 Hi friends welcome back to another DanniTeachers. Today we are here with the machine that has notably my favorite back glass of all time which is why I tried to get it mostly in frame, Future Spa. A lovely solid state game and the rules here super simple the video is not going to be that long so I'm going to pad it out by inviting some special guests in but that is for later in the video for now let's talk about our very simple rules here everything is you play it as it is but what i love is the drop targets the drop targets like your spinners for a thousand to spin uh and builds up your bonus x otherwise spelling future at the top spa in the middle to get some bonus built up but um we just try and play it as it is because it's a bit of a cheeky game you've got three no I don't even know how to explain this one little kickback out lane that will kick the ball back into play you've got two outlanes but one with the gate that can open which you get by getting the T or U whichever one is lit up there opens the gate up so then it's not an out lane it's an in lane and then one actual in lane and then a little out hole there. Be reminiscent of Paragon if you have ever seen or played Paragon. Now let's jump into the game, get straight into it. All right we're back in game, we had a few technical issues but it's okay, they're all sorted now, let's get going. So what I'm going to do here is plunge for the T or the U, the yellow arrows to try and open up this gate here to make the out lane and in lane. And you know, I'm just super excited to show off the Spa tier game. Thank you Bug for your appreciation of Future Spa. We now share a mutual love for this game's back glass, so I can't complain. Alright, now we've got our first drop target down. Spinners are lit. Thank you for the slightly worn in rubber for catching the ball there. I really wanted it to sort of get the spinner there for some 1000k spin. Whoa! Managed to get it in through the in lane. Got the 2x. Got the 4x. Can I get the 6x all at once? Now every time I'm hitting those drop targets, I'm also spotting a future spar letter. And that is super important because basically you're building up your bonus x and your bonus at the same time. Ah! Alright. so it was 4x 2000 per letter and we've got quite a few of the gi not working at the minute so i do apologize but um just pretend like they're all working and uh we'll keep playing having some fun in this game you know uh my dad has it in his queue to do a full restore of but uh the day has not come yet he's been very busy with his other tournament tournament hustles since he runs new pinball tournaments and so he's been very busy boy we've had New Zealand champs he's sitting up for our famous October tournament what's going on and New Zealand pinball now ball two we haven't done super good so let's work on getting that bonus X again and once again spotting some letters in our future spa whoa as I totally just flipped the ball into nowhere that's That's okay. So now, that's the thing about old games that I'm not showing off here. Okay, that's okay. So what I was going to say is that with old games, you have a lot of these new players come in and they don't understand old games. Because old games are super different to, you know, modern games like Spookies or like Sterns. It's super simple. All you want to do is keep that ball alive and just go for it. And I can't keep the ball alive, so we're going to start up another game. And let's try for that 6x bonus, man. I'm telling you, 6x bonus is where it is all at. Let's go. Plunge the U. I'll take it. Any letter is a good letter. Where is this going? Straight down the out lane. The outlanes are hungry today. All right. But this is the thing with classics as well. You have to have that resilience and keep persisting. Got my spooky shirt on. I'm hoping that calling that out will give me some good juju and no more drains. Let's get that yellow arrow and it's back down the outlane. Have you ever seen so much outlane action in one game? Never has it been so rough for me. Let's go again to get the T or the U there and our infamous yellow arrow. I totally missed it. Try to get something going. All right, spin is lit. Oh, shook it out of the little ditty there. Backhand the 4x, and we are back in business. And we got the 6x, and we have built up to the 18,000. Really just through spotting our letters, through the drop targets, through the kick out, through the loop. So I've been ignoring my own advice, but here's my hack for this game, right? There's a lot of chaos in this game. It's a wide body, there's a lot to it. wide body meaning that the cabinet is a little bit wider than your standard cabinet. Whoa, let's try to get this ball under control before I continue. Oh, what a save! And what I love about the... It makes it a bit floaty actually having a wide body, but the way I explain it is there's a safety V in this game. Your safety V is your drop targets here. Bang, bang, bang, bang, bang. And then your loop on the right-hand side here. Now the reason for