You got to do a soft one, and you can collect either the 25,000, and you get a passenger, or you can go for the 100,000, which is usually better as ball three, because it's worth three times that. It's 100,000 points right now if you get it because it's only ball one. Right. If you get that on ball two, it's times two. And if you get it on ball three, it's times three. I think so, yes. And every time you lock up a ball, you get a chance to plunge that again as well. Yes, exactly. Heck, yes. But you don't, if you get the collect passenger, which is what tips people typically shoot for, you don't get a 3X passenger collect, but you do get 3X for the 25,000, I believe. Oh really? Yeah. I didn't know that. You learn something new every day. Okay, I was going for the spa passenger in a mess. It's tough. But that's okay. It's still money. It's alright. It's still moony. So now what I'm gonna try and do is lock up a ball. I'm gonna get control. Or I'm gonna drain on the airplane. So what are you shooting for right out of the gate? Lock. Rock and roll. Now you get to plunge again. So you can still go for your passenger. Nailed it. So, That should give you Pinbot. Gorby. I like it. Also, my Joyride is Buzzlet. So you'll see Gorby is the inner right loop there, the inner right orbit. Yep. Pinbot has the far right three targets. Marilyn is the middle three drops. Then you've got Drac on the left. There's that little scoopity-doo. And Santa is this really tight shot on the left that is also your Joyride shot and million-point shot if you can combo those ranks. To release your lock, Taxi is a two-ball, multiball? And it's real simple. You just lock one ball, release it on the left ramp. Ramps are super hard because they're really deep. If you don't have a good, great flipper on this game, you almost can't play it. It's almost impossible. I hear that. There we go. I got it. And I got a little fanfare. Bravo. So now what I need to do is go for the express lane number one. So we have a number one lit right here. When she nails that, it's going to light express lane number two. It's timed, so she has to get it in here. And then you have to get up one of the ramps. I think it's the right, the left ramp? Either ramp is a lot of money. So you can do that. You can also keep collecting your passengers in this mode if you find it easier to, like, hit your drop targets. So I missed. So that's okay. A little cradle step away. That's all right. It happens. It's tough. It's a really tough shot. It doesn't count because there was no break period or anything like that. And now to relight my lock light, I have to collect another passenger. There you go. So Drac and Pinbot are both late. So she can shoot that. As you can see there, you've got to have something neat behind the shot going up that left ramp or it is not going to make it. Now my lock is lit again. Oh, creepy. Didn't make it. Oh, it's gifted. So now that she collected that passenger, it lights another passenger. She now has Maryland, which is the three drop targets up the middle, and it is a massive, like, FU right here. Massive FU. Yeah. So it's good to go for... Pinbot's kind of tough too. Yeah. That's why I would rather have pinbot be spotted or... Oh, also another really great trick, if you want to transfer to the left flipper and you don't feel like screwing around with a... Um, comboing out the ranch will eventually like the million shot, but there is one other thing. What the hell was it? Oh, carry passenger. How do you light carry passenger? Pick up Lola or Pinbot. Okay, so here's what happens. When you start collecting these passengers, let's say you get all of them except for Santa, okay? If you drain, you lose all that progress, unless you nail that carry passenger target, which carries them over to your next ball. And that's fine. and it's huge, huge, huge time saving. Let's see what we can get here. My thumb's broken. You're being a little melodramatic. My thumb is not even on my hand anymore. Maybe you need to stop sticking it in your butt. So the, yes, I do. Here we go folks We are on taxi from Williams back in 1988 and here how you blow this game up Alright so before you plunge a few things to note You have a degree of scoring over here in this spin out area When you plunge, as it spins in the cup up here, it's going to progress what is lit. It's going to go up to 5, 10, 25, 50, 75, 100 and then back up to 1. So you want to plunge soft to either get 25,000 spot a passenger, which gives you one of the lit passengers you have on here, or 100K, which on ball one you get 100,000 points. Ball two you get 200,000 points. And ball three you get 300,000 points, because it's a multiplier based on the ball that you're on. Okay? So that's the whole skill shotting thing over there. Then there's the characters you want to collect. So right now we have Pinbot and Gorbachev. Those are always the first two that are like that. There you go. So on the right you got three drop targets. That'll collect Pinbot. This inner right orbit is how you collect Gorbachev and they're indicated here. They'll light up once you've nailed them. Lola or Marilyn, depending on the machine that you're on, are the three banks right here in the middle. Santa and Joyride are this saucer up here and Dracula's here on the left hand side. Once you collect all those, it starts a timed jackpot where you get to shoot the Gorbachev shot one more time. It's a very tight time, so you need to get that ball to the left flipper and up there ASAP There is a two ball multiball in this game So you shoot this tight right what looks like it's going to be an orbit, but it just falls into a saucer It'll hold a ball there physically puts another ball in the plunger which gives you another opportunity To collect a hundred thousand points or another passenger if you can soft plunge correctly puts it up in the top lanes, then it'll light the left ramp, shoot the left ramp to release this ball. You have a two-ball multiball. In that two-ball multiball, you could use that ball to start knocking out some of your other passengers or the proper way that they expect you to play it is there's a number