## Analysis

A lengthy, conversational episode from Poor Man's Pinball Podcast where the host (identified as Orby) provides his enthusiastic but critical reaction to Jersey Jack Pinball's Avatar machine reveal trailer. He breaks down his top five favorite features of Avatar (the Scamp scoop, bioluminescence, art package, hologram topper, and eclipse lighting effect), compares it favorably to Stern's X-Men in cinematography and theme execution, criticizes Kerry Hardy for participating in fat-shaming comments about Ken Cromwell during a viewing party, and discusses his personal collecting philosophy and streaming plans. The episode is highly tangential and personal, touching on family, renovations, pinball politics, and community dynamics.

### Key Claims

- [HIGH] Jersey Jack Pinball's 18-minute Avatar reveal trailer is cinematography-quality work that could be submitted to film festivals to expose non-pinball people to the hobby — _Orby speaking directly about the trailer quality and production value_
- [HIGH] Kerry Hardy allowed or participated in fat-shaming comments directed at Ken Cromwell during the Avatar reveal viewing party/stream, which Orby considers unprofessional community moderation — _Orby explicitly states multiple people were fat-shaming Cromwell and Hardy didn't shut it down; Orby criticizes Hardy's response_
- [HIGH] The Avatar CE (Collector's Edition) features one-of-a-kind powder-coated leg armor with unique Navi patterns, making each machine essentially unique — _Orby describes metallic/powder-coat process on CE legs and armor_
- [MEDIUM] Ken Cromwell appears to be in excellent physical shape (doing creatine, arms ripped, thicker neck) based on recent video appearance — _Orby's own observation of Cromwell in Avatar reveal materials_
- [HIGH] The Scamp scoop mechanic on Avatar is the coolest interactive toy/mech on the machine, as it changes behavior based on which flipper is used to hit it — _Orby's ranked assessment of Avatar's mechanical features_
- [MEDIUM] The mech suit character on Avatar (referred to as 'Ninja Dude') only has arm movement triggered by electronic switch interaction with no kinetic energy or ball interaction — _Orby's critique based on Eclectic Gamers podcast discussion and reveal footage_
- [MEDIUM] Avatar's art package was created by a relatively new artist to pinball, possibly her first or second pinball design package — _Orby states artist is 'newer to pinball' and believes this is likely her first or second package; artist name not clearly stated (possibly 'Franchi')_
- [MEDIUM] X-Men's playfield is reportedly too busy visually (from straight-down camera angle) but may appear less cluttered in person — _Orby paraphrasing community feedback about X-Men design_
- [HIGH] Mark Seiden (credited designer of Avatar) has created an exceptionally strong first pinball machine, particularly regarding theme integration with lighting and visual effects — _Orby's direct praise of Seiden's design work on Avatar_
- [MEDIUM] Jersey Jack pinball machines since Wonka have progressively moved away from slot-machine sound design, which Orby views as a positive direction — _Orby's observation about JJP sound design evolution_

### Sentiment

**Mixed** (0.62) — Orby is enthusiastic and impressed by Avatar's production quality, cinematography, and specific design elements (Scamp, bioluminescence, art), rating it highly in most respects. However, he expresses skepticism about certain features (eclipse lighting moment, mech suit arm movement) and remains committed to X-Men as his preferred machine. His sentiment is also tempered by interpersonal criticism (Kerry Hardy's moderation failure) and community politics frustration (media tour exclusions, FOMO). Overall positive toward Avatar but with measured reservations and broader industry critique.

RGBs... uv lights'
- **[design_philosophy]** Avatar's design emphasizes cohesive theme integration across visual elements (lighting, RGB, UV, cabinet art, playfield art, back glass) over mechanical complexity, representing a design philosophy shift toward visual/thematic immersion (confidence: medium) — Orby praises 'everything uh it probably could have made my list it probably would have been number six was how great the animations are' and emphasizes 'theme integration with lights, theme integration with RGBs, theme integration with uv lights'
- **[product_strategy]** Jersey Jack employing aggressive limited edition differentiation strategy with unique Navi patterns on CE armor and powder-coat variations, creating individual collector value and secondary market appeal (confidence: medium) — Orby describes CE customization approach: 'no one's legs are going to look identical and no one's armor' making each 'essentially a one-of-one'

## Transcript

All get around, he's on the rebound. Hear the sound of our buddy, oh lordy, it's Orby. Pinball now to rejoice. He's tugging pinball, craft beer and coffee, mixed with syrup and honey. He hosts a lot with his family and the random tangents. Stories of his boys. He's on the Poor Man's Front Network. We're going to get more listeners for the Pinball Nuts Podcast. Coming to you from the beautiful River Higgins, let's go show. I'm fine, yeah. dozen or so, maybe a bit more, maybe 15, 20 pinball content creators all gathered together, having a great time and not be invited. Of course, that's not, you know, that's not a wonderful feeling, especially when you were one of the rare people now not invited to the Stern one or the Jersey Jack one. So I must be something special. And hell, if Kaneda can get invited to go to Jersey Jack someday, maybe, maybe, maybe I'll get invited to go to Stern or Jersey Jack or who knows anywhere about pinball adventures for the love of God. All right, guys, here we go. I'm really excited about this. I really wanted to let a few days go by since watching the trailer and really just digest everything, think about it. I've had the pleasure of listening to some other content creators' input on it. Shout out to Kaneda there who just had episode 1,000. Incredible interview with George Gomez. Really interesting, really fun. Got to hear his thoughts about it, of course. That was back on episode 999. And, um, I thought really Kaneda did a great job. Christy did a really good job of, uh, being as unbiased as you possibly could be for a company that flew you out first class, uh, helicoptered you into the roof and, uh, laid out the golden carpet for you, so to speak. And I heard you got also a free pair of, uh, limited edition avatar Gucci's. Is that true? No, I'm just kidding. Those probably don't even exist. Maybe they do. I don't know. I don't know anything about high fashion. I don't even know anything about mid-fashion or low-fashion. I don't even know. That's all right. I'm not a fashionista. However, I do like to color match once in a while. That's neither here nor there. So, let's just get right into it. My goal here is to, even though I love Stern, I love Jack Danger, and I love X-Men, so it would be very, very rare for any pinball machine from any company to get me more excited than that, I still have to say for the record that when I watched that 18 minute film oh my god I could not believe it this was cinematography I said that Cary Hardy should put at least episode 1, I don't know what episode 2 with the leg crossing and everything but at least episode 1 at least episode 1, Cary Hardy you know, I said, you should put that in like some little film festival or something just to expose non-pinball people to pinball and see how rad it is. And really, I mean, okay, maybe that's not, I mean, he just did a really good job shooting that, but wow. Cary Hardy, JJP just said, hold my beer bra because this 18 minute, I don't even, is it even a teaser? Can you call it a teaser when it's like as long as an episode of Seinfeld? Probably not. But it was like everybody in the room, like I, for me to get both of my sons, both of my sons at the same time to not be on their cell phones at once? Near impossible. I would have to offer them like a free booster box of Pokemon or I'd have to offer them like a week straight of doing no dishes. I'd have to offer like, oh, and double pay on Saturdays at the market with me or something. I would have to offer something really rad. And wow, we were watching Avatar. My wife was loving it. My sons were loving it. I was loving it. They did a great job. They did a perfect job. Like everything from the panning