## Analysis

Live stream featuring Flippin' Out Pinball hosts Joel and Ryan playing Star Wars: Fall of the Empire Limited Edition with Raymond Davidson (Ray Day), Stern Pinball's lead software engineer. Ray provides deep-dive explanation of game rules, modes, code design philosophy, and multiball mechanics throughout multiple playthroughs. Discussion covers force missions, character combos, Jedi magnet save mechanic, Vader modes, and difficulty balancing.

### Key Claims

- [HIGH] Ray Day is the lead software engineer on Star Wars: Fall of the Empire, working with Andrew Wilkinson (Wilkshake), a new Chicago-based Stern hire, who tag-teamed the game's development — _Ray: 'lead software engineer, I guess... Andrew has been crushing it... tag-teamed this game'_
- [HIGH] The game is designed to be 'a little friendlier' and 'a little easier to get a billion' than the original Star Wars pinball, but harder than old Star Wars with 20X multiplier — _Ray: 'It should be the normal billion is kind of the goal for everybody... It's probably a little friendlier than that... probably a little easier to get a billion, but it's not like... I'd say it's a little harder than the old Star Wars with the 20X'_
- [HIGH] The Jedi magnet save mechanic requires spelling 'JEDI' first and is exclusive to Premium/LE, with a ball save available in tournament mode when fully spelled — _Ray discusses Jedi save availability on different tiers and tournament compensation mechanics_
- [HIGH] There are eight Vader modes in the game, selectable based on which shot the ball hits out of the scoop — _Ray: 'I think there's eight [Vader modes]... you can pick your Vader mode based on the next shot you hit'_
- [HIGH] The game includes character combo shots (blinking yellow arrows) that provide multiball progression benefits and shot multipliers when hit in sequence — _Ray explains: 'character combos... if you hit them, they'll go from off to blinking to solid. And in multiball, they actually give you progress'_
- [HIGH] Mission difficulty tiers use color coding (currently yellow/cyan/green, planned to change to green/yellow/orange for intuitiveness) with orange being hardest and worth most points — _Ray: 'the harder ones are worth more but there's less blue shots available... I think that's going to change to be more intuitive, so then it's green, yellow, and then orange'_
- [HIGH] A 'Minoc multiball' (throwback to Attack from Mars) is exclusive to Premium/LE and triggered after three mystery rewards — _Ray: 'The Minoc multiball, which is just kind of a silly throwback to Attack from Mars... it's perfect on the premium because the ramp is down'_
- [HIGH] Ray was nervous about designing Star Wars due to the license's scale and passionate fanbase, expressing concern about disappointing them — _Ray: 'I was a little nervous... that's big star power and fans that don't want to disappoint'_

## Transcript

Thank you. I think we're far from pro. Far from pro, but hey. Welcome, everybody. I see, yep, we got audio. We're good. Welcome. Yeah, they should probably hear you, I would assume. Hello, everybody. My name is Joel. This is a flipping out YouTube stream. This is my buddy Ryan. This is not Jared. I know he looks like that, kind of. This is Bizarro Jared. I like the stache, though, Ryan. I like the stache. It looks good. Jared is out of town. Why is Jared out of town? Eternal Weekend. It's a big Magic the Gathering tournament. And so if you've ever wondered about Jared's priorities, it's, you know, kids, magic, and then pinball. So that's fine. So Jared is having fun. Pingo on the top three, he'll take it. Well, maybe. His wife's in there, so there's some other important things, probably job, all that stuff. When it comes to entertainment, I know Magic will take the priority. But, no, it's going to be a good time. Ryan is a much better player than me, but he's only had one game on this. So if I have a chance of beating Ryan tonight, it's going to be in the first few games. But he's going to find the shot. So hopefully, as the night goes on, you guys will see a little more of the game because Ryan's here. And the other good part of tonight is we got that guy right up there. We got Raymond Davidson, the one and only. Ray Day, thank you so much. Thank you so much for joining the stream. Ray, what's your title now? Or what would you say? What is this? What are you to this? Lead software? I mean, yeah, lead software engineer, I guess. All right. Yeah. Now, you shared with me before we started that you're the lead software engineer. But on the Stern streams, there's another guy that's been standing behind you, Andrew, who's also been playing. You said he's a local Chicago guy that's a new Stern hire. And Andrew came in, and basically the two of you guys have tag-teamed this game, which explains why it's so far along. Is that correct? Yeah, Andrew has been crushing it. He goes by Wilkshake in the local scene. Andrew Wilkening, so props to him. Shout-out to him. And, yeah, if you see him in the Chicago area, say hi. Wilkshake. Ray, I forgot I did not send you the stream link. I can try to do that. Or how are you watching it? You're just watching it on the – I think we're okay. But I was just trying to be nice. I'm watching it on Discord. Is that – No, that's great. I just sent you the link directly if you want to pull that up. You're welcome to. What does that do? It's just you'll be able to read it. It's just if you have another monitor, you can read that directly. It's all good. But Blaster, stick shirt. Thank you. Another Roosevelt shirt. It's my other Star Wars shirt. Somebody wanted a Yeti impression. Well, I'll just sprinkle that in at some point in time during the night. And, Ray, if you could do me a favor, can you explain where the airport modes are in this game real quick? Because that'll never die. No airport modes. That'll never die. No airport modes. Yeah. What's the airport modes? That's what I called the modes in Led Zeppelin. Okay. airport modes, which they're actually called, what are they called, Ray? They're not airport modes. They're tour modes. Tour modes. But it always had the plane, so I was just like, yeah. Jared looks weird tonight. This is, yeah, Bizarro Jared. This is Ryan. It's going to be a good time. Yeah, airport modes. All right, I'm going to let Ryan go first. That way I can have the smallest bit of advantage. And, yeah, there is, we're going to play with the normal audio maybe later in the night. I might turn off that. Just if some people want to hear some other audio, because I think some people have gotten sick of hearing that. But it doesn't bother me. I don't know. I mean, Ray, you've heard it more than anybody else. I think the 2017 game played the main theme whenever you were in main play as well. I think it just sounds so crisp and clear. Maybe it's too much of a good thing. Ah, too much of a good thing. Somebody in the chat there said, are you going to add the Cantina song? Do you guys have rights to the Cantina song? Is that going to make it in the game? Do you know? I don't know about rights of anything. I just know we have, for sure, the main theme and the Imperial March. But the main theme also isn't just this part. It's like the whole four and a half minute. So you'll notice in some of the modes you'll hear different parts of the main theme. I know I just heard, what is it, Leia's theme? Like one of the Millennium modes? since Leia's theme kicks in. So there's... Yeah, yeah, part of that main overture, yeah. Okay, so there's a lot there is what you're saying in those four minutes. We can explain as much as we can here early on, but I do know... Oh, there's a few different ways we can attack this, right? So you hit that lock button right there, and that'll light your locks over here on the left. So Ryan only has to hit that loop shot, that far left shot, three times, and he'd be in a multiball. on the premium, he just started a mode, right? Chewbacca mode. Okay, so the Chewie mode happened because he hit enough to stand up, right? Yep. And then hit the starlight. So in the Chewbacca mode, the starlight hit will raise the value of the blue shot. So if he hits that, you'll see it go up with every spin. Okay, so when you're in a mode, blue shots are progression. while white shots just increase the value of the blue shots, correct? Yeah. I mean, the white shots still score some points, but they score points and then add that to the blue shot. It's not absolutely working. So you can kind of take the scenic route or just try to get through the mission. And I do know, I'll try to point it out once I've hit all the force targets, but the missions could be three different colors. So there's yellow, cyan, and green. and it's yeah that might that might change to like green yellow and red or green yellow orange you know it's supposed to be easy medium and hard but like the harder ones are worth more but there's less blue shots available so if you want easier modes that are worth less look for the green guys right now or no the yellow right now it's the yellow guys but it might it might change to the green guys okay that was confusing to me because I assumed green would be the easiest Yeah, so I think that's going to change to be more intuitive, so then it's green, yellow, and then orange. With orange being the... Yeah, the harder one. Okay. I wanted it to be... I was thinking green, yellow, red, but then red is kind of Vader-y. It kind of means its own thing. Yeah. And I know... Okay, did I start... So you started Rebel Shift, droid mode. Nice. Pack in the Death Star, apparently. So now you notice your window is pulsing that corresponds to, like, the droid, like the third one. So in multiball, the droid's target will actually be worth double. So, okay, so of those, there were two blue over here, and then the one in the middle was, so the pulsing one is worth more, you're saying? Oh, no, I was talking about the window inserts above the lightsabers. Oh, geez. He has this one. Yeah. Oh, okay. So he's got the Chewbacca one pulsing. So when he gets on the multiball, any jackpot on the Chewbacca ramp will be double. I would have never guessed that corresponds at all. Yeah, I got you. Yeah, so you're saying that's OB1, that's Leah, that's Chewbacca, so it's just left to right on the inserts. Yeah, but luckily when you're in the multiball, you'll actually see the Chewbacca insert itself kind of flash to remind you so then you don't have to line up the inserts. The inserts are just for progress to show you what you've done. So any modes you've played, they're 2x. Any modes you've completed, they're 3x. And also when you're in modes, you'll notice, so there's actually three different types of shots. There's the white arrows, the blue arrows, and then there's actually fast flashing blue arrows get to work double, so. Oh, that's, there you go, hey! What? Magnets, man. Magnets. That was sick. I tell you, it works really well. Once you figure out the timing, yeah. Somebody in chat, Ryan, said, let Ryan know we still expect Magic the Gathering talk from him, so. Good luck. I was sold on the I was like you gotta go premium or Ellie on this that magnet is genuinely so much fun I was hoping I would not have fun because that's going to be expensive that magnet is so much fun alright someone explain no Tom he figured it out he figured out the magnet I just magically plopped it on my flipper so the magnet is basically right under where the ball is. So, like, if you... The magnet's right... So if the ball's coming down here on the left, if you hit it, like, right before it gets to the ball, it'll pull it so fast that it'll pull it all the way over. So you kind of... Yeah. Or if it comes down