one that's not lit right here where that lock shot is. You've got to put a ball in there. Then you need to quickly get another ball into the Dracula shot. Express lane number two. There you go. These are called the express lanes. Once those balls come out, you now need to just start rocking the crap out of the ramps. Boom, boom, boom, boom. They're worth money. And they are worth a lot of cash. So that's your multiball. There's the Joyride, which you get from just collecting, I believe... It's when your bonus is lit here. Okay. Or when... Yeah, that's it. Okay. So the in-lane light, I believe, will light Joyride. And Joyride is where you collect Santa also. And that is a mystery award and give you a passenger and give you crappy score it could give you An extra ball as crystal seems to be getting all the freaking time Good for her and extra balls collected right here in the Dracula shot. It's a little orange arrow that will light up There is a million shot indicated on the play field here to light that you need to combo the ramps six times So right now we're at 20k if you shoot a ramp then combo It'll go up to 40, then 60, then combo, combo, combo. Then the game will go, ooh, million! And this white arrow will light up. You've just got to shoot Joyride, million points. The physical bell in the back goes nuts, and it's just cast for days. What else are we missing here? Did you talk about the lanes? Okay, there you go. So we've got the top lanes up there that spell C-A-B. Spelling Cab advances your bonus multiplier, okay, which is indicated here. After enough of them, I believe four of them, it gives you an extra ball. Also, every time you complete them, it advances the communal jackpot that is also on the back last year that you can't see right now. It is another readout that is a score that builds and builds and builds, and it carries over to every game. So if this game was sitting here for days and no one ever collected it and people were playing the crap out of it, that jackpot's going to be huge. And then if you could, you know, collect all your passengers and hit that jackpot, I've collected that thing for I think about three and a half million points once and that by itself is a huge score in this game GC on this is nine million right and that's a third of that store Outside of that, you know, just make sure you're trying to stop one your 100k or your passenger Work on your your locks here locks can be stolen So if you lock a ball and it's a two-player game and someone else was good at rocking that ramp You just lost your multiball But yeah, in a nutshell, that's taxi. So let's see what we can do. A great Mark Ritchie machine. Mark Ritchie, awesome. And Python Anghelo's at the art. I feel like we're missing one more thing. We are. So if you hit down, I believe, the Maryland target for the pin bot, it should say right here, yeah, pick up Lola or pin bot to, like, carry passenger target. So right next to the Santa, Joyride, and Million saucer here is a little yellow circle target. This is Carry Passenger. So by knocking down and collecting Lola or knocking down and collecting Pinbot, that will light. And what that does is, as you're collecting passengers, if you get a bunch of passengers and drain, all that progress is gone. Right? But if you collect a bunch of passengers and hit that carry passenger target back there, that progress carries over to your next ball, which is awesome. And it becomes very important if you're trying to blow this damn game up. But outside of that, let's just get into it. One short. It does if you want to be rough with it. because I've got the... I've made Diner just pay out the nose for me because of that trip. So I'm trying to drain, and it's not working. So you see, now we're advanced to 40K. 60. Oh, that would have been good. And our joyride's lit because we went through our in-lane while that bonus thing was lit. So Joyride... And Joyride is timed, so it's not lit for a very long time. It will not stay there forever. It gets like 25 seconds. Also, the passengers with drop targets are also timed. So if you only knock down one target, after a minute, it'll pop back up. So you see how all three of these are back up? You probably can't see that that closely. But yeah, if you don't hit them all down in time... Corby, Draft, and Santa are basically three guys. Or forever. Forever. Forever. Gorby, Drakken, Gorby, Drakken. That was not a ball search, don't worry. It's the Swingshot going up. So we got Gorby. 20k every time you pick up a passenger right out of the gate. And when you collect a passenger, it lights a new one. So now we still have Pinbot, and now we have Dracula over here. That would have collected Pinbot if I didn't spend time talking about collecting Pinbot. All right, there's Pinbot. And now it's going to light Lola or Marilyn, depending on the machine you have. I go for usually spot passengers. Okay. So I can get one of them out of the way, and then when I hopefully get my multiball, worry about all of my other passengers incidentally. Great. And then from there, just sort of see what I got. Now, when you get your multiball, what are you doing with it? I try and go for express lane one, express lane two to get my ramp, to get money for my ramp. You are using your multiball then to do the express link stuff. I am, yeah. Got it. Yeah. That's been how I've been approaching it lately. I've tried to do my change. Sure. I mean, that sounds pretty default, actually. I'm not going to lie. That's probably what I would do. Yeah. Except for, I think I would probably use my multiball, if I'm having trouble with the ramps, to just shoot Gorbachev. So, in a tournament setting, you're going to find people do boring stuff over and over again. Yeah. If you're having trouble with the ramps, I would shoot Gorby all day long. Points, lanes, pops. Points, lanes, pops. Points, lanes, pops. Super mundane, but a great way to just chop that wood and get those points out of there. See, I like the challenge of the ramps. I think it's kind of simple but cool. I don't know. This was the first game that ever taught me basically that there were rules to follow.
