yeah I'll tell you at the end what's if this game is staying if there's games going what's gonna happen to it essentially we bought it for the review nothing stays nothing stays that's true but I know what how long I'm just being an [] that's what you do so bought it played it played it a heck of a lot you've played it in my house yeah you played it on location at rec bargraph did play similar yeah not too bad you're far off yeah because I didn't really tweak much of mine out of the box yeah things seem to be hitting as one anything weird okay so before we get into it I'm gonna show you an overview yeah all right and bear with me it's a little detailed but I want to start making some of this stuff detailed so that people the reviews yeah reasons why we're grading the things overviews actually give you some information on how to play Deadpool all right everybody let's talk some Deadpool western pinball designed by Jorge Gomez coated by taniel place an artwork by Jeremy Packer aka zombie yet this thing is a beauty to look at a lot of stuff going on so let's go through it together down bottom we have traditional inlanes outlanes from left to right you do have the in-n-outlanes that spells out B oh oh I'm spelling out boom you try to light those up and if you spell out boom you enable the boom button the boom button can be used to complete a shot or collect enough booms before using it for a super boom that's right all right left or right left orbit is the Dazzler shot that's a spinner on the probe it will go up top to you're inlanes it will control it there you'll always drop into the Pops from a left orbit on the probe you try to spell family with the exclamation point doing so is gonna increase your bonus multiplier left ring left ramp goes up 90-degree turn and very quickly comes right back down safely to your left flipper left ramp is also responsible for your weapon shot see the katana is right there give you a littering the modes as well as three inserts that you'll see over here as well to start katana Rama really quick before we move on that left spinner is also going to be responsible for your Dazzler shot for disco modes you hit enough you'll unable disco multiball alright next shot is your Colossus shot it's a little orbit let's see if I can get back in here see you back in there just a little bitty orbits got that metal sticking up another angle for you with a little mini Deadpool that says eat your veggies kids okay but that's your Colossus shot also has this special on it as well cameras not wanting to focus there we go that's close enough you get the idea all right you can also get the click Colossus jackpots through that very important shot here is that scoop the scoop starts battles see how it's blinking right now if I hit it in there it's gonna start a battle we'll talk about that here in a minute it's also where you collect your weapon jackpot and your extra ball The Wolverine shut is a spinner as well and it's a little orbit once you hit it it's going to go up around and connect to your left orbit a significant shot here is the swing just shot this is a bank shot that you can hit if you hit it just right you can bank it tink sneak and goes up this ring doing so will start your play field multiplier you keep hitting those babies and you're gonna see five times play field really quick but very difficult yet satisfying shot pops pops are responsible for ninjas every time you hit a pop and ninja is gonna pop up on your LCD that the Deadpool has to fight those will be signified on the play field is blue shots you build those up so that you can build up jackpot in the ninja multiball let's talk about ninja multiball really quick ninja multiball is your main multiball in the game you see how that's blinking lock crazy wild little ramp shot here so you go through this path it diverts it across the play field then up then around then over this wire form then into a katana sword that's a physical ball locked the ball will stay in there and also eject out that way safely to your red flipper so again lock three balls into the katana and you will have ninja multiball the more ninjas you've defeated during the regular gameplay the higher lose jackpots will be all right how do we forget this in the wing little guy its mini Deadpool also known as wittle Wade this a cool little mechanism here it's drop targets so the drop targets you knock down you hit him and you'll make mini Deadpool multiball eligible knock them all down hit it and then you're gonna see the light flash green right now it's multicolored when splashing green you had another one back in there and when it activates this switch the drop target ami go up and it's gonna physically lock a ball down there and eject another ball for you in play that other ball in play you can have for so long and once you hit this date down it'll drop your second ball for multiball when you're a ninja multiball let's go back katana ninja multiball whenever you're in that if you hit the scoop for the mystery that's your mystery a war to scoop is responsible for mystery right there as well as your modes in your quest but when you're in multiball hit that scooped edible okay moving on right orbit right orbit it's