that is it spots all your letters and it sort of serves the ball back into the middle of the game. You can get your spinners and that's cool. Lots of juicy points at the 1,000 to spin. But then the issue is when it doesn't hit the top of the game, the ball sort of dribbles back and sort of gets a bit sad. So I like to try and keep it safe. But once I've got my 6x, I'm happy to go for the risk of the 1,000 to spin. Hopefully that strategy made sense. I sort of speak on the fly when I do these. So I don't really think about what I'm saying as much as I probably should. But you know what? Every video we're trying to improve and get better. So we're at 18k bonus. What I really want to get to is the 36k bonus. And again, I can do that through shooting still that target shot, which I did not get far enough into to trigger that stand-up target at the back of it. Or shoot the loop to spot those targets. because the thing is as well, if you're trying to shoot up the top by the spinners to get your letters, that's what they're called, it's risky, right? You don't know where the ball's going to fall into. You're just hoping that you get those letters, right? Whereas if you get the drop target shot or the other safety V shot of that loop, you're going to automatically get the letters that you need, and I like the certainty of that. So let's try and go for that loop, actually. I haven't had much. Ah, nice. I was going to say I haven't had much loop action. The other thing that I haven't really spoken about, but I should probably, is that there's that drop target, if not target, stand up target in the middle of the play field, which I'll stop the ball, here, called the fountain of youth. And that's going to give you your SP or A letter, your SPAR letters. That's too dangerous. I don't go for that. I'd much rather go for that loop. Build up that loop value. As you can see there, it's on 6,000 at the minute. And just work on it that way. You know, I just, I ignore the thing in the middle. Whenever the thing in the middle is there, I always think it's a lie, you know. The cake is a lie, if anyone knows that reference. Oh, nice, got a juicy extra ball there. I don't normally go for extra ball, but, you know, I'll take it in this game. Any extra ball is a good extra ball in the classics. Let's go for that loop again. Oh, cheekily grazed it there. a bit floaty but you know what i'll take it as long as it's not going down the middle and we're getting closer and closer to that illustrious 36 000 but we got 6x our bonus see it climbing still going and got thank you for the extra ball means that we can try and build towards i liked it like anything over 100k is like a good starting place 250 you're doing really good. 500k is always where I like to be. I always like to try. There's something about 500k on this game that I'm like, I love it. It's just that perfect number. So let's try and reach that by getting our 6x again. Oh, totally missed it, but it's got a letter. You know, that's all right. The kick out there is surprisingly valuable. So if you can try and nudge it out of the out lane and into the kicker, you're on a real winner. All right, let's get that loop. Spot some more letters, whoa, nudge it in, nudge it in, ah, I nudged it out, that's okay, we did not hit the 500k goal, but we still did okay, you know, 262, not mad at that, let's give it one more go, and see what happens, all right, let's plunge it, I'm really hoping this is a good game, I'm like, third time is a charm, here comes the F, all right, whoa, where's it going, where's it bouncing, all right, Target 1, got a nice spinner rip there. Is it going to go into the, no, back into F. Alright, that's alright, got the FU. Haha. Nudge it off into the E. Alright, I'll take it. Whoa! The nice thing to do, because obviously that's a weird, you've got that danger there, right? That little hole, and that pole bumper likes to yeet it down there, but the way I try and avoid it going straight down that thing or sort of nudging around in there to the out lane it's just nudging it off of that spring and trying like nudge it so that it goes anywhere but around there and then you're all good to go something else to be mindful of is if you hold the flipper up and the ball rolls up it can roll off down the out lane it's not so bad on this future spar because it's a bit slower of a future spar um but you know what you've got to be mindful and straight down the outright disappointing showing here from me but that's okay we're here to have fun and a good time hopefully um do not watch me if you're looking to get like the best gameplay in the world i swear my scared stiff was good and then it's all downhill from there as you can see but that's okay uh the spar of the future is punishing all right i've done no good plunges here. I tell ya, I haven't got my bloody in-lane open. I'm just causing chaos, being a bit of a jerk, trying to do anything. Oh, that was very nice of it to put it in the in-lane. Can I get that loop? Ah! This is fine. Alright, I'll take the kick out. Again, it