## Analysis

Joel Engleber from Flip N Out Pinball provides an extensive tutorial of Spooky Pinball's Texas Chainsaw Massacre, covering playfield layout, mechanics, character selection modes, multiball sequences, and rule interactions. He emphasizes the game's identical playfield to Looney Tunes but distinct toys, mechs, rules, and horror theming. The tutorial demonstrates various modes (Grandpa, Gas Station, Jerry, Pam, Hitchhiker, Cook, Kirk, Leatherface, Family, Dinner, Grave Rob, Wood Chase, Franklin, and Sally) with detailed shot sequences and scoring strategies.

### Key Claims

- [HIGH] Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Looney Tunes have identical playfield layouts but completely different toys, mechs, rules, and code — _Joel explicitly states this multiple times: 'the layouts look almost identical because they are—they are identical layouts, but the differences are the toys and mechs' and 'Completely different games. The rules and code completely different.'_
- [HIGH] The gate on the shooter lane is an auto-launcher to prevent multiple balls from jamming during multiball — _Joel explains: 'if you potentially were in multiball and you ever got multiple balls stuck in the shooter lane, um, it's an auto-launcher. So it may not have the power to kick it out.'_
- [HIGH] Removing the gate on location machines improves home play by allowing ball saves through nudging — _Joel describes his modification: 'if the ball's coming down this way, you have an opportunity now to save the ball. If you possibly can nudge it over this way, it'll save the ball and kick it back out.'_
- [HIGH] The game contains a meat grinder scoop for character selection and mystery modes — _Joel identifies: 'Underneath the grinder here, there's a scoop. There's a scoop. That's how you're going to select your character.'_
- [HIGH] The captive ball shot requires a hard hit rather than a backhand due to space constraints — _Joel states: 'Instead, there was no room. So, it actually the ball has to hit up. So, you really have to hit that thing hard to get the ball to bounce up to hit the switch. So, it's not something you're going to be backhanding.'_
- [HIGH] Grandpa mode features blood-draining mechanic where available switches decrease as mode progresses — _Joel explains: 'it's a switch hit mode, but the only switches that count are the ones that are currently red... I'm slowly losing what counts and what doesn't count... you're going to get to a point where only the slings count.'_
- [HIGH] Sally is the ultimate wizard mode requiring completion of Pam mode to access — _Joel states: 'I now have Sally. Sally is lit. That is the ultimate wizard mode.'_
- [HIGH] The game contains approximately 8-10 distinct character modes with multi-stage progression — _Joel systematically demonstrates: Grandpa, Gas Station, Jerry, Pam, Hitchhiker, Cook, Kirk, Leatherface, Family, Dinner, Grave Rob, Wood Chase, Franklin, and Sally modes._

## Transcript

Hello, my name is Joel Engleber and this is the Flipping Out YouTube channel. Um, thank you so much for clicking on the video. Today we're going to do a tutorial for Spooky Pinballs Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Um, this game it's few years old and uh, what's cool about this game is at the exact same time they designed Looney Tunes. So, I already made a tutorial for Looney Tunes, and if you watch that tutorial, you'll see the layouts look almost identical because they are they are identical layouts, but the difference are the toys and mechs. So, on Texas Chainsaw Massacre, we have a meat grinder. On Looney Tunes, you have a rocket, you know. So, little things. We have the uh the chainsaw guy right here at the top. On Looney Tunes, it's Taz. So, very similar layouts, but yet completely different games. Completely different games. The rules and code completely different. The theme immersion obviously totally different and uh my brother and I had an opportunity to stream this game earlier this week and I had a really good time with it. Um I'll tell you right now, warning, this is a very graphic game. It's disturbing. It's gross. So, don't watch the tutorial if you're a child. You know, thanks for clicking on it, but go watch something else. Go watch Looney Tunes. Go watch Looney Tunes. Otherwise, just be prepared. The sound in this game is absurd. It's It's The theme immersion is insane. It's incredibly well done. Spooky did a incredibly good job making Texas Chainsaw Massacre the pinball machine, but at the end of the day, it is Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and it is disgusting and disturbing and absurd in every way. Um, so yeah, if you're still here, thanks for watching. And yeah, let's uh let's dive into uh what all this game includes. So, we'll start with the normal shots and layout. good.