gonna be your chimichanga shot okay so right a little bit let's see BZ ah right here okay red already comes up it goes all the way eight now that orbit King all the way around all the way back around to your left here's the thing so down here I think we're about done you've got real quick and then we'll go over the rules over here left stand up spell dead see this right stand up spell Pole important to know okay so what are you supposed to do in Deadpool here's here's how it goes guys damn here you see these villains we have three main villains in your batters so when you're battling you battle juggernut mystique Sabretooth if you defeat all three of those you play Sauron okay well Zac how to you qualify better well upon bowl number one battle will be lit for you and ready to go but if you do not defeat that individual or if you defeat them in you're ready for your next battle the dead targets over here light your battles conversely your pool targets over here will light your locks and pretty simple right if you light all eight dead and pull together it keeps track all of them is going to light your regenerate which is a ball save right here and it's also going to light your mystery Ward right up y'all okay so that's the three main villains you've got these two gnarly little boogers down here the t-rex and the main lift on those are your quest most think quest modes how do you qualify quest mode Zach well you hit the right orbit that is going to enable your chimichangas chimichangas are gonna go up there it's gonna be a punch card and you get it you can eat so many chimichangas to get that quest up and rolling on the playfield these are RGB multicolored inserts see them right there and affair and back there those are gonna like yellow yellows are for chimichangas you collect enough chimichangas and that quest mode is gonna light up again when you're playing these guys if you don't hit it enough correct shots to defeat juggernaut mystique saber-toothed t-rex Megalodon if you do not hit enough and beats you you have to qualify that mode again to open it up you can start where you left off but you have to qualify the game which can be tricky pull you this guy looking like a steel Greg bone it's mr. sinister now I believe mr. sinister is reached by completing juggernaut completing mystique completing Sabretooth completing Sauron completing t-rex completing and defeating Megalodon as well as achieving super jackpots in a couple of the multi balls pretty difficult thing to do overall beautiful game this is Deadpool all right mr. Bohm let's start with our first category art the art art is done by Jeremy Packer aka zombie Yeti our first impressions gave these individuals if you guys want to go back for even more details yeah gave us allah gave you guys a lot of insight as to our feelings on the art of stern pinball's deadpool yes how do you feel about I rated it an a an a hey after all of that it's a little cluttered you got red balls yes just because I critiqued it a little bit doesn't mean that I think that it's not bad art it's fantastic and it's exactly don't above everybody else yeah it's exactly what you said like in person those high Reza's blew it out a little too much in person it's a lot more it is a lot more subtle and it feels a lot better in person not backtracking I'm not beep be fiddling no no stuff I'm just it's the truth and I mean like I said we a yearly boat no stuff it's like sweaty bugs but it's Yeti ballers but yeah I mean like it's still great hard it really is what's your favorite part of the art package favorite thing do you like the playfield the cabinet the back glass what this is pro pro only remember pro only this is your this is your Edition poovu that's funny these two talk about pros but the only thing they're pros at is being professional [] goblins I don't know if I like this the most but I will tell you that it stands out the most and that is the collection of characters okay in the center and Deadpool in the center I think the playfield stands out more I don't know if that's my favorite Universal piece of art above cabinet back glass but that stands out and it sticks in my head it's very memorable yeah very memorable okay yeah it is that is the pin yeah pull in the middle it is katana yeah alright I guess what I'm at a plus Jeremy Packer de Plus this is phenomenal this guy belongs in pinball Jeremy come on don't don't leave pinball we need it too bad yeah so now this is a plus hour you'd be hard-pressed to find anything that compares to this I think it's beautiful I love the cabinet now the cabinet on the pros a little more muted than those high-res in the wrong direction I believe I loved how that pro high-res picture popped and in real life it's a little bit more muted the playfield is gorgeous but you here's the thing bad glass cabinet and playfield is not my favorite part of the art any guess as to what my favorite part of the art is he's like Wells's left the legs no it's the slings the slings oh my god they're three-dimensional they hang over the the regular sling shape and there's their stand-ups they're like a three dimensional they are beautiful he's one of them he's got his little unicorn and on the other one he's