## Transcript

Welcome Welcome everyone to Season 4, Episode 3 of the Fresh Pinball Podcast. Fresh, fresh. Fresh off the beach, fresh out of the vehicles, fresh out of the snow. This is possibly the freshest episode ever. I mean, we're certified fresh at this point. Straight from our lips to your ears. I don't know if I've been warm since we left Florida. I have not been. I like literally just feel like I'm cold all the time. I agree. It seems like your guys' problems. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Should have stayed in Ohio with us. It was 85 down there. It was like 20 steps from a pinball machine to the soft sands of St. Petersburg Beach. Or a construction site. We'll get to that. Either one. But before we dive deeply into all of that, I'm going to introduce everyone sitting around this merry table. Back again. Back-to-back episodes. Keith Nesbitt, Nezzy's Prince. Hello, hello. He was. He was. Yeah. At this point, for season four, he's like two out of three. You know what they say. Two out of three. I hope they got their applications in. No, because last time we were at Kyle's. No, no, yeah, yeah. Yeah. So two ago. Two ago. All right, fair enough. You were here in spirit last time. Yes, thank you. Obviously. Always, thank you. And to Keith's right, on the mobile recording board recorder thing. Yeah, we're trying something a little different tonight. Just use the field recorder. Yeah, we've got Kyle in the headphones running the rig. So if it sounds a little different, we're trying something a little different. And to Kyle's right, we have Zach Angeli. Zach, what's going on, buddy? Just fun, fantastic, playing a lot of fresh pinballs with my pinball pals today. So we're here in Corbin's pinball palace today. And sitting to the right of Zach is Corbin. Talk about all this pinball freshness you've got going on here, man. Well, for a while, I was on an essential move only kind of deal because it was negative whatever out, and there was a bunch of snow, and we had to get different places set and make things happen. So I ended up having like three all-time normal spots empty and then another like two to three optional spots that are still empty. So anyway, today I ended up bringing up three because I was going to do it yesterday, but then I was like, no, I've got to get Guns N' Roses back together before I bring anything else in. So what did I bring in today? I brought in Shrek. Somebody won. Actually, it actually came from the guy we had on last step. Jason from Look for the Cure. Oh, yeah. Jason stopped down on Sunday. He braved the wintry Carl Weathers of Ohio and traded in his Shrek towards a brand new Stern Dungeons and Dragons Pro. And then I brought that in. Then I brought, there's a labyrinth over there. New in, freshy, minty box labyrinth. And then the biggest... Star of the show. Of all, Popeye. Popeye has entered my house. So we talked about Popeye, and here is Popeye. Here it is. In all of its glory. Wide body. We've got a lot of wide... I mean, GNR's a wide body. We've got the super-pen Popeye over here. We've got some serious pinball action going. Not messing around. All right, so we obviously are going to talk about pinball at the beach, but I'm going to push that down the road just a little bit, because I actually do only have a brief fact check this time. Did you only read half the emails this time? Is that why? I've been more selective this time. Did we get that many? Yes. It's more, we get a handful of emails, but I get a ton of stuff on Messenger of like, oh, how about this? Or, oh, how about that? You guys talked about whatever. It's a continuous conversation for sure. So, commenter on, we talked about the Stern NFL and Stern NBA games. 400 of the NFL game. 250 of the Stern NBA. Holy shit. So that is super low. That tells you the demographic of the fire. In the wild, they still only go for three or four thousand. Just not great games. Straight up NBA? Yeah, it's just called NBA. Stern NBA. That should be such a home run. We went in- NBA, so yeah, it should be a- Yeah, but it's one of those earlier games too, so that shit didn't sell well. And it was all the same. Hmm. Interesting. So Popeye, someone did send me the Popeye flyer because I talked about I didn't know what the theme was. Is it Popeye fighting? Is he trying to put save all of these animals or whatever? We have one somewhere. Yeah. We have an actual physical flyer, but here is the digital version. He has them, doesn't he? I do have them. See, my flyer book is right behind you under there, but I think you have the Popeye one at your house. I do. So the full title is Popeye Saves the Earth. I am armed and ready to save the planet. With lightning flippers. With lightning flippers for arms. Get ready to set sail for an all-new pinball adventure with America's favorite old salt in Popeye Saves the Earth. Our speech spinach-eating hero rescues the planet, saves endangered species, and reclaims his true love, olive oil. Whoa, whoa, whoa. Because there's like a boat. There's like a boat. Is this a Noah's Ark situation? Yeah. Is that what it is? I think it's like a Noah's Ark level situation. I think I underestimated this game. He has to save them from the evil clutches of his arch enemy, Bluto. Popeye saves the Earth with fascinating children and challenging adults of all ages. It's an all-out spinach-powered adventure. So I'm not sure that Bally knew exactly how to market this game either, because that's an interesting flyer, to say the least. I've read a game on it It's been sitting for a while So it's playing a little weird There's just a lot of play field I don't know what's going on I'm hoping to get it going up Why am I not surprised that's a very awesome game? Very in Python They were doing some crazy stuff So here's the You guys want to hear the deep flyer? Yeah, the back side From the deck of Popeye's Ark Things look pretty grim Popeye's Ark, which is like absolutely saving some animals. Biblical. Look pretty grim. Bluto's companies, Earth Paving Co., Plutonium Waste, Nevergreen Logging, and Spilco Oil are wreaking havoc on the environment. These companies called Nevergreen. Not Evergreen. Never. Nevergreen. And you found out too that some of them were flat plastic Brutus and Bluto. So the upper play field is like his face. And some of them have the nice vacuum-formed, you know, face. Yeah, and then the later ones are just a flat plastic. That's trash. That makes the whole game. It really does. I mean, plus the portal speakers. So he's endangering five species of wildlife. Olive has been kidnapped and Sweet Pea is lost in a maze of corridors. To save the day, Popeye must undo the damage of Bluto's companies and four exciting dotmation missions. Rescue the rhinoceros, zebra, panda, leopard, eagle, and dolphin from extinction. That mech is weird. And they made 4,200 of those turd burglars? It's a big seller! You never see it. Way more than NBA, that's for sure. When it comes down that side where the animals are, there's another flipper button, right? A second flipper button? No, you just use a lot of flippers. One button just pushes the entire thing over. And then it registers that you've saved one dolphin. But is one dolphin enough? No, no. You need a pair of dolphins. It's a weird mech. In theory, it would be really good. Ousler and Python Anghelo. Oh, for sure. Mike Boon on software. Whenever I ended up with it, I never played it. Or John Yowsey, McMahon, and Python Anghelo. Who's the call-outs? Our boy. This is a home run. It's crazy. It should be. It should be better than it is. It's, yeah. That's why I still have it. You know. And you get to battle the sea hag, help Sweet Pea out of the maze, and compete in two, three, and four ball multiball sequences. She's just stuck in a maze. Yeah, you know. Not like babies do. You know babies. You know sometimes they just get places they're not supposed to be. Those silly babies. Only then can he release Olive in a hectic six ball multiball finale. players start their adventure in every ball with an industry first spinning wheel skill shot. Oh, that's weird too. I feel like I saw that again in Riverboat Gambler. The one we played with Galvin up at Kid Force. It had a similar little thing up there. From there, players can explore the animal ramp, zoom through the roundhouse loop, and ride the escalator to the upper deck to locate Sweet Pea. So that escalator that takes you to the upper deck took me a while when we were playing it at Pinball on the Beach, at the