to the lighting to the everything. Everything was incredible. Now, I will say this. I was watching the, I went after I watched it. I didn't watch the viewing party with Cary Hardy. I was there at the start, but then I left. I watched it on my own. Sorry for Avatar. I don't know if he did a viewing party. He did after. I think he did later on the night. I was thinking about X-Men for a second there. See, I can't stop thinking about X-Men. But when he was in there, what I found was really rude and mean. multiple people were saying that Ken Cromwell looked like they were fat shaming. They were just being really, really, really rude. And when they said that, instead of Kerry Hardy being like, yo, that's not cool. Like, let's not talk about that. He was kind of like, yeah, I might've been thinking the same thing. I was like, what my guy. So I don't know. I don't know if Kerry Hardy is beefing with JJP or what, or vice versa. Um, I don't think he, I think there's a better chance that I get an invite to JJP in the future than Kerry Hardy after that one. So Carrie, you got thick skin. I got to call you out from time to time. You're my boy. But like, that wasn't rad. If that was my live stream and someone was fat shaming anybody, I don't care if it was Ken Cromwell or anyone just on any video. I'd just be like, yo, that's not, that's not cool. None of us are perfect. Okay. And also, you know, growing up, hey, hey, hey, Fat Albert. I was called Fat Albert all the time. So I've been like getting fat shamed since like probably 1985, 1986. it's not very fun and at the time I was a skinny little bastard too like I wasn't even I didn't even begin to get overweight maybe till like grade 10 I started to get a little poochy-toochy then by grade 12 when I was like pulling up at like 178 pounds I was I was jokingly called Fat Albert on my cross-country team mostly by people who were good friends of mine but I've gone off topic I've gone off topic no more fat shaming I actually watched a video and I was like yo Ken Cromwell looks like he's in the gym looks like his neck was thicker like he's doing the creatine, his arms are ripped. Like I thought, I was like, yo, this guy's hulking out. And then I'm in the live stream. I'm like, they're like being rude. And I'm like, dude, that's not cool. I don't even care if I got an invite or not. That's just not cool. I honestly, I put on a lot of weight. Um, I got really sick about two years ago, a little bit after I'm not going to talk about why. Cause yeah, but, um, I'm trying to be slightly more professional and less like a blog here. I've already gone off topic probably way too many times. But what I want to say is y'all don't be fat shaming me because you're going to see me at Expo and I'm not going to lie. I'm like pushing 230 right now. I look like I'm between seven to eight months pregnant or at least so that's what my nephew said to me the last time he saw me. Anyways, no, love you Riker and Liam. But no, where I'm going with this is that that's just uncalled for at any point and I'm going to go out of my way to be unbiased and just like tell you guys straight up how it is. Now, Avatar isn't my best theme and that therefore makes this more difficult for me as a hardcore comic book nerd and collectibles dealer I obviously and growing up loving x-men and and and all that kind of stuff uh you know obviously it's something I gravitate towards even if Jack Danger were not um you know we're not the designer and then of course my parasocial relationship with Jack Danger over you know I don't know five or six years of being in his live stream three four or five nights a week, sometimes two, three. Like literally there's no other pinball content creator. Even to this day, I've spent more time and feel like, you know, at the time felt more camaraderie with. Now, of course, Jack Danger has 21,000 subscribers. So he doesn't, obviously he can't feel that same way with every single person. But I like to think that while I was in chat, he was, you know, we love like a lot of the same music. We're similar in age. We grew up, you know, only a few hours from each other, right? So I was just, I was not, I was like right across the, well, I don't actually know. I thought, anyways, not the point. The point is, this isn't Jack Danger's day. I gave X-Men tons of cred. I hyped it up, which was, I'm still all in. No, I didn't cancel my X-Men order that I haven't put in yet. But it is, I kind of have a deal with my wife. If we can get the kitchen renovated, the kitchen's the number one thing left that needs renovated in our house. We just about finished the floor. we've got to go around and do some of the uh whatever that is the baseboards and stuff around the bottom why am i talking about renovations okay let's get into that i haven't canceled my order for x-men is what i was saying but i made a deal if the kitchen gets done and we come in under cost and like it looks decent and everything else and we're not way over budget could we perhaps possibly take some of the money from the heloc some of the money from my a small amount of savings from my collectibles account and basically jam it together and just say like look worst case scenario probably on any stern pro you'd lose what 500 to 750 more I guess if it had like 10,000 plays and it was on location for three months but I'm just saying in a home environment here at max I would probably put on two to three thousand plays in six months to a year depending on how much I loved it and and the idea is that I would hopefully save that forever but in case of an emergency we really needed money I don't know something happened we could obviously probably sell it and not have to worry about losing that much. And if I get to own this awesome pinball machine for three, four, five, six months, play the hell out of it. Maybe, hopefully stream it, get the Pinball Nerds Podcast Twitch channel back going again. That was so fun. I can't wait to do that. Would have to upgrade my cameras by now. No one is using like, I was using like basically like the highest end webcam or not even highest end, but like a decent, like I think it was like 130 or $140 webcam to look down at my play field. and that was, it's just not, it wouldn't cut it nowadays. It was bad. Like five years ago, I was near the bottom of like, eh, okay, it's barely watchable. So now I would need to update all of that stuff. But that's neither here nor there. Let's, shout out to Mark Seiden, by the way. For many of you, I've mentioned this before. I did get to interview him. I would have to guess I was perhaps his first interview at Pimberg. I wonder if Mark Seiden even remembers that. I wonder if, I would love to get a chat with Mark, actually. There's very few people that could get me back to doing interviews, but Mark Seiden, if you're listening, or anyone over there at JJP, I know Ken Cromwell doesn't listen, or he would have invited me. Come on, he would have known how hard I simped for Elton John. I was probably like the only person who was like, yo, I don't like the Toy Story theme. I don't care if it's Toy Story 1, 2, 3, or 4. I just think it looks like it shoots kind of cool. And was there lots of mechs that interact with the ball in Toy Story? No, but there was that ramp that goes up and interacts with it, right? So there was at least that, and I think there was at least oh and then there was the bash toy that you hit the girl the girl that's mean or something that comes up so there was there was at least two in that that interact with the ball and that's my favorite things is toys or mechs that interact with the ball so that brings me around to avatar um i did actually watch go back uh my oldest son said he didn't remember watching it as a kid and said he'd be willing to watch it we do have disney plus so we went and the whole fam uh i think the whole fam minus owen we watched uh the first like half or three quarters jesus it's a long movie but we watched it and i was like man i get it like it is a really good sci-fi movie it really is connecting with mother earth with which is something i do out here all the time and i was kind of being rude and mean about it saying oh it's too dorky for me or whatever i'm like nah let's be honest if you're watching avatar avatar is like kind of more fire and and and even less nerdy or dorky, not that there's anything wrong with that, than even Star Trek or Star Wars, to be honest. If you really look at