gives me a letter and some thousands of points, and I like it. Any thousands is a good thousands. Got the first target. Got the second target. Down the... Alright, I said it was the last game. Nope, one more game. One more game. I'm like a bad... I'm like a pinball gambler. They're not a gambling device though, as we know. Alright. One more game. One more game. I promise. We'll have a good game. And then we'll bring in our lovely guests for this evening. Got the... Again, I'll take it. let's get those drops or apparently not bounced it into the kickback there it's just not a good showing all right so I'm going to teach you something very naughty do you want to know something naughty if you're having a bad game and you're playing by yourself never do this in tournament it's illegal but if you're playing by yourself and you hate your score and you're like I want to try again just push the start button and it restarts pretend like you didn't see that last ball all right into a new game last game I promise back into the F there very nice into the kickback I'll take it get it then the out lane oh where's the ball going and boom now let's try and backhand it perfect backhand the target back in the target very nice boy into the pops and if it hits that little middle bracket on this particular future spot it usually means it's gonna go into the kickback and I let it bounce off the flipper that's okay we got a two weeks we've got some bonus built up now we need to continue on the roll again not the best showing but hopefully when I bring in our special guests they will be how to show you some extra good play. Alright. Should have nudged it there. I said this was going to be the last game. I promise it'll be the last game and then we'll get on to some more interesting sort of gameplay Let get it going and just stay down the hour lane Alright You know what Maybe it just a sign that I need to bring in our guests And I might play a bit better when they here So let roll that footage Alright, and we are here with some very special guests for some more gameplay. I'm going first and just a note as well because mum and Lincoln just want a bit of help my dad will coach my mum and I will coach Lincoln while they play so you get some more interesting commentary while we keep going. So, I'm going to start up. Let's start by plunging T.O.U. The ball has not come out of the plunge. The ball is in the trough. Alright, here we are in game. All technical errors have been fixed, I promise. And let's start up. I've been assigned first position, so let's go and see how we go. Let's go for T.O.U. again. Very nice. and straight into the drop target and down the side. Rotor Dave I'm calling on you player two, show them how it's done. Yo! You don't want it to go down those holes. Because if it does, it sucks. Right, we've lit spinners. And the spinners right at the end of the flipper. You've got to try your best to get those. Takes a while to dial them in. dial them in and of course Danny's had 20 games and we just come in cold makes us look like clowns here we go here we go hot spinner action or not right spinners are good boom There we go, nicely juiced up spinners, you just have to hit them. I say they are in a real weird place in this game, right on the end of the flipper. Because it is so wide, so wide when we set up the cameras before we had to put them up on a chair to get all the wide body goodness of Future Spa in the frame. Danny says whenever you plunge you always want to go for a U or T because that helps cut down the vacuum like outlanes turns four four into one up you go that shot's also cool right 4x bonus is good one more drop target for six I got future sparred! Right so I'm coaching, I'll coach this lovely lady. Right so plunge hard as you can and we'll try and get where those green arrows are, sorry, yellow arrows are at the top. top and that'll open your gate. Now you turn four outlanes into one or two. There you go. Very good. Oh beautiful. See you got saved straight up the top again. Hit the spinners. Hit the spinners. Oh, beautiful. Yes, one belted. Right, now go for the drops. Here we go. I have no idea what you're doing. Don't you agree that you'd want your Spar of the Future as the place to be? Nice. No swearing on the stream please. We're our lady luck. Alright, here comes young Lincoln coming in for the kill. Let's go. What's your favourite part about this game, Lincoln? He is completely neutral about the Spar of the Future. And for the outline a bit nasty there. That's okay. Once again, I am forced to reckon with my inability to play Future Spar. So let's, again, try and make up for the sadness of those first two balls. Now, I must say, that little not-pop bumper is kind of weird, and it's kind of throwing me off now that I'm in the heat of battle. But we got a 2x bonus going, and we got enough spotted letters that we've got our 18k lit. Let's try and get some spinner action going. I got no spinner action. I have had a severe lack of it, but now we've got 4x. Some more spotted letters there.