beach to figure out, like, how do I even get there? Yeah, it's not any of the ones you think it's going to be. I feel like it's not. Because even when I was playing it today, I'm like, how do I get up there? And so it's that one to the right. Well, let me tell you this. Popeye Saves the Earth features eye-popping graphics, a 3D light-up head of Bluto on select games. Does it say on select games? It doesn't say that. I added that. You're welcome, Bally. Yeah. And a hinged upper playfield for easy access. Corbin, the upper playfield's hinged? It is, actually, yeah. Holy shoot. It is. That's impressive. Right? It's actually not too bad to get... It's not too bad or wonderful. Well, not only does it look great, Popeye's Saves Ear sounds great, too, with Bally's DCS sound system delivering sparkling CD-like sound effects and dialogue taken directly from the famous cartoon adventures players already know and love. Still mono, though, just like this podcast. For high-season venture and high-profit collections, it's Popeye Saves the Earth. I brought it home in hopes of finding some love for it and bringing it back to life and releasing it into the wild to see how it does. I mean, after reading the splash page of everyone that's involved, that flyer... The flyer sold me, man. It makes me want to play. Fire it up, Keith. Let's get the game going. It kind of makes me want to get a second one. We might need more. Second perm. Let's perm some. I promise you, after this is aired, there's going to be a run on Pinside on Popeye. The price is going to go up. We're not inflating the price of Popeye. It's happening. Is your game for sale, Corbin? Your Popeye? No, no, no. We need it for the complete collection. Not for sale? No. Corbin and I are going to combine forces and have all super pens. All the super pens. we're missing like 10 WPC but there are only so many super pins what next gen's a super pin next gen Indiana Jones was a super pin Red Shred Red Shred you're not too far off so we have them sure why not we have the super team super kids I just can't imagine the electric you're going to have to run in your house to make all those fucking WPC happy though. Just run an extension cord from the neighbors. Yeah, I'm going to have to. They'll be fine. They'll take care of your dog. I can only imagine the engineering you had to do to have those two next gens that you're working on together. You had to like get 200 amp service to each one. For sure, for sure. Used to be a doctor's office, a lot of juice running there. So I personally ran across something that I wanted to include in the fact check. So, I know Corbin, you're not a breakfast person. Kyle, you're not. Are you a breakfast person? I'm not kidding. Okay. I'll come around a little bit. So if I'm eating breakfast a lot of times, it's cereal. Oh, you mean actually eating it, not just breakfast foods? Yeah, I don't eat breakfast. Okay. So Trix cereal. Trix. Keith and I are of similar age. Do you remember when we were kids, Trix were like actually in the shapes of the different fruits? Yes. Yes, 100%. Now they're not anymore. What is it? They're like just circles, like spheres now. That's terrible. We've had that. I have had that. I was a child once. Yeah, but you also never watched TV. so I'm not sure what other things you were precluding from. All right, go on, go on. Here's the theory, though. Are they still shaped like fruit, but we only see them as spheres because tricks are for kids? And since we're adults, we don't see them. We don't get tricks anymore. Yeah. I'm going to have to get a box of them. Take it home and ask the boys in the morning. What shape are these? What are these? Tell me what you see. Tell me what you see. It's a real test. I see from midnight tonight. Absolutely. Have you guys ever seen the Liam Neeson scene from Ted where he's buying the tricks? you're telling me if I take these home there will be no one following me or making sure that I do not eat this trick he goes back all fucked up does he I need to return these I somehow ran across that clip and I was showing it to Tia and she was rolling thought it was the funniest thing ever so Corbin you talked about getting the labyrinth today unboxing it what are some of your first impressions of the packing the little tchotchkes that came along with it? I think it was packed actually pretty well. It was more the J.J.P. style packing where there's no bottom to the box. It's just strapped to the pallet with a quadruple layer of cardboard under the back of it, and then the box is just strapped to the pallet, like the sides and the top of the box. So it actually came in good shape and everything. It had, you know, all the rails were wrapped in plastic and cardboard and all that. It came with a branded magnetic, extendo-magnetic thing. And then it also came with a nice T-handle Allen... Allen... Like a T-handle? Yeah, a T-handle thing for the head and everything, yeah. If you're wondering why Corbin seems distracted, Kyle and I are having a complete separate conversation. He's trying to describe this game. And it came with a nice little rag that was branded. It came with all kinds of nice little accessories. Inside Art Protectors? Yeah, it came with the Inside Art Protectors for sure. So then I do that. Now be a man. Scratch your insides. It's coming either way, so just suck it up and let it happen. No, I'm just joking. One of the odd things that I noticed, and I noticed this previously, I've been told, that it only has one coin chute, which is just kind of thrown a little bit by. Because it's like... I wonder what the additional cost of another coin mech is. That's what I'm saying. It's a pseudo half-door, too, I think. It can't be that much. I don't think they're making their own doors. Unless they bought out like Deaver or somewhere weird that had this door. You know, like... Yeah. Because there was a bunch of those doors that are out there somewhere, and somebody's got to be... We almost had them. We almost had the doors, the shakers, all kinds of stuff. The shakers is what I wanted, but... Yeah, so... No, overall, though, I played maybe half a dozen games on it, and I played a lot of it. She got to play the first couple games on it, and she was loving it. But she's a big Labyrinth fan. So, I mean, overall, I think it's fun. I just haven't gotten into it. It feels like there's a little bit of, like, since some of the shots are tight, you know, it's a shooter's game, that there's a little bit of a dialing in period of it, of kind of getting everything to work out exactly how you want. It was my favorite from Pembroke last year. I'm so excited that you have it to get some more time on. The ones I've encountered in the wild that I haven't played. You probably need to dial in the sound a little bit for Corbin. Absolutely. All right. Just wanted to get those impressions. It's going to be here for a limited time, too. It's going to quarter up by, what's today? Today is Monday? Today is Monday, February 17th. Damn, a week from today. Because what you doing the launch party for is Monday February 24th A week from today yeah Yeah trying to get everybody scheduled in locked in if you going to be playing in the tournament by 7 p Usually there a little bit of a grace period in there but try to be in there and find our buddy Ben You can't miss him. Tall dude, tall drink of water with a big old beard, and he'll get you taken care of. Probably his big beard, too. Yeah, I mean, they kind of come in at hand. so what we had Dungeons and Dragons Pro over at Unhitched this past Wednesday through Saturday is it still over there? It is right now I'm going to grab it tomorrow so don't go to Unhitched to play it because you can look through the door and see it but that's going to be about it so we're going to load that up and then take it to Sweets and Geeks on Wednesday right? Yeah, let's play. Oh, nice. So our Medina people, if you're out there picking up some candy, some Pokemon cards or whatnot, stop by. Don't go over this, Jeff. It's Pokeman. The Poke. Pokeman cards. Pokewon. All of the Pokemon cards, all of the things. It's going to be up there starting Wednesday, February the 26th. Also, stop by the Timber Beast axe throwing here near Medina. Corbin and I stopped in there, and they have. I think he might have put it in Mastermind. He put that one in Mastermind. They have an insane lineup. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Absolutely. Timber Beasts. Yes, yes, yes. Because you can do a two-footer while you're out there. You can hit Timber Beasts to play all the pinball machines. Their lineup, actually, I was very impressed with. Yes. I thought it was like, so out in the main axe-throwing area, you have your, like, a nice stern, but there's a Ghostbusters, which is not, like, a normal find for the sterns. And then you've got to make sure you check out the other room. Got to go to the axe shop. The axe shop, because that's where there's, like, a World Cup soccer. There's a dial-in. There was an attack from Mars LE. There's a Cactus Canyon LE. Not bad. what am I forgetting there were some good games there was like one or two more that I'm forgetting but they had a very nice lineup what's the name of that place Timber Beast Axe Throne it's a Medina address right off of Route 18 right into Medina if you're coming north from Office 71 it's right there if you're coming from Akron off of Route 18 it's right there and between that and Sweets and Geeks you're literally there 10 minutes apart so you can hit both and make a whole little fun time of it So get out there and play some fun games. So let's jump right into the topic of this week's episode. So pinball at the beach. We all kind of, well, Corbin probably more than we all, became infatuated with Stern Electronics Orbiter One. Yes, while at pinball at the beach. Yes, we did. So I've seen it before. I know we've all kind of played it before at VFW. Like the game is around here or there. I was surprised when I went into Pinside to see that only 889 of these were produced in 1982 and they were divided up into like so many per country or something like 200 something per four different countries Europe got majority of them yeah a lot of them did not stay here and so like yeah VFW is the other place we played it and then maybe one other place but the one we played this past weekend at Pinball to Beach It was the most lively, the magnets and the spinners. I never realized before those red bombers. They spin. Yeah. They spin wild, and they're smacking the ball everywhere. They're supposed to spin or have spun? Oh, yeah. No, they're supposed to spin. I believe they're supposed to. I mean, it spun. And it had to make it crazy. Oh, it livened it up so much. And so, like, that's what started it. And it's just, like, a completely different concept. So, like, we started to do the deep dive on it, and it was designed by this, like. Yes, talk about the concept here, Art Myers and Dixie Reinhardt, because you came up with a crazy fact about Dixie Reinhardt that was kind of blowing my mind a little bit. Yeah, so Dixie Reinhardt actually is one of the people on the patent for, like, the NASA, the original Apollo space gloves. Like, his name was on the patent for these, and he was just a big glove guy. Like, he had patents for that. He had snow glove patents. He had multiple. What about the Nintendo pattern glove? Different guy. I was just checking, Jeff. I think they met at one point, but I don't know if they ever did any work together. The universe has started to fold in on you. It was too much. But, no, so he was involved with, like, NASA, and this was, like, one of his side things, which then led to, so we did read his obituary, and it was pretty wild. But his Orbiter One prototype, when he died. Yes. So we saw it. We played it at Pinball at the Beach. We went back. We were doing all this research. And he dies. His family just sells it to, like, a pawn shop or whatever. They take this prototype to this pawn shop. Don't pay any attention to what's in it or whatever. Curious, like, how much do they get? I have no idea. Not enough. Not enough, probably. And so then we end up finding this article. It's on, just so I get full credit here, RetroBitch.com. Just so everyone knows. Shout out, RetroBitch. So they found it. Inside, though, this prototype, Orbiter One, are these Polaroids of this other prototype. this prototype called um clone and it's the same type crazy like textured playfield it's this insane looking alien whoa yeah that's wild i'll post up a picture of what corbin is showing around the table right now fresh pinball instagram so here is like some of the and so like all these are just like literally polaroids that were in the bottom of this orbiter one whenever it was Whoever ended up finding it, I believe the guy who does the one-up bar. Yeah, yes. He's a collector out there. Somebody called him. One of his friends of a friend or somebody somehow got in contact with him. We're like, hey, you've got to come see this stuff. So that was some of their private collection of prototype games. So literally on this website, it's like pictures of pictures and the documentation of all of this stuff because he didn't want it to just disappear as things tend to do. Yeah, so he documented it. What I read was Stern came out and started looking at this prototype, and then they closed it down the next day. It was with Sebring, too. Stern-Sebring. It was Stern's last game. It was like a weird collaboration between the two boxes. Seberg. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So, I mean, it's... Let's go to the flyer here for a second, because it talks about some of the awesome features of the final production version. So it's a three-dimensional play field and back glass. So if you haven't seen this game, it's not your normal... RetroPitch.com. Yeah. I mean, dude, I'm just saying. Flat play field. It's literally textured like the surface of the moon with, you know, craters and all of that crazy stuff. New special effects lighting. I would say we check that box. Revolving discs replace bumpers, which I could swear when I played this before, I never noticed those bumpers. I never noticed that. I'm guessing they weren't working. I think I did. Okay. I don't know. Not like this one. This was the most lively one. It was. It really was. Special lighting. Orbiter lights. Special at right three bank to collect the center target. Lots of specials here. What do we got? Extra ball. Light at 5x to collect. Hit the target above the extra ball light to collect special and extra ball. Yeah, we've got a spinner. Nothing special there. We've got a bonus multiplier. Time on ball one. So this was some interesting feature that I saw on the score on the alphanumerics when we were there. So turn on one ball. So there's a dip switch on match credit shows the time on one ball in high time to date beating high time awards of credit. So as opposed to, hey, you're trying to get a replay on a high score, it's the amount of time that you keep the ball going on this game. So I read like you can have three to five. And then if you go down really quickly, it's just going to keep feeding you those balls. Because there's a minimum time. Yeah, minimum time, and the operator can't shut that off. Because it's almost like on, what is it, Whodunit, where you can play on novice mode, where it's just a timed amount that you play as opposed to a three-ball game. And there are a few games that... I was thinking there was a couple other, too, that are like that, but yeah. And then there was another interesting thing where it was on the 100th game special. This is in 78, right? This is 76, maybe? Or 76? I thought it was right at the crossover between... 82. 