it, it's about warriors and fighting and like, I don't know, it's also about greed and trying to get an Obtanium or whatever, right? Obsidian, what is it? I don't know. But the point is, let's get into the top five because I have yammered on too much. Number one, my favorite thing, and I didn't do this in order per se, even though it's pretty close to what I think or how like excited I got about it. Number one, oh, I don't want to say this. Okay, this is not rank, but number one, this is the first thing that came to my mind was the scamp or the scamp. I think it's the scamp. It's not the scab. It's not the ramp. It's not the scoop. It's the scamp. No, it's the scamp. The scamp is a scoop on one side. And if you, so if you hit it into it probably, I think, with one of the six upper flippers, well, one of the six flippers, an upper flipper, and you hit into it, it goes just like a regular scoop, right? But if you hit it from one of your lower flippers, just at the right angle, it shoots the ball up in the air and then does some stuff up there. So that is pretty cool. Now, does it change state? Does it move? Does it actually interact? I mean, does it interact with the ball because the ball shoots up in the are yes, but the difference I think with maybe Toy Story was that that particular ramp wasn't there, so you could hit that same shot all the time, nothing would happen, and then the ramp would come up once in a while, and so I don't know, I think that's, and the same thing with the girl, right? So I don't know, I don't know, you be the judge, but I think the Scram is probably the coolest mech. I did just listen to the Eclectic Gamers podcast, and they had mentioned, I think they call them the Ninja Dude, but it's the mech suit to the left, see at least I know what mech suit is now that I've watched enough of this, and that is, oh, the mech suit. Imagine the mech suit in the middle of the playfield like the Iron Munger. Or Munger? Iron Munger. Munger. I'm a fish munger. I don't even know what a munger is. I know what a fish munger is. No clue what an iron munger is. But anyways, well, I mean, I know what it is because it's from Marvel, but in real life, yeah. So the scram is rad. The scram is cool. I can't wait to shoot the scram and the scoop and the ramp. However, it doesn't actually move or do anything like that. And I know I did hear them say on Eclectic Gamers that, like, they thought it was pretty funny. They called it, like, the ninja, you know, because his arm just kind of moves when you hit the row below it. That seems really, really, really... Okay, I'm trying... See, that's the thing is, do I want an invite to the next Jersey Jack one? I have to be careful what I say here. Maybe I should be, because I'm trying to be unbalanced. It seems not super rad, that one. And that's why, I'm not going to lie, it's not on this list. So let's just move forward, okay? That might be a toy because yes it moves but there no kinetic energy involved It a switch going off which causes another electronic switch to go which causes some dude to move his arm like he freaking swatting a mosquito or something I don't even know. What other motions are like that? I don't know. He's doing something. We don't know what he's doing. He's doing something with his mech suit. I don't like it. You don't like it. Nobody likes it. It's wild. It's weird. I hope the mod department comes up with something, somehow, someway. I don't even know how they would. But imagine if there was a giant mech suit right in the middle, and as you hit different parts, like, all of a sudden, like, he gains this leg. Like Bride of Pimbot, right? And you had to build the mech suit, and then when he was finally together, he actually, like, came up out of the ground. You know, like, I don't know. Anyways, I'm just, I'm thinking out of the box here. I would love to see a better mech than the Scram, but I think the Scram is, I think it's the only one, I guess. Pop bumpers aren't ramp, pop bumpers aren't mechs. even Elton John Elton John arguably no does the ball ever actually touch the awesome one of my favorite mechs in a long time and I will call it a mech it does move so I guess by that right the sword guy arm the mech suit sword is sort of kind of like I guess it sort of is a mech see I'm talking myself out of it here but Elton John playing piano up there and the moment Elton John turns and he looks at you and then you can see all that stuff going on there. That, to me, that is a huge, massive moment. That is a mech. It doesn't interact with the ball, but it definitely is an interesting, fun... It is a rad mech, and I think it was number one on my list when I did Elton John, whereas I don't think the... I'll say fine. He is a mech because it is mechanicalized, like his arm is moving, so it's not static, but it's not a mech that interacts with the ball in the way that I would like it to, I guess. So, all right, number two on this list is the bio luminescence freaking love that stuff it is beautiful the first time you see that video and you see the bioluminescence go and the different colors and the depth it adds if you're not blown away what is wrong with you shoot i was supposed to have the jersey jack page up here before i started this but i was too worried about getting atlantis more sets uninvited up so let me just go to jersey jack and you should be following along at jersey jack pinball as well while I'm talking about this. So just in case you can see everything else I was talking about. But I'm sure you've seen the videos. If you're listening to the show, this is the LE of pinball podcasts. You probably know all about it. I just, I don't want to go on my list and get the next one after this wrong. But the bioluminescence is incredible. It's beautiful. Oh, another thing, and this didn't make the list, but this is also just about how it looks. the CE or the 15k one, the highest priced one, the one that would be like 22k here in Canada, that particular one has like metallic dipped, I forget what you call it, there's a name for it, but it's a special way to like, it's a special way that they coated all of the leg, they powder coated the legs basically with this really cool design and so every single CE is essentially a one-of-one, like no one's legs are going to look identical and no one's armor, so that is really incredible. That didn't quite make my top five, but that in itself is incredible. Now I'm going to skip number three because I'm going to come back to this in a second because I want to make sure that I have the right name of the right person when I am doing this part. But number four on my list, so we'll come back to number three. Number four, this one is simple. This one is easy. This is hands down. This is kind of the first one that you hear a lot of people talk about. this is the incredible topper on the CE. It looks like holograms. It's incredible. Who doesn't love holograms? Anyone who was around and alive in the 80s, when the most rad time ever to be around, let's be honest. There was so many holograms everywhere. I remember even Sega had this cool game where you had to like draw your guns and shoot and fight. If anyone remembers the name of this game, email me at pinballnerds at gmail.com. But it was this game where you have to shoot. You had to like have your hands down. You couldn't be on the button and then all of a sudden it was a hologram, it was in arcades, you couldn't get it for at home, and you could reach your hand in there and feel there was nothing there, but then you could see him and he'd pull his hand out and you had to hit the button and shoot the gunfighter, right? So, there we go. Yeah, one-of-a-kind Navi pattern cabinet armor. So that is really cool. Because just like the Navi, they have their individual patterns. So, I think Kaneda said this first, so I don't want to repeat too much of what he said. And also, that is behind a paywall, so I don't know how much of the George Gomez interview I want to spend here now talking about it. I will say this. If you have had the time and energy to listen to Kaneda's and you loved listening to George Gomez speak, which I certainly did, what a confident, well-spoken, educated, smart, like he knows what to say, where, when, and how. If you liked and enjoyed hearing that one, or you can't listen to it because it's behind a paywall, go catch up with my homie Gomi over there with Ryan Barry Kimba set set this one out even though I think