## Transcript

you you you Ladies and gentlemen, what's going on? Welcome to the Deadpool Premium Premiere Gameplay Extravaganza. I am going to go live right here in 3, 2, 1. All right, they're looking at you, buddy. All right. And you are live on the CERN Facebook page. Are we good? We're good. Yeah. Hello, everybody. Welcome to the Deadpool Premium livestream. We're going to show off the play features of the Premium. As you know, the Premium and the LE playfields are the same, and so are the rules. I'm going to talk a little bit about some general things to look for, and then Mike's going to get into some in-depth on a couple of the rule changes that pertain to the differences in the play field. So the very first thing I want to talk about is I've seen a lot of discussion about the speech, the mature setting on the game. So if you got your latest code update, you'll notice that you now have in the menu, Do you have a mature yes or mature no setting for all of the speech calls in the game? We didn't actually add or change any of the speech calls. What's happened is that a couple of operators told me that some of the speech calls that we considered, meaning us and Marvel, considered to be fairly harmless were still offensive for certain locations. And since I don't want to keep Deadpool out of any locations, we decided that we would turn them off in the menu if you have a location where people are really sensitive to it. Some of the stuff that they were sensitive to is very, very mild stuff, like Deadpool says badass. And that was considered to be an issue. But like I said, I want Deadpool in every location. So I don't think it's a big deal. We sanitized the speech. We took out basically ass and butt and a couple of other things like when he tells you that you suck or whatever. So some of the insults went away in the setting. The games will ship with mature setting on. And so you don't have to worry about that. Okay, so getting into the play field, the single biggest thing, as I've talked about before, is this orbit comes all the way around, goes up the ramp, the ramp drops, and then it feeds the end of the katana so that you can repeat the shot or you can combo it. You can hit the ramp. You can hit a variety of different shots off of that feed. It feels really good to loop it. So if you're really good, you can do that. And, of course, the disco rule is tied to that looping. And then, of course, you'll see the disco ball at the back. When we use a disco ball, we turn the lights on the play field down in order to enhance the effect. By the way, the spotlights are behind Dazzler and behind Wolverine. They're actually attached to their bodies. I did the best I could to sort of conceal the spotlights and yet make them work. They are a special, very powerful, focused LED to try to enhance the effect that you get from the disco ball. This particular game has been tricked out with some of the stuff from the accessory program. You'll notice the art blades. You'll notice the shuriken bumper caps. You'll also notice that the shuriken bumper caps have some clear plastics on top of them. Those plastics ship in your kit. You can use them or you can choose to use them or not use them. They're basically about ball traps. So if you're going to put them in your house and you don't want to use the clear plastics, feel free to leave them off because they're really intended for somebody that's going to operate it on location. And then in addition to that, the katana side armor is on this game. So over here you'll see Katana B, and on the other side, Katana A. So we'll show you that in some more detail in the next couple weeks. You'll see all this stuff. All this stuff's available. It will be available in the accessory program. And then, of course, the premium has the metal bottom arch with the backlit panels. If you've got an LE, you're getting my signature over here on this left panel. and if you got an LE you're getting some really trick cool armor that has a special metal flake powder coat with a really heavy metal flake that I personally mixed and put together and we replicated so it's not a color that you can find or order out of a catalog so I think that's about it so today joining us here at Stern Pinball in addition to some of the guys that you met last time in the stream, the guys that worked on the game. We have the lovely ladies from Bells and Shines. They're going to join us. Welcome. So they are essentially going to play the game. As soon as Mike is done telling you about the differences, some of the more in-depth rule differences between the premium LE and the pro. Okay, so Mike, want to get into it? Right. Okay, the first thing, I'll start with LE and premium exclusives, which is there's a mode called disco loops that's qualified by shooting enough spinners that it comes out before disco multiball does. Welcome aboard, Junior. I think the number spins off the top of my head. It's somewhere around 30 or 40. Anyway, when you make enough of it, it starts disco loops, where you shoot more spinners and loops for big points. And because of the feed in the control gate, it feeds back to your right flipper, so you can consistently keep making them through the duration of the timed mode. Some of the battle modes will have that gate open, so you can do more combos. It stays closed during Sabertooth because the pop bumpers play a part in the damaging Sabertooth. A couple more things we added that will also be in the Pro. So right now they're a work in progress, but we have some new little Deadpool modes. So the first one is still a multiball, and we changed the multiball rules in the last release. So it's a three-stage multiball. Stage one, you bash little Deadpool six times. Then it goes to wave two, which you make six ramps or orbits, and they stay lit through the duration of that mode. And then wave three, you lock a ball back in little Deadpool, and then you shoot spinners. you've got 20 seconds, and your spinners are a million a spin, and that's your super jackpot. So the bigger the spinner rip, the bigger your super jackpot, and you can keep doing it. And what's nice about the LE and the premium is that if you shoot the left spinner, it loops back around to your flippers so you can consistently keep feeding it. The other two little Deadpool modes, and then the second one you get to after the multiball is called, is a frenzy, and it's all switch closures are worth X number of points for 30 seconds. and the third one's called bounce where you've got a roving target that goes from dead to oof to pool and it loops back and forth. You have to make three and then the drop targets, that little dead