from the right, you want it to go past it, it'll hit the wall and then pull it, and it'll pull it up. It's crazy. It's awesome. Has that... Do you know, Ray, was that feature in there, like, a long time? or, I don't know, did you? Yeah, I mean, that was pretty early on. I think originally it was just going to try to throw it back up the middle, but then Borg found that he just removed that extra lane on the right that was sling over there. He thought that was really cool. He put a shot multiplier on the center ramp and you've heard lightspeed before I could explain to build it, but that's okay. You build it with the yellow arrow, right? Right. But now that you're in the next ball, you hit three jackpots, and that lightspeed's in there for lupin supers. But if you can hit more than three, you can get even bigger supers. Since you have the shot multiplier, you can get a little rebel circle. So this is lupin supers. Yep. which if you can get them, I had it last week where you basically get one and then you get the other. Wow, so it's $13 million a shot because you hit four jackpots and you had the hit a dot doubler on there. But you didn't get your add-a-ball. The add-a-ball is actually pretty easy. You just hit the starlight bit. Oh, okay, okay. So right now, this is what we're saying. So I've hit enough of the force targets to start a mode. If I do a yellow mode, there's a lot of blue shots. If I do a green mode, there's a few less shots. If I do a cyan mode, there's, like, one shot. Is that right? Right. Okay. So let's go Leia. I do like that I can backhand that. So I need the training wheels. So you can see I got four shots here. What you're saying... This is one of my favorite scenes, the Death Star jailbreak scene. But this is lit. This is flashing. so you're saying that's worth more? Yep, that'll be worth double. It'll also light a shot multiplier because the bumper is red right now. So when you hit it, it'll light your shot multiplier. There you go. There you go. Just nudge it into it. And now your next shot will double it. So you can double, like, the loop buck or the layup shot. There you go. And then this is the – the mode's always in that loop, right? Yes. All the modes end at loot. It's just a good way to stop the ball, show the player, and then you know you're kind of ending the mode. Good idea. Nice. Nice. Yeah. No, I do like that. I do like that a lot. Looking for wireless headphones. It's not in there yet. It's not in the code yet. So you can keep looking, but you're not going to find it. Okay. Okay, so what's... So Vader right now is just a mystery mode, right? It's because it's not all red? No, no. Right now you have your Vader mode lit. The mystery is actually above it where it just glows kind of red. Oh. Okay, so this is a Vader mode. Or, so we're saying if I hit that, it's a Vader mode. If I hit this, I'll start one of the Java modes. Right. Otherwise, now what? Explain why these three yellow inserts are glowing. What's that about? Those are the character combos. So anytime you hit a shot, it blinks a bunch of shots yellow. And if you hit them, then they'll go from, you know, off to blinking to solid. And in multiball, they actually give you progress. So if, like, in Death Star where you need 15 jackpots to get to the super, any jackpot that has a 20 character will count as two jackpots. or three kinds of facts with solid ones. Okay. Same with Battle of Hoth, you can get to the AP AP super faster. The rules sheet describes it as the rebel assistant. Okay, so I beat a Leia mode. So I see Leia is lit, but it's just a little darker. It's hard to see on camera. So you're saying if I could do another Leia mode and it's worth double, but it doesn't give me more progression towards the rebel missions. Is that right? Right, yeah. So if you're trying to get to the wizard modes, yeah, you'd want unique characters. Also, the benefit of doing unique characters is you have more shots that are multiplied. So now in this Battle of Hoth, you're going to have some really big jackpots because you've got, you know, Leia shots, trickles, and then your pop is double and your droids is double. Because I'm not hitting anything. There we go. Get 10 stings while you're at a ball. You suggest what do I you're saying starlight pit for edible? Yeah. Is that for all multiples? Oh. Yeah. Come on, show a little bit of control. You can see the layout blinking white just to remind you that that shot works more. Dude, you can't. I didn't hit any shots. I didn't hit any. Ray, it's a skill, okay? That was actually really sad. Sad. Sad is not the word. That's sad. Oh, and you missed the last one. It's not, okay. Yes, that was sad. Sad is the right word. Sad is the right word. What I do like is you were saying there after the multiball is over, you get one shot. Not one shot, but the Luke is lit for what? Is that like a cash out or is there what's all sitting there? It's a super jackpot. Okay. It's whatever your super would have been had you got there. If I would have hit a few shots. Yeah, really sad. definitely cool for the flipping out screen poster. Yeah, that's, I mean, Ray's been on this stream before, and you know, I think he knew. I think he knew what he was stepping into. Well, I think you do better not when you're trying to talk and process information. I think you have to process and talk now, and then when you're in the game mode, you do really good when you're just, like, locked in. When you can focus a little. Who would have guessed that screaming pinball while trying to carry on a conversation, it takes a little bit of mental capacity. That's why I don't understand why you, Ray, can, like, wizard-mode games while you stream, and Carl D'Python Anghelo can wizard-mode games when he streams. It's just... It's, uh... Yeah, so see he has the little yellow one? So they just timed out. Yeah, for the combo. For the combo, okay. Yeah. So the combos, they're good points, and they also, like I said, they help you in multivolve. They go right up in the log. So this is what Ray's saying. If you hit yellow shots, it'll build the value. Oh, yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Bad advice. Well, I got excited. That's okay. So there's actually a second chance to build. So once you hit three shots, so right now it'll light the super, but you can keep hitting more shots if you want a bigger super. I gotcha. So there's actually, it's like build inception. So there's building at the beginning, which builds how much each of these are, and then each of these builds the super. So the super's lit right now at the middle, correct? Right, but he can also just hit more shots and increase the speed. Which he just did. Now his super is probably like 8 mil. And you run out of time, yeah. Do that, okay. So what I'm seeing, Ray, is you were shooting for a little bit of risk-reward here. I think you got a lot of risk-reward built into this game. Do you want to just start this, or do you want to build it first, right? Yeah, yeah, but I mean, there's really, it doesn't force it on you, so you can just play it and have fun, which is good. I think people got very confused with all the colors and records. Yeah, your records, yeah. So he started, which mode? You started a droids mode, so, yeah, you can backhand this shot. I had a loop shot. that's definitely a yeah. What are we talking about? Any giveaways tonight? I don't know. I haven't seen Zach hop in the chat yet. Yeah, you'll have to wait on the premium expression light accessory. They're unique to Star Wars. Oh, somebody tried to use a different expression light? Is that what they said in Juno? Yeah, but it should be coming soon. Yeah. You can hit light. Oh, yeah, yeah. Luke's shot will be multiple. There it is. There we go. Battle of Hoffs. All right, so in this multiball, each green arrow, you hit one and it lights the AT-AT for a double-tap spot, and then you hit two and it lights the AT-AT and hits two. So there's one of the letters in APA team. So now you have to hit two, you're saying. Okay. So that should be his second letter, T, right? Yeah. Right up the middle is yellow. What's right up the middle, Ray? So that's hyperspace loop. It's kind of like a side mission just started from you hit the right ramp five times and it lights the hyperspace loop. So it's just a little side mode where you can loop up the middle for 30 seconds and then cash out on the right ramp. Okay. Ray, we're all rooting for you. Off to a great start with this one. Zach, you are correct. Ray, I mean, I know you're not new to this whole coding pinball machine thing, but to be put in the driver's seat and given this license. Yeah, right? oh yeah so that the hyperspace is like if you know you have 30 seconds and so it's like how much you want to risk building it before you cast out on the right ramp right now it's not it's not worth actually very much right now because i was really worried about it because you know shooting up the middle like i didn't want people to just get like a bajillion points for hitting one shot but it'll be worth more in the future right now it's kind of just like not really worth... Sadly, not worth going for, but... So he started another... This is another Falcon feature, is that correct? Is it Haunted? Yeah. I believe that's what these Dion arrows... Yeah, he's in... That's No Moon, I think. Yep. He got an achievement, that's why I looked up. So he played the multi... Oh! I'll try to read that. Yeah, you have to remember that. I wasn't ready for it. That was good, though. That was good. Ray, what I was saying, though, is, like, for you to be given the driver's seat of this game, and it be Star Wars, like, were you excited about that, or is that, like, super daunting? I mean, that's quite a license. Yeah, I was a little nervous. that's big star power and fans that don't want to disappoint. Are you kidding me? That was supposed to hit the left slipper and it did not. So, sick ball. Oh man, Jonathan's Palace could have been a lot of points. Yeah, if you stack that with a multiball it's like a party. Every shot is worth a lot. That wasn't ball three, was it? Oh, for whatever reason... Okay, I need to stop that. Stereo is playing for some reason. Gave Stereo some instructions. I think my wife accidentally played that. Alright. That's not a bad game one there, Ryan. What's your goal? Ray, where are you hoping people fall score-wise into all this? I mean, it should be the normal billion is kind of the goal for everybody. Billion's a good game. It's probably a little friendlier than that, if I'm being honest. It's probably a little easier to get a billion, but it's not like... I'd say it's a little harder than, like, the old Star Wars with the 20X or whatever to get a billion. Yeah. So there's no 40X multiplier in this, is what you're saying? No. And is there any mode that I have to rapidly tap the action button? No. Okay. Okay. I was throwing the ball around earlier, and I already saw there's a mode in here that kills the flippers, and I love that. Any mode that you hit a shot and it kills the flippers via moment is awesome. So I'm glad you built one in. Yeah, that was one of my, I tasked Andrew with making sure it killed everything and it's super epic and cool, and he made it super epic and cool. And he was like, wow, that was kind of hard. And I'm like, yeah, that one, that's the reason I get it. Oh, DJ, hoping to find a topper for turtles. I'm pretty sure Zach has those in stock. Just saying. Okay, this is my game. Ryan sucked on ball one. Here we go. Terrible. Let's hope for good things here. I like going up the middle while the ball stays on because get that ramp up. Yeah, I mean, you can also just hit the right ramp