Um, in lane, out lane, you know, nothing nothing crazy there. One thing I did do is there is a gate. There is a gate here that goes right here. It goes right in this spot. And the reason that gate is there is so if you potentially were in multiball and you ever got multiple balls stuck in the shooter lane, um, it's an auto launcher. So I it may not have the power to kick it out. So that's why they put a gate on there. The reason I took the gate off was because if the if you're in a home environment and the ball's coming down this way, you have an opportunity now to save the ball. If you possibly can bump it over this way, it'll save the ball and kick it back out. Otherwise, if it goes down there, it's dead. It's gone. So, if you're playing this on location, there will be a gate on there. Um, if you're playing it at home, I think it's worth it. I think it's worth taking the gate off personally, but you do you. It's your machine. That's uh that's what's fun about pinball. So in lane, out lane, nothing crazy. Underneath the grinder here, there's a scoop. There's a scoop. That's how you're going to select your character. There are certain times in certain modes where you have to hit the scoop. That's where your mystery is. That's what that shot is. Then we have the left orbit. The left orbit is a spinner. There's a spinner attached to that shot. And this is the hitchhiker shot. So everything hitchhiker related will be on that left shot. Then we have the left ramp. The left ramp will come down here and it will either feed the grinder or it's going to come all the way back down and feed the left flipper. You can backhand that shot. This is going to have the gas station modes and the grandpa mode. Everything's going to be on that left ramp shot. Underneath the left ramp, there's actually a scoop here with a drop target. So, you have the BBQ targets. You'll see barbecue targets here. Uh it's a target, an opening, and a target. Um you're going to spell those or hit those shots at certain points in the game. Otherwise, you can get the ball in that scoop. What's interesting though is if the ball goes into this scoop, it actually ejects out and up that left orbit. So, it kind of sends it. You can What you can do is actually hold up this right flipper and the ball can go in the scoop and then it'll send it around the right orbit. And you can do that over and over again if you really want to. Then there is a upper left flipper. There's an upper left flipper hiding up there. You can actually hit the shot there. It's why it says sneak right here under uh right there. You can actually hit the ball up under that flipper and the ball can go down and get into the scoop that way as well. There's an upper loop here. Uh if you hit if you end up going up that upper loop from the upper right flipper, what it's going to do is it's going to come down and kind of feed down here in this area. It might go in the scoop or it's going to come down and feed in that area. There's a uh there's a target right here uh for Sally. And then you have the left the upper left ramp. The upper left ramp feeds the upper right flipper. And yes, that is something that you could do over and over again if you're really good about that shot. Then you got the main shot right up the middle. This is the door. You're going to interact with the door not only to mark to start modes, but it's also how you're going to start one of the multiballs. It's a cool mech where that door will move out of the way and you'll hit down into a scoop. Then you have the upper right ramp. The upper right ramp is going to feed all the way down here to the lower right flipper. There is a mech here where this door opens up to reveal uh the girl in the freezer. So, there are times when that happens, which is pretty neat. There's an eyeball target here that increases the value of the Sally mode. Um, so it's pretty gross when you hit that because the eye flashes up on screen. Then there's this inner right orbit that you can hit over and over again that deals with Franklin and advancing some of that. Um, so there's an upper orbit loop there. Then you have the captain ball. the captive ball instead of being a normal captain ball which is a ball and a ball behind it that are on the playfield and you hit that and just rolls back and hits a target. Instead, there was no room. So, it actually the ball has to hit up. So, you really have to hit that thing hard to get the ball to bounce up to hit the switch. So, it's not something you're going to be backhanding, but if you hit it straight on from a forehand, it registers no problem. Um, so that's the captive ball shot. You're going to use that. You can see 1 2 3 4 5. You're going to use that to light locks on one of another main mech in the game right over here. It's the hook lock. Dealing with the part where Leatherface is literally hooking bodies onto hooks. Uh yeah, so you're going to lock balls back there. Uh which I'll explain that multiple when we get there. Then we have the main right uh ramp and the main right ramp will actually go around and feed that upper left flipper. So, there's some crazy comboing shots in this. And what I mean is like you can