she fired off some questions for him to answer but George Gomez can you imagine this if you told me if Ryan Barry if I told Ryan Barry three months ago hey the same week that Canada's Pinball Podcast interviews George Gomez you're going to interview George Gomez he'd be like yeah go get bent night right I okay it doesn't sound like that I'm sorry but he'd be like dude there's no way it's not going to happen. And like legitimately, that was one of their first interviews. I think they've done a couple small ones on location, right? But so that's just incredible. That's a bigger get than I've ever got. I don't know, arguable, depend on who you ask. I mean, I have had Jack Danger on the show before. Jeff Teolas, the golden voice of pinball. That's a pretty big get, right? But it's not, you know, I think it would be like Gary Stern, Steve Ritchie, Pat Lawler, Keith Elwin, and George Gomez. Like those would be like, like just those people, if I sat down to talk to them, I would just be like, my hand would be a shaking, I'd be a trembling. I would just be so nervous. I would want to make sure the audio was like perfect. You know, it would be very challenging, but Ryan killed it. He asked some great questions and honestly, there was no repeat answer. So even if you've listened to one or the other, there's no repeat answer. So Ryan, cheers to you and Kimba for nailing that interview over there. Phantom Tilt. Make sure you guys go listen to that. But let's get back into number four, the topper. So I do think it looks really big. And if it's way bigger and taller than all the other ones, some people's OCD would not. I don't care if you have a topper or don't have a topper. I'm not the topper king. Okay. I'm not even the topper queen. I'm the topper fart the usher. That's what I am. I don't really care if it's cool and it's included. awesome um spooky does a good job i know including them i believe right or they used to uh but let's get back to number three the art package and i'm even looking at it right now the cabinet on both the le and the ce are incredible obviously i think the ce is a bit better but i think i oh the the back glass with that like the main uh navi character like their eyes their eyes just staring you down with the avatar thing there the huge big screen like the overall just general look and appearance of the ce is just incredible um there is a lot of you know there is obviously with with the uv kits and the blah blah blah rgb plus uv hot rails uh rgb plus uv back panel lighting like This thing is going to look like fire. And I'm trying to find her name right now. Jersey Jack, how dare you not put her name on the front page. I am looking for the art. I'm sure it's on here. But the artist, she is newer to pinball. If not her first, I believe it was her first package ever. And I think the play field is gorgeous. I think that the back glass is gorgeous. I think that, okay, here's the alley. Yeah, the cab's not, the cab's still really cool on the alley. or whatever they're calling it. But the CE is just, whew, sorry, Franchi. They knocked it out of the park. I know you don't like baseball terminology, but the play field's nearly, like, I just can't imagine. It's very whimsical. It's very fun. It's kind of comic book-ish. I wouldn't say it's, like, over busy. I have heard a lot of people saying X-Men, the play field especially, is too busy. I do, after they say that and I look at it, I can see it, But I think in person, not looking from a straight down view, it wouldn't appear as, you know, that much. So number one, the Scram. Number two, the Bioluminescence. Number three, that Fire art package. I think that she is going to have a long career in pinball art because, you know, it would have to be her style, obviously, but like incredible. Applaud you. Little miniature golf claps here. I don't want to wake up Draco Franchi sleeping over there or hurry up Hayden sleeping upstairs because he's on midnights, right? So that's also the reason why you don't hear singing as often in the shows. Because believe you me, I'd love to sing. Maybe not as much as that Disney episode. I did hear that one was like, okay, way too much. And I get it. I did delete it, by the way. I do delete a large sum of my pinball podcasts. I wouldn't say large, but maybe like one in three, one in four. First, multiple different reasons. One of them is to leave more space here on the Poor Man's Pinball Network. make sure you guys go listen to Foghorn Leghorn and Craft Brew Sally. They just did a recent show talking about X-Men and Avatar. They are getting, I mean, they've always been good. Come on, everything here on the Poor Man's Pinball Network is good. But they've just been getting better and better and better. And I'm really enjoying it. So if you don't already currently have them subscribed and listen to every freaking one of their episodes, make sure you go support our network and do that as well. And I promised Ted Finley, a tribe member here, that I would give a shout out to pinballprices.com, and I forgot to do that a while ago. So there you go. Go check out, make sure you're getting yourself a good deal. As I always say, play before you pay. This is the way. If you play before you pay, it gets rid of like 90% of issues. You don't have to worry about losing huge deposits. You definitely don't have to worry about losing your whole amount of money. And like many other people, you don't get a game. play it for anything I would say under 100 plays and sell it and lose significant money, you don't want to do that. You want to only buy a game that you think you're going to hold on to for a couple years. Not even to make money, but just so that because you have limited space in your arcade. You know, unless you have like, you know, a mansion or unlimited money. You only have, unless you have a pool of gold, okay, and you can swim around like Scrooge McDuck. Josh Mud, I will not sing the theme song for you today, my friend. But maybe next episode. Maybe next episode. All right, number five on this list is a total eclipse of the heart. Wait, I just said I wouldn't sing. Sorry, okay. See, I can't help myself. So, the eclipse. This is a moment. Now, Jack Danger, Stern, I do want an invite in the future. I don't want to go three. I don't want to go three media tours in a row and strike out all three. You know, three strikes, you're out. I don't want that to happen. Sorry again, Franchi, for the baseball references. But Jack Danger, I love you. And everybody working over there in the coding department, everyone doing lighting, I love you. I still don't think that the moment when they go from the future to the past or the past to the future is as rad or not even nearly as rad. And maybe it just looks good on camera. I'd have to see it in person, side by side. Maybe the way Stern filmed it, it didn't show up as good as you're going to see it in real life in a dark room. Maybe the way that JJP filmed it made it look better. I know that a lot of people were saying there was extra lights being shined down and such. Primarily Kaneda mentioned that, but I believe I saw it somewhere else. So do I actually believe that it will look as good as we did in the video? Maybe not, because JJP is just so good at making stuff look incredible, right? Like I said, that video is A++. It had me even thinking like, wow. And in fact, one of my good friends, who you've heard me talk about many times on this show, disagrees with me and believes that Avatar is way freaking better than X-Men. And that person is going to be coming on the show, hopefully in the next couple days, maybe the next week, to argue with Albert. That's right. Or should I call it arguing with Orby? I don't know. It doesn't have the same alliteration, right? But they're going to come on here and we're going to kind of debate it out. So I'm excited to do that. And I will say this, Mark Seiden, you take a bow, my dude, because for a first pinball machine, it looks to me like you killed it. It's so hard to tell shots and flow through videos. It's really easy to make it look perfect. You don't know how bricky a game is. But Mark Seiden, I will say from just a theme integration, as far as theme integration, not with mechs and toys, but theme integration with lights, theme integration with RGBs, theme integration with uv lights theme integration with the art on the outside matching like how cool everything looks on the inside and then everything