instead, and it'll raise it for you so you don't have to hit the ramp when it's down. Yeah, that shot is a pretty reliable shot. All right, let's see if we can get these Zestar locks. There we go. Get that spinner spinning so I can get my security here. Ray, with force targets, when you hit the same force target, it's already been hit. Does it give you credit for more force targets? The first mode, yeah, so you hit any of the five targets and it'll actually spot you two. Two, okay. I thought that was the last one. So it'll spot you the one you hit plus one more. Gotcha. Yeah, and then it gets harder based on how many different windows you have. So early on, it's like impossible not to start a force mission. Right. It's kind of the goal. Okay, so I have my eye on Cannon Lit So Luke is always a smart move Right? Because all your You finish every mode on Luke I mean, is that the go-to? Or is there I mean, I would probably do the droid target But Luke is good too So the droid is your double jackpot in Well, I just hit the droid's branch And you got it Yeah, clearly I was aiming for that So if you play Hoth now, you're going to get some big APH points because you're going to have the droid doubler and the shot multiplier as well. What am I doing? I was thinking about going Leia, but... Oh! I thought that was in. Leia can hit. Droids is terrifying. Droids is not a nice target. It can be real mean. Can I hit a shot, please? Nice, there you go. Ah! I had two tries on the magnet. It went too fast. Now, what's interesting is, for how fast that ball drained, I would have been tempted, especially because it's ball one, just don't even try the magnet, because you use your Jedi letter every time you press the button. So if you wait until it's all the way, then it will do the super strong save where it's like a guarantee to save the ball. Oh, it might fill up Jedi all the way. Right. So if you see one of those screamers that is like so fast or, you know, you hit the button out of frustration, it's like, well, you're actually costing yourself. So you kind of have to decide whether you want to use your mega pulses. What, if I would have been on the pro, what would it have done when you just had J-E spell nothing? Right. Okay, so you only get the ball saved when you fully spell Jedi. Right, right. So in tournaments and stuff, it's going to be exciting when you're on ball three and you only have J-E, and you outlane and you're like, okay, I have one shot to save this, so I can get the button. Unfortunately, that's not what you're going to do. That's pretty cool. I really don't want them... Please, tournament directors, do not disable the Jedi magnet. It's so cool. That's the whole point, yeah. And there's compensation. So in tournament mode, when you spell Jedi all the way, it'll put a ball save on too. So that way, you know, you can't complain that it hoes you. It'll basically be like the pro, but with the bonus that now you have the JE save available. so this mode right here he has to do orange shots first right oh i'm telling you man the deztar or the those two if you you got to be prepared you got to be prepared that's saved though doesn't that feel awesome that's so cool all right that was like so powerful it almost like yeah that was a strong one Dude, I... The force is strong. The force is strong, yeah. Come on, hit the... Okay, so this is... Because I'm pulsing red. So I would... Yeah, your bumpers will light a shot multiplier, so I would maybe get hot one way and then hit the bumper and then hit the droids and then start hot. If you want to try the wombo combo. The wombo combo. There's a multiball that's unique to the Elite. or the premium, right? The... All right, all flyers lit. Get that droid. Don't hit anything. Thank you. This is terrifying. Yep, okay. Woo-woo! You got it. You nailed it. Okay, looks good. Yeah, so you just got a mystery reward. So after you have three mystery rewards, you get the Minoc multiball, which is just kind of a silly throwback to Attack from Mars. and it's perfect on the premium because the ramp is down, so it acts just like the saucer on Attack from Mars. Oh, come on. That was the loop shot. That should have been a gimme. Can I just not be sad in front of Ray? I don't want to make Ray sad anymore. All I'm trying to do is... Wow, that was a powerful backhand. There we go there we go That was great That made me happy Joe And then I missed a shot And I just This is good Well, you lit a force mission. Can you do... I can do a force mission and Hoth at the same time, right? Yep. There it is. First time. There it is. Okay. Nailed it. And remember, if you hit the starlight pit, it'll light your button for add a ball. Oh, it was a hit. You can see on the display that Starlight's going for Adaball. So maybe prioritize that. The more shots you hit before hitting the droid target, the more your droid's going to be worth a lot of points because you've got the mode and the ion cannon multiplier. So aim for droids now, or...? Yeah. I got my Adaball, so if I... Come on. Now I can't hit droids. I'm down to two. There it is. There you go. There we go. One shot away on Luke. That's not addable. There we go. Okay. I beat my... No. I thought I beat my mode. I thought I had. Well, it's lit now. There's a progress bar on the screen, so yeah, you got four out of five. Where's the progress bar? Oh, there is a progress bar. Thank you for that. One goal. I know. 22 million for that droid park. There we go. I hit my shot. I did not realize there was a progress bar. Okay, so is this because that's the end of Hoth? Is my moose shot going to be hit? Or lit for... Yeah, there it is. Here's my... Come on. I need the ball on the left flipper. Last chance. Three, two, one. Got it! Yes! There you go. Happy, right? All right, look at the AT-AT. Here it comes. Oh, you have the little AT-AT camera. Nice. I saw it, yeah. He bowed. Boom. Okay, so I got Java modes ready. I got Vader modes ready. Here we go. Back in all day, right? As I do that. Woo! Ah, that's... That was good. Yeah, yeah, yeah. We'll just ignore that last part. Okay, where's the progress part? I'll show you. Next time you're in a mode, look right here. And you'll see it. You executed very well on that multiball. And the Java mode, not so much. Not so much. But, yes. All right. All three. 23 million. Where's Mr. Zach Menes? Out and about? I don't know. He's a busy man. I don't know. I know he's going on vacation next week because it's fall break. All right, so if he starts a mode, which he has. There, look right here. So it says 45. You'll see as he hits those shots, that'll go up. Or he doesn't hit any shot. That's this game, man. That's me. And that's the first time I beat Ryan. Yeah. Tonight. Woo! Crushed him. Joel Bob and Joe Bob. Don't get me. Wrap up. Yeah. It's because I got coached. Okay, so Vader modes. Let me hit a Vader shot here. Or attempt to. You can pick your Vader mode based on the next shot you hit, right? I didn't get to play it. Isn't that how that works? Yes. Okay, and how many Vader modes are in there? I think there's eight. Wow. You can redeem yourself very quickly. All right, all right, all right. Here we go. Eight modes. So that's, I always find, because the way the ball shoots out of the scoop, I try to get it under control and I normally hit one of the pop bumpers. So I end up playing the pop bumper mode a lot. Yeah. Definitely a popular mode, but it's fun. It's kind of fun. You're kind of forced to hit the pop bumpers, and it makes for some interesting tension. Yes. So you're saying that the... And if you want, you can actually time out the Vader mode. Like, when it's selecting, if you don't hit anything for a while, it'll just go away. And it'll do a different mode, or you won't do a Vader mode at all? It'll just not... It's kind of like Ambush on Mandalorian. It's just like, oh, I'm not interested in a Vader mode right now. Okay, so you don't have to be stuck doing one if you didn't really want to. Right, because I think in Vader mode, I don't think you can play a multiball. So if you have multiple lit and you fall in the scoop, you know, you can just kind of wait it out. Come on. You got to get Jedi lit, right? Yeah, I didn't have it. He did. He had J. He almost saved it. Wait, J doesn't give you one push for the button, does it? No, no, you need two to get two. Yeah, there's a minimum of cover charge. It went so fast off the outline that it bounced back up close to my flipper. That was no magnet. Yeah. Oh, that was no magnet? No magnet. Oh, wow. Well, there's a little piece of metal that he added. That's true. To help. Yeah, it came off of that and almost came back up. Yeah, no Marc Silk bob. Marc Silk bob. You know, it's in the game. It's just not. It might just be in the coin box. That's all. All right. enabled. Let's go, Han. Or not. Let's go stand up next to Han. And I am grateful that you have that little ball save. That little bit of ball save there. Went on the scoop. Okay, so that was the yellow mode, so I got a lot of blue targets. And my button's lit, so I have the ability to try to save it. There we go. Nope. There it is. Joel, you don't need a magnet thing. You can just shove the ball back and back. Everything's fine. Everything's fine. Yeah, you put a crazy good guy on this game, Ray, with no... So Bob and I, yeah, they could play all night, but... Not us. Not us. I'm just trying to show off more of the game for you guys. All right, let's get a blue shot. That was a blue shot. I think I'm one shot away from beating that mode. I need to get it to loop. There it is. All right, so my Han mode, now I can focus on that. but you were saying if I would have hit more cyan shots I could have increased the value of these right and this will time out after about 10 seconds maybe a couple seconds left ok so now you're back to hitting jackpot once you get free it'll light the center again There it is. The spinner's lit. Come on. Nope, that's gone. Whee! Sneak one in. I love that ramp. I do. Did I start another mode? I did. That's a multiball into another mode. But I have no multiplier going. Was it hard picking which scenes were going to be modes when you started storyboarding all this out? There was, I mean, we had Mike Minotaur go through all three movies, and he's like the biggest Star Wars fan, and he just started making clips of everything he thought was cool that he'd like to see in a pinball machine, and then we kind of organized everything by characters. And then when we went to pick missions for the characters, we picked the best three, the most compelling three from each. But, yeah, that was a process for sure. And you said there's 24 modes? Is that right? No, you've got the super button now. Okay, so I still have to hit the button to save the ball, but I don't have to time it, right? Like, it just works? Or do I have to hold it down? Well, you have to time it in the fact that, like, the ball has to be near the magnet when you hit it so that it can grab the ball. Okay. But, um... Yeah. Is there a tap versus a hold with it, or is it just, like, you press it once and it saves it? No, there is no hold mechanics in this game. Okay. Because it's confusing. So if you have, like, Adaball it and your Jedi save, it'll do Adaball. If you have Jedi save, it'll do Jedi save. If you're picking a mode for your Starlight Pit, it'll pick the mode. Okay. I want to fall into the... Ah! No, it found it! It, like, grabbed it on the lip! Ah! Oh, yeah. Borgi was warning me about that. So when it comes from the right, you actually have to let it bounce off the bottom, like the apron. Like, you have to wait for it to bounce off the apron and then press the button, and then it'll grab