## Transcript

🎵 Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. We'll be right back. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Hello, and welcome to the stream. My name is George. This show is Don't Panic Flip. and the Scotty P welcome and of course the Pinsomniac welcome. I wish you were on the stream. But pretty soon, based on the conversation from Discord, the Pinsomniac will be streaming from his location with hopefully some new games and super excited for you then. And heard it was coming. Oh yeah, so is the new code out for TNA? I read on Twip this morning that there was, was it this morning? Yeah, today's Tuesday, that there was some new audio coming, I think, for the standard song. There was also some, like, some remixes going on with the album, but not that the new code had actually dropped. So, well, we'll see. Either way, what are we playing? What are we doing tonight? We are going to try and destroy some reactors. There we go. And hopefully this is coming through okay. Yeah, yeah, you can see it there. Oh, I'm not sure if it's out yet. Okay. And Phaser Pinball, welcome to the stream. Uh, so what do we got? We have, uh, we got the Tilt Bob cam in tonight, otherwise known as the Nemesis cam. Let's, uh, it should be able to keep an eye, look, I'm not even doing anything and it's moving. This pin is so sensitive to movement. Uh, oh, uh, god, that looks good. Awesome, man. Yeah, I'm glad, like, I'm just not doing anything and it's moving a lot. So that's when we tilt. We're gonna be able to see why Exactly extra tilt warnings. I hope we get them from the mystery Let's jump in you guys keep throwing out questions at some point. I will walk through basic gameplay So, what I want to do right now, A, I completely wasted the ball save. You don't want to do that. What I do want to do, though, is get into multiball. So, to do that, we're going to lock some balls. Cool, cool, cool, cool. That was a fun start. Great first ball. Great. That is the, that's about the level that you want to try and target with your first ball. We're going to use that ball save. Wow. All right, let's see if we can actually hit that lock shot. Uh, when did you start Tilt Bob Cam? Uh, Pensomniac, We started that, I don't know, like maybe three or four sessions ago. There we go. Finally hit that. Nice and calm. Get some good backspin on it there. All right. Now we're ready to go. What we need to do first is complete the grid, and you do that by hitting these three targets here. Those are very dangerous targets to hit. They often result in the ball draining. So we only want to hit those while we're in multiball. Right now we have two balls locked in the Denisi lock up top. All we have to do is hit this shot right here. Both balls will drop. We complete the grid. Then we have to start the reactor by hitting the scoop. Then we have to overheat the reactor by getting it up into the middle. Once that goes overheated, which means that the dial up top hits 100, we then have to hit the destroy target. For every reactor you kill, another destroy target is activated. for each of them the destroy targets are going to be random it can be either the D, the A or the R in RAD this destroy target, that destroy target or two times on the pop bumper thing there's the rules in a nutshell there's a couple of other little things that we can talk about at some point especially with the saves but if you have questions, throw them out is the decals that are making me think this table, yes, the Pinsomniac It, uh, absolutely. We put not just decals, uh, although we did put decals on here, we, we put in the, uh, the green etched plastic and replaced all the clear plastic so everything has a, a cool green outline now. And Lord Howard Hurts, welcome to the stream. Uh, I like the decals. How long did the rest of them take you? So we have the standard decals on these targets, the two destroys, the cool three grid targets there, the circle up top. And I feel like there's a couple of more. And then I also got the decals that go here on top of each of the three flippers. I think I put a decal accidentally on the spinner, but it looks great, so I'm not all that upset about it. Awesome, man. Thank you. Multiball. Cool, we didn't want any of those balls anyway, apparently. Wow! That was the... I was going to say worst multiball, but actually, let's just go with worst ball of the night. That was pretty awful. Well, I'm super good at staying up late these days. Alright, here we go. We've got seven seconds. Nailed it. So we got the last grid target, lit the scoop to start the reactor. Now we're starting our first reactor on ball three. That's not good. On ball three, it'd be great if you were on, like, reactor four or five. We call this one a practice round. You can backhand that left orbit. Here we go. See if we can do it again. Not even close. It's cool. We're going to call that one a throwaway game. Also, if you've been following along, And I've been struggling with, I don't know if anybody else, by the way, Scotty P, that's the name of the game in TNA, and Dice, yes, we are playing TNA tonight. You'll notice we're drinking Coke. Past few weeks now, I've been struggling with migraines after small amounts of alcohol. I went five days, four days really, without even having a little bit, just nothing, and had no headaches. last night on stream I had half a beer and was almost almost couldn't get out of bed this morning I woke up at 3, I had to pound a bunch of Excedrin woke up at 