uh it probably could have made my list it probably would have been number six was how great the animations are uh jp to win is that his name i i don't know where i pulled that out of that is not that is not written on this uh bag of nails that i have left over from doing the floor that i wrote my uh top five list on so um but yeah i I believe that's your name. Incredible job. And I do like what they did with the interface, with the score and everything else. Whether or not I'm going to love the sounds, if they're every single time the machine is, every single new JJP machine since Wonka, they've been less and less slot machine sounding, which is great. As a guy who worked at one of the three largest banks in Canada, I had to use the overflow parking. in the Western Fair of Slots in London, Ontario. And way too often I went into there and probably spent more than I should have. And I used to have a little addiction problem with gambling, trying to get better. I didn't blow my whole paycheck, but let's just say my disposable income for the next two weeks sometimes was gone within two hours of getting paid. A couple times. So I don't ever want to do that kind of thing again. So I just detest. I love poker, which I consider to be mostly skill, partially luck, depending on how many hands you're playing, how many big blinds you have left all those sorts of things um oh shout out to what his name he just got to the Borgata final table Oh my God I drawing a blank I feel so bad But he is from New York City and you all know him. I probably will remember the name later. But let's sum this up. All the shots and all the wire forms and everything back there, they look really cool. I don't know if I'm going to love that play field with just the bumper down there. I think like even Donald from Don's Pinball Podcast, of course, Donald was showing the live stream and doing the video of Colin playing. And Colin admittedly isn't like the best player. Colin, I love you. Colin of the Kineticists, of course. Hoping to be teaming up with Colin to, I don't know, again, I don't know what I'm doing, but hopefully I can team up with him to do something cool and fun. I have confirmed my spot to go to the Media Mixer Expo. Really stoked for that. Canadian government, if you're listening, if you could get me that passport in a time timely manner, like you promised, that would be great. I have not got like an email notification that it's coming yet. I don't even know if they do that. I hope so. They have my email. Use it, guys. Let me know. The only way I will not come is if I don't get my passport back on time. That was probably the only reason why I didn't go to the Beast, actually. I really wanted to go to the Beast and was considering going even if I didn't get into the main event, just to go cover it and hang out with pinball nerds. But the passport is on the way, so long as there's no problem with the passport. I will 100% be at Expo. And I'm very, very, very excited to do that. But I will say this, I will say this, funds have been a little bit tight. Whenever, you know, for several months when my wife is off work, we make significantly less income. And then the two big shows, the Seaglass Fest and the Freddie Beach Comic Con, they were both huge duds, huge duds. There was just way too many comic book vendors at the one place and it was they broke a record heat temperature and two weeks before that it was or three weeks before that it was the same thing bi we we thought both of them we'd do three to four grand and we did a fraction of that at both of them and even after that that eats into your um non basically it eats into your fixed costs like your hotels and uh you know your table fee for the weekend and stuff so we are very very very poor right now but i so i I might have to, don't ask me to go out to like an awesome steakhouse with you or like the really expensive deep dish pizza place. Molligatoni's, no, that's not it. That was actually the deep dish place in London or Mollidoni's or something. But there is two or three deep dish places. I've never had Chicago deep dish pizza in Chicago. I've had Chicago style deep dish places. Frommagio's was actually, that's a real place in London, Ontario that also does award winning. probably, again, not as good as somewhere in Chicago because, well, it's Chicago. But I'm excited. I've never been to Chicago proper. I've never been to Pinball Expo. There's tons of people from the Poor Man's Tribe, of course, who I haven't met. They have a booth there, so I'm really, really excited for that. I'm really excited to do the pinball tournament. I can't wait to meet Glenn the Skateboarder. Unfortunately, I'm going to be straight up here right now. I'm probably not going to the 24-hour. I think I may have mentioned that, but it's almost for sure now at this point, unless, unless, and you could be life-changing. You could change my life. If I were to sell one of these five collectibles, one of these five that I'm going to tell you about right now, I would definitely be able to do, I would say I most likely would be able to either A, roll into Expo in style and have a little bit of extra funds or B, maybe even go to the 24-hour of the Sanctum, depending on which one they were. But let me just put, before I tell you about those, let me just put a little, and if you're only here for the pinball content, and you just can't stay on collectibles and you hate comic books and you don't like sports cards and you don't like non-sports cards, just go. You're excused. But I will say, if you'd like a way to support the show and help yourself out, I haven't asked for donations in multiple months. I also haven't asked for any coffee or tea sales in multiple months. I haven't left any links to do either of those things for a very long time. And I'm not going to today. What I will say is you can email me at pinballnerds at gmail.com if you'd like more information or pictures about any of the five I'm going to tell you about. And I'm also going to say, if we're friends on Facebook, you can go ahead and just message me through Messenger. That's probably even easier or more likely to hear back quicker. So I'm not going to lie. I don't check the, I get so few emails. I don't check it every single day. I would just be like disappointed. Now I did for like a week straight thinking I might hear from Ken Cromwell. Like, yo dude, hey, someone couldn't make it. So we decided not to give Kanae a first class. We're just going to give him regular so that you can fly in budget. Like, you know, and then someone said to me too, like, well, maybe it's because you're Canadian. I'm like, well, first of all, Stern brought out Jeff Teolas, who's Canadian. So I don't see why, like, if JJP can spend enough to have 22 modes, you know, rather than 22 modes, JJP, how about you give me like five to 10 fully finished modes, you know, like finish up that code. Yo, that would, that could have been the one bad. I didn't even say the one bad yet. I'm going to say the one bad. And then I'm going to excuse you all people like Christopher Franchi that don't want to hear me go too much off the pinball topic and get the hell out of here. And then I will go on with my day. I'll let y'all go on with your day. But the one bad thing is, and I think you might have got this from everything else I've said, the one bad thing was there's no mechs that interact with the ball. If I'm thinking about the Scramp, or say there's someone who just loves that mech suit with the arm that moves. That's not me, but let's say you were that person. And you were to think about, and I don't want to do too many comparisons because I'm going to do this later on this week, but if you were to think about X-Men, you asked yourself, is the Scram or the Mech Suit, if that's the main one. I don't know what the main one is. I think it's the Scram. I mean, it's got its own name. Or Scrap? Scram? S-Camp? I don't remember. Whatever it is. The Scram. The Scamp. There it is, the Scram. If the Scram... I'm probably saying... I'm not going to say it anymore. I said it too much. Too much Scramping going on. If that is the main toy or the main Mech in the game that interacts with the ball, because the ball does shoot up off of it, right? Think about it. What's cooler, that or the Colossus head that's in, wait, it's not Colossus. Damn, the Sentinel head, sorry, the big Sentinel head that comes up in and out of there, even when it stays still