riding his little unicorn float and also that the Zack dislikes a unicorn the details the plastic on this game are phenomenal everybody complains about a little plastic you guys it's pretty awesome backboard is not just a decal and it's three-dimensional they did oh I love that I also love the Easter eggs so you've got these little blurbs if he's he's saying finally we're doing this or he's saying I picture pinball being a glass over a world like those little tributes those little nods of his artistry to the panel's start doing the 3d stuff you know that kind of started with Iron Maiden you know even the bet the backboard there yeah but being like that and I think that's a definition it does it adds it's not an overly expensive thing to add a lot to the game hmm it's an A+ this one of the most beautiful pinball machines out there mm-hmm let's move on so people have heard hurt shots and layout we couldn't rank this in our first impressions because quite frankly we had not shot it yet now we have shot at how many games would you say you've put on Deadpool so these people know that you know we played this them meaning 450 usually at 50 yeah yeah I haven't checked my at that I haven't checked my audience I think I'm probably 125 say I played at your house quite humble 40 and then I'm elated at rec bar for like a week straight yeah so shots and layout but there's a reason that I played it that much that we'll get into later oh well coming attractions yeah shots and layout man this is a Jorge Gomez layout now I'm somewhat critical at times of our home IDO me we love Him we love George I love George but everybody has their certain designer feel that they like when they're playing a game yes you tend to like Jorge Gomez game I do like doing my his games like I don't mind how much do you like it would you rate it pretty high I'm gonna be - and bets there I do you want me to go first on why I'm gonna be - go ahead man so I made a I'll give you mine I'm gonna see I I don't think she's great oh I like I like Gomez games I don't mind the clunkiness so much I don't mind there's your : layouts clunky you know they're clunky they have hard you know they can tear you Johnny mnemonic is hard Lord the Rings even some that stuff clunks oh right the horror chiller Batman 66 hits hard it clunks around it is what it all that really doesn't those pre students precept never mastered Corvette smooth game but so I don't mind that because they can still be a fun game okay but this game there's just nothing smooth to it oh you're really the [] poster boy for smooth yourself Oh Greg and even the clunky shots they're just not they're not necessarily fun oh and you sound like a see with me but but it's still something about because it's unique it's gonna layout the layout got it more like I really liked it he tried something different I love that and that was not a typical fan Gomez no no it's not it's over that Jorge nice job I tell ya I'm Missler Gomez I love that he stepped out like an ox and took the chance and I really wanted that left ramp to work which way you're talking about the back ramp yes we'll just call it front ramp back from Graham back because they're both on the left side yeah okay yeah the back ring okay the pass-through huh yes but that shot I heard people say you know what that shot you don't really hit it that often it's kind of a tough shot that was like a you weight target on that yeah you that's a tough ass shot it doesn't matter if you hit it right no it still doesn't always make it through and that thing cuz I think that's the coolest shot that's the shot that stands out the most and for that shot to not be makeable like I would almost say like I don't even know if I've made that shot 50% of the time that I shoot it in no I hit it hit right you said correct it does not always go through there and that shot stands at me you want to hit that shot you want to see that cool feature and it just does not shot feels a bit flawed to me it does fit it's a beautiful shot when it works because it's smooth yes but Boyle boy if there's like point 1 degree difference it's it's not smooth it feels unfair like Ghostbusters ooh careful not the whole game that shot that feels like it Ghostbuster shut up it does it does it feels like something come on I've hit the damn thing 12 times I'd give it to me twice exactly and it's just like why because I want it to work and when it does work it's nice okay but it happened so quick that's part of my beef where my beef is that shot yes um here's the thing hey you guys know why everybody likes ramps right do you know why people don't think about this people why do you like ramps we'll get a we'll get a bad answer here cause you can hit them and they're smooth and everybody says they're smooth you go up in the air no that's not why you like ramp shots you want to know why you like ramp shots you like ramp shots this is true because it safely comes back to your flippers can you breathe what other get another free feature in a game brings it safely back to your flippers nothing besides a ramp or a buck a buckle bring it on a wire form but you got to go safely those flippers that's why people like them the problem with this is your left