6, had to pound a bunch of Excedrin so maybe no more no more alcohol for a while which is very disappointing if you guys have been on the show I really, really enjoy Colorado Colorado local brews. Let's get some backspin on that one. It's a sad day in Streamville, but at the end of the day, I still get to play pinball, so I'm not that upset. Nice and easy. So ball one, we've got two balls up there. We're going to go into a multiball, try and complete the grid. And Jenga. One more shot on the grid. haven't hit it. Got it. And we started. Here we go. Nice and easy. All right, cool. Let's see if we can hit this right orbit. Not even close. That's cool. That's cool. We can do up and over. That's gonna hurt. Come on. Little bit of control here. There we go. All right, left orbit. That sucked. That also was not great. What cam is down on the tilt bob? Is that a 920? Yes, it is. A 920. And look at that tilt bob. It's not even doing anything, and it's just moving. Now, that was a move. What's a- oh yeah, look at that silt pop. Whoo! Alright, uh, now the question is do we go back into a multiball, and there... there's justification for locking a ball here. I get another attempt at a plunge up into the middle, uh, which obviously I nailed. Here we go. So that was the ball save mechanic. I'll take that since I apparently can't hit shots tonight. Get up there. There it is. No, no, no, no. One more. One more. I don't feel like I really want multiball right now, but let's do it. There we go. The spinner was enough to get the reactor going. Looks like we just need the one destroy. All right, here we go. We've got a mystery shot and a start reactor. A lot easier to do from a backhand. Apparently not. Let's try that again. There it is. All right. Mystery 50,000 points. Not super helpful. Disabled tilt pop. That would be an amazing award. Moving without doing anything sounds like an issue to take up with Mr. Denisey. Look at this thing going. I think it's just the vibrations from the music. Ah! There we go. Reactor number two. Run. Ball two. I've had better. I've had better starts. But you know what? Oh, come on. It's not over until it's over. Ball down. Give me the ball today. Alright, here we go. We've got Destroy and Destroy. Manage to miss them both. Oh yeah, MPT3K, welcome to the stream. How about trying the HDMI out on your TNA screen to OBS sometime? I would actually really like that. You still need to get the scores, though, at the top. And... All right, game. Seems a tad excessive. All right. The question is, can you backhand the destroy? Apparently you can. There we go. Just got to dial in those shots. There we go. There we go. Oh. So, same thing, just over and over again. The rules on this game are not complicated. The game is just really freaking hard to do well. Alright, we need one more shot. There. There we go. and reactor started. Extra ball. Get over there! Oh, we still need the A over there. Geez, I wasn't even paying attention. Let's go A. Missed it. Twice. Three times. Woo! Alright, alright. What do we do here? Do we go for the multiball? We start working towards that. Uh, phaser pinball. I almost destroyed reactor six, so I guess five reactors destroyed is my, uh, is my max. That was perfect. Thank God I went for the, for the, the multiball there. Uh, I'm working on getting some direct screen output for the stern tables I have access to. Yeah, please, man, if you figure out how to do it, that would be great. Alright. And, agreed, I, I do, I, going back up and looking at it, Scotty, and it is, it is definitely eat the subwoofer. Here we go. Hey, let's do it. There it is. There's the ball lock. I shouldn't have done that. I should have gone for, hey, we got a free game. Oh. I should have been going for the grid while I had a ball save, but I didn't. That's fine. Alright, that's cool, that's cool. Nice and easy. Alright, come on, come on, we can hit this from the left, it's not that hard. There it is. So we're back in multiball, same thing over and over again. Just going to let those go. Working on the grid. Uh, that was not good enough. Alright, let's get back into multiball. Oh, ha ha ha. We even had the save on that one, and I just needed to go left it, because it, yeah, it wraps. It wraps. You gotta remember, and by you I mean me, that it wraps. It was, uh, I had white on S, and it would have been one click to put it on the E, instead I tried to hit it three times really fast, and that was three times too slow. I guess two times too slow. Nice. When Jcat is over at West, I only hit three. So, do you think Scotty D's next game will be as good as this? Well, it has ramps, right? I mean, that, can it possibly be, actually, I don't know. Amazing musician. I absolutely love the style of this game. I love the character. I enjoy everything about this pinball machine. so I think it's going to be hard to match this, let alone top it. And as far as, I mean, if you're going to compare it to movies, there's not a ton, although they do exist, but there's not a ton of movies where the sequel is better than the original. I mean, you got Aliens, and that's debatable, as opposed to Alien. and we're not even going to count Alien Resurrection or the... Wow. That game did not like that. Alright, let's try locking again. Here we go. Uh, what else? That sucks. Man, I will take it. I will take it. That was really awful. I will also take that Lazarus. Nice and easy. We still have not... Man. That was really disappointing. It was a little... It was