pool, open up and you make the shot inside of him to cash out a big bonus. I think that's about it for now. So let's get some people. Go ahead. All right. Head on over to the Desolate Pinball stream and enjoy the show. One more thing. Remember, your Deadpools like to be waxed, and your ramps want to be WD-40'd, and your game wants to be steep. We set the tone up about seven degrees. They play a lot better. When you set it at six and a half, it somehow feels floaty, believe it or not. Six and a half is way too slow. Internet, I have a quick question for you, actually. Do you want clean-ass audio, Or do you want to hear people chatting and having fun? I'll give you one second to tell me. Hear people. Okay, we'll do both. So we'll put this halfway. Good luck, everyone. You're not staying? Come on. No, I'm going to attend to my own personal little Deadpool. Wow, way to have a kid. Absolutely not. Yes. Take all the pictures. Actually. Wow. Bless you, Morgan. Take pictures. Thank you. All right. So, folks, we want to give a quick shout-out to an awesome group of ladies. This is a ladies' pinball club that is across the country, maybe across the world. I'm unfamiliar. How many – why don't you ladies come in here really quick. So how many Bells and Chimes chapters, roughly, do you think there are here in the United States? We're going to say thousands, okay? Hundreds of millions of thousands. And if they're not bells, they will be bells. They will be bells. We will assimilate all. We'll be calling them bells eventually. Lots of cities. Do you want to give a quick little pitch on what the bells are doing and their sort of, like, mission? Yeah. Yeah. So there's bells and chimes all over the country. If you live in a major city, you should definitely check to see if there's bells and chimes in your area. if you are a female or female identified it is open to all skill levels to all ages but only ladies and lady identified so sorry guys not allowed to be in the group but if you don't have a group there we didn't have a group in Chicago and so we reached out to Eka who started the first one in Oakland and she was all about it And so we started our own in Chicago and have, you know, this is only a small sampling of who's in Bells. We have, you know, 50-plus ladies that come and play with us. Again, all skill levels. 50-5-0, right? Yeah. Yeah. All and love it. Some come from the suburbs. Some come from, like, pretty. Yeah, come from Indiana to play in Chicago to play with us, Bells. So as you can see, we're all wearing this sweet Stern merch. We're matching. I can get my hair down. Stop saying that. I look great. But these are all, these are compliments of Stern for us coming here. They gave us, like, a great tour, and they gave us shirts, and they've been very welcoming. And you can buy all these really cool shirts on their website, and you should buy lots of them. But we'll be modeling these shirts throughout. All right. Thank you, buddy. All right, ladies, feel free to get some four-player games going on. Folks, you're going to hear some really great audio coming from this, as well as being able to hear us from this microphone. So here we go. Sounds good to me, man. You know what? We're going to do us first, and then we're going to do full game audio second. How does that sound, folks? That sounds great? Awesome. Everyone agrees? I think that's perfect. Is it going to be silent, and then us just grunting? No, you can hear it again. But there better be an alarming amount of grunting going on. I have another question. Is this a key to the game? No, it's Deadpool. What do you think of the game? Yeah, what's your plan? Can we draw the back block accidentally? We're not going to do every other word. I don't give a shit, so let's go. All right. If you want to, feel free to introduce yourself if you want. Are you all from Chicago? Hell yeah. Ladies and gentlemen, let's hear it, please. All right, come on. Is it time? Blow it up, buddy. All right. Where am I looking? So this little guy right here is your face. This is your microphone. Cool. Hi, I'm Kate. Moon, bells, and chimes. Okay. Cover. Hi, I'm Rachel. Oh, my God. Thank you. I see you. Sorry. Hit it harder. Sorry, buddy. They're harder! Oh! That's a fun little thing. Oh. Great trickery. I don't know what she did. She's the things at her place. I'll do the things. Okay. Oh, wait. He just told me what to do, and I'm a prophet. I'll tell him on this TV. I'll be more stupid than he is. Okay. Well, I'm on the Internet, and I'm Rebecca, and I play with bells and chimes. And hopefully I won't totally suck. But, let's face it, I don't care. It'll still be fun. There you go. That's all that matters. Oh! I know, I would really go find one. Well, what? Who's player four? Player four is Hillary. Why do we open? I'm supposed to close it. That's why. Hi Internet, I'm Hillary. Oh, you can give them a fake name if you're afraid of them. I'm Heather. What's that? What should I choose? Go Juggernaut. All right. I put favorite here. What? Well, I'm just going to die immediately. Now I'm happy they know my fake name. All right. Heather. Heatherie. All the money comes out of your eyes. My lab teacher at school is on a hockey team with cake? Yeah. Really? Is that that? Yeah, that's awesome. That lab teacher is on a hockey team with cake. Wait, is that? Oh. So, it's good. I'm like sweating. I'm going to go run through his desk and throw him in my cell phone. Check this out. Oh, no. Everyone, thank you for the subs and resubs, folks. Please help me acknowledging all of them. I love you guys. All right. I get serious bitch face when I'm playing pinball you guys so you know please don't take screenshots of my face while I play Okay, alright. Oh, come on. Nice kitty. I'm trying not to blow it as quickly as possible. Let's go, Heather. Nope. That probably wouldn't mess with you, bud. It wasn't. It wasn't. Oh, excellent. Yeah. Oh, no. Thank you, brother. Gotta collect them all. Gotta collect them all. Alright. All right. Give me that cute little unicorn. It's not the easiest cube for me to hit. I like that guy. Yeah, I think so. I do also like this disco. I played way better than you guys. There it is. This little spinning thing at the back is really super fun, you guys. I'm really into it. All right. I'm going to show you how to illustrate the range and skill level that the bell level has. See the real story right here, ladies and gentlemen. Hey, good to meet you. This is something. Nope. No pressure. No pressure. Disco multiball. Hey everybody, I'm Jack Danger. Let's go. So we don't want to turn a mode, we want to choose. Okay, we want to get some freaking control here.