ramp is very safe not the most satisfying shot is very quick and very Batman II we did them but the the other ramp you can't rely on no so you're not getting that ball to the right flipper consistently so because of that you end up feeling a bit more out of control than you want to be that's my assessment yeah with that my other assessment is okay the ramp alone you know what if this was the only shot in there that I had problems with I'd let it go because it's unique okay how do you mess up orbits alright here's my thing I'm gonna go in a little bit of a rant here when people talk about flow they talk about the smoothness of the game a lot of times the smoothness comes from ramps and orbits right it's not gonna be a captive balls I mean anything like add not gonna be a stand-up target drop target cam you're not gonna get it from that you're gonna get it from things that bring the ball freshly back to the flipper orbits and ramps do that here's a problem the orbits on this game man left shot is the smoother shot in the entire game the left orbit smoother shot in the game the problem is on the pro this is just the pro review you get stopped by the pops up top yeah that's no longer a flowy smooth shot you have a nice smooth shot that ends in nothingness right right orbit I said it from day one and you guys I'm a broken record I get it but I think I'm right here the right orbit because it doesn't have ball guides how about I take my balls and guide them write down your chimichanga hole a the shooter Lane is built into the right orbit so you go a lot of times you hit the right orbit it falls back into the shooter land yes I've had that a few times that does not feel good yeah and then if even if it doesn't it can hit the side railing about the kadubic yeah you hear the orbits you should never hear in orbit yeah the only orbit you should hear is this ready that's it and if it if it didn't fall into the shooter Lane I could get past it a little bit because it's just like and it's just different you got two ramps that aren't smooth no Bank on the orbit it's not smooth but it doesn't bother me tremendously because it goes around goes around that right because it goes around all the way it is different it kind of throws you off but that could just be because your custom to smooth orbits all right I'm so I'm not gonna get mad about that but that fall I'm betting the shooter lane it's I'm not done yet okay so can we address this Colossus shot it's a colossal mistake sorry the puns here but I'm not trying to be mean Greg but what is that inner orbit to the left of the scoop what is it it's like a wire form if there's a sheet of metal and then it did you go up air and it clink clink and it comes back I want to like this game this game begs to be liked get to see is to see that what I do like though mr. Gomez if you're watching this and I apologize but this sneak shot the sneaked shot the the bank shot up the ramp the bank shot at the ring off the target stained up target ding ding up around love that shot that's innovation like no other and we'll get to that in innovation as well a lot of cool shots even the drop target assembly to little Deadpool don't mind it that's a feel-good shot too so there are some positives here but sorry guys I'm gonna see on this one all right anything else touch no feel like a bad guy but I gotta be truthful right I do share a lot of your sentiment this game modes yeah - mini wizard mode you're basically battle in three guys yeah you got two quest modes yeah you're like three multi balls yeah the problem I have is that you can't stack a whole hell of a lot like your disco multiball what am i doing there yeah going for a super jackpot I guess I can't stack it yeah mini Deadpool we'll get to that but the mini Deadpool thing you have to prime it because if you actually lock a ball modes shut off you can't open up a mode I would love to see in a code update you locking a ball and still being able to start a mode up uh I've come to terms that I like stackable stuff that's my main and lost where I love lost world yeah but you can't stack anything you're repairing that it's still kind of a stern yeah well it's not that it's just the fact that you can't stack it yeah and I don't I I I've kind of come to the conclusion that I don't really like that like I like to build progressed a little bit because that's what I like a multiball for I don't necessarily like multiball for points I like multi balls for a progression gresham I like it it helps me progress and I will say the positive thing about these multi balls great is that they are fun fine they are fun there's they're getting to this here's a ver y positive thing about Deadpool 10yo did a terrific job coding these multi balls because getting to the super jackpot is more fun on Deadpool than I would say 95% of games I've ever played I actually looked forward to going for super jackpots and these multi balls otherwise restaurant so that's cool the modes themselves they're cool as well it's it's crazy great it's almost like the actual mode like your pet playing t-rex there are specific strategies for t-rex yeah when you're playing Megalodon specific nice unique creative ways that that's coded the