it from the bottom. I guess something about magnets. It somehow magnetizes itself to the apron. Oh, it makes the – oh, the apron. Like, it magnetizes the apron is what you're saying? Yeah, it does. It does something weird. But so because normally, you know, you're saving it from the left or down the middle. The right doesn't always do that, but it can. So sometimes you'll want to. It's better to wait for it to bounce off the apron or at least let it go. It's scary, right? Because it looks like you're waiting for it to drain. Yeah. But it'll always hit something and let you save it. And there's a ball save compensation for that. I think it's turned off by default, but you could turn it on if you want. But I think it's more fun to try to tighten it. So you're saying you could, being that it knows that I failed that, it would have kicked out a ball? That's the ball safe compensation? Yeah, basically it would just, like, when you hit the button, it would instantly put a ball safe on. Ah. No, I like it. The magnet's in there. You've got to work the magic of the magnet. Now, the other thing is, if it fails like that, you still keep three of your Jedi letters. So it doesn't use all your Jedi letters. It just uses one. And so you could have actually, and you might have on accident, you might have ended up using them anyway. You could tap it, is what you're saying, to try to use. Yeah, so it's, like, sometimes it'll grab it, but, like, if it's moving too fast and it's, like, wobbly and then it, like, throws it up and it just misses the slipper, you can try to hit it again and try to get it to go up. Okay. I'll have to look on mine. So the blue shot over there, he just finished the mode, and now he's got green shots. The mode window multiply multiball jackpot, just multiball jackpot. The character yellow shots give extra multiball progress. Oh, okay, okay. So if he hits any green shot besides droids, which he just hit droids, that was his jackpot. and now he has to hit like two or three to light the droid's turn. Thought maybe I got the animal. Does the magnet, if the ball's going straight down the middle, does the magnet still work? Does the magnet work at any moment or it has to detect an outling switch first? It'll work at any moment. Yeah, you can use it whenever you want. I mean, it'd be pretty hard to save it down the middle, but if you had it all the way spelled and you did it soon enough, you could definitely save it down the middle. Or if you have, like, an epic slipper fumble, like right now you're in the perfect setup. If you slipper fumble down the middle, the ball would probably hang out down there long enough for you to send it somewhere. Okay, yeah. Is there a different color for the ball save for Adaball whenever? Green. Okay. Yeah, the button's green. Green. All right, so... Hoth I've already played but I could get is there a like a version 2 Hoth I assume now Hoth is just the same you know spell AP AT you know AP AT well I've already played a mode so I have to hit I have to hit the two force targets I haven't hit yet right yeah cause you played two different modes so yeah There you go. Nailed it. Yeah, no problem. You also got Darth Vader mode ready to go, too. Well, now you don't, but... That's all I have yet. 17,000. Come on. The ram shot is not a gimme. Like, you gotta hit it clean to get it to go all the way back. As I've hit it three times now, sure. There we go. Leah is not lit. Luke was dangerous. Chewie is also dangerous. So let's go Obi-Wan. All right, now we can see if we can backhand. There it is. Nice. Oh, it's final shot. Now the Han missions are unique because all of his awards are hurry-ups. You can see the countdowns are more time-sensitive. Oh, you're saying the white shots are hurry-ups? All the shots. If you look at the screen, you can see the numbers they're counting down. Okay. All right, so that's two modes. Is that right? What's the Vader mode? You've beaten three modes, actually. You're three for three. Never a doubt, right? No. I need to get in that Vader mode for sure. Can I get into it? Oh, no. Never a threat. Never a doubt. That was nice. Okay, now I've got to get the ball under control. Do you have a favorite Vader mode? One of these shots I should prioritize before it goes right into a pop bumper? There it is. There it is. Hey. That's what I'm saying. Well, the good news is once... Oh, that actually is really good. That multiplies your entire Vader mode. by hitting the scoop. So now your bumpers are going to be double. Got it. Move the game. Now, that would have been, a magnet would have saved that. I had time. You had the full power. I should try that. I haven't tried a straight down the middle, like, magnet save. Yeah, I know. That was like a perfect chance. That would have been the time. That would have been the moment. Yeah. Get the banana combo. All right. You got a little bit to come back, Brian, but I believe in you. So the good news is next time you play Vader, you won't be able to play the pop bumper mode. Oh, thank you. All right, so he's in a Han mode here. He's played hot. There it is. Oh, right up the middle and you got the multiball. Okay, so he's got a multiball going. Oh, and he's got the dot multiplier on him. see that little rebel circle. But people are going to be... Right, Sam, he's got that lit right up the middle, so he's... Alright. So now this is where you can finish your mode on the left, and then you can just keep shooting right up the middle over and over. Which is awesome to, like, lose. Ooh, get back there. Nope. My cat has decided to join us. What's your cat's name? Simba. Simba? Yes. Hello, Simba. Come on. I'm trying. He always tries to kill me. Two seconds, yeah. And you didn't fight down. All right. So your mode's done. So now just try to start comboing up the middle here. Oh. Oh, I see. So... Oh, you haven't had it. You'll find that timing. You'll find it. And when it does, when you find that extra button timing... Ooh, baby. Okay. I'm no-go on invader mode. I can try for Death Star where I gotta light... I gotta hit a lot of force targets. You've activated the multipliers. Uh, nope. Yeah, I have to take him to the vet tomorrow to get him neutered. You're not going to be too happy about that? I'm not too happy about it either. I think I'll get up at like 7-1. All right, I think I just started another... There it is. It's letting it go off. Nice. Now it's going to throw it. Be nice to it. Yeah, look at that. There we go. There it is. That's the big save. Good job. And it only used one letter. That's great. It should have used all of them. I'm not sure why. That's interesting. Should I be hitting this yellow shot? Wait. Was that a save from an out lane or from a center drain? Out lane. Well, I'll have to try that. I'm just going to keep hitting the yellow shot of the middle. Because it feels good and it's... Yeah, so in that mode, just keep going yellow shot right up the middle, I assume? Yep, and then try to hit the right ramp before the timer runs out to cash out. Oh, I was building. That's what it was. I was building it. I thought I was doing something, but no, I got to hit that ramp. Well, you got four and a half million out of it, which meant your right ramp was lit for nine million. So, like I said, that mode's not worth a lot right now, but it'll go up. In the future. Okay. So what mode did I just start? I'm in a multi. Oh, this is the, okay, this is where they want me to turn all my lights off. Yeah, I remember. Sorry. There we go. So just keep right up the middle for eight more shots. I can't play that ball. Is this... This is time, right? Oh, so it does end... It does end when the multiball ends. That's cool. That's cool. Alright, I would love some... You have another Vader mode list. You also have your Java mode. Vader mode. Little moot. Little moot. Okay. So not the pop bumpers. Which one do you recommend? Little moot. It's just a good... Everything's fine. I don't know if I recommend it. Just pick one. They're all good. Yeah. It's good. Ah. All right, so I'm three for three on modes, but I don't know who all I've played. I haven't played droids, I know that. That's awesome. Man, you're a pro. Okay, everyone needs to just go to Joel and say, I have any questions. That one was way too fast to save, and you still found a way. That was sweet. magnets are that brings me so much joy because I feel like you actually earned the ball stick yeah I like it sorry Ryan I can buy this game now now you know you gotta go you gotta go premium I'm gonna need a premium that magnet is so great no I don't I've made no decisions. Ryan's a pro type. Ryan's a pro buyer, though. Like, typically. I'm not afraid of pros. I'm not afraid of... But you are... He owns a pro Godzilla. That's rare. Because it's better. Because it's better. The only LE... I think Godzilla is a great game, yeah. Doesn't your dad have Led Zeppelin LE? Yeah. Alright, this is fun, Ray. This is, uh, I don't know, you're four games in, five games in, Ryan? What are you thinking? Not five games. This is number four, isn't it? Okay, four. I thought five, one. What do you think? Uh, yeah. The code sucks, yeah. It's good. What do I think it is? I like the shots. There's a couple fun shots in there. I don't know. I'm still getting the hang of what the heck I'm doing. Mm-hmm. I like the ease of some of those multi-balls and bringing them into things. There's a lot to do. What I do like is I don't feel, Ray, I don't feel like I'm ever chopping wood. Like, the fact that I can play a mode and then be like, oh, I got a Jawa mode I can go for. Yeah, that was part of our main goal was you're kind of always secretly working towards stuff in the background. so you'll probably have something ready at any moment. Yeah, you've got a Vader mode. You've got, there's always something right there at your fingertips. Like, he's already prepared for a mode here. So he did a droid mode because he missed that target. Unfortunately, he drained. I'm trying to hit Yoda over there. I'm checking out Yoda. Oh, no, my cat is eating the microphone. I'm sorry if you guys heard. I hear that, no. All right, I am going to focus on the Death Star this game. That is what I'm getting. I got to Death Star Multiball last week, and it's going to happen again. You almost beat it. You were so close. You kind of extended to light the super and then not, also not hit it for 30 seconds, and it unlit. I'm telling you, Ray, it's a gift. It's a gift to just live in the land of the post. But I do like, I mean, the fact that modes start on targets, I'm like, dude, I'm qualifying modes off to the right, you know? Yeah. Well, the target, I mean, when you're mixing, at least you're qualifying modes. Yep. Where am I? Here we go. One second. Wonderful. That was dangerous. I don't have my stuff ready. Aw. It's okay. It's all right. What's his name? The robot dude that Lando wakes up. He's got to have his name. Somebody in chat will know. Robot guy with the weird head ear cover thing. Chat, don't let me down. I know somebody will know. Or wait. My cats love eating plastic. Your dogs like eating plastic too. What is that? They love it. Lobot? Is that right? I got to Google it. Lobot. Everybody. Okay. Simbot. That's nice. All right. Lock two is ready. There you go. Got it. Oh, but Gil lost the ball. So he didn't have to actually lock the first one, because Joel locked it for him. Oh. Who did? What? Al? So will that, do you think people go virtual locks in for tournament play on the Death Star? Well, yeah, for tournaments, yeah, basically what would happen is you'd lock your ball and it would spit it right back out. But, yeah, for a normal play, it handles it just fine. It just means