you could go from here and then you could feed that and it could come down here and then you could come here, bounce over, go there. Like you could you could just do some crazy stuff in this game. And then you have the right orbit. The right orbit is how you're going to lock the ball. It'll go back here into a vuck to interact with the hook mech. Otherwise, it goes all the way around to the left side. Then you have the upper right flipper. The upper right flipper, you can once again shoot under that. And shooting under that upright flipper is how you lock it into this whole mech. And this whole mech deals with PAM and the PAM modes under that mech where you can lock a ball. There's also three targets over here. Special, kill, and release. You're going to use those three targets uh during certain modes to do uh certain things that you need in the mode. And then you have the plunge. So, pretty crazy layout. Pretty crazy layout. Um but yeah, let's dive in and try to explain these rules a little bit. So, step one, skill shot. You have two options. You can either push and hold the flipper, and what you're going to see is a bunch of red shots. So, it'll do a short plunge, and then you can try to hit one of those red shots for 500,000 points. Otherwise, the main thing is you're trying to hit this B target right there in the middle. So, you have to time your plunge. You're going to see this thing go back and forth. So, I try to shoot for usually on this game about 75%. And then you also want to start when the value is high. So you're going to push and hold the button. So I want to wait for the value to get high and then let her go. And if you can hit that middle B, that's how you get your skill shot. So let's go ahead and just knock out our multiballs. So multiball number one, you're going to go right up the middle. As I miss it twice, three times. There I go. Fourth times the charm. So you hit the middle shot. Come on. It's easier to hit it with the flicker than what I'm apparently throwing the ball. Holy cow. There we go. Two. And the third time. My goodness. There it is. It grabs the ball. Once it's grabbed the ball, you're going to take your other ball and hit that ball off the magnet or just avoid it eight times. All right. Now that you're in multiball, you you aim for red shots. Red shots will build the value and then you basically cash in the value at the yellow shot. If I could ever hit that shot today, that would be amazing. So that counts as one my super advance. And then if you ever see purple, you want to hit purple. Purple is your super jackpot shot. And then let's see if I can hit that other one. Nope. Try to get that in. So basically it's just red builds. Um, yellow is how you progress the multiball and then you're going to do that until a super is lit. Um, so this time I would have have to hit three yellows before the super advances. So yeah, so that's multiball. So that's the door multiball. So let's go ahead and drain down to one, get back into single ball play. That's multiball up number one. Basically a bunch up the middle. Multiball number two, which deals with the hooks. So let's see back here. these bad boys. Uh, the way you do that is first we have to hit the captive ball. So, we're going to hit that to light our hooks. There we go. So, there's one. I missed it. There we go. Two. Hook lock is lit. So, hit the right orbit and you're going to see the ball's going to be dropped onto the hook. Same thing as Leatherface putting his victim on the hook. So, we bash capped the ball again. Hit that. Come on. Hit it nice and direct. There we go. Same thing on the right. And that'll kick the next ball into the second spot. And then the third time we bash the ball twice. And then the third time is how we start the multiball. There we go. So, watch up here and you're going to see all three balls spit out. Now, this multiball is kind of unique because you can lock balls away. So, if you look at the screen here, if I hit the grinder lane or the capped ball opens the door or the freezer. So, if I want to build the value, I go under the freezer. So, that'll build the value of the shots in the multiball. Obviously, red shots are your main shots, main jackpot shots in the multiball. If I hit the meat grinder, it'll stop and it'll hold the ball over here. Keep it out of the way a little bit. Uh-oh. Purple shot. Purple shot means super jackpot. You're definitely going to hit that. And then to progress, you want to uh get in the door. So to do that, you have to hit the cap ball to open the door and then you hit the ball back in the door. So there's different ways to progress through this. Building value or just hitting your main red shots. Uh you can hold the ball over on the meat grinder and then Oh, purple shots. So, let's go ahead and hit a purple shot here for a super jackpot.
So, another fun kind of unique mode. The ball is right now grinding slowly and it's about to spit out, right? So, unique multiball. Uh, and that's the I don't know the meat the meat hook multiball. Um, so those are two two of the main multiballs in the game. Now, let's talk about the flashing light over here. This is where you select your character.
