And so I've got a stream here today on Tuesday, and then I've got the big dual slash, wait, Thursday night fight with, what's his face? We Love Pinball, a.k.a. Simon, and that's on Thursday night. And then it looks like Chuck Wirt of SDTM, Straight Down the Middle Pinball, will be streaming on Sunday from 10 to 12. And this is just auto-updates. Honestly, so, Zach of Straight Down the Middle and Flip N Out Pinball asked me to take over managing the streaming side of the Pinball network, and I'm just trying to help coordinate everything, make sure we're not stepping on each other's toes, and then help, I guess, kind of cross-market one another's streams and kind of what we're doing at this point. Up until now for streaming, it had been, up until recently, I should say, it had really just been kind of like a logo put on the stream, and I'm trying to make it something a little bit more, and, you know, we'll see how it goes. as far as notifying kind of what's coming up, I guess, in the near future. And, oh, cool, I want to get colors from your stream, too. Thanks. Yeah, I don't... Okay, so side note, two different pieces of software, by the way. So one of the MPT-3K is referencing Roboctopus. So, one, there's the new widget, which is the TPN widget, which you can see here. There. It's this right there. That's the TPN widget. And then the other item is Roboctopus, which allows you guys to control the lights. I finally got that back up and running. Pinsomniac just changed the colors, which is great. But there isn't a lot of security on that app. It's in a, I wouldn't even say beta phase. It's definitely alpha phase at this point. So it's really just confirming the technology and offering up some really basic capabilities and as non-intuitive of an interface as possible. It really is not easy to use. But once you get it set up, it's easy to reuse it with every stream. It's just a hassle the first time. And MPT-3K, I'm not certain, but if you cross-promote... I said cross-market. Cross-promote is definitely a better way to say that. And I don't know if you would actually end up stealing my queue items. In fact, it is a queue, so don't do that. Let's take a second here. so this is pretty standard I think for the like early 2010s where you have a shot, you hit that shot a bunch of times to start a mode and then you have to complete some number of shots in order to complete the mode it's like that Flynn is a roving I think orange shot Gem requires you to hit the shot just to the right of the recognizer it's a really tough shot to hit you can either bank it from the Tron targets here or you can hit it from the upper flipper but it's rough and you have to hit the gem shot I think three times in order to qualify it and then while it's running, it's just a hurry up I think you have like maybe 20 or 30 seconds you have to hit the gem shot again clue, you initiate by spelling clue on all of the inlanes and then I think you have to hit the scoop and then you have to get all of the clue shots there's one here, one here it's the helmet with the yellow line on it that's clue in the movie no, that is Yeah, Clue, which is the other version of Jeff Bridges, the younger version. So this one here, here, here, and here. That's four shots, right? Yeah. Or you can also get one given to you if you spell Clue again, meaning just hit all the ramps and it will eventually give it to you. Next up is Zeus. There's the stand-up targets to the right and left of the ramp over here. This one and that one, you spell that, you hit the scoop. Actually, I don't think you have to hit the scoop. It starts a hurry up, you have to hit those targets within a certain amount of time. Shoot this gem. And is Gem truly outrageous? She is outrageous, I guess. I don't remember the actress's name, but it was her and Olivia Wilde. Gem is on one side and Olivia Wilde is on the other of the head unit. And it's a tough shot to hit, I guess. Moving on, though. Quora, you just hit the Quora shot Which is this little loop right here A lot, and eventually it starts Quora like I have lit right here Quora is a multiball, while in Quora You either, I think, hit Quora A ton, or you just have to Hit the gem shot one time to complete that Mode, the next one is a Blue disc, that is disc multiball You have to beat the Recognizer, which is this guy Up here, and that's the target, so you hit that three Times, I think, to get it to drop That's your recognizer, no big deal. And then you hit all of the shots under here, and that's like a battle, a disc battle, with Rinsler, who turns out to be, I mean, giveaway. I think the movie was in 2011, but that is Tron. Anyway, you hit that like six or seven times, and that starts your disc multiball. So then the disc multiball flashes. You then have to basically just hit the disc a bunch more times, and that gets the recognizer to come back up. You hit the recognizer three more times, it drops back down, and then hit the disc behind it one time for the super jackpot. That completes that mode. Gonna take a second. That's a lot of talking. Radar love. Yes, it is. An AFM three-drop bank target in the middle. Next up... Oh my god, my nose is stuffed up right now. ...is the light cycle multiball. and you do that by, you qualify or rather light, light cycle by hitting all of the light cycle shots I think the first time through you have to hit four after that it might be five um yeah, I don't know and then when you're in light cycle you have to get two three-way combos I think in order to complete it maybe it's just one three-way combo, I haven't checked that up recently, but we did complete it in our first game, I feel like we didn't quite get the three-way combo the second time but we definitely got one three-way combo. Maybe we got an extra. I don't know. The Recognizer we already talked about, that's just the three-bank drop target that's like AFM. Tron is spelling, I think, Tron three times. And then that, once you've completed all of those, you go directly to Portal. If you haven't completed all of those modes, you go to Sea of Simulation, and you get a bonus for everything you've completed, and then you have to go through and complete the missing ones. and then if you beat that, you get into portal. Portal is the wizard mode. That's the game in a nutshell. Tight and the dropping the bank qualifies. No, dropping the bank allows you, it opens up. Once that drops, there's a disc behind that spins, and you have to get it in there, I think, six times in order to start disc multiball. The light cycle multiball is hitting all the lit light cycles. You can see them lit yellow here, here, there, here, and there's, it's not lit, there's one on Advanced Quora and another on the Gem Shot. An example of something that we did was I had the Pinsomniac and MPT3K streaming to an NGINX server hosted on my streaming laptop. I then was accepting their input into my stream and streaming back to NGINX. And then the Pinsomniac, Nick, was pulling my output from NGINX back into his stream and restreaming it back into mine. So we created a nice little loop at one point. We were just playing with different things like latency and setup, and when you switch themes, why does it drop? So I think we've got the majority of the issues figured out. I would say the biggest issue now is just bandwidth to our houses, because everybody and their mothers and their grandparents are all on the Internet right now. And Twitch has also become a little problematic recently, where it's dropping connections fairly often. So yes, anyway, expect a part two, and at the end of the first article, I'll be linking to part two, or feel free to sub there, or I push notifications out on new posts on Facebook and Twitter, so you can jump on those as well.