smooth, and... No, it just didn't work out. All right, what else did we get here? For sequels, we get Aliens. Okay. MPT3K was with me on that one. That Tilt-Pop is swinging. It's triggering my OCD. Dude, look at it! I'm not even touching the pin right now! I gotta get out the tilt again soon. And let me know when you come down. Empire, Terminator... Okay, yeah, Terminator 2 is definitely better than Terminator. As good or better. Right, right, right. So, definitely not Indiana Jones, because Temple of Doom was nothing compared to Raiders of the Lost Ark. Uh, what else had a better sequel? Uh, not Pirates of the Caribbean. I think the third movie was the best, but not a lot of people agree with me on that one. But I think universally everyone can agree the second one is awful. Let's lock a ball! Too hard. Ah! Let's block another ball. Good. Feel the hate flow through. That one's a good move. I want to say. There we go. Center it again. And the Jackist! Welcome! And Lakeshow! Welcome! Evil Dead 2, definitely better than Evil Dead. I gotta agree on that one. Army of Darkness, though! Like, Army of Darkness is where it's at. There we go. We're really having a hard time getting just a feel for the flippers on this. We be right back All right kind of forgot what I was aiming for there Nice and easy, nice and easy. There it is. I think that's reactor one. And this is ball three. Jeez. Nope. Eh! We're good with that game. Ah, how do you get a free center of this guy? There we go. Rush Hour 2. Okay, yeah, Rush Hour 2. Eh, it wasn't really bad, because Rush Hour wasn't bad. Yeah, and playing any game, and then playing TNA, or I'm guessing it might be spooky games in general, but the flippers feel funky. Let's do it again. And speaking about funky flippers, where's the level on this guy? Did it come off? I feel like there was a level on here. Huh. No level. Alright, have the ball save, let's hit that, hit it! And now we can work on our multiball. Gonna get a ball save on that, that is so nice! Here we go. First ball lock. That'll work. It is spooky pinball. All right, how are you? Yeah, that is swinging. Let's just give it a sec. Let's just give it a sec. Yeah, I'm not sure, Pinsomniac, about Rush Hour 2. Over Rush Hour. Alright, we got one more on the grid, and there we go. And that counted, actually. And a triple drain. That was great. It's cool. It's cool. Thank you, game, for wasting my ball save. Uh, I'll take a ball lock. That That was a very dirty ball lock. That's not going to get there. Alright. Let's try that again. There we go. Uh-oh. Somebody did something. SpheroFire, thank you very much for that host. If I was wearing a hat, I would take it off. And at Zero Fire, thank you very much for the follow. Grrrr. Alright, we got our first destroy! Let's try that again, shall we? There it is. Awesome. So, by the way, on that shot, if you have it trapped up on the right and you don't want to try a post-transfer, here's a shot that's been working about 20% of the time, which is to, just shy of a straight-up shaft, if you can hit this corner right here with the ball, it will sometimes bounce into that destroy over there. That's what I was aiming for. I think I did it in two or three shots. Uh, let's see here. Tilt-bob on constant video loop. I, uh, I wish. Let's, there you go. I need to... It's kind of hard to get a good tilt-bob camera in there. I have electrical tape holding the door closed on the contraption I'm using to mount the camera. So it's all kind of just pressed in there. It's a little funky, but I feel like the payoff is great. You really get to see the tilt-bob, and that's awesome. and let's see here, definitely as good, and if we're talking this way, we gotta talk about other sophomore non-slumps, okay, I'm good at that, like Spielberg and Jaws, oh, like stop Morik efforts. Alright. Locks are lit, as she says. Yep, that was very quick. Am I going to get a ball? I got a ball, Dave! I will take it! Aw! here we go now the ball lock and up in the middle that looks good and here we go for Jenga looks like we need two shots here on the grid One more shot. Got it. All right. Reactor number two started? I don't even know what we're doing anymore. Yep, alright, so we are on reactor number two. We are still lined up. Okay, cool. So we can hit either the right or the left orbit, regardless of which side we go. They are both lit pink right now, which means that the top thingy up there will stop the ball from going all the way around and drop it down to the middle. That's where we need this to go. The question is, do we go for the backhand? which is really tough, or the right orbit, which is equally tough. I'm going to try the backhand. Yep, that totally works. I'm going to go ahead and take the lane save. Went the wrong way on that again! Come on. Come on. Ball save. Ball save. There's one. And... Almost. Initiated the balls. There it is. Got it. Alright, so we're gonna let the Tilt Bob cool down. It's a cool game. Woo! Tilt Bob, how you doing? Whoa! Whoa! That Tilt Bob is crazy! Calm down, Mr. Tilt Bob, Jesus! I want to check it right now just to make sure it's really moving that much. There's no reason for your movement, sir. Nice. Here we go. We're going to reset. Nice and easy, nice and easy That was not nice and easy Woo! Oh dear lord Lowered. Wow. Toto Bien, welcome to the stream. You're just in time to see me not be able to make a really easy lock shot. There we go, finally. Proving that the pinball gods are just and nice. Give me a ball save. Yeah. Yeah. Whoo. All right. That ball lock from the left has been really tough tonight. All right. One more. Get in there. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. Aw. Not great. Well, we got the reactor. unlocked. Do we go to try and start the reactor, or do we work towards multiball? I think we kind of got to work towards multiball. All right, now that we got it on the left, I'm going to attempt to start the reactor and grab the mystery. Hopefully it's a tilt warning. Oh shoot! Lock's lit! That is one of the best things you can get besides extra tilt warnings. Alright, let's see if we can plunge up. Yeah! We're going to get another mystery. 50,000 points. That sucks. There's another ball lock. Let's see if we can plunge up. Woo! Alright, here we go. I'm going to let these guys drain. That did not work. Too hard. way too hard, and I lost the multiball, that was a pretty awful multiball, all right, great, great, great, great, yeah, we just, we nailed it, there we go, reactor three, Alright, what do we need? The R, and we need to hit the pop bumper twice. There's one. There's one. Two. And... I'm fine with it accidentally hitting I don't feel the need to actually do this on purpose that would be completely fine with me I'm like getting hit up here Alright, let's do this. Let's see if we can do the same thing where we kind of try to shat it, get it to bounce off and into the R. We actually almost shat. Cool, so this is working out well. Alright, we're gonna get there, we're gonna get there. What are we... oh, this is the third reactor. And... ah, really? Wow, that R is apparently really hard to hit. How did, how would that not hit? That, that felt really good. You know what? Screw it. I'm going multiball. Like 18 shots on the damn R. Let's just give up. We are banking off the rad targets more than we're actually making the R shot into the, yeah, whatever, multiball. Like, something better hit it, right? Finally! Why? Look at that tilt, Bob! Whoa! Alright. One more. One more. All right. That did not work out well. but we did start the reactor. Okay, so this is four. Yeah, this is four. There we go. Oh, actually, so really interesting, once you hit four, it starts messing with you on the play field. Notice only the right side is pink. That is, and you can see that, right? Yeah, only the right side is lit up, So only if I shoot the right orbit will it stop the ball. If I shoot the left orbit, it's going to completely orbit. Yep. There we go. Speaking about shatzing and... I feel like I shat the orbit quite poorly there. Alright. And there's a ball lock. That was awful. Alright, that's fine. We're gonna play better, I guess. Enjoy a little bit of Coke first. I got to play quite a bit of Jurassic Park on Sunday night. So I went to a tournament. Was it the tournament? No. What did we... Shit. I don't think Vertzilla is on right now, but that was Sunday night. Yes. Okay, cool. So Sunday night there was a tournament, and after the tournament we decided to go over to the Lyric and play some Jurassic Park. What a fun game. I love seeing... it's being played on screen so much right now, so you really get a good feel for the game. And I'm still excited to get one. I'm still fairly certain when Metallica goes this weekend... Unless something else crazy comes up. Like a really good deal on something I've really been interested in. Like maybe if an Indiana Jones popped up in really good condition or a Tron. All right, so we got one shot away from completing that. There it goes. All right, that'll work. Extra tilt warning. I will take that. Nice bit of backspin there. All right, since we're on this side, Nice and easy Left I know that we have an extra tilt warning But that doesn't mean we need to use it Uh, yeah Getting to four reactors is far from awful MPT-3K I want to get to nine And four just isn't there But thank you Um, JP looks great We just got our Jurassic at FT at Free Gold Watch today. Yeah, it's fun. My biggest issue, and I noticed, I forget who, oh, it was Al Anonymous, who was on earlier today, who was playing Jurassic Park, and I think the guy with him was really questioning what needed to be done next. Al obviously has his head wrapped around that game really well, but if you don't know what you're doing, if you haven't read up on the rules, it seems like the software is right now at least not super intuitive. It's not as simple as hit the flashing lights. Like Star Trek, there's no question what you're supposed to do. Now, if you want to get intricate and do some cool stuff, there's some things you can do in Star Trek to make it more complicated, but you know what needs to be done. And I feel like Jurassic Park is kind of missing that right now. I'm going to let that drain. Get a new ball. And that sucks. Whatever. One reactor done. One ball. Ball two. And... there's that. Way too much. Also way too much. Look at that tilt-bop! Look at that! I'm just wrapping my head around Wonka, and now I gotta learn Jurassic. Oh man, so at the tournament, I couldn't play pinball. It's pretty typical for me now. Anytime I get into a tournament, I just forget how to play. Except on Wonka. I put up 750 on my fun game beforehand, and then in the tournament put up a little over 800. And I felt pretty good about that. I mean, obviously, that's not the greatest score in the world, but our Wonka is set up pretty tough. Wow. Cool. That's how you get rid of three balls in succession with just a very short amount of time between play on each of