problem is when they're sitting apart and the foundation it's not cohesive yet I don't get to stack multi balls I almost feel like they're they're out to pasture by themselves and there's no there's nothing to line them all up yeah right I get disco multiball over and left-field by himself yeah you know I've got many Deadpool that I can add but it screws me up because I try to start a mob of the block yeah right the modes are fine maybe there's not enough modes I think maybe there's not enough there I think that's what I'm saying about the depth mm-hmm is there's not enough there because I think you can run through mystique and juggernaut I think you can run through those mystique isn't a fairly not easily but you can be doable there doable for most people I think honestly and I think it's a little too accessible maybe that's it maybe it's it's not necessarily it's too exciting that is tough that tan yo I'm gonna give you a standing ovation for is that I like that they're there yeah they're not tough you you should the shot you'll get through yeah but if you've done and they defeat you you've got to enable that mode again yeah kind of like you do a lost world yeah so you've got an able it again that's a monster if you don't get through those quest modes t-rex and Megalodon you got to get those chimichangas again just to get the thing started yeah I like the difficulty there yeah this by no means it's an easy you know it's not an easy game it's just I want more to do oh I'll give you more to do Zack for starters how about polishing a lot and honestly like I innovation wise I still give it to George for that ramp it it's not necessarily functioning properly it's good but that's a hell of its innovation you can't see Michelle I know who can get that ironed out and you can make that shot to where it's a little more accessible a little more maybe should you have to tweak it out of the box no but I'm sort of saying future games like if he tried to put something like that in a future game I love the I love the attempt - yeah and could make it work better that's awesome it's so close though because when you hit it yeah it's like a laser it is it's fat that is always don't even you almost can't even enjoy it because it's so you know what else is innovative that we didn't really talk about in code what this is basically has an in-game fighting system you're fighting like the old 90s 1890s games like the street fighters it's pretty good but I'm still sort of mixed on but to me great that's innovation that is innovation have you seen another game like that no it's well we've kind of seen x-men like but this is my business like a it's like an arcade but this is my problem with that is I feel that that pulls a little too much away from Deadpool okay like if you made a 90 in the fighters game like if you did Street Fighter or you did something else you made a mystery flatterfit-- it makes more sense so the comic book that doesn't to me it no it doesn't make sense to me that it's so that it's so much revolves around an arcade ish not this way it kind of makes sense to me really one like for the literally no the game revolves around I know but comics was like a throwback to the 80s 90s comic book she got videogame systems it's all a hobby ish yeah and if it's gonna be thrown in together anywhere why not Deadpool he blasts that much of it I think that it's cool to have it but like literally the entire game I'm okay with this based around that I'm okay that I'm not okay with mode sometimes just being fighting modes like x-men I'd like to see Deadpool do more stuff I'd do it to you know give me further journey of beating mystique make it to where every time I hit the third shot she's on a cliff or she's getting ready to jump through a building window or so give me a little bit of a story instead of a passion sward that's what yeah it was too repetitive okay speaking of repetitive okay you yeah your disco multiball spinners is on the screen as well so I like that yeah the only thing I'm kind of with you I'm good one in the video game the video game aspect is good what I'm not as good with and why it's not an a for me is because when you add all of these things together it doesn't cohesively make sense so we've got video games arcade we've got a comic book Deadpool on the play field yes then we have kind of crappy graphic mini Deadpool yeah and then we've got real Deadpool that pops up out of the 4th wall well many did pose not really crappy graphic it's just a it's a completely different it's a different it's a different style even the rendering the smooth it's all different yes so all four of those categories don't make sense but if we got rid of all of them and just had the video game arcade element I'm okay with that yeah but the mini Deadpool it's got it's a clash of styles got to go which I don't know why there's just nothing better cohesion like like even in the wacky weird world Deadpool that that jumble of he does have a lot of different stuff going on there it does but it still I don't know maybe a I don't know maybe there's someone missing no and encased Chicago gaming company that's what CGC means to me you can't even open them so I couldn't even if I wanted to