that he didn't have to actually lock the first one. Oh, so tournament mode, the mouth of the Death Star is still open. It's not just a bash toy for a virtual lock. Like Groot, his mouth just stayed closed all the time, right? No, they had a virtual lock for Guardians 2 where you'd lock the ball and it would spit it back out, but nobody ever turned that setting on for some reason. They just disabled the motor, which you can do on this game too if you want. You can disable the motor and then it would just be a bash toy. Hey! Magnet fan. That's awesome. Did you see? Everybody saw it, right? Everybody just saw his face knowing, crap, I got to get a premium or nothing, dude. That magnet is, it's legit. I don't know. I know. You'll have to see who sets up the games at Expo, Ray, that would possibly turn off the magnet. That's cool. Who do you have to talk to to keep that from happening? You see that? The scoop shot it all the way and then Lazarus off the back there. Don't raise your flipper. I'm trying to catch it with it. No, I've let the... Yeah, yeah. All right, still there. Don't complete it. I don't believe you that, god, you suck. I saw the whole, that ball could not have made it more around that ramp when it decided to come back down. Could not have done it. Wow, this is awful. Yeah, game three, yeah. So Ray, okay, you're like, okay, Ray, you're on Star Wars, no pressure. Did you, when you started doing the layout of the code, was the game, like, did you already have a physical layout, or were you brainstorming before John had, like, dialed in all the shots? Like, how do you even start to tackle that? I mean, it always starts, you know, John started with the layout, and then I think Mike helped with some of the overarching, you know, ideas and things. I don't know, it kind of all happens at the same time. Okay. And you knew, like, I want to have character shots, essentially, and then focus on modes at that point? Yeah, it was kind of the targets and the characters kind of like Walking Dead, I guess, was an inspiration for that, another board game. Or a dog, too, I guess. Kind of like that. No! That was not what I wanted. That was a bad game, Ryan. That was a terrible game. That's a write-off game. That was a bad game. I was trying to do specific things, and I just bricked. Nope. Instead of just some plugged-rines audio. Somebody just said that magnet's going to cost me $2,500. That's the way I'm looking at it. I know. I love the expression lighting, and I know that's only premium reality. But the – and it feels good, man. Like, I have no doubt that Pro will play fun. Like, I love that the ramp right up the middle when you can loop that during the promote is really enjoyable. And the fact that Pro has that. Oh, I see the side player. Oh, okay. Yeah, so he's already got his – he's already got his – what? Oh, it was blinking. Why are you looking at me? I thought you had the ball stick. Yeah. It's only a one-second ball stick. You can just... Oh, it's on the scoop. I got you. Yeah, yeah. It wasn't the main ball stick. It was the scoop I was expecting a little Go walk in on the Death Star let go Dude I just want to blow it up man Which it's going to be... The final shot of the mode is on the Death Star, so it's not... It's not easy. It's not a gimme, that's for sure. All right. The fact that you say you can backhand this, I don't. Okay, that's just dumb, as I do it. That's the first time I've ever backhanded it. Just stop believing in yourself. Don't believe. Okay. All right. What do we got here? What do we got here? Now, notice how every time you lock a ball, you still get a skill shot opportunity, but every time you hit a skill shot, it goes away, although it increases your skill shot value. So eventually you'll only have, you know, a couple shots to do some of the work a lot. So the more you lock balls and the more skill shots you get. Interesting. They'll slowly start disappearing. Oh, I tried. I missed it. I needed to bounce. The right side is definitely harder. I needed to bounce off the right side. Yeah, you're kind of often out of luck on the right side unless you get it to bounce the right way. I need some speed. I had a couple in the gameplay stream. I had one where I just pressed the button and it just, like, magically snorked me back into play. There you go. You're all right. Let's go blanking. Yeah, I should be, both you and I should be doing that. At the beginning, like right now, we should be prioritizing the orbit shots. To build what? To build Jedi. It says Jedi letters happen from the spinners. There you go. So even that is building Jedi. That Yoda shot is not... The right orbit is definitely a lot easier than the left orbit. What's going on? I love that on the inlanes, the fact that the inlane flippers only change the left two shots. Like, the right end lane you have to get, like, you have to hit a ramp to get the shot. Come here. Retro Tech. This game is pretty sick. You can back in there. Yeah, no problem. All right. All right, let's get over on the left. So he's only had one. Okay, so this must have been a cyan mode because he only has one blue shot lit. Yeah, but you can notice the points are pretty good. I think it's counting down. because it's on mode, but... Hey! It's slow enough. It's so cool. That one was wild. Yeah. That's what I... Ray, I'm excited for you. In a tournament, to be like... For the whole crowd to see the drain and be like... And then the magnet, like... You know, like... I know. Throw the ball somewhere. We really need people... Every Foo Fighters I've played in a tournament has the dead post disabled, so we really have to hope people don't disable the magnets. Yeah. You got a multiball starter. Is there a timer on that, though? But you can build it with the yellow shots. That's what he's doing. Where's the blue shot right now? Is it over on Yoda? No, now it's on Luke. There is a timer for the light speed, though. Yeah. Oh, yeah, there you go. Oh. Light speed, you've got ten seconds. Nice. There you go. Now you're in it. Okay. Mode shot on the left. Come on. Come on. Luke, you got 13 seconds. Yep. Okay. Give me the ball in there. Give me the ball. Stop hitting that thing. Is the Death Star shot getting easier with more plays? It's getting easier because I feel like I'm starting to find the shot. I do know we were talking earlier, Ray said okay, so you finish the mode, this is where you can just loop right up the middle, there you go there you go, yeah how's that feel? how's that feel? oh my god yeah, that's such a yeah that's such a fun moment it's almost like a Led Zeppelin guitar solo there, right? it felt similar now he can't do an add no you can do an add a ball starlock pin you can qualify it so this is where he's saying up the middle builds it and then you want to go right right ramp to cash it out right Where's the timer for that? There you go, catch it out. Nice job. Started a mode, though. Did it start a lay-a-mode? Yeah, it did. 1.8 million. You got a lot of points. You got a Stormtrooper hurry-up going. and that'll give you a bonus X and also, like... Where? What? The Stormtrooper target right above the Pop Bumper? Nope. Is that timeout too real? Nope, there you go. Orbits are good. Where's he at? Two more blue shots. See that? That is so cool. Yeah. I'm going to be addicted to that field. Isn't that so great? that's what I felt bad about Jared you're going to play another game you're going to hope Jared never quite figured out the timing so like to him the magnet was more annoying I tried to save it but you figured that timing out and it feels incredible 20 million for that mode shot that's two modes you beat All right, and you got your iron cannon lit, so you can set a multiplier here. Oh, yeah, you're right. You could go draw. Have you done hog? Yeah. Joel did kind of predict this, right, where after a couple games. Oh, yeah, yeah. Ryan warms up. There you go. There you go. So now you can do, we started the mode. You can get Hoth going here. Fucking do it. Oh. It always sucks to be having a calf off at Expo Enzo. Why is it so hard to forehand that? Hoth shot. The Luke shot. The Luke shot. I think it's actually not a hard shot. I don't know why. But it's so much easier from the backhand. It's one of those situations where the flippers are set up for backhand, so you can backhand the right way. but it makes the left shot harder. So if you want, you can lower the flippers, but then you'll lose the backhand on the right ramp. So it just depends on what you prefer, I guess. Like a Steve Ritchie game where you get the odd flippers. I like the control level. The other thing is the game is designed so that you can crisscross, you can shoot the right ramp and then shoot up the hyperspace. So if you change the flipper too much on the right, then you risk losing the ability to hit the hyperspace jump from the right. I think it's right the way it is. Yeah. I don't know. I don't like changing. I like backhands. I love a good backhand. That's this game. Yeah. That's this game. Did you get a ball one Billy on stream? Yes. Well, Ray getting a Billy on stream is nothing new. So, do you remember what you did? Like, I don't think. Oh, you started a travel mode. Oh, how did that? Oh, this is the Rancor. So Rancor is untimed. So you're in it, and so you die. Oh, great. You can still start Monkey Ball, so you can't start the fourth mission. Finally, forehand is in. The Rancor mode is like a combo mode, so if you can hit the shots, it's like boom, boom, boom. You get, like, higher multiplier. Yeah, your orange shot is on the right. but you have your jackpot shot that has a great shot. Jesus. There you go. That right ramp. Nice. Oh, come on. When the flippers warm up, that right ramp is not as guaranteed. There you go. Right up the middle. Wow, that was thick. There you go. Oh, another one up the middle. Alright. Does it show? Oh, you got it. Oh, you got one. So you're still in. Add a ball. Add a ball. Oh, no, you didn't have it. Your last chance to cross on the left. Oh, yeah, the jackpot. There it is. So, is there a progress bar for the Rancor mode? I don't I think so it's your ball it's your ball collected oh that all happened get back yeah there's nothing oh I guess there isn't a progress bar for the rank was he on his last shot I think because it takes more than five shots I'm not sure how many shots it is I think he was on the second to last I think he hit the center and then you finish it at the... At the star like that? Star like that. Ah, makes sense. All right. Oh, you get to shoot. That's me. Yep, yep, yep. Okay, what are you... I have no idea. You got a ways to go with the Death Star Vaulting Ball. You just played Hoth. You just beat... You have a VaynerMode. I still... Yeah, I've not done the VaynerMode yet. Otherwise... You have not completed. Oh, skill shot into the pops immediately gives you a multiplier? Or are the items in and stuff? He had it charged up from the last ball. He just needed one more, I think. So if he wanted to do another Millennium Falcon mode, is it just right up the middle over and over again? Qualifying? Yep. Oh, you got another mission. What, Vader? I'm going to drain and try to get it. Come on. Nah. I don't think I hit that scoop. You got the young shot. Ray, I'm not sure how much involvement coding has to do with the animation, but do you think future games will have similar UI with the video assets being in a smaller box? I'm assuming this, I would assume that's a licensing limitation, where you're not allowed to put animations over the... In this game, yeah, but you can see when you get an award, it goes as big as it can, but the only way it could be bigger is if you could put text