Welcome to the trade show portion the patreon show that you pay all this money to subscribe to because you want some extra content I decided to play this copyright and royalty-free music because I think it fits the theme of walking around an amazing trade show like the International Amusement Entertainment Expo that this I have a stand for International Association of Amusement Park Expo is what it is Tella's I think Goonies is next. I might be, I probably am completely wrong, but if Goonies is coming out, I think that's the company to do it. Barrels of Fun was notably absent from the Appa TradeShow Expo, probably because they're hard at work making all of their Labyrinth games. Labyrinth was a hell of a game. I had it, played it 500 times, loved the topper. I just noticed that it was still going for quite a bit of money, and I was like, I think I think I've I've satiated my love for labyrinth right now. I think I could sell it Use that money for other projects and then revisit labyrinth down the road again and That's what I decided to do. So I didn't sell it cuz I don't like the game game was super fun kind of miss playing it Arnie around here, but I'm excited for what's new maybe it's fifth element still but I I think I think from what I've heard Somebody is doing Goonies. Oh my goodness gracious. So, the other thing that I want to talk about was how my experiences was at IAAPA. This is an international exposition for everything amusement from roller coasters to water parks to go-kart tracks to arcades to pretzel carts, food trucks, like inflatables, everything, everything in entertainment. Other The trend drives the kids around the mall for ten bucks you get those they're right on animals whatever you want things to fill up claw machines even plush toys uh... a carnival games it's all there so it's all the playgrounds everything it's super fun I can't I don't even know what the square footage is but the stat is that if you were to walk every one of the aisles at the IAXpo you would walk nine miles so if that gives you an idea of the scope and Scale of this thing I've wanted to go to it for 20 years. I never had an industry connection. It's an expensive show to go to. It's around $350. But because we have such a well-connected pinball community, just talk to your friends because either you or a friend of yours will know somebody in the industry that has a connection that's going and they always end up with more wristbands than they need. So fortunately, I've been able to finagle my way in each year which has been fantastic. It's $350 to go in otherwise. It's not a public show. But if you're in the public, you can get in there. There's ways. There's ways. Just ask around if you're interested. But I've been wanting to go there because of the amusement park information. The new rides and everything that are unveiled at the show floor every year covered by media and journalists in the diaspora of theme parks. But I never really had a theme park connection strong enough to get me to the show floor at IAPA. So it's like, ah, it was always just out of reach. And then here I am in pinball. Lad Dunk, Dave Nak, And I was able to go there. There was a large tournament that was there. Zach Sharp was there. Tomagraph was there. Tomagraph. And then there was, you know, arcade stuff and video game stuff and anime stuff and, you know, people selling this, that, and the others. I walked by a table full of just rusty amusement game parts, like, you know, guns from shooters that just look like they've been sitting in someone's storage shed in Florida for 30 years, caked in dust and mold, like gross.