them. One. One. Nice and easy. Alright, let's block a ball. We're... started off okay, one reactor, one ball. That's... I mean, we need to do obviously better than that, but... Uh, ball two kind of sucked. There's a nice clean ball lock. Let's see what we can do. Let's see what we can do. All right. There we go. Ah! Really wanted to hit that right there. Still need that one shot on the grid. That's going right down the middle. Ah, there goes ball three. All right. Very simple rule set. Very difficult game. And not frustrating, even in the east, because the music is so great. Insomniac, have a wonderful night. Thank you so much for stopping by. Alright. Round four? Maybe round five? What are we doing here? God, I wish... There is a part of me that absolutely loves the... Ball save The new plunger we put on this we have a cool themed plunger But, man, it makes it so hard to hit the skill shot now, I just can't quite feel it. Too hard. Nice, we got that reactor just in time. Nice and easy. Alright, left. Alright. All right. So we get our three seconds of ball save because of that, which is great. That keeps my multiball going. Wow. Alright. It was an okay ball one. We're pretty close to having the grid unlocked for two. Wow, thank God we activated that ball save. There we go. And ball lock number one. Let's do it all over again. There's two. There's two. All right, so we've got ourselves a multiball. That's going to go into the reactor. All right. Destroy, destroying. Destroying. We had nothing to help with that. I probably should have... Magister move the machine, it's fine. Ugh. Let that go down. What do we need? backhand the destroy or work on multiball. Apparently we're working on multiball. Too hard. Way too hard. I'll let that hit. Something hit it. Alright. I mean, oh wow, I don't know what that was. That was even worse. There we go. Alright, one more shot. That is, of course, the more difficult, like, dangerous shot. Wow. Or, yeah, the pinball gods look down and say, you could use a hand. All right, nice and easy here. There we go. And... And... I cannot touch a brief. There we go. There we go. Here we go. One, two, three. There's one, two, and three. Whoo! Whoo! Alright. Now we've got to get back into multiball. And that is a really easy post transfer right there. There we go, and our first lock. Uh oh. And second ball lock! Boom. Alright, is this going to be a good multiball? That is the question. Jenga. Survey says so far. I don't think so. Here we go. Let's try that again. There we go. All right, reactor number four started. God, I love the music on this reactor. All right, what do we need to get here? We could go for another multiball. We could just try and beat the reactor. I think what we've got to do is go for the multiball. Although we do have an extra ball. There's one. All right, two more here. Nice and easy, and... Nice and easy. Wow. Perfect. Not so much here or here, but right there. And it goes down the middle. There's the ball lock. At this point I'm not using the ball save, even though I should. I just want to get into a multiball and complete the grid as soon as possible here. And with each ball lock we possibly get up. There we go. So now we've started the reactor and we're ready for our multiball. If we can catch this gently like that, with a little bit of backspin. That's going to give me a ball save! Come on! We broke the gang and that was supposed to give me a ball save. Ah, that's fine. Wait, one more sip. Alright. I'll take that ball save. And first ball lock. Here we go. Nice and easy ball lock. Plunge right to the middle. Nice little bit of backspin. Stops. I think you see a note. Alright, I think we can get both of those just like that. I don't like it from this side. Nice and easy. Left shot. There it is. Mystery start reactor one. Alright, yeah, let's go that side. Man, just can't win on this. There it is. Uh-oh, somebody did something. Al Anonymous, welcome to the stream, and thank you very much to that host. That's a hats off. And the question for the night, can you backhand the destroy? You absolutely can't. That was not possible. Al, how was your night going, man? Nice and easy. And... There we go. and we go for the locks. And then we can maybe plunge up into the center, start the reactor for free. Boom. Get a nice ball lock on the fly there. Plunge again. See if we can get it up without going over. That starts our reactor. I'm okay with that. All right, nice and easy. We're going to hit this right orbit. That is BS, but you can't win them all. Okay, we got it. There we go. So now we've got two over on the pops. There's one. And a little too close. that we're going to try this crazy chat bouncer rebound thing. Missed it. Ah! Try it again. I mean, it worked. I don't know that that's something you can depend on, though. It technically worked. Yeah, dude, Owl, stream looked awesome. You obviously know what you're doing on Jurassic Park, man. Great stream. And if you're on right now and you haven't checked out Owl, I'm sure you have, but if you haven't, give him a follow. Amazing pinball and old-school arcade game streamer. I learned what the word shoot-em-up, what is it? A shmup. I learned what a shmup is from watching Al Anonymous. And there we go. We got a lock. Let's see if we can plunge. There's another one. Uno mas. And... GINGER! I'm going to let that one go because I really didn't have a choice. I did have a choice on that one. That kind of sucked. All right, we've got reactor and an extra ball. Boom. All right, third reactor started. Extra ball on the way. Shmups rule. They are super fun. God, I love it when the music changes as you progress further and further. Here we go, 91. 