82. I thought you said 82 earlier. So this is when they're trying to compete with arcade games at this point. Right. So, like, this is when the pinballs are starting to be like, oh, we got to get weird. Like, this is like... And that got... They got real fucking weird. Yeah. There's no way you could tell me that's a game of skill. Oh. There's very little. One of the wild things with this one, too, is, like, how many times, like, if it was behind the flipper, it meant nothing. No, it was coming back. Like, you could just sell the flippers up. I got this shit. You could just sell them up. I got this. It would magic its way back up in the middle of the play field. And what's great about it, though, is not only is it fun to play with. Like, I'm watching Corbin, like, I'm like, yeah, dude, you got it. You can keep it going. You can keep it going. Yeah. You know? Why do we always get into these weird, oddball... It's the way it is. It's just something that you don't see, so whenever it's something different and you walk up to it, it's like, ooh, this is kind of special. Someone took a chance with this. Right. And unfortunately, most of the times, it doesn't seem like any of these work out. It doesn't always work out. Most times, it doesn't. But the 100th game special is, it was a display on the back panel to where you could walk up to it and say, and see, oh, 98 games before me have been played. And then you play one more and it goes up to 99. And then on the 100th play, you get a replay. So it's kind of like a slot machine sort of situation. But you know when it's going to win. You know when it's going to pay out. That's wild. So I thought that was kind of cool. And then there is a multiball on it to where you can lock a ball in the top left orbit. And then, of course, you have your normal tilt and all of that fun stuff in the game as well. Did the calories reset at every 100th? 100? Correct. So it's just a three-digit display that then resets every time it hits 100. I like that. That was, I think, of all the games. So, I mean, we played a lot of games. What about what's that thing, Waze? Did you even tip it at all? I think, was there a ball stick? I think that was all like a plastic form. Plexiglass from my ride. The cabinet's like super deep, I feel like. That is true. There's something weird about it. I'm standing in a row that was still shorter than others. I don't know. I bet it was in a System 80, like, black holes or on an owl still heavier. Oh, God. I don't know. I don't know what kind of magnets and what's under it. Because there's motors and shit under that. I want to see. I'd love to see the bottom of that plate. Agreed. Agreed. That was one of the conversations we had. And then so then looking at this. Well, that's it. We've got to buy one. Oh, for sure. Well, if you have one for sale, please email us at freshpiml.com. Also, the big mystery on this other clone game is nobody knows where that game is. That's the other thing, too. Yeah, back to that real quick. That is. So, like, this was, like, the first, like, recent sighting of anything that was, like, oh, look, there's, like, pictures of this game that we've never, nobody even knows what happened to it. So, like, they figure, was it in his collection or, like, did they just take it to another pawn shop? Right. Or, like, where did this other game go? Like, was it destroyed? Like, let me know what you're saying. This guy was in Colorado? Colorado's where he ended up, yeah. and that's where, like, so that prototype. Well, that's it. You've got to go see Nate and Mikey. Yeah. I mean, I already put them on it. I already put them on it, but, yeah. So, like, that other game might be out there somewhere, which would just be so cool to see. Yeah. And just, like, it's just such a completely different, like, every other game. Like, what other game were they, like? Did you catch, like, how old? Was that updated at all? Like, what year that website was from or anything? Was it old? The Retro Bitch? No, that was, like, a couple years ago. Okay. Yeah, it felt fairly, I thought it was, like, 18. I'm pretty sure. So, okay, there's a Pennside post in, like, two years ago where it was popped up. April 7, 2022. Yeah, so this is, like, this is history. I'm just curious. I mean, it could have been from fucking. Because he died. He died not that long. Like, this is all. Yeah, yeah. This is all in recent history. A little recent times. Yeah. So we experienced that at Pinball at the Beach. We're on the subject of Pinball at the Beach. Let's talk about it a little bit. So that was definitely one of my favorite. That was one of my favorite of theirs, obviously. The two-player jousting there. Always a good time there. I did manage to beat Corbin 2-0, 2-0. I just want everybody to know I'm making my comeback. He didn't have a shot against me. It was a bloodbath. He's on the down slide from pinball. I just want to put it out there. There was some Popeye action there. There was some Popeye action. Did you see a little bit of the fisticuffs on some joust? Yes, yes, yes. Kyle had a heck of a game on, so he broke Evil Dead. Not broke like broke mechanically, but literally took it to the point through modes and through scoring to where the game wasn't programmed that far yet. I was in like a multiball, and then I brought in another multiball, and then I got into another multiball, and then it got stuck under the right ramp. And Luke's like, is it stuck under the right ramp? I'm like, yeah, he's like, oh, Elwynn did that yesterday. I'm like, you tell everybody that, don't you? He's trying to make me feel special. But no, we spent some quality time over in the spooky booth talking to Bug. I like that game. I was going to say that was one of my favorite. As far as new games of the show, Evil Dead was my favorite, I would say. It had such cool features. The lighting, the max, and it didn't play like a normal wide body. It still played fast. Did you confirm you're going to have one for Pembroke? At least one. We're hoping to have possibly two. That's what I would like to, if possible. We'll talk about the other thing that we'll probably do. Can we talk about it? No, let's not talk about it. Can we talk about it? No, we shouldn't. We shouldn't talk about it? No, let's not talk about it. You don't want to talk about it? Can we drop a piece? We'll just say, so we were going to have a Texas at the show. And Jess sold it. So then we had to figure something else out. So there's going to be a little surprise. I have one job. One job! We have to sell these games. Well, you're not supposed to sell the games that we need in a few months. The website did that. The power of the website being open 24 hours a day. There goes that guy updating the website again. Gosh, darn it, every time. Anyway, it'll be a surprise. It'll be something if we manage to not say it by then. We'll see. So we spent some time over there talking to the folks from Benton, Wisconsin. Everybody walked away with some special hats, so that was nice. I just looked looking at it. Spooky Boner 2025. This is. and what else did we play I know I played at least one game on Labyrinth went over and spent some time in the Jersey Jack booth because they had all of their games over there even Pirates of the Caribbean which I didn't play Toy Story 4 though because the right flipper button was working you were saying that to that guy and he was so confused he was not understanding he's like I don't understand what you mean was it Robin? it was Robin the button worked, it's there I can't play this. Robin couldn't understand. I had to tell him four different times that you had taken strikes in tournaments, refusing to play that game. The second time, he's like, wait, are you serious? You took a strike? Like in a tournament, you took a strike? Could not understand. We played a lot of big... Dungeons and Dragons? Yeah, Dungeons and Dragons, all three levels. Pro, Premium, and Elite, maybe? Yeah, we played them all. That was interesting, the Elite. It was good. What did it say? It wasn't numbered. Yeah, let me pull up the picture. It was something edition. It was like Exhibitor Is it the one we played Jeff at? It wasn't because the one we played Was actually a higher No it was a higher number It was number one but it was out of a thousand And they are not building a thousand They're building like 700 and some instead So it was a different one Of the one that Zach and I played It said out of a thousand The one we played at Pinball at the Beach I did take a picture of it What three or seven million photos You took on the beach you're talking about. I didn't take that many pictures. But we played some Big Buck Hunter Pro 2. That was good though. That's a game I've been searching for to pull in. You don't see those. Everybody says it's fun. We played Kyle Grim's too and his was pretty, his was nicer than that one. Isn't it very similar to Mech on a Stick? Oh, yeah. I mean, it's barely one for a county. Just the mech. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I think I like the game. I think I might like Big Buck Hunter Pro better than Mech on a Stick. So it was Dungeons and Dragons, the Tyrant's Eye limited edition licensor edition. licensure so what the hell does that mean it means that it doesn't count towards the 784 that they're selling to the public is what it means it Gary Stern right you never know they might send that to the people that own the license That could be like a world war They send it to a dragon Here you go, schmog. Then the node board catches on fire. So, Corbin, you spent some top quality time with Mr. Ramps himself talking about Road Trip. Oh, we did. Yeah, we did get to talk to the Ramps guy. Yeah, you were there too. Ramp on that. Yeah, no, he was so... Formerly known as Tilty Bob. Yes, I didn't realize that at the time. Designer of the Elf homebrew, if you've ever played it. Yeah, so we were on the way down, I think was the first I heard about it, right before we left, that there was going to be, you know, Nap dropped his article about there's going to be a new manufacturer revealing his game, first reveal of the world or whatever. This road trip game, and the same guy who did the Elf homebrew that we've seen at Expo, and I think he's been at TPF. He's been all around with this thing. It's a pretty cool homebrew. It had almost too much going on. It did. I have not realized until this time, I feel like we played it a little more than normal. That one mech that was pretty funny with the little snowballs that it threw at the Lego. On Elf. Yeah, on Elf. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Anyway, so yeah, we talked to him. So his deal is he's building this road trip. He's basically manufacturing everything in-house. What? Yeah, he's going to do max of 500. He's not taking any deposits. but he had a fascinating career history of all the different things he's done he drove NASCAR for 10 years he was a NASCAR driver so like a regional series yeah like an ARCA or like a dirt track not like above dirt track I was going to say he's out of Deerfield every weekend for 10 years it used to be like a Nextel series and then like the trucks and then there was one below that and he was basically the one below that. And then he was designing apps when Android first came around. So he said, yeah, he was using phone apps for a while. All kinds of wild stuff. So, I mean, this is a man of many skills. So he seemed to be, yes, he did seem to be a very diverse background. The proximity sensors instead of switches. So he had zero rollover switches. Yeah, talk about that a little bit. So that was like... No optos, no rollover switches. That's interesting. So I immediately was like, so how are you doing with it, man? Like, we're doing some kind of proximity sensors. He was like, yes, exactly. but he's doing more like an industrial grade because he has like his background is like cnc and machining and he's like they have to be very precise so he's using something similar to that so he opened it up and they're not like so you think of like a proximity sensor like an a sensor or something like on like a wpc where it's just like your flat little board mounted things like these are like little like uh almost like little like like root beer barrel size like little root beer candy barrel size yeah it almost looks like a little flashlight almost yeah yeah like a little Yeah, like a little bit bigger than a Tootsie Roll. Like, I wouldn't say like a C battery, but like maybe a little bit smaller. The diameter of a magnet in a pinball game? Yeah. The little silver things with the blue caps. Okay. Yeah, and so they were all over. And so his big thing was how precise. There's one of those. He didn't want to break up any of the art on the play field, so that's why he went with these over that. He's like, they can be just as precise as a Switch in anything, and I don't need to do it. Yeah, but like Jeff and I were talking, like, if you're playing a game, like one of our games or whatever, and you might get the error that's like, okay, left out lane rollover is not working or whatever, you wouldn't necessarily notice that it wasn't working with that design. Well, that's what we were saying. Like right now, like Hurricane, for example, the exit ramp switch isn't registering because I looked at it and it's not connected. Like it's real, real easy. It's like I've got to pull the ramp out and re-solder the wire on there. Yeah. you know where that i mean and that's what jeff was saying too like there's no i think we were talking about there's no visual like yeah point of like you know i hit that where i need like there's no question about it like i know i i went over the kind of know the area of where you're but did i hit it didn't register and it's like i don't know i didn't pay close enough attention but i don't think he had on the play field like a circle or a dot or a line or anything version there was denoted like this is where you need to trip to because you could even integrate it into the art somehow of like a switch is a car or whatever and that's like oh okay I get it. I don't think that would be a bad idea but or even like maybe like a this is a very early on version like I think the code was like super clever. Maybe even like maybe even an LED when you roll over that it like turns off or light I like that. That would be cool you know. Just something that like actually gives you like visual visual cues of what's happening. But it was super awesome to see that game kind of in a finished yet still early state get some time of talking with you know kind of the brains behind the operation. And I think hopefully once one's up and flipping, he's going to let us borrow one or buy one or whatever. Corbin was driving him with beers. Yeah, anyway. I just say we're just happy to test it and take it out on the route and give him some feedback. See what the people want. Yeah, yeah. Happy to try it out. So we'll see. It was an interesting conversation. It was. I think it was another good connection. So obviously we hooked up with Robin from the Electric Playground, played some games, chatted a little bit. They've got some really cool stuff coming. I'm very excited to see the things that are coming down the pipeline. I think they've already tentatively announced the Pulp Fiction piece that's coming, the topper that's coming. They haven't revealed, obviously, the final imagery for it, but it's going to be cool. Everyone's going to love it. And then they're also doing an add-on to the topper for Alice in Wonderland, which also is going to be banging. So they have some cool stuff coming. Kyle and Corbin hooked up with Don from Don's Pinball Podcast and decided, hey, you know what we're going to do? Let's go ahead and get into the Gulf of America. You were there, too. You chose not to get in. I did. That was your choice. Myself and Monica hung out on the beach and talked about what fools you guys were for being in, like, 60 degrees. I actually got in the Gulf of Mexico. It wasn't that cold. I mean, Kyle and I went out the night before, and it was real cold during the day. It was not that bad, I didn't think. What was it, about midnight? I don't know. And Gorman was like, let's go to the ocean. It's just right over here. And, like, we walked through a construction site. Like, pitch black. And then the next day, he's like, oh, we could have just went the other way. And there's an actual, like, a walkway. Oh, yeah. Probably, like, a bar and everything right there. Oh, there was. Yeah. Yeah, yeah, there was. Whoops. Wrong way. The day that we went to the beach, we left literally the tented area, walked past the pool, were on the beach. Through, like, a little pool area, cabana area, yeah. It was pretty nice. It was a pretty nice spot. I can't believe Don got such a good deal on his rooms. I just don't understand. That was amazing. I don't understand either, man. He knows some things. There was a cool little booth with a quartet of games from the pinball asylum that they had a Williams Warlock, which is one I rarely see, a Williams Defender pinball machine, and a Williams Time Fantasy. So it was those three over there are like, man, those are super low production, ones you don't see. And then their fourth game was the one you always see. Adam's family of course we went to what about some of the other places we went to so Pinball on the Beach overall don't want to cut it off but it was a very cool show I think it was a different vibe it never felt super relaxed we did not wait for any game more than one person at the max and then like we said we got to actually hang out with people and spend good time I'm going to put a two or four player game on this no I think we only ran into one time on the LE D&D where that couple put up a four-player. That's fine. If two people were playing a four-player, I'm not going to... I can live with it. It wasn't bad. For the record, it was not fine. I was not okay with it. Jeff was deprived of good pH water. That was. We got in Thursday night, off the plane, into the rental car. Into the rental F-150. That's right. It was a piece. Twin turbos. Twins under the hood. I'll show you the... Dude, there was not a panel on that truck. It was not dentists. Somebody rang it before us, and