directly on it, but they don't want the text, you know, covering the character. See, that's working. But yeah, there's actually a lot of work that went into this UI so that I made it as big as possible and then try to shrink it when you have the scores, and then there's even a tournament mode. That was not a magnet. There's a tournament setting where if you want to see your scores, like during this, ball one locked, you would still see your scores, and then I'd switch everything up for that because I know people want to see their scores a lot. So there was a lot of effort into the very UI configuration. Nice. When I first saw the UI on stream, I was like, oh, that's an interesting way to get around licensing restrictions. but I will tell you the new screen in person is awesome. The bigger size is fantastic. It's incredibly legible. I think it's just a nicer screen. Like I don't think the resolution's changed. It still seems like it's 1080p, but like the blacks are like darker. The other display wasn't 1080p. It was 1360 by 768. Oh. I just always I'm sorry I always stretched it in OBS and didn't realize it but that's uh yeah yeah I mean in OBS the source it'll tell you it's not 1080 um but this one the Spike 3 is 1080 and in addition to being 1080 it's higher DPI so um what you're looking at actually in the background so like right now that is 766 that is the same pixels as Spike 2 um like see what a spaceship's applying so you're saying this size right here is the same as the spike 2 machine uh right now yeah so when you hit an award it gets a little bigger it ends up being it's actually bigger than spike 2 but in the background this background is is the same pixels as a spike 2 monitor um if you compared the inches it'll look like a little bit smaller but that's because the DPI is higher, so it's higher. There, you nailed it. Nicer. 15 tries. It's beautiful. Like, honestly, it's... Now, I would be curious... Oh, here you go. Here you go. Right up the middle. My bad. It's fast. Is up the middle, like, the only thing that you can hear? Yes. There you go. You can get ten of these, but I haven't seen anybody get past, like, five. That right here is the moment. Where are you at? There you go. Five more. Yeah, and then you're out. That's pretty sick, Voldemort. Sorry that I'm all up in your grill here. You know, but... There we go. We're coming back. Good? Yeah, yeah. And, wait. Okay, where do we go now? Well, Vader's lit. You got another Vader mode. You've got... Now you're ready for another mode. Hey, look. Save it. How do I put the Tilbop in just right? mode. Have you played... Okay, so he's played four modes. Is that correct? Yep. Played four and beat two of them. Okay. Yes. Now he's on his fifth mode, so if he plays Hoss for Death Star, the points are going to be pretty big, because half the shots are going to be doubled. Come here. Come here. This is a dangerous time. But even those shots, because they were white, you just increased the value of them. And your Jedi, you can save your ball. Get him, Larry. Go. There you go. Got it. He's also got shot multipliers on stuff, too, so this could get real nasty. If he starts a multiball, I would not be surprised if he walks away with a billiard. I have to go. Well, multiballs. Oh, he's one shot away. You're one shot away at Luke for multiball. Oh, yeah, you're right. Might as well do it. Oh, there's a blue shot. I didn't see it. Yeah. Just get in a multiball and your mode's still going. You can forehand it. No, I can't. There it is. There we go. Hey. All right, so you're saying this could be very valuable. Now, you better hit, well, it's going to be hard to hit the left orbit while the ball is plunging. Oh, I guess it counted at 40. I was going to say the blue shot resets the mode timer, whereas the white shot will just add a couple seconds. So if you're about to run out of time on a mode, you've got to stop and count the white shot and hit a blue shot. You hit your starlight pitch to get in there. There you go. Now you've got your multi. There you go. So your data ball is lit. His button is now green, so when he gets down to one ball, he can resurrect it all here. So you can get a lot of points here if you can. Okay, so any other shot but the droid shot will build his jackpot, but you need to cash that jackpot out. Is there a timer on that? There's no timer, right? Just survive the multiball? Yeah, no timer. You get that out of all. Okay, so you cast out a jackpot. But this is where you're saying prioritize the shots. Like Han, you have a 2x Han. Leia, you have a 2x Han. Han, you have a double-double because you've got the ion cannon. Actually, and Leia, too, yeah. Oh, because you get the ones. Yeah, you have a triple-double. He's got the combo shot. Yeah. So right here, sorry. He's got the combo shot and the ion cannon, plus he beat a mode. So that's... Well, and... Yeah. Right? A lot of good stuff. Well, the window is solid, so that means 3x. There you go. And, yeah, so 15 mil for that. And it lit his double-jump pad. There you go. That's big. Now the super is lit. There you go. He's got his... He's got his add-a-ball. Sick. Dirty Pool, how you doing, man? Well, the super likes to add another ball, too, if you can get it in there. Oh, because he spelled add-add. Okay. So that's... You need to get the lose. We've got to tie him up. There it is. There it is. Nice. $65 million on that. Wow, that was beautiful. You had it trapped up so you could watch the display. I purposely held up the add-a-ball until after that was done. You could see it was waiting. And since you had the ball trapped, you got to see the add-up fall down. Oh, bonus is 3X. Don't kill him like you can. not like you can oh the magnet too much fun oh the magnet I'm telling you guys this is the magnet is such a joy oh so now he's got that that hurry up going during the multiball oh I drained out oh you drained out ok but you got your final shot or last chance or whatever on Luke oh yeah that's right Right now he's building on the middle, but he needs to get it. Luke, you have one second. Nope. Okay. And now you can build, Leia, 200 million on that, on that multiball. Okay. And then you've got to cash out eventually. I don't see a timer. Hurry. Yeah, you kind of have to just go by feel and go by P-P-P-O talking to you. Oh. That was the shot. Dude, you've got it going, man. That's it. I think we're out. You're out of the magnet. That's quite a ball, dude. That's fun. That was good. That was really good. That magnet, man. It's silly. It's so much fun. It's silly, but just whoop. It's so simple. Why did nobody put you in control of the magnet down there before? That's so cool. And here I am thinking TNA, you know, to have the ball save timer right there, was like the best thing you could put between the flippers. But now. That wasn't pretty cool. I like that. It's sweet. That was quite a good ball, dude. Wow, bonus meltdown, too. 800. 800. No, really? Yeah. All right, here I go. Here I go. I was just right there. Death star, death star, Joe. What's the death star? Is it blowing up the Death Star a million points? Because that's what I need. It can be up to like 200 mil. That's like a reject, right? Shot reject. Whoops. What a game, Ryan. Too good, I guess. All right, let's take a breath here for a second. Chad, do we got any questions for Ray? I mean, we're going to keep going here. We're having a good time. I'm having fun. Yeah. Do we have any questions for Ray? Ray, are you, have we not, what do you want me to focus, I mean, I'll focus on Death Star, but is there, what else would you want us to show or focus on that we haven't already done? I mean, if you complete a Vader mode, it starts Dark Side Scoring, which is like a purple arrow that just runs in the background like Hedorah in Godzilla. Yeah, I saw that last week. So that can be a fun thing to just get started early on, and it's based on how many Vader modes you've done. So if you've invested a lot in the Vader modes, then you can get this purple arrow up to quite a bit. And the Vader modes are really fun moments because they're very dialogue heavy. There's a lot of James Earl Jones in your face. but other than that you pretty much showed a couple of the Falcon modes there's like I said there's four of them there but I don't know if anyone's ever seen all four yet there's yeah tons of character missions I don't know I didn't see any like you know Obi-Wan missions or Yoda missions because those are kind of the hardest ones because they're on the orbits and then yeah you played some Java stuff I don't know, I mean, Death Star, if you just want to throw your balls up there and see if you can... I can do it. We can do it. I did it last week. Two meter wide, I think it scaled down to two inches on this one. Is there a mode where you prioritize building over progress? Like, there's a big advantage to it? I mean, all the modes, if you're building, will just pay a lot more. But there's certain modes where, because the value you're building never goes down. So if you're in a mode where there's, like, a bunch of build shots at the beginning, you'll want to hit those, so then all your blue shots are, like, cashing out on the build value. It's kind of hard to tell right now, but I have it coded so that it will actually say, like, you know, build shot zero out of three, so then you know how many. Because it's all based on the movie clips. So some modes have more build shots in certain places because it's playing the scene with kind of the greatest hits where the blue shots are. That's a good question Zach asked. Ray, you know, being a high-end tournament player yourself, do you feel like this is structured in a way that it would be a really good tournament then? Like the 2017 Star Wars is actually a really good tournament then. yeah I think I think this will be great for tournaments because it's it's just mean enough where I don't think you'll have to worry about people playing it forever forever and and there's enough shots and kind of things in the game to kind of make it fun in tournaments where you're not seeing who brought the dog every game right like in Ghostbusters or seeing this I you know I almost hate to say it but New Orleans, right? I'm a boot fighter. Yeah. So I see the one shot right now is on the right organ. Is there a way to change where that shot is? Or no, he's like, that is the shot for this mode. I'm not sure. Yeah, I think the droid mode, the blue arrow can move around with slingshot. Okay. But I don't think it moves around in any of the other modes. But it's not like hitting a bot bumper or hitting something could shift the arrow in any direction. You started that mode. I started it. Yeah, yeah. I didn't make anything. I think the first, and of course, everything's still subject to change, but someone's asking about the mini wizard mode. So right now I think the plan is you get three different modes started, and it'll be the I Am Your Father kind of Cloud City Duel. Ooh. So that'll be really fun to look forward to, and it'll be kind of like, you know, you can just start three modes to get it. Everyone should be able to get to it, but the goal is to try to make it, you know, fun and, you know, if you blow up the modes beforehand, maybe it's worth more, that sort of thing. So this is, I see the Falcon hurry up. Now, you said beat three modes or start three modes? My original thought was just Dart 3 modes, but they have to be unique modes. So if you start two on the same one, it wouldn't help you. But if you do play the same one a couple of times, you know, that would factor into your scoring, I would think. Hello, Simblada. So you can bring this Millennium Falcon multiball into