and it's just a big thing. What's cooler? Well, I'll tell you what's cooler. I think that the Sentinel head is way cooler. It's not even close. Like one is like a ground double and the other one is like a grand slam, okay? but if we really think about it is it cooler than even that big sentinel hand that comes down and smashes into the habit trail and knocks it down makes the ball go a different direction and f's with the ball no it's definitely not is the scamp even nearly as cool as the finger that like just flicked it like gave it the a-okay and flicks the ball and it goes a different direction no it's not it's just not i don't think anyone would say that i'm very few people less than maybe one percent two percent you know what I mean out of the people who don't work for JJP probably zero unless you're like a hardcore JJP nerd right so then you have to think about well what about the vertical what about that vertical uh very target captive ball ball lock that Jack Danger has in X-Men is the scram cooler than that and I'm like well hells no of course not like just it's just not now the leaper in the pro I will say this the leaper in the pro I don't love that I don't like the look of it that would be the only reason maybe why I wouldn't even get the pros because I don't like the look of the leaper again I gotta play it but in the videos I'm going nah it's very like nah even and even that does interact with the ball more arguably than the mech suit guy because it's actually you know the ball is actually giving kinetic energy into this to decide how far the leaper leaps right so I guess what it comes down to for me is that I don't love the theme even though I do like the movie I don't love the theme I'm not in love with it I have zero nostalgia for it I love the artwork I love the lighting but the shots look kind of fun who knows how many years it could take for the code to be finished though so if you absolutely love avatar and you're not a bazillionaire I would probably just wait to buy it used because you're going to save at the very least a thousand at the very very very least a thousand bucks in three to six months from now when they first start to come up. And then on the lower end version, you're probably going to lose, you're probably going to save 500 to 750 minimum. Probably more than that. Probably you're going to save 1500 on the lower end version to 1000, maybe any closer to a year from now. And I could be wrong. I could be completely wrong. This could be the one in 1000 pins that goes up after and they completely sell out. I highly doubt that. I highly, highly, highly doubt that. And I will tell you this, for anybody, including Don, I love you, Donald. we are facebook buds again which is great we've been chatting it's nice he did mention that he favors if he had to choose he favored avatar he was more avatar than x-men he said they're both great he didn't cancel his order of three my question to you is don if avatar is better why did you buy three x-men but only one avatar wouldn't you have bought like three avatar if you thought it was equally as good or four or five i don't i don't that's just me maybe it's easier to take that maybe the real answer is it's easier to take the stern premiums and like donify buy them or whatever he does to them, mod them up. I don't know. I don't know. I don't really know. But I will say this. I will literally quit this pod. I will say game over, one year from right now, if Avatar is ranked higher than X-Men, I would be beyond shocked, beyond shocked. Let's not even say I'll quit the show. Maybe I've taken it slightly too far. I will either send, I will either go on Don's show, he can come on mine, and I'll be like, I'm not worthy, I'm not worthy. I'll do the whole Wayne's rule thing and just be like, I was 100% wrong, but I'm like 99, 95% sure a year from now. And again, I think Mark Seiden killed it. I think he did a great job. It looks incredible. Even looks like it shoots and it's fun. That other lower play field that doesn't have the pop bumper, the pop bumper one doesn't look that fun, but that other little play field down there with the three fourth ball, that looks pretty fun. It looks like it'd be pretty fun the first 10 or 20 times you play it. Then you'd be like, okay, can we go on with the real size ball with the real flippers with the real play can we can we move on here to like you know because the monsters one was timed it had this feeling of like oh you've got 30 seconds get it all going go go go quick quick quick quick even then it you i never even owned a monsters and after going down in grandpa's basement that just sounds weird but after going down there like 10 or 15 times you're like okay that's like that was fun like i've seen people just playing for fun and go nah i'm just not even gonna and they just let the ball go away same thing with the stewie multi ball um yeah but i i think for mark seiden if i'm so excited to see what he does next if this is his first one and yeah i still think avatar is like an a minus b plus you know it's still a very good it's still a sought after you know again everyone's saying you don't see people walking around like with star wars and stuff sure fine but avatar still avatar is still hands down way better than alice in wonderland even i will give a small shout out to ian hair where he did explain to me there's like some mathematician who wrote a book about it like hundreds of years ago and then there's like a really cool comic book about it that was a little bit too risque or something but there was and then there was a he said his least favorite thing was a Disney movie so when when he said that I was like okay well I've only seen the Disney movie I thought that's what it was and a children's nursery rhyme I didn't know it was like an adult book from hundreds of years ago so I'm probably not going to be like simping out any literature classics like Moby Dick and wanting to turn them into pinball machines either. But I will say this Avatar is leaps and bounds above Alice, even with everything I know about Alice, which I guess it makes it more of an adult theme than I thought, which, you know, that's good. But I'm not going to be buying Avatar. And if you canceled your X-Men order to buy an Avatar, just do me a favor. Don't tell anyone about that on Pinside because you will become the laughingstock. You'll get the most down votes of anyone that you've ever seen um maybe keep that to yourself keep that maybe in the jersey jack uh owners club or something on facebook i don't know because like it's just like the code is going to go the code is going to be done years hear me out the code on x-men will be hitting 1.0 if not being completed probably most likely from their past track record and they haven't said any differently years before avatar so you have years until you wanted to decide if you want to even buy avatar anyways second of all from all the content creators that went there they said it shot pretty well and stuff like that but again there was like like but what's going on with the code where's the toys where's the mechs you know like what's you know like it looks cool but like how cool is the c really gonna look they only got to see like a model version of it for now so i'm happy for jjp i hope the sales go well i can tell you this they had that le priced at probably a thousand less and they had the CE priced at probably $2,000 less or $1,500 less, it would have sold a lot better. I can also tell you this, and I'll still stand by this, if they had released it a month earlier or a month later, the sales would be between 10% to 20% higher, perhaps 20% higher. And when you're talking about millions of dollars of sales, that's a lot. Like a loss of half a million dollars just on their books for this year, that could be the difference between them being in the red or the black this year. So that was a major misstep. But what I don't know is I don't know if Stern perhaps knew the date that they were going to drop, so Stern jumped ahead the X-Men reveal. And if that in fact happened, and that might have been what happened, then JJP probably, it was too late for them maybe to change. And if that was the case, then what can they do about it? You know, they might have to take longer to sell all those pins. I do think they will eventually sell it. There is so much uniqueness to the lighting, uniqueness to the UV kit, to the depth, to the different colors used