So, let's go ahead and select the character. You want to select your character based on whatever mode you're going to play. So, uh, let's focus on grandpa. Let's do grandpa's mode first. So, grandpa's mode's on the left, the left ramp. So, basically, you're going to hit a major shot three times. You can see grandpa advance one, grandpa advance two, and so the third time I hit this shot, grandpa advance three, and I just started grandpa's mode.
Family alive. So step one in this mode, white shot, white shot. And they they move. What you'll see is the white shots are currently moving. So they're actually moving to the left. There's another white shot. Now I should I think only two white shots. So my victim is running away. And my final white shot is right up the middle. Oh lord. This is where it gets gross. This is very cool mode though. So this is the second stage of the mode. Almost every mode has two stages.
It's all about Grandpa sucking the blood. So, it's a switch hit mode, but the only switches that count are the ones that are currently red. So, if you look at the top, I have no red switches up there. So, I'm losing my switches up top cuz I'm draining her blood. So, that becomes the timer. So, as this mode goes on, I'm just going to hit these. John Youssi none of this. So, like this ramp would not count anymore because that's in the the area where there's no blood. So, I'm slowly working my progress up to 16 and I'm slowly losing what counts and what doesn't count. And what you're where you're going to end up at is you're going to get to a point where only the slings count.
And once you're drained, you finish on the main shot right up the middle. And there you go. It's a ridiculous mode, but a very unique mode to say the least. So, that was the first Grandpa mode. So, if I want to do the second grandpa mode, which is now the gas station, basically I'm going to hit that same shot three times. So, there's one, there's two, and there's three. There we go. So, what is this mode? This is the gas station. So, white shots first. You're going to see a theme here. white shots and typically red shots.
Right now, I'm running a gas station. So, if I hit a red shot, I sell them a soda. If I hit a um if you hit a captive ball, you're pumping gas.
So, if I can fill that all the way up, you sell a lot of gas. I just sold $12, $10 worth of gas. Uh, white shots are how you do um I think it's like souvenir items, but basically this is just a timed mode to try to get as much money as you can. Um, so you can use that money later on to uh to buy things. Remember, I removed that gate, so that's why it saved that ball.
So there we go. So that's that mode. That's that mode is gas station and grandpa. So, I've done the two modes that are associated with him.
And being that I've done the two modes associated with that, Jerry is now the mini wizard mode is lit because that's associated with that lane of modes. So, to start Jerry, I go up the middle.
Lure Jerry into the house
before it gets too dark. How do I get there different?
Okay, so white shots. So, white shot and then let's put another blue shot. So, this is deals with combos. So, let me keep hitting blue shots here. Next combo. Once I've found the house, now I have to hit yellow shots. So, yellow shots build freezer value. And so, I can build my value all I want, but the goal is to hit under the right flipper to see the freezer. Oh man. Okay. More more yellow shots to build the value. But basically, same thing. You want to lock a ball. Oh, it I thought I There we go. You want to lock a ball under the freezer shot. There we go. And then I think we have one more freeze. No, that's it. That's the end of the mode. So, it's all about building value and then getting into the freezer. And that's how you get through Jerry. So, it's a lot of this. It's like you're basically going to do two modes and then the mini wizard mode. Now Pam is unique. The way you light Pam is you have to hit the under the flipper shot. So that's step one of Pam. Let me get that ball. Let's do it again. Let's get step two of Pam and step three of Pam. So now that Pam's done right up the middle, you can see here door starts Pam. There we go. took no sign of her boyfriend. Pam went looking inside the house.
All right, what are we going to do here? We have to torment her. So, it's a switchbased mode where you're basically hitting switches to torment Pam. That was a terrible rip. Uh, so you're just basically just trying to keep the ball alive to build up her torment meter. Um, so you can do a bunch of different stuff here. So, let's just keep hitting shots. This is where I was showing you can do this. You can have it eject. It'll shoot all the way around and then you kind of nudge it up and you can get it to go back in. So, it's an easy way to just continually get switches here, at least on this model. So, you hear the pigs squealing. You hear So, now that she's tormented, what do we need to do? Go right up the middle to start multiball. All right. So, this multiball shot, what is it? Green locks. So, we need to get under here to lock a ball. Red shots score um jackpots. Here we go. That'll lock another ball. Double lock points. Cool. Gives me a ball back out. And we have a super jackpot. Let me talk about using my five ax multiplier here. If I double tap, that means I have a super shot. So, whatever my next shot is will be multiplied by a lot. So, that was actually worth more. Um, so the Pam mode is a is an interesting mode that gets a lot deeper, but that's the Pam mystery mode. So, we have Franklin and Kirk.