this. Actually, yeah, you can stack this with Hoth if you can hit the three locks fast enough while still being able to cast out up the center. It's kind of hard, but you can stack them. Well, he's got his Millennium Falcon mode ready up the middle. Right, but there's only so much time on it. But I'm saying he could also bring in hot, too, if he managed to lock the three balls. It's kind of like to use this mode. Right? He was at the point of hitting that button. He had a lot of potential there. Yeah, I was trying to get up the middle for that multiball. But you had completed your five shots. For the Jabba. Yeah. So Jabba flashing was the giveaway that he was ready to. Glowworm. Glowworm. Test star. Nope. Test star. Do you have any pets, Joel? Yeah, I got a big fluffy dog upstairs. I'm allergic to cats. Big doggo. Oh, no. I'm probably technically allergic, but I just take an allergy pill every day and go to class. But if I don't take the allergy pill, then I sometimes get greasy. Yeah, my wife has asked me more than once if... If I would just commit to doing that so we could get a cat. I know my kids would love a cat, but no. I was like, my body rejects the animal. I don't. Ignore that. Ignore. Dude, if Brian can have a death save, I can. That was the magnet. I don't want to talk about it. There we go. Right up the middle. There we go. Now I've got to get loot. Ah, look at that. There it is. Load complete. Alright. So yellow shots are these combos that you're talking about. Are we going to get a Kessel run? Let's get a Kessel run. You have 13 Parsecs. I'll get my paper. Maybe that's on Falcon Mode. We haven't seen it. It just counts as parsec. Isn't parsec the unit of death? Yeah, yeah. Don't mention that. It made the Kessel run in 13 parsecs, okay? A flipper code for Simba. That would be cute to have a flipper code, but I don't know if I'd want to use the word Simba. That might be a... Oh, yeah. Simba. But I could maybe show... He was cute. Petey Cat. Ray's already a flipper code you could throw him in an image of him did Ray sneak no people in chat who in chat here is buying one of these and if so what model did you get did Pinmonk get his I know he always gets one for various things. And then, boom. Okay, there it is. Now, this is not a gimme. All right, I'm ready. This is the big save. So you got to be ready to slap it or there you go. That worked out well. Dustin got a premium. You'll love it, dude. The magnet. The magnet is frustrating. The first few games, you're like, come on, where's the fun magnet stuff? But then once you figure out that timing, ooh, baby. Was it a Death Saver or Lazarus? he did a straight up death game earlier nah yeah but they can train a turtle premium for premium Star Wars I mean as a turtles lover myself you would enjoy it This is a good game. This game is not nearly as brutal as turtles. But Ryan had a turtles for a long time. Yeah, I had a turtle premium. Yeah. Dude, extra ball. Where did that extra ball come from? I don't know. It's something. Right range. Oh, right range. That's right. Light fighters, yeah. Yeah, okay. All right, so you're done with that mode. You're one shot away on the left from multiball. Yep. You're three locks away from the death star multiball. Your Darth Vader mode's lit. Or you go Jabba mode. Jabba. Jabba. Jabba? I got Jabba? Let's do Darth Vader. Do Darth Vader? I got Jabba. try to get Dark Spikes throwing before multiball Ryan can't hit that shot you can if you kind of get it right on the tip of the back like you can backhand into the Darth Vader shot I did it last week there we go no I thought that was it right in the knuckle of that thing look at that Oh, shoot again. Oh, this is your extra ball. You can hit it now. Oh, yeah. Oh, I was going to give Joel all the credit for that if he made that shot. I mean, yeah. What's that? The guest shot? No, I can't. Okay, so this is that hurry up again. What am I doing? You're building in the middle, and then you cash out on the right ramp. Otherwise, you're... It's not worth a ton. Otherwise, Chewie's a mode shot. Luke, are you already at the end, or is it... Yeah, Luke is... Oh, orbits feel so good. I love the full orbit on this game. Oh, I see what you tried to do. I'm trying to forehand Luke. All right. I'm amazed that we were able to get the backhand to work on Luke because it did not look like it was going to be possible. Luke and Leia are amazing that you can backhand. Yeah. As high as that ramp is, it didn't seem like it would be. Oh, center ramp, lock in that multiplier, start your multiball. I got to hit the shot. You missed it. No, not that. Well, at least you got a mode down. It could be worse. Yeah, and you built your jackpot up a little bit. Start the multibot. It can turn out, and it's about to. Give me. Oh, boy. There we go. We did it. I need the layup. Dude, I love the time. Sorry. The helix, there's time built into that. Yeah. It's kind of a nice, like, break. Well, it's like, you know, when you're in multiball play here, it's like you can see the shot out of the corner of your eye. I'm going to try. But. Oh, that'll add a ball probably. I see that. I lost my mode. Yep. Oh, your mode timed out. Mm-hmm. Oh, that shot. All right. I'll bring it back. Because this is ball three. Here's the latest team. Here we go. Let's get it up the middle and figure it out. Nope. Nice. Oh, you almost had it. There you go. There you go. Getting the two shots is such a fun thing to do. Alright. Where do I want to put this? That's dangerous. Nope. I didn't have it. I didn't have it. That was only ball two, I think. right? Yeah, I would pull two. Okay, we're okay. We're good. Alright. Oh, I Death Star. I forgot. We haven't seen that yet tonight. We need to do that. Um, Ray, yeah, I have had that happen one time. If you get two shots to the Luke, but there's not enough power to get them both out. Do you know what I'm talking about? Uh, I don't think I've ever gotten two of them stuck in there, but, um, I guess, yeah, I guess if you did them really fast, like back to back. Because it will set one behind, and then when the one tries to shoot up, it's because it's touching, it doesn't have enough power to go up, so then they're just stuck. The two are stuck in the buck. And unfortunately, I had to take the glass off. I wonder if it takes it lighter, would it be able to kind of dribble backwards down the lane maybe? I feel like that's that would be I don't know if the coil like to just, ooh, here we go let's try multiple, don't let us down go ahead and explain this Ray I can definitely change the ball surge pattern to be different so basically every shot is lit if you hit the yellow Chewie is on solo right now we'll count as two jackpots to help you get to the super faster So, does he want to prioritize the flashing red shots or the solid red shots? Like, Chewie is like a slow pulse. Or is that a, oh, he has a Jabba mode. Okay, I don't think there is a thing. You want to hit the Death Star? I would alternate between, come on. Oh, yeah, Death Star. That was it. The Death Star also would add the ball And you hit it And then prepares you for the super phase So you started the multiball But it was kind of Hey That's one way to save it Giveaway time I can't give away Zach's not here I'm not going to give away stuff that I don't know if I can give away. One question I would ask, the hat that Ryan's wearing, Silver Ball Swag actually sent me that. That's an embroidered, flipping out hat. So I have a big head. It doesn't fit my head. But I was like, here, Ryan, do you want this? So I don't know. If people would buy that or would like that hat, I could throw that up on Silver Ball Swag. A hat? That hat, yeah. Who wants a hat? Okay, ball three. Has anybody had their Star Wars pros arrive at their locations nearby? I think they're basically shipping... Actually, well, Don just got his premiums, so I think they're starting to ship premiums now, too. Okay, I can use my magnet. Vader mode. Not the problem one. Don't do it, don't do it. Make a shot. Make a shot. I was trying up the... I don't know why I'm aiming for the clock, but here we go. Alright, so this one is actually the in-lane. Oh. Oh! Oh! Dang it! In-lane, so that explains why the three shots that were lit were all in-lane shots. Yeah. You got it. Give away a bag of pencils. What time do we got? Oh, we got 20 minutes. We have plenty of time for another game. Ryan, have you taken all the high scores yet? Let's see here. No, you still got one and... I got to get Death Star multiple tonight. I got to get to that. You got to it. You just didn't know what you were doing. Because I'm telling you, you hit it, and then it opens up, and you have time to get it in there, and you get it in there, and it's awesome. Yeah. It's a big moment. Big moment. Big moment. So what are you working on now, Ray? I mean, all the modes are in the game, right? Theoretically, all the wizards. There's no wizard mode. Well, I mean, the character modes are in the game. Are all the Vader modes in the game? Yeah. I think there might actually be 23 out of 24 of the character missions, so I think there's like one more that's sort of sneakily not in. Um, but it, so there'll be, like, maybe one more character mission, and then, um, there's going to be, you know, there's the wizard mode for the forest missions, I Am Your Father. Mm-hmm. Um, then there's, you know, the falcon wizard mode is going to be the, uh, Never Tell Me the Odds, navigate the asteroid field scene from, uh, you know, Honk Solo. Ah! And then there's also going to be the whole Battle of Endor Ewok encounter sort of mode at one point. And then Death Star 2 is going to be its whole other multiball where you're blowing up the Death Star 2 with clips from Return of the Jedi instead of New Hope. And then there's Jedi Master, which is going to be the Emperor duel. So there's a lot. And also, Sarlacc's hit multiball, too, for... Yeah, there's still actually a lot left, even though there's a lot in it. Is Boba Fett in the game anywhere? He might show up in Jabba Land, some of those things, maybe. I'm not sure. There... Oh! I thought there was still the backhand. Yep. I don't know, man. Don't... Ah! If you hear the rattle... There you go. This is my shot, dude. Oh, I love that rant. It's like deceptively tight, too. It looks like it should be right there. You see how I forehanded that right? There it is. Nothing to it. No problem. Dude, the backhand. That makes no sense. On the fly? I know. I was like, that makes no sense how that works. Yeah, I don't understand that. That's not it. It's all right. Let's try it again. Here we go. On the fly. On the backhand. Right here. I was like, there's no way I can get that in the game. And. Nope. Oh, it's right there. I have not, I should ask what, there we go, what adjustments need made. Okay, so you're saying red shots, blue shots are the mode. I should go from starlight. All right, and prioritize the yellow shot because that will get you to the tumor faster. Yellow. Oh, yeah. He's trying to go star-like. Oh, yeah, you're definitely going to want that, a ball. I know, I'm trying to. Takes more of the light. Control. Uh-oh. You only get a ball. Dude, Starlight Pit. Come on. That's not it. Dang it. Dang it. Back in. I thought maybe you were going to back into Starlight Pit. Oh, I could have. How many more? Yeah. You were only two jackpots away from the Death Star. You were close. I don't have it. I don't have the juice. That's all right. Okay. Ball one, though. So if I get back into Death Star, Is it the second one or go back into the... You'll actually go back to where you were and you'll have... There we go. You'll be two shots away. So it carries