91. That should be it. Alright, what do we need? Destroy, destroy, destroy the D. And we don't have a multiball. There's one. Oh! Come on! We're gonna let that Tilt Bob stop swinging for a second. That's... that's disappointing. How we doing? Is that... oh, that Tilt Bob is still swinging. I'm just gonna give it How we doing? Is that... Oh, that tilt-bob is still swinging. I'm just gonna give it a sec. Um... Let's see, what else can we talk about? I, uh, stupidly sent an email off to my absolutely, uh, my favorite author, who I think lives in Denver, so somewhat close by, and sent an email off, like, Hey, if you're ever interested in learning pinball and want to hang out, let's do it. I'm sure that goes over real well. Like some random guy wants to hang out and play pinball. There's no justification for that other than somebody mentioned... Nice, that's great. This whole time we've been running a virus scan while we've been streaming. It seems very unlikely that that would ever happen. But if it does, that would be one of the more, and I would play it off like it's no big thing, but it would be probably the single coolest moment in my life. Do you have a, yes, I have a shaker. And it's amazing. It also vibrates. I mean, look at the, I'm not doing anything, and that tilt-bob is still swinging. A lot. That's not nothing, and I think it's the tilt-bob. I'm sorry, it's the, I think it's the shaker motor. There we go. Three attempts at that lock. That's like the easiest lock in the world. Two. Uno más. Oh yeah! That sucks. And... Bingo! Here we go, one last destroy. Got it. One more. Got it. all right so now our reactor is locked should fall in very nicely here there we go number four we're gonna have to go righty. There it is. There it is. Reactor started, and we're in a multiball. All right, One, two, three, four. Alright, we just need the R. This was the hardest thing in the world to hit earlier, and I don't know why. Alright, what ball is that? Oh, wow. That was ball one. Okay. That was ball one. Wolfman, welcome to the stream. Now we're on ball two. Let's see if we can do this. All right. We did it. That's four. We're up to number five. Oh! Oh! It sucked for a ball too. Wolfman, do I know Python? I do not know Python. All right. Um, yeah, no, I am a .NET programmer. I do some front-end work with JavaScript. I do a lot in Angular. And, uh, that's pretty much it. .NET and front-end JavaScript. There we go. Here we go. And... Reactor 5 started. Cool new music! Cool new music! Let's check out that Marc Silk bob. It's not awful. You need to learn Python so we can make a pinball machine, the P-Rock. Until they make a .NET pinball controller. Eh, Python's not difficult, man. But there's really no money in pinball. Like, it's a labor of love. I'll take extra tilts, please. Ah! Oh, apparently we needed to go to the other direction. All right, number five critical. All right, number five critical. Here we go, one, two, three Somehow we missed all of those Alright, right there, and we destroy number five. And right there, and we destroy number five. And right there. Oh my gosh. That sucks All right nice and easy Got it. There goes number five. And now we need to start working towards multiball. Number five completed. Let's get to number six and we'll set a new record, for me at least. what a TBL is on sale for $45,000 yeah but nobody is going to purchase a TBL for $45,000 $45,000 there we go alright same thing over and over and over, yet it is still fun to both play and watch. Jenga! Alright, let's get that pad! Here we go, one more shot! Got it. Alright, one shot here to start sixth. And my glasses are falling off my face. Oh, no! Come on. Nice and easy. There it is. That is dicks! Whoo! Awesome, yeah, check out that music! Ah! Glasses. It's kinda, this is kinda mellow. It's been a while since I've heard this music. Unless you like scum and passive-aggressive developers, then maybe you're the dude. Get a urine-stained carpet and smoke a doobie. I do really, really want a Big Lebowski. It looks amazing. All right, here we go. Let's beat Reactor 6. I'll take that. Alright, nice and easy here. That might do it- no! Alright, alright, alright. Right orbit. AHH! Here we go. That was just flat-out mean. Stupid game. We do have a mystery. Do we go for the mystery? Do we go for the... You could just... A multiball right now would be amazing. Um... Hmm. Here we go. Two left. Can we backhand the destroy? Nope. Nope. Laser was streaming it earlier. I might just pay $20 to strip it out and replicate the design. I get that. Wow, I can't believe we got the skillshot there. And there's our mystery. What are we going to get? There we go. Nice and easy. Ball lock. There we go. And here we go, guys. Set. All right, they've got that one. One more. Got it! Woo! There's six. That is a new record. For me. I mean, not for everyone. I haven't been to six yet. Alright, let's get to seven. Let's do this thing. Uh, two more shots before the grid's unlocked. There's one, two, grid is unlocked. Uh, let's start reactor seven. There it is. That is seven. Check, hear that music! That's freaking cool! Let's just appreciate this for a second. We are three away! Well, I mean, two after seven. But whatever, we're getting really close! Uh, I guess we gotta work towards multivolve. Was that the end? I