Uh, the way that we're going to do that is by playing more modes. extra ball.
So, let's do uh let's work our way through hitchhiker or drain. Okay, that's cool.
Player one, you have an extra ball.
I mean, at this point, I've basically shown you everything you would need to see in the game, but if you want to continue to see you these unique modes, feel free to keep watching. So, let's go ahead and knock Hitchhiker out. So, we're going to do three shots over there. There we go. And so, Hitchhiker is lit. So, I have to do the door to start Hitchhiker, which apparently is just one of the more challenging shots from Hit Throw in the game.
Get a ride home.
Should we pick him up?
Oh, yeah, man. Pick him up. He'll fixate out there.
What does he look like?
Smell just like
All right. So, white shots first.
So, there's another white shot. So, I'm in the car.
You have to do four white shots. It's a good picture.
One more white shot.
There we go. Back to the picture.
And that'll get you to the second phase of the of the mode, which happens to be a multiball.
All right. If you ever see purple, purple means super jackpot. So definitely do that. jackpot.
So to get to these mini wizard modes, like to get to uh those you typically to beat the mode, it's it counts as you have to get to the second phase of the mode. So in this case, the second phase of the mode was the multi. Um so there's some unique stuff you can do in that mode.
So that's the first one. So let's go ahead and do the second the second mode on this shot, which is the hook. So there's one, two, three. All right. Right up the middle to do the cook. God,
why is that so hard? Make barbecue from
barbecue here. Why don't you fellas stick around here a while?
So step one, you got to hit this just to get up in the grinder. Now this ball that's in the grinder is kind of like a timer. It's slowly going to move. So, while it's doing that, you can hit yellow shots to build the value, but basically, you need to survive until this ball kicks down. You can make the grinder go faster by hitting the the left orbit. Once it comes out, now I'm cooking around.
So, to cook, what I have to do is I first have to heat my meat up. So, I'm going to have to hit the left spinner to get to the right thing. So, I need to get to medium well. So, I need to increase my temperature. I'm at medium rare. There we go. Medium.
I need to get to medium well. This, remember, this is a multiball, so this would be chaotic. Here we go. So, now I'm at medium well. And now I can just start hitting shots. But you don't want to overcook it.
And uh
um now the inner orbits, the the yellow uh can increase the value of the jackpots. And then I have a purple shot. because I thought it would be a super jackpot.
Jackpot.
So that's me serving my meat and now I have the next order
which is medium rare. So medium rare. Once again, you want to increase the temperature of the meat. I mean, it's just it's an absurd mode. M mode ends when you drain down to one bowl. All right. So that's the two modes that I've done over on
on the hitchhiker, which is lit Kirk.
Kirk is lit right up the middle. Pam heard the sound of a gasoline generator and went looking for the source.
Okay, so this thing white shots. It's always white shots first. So I found the correct path. So let's keep going on that. Oh, it changes. So I found the first correct path. Second one was the correct path. Let's find another one. Wrong path. Wrong path. Sounds like it's on the right cuz the audio is on the right. Generator found. So, I found three shots to
I'm guessing I got to go right up the middle. Loot builds jackpot if we want to do that first and then we're going to go up the middle. O. So, now we're at the second part of it. The white shot slice of the steak. Oh my goodness. Are we We're cutting them up right now. That's what we're doing. That's what we're doing in this moment. We are cutting up the body. Right shot. Slice up the steak. Oh my goodness. Neat. What is this? Let's hit the last white shot. Come on. This I have two balls. It's three ball multimol right now. Slicing completed. Oh man. And then we get another piece. Oh, what is this game? What is this game? Okay. Well, I'm going to drain down. That would be the Kirk mode. Train to one ball. Franklin, we're going to work our way over here. So, we have to do Let's go and do leather face. So, same thing. You hit the shot three times and door starts leather face. So, let's go ahead and start him. Come on. I don't know. I just don't know at this point, guys, why throwing a ball right up the middle would be so hard. Catching and killing. Catching and killing. That's what this game is. So step one, we you can build value on the yellow shots or you just progress by bashing the door. This is all about bashing the door enough times. And then
we're chopping up meat. We're chopping up meat.