your progress. The second Death Star isn't that much harder to get to because you just have to hit the shield in between lots. So it's like six shots. So not too bad. Oh, you had a magnet if you wanted to. But he's saving it. He's saving his magnet. Saving it. Okay, I do like, so I can do, I can short plunge, and I'll get spins. Not many, but I get some spins from doing that. There we go. Okay, so I see. So I have one ball locked, but you're saying I have to hit the mouth of the Death Star here to. Oh, you already locked one. Never a doubt, right? You know? because I totally missed the shot. I just gotta rely more on the backhand shot here. Nope, I don't have it. I want to blow up that Death Star. I want to blow up that Death Star right here, right? Jeez, I've done nothing. Got 800 million point game, and then you can have like a 30. You've got a lot of guts going here. I don't know what you pulled. All right, so that gave you one ball lock. Oh, now it closed so you can start that multiball. It's so good to see you. Oh, yeah, you're in light. Yeah, right up the middle. you can build it with yellow shots or just go right up the middle to start your multiball you have your mode shot on the left there you go that's done Corkins absolutely needs a multiball he's the guy flying one of the X-Wings right There you go. I mean, you can back in, like, every shot in this game. There you go. Oh, this is your moment. That's such an awesome... The Death Star shot will be... Oh, back into a move. Okay. Oh, good. Oh, right up the middle. Nice. Mode shot. So, a hard mode setting for hot to require a target hits the light each lock. That's, yeah, is tournament mode you just hit light lock once and then you're good to go? No, tournament mode, it has easy, medium, and hard. So the default is easy. Tournament is medium. So on easy, you hit it once and it lights all three locks. Medium, you hit it once, it lights one lock, but then you can light another one if you hit the target, and another one so you can stack locks. So you can go like three targets and then three bucks. And then hard is you have to hit the light lock and then lock a ball before you can light a second lock and before you can light the third lock. So you can set it to hard, which I'm actually, I think I'm just going to change it to tournament mode, be hard, because even hard is still only six shots. So, yeah, right now tournament's on medium. I'll probably change it to hard. Default is easy, but if you want, you can change it to medium or you can change it to hard. There you go. You know, it's up to you. Data move. Data move. Go right up the middle. That was the one I... There you go. So this is the in-lane, so... There. Oh, yeah. I've got to go to the right. Nice. And there's Vader to cash out. Got to actually hit it on purpose. Uh-huh. No, it's crank it up. Well, I don't hear the main theme playing or C-Tech crawling right now, so... I'm not sure what. There it is. Yay. Nice. So there's the purple shot. So the purple shot just works its way around, or what? Yeah, that's the dark side square. So, okay, he's almost done seeing the credits. So once the credits go away, then you get a cool montage of all the, like, spaceship battles and stuff. Ooh, nice. A freaking magnet, man. Hop into it. Yeah, for that. Cash out on the right. Oh, yeah. It's not really worth anything. So where's the purple shot? Oh, okay. You're going to start a chewy mode of it. Nope. There it is. So he's two locks away from Death Star Multiball. You just started this mode. You're one shot away on Luke for that Multiball. Hot. There we go. So you have Hoth. Nice. And Galva. You got Galva's pallets with Hoth, and you got Darkside scoring. Let's try your films. Can we start over? Keep out of your lane. Yeah, you got a good setup here. But the purple shot is double, or what's that word? It's, I think, 2% of your Vader mode total. so I don't know how many points you got out of the Vader mode. 25, not a lot. So it'll be about a million and a half or so, but it's the total of all Vader modes, but it just sort of hangs out in the background. Yeah, they're just for that ball, right? Right. All right, so Jawa... Oh, just hit Starlack to be done with the Jawa mode. There it is. So now you're done with his mode. No, you're not done with his mode. Okay. Hit the... Yeah, hit the trap. Trying to hit... Oh, your last chance. I see. Come on, hit me. Nope. There we go. Nope. He's got 21 seconds to do what? This Java mode is unique. It never ends. So it's all timed out. So you just let it time out. You basically just play it for points until it runs out of time. And you can keep adding time by hitting the drop target. And you can also stack it with anything. So it's just kind of like a frenzy. See how long you can keep it going for. It's not like one that you're trying to beat. Although it does have a win condition, which that's why you got that achievement. because you hit three shots and four shots and five shots and then the drop target. Oh, nice. So you technically beat the mode, but it's going to keep going. Right. Okay. Dang, you came back. Came back. All right, well, you got Hoth ready and Vader mode ready. And all the modes ready. All right, well, now you're in the droid mode. There you go. Nice. Hot bus droids. Dude, you're just pooping boys. Wow, 28 million. Yeah. We're going to have a bus too. Grab my score real quick. Come on. I got to hit Luke. Nice. Hit the Luke shot. Oh, wow. Everything just fell apart. Your mode is lit to finish. There it is. Oh, big point. You're sleepy. There's a hundred million there. That's nice. And Vader's lit. Oh, I got him. Whoa! Yeah, I mean, I think, like, at the beginning of every ball, you'll probably see the text, but I might, it could change so that, like, maybe since he did something this ball, maybe we don't need the text anymore. But, I mean, otherwise you're just seeing the, see, look, now he's got the spaceships and stuff. So, you don't see it that often, but things can always, we can always move stuff around and change stuff. But I think the Old Star Wars game always played the main theme all the time. And actually didn't have any video assets while you were playing. Like, I think it just had a cabin that you looked out of in a blank void. So, I mean, I could do that. I could have a blank void. I can't. Oh, the LucasTubers. Come on, the center ramp was right there. Wow. There you go. It's so fun with all those balls. Yeah, if you play better... I mean, once the text... You only see the text once, and then it goes away, and then you see the generic spaceship thing. But, I mean, I could put a setting that just says no text, and then you get the generic spaceship thing if you want. Or, like, you know, maybe the text only on ball one or something. That worked out well. You know, I wanted text for movies one, two, and three, I thought it would be cool to have ball one, two, and three. But, I mean, you can always change stuff around. Trap up. Cliff, that would have made sense. That would have been the thing to do. Control? Did you beat him? Did you win that? Yeah, he got hit. I came back. Yeah, he crushed that ball. I, uh, so I'm disappointed I did not blow up the Death Star tonight. But trust me, guys, it's a very cool moment. It's good to have goals, and that's like the one more game thing, right? You don't come back wanting to blow up the Death Star. Absolutely. All right, Ray. Sorry. Ryan, what's your – two hours. Two hours of gameplay. I like it. I definitely can't wait for there to be more for, like, you working towards with the main character modes. Because right now it just feels like I completed it, and then – You're like the mini wizard mode? I definitely want that mini wizard mode in there. Yeah. Something to work for. But for what it is right now, yeah, it's a lot of fun. I like that it makes you kind of shoot everywhere. You know, there's shots all over the place. The magnet is a blast. That's unfortunate. The magnet's awesome. The magnet doesn't – you don't know how fun it is until you save a ball with it. And especially when you save a ball in a weird way. because, I mean, we had a few that were, like, if it comes this way and goes, like, it just, like, it's awesome. But these weird ones, like, he trapped up and had one where it, like, just popped up. We had a few of those. And then when you get fully Jedi spelled and it just hovers here and you wait, like, patiently for it to throw it up. Whoops. To throw up. Okay. Apparently I can't do that anymore. That save is fun because you're kind of on the edge of your seat. You're like, you're pretty sure you have to trust it, right? You think you've saved it. Yeah. And the shots look tight. So it's a verdict. Less brutal. Does this, is this game, I don't know, you know, on the Steve Ritchie one with the fork that would come up for the Death Star, that shot was a challenging shot. That shot was also very tight. You had to hit that clean. So I don't know if this is a harder shooter necessarily than Steve Ritchie's. because you were finding shots. The game flows. I think the Death Star is the only one. It's a little challenging, but Ray mentioned earlier, John Borg's like, he's on the line. He's tweaking those to make sure that the ones leaving the factory are as good as they can be. And I need to look into what I can tweak, but we both got to Death Star Vault. It's not like it's unachievable. So, all right, next week is Expo in Chicago. I know I'll be there. Ray Day will be there. Definitely wait in line and play the game because it's fun. And make sure you play a premium RLE and try to save that ball with the magnet. It's legit. Thanks for the kind words, Chad. I appreciate it. And, yeah, RIP to Simba's. That's funny. Well, Ryan, thank you so much for being here. I appreciate you stepping in for Jared. Thanks, Charlie. I think Jared could have got that 800 million point game. No problem. You just needed that second week. And, Ray, dude, fantastic job, man. This, I don't know, I just, I can only imagine how intimidating it was to be handed Star Wars. And, honestly, I think you've done a fantastic job with the code. Thanks, man. Yeah, it's a lot bouncing, you know, not having too many things going at once, but not having chopping wood in between and not having, you know, it's a lot. But I'm really happy with, you know, we kind of would bounce ideas off each other and we're iterating. And I think we came up with a good, good, good mix of everything. And there's movie clips and audio clips and you have moments where you, you know, you finish a mode. Yeah. I mean, you see the scene. It's, it's, you balance. Maybe next time. I saw chat also asking maybe turn up the volume because, yeah, there's a lot of great lines. Like all your favorite quotes. Yeah. I turned it. Check out last week's stream. We had the volume up higher. I turned it down a little more. Right. I guess you wanted to talk about the game this stream. Yeah, I prioritized you, Ray. That's what I did. Thank you. Well, hey, next week we will have a stream. I don't know. We might just do a chatting stream, a pre-Expo stream. You know, if Ray pulls some all-nighters, maybe there will be some new code. I don't know. But we'll see what happens next week. But we'll do something next Wednesday, and then, yeah, next Saturday will be Expo. So I hope chat or people watching this on YouTube afterwards, please, if you see us at Expo, come say hi. It'll be a good time. Like, comment, subscribe, all the things. Let us know what you like, what we don't like. But, yeah, Ray, Brian, thank you so much. And, yeah, let me find the button. Everybody have a great rest of your week. We'll see you next week. Bye, guys.