you just like the art hopefully yeah they're beautiful like when you when you get a new book like that that's CGC dureena there is something so magical I don't care who you are you can hate people that like comics and things get in your lab you you take that up and you feel that in your hands and you look at that more touch it with your oily fingers some of them yeah I do because I don't that summer books are expensive because they're awesome oh now people are gonna hate Ryan Reynolds desk dangling is filthy don't ya it's not just like inappropriate language it's beautiful these cutting people's heads oh yeah and they don't have to be Ryan Reynolds but I think this it does when people see know what I'm saying when people see that when they see Deadpool they relate to the movie okay so even if it was a comic book version but it acted like Ryan Reynolds did in the film then if they resonate it could throw a little flavor in there yeah oh cool this is like a comic book video game version of Deadpool yes I get they would take that but when it's a little time when it's too tame and it's too clean and they expect the Ryan Reynolds movie yeah that's what I think can hurt it and I'm not gonna blame Stern but then again they chose to pick this and they knew the limitations when they chose this license yeah so for that I'm into b-plus look I think it's great nothing's great but we're talking hard and our grades are a little yeah you're always enjoyability how well do you like playing this game you're pretty well for you it's low but still a piece I'm gonna be - oh that's like tanking Greg's danger yeah so the reference that I was a good grade making before mmm the reason I put so many games on it and this is just truthful and I've told you this though I kept I don't know what I kept playing it because I wanted to like it better hmm I wanted to keep playing it because I felt there was something I was missing hmm like I it wasn't grabbing me I wanted to like it I wanted to like it I've heard a lot of people like it and it looks great and in the layout looks fantastic everything looks good but Darr Scott on pen side he's one of our fans he looks good he said when he played it he just did not have that it that x-factor it just did not have that it he didn't know why okay and i 100% shared that sentiment and i can't put my finger on that's what my grades are so high like we not lost there are pretty good but everything is good the grades are actually pretty good but there's something I just some missing yeah that I can't put my finger on I can't tell you that it's shots I can't tell you it's code maybe it's because nothing stands out so wonderfully except for art hey yeah honestly they don't play there in the sword you don't play the oh no no and you can't hit the sword it's hard that you can't get a ninja multiball it's so difficult so maybe that sort of you frustrating is it so beautiful and it's got this badass toy but like you said you can't play the art and they so hard to get that sword what kid art is never gonna keep you coming back for another game no it's important because it's sitting in your game room well and it's gonna be the first thing that pulls you in that's right it gets you there it gets you that it might not keep you coming it's not gonna keep the quarters flowing this is not a pin for me that I have to play another game I agree yeah blow it up play I have a ton of fun like okay it's fun I agree and then when it's done I'm like I don't need to play that again I agree I'm not saying that I don't enjoy it yeah does that do you like it but it's not it's like you said I think it's so well-balanced this is I'm look guys I'm gonna c+ it's not the most enjoyable pin for me mm-hmm but the reason my grades I think I'm reflecting what you were saying a little bit just better spoken it's essentially this each category has fantastic points yeah fantastic points but it falls by the wayside or it balances itself out with an equally disappointing point yeah right I agree music can call us it balances itself out right deck displaying animations what a cool concept Street Fighter 2 kind of arcade graphics that's awesome that's an eighth but then you throw in mini Deadpool your fourth wall breaking then you've got you're not doing much in the modes visually it balances itself out yeah so at the end of the day I think that's why I enjoy ability for me is to see Pleasant I'll have to the decision to take on this license knowing that the restrictions and that was the case but I think they would have been stupid to not even with the restriction okay for this reason because I exactly you put them in any kind of family people are gonna flock to it this is perfect family pin this is a perfect location pin this is a pin that I don't need to own but if it's on location I'll be ready to play yeah fun yeah a lot of fun I think it will well things gonna earn better than a lot of these eye things out there right now that's why Guardians are so big in there as well because people can relate to it yeah so I like that aspect especially euro the other pro is the the pro itself is pretty fully featured yeah not bad you're gonna get this pin a lot cheaper than you're gonna get some