they just smashed the ship. It went down the beach. I think they robbed a bank or something. It was awful. Side-swiped everything. So we're into the truck. We're going down the freeway, and we find ourselves at the potion portal. Dude, that was a pretty cool spot. Jeff Leiter's like, where are we going? Somewhere that has pinball and beer. And I'm like, I'm on it. And that was what I found. This place had pinballs. Like 12 pins? And they had pinballs without back glass. It's just drawn pictures. We cannot think of anything. It's so funny. It wasn't even a drawn picture. It was like, be right back. It's like, who's taking the Translight out of this game? Somebody said that they're making, that the dude makes custom ones, I think. So that was, I guess, what was going on. You don't have one from the lunch party? I don't have a good picture. I might have a picture of it. You can kind of see. I probably don't. It says, like, back glass, be right back or some shit. That's fantastic. But 12 pins. We found out that basically every pinball place that we went to in Florida has an Aerosmith Pro. Florida is where all the Aerosmith Pros are. We need to talk to someone from Little Shop of Games and figure out, like, did they mean to order three Aerosmith Pros but then got 30 Aerosmith Pros instead? There was an Aerosmith Pro at the bank when I went there. They were everywhere. I meant to tell Corbin there were some in Wawa when he refused to come in. You want to go to Wawa? You know how to go in that place. Their fries are all right. Sheets. So, Potion Portal, the 12 pins, they had air hockey. Shout out to whoever that bartender was. He was super nice. He took care of us. I don't know if I can say it in a picture. Pop a shot, a couple little racers, the whole night. It wasn't over crowded. It was a nice spot. If you hop on my personal Facebook or the Mad Pinball one, I'm sure I posted some pictures up of the potion portal. Yeah, it was a cool spot. Good spot. Good start to the Thursday night. So then the next day, what was the museum that we went to? Replay? Yeah. It was up in Tarpon? Yeah, so it was like a, what, 40-something? Tarpon Spring, yeah. Because it was like Pizza Joint. And on the same block was a big comic book. It was a toy store. Dude, that toy store was insane. You kept going And he's like Oh there's more in the back And you're like Holy shit And then Every Star Wars toy ever And then the pinball place Yep I knew we were in a good Pinball place right away When they had a Michael Jackson's moonwalker Oh nice So then I knew Like hey This place is legit I did Played a couple rounds Remember we only had Until three o'clock So we couldn't Get as deep as we would like Because like as soon as We walk in Even the girls like Hey it's first Friday Down here Move your cars before three And they're going to tell them Oh alright Fair enough Okay, versus the Gigi Park by sign. Yeah. Make sure you move. So it was a good mix of arcade games, pinball machines, sticker. There were a couple sticker machines. It was just a cool spot overall. They had Halloween standard. Which the standards have the new wild card. It looked cool. It looked cool. Standards have some cool art. They have a Gottlieb high hand. They had some weird ass stuff. Definitely, yeah. What was that one with the spinner in the middle? That EM. It didn't work like I thought it was going to, but it was still interesting. They had a butterfly there, which was one that I'd been wanting to put a couple games on, so I finally got to a Sonic butterfly. What was that weird skateboard game I played? Oh, yeah. I don't know if I took a picture of that. I don't think I did. Oh, the road race one, I think, is the one you're talking about with the weird spinner in the middle. I'm the air hockey champion. We've got to make sure the puck's only on the good side. People need to know. So then we went straight from there to the Three Daughters Brewing Company, which was a massive spot. Tons and tons of square footage. A live music stage, tap room, warehouse space, darts. There was the inside bar which was a little bit more total different vibe. The warehouse was totally open and garage doors and the outside corn hole. All of their tabletops were classic game tops like Scrabble, Sorry, Checkers, Candyland. play. Different stuff you could go grab. They only had, what, four pins? But usually they have more because they're... Because that was the little shopping game spot. A lot of them, I think, they took up to the show. They probably used to have 20 there. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Because it was within, like, 15, 20 minutes of where the show was. Yeah. It seems like everywhere you went down there was pretty close. Yeah. Nice. They're a thing, games are. Nice, yeah. Good time, for sure. Good people, good show. I really, really hope that they do the show again next year because as I talk to other folks and they ask me what I thought of it, I think there's an opportunity definitely that they could sell all 1,000 tickets. I'm just worried it's going to get too popular. But if they're cutting it off at 1,000, they're cutting it off at 1,000. But this is my only gripe. Okay? This is my only gripe. The ticket system is bullshit. Yes, the ticket system is bullshit. Not that we ever did anything with it, but... You know, it's just stupid. Like, if you only sold out, okay, it's Friday and you're opening this show and you only sold 700 tickets, then sell $50 day passes. Yeah. Yeah. No, I can't disagree with you. Up to your $1,000. Yeah. Don't lose your wristband, though. No, man. I was told no one lost their wristband. But don't walk in the back door and nobody tells you to leave. Yeah, right. But, yeah, that was Pinball at the Beach. I think a good time was had by most, if not all. Your people from Stern were there, George Gomez, Brian Eddy, Gary Stern. Yeah, they were here, there, and everywhere. Zombie Eddie was in and out Jack Danger Elwin We were playing Popeye right next to Keith Elwin I saw Keith Elwin Him I saw I didn't see Jack Danger I saw George Gomez for like two minutes They were just so popular They're too cool for us I know I didn't even get to go on a ride On a Grandpa Gary's rented Harley Maybe at Expo this year You can get lucky so when i went down the orbiter one path it made me think of hey orbiter one obviously 1982 kind of passed the whole space race era but still that same sort of vibe of you know sputniks out there space games yeah so that's my mind went okay what was the era of the space race and google told me it was about basically a 20-year window 1955 to 1975 that's considered it doesn't matter 69 so Yeah. Yeah. Makes sense. So how many space-themed games do you think were made in that 20-year period? Pinball, we're just saying. Just in that 55 to 75. That's a lot of games. 438. Kyle, you're a little high, I'm going to tell you. I'm going to let him guess first. How many do you think? It's less than 435. I said 38. Okay. Still less. 77. 77? Okay. That's a solid guess. Zach, how many do you think? I saw a 105. 105, okay. Still a little high, still a little high. Still high, okay. Corbin, the closest. It was 45 that I counted. Okay. So give or take a few if I maybe missed a title or whatever else. But the first one was in 1958, a game called Rocket Ship. And then there were just a bunch here or there throughout the years. It's such one of those continually reoccurring themes. It's like cool or cars. The Earth. It's always so cool on them, I feel like. Yeah, yeah. What made me think about it a little bit was Dave Sousap and Buffalo had just picked up a Gottlieb Astro, and that was one that fit into that kind of space theme and whatever else. But if I say great space-themed pinball machine or one that you connect to or know of, what's one that you think of, Keith? Oh, Orbiter. Orbiter? Yeah, Orbiter comes right away. Yeah. Space shuttle! Are we doing any era of... Any era. So we consider it the Revenge and Attack from Mars? Without a doubt. How about Foo Fighters? I guess so. Foo Fighters. I did think Black Hole. Apollo 13. Apollo 13 was on my list because the mechs are amazing 13 multi every time Keith you said another good one in my book Black Hole Yeah that was Black Hole I heard one of you say because of the lower play field It such a space I love the Chippy Bag Glass on it To me if you're not spinning back there and you own one you're doing it a disservice What about the one coming soon to the Kyle basement Galactic Tank Force