in all the UV, the bioluminescent stuff, right? I think that there will be a before X-Men time, and there will be, as far as unique shots and paths and us seeing a non-traditional Italian bottom, people will talk about pre-X-Men and post-X-Men for years to come. I also think, Mark Seiden, they will talk about you, your rookie achievements on this beautiful game. And I hope that if you love Avatar, you will consider buying this. Because I think that if you absolutely love Avatar and you absolutely love the artwork that is a JJP game, you will not be disappointed with this. You won't. You won't. And if you're not going to sell it for years and years and years, who cares? And if you a location especially in a darker barcade or arcade you probably have to get one of these versions I not telling you not to play it first but think about the money They the one people who maybe don want to wait the three to six months the locations because the locations how much money can they earn If you one of only like three locations in New York City or one of five locations in Chicago or one of three locations in whatever, LA or I don't even know how many pinball places are in LA. Isn't Ace Gogey out there or something? but if you're one of these places that's the first to get uh an avatar you are going to make back the differential of maybe whatever you'd lose if you sold it a year or two later and honestly i think it is revolutionary interesting enough and cool enough and it will draw on enough non-pinball people who just love avatar to try it out just a because it looks so beautiful and b because people especially younger than me are nostalgic for that i think it is worth it on location probably to get one of these bad boys. So I'll leave it at that for now. Obviously, play before you pay. That is the way. Really quickly, I do want to go over the five. And this would be a huge, it's been a tough summer for me. Something really bad happened about a month and a half ago. And honestly, I haven't even been, very few of my even close pinball friends know about it. My non-pinball friends know about it because it affected them greatly. But I will be at some point ready to talk about that not today not on new pinball day I know it wasn't today but not on my very first show talking about a new pin I'm not going to do that and I'm just not really sure if I'm ready to talk about it but y'all listening to the show right now I don't want you to donate anything to my PayPal I don't want you to buy any of my coffee or tea I want you to get yourself a rad collectible at a fair price and help me move some of my product put a little bit more money in my bank account so I can possibly perhaps hopefully get to the 24 hours at the sanctum as well as go to expo and have a rad time so the number one I want to tell you about is x-men 49 now after having two comic book nerds that know way more about comics than me look at it they both agreed with the press this would bump up if not half a spot possibly perhaps one even maybe one and a half which would put it at the eight to nine hundred dollars uh canadian so like 600 us something like that so I did raise back the price and no one bought it so it still does exist until the x-men topper comes out, wow, what a placeholder for, and then after that you just have it up on your arcade wall. Oh my god, X-Men 49, take the time and energy, go take a look at it, is the origin story of Beast, who is highlighted and one of the main characters in Jack Danger's masterpiece, The X-Men. So yeah, if you would like to buy that, it's $420 US, which I believe is around 300, or sorry, it's $420 Canadian, which is around 300 US. I will include free shipping still worldwide, worldwide on that, just because that one's a more expensive one. Some of the other ones we might have to talk if you're ordering it from like New Zealand or like Japan or somewhere in the UK, but still, I would still love to do that, do it with some of these other ones. Okay. Number two on the list, this is for any of my hockey fans. I have a Tyler Toffoli. He's, I'll say, I don't want to go too much straight down the middle here. He's a B plus hockey player. He was really, really good about, you know, his main period was five to ten years ago, or not even that, like three to four years ago, for the Montreal Canadiens, okay? Growing up, I was a big Montreal fan, but he's since moved on, and he's still doing well. He's not getting as many points per game. He's still doing very, very well. He's more of like a, just like a team player, that kind of thing now, but I have his RPA, so his Rookie Patch Auto, but instead of a patch, it's from basically a hockey set so expensive they call it diamond tier and they put an actual diamond and you can see the diamond in the card so it not only does it have a diamond it has tyler to foley's um signature and then to boot it's a one of ten and then to make it even better it's called the alpha which is the very first one so it means other than the artist proof where where the um where it came down and stamped it this was the very first card of ten to ever go out which means most likely it was the very first card that he ever signed. And it's like the highest level that you can possibly get because it's diamond. So Tyler Truffoli would have actually signed this himself. I think I originally had it on my table for like the last year for like 160 Canadian. So I would drop it down to, I would drop it down by 33% down to 120. You'd really be supporting the show. If you're a hockey dad listening right now, giving this to your son for Christmas would be incredible, especially if you love Tyler Toffoli if you're just a collector's person and you want this you can cop this out number three just sold for more than this like 90 days ago or 80 days ago I was looking into repricing it but I just got to move it I've had it there for a long time it is a prized piece for someone in sports cards it's considered the best if it's of course their rookie year and then it's considered even better if they sign it and then it's considered even better if it's like a one of 200 or one of 99 or one of 49 or one of 25 or sometimes, very rarely, even a 1 of 10. And then if it is the first one of the 1 of 10, it's considered even more rare and better. So I would be shocked if you ever, ever, ever got less than 120 Canadian for this, probably like 80 American, something like that. Number three on my list is also a hockey card, and right away I thought about Ryan Barry might want this bad boy, but this is the rarest. Connor McDavid, of course, the captain of our favorite team, Ryan, the Edmonton Oilers. Now Ryan's already supported the show a ton so I would never expect that he would but he might want it. I've had it on my table forever. It is the rarest Connor McDavid card. It's an Opeche in action. So if you just type into Google Connor McDavid Opeche you can just type OPC. You don't have to type it all out. That's actually printed in London, Ontario which is kind of neat. My old hometown. But it is an in action card and this particular card is so rare you cannot find it anywhere on eBay right now. You can't find it on pristine auctions. You can't really find it anywhere. Even Sports Card Investor, I had issues finding it, which is like the main app, which has like over 200,000 cards or something. I had problems finding it graded. So I can find it raw. It sells raw for about $120 to $150, maybe $200 if it looks perfect. This particular card has a surface issue on the back that I can't see or somewhere on the front. Because of that, it only graded a five. But you can see on there, it has it subgrades, like the corners are a nine, the centering is a nine five, I believe, and the other one is like an 8.5, but there's somewhere a nick, like either in the factory or when someone, I didn't pack pull it, I didn't grade it, I just managed, I think I got it in on a trade, but anyways, I'm going to drop that price down to $66 Canadian, so I'm dropping that down by 25%, or 45 bucks US. So I just want to get rid of it. It is a five. I can take it out of that and have it on my table for 120. And unless you inspect it with a jeweler's loop, you probably wouldn't find the nick because I haven't found it in over, I don't know, nine months of having it or something. So anyways, that is the other option. Now we're going to switch gears a little bit into Pokemon. So number four on the list is my shiny Charizard. This