didn't have another extra ball, did I? Nope. And who was the last person to do... Oh, man. Ow! You got this one. Somebody just did something. Princess! Oh, wait. Prince Harwita, you were seconds, seconds away from being the GC here. I think that was the GC, right? I don't know. Hello, Prince Harwita. Harwita? Harwita? Prince, welcome to the stream. We just played, uh, that was the best we'd ever got to. We got to, uh, we got to Reactor 7. Didn't beat it, uh, but got to Reactor 7. And I feel like that's, that's a, that's a high note. We can't end the stream on a high note. We need to end the stream on a, on a three balling out without anything. Yeah, I think that's the way we do this. So, let's go one more game and see how things go. and let's shoot for awful. Right? Let's just set a really low bar on that. Wolfman, I've got this thing turned up really, really loud to the point where if the bass kicks in and the shaker motor's going, parts start vibrating loose on this. That was cool. There we go. We're on our way to a really, really awful start. There we go. Started a reactor. Dang, we've already beat the really, really low bar we were open for. I'm starting to get into pinball like mad crazy recently, so I checked who was streaming pinball, and I found you. Well, welcome to the stream, and pinball is amazing. It's best because I'm a rookie. I totally am. I've been playing now for right around two years, and streaming for a little over a year on Twitch. so I absolutely fell in love with the sport hated it growing up couldn't stand pinball at all I absolutely loved Galaga and I didn't get into Joust until a lot later but I loved arcade games was huge into Mortal Kombat and things like that but pinball I couldn't stand until I got that machine behind me and my wife said I want something too I would like a pinball machine and rather than tell her I wasn't interested, I decided to figure out pinball so that way I knew what kind of pinball machine to get and just got hooked. It's such a fun sport. And now we have Batman 66 and X-Men Magneto, TMA, Dungeons and Dragons, a Deadpool, we've got a Harlem Globetrotters on the way and likely a Jurassic Park on order on Monday. Uh-oh. More chat. Ball saved. And if you're just getting into this sport, or even if you're a huge fan, there are a ton of other streamers out there right now. So other streamers that are either on right now or were even just streaming earlier today, you got MPT3K, Al Anonymous. Trying to think of who else is on here right now. I mean, obviously, Deadflip, Buffalo Pinball. Those are the other big ones. Let's see. The Pinsomniac is going to be streaming here pretty soon. I got hosted by Zero Fire and oh you know there's out in Germany we love pinball Laser Los feel free to throw out others if you're on right now and you're thinking oh another new one that just started up recently was Death Save Arcade it was a really good looking stream I'm hoping for the best. There we go. So it looks like we just need the destroy on the right. Totally got it. And yes, that was a beautiful air defense. Like, actually pulled it off. That was really cool. All right. And let's see. Oh, Melbourne Silver League. Joe Soap, welcome to the stream. Let's see. Kind of the same for me, but I'm appreciating it a lot more. Also, LOL. Good to know. He's on. Oh, Melbourne Silver League is on in two and a half hours. They're in Australia, so they are, what is it, 18 hours or 16 hours ahead of, I'm in Colorado, so I'm in Mountain Time. and my birthday is actually tomorrow. I'm in PST. Well, Prince, happy birthday from everybody here. I would sing you the song, but I'm not a good singer, so I'm not going to. And Joseph, it has been a while. How is life? And have you played any really good pinball? All right, we got the reactor unlocked. There we go. Starting a reactor, hitting a mystery. We're really messing up this low bar. I was assuming that this last game would go super quick. And, that's that. Alright, here we go. We've got a critical reactor here. And destroy, destroy. Perfect timing. Faye, welcome to the stream. Dude, it has been too long. And thank you very much for the host. That is a hat off. I, too, am actually going to call it, I think, after this game. Faye, you missed it too, man. We hit Reactor 7, the game before this. It felt amazing. I'm going to sleep well tonight knowing that I played pinball okay. Not going to say it was good because we didn't hit Reactor 9 and, you know, we're not, like, world's best players, but I was very, very happy with 7. Anyway, Faye is another amazing streamer who streams not only arcade games, a lot of Mario, I think I saw you online earlier playing some World of Warcraft, actually, the new classic, but also pinball. I think you even mentioned, Faye, wanting to get back into more pinball. All right. Here we go. Jenga. Jenga. All right, so we got to complete the grid here. There it is. We're going to get one back. No, we didn't get anything back. Gosh. That's fine. We got an extra ball, and we're going to start reactor three. Uh, I played for 14 hours of WoW on Mixer today. It's not my favorite game. Man, when World of Warcraft first came out, I bought it. The day it came out, I went to Walmart, bought a physical copy, and then wasted the next six months of my life. That's not even a little bit of an exaggeration. That is what I did. I built a frost mage called Never. And, uh, and that was my thing for a while. Alright, do we go for multiball, or do we hit the D, the