Yeah it's a good one Save the world I'm slightly in love with Champion Pub right now. How could you not be? You've got that color DMD in there. No. It's a pin 2 DMD. Pin 2 DMD. So talk about this a little bit. So it's just... I actually like the way it looks better because it's an actual dot major. We had at least a two hour conversation about this over dinner this week. And it was back and forth about how pre-Valentine's dinner I couldn't understand how you would go buy a pin DMD and then revert it back to .matrix when you could just save so much and there was no ability to go back and forth. We just couldn't. No, I like... I couldn't understand it. Why would you buy the LCD screen and then go backwards? Why are there some perfectionists that you might miss some colorized scenes? But it actually, I'm pretty sure on the USB, it comes with the editing software. So if you want to sit there and click through each scene and color it, you can do it yourself. Then you could share it with the world. Yeah, then you could save it and share it. It'd be fun. Someone who'd probably like to get in this conversation on this would be Dave from Buffalo, because I know he did a DMD that he has in his game room that scrolls across high-speed graphics and stuff from video games and whatever else. So they're definitely highly, highly programmable. Well, Cora was telling me about that road trip pinball. It's supposed to be music programmed to it or something. Yeah, so like in the middle of the plate, you can load it into different radio stations. Yeah. And you change the radio to your own playlist. Yeah, which is cool. It's like your own trip and mixtape or whatever, which I do dig. Well, then, unlike a Foo Fighters or something else. I think it was more about any of the licensing is what was the big savings. Well, then, too, you're not going to get tired of it, because you get tired of these 12 songs, put in a different 12 songs, and flip over to another station. That Kiss I redid for that guy, I put that nice board in there. You could load any song you wanted into that board, too, which was cool. Very cool. So on my list of space-themed games that I want to either own or briefly or have time on are Mars Trek, which I know people are probably tired of hearing me talk about, but I'm in love with it. That's for everyone. And just need some dedicated few weeks on it. That way I can wear myself out on it and then move on to something else. Are you considering Star Trek and Space Paddy Ball? Yes. So that's on my list, too. Do you want a pro-primer or a LE, Jeff? I want all three. Thank you very much. I want to own them all. But then talking about Star Wars, sci-fi, space type ones, Gottlieb Stargate I thought was another one that kind of falls into that. Mars is a good one right there. Talk about Stargate. I haven't seen that one. I haven't seen that one Stargate guy in a while. What's his name? Matt. Yeah, from Loseville. Yeah, I haven't seen him in a minute. He's working over at a retro video gaming store now in the mall. The name of it is escaping me right now. But, yeah, he's spending a ton of time over there. That makes sense. I actually was surprised it was the Metallica night. Yeah. And he works a lot of, you know, I think the mall closes like 8 or 9, so by the time he's off over there, then unhitched is closed and no pinball fun for Matt. But the good news for me is he hasn't been coming out and whipping my butt. He has been taken. He is guaranteed to take home the win normally. So then my second space-themed game that I need to get some serious time on is Space Hunt. Space Hunt. And I saw that Jared and Lindsay Cook today were over at Pastimes playing Space Hunt. Have you figured out? Have we looked into doing this? Have we figured it out? You know, we're going to need to do shipping. So we need to do it, right? I mean, we've got this. You know, I can't spend your money for you all the time. It's only February, man. We've got to pace this out a little bit. Have you bought that much this year yet? Yet. It's only February. That was my favorite game from Pastimes. He went straight to it. The colors, the music. Yes. I wish you could hear it better at X-Pro. This is always going to be like a couple-one thing. We're not going to have it for a couple months from the time we... That's true. I was listening to another guy on the cast today. This is like a July arrival, so you better get on it. Dude, I can't wait for her for Big Lebowski. Yeah, fair point. Alice. Alice. That should be this year. Apparently, Past Times actually now has the largest collection of pins on location location for the public in the United States. That's fantastic. We're so lucky to have that in our backyard. You don't go out there enough at all. No, dude. I just went for the first time three weeks ago and it stood there. What was I doing? It's one of those things where it's like when it is right there then you don't appreciate it, but if you had to travel to it, then it would be like, ooh, okay, this is special. I used to drive out there just for Jim Jab. Well, you said, was it miles or grand that you said it was? We need for 450. that they were loving Space Station. It's been $25. Because that's awesome. Graham is Space, yeah, Space Station's Graham, the youngest. Space Station's one that, Corbin has one, and I've been trying. Is that what's sitting out on the wall? I like, I like about Space Station when it goes to code green or red, or change, oh, I change colors. Because it has like filament tubes over top. Yes. Yeah, it's so cool. I just get into games that have all, yeah, I love the locks, I love the non-traditional bottom, all of that stuff to wear. That's the weird one where your bonus comes at the end. Yeah. As time. As time. So, yeah, when your ball three ends, it goes through everybody. Yeah. Then goes back to that player for your bonus time. And a lot of people walk away, like, especially in a tournament setting, they'll walk away and be mad, and then their 45 seconds of triple scoring burns out. Yeah, I saw Mike did end up putting, like, a little post-it or something up on the back glass of, like, hey, play your extra time. Yeah. You earn it. Anything. It's one of the greatest pinballs on the earth, according to the taxi's back glass. It's on the poster on taxi's back glass. Oh, is it? Yeah. That's awesome. World's greatest pinballs on Earth this one. Yeah. Made by the people who make the world's greatest pinball on Earth. Other cool space-themed ones that I had written down was Sega Lost in Space, another low-production one, about 600 games. It kind of uses that same mech that's on Twister and on Turtles, where it has this spinning disc with a magnet that collects the balls and then flings them around, so that's a pretty cool one. An iconic one for me that I always see around that I enjoy is Skylab. I don't know how many of those they made, but they're freaking everywhere. And then a tournament favorite is another Stern Electronics, Stern Electronics Stars. People at the tournament scene really enjoy that one. Galaxy's cool artwork, the Stern. Yeah, Galaxy's a cool one. I got backlash on my wall. And then one that I saw on the list that I don't think I've ever played is Atari's Space Riders. Sounds cool. Yeah. Sounds like a rocket through space. It's like I'm tied like a horse. And then there are some of our movie-themed ones, Alien, Guardians of the Galaxy, and the many different Star Wars games that have been made. You know, there's one big one here that I can't believe we didn't even bring up. Oh? It should be the obvious favorite. Big Bang Bar. What? Oh, my God. Yeah. I mean, how much more space-themed do you need? Man. What a fucking travesty. Swing and a miss. Oof. We're out. Go ahead and shut us down. We're done. That's it. Check out the show just on Fred. That was it. Thanks for watching. We just got to say this, God damn it. Forever. This is actually the series finale. Sorry, fellas. No, but those are the games that I had for space theme. Orbiter One, obviously, was a ton of fun. We're always looking for those weird games. I'd sent one over to Corbin earlier today that was a two-player game from the 70s. I don't remember the exact year. Called Challenger. It has to be one of the earliest head-to-head that style games that there's out there. Because there's that one. There's the Gottlieb football one. There's obviously Classic Joust. Yep. What else is there? Maybe one more that I'm forgetting? There's the homebrew one that I saw. Zach