So, this is a uh the way that this mode works is you can hit enough shots until the victim's chopped enough and then you can go up the middle if you want to uh to get a new victim. Uh the way you get out of this mode, it's not timed. The way you get out of this mode is you hit your action button and that'll allow you to cash out and just end end the mode which I think I have to do actually. Let me I think I have to because I started another victim. I think I have to do it here. So, let's get back in. Come on. My goodness. One more. All right. I think it's at this point instead of picking a third victim, um, I'll watch my button here and that's when I'll cash out. So, there we go. There we go. Two more to light door. So, it's at that point where the door is lit. You can either say yes, give me another victim, or let me leave the mode, which is right now. So, give me another victim or I'm going to say I want to leave the mode, cash out value, and I'm back down to one ball.
All right, so let's do the family. The family
is going to be
three shots.
Okay. And then I'm going to go up the middle.
Welcome to the family. Okay, this mode, your victim's hiding and she's going to be behind one of four shots. So, you try a shot and you hope that's where she is. So, if you look, this could be a shot.
Not there. That could be a shot. Found her. Now that I found her, I have to hit this kill target. If I accidentally hit the release target, though, she gets away
and then I have to find her again. Let's find the shot. Found her.
Kill target. Killed.
And I have to do that multiple times. So, this shot is done. So, let's see if she's here. Oh, I got lucky. She was there. Killed.
My two other shots are up top. So, let's see if we can find her. Found her.
Killed her.
You're a naturalb born killer.
And the last shot left. Found her. Killed her. And that's how you do that mode.
Lord. Okay. So, I've done the family. So, that's the two of those.
So, Leatherface is ready to go again. But what I can do is I can start the dinner, which is a another mode. So, let's let's start dinner.
Begins a dinner of unimaginable horror.
Oh my goodness. [screaming]
All right. Dinner. So, yellow arrows, white arrows serve food. Yellow arrows increase the value. So, let me just hit some white arrows here.
Where's my next one? Oh, the course is complete.
Oh man, two servings left. There we go. There's one. There's two.
The second course is complete.
Course complete.
Time for the third and final.
My goodness, this game. White shot serve food. There's a white shot. There's a white shot. And then dinner complete right up the middle. And now I'm in a multiball. Um, so what do we want to do in this multiball? Hit white shots. And that's how we're eating our food now that dinner served. White arrows shoot.
Yep. And this is where we get points. So, two more plates worth of food to light our super. So, there's there's one.
And then right up the middle. Oh, it's gross. Oh, it's gross. And that is the dinner mode. So, we can keep working our way through that. So, I'm going to drain down to one ball. Okay. So, we've done Hitchhiker, we've done the grandpa lanes, we've done the Leatherface or the family lanes. That only leaves us the far right orbit. That's how we'll get to Franklin. All right, we're about to do Grave Rob. Grave Rob is another These are all extremely unique modes. Extremely unique. Nightfalls.
All right. So, grave robbing, you are digging your grave.
So, to do this though, you're going to hit a shot. You want to pick a shot that you can repeat easily.
So, now this is the shot I have to hit. If you look though, I have a red and red and blue flashing shot. That's the police. And the police are going to slowly work their way over to me. So, let me see if I can hit it again. See how it's now in the inner orbit? So, let me do one more. There we go. That's one dig. So now the police are still over there. So I need to pick my next spot. You want to pick a spot that's far away from the police. The police are heading that way. So let's go right orbit.
Okay. And now only the right orbit counts and the police are going to come over towards me. So I got to hit this shot quick.
There we go. And if you do two completed, that's how you do the mode. So very unique mode. And I think that leaves us our last mode, wood chase.
Three. So the super shots, I've built enough combos to hit a threshold. So I'm at the 3x super shot. That's where you would double tap double tap your your extra button over there to uh to to have that one shot be worth 3x through the wood. Make combos to chase.