destroy, and the destroy? Apparently, we go for the destroy, and, oh, we have an extra ball, we have an extra ball, we got this, we got this. It's really cool to see WoW coming back, it feels like the 2000s again, when I saw commercials of it. Many times I was super young. Never played it either, though. It's a lot more fun than I thought it would be. That's how I'm feeling about today. Not sure what I accomplished, to be honest. Yeah, it's fun. And you know what? At this point, it's kind of the nostalgia of it I totally get. Alright, we still need the two destroys. I should have been going for it instead of wasting my ball save. But let's multiball up here. And Jenga. Jenga. There it is. And now... Gotta get that... The pad, the grid done. Darn it. We got two more shots on the grid. There's one. And... There it is. And then... And there goes the reactor. One more. Come on. One more. There we go. Alright, this is reactor four. I don't know what happened. I don't remember getting to reactor four. Ah! That was that imp... That's one we really needed to remember. It's one click left because it wraps around. Or three clicks the other way. Ugh. But you know what? That's room for more and more improvement. We got Reactor 7. I'm good with that. I'm good with Reactor 7. I can go to sleep tonight on a high. Let's see here. Let's catch up really quick. So, uh... I got into old school RuneScape recently, though. Love grindy games like that. I can't stand the grind. I will probably get to level 20 or something and do a few raids with a guild and then determine if I continue or not. Wolfman, nostalgia. I need to forget about another six months of my life. I get that. Yeah, yeah, that's, I mean, that's, it was an amazing six months. That was before, well, that was, yeah, that was the early 2000s. I was pretty young, pretty stupid for non-gaming reasons, but, you know, still lived with a bunch of friends. we had a house in Fort Collins, Colorado you're not supposed to have two people more than two people who are unrelated living in a single home so of course we had four friends who weren't related living in a single three bedroom house I had like I was kind of like at that time Harry Potter I had the cheapest rent and I lived in a closet essentially it wasn't quite a closet technically it was a room but it was like a five foot by seven foot room and that's where I lived at that time and I set up I had this really cool setup specifically for WoW so I had a reclining chair and I had one of those swivel mount arms like a desk that you could mount to a wall and I had two of them so I would recline and then I had two CRT monitors that would swing in like this so I'm reclining I've got a keyboard and a mouse mounted to my reclining chair and I could play and work and, I guess, play and do other stuff across two different screens. I felt really cool, but then again, I grew up watching hackers and decided to go into software and get into computers because hackers, I thought at the time, and still to this day, maybe one of the more amazing computer movies ever made. And I'll take crap for that. I'm fine with it. In the same way that I think Fifth Element is a super fun movie, I can recognize the fact that it's not a well-made movie or a good movie. Like, the dialogue isn't all that. It's diehard in space, but I love it. I never saw that machine before. It looks cool. And hackers, hey, thank you. Thank you, somebody. Somebody out there can like hackers. My boss had a kid who wanted us to set up used computers that's EverQuest servers so he could level up players. Fifth Element is top ten for me. Hackers is top ten for me. Faye, we need to hang out. You and your wife have to come out to Fort Collins at some point. And I don't know. We'll see if I can drink beer again. I've been getting ridiculous migraines just after drinking a little bit of beer recently. I'm going to let it cool down maybe for a couple months. But regardless, if you come out here, we got a taste of the cool local craft brews, because I think we have 24 craft breweries in Fort Collins now. They're popping up like crazy, and some of them are really good, some of them are just okay. And then, of course, there's Weldworks out in Greeley, and they make 130 different flavors of New Robert Englunds IPA milkshake stuff. Wolfman knows what I'm talking about. He's really excited to try those out. We might still move your way next year. Fixer Upper is almost squared away. I don't drink much these days for similar reasons. I get it. Anyway, my parents loved Everglass. LOL. Prince, I feel really old now. I feel really old. But that is awesome. And you guys, my name is George. This show is Don't Panic Flip. we play pinball Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 10.30pm to 12.30am Mountain Time Thursday we may or may not have a show this week we have a bunch of stuff going on having to do with the Rock Paper Flippers which is the league management software we put together at the same time helping the Pinsomniac move a new pinball machine that he's purchasing, I think it's a Xenon around, there's a chance a very slim chance that he wants to bring it over and stream from my garage on Thursday, and if that happens, we'll go ahead and stream. Otherwise, it might be this weekend or Monday next week before we stream again. You guys had so much fun. Reactor 7, I get to say that now. I've been to Reactor 7. Y'all have a wonderful, wonderful night. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