and I saw at Expo. The TNA one. There's definitely some cool things out there. So I think we've already hit up on the events that are coming up here for the next couple weeks. The only one we've not talked about is on Saturday, March the 8th at Wildside downtown in Toledo. We'll be Flip for the Cure. and I think at least three of us if not four of us sitting around this table will be up attending the event we'll probably have some fresh pinball stickers in our pockets and who knows what else so say hey and ask me for some candy and I'll give you some sugar so yes that's kind of what we have coming up the next couple weeks the Dungeons and Dragons LEs should finish up shipping here in the next week or so followed by the premiums once the premiums are out and about. Then in March, Stern is going to be producing some X-Men of both variety, pros and premiums. So if you didn't get one on the first batch, now's your chance. And then we also will get a couple more of the Metallica remastered premiums as well as a resupply of all of the accessories and those sought-after expression lights. I think we have about – Those are the shooter rods, man. Yeah. Good luck. The expression lights, we have like 12 sets on back order, and I think maybe eight of those are already spoken for. So if anyone else is looking for a set, let us know. Yeah, I need a set. No, you guys order all 12. That way Corbin doesn't get any because he wasn't supposed to have that game. So you guys teach him a lesson. Then we have to put Led Zeppelin ones in his. And we have to put, yeah, the janky Led Zeppelin ones in mine. I'll probably just do that. I really don't care. Just use the Led Zeppelin Arblades and everything. You know what? It'll all match. I think it'll be fun. Okay, so do we have a random will it fit moment? We know Kyle fits... What was that? It was a Ford Explorer that he tried to put that. He tried to put a new in box, full in the box. It would not fit, so he had to take it out. Out of the box, I felt like it was still a little tight, honestly. It barely fits. It barely fits. What was it? It was like a... I think it was a year or two old Ford Explorer. It was the sport model or whatever. What game? It was a... New in box, Godzilla premium. Really? Yeah. I mean, it was about... This is my random segment from time to time. Will it fit? Well, yeah, yeah. But, I mean, when we traded Champion Pub. What did he go see in? Ford Explorer. Yeah, this must have been a different year. Because Jason from Toledo also drove his Ford Explorer and I had to take it out of the box. But he knew beforehand. He was like, I know. How tight was it? As tight as that one we loaded, though? We didn't try because he knew ahead of time. But, I mean, even out of the box it was still tight. So the moral of the story is buy a CR-V. Apparently. What's that new box? The Ford Fit or the Honda Fit that everyone says is a Porsche. says. Everyone claims that. A fit? That's what they claim. It's in a box, dude. And he fits any pinball in it. That's what they say. A Honda fit. A Honda fit. Not an element? No. Not an element. That's crazy. I know the difference between the fit and the element. I'm a fit in the element. You can fit the element in the fit. So, okay. So, yeah, we were 0 for 2 of fitting new in-box games inside of Explorers this week. It just wasn't happening for some reason. you get from buying Exploders. They've got to have that Eco Beast. Those ones weren't that. Boom goes your head. Jeff, you know it's your job to play us out now, right? I will. I just want to go around the table here for any final thoughts. You have to start with Keith and then you play the music once Corbin starts talking. Got it. Just so you know how this podcast works. All right, Keith. Any final thoughts here before we wrap this puppy up? I've got one quick thing. So I saw the Pin Vision, the speaker grills. I haven't seen those in person yet. Oh, those are cool. Those are very cool. What are they? They were at Expo because they were at the Pin Sound booth. I didn't get a good look at them, but talk about it a little bit. Rob Burke has them on his Foo, and it basically takes your LED panel that's already there, and they use the mesh to think like your normal speaker lights, the add-on. But then it plays animations through it. And that's how I came up with the game. Wait, wait, wait. On the speaker panel? Yeah, and they look fantastic. So, like, when they got into road trip mode on Foo, they're like, the desert's moving by as they're driving. And I thought the same thing until I saw them in person. I'm like, okay, that's pretty cool. Is it $600 cool? I don't think so. But that's just my opinion. They're pretty neat. I'll just check it out. Check them out. If you see them, share your opinion. At Expo, they had them on an Iron Maiden, and it was coming up with, like, Eddie would be animated on there, and then Sphinx, and then all kinds of different things, and it was pretty cool. They were. I stopped and looked. I took a video to send to you guys, and then I never did. So you've got the videos to them? Yes, of course. All right, Kyle. Final thoughts? I think I gathered everything to have Zombie and Rick and Morty and Boring Man playing perfect for Pin Brew. We are starting to gear up for Pin Brew. That was one. We literally had a conversation. Shout out to AJ for sending us over all the STL files. Dude, shout out to all the spooky cards. They always... Same thing took care of me last week as well. Well, you guys, but everybody. But, yeah, no, we were just talking last week about gearing up for Pembroke because we want to have all the games in by probably about a month out. Yep, we're trying to plan. Halloween will be in this week. Hopefully Jeff doesn't sell any more before we get there. Sorry, guys. Nothing else for sale. I'll do better. I'm glad at least there's the four of my base. I've got to get Looney Tunes in now, too, because I'm afraid after hearing about all the stuff you did on Texas Chainsaw, like, what about this Looney Tunes? Bring it over. Yeah, I'm going to. We'll give it a touch. Yeah, we're getting stuff ready for it. Pinbrew's coming. Final thoughts, Zach? I was just about to say getting excited for Pinbrew and thinking about getting the bus fixed so we can make it out there. I was just going to ask what the status on the bus was. I've got to rip the turbo off and fix some fuel lines underneath it. It pisses diesel everywhere right now. That's a key part, getting the bus to Pinbrew. I mean, it will drive, but you lose a lot of diesel. It's less than ideal. Yeah, and probably no. I don't think the EPA has been disbanded yet. Not yet. You might want to get that fixed. Just throwing money out the window, driving down the road, you know. All right, so before we get to Corbin here, I want to tell everyone, if you're not already and you're on Discord, hop into the Spooky Created Their Own channel here, and you need to follow Corbin Mad Pinball on there because he's going to be very active in this Discord. He's a big Discord guy. He is. I mean, since February 15th, man, he's a big Discord guy. I literally am only active on the Spooky Discord, in case anyone wondered. Yes, it is spooky-pinball-chat. That's where you can find Corbin at all times. I'm in no other Discords. That's his main Discord. I'm in none other, so that is my main one, yes. The main Discord. Yeep. All right, Corbin, final thoughts here, buddy? You're on Discord right now? Yeah, I'm on Discord right now. Jeez. Right freaking now. He's already posted this podcast on there. It's already there for everyone. It's live streaming. Yes, this is actually everyone's listening to us for right now. Nothing else to say? Jeff, do you got anything? That's it. It's just follow CorbinMadPinball on Discord because that's where the action is going to be. Random location of the week, TV Tavern, Mineral City. And what do they have there? I love that. Lead, Zeppelin, Premium. Premium. With all the accessories. Topper's on the workbench right now. Oh, well. You can hit the magic spinner, though, all day and all night. Yeah, it has the expression lights. Star Tour multiball? Orange flags. Not the stairway to heaven, though. Steve Ritchie's very disappointed that there's no stairway to heaven. Shoot the ramp. Is there a ramp? The middle-ish thing. All right, everybody. I'm going to play out here with the soothing sounds of Christian Bates and the Mad Pinball jingle. Goodbye. Goodbye. Goodbye. With my dad. Good night. Call me.