is, as far as I know, other than a possibly assigned one, the most expensive Pokemon card to sell that's came out since 2016. In fact, I told you guys before, it's now not the most recent sale of a pristine one, but the most expensive sale of this, not that less than a year ago, the shiny black Charizard, okay? Full art, beautiful card. I have it at PSA 9. I wish it was a PSA 10. If it's PSA 10 or a BGS pristine with all subgrades being a 10, It sold for $13,482. And you can see this on eBay. It's right there. The card looks identical to mine, other than it's either A, centered slightly better, B, has like one less surface issue, or C, sometimes there is just an error. Sometimes just, you know, you might get one grader who's slightly more grumpy. Could be a Monday morning, his girlfriend just broke up with him or boyfriend or vice versa, whatever. You know what I mean? could have just had like just party too hard that weekend just like burnt out exhausted or you could get that same guy on a Friday afternoon that same PSA 9 could be a 10 well the last one that had all sub grades that were 10 sold for 13k do I think this one has all sub grades there are 10s absolutely not the big difference is that one was in English which is always worth way more this one is not even in Japanese which is the second most not even Korean which is the third most I got to be open and honest it's probably the fourth highest valued which is simplified Chinese. Now, Pokemon in China is getting bigger and bigger all the time. In Japan, it's like it's part of the culture. You would see Pokemon or Pokemon-esque figures and advertising on everything there from food to just everything, right? Over here, it's fairly Americanized or I'll call it North Americanized, right? But in China and other parts of Asia, Pokemon are just gaining speed and steam and more and more sets and packs are coming out. So I see this card as getting more and more expensive over the years as more and more people from Asia get into it. Of course, the biggest issue is if I put this on eBay and someone does a credit card return on me and they say, oh, I wasn't home to accept it. I never got it. I could lose that entire amount of money. So that's the main reason why I don't want to put this bad boy on there. I believe the last sale was $495 US. I'm going to have it. Sorry, $495 Canadian. I usually have it on my table for $666. I'm going to do something absolutely insane. I'm going to drop the Shiny Charizard down to $555 Canadian, which is only $60 less than the lowest it's ever, ever, ever sold at. Never mind the highest. The highest this exact one has sold at, even raw, is well over $700. Just raw, without even being graded a 9. And a 9 is near mint mint. Like, you cannot see it. You can't see any whitening on this card. I don't see any centering issues. I don't know why it didn't get a 10, but it didn't. but the point is I'm going to drop it all the way down to $555 shipped and insured anywhere in the world and I will I will have to insure it for 500 for $500 because like if not if for some reason it gets lost or stolen or damaged you need your money back and I need my money back or and vice versa right like we can't just have it being lost so I would I 100% all the collectibles on here I would make sure they were insured so they got delivered but guess what that's not the last Charizard number one on my list is the 2001 hollow Charizard I believe it's number six or number seven on the top 10 most sought after Charizards in the world and most of these are from the first few years right like when you're getting into the hundreds of thousands of dollars you're talking about a first edition PSA 10 uh like you're talking about a first edition Charizard that's hollow which is the best they did they didn't do full art back then and this came from either 1996 1997 or 1998 and then it also graded a 10 which is near impossible because 99 of kids back then were throwing this in and out of a binder we're trading we're talking about it the charizard was the most powerful so you were most likely to play with it in your deck if you played the game and even if not you were showing it to everyone everyone was touching it and holding it and you know the chance of it being a 10 is probably less than one in a thousand like if you bought a thousand of these first edition ones it's less than one maybe one in 800 or something you know but all of them nowadays are beat up. A 10 is so rare. You see 3s, you see 4s, you see 5s. You don't see much better than that. The one that I have from 2001, again, if you want to see pictures of this, either email me at pinballnerds at gmail.com or simply message me, Albert Agar, on Messenger or add me to Facebook if you don't have me. I have been doing some awesome live streams there including my one from the beach where Owen runs and jumps into the water. Albeit, I guess, maybe not illegally but it did say, warning, danger, do not go up here. And I told him, are you sure? Now, his girlfriend lives there. He goes there all the time. He's jumped off the water all the time in the summer. Never in mid-September. That ocean water is ferocity. It's not like quite freezing yet. I haven't seen any icebergs, even though icebergs actually do get down to about an hour from us and be quite often. But he ran and dove off there. And I think over 300 people have already seen that one, which is great. That's part of the reason why had I gone to JJP, that would have been awesome for them. Between my breakdancing video, the video where I did the flip, my in-real-life live stream that we did walking across Candice Longest Bridge in Fredericton, and just a couple of the other live streams. The live stream I did just even from Spin It Records, showing you guys all their awesome music pinball machines there, that one got over 524 hours. So what I'm getting at is if Jersey Jack had brought me out there, they would have got a lot of mileage for the money. They would have got a lot of bang for the buck. They would have got a lot of Orbeez for the orbs. You know what I mean? basically next time Jersey Jack put me in coach let's go John Fogarty me up put me in center field you don't have to put I don't have to be the pitcher I don't have to be the main guy there but I would love to go I think other content creators would have loved to have meet me there and I would have loved to have collab with other content creators to do like a fun live stream a couple different times at this I would have live streamed probably five or six or seven or eight nine times just in the last like month and a half between live streams and podcasts I'm up to I think four and a half thousand listens or views. So Jersey Jack, you would have got some mileage. On your next one, invite me out. I want an invite one time. Let Orby be part of the fun. I'm definitely, of all the people you invited, I'm probably the poorest, so I'm least likely to be able to come out and tour your factory at a different time. And Stern, are you listening? I would love to go there as well. Guys, if you would like to buy one of these, awesome. I didn't finish telling you about the fifth one, but I'll have it down to 200 American. It's at 266, which is significantly cheaper than on my table, 266 Canadian. If you want more information about that Charter at Hollow, let me know. Thank you for listening to me doing my little rant. I have not got any money, any funds, any tea sales, coffee sales, anything since way back my birthday in July there. So if someone listening would be kind enough to buy one of these five things, I'll make y'all a promise. I will not sing on this show again for the remainder of the year till January 1st, 2025. If you hate that I sing on the show all the time, make it so Orby can't sing, buy one of these five. I'm looking at you, Jake Danzig. I'm looking at you, Ryan Barry. I'm looking at you, all the people who love sports cards, who just want Orby to shut up. You want to hear my pinball opinions? You don't want to hear me sing. Put me in, coach. It would be great. I would love to do it. Hook me up. Call me. Talk to me. Let's do it. Let's make a deal happen. And honestly, if you have other cards, like Pokemon and stuff, that you want to put towards doing one of these, let's do it. We can maybe make a trade happen as well. So let's go. Put me in, coach. John Fogarty all the way. I'm not singing this time, though, because my voice is almost gone.