Make combos to chase victims. So here's a combo. If I ever see purple, I'm hitting it.
Victims.
There's the first one. Trapped. So, let's do another combo.
Combo. We can keep doing combos. Let's get our victim trap. Come on. There we go. To chase victims.
All right. So, let's do one more. Victim tracked. If I can hit the shot. Holy cow. I've missed that probably 30 times at this point.
There's three. Okay, now what do we do? Catch white lights. So, do John Youssi how the white lights are moving across the playfield? So, there's one caught. Okay. And then we end the mode. Well, that ends the mode cuz I caught it. So, now that I've done all those, Franklin is lit up the middle.
If I can hit it.
All right. All right. Okay, this deals with a flashlight.
So, what you're going to see is all the shots are going to light,
but you're looking for the blue shot. So, there's the blue shot. So, the blue shot is how you find them. So, you kind of have to pay attention. Not the light blue shot. That's combos. The dark blue shot. Over here is the dark blue shot. You'll see the the flashlight go away. There's the dark blue shot. So, you got to get under control and you got to pay attention. So, where's the white? Uh, I think it's here. Dark blue shot. Once you've done three,
And now we're in the multiball aspect of it. So, red shots are how you slice up Franklin. Oh, man. Yep. And then the door. Yeah, it adds multi balls or adds more shots. So basically red shots, you hit enough red shots to uh open up the door and that's how you get your your jackpot. All right, I'm going to go ahead and drain down. But that's how you do the Franklin mode. So being that I did the Pam mode based off of her specific shot under the flipper,
I've done that. I now have Sally. Sally is lit. That is the ultimate wizard mode
right up the middle. Uh what I will say is if you happen to do that right lane first, uh that's like a nighttime activity. When you go to do the gas station, the gas station will be a nighttime gas station mode. So let's uh do Sally. Uh I'm assuming
Zach will not show this. to lock three more balls on hook.
I don't think Zach showed you that in mode, but I will say that mode is pretty cool. It's all about locking balls, keeping them where they are, building up, and then basically you're going to drain event like you'll inevitably drain down to one ball, and then when you get down to one ball, you have one final shot to escape. So, very unique mode if John Youssi it. But I've shown you everything. I've shown you everything in this game. Uh the key here is if you're a tournament player, you can build up the value of your modes. That's typically the yellow shots. The yellow shots are typically not a progression thing. It's building the values of your jackpots. And then combos are how you build up your meter. And you can either cash out the value of that meter at any point by hitting the hitting the middle button. Otherwise, you double tap the extra flipper button and your next shot is going to be multiplied. So you can have some really cool moments there. Um, otherwise just play the game. And by playing the game, you're going to find what modes you really enjoy. So, like the grandpa mode where you get to the second phase and the the plate field's full of blood and it's slowly draining and you're having to hit certain switches. Very unique mode. Every honestly all of them are very unique modes. Every mode has a phase to it. So, if you drain while in the first phase, you can actually get back into that mode to get to the second phase. And by progressing through the second phases, that's how you get your mini wizard modes lit. Once again, very unique modes. And if you happen to play all four mini wizard modes, that's how Sally ends up getting lit. And then that's how you can get to the final wizard mode plus the two multiballs. The one off the captive ball with the meat hooks and then the other the door right up the middle. So plenty to do in this game. They did Texas Chainsaw Massacre incredibly well. The game's disgusting. That's probably obvious. You probably saw it. When you have the audio blasted and the lights are off, it is a disgustingly brutal game. And uh if you're into that, if horror, that type of vibe is your vibe, you're going to absolutely love this game. Um otherwise, if you just enjoy the way it shoots, go play Looney Tunes. You can absolutely enjoy the way it shoots with a more light-hearted vibe. And that's what's really cool about Spooky and what they did with that dual release of this game. Um so I know they're still selling these. If you want one, reach out to Zack at flippingoutpinball.com. He will hook you up. Otherwise, I know Spooky themselves are still selling those. Um so very fun game, very unique game. I know this was a long tutorial, but I just really wanted to show all the unique modes um because they're really neat. They're a lot of fun. So, thanks again for clicking. If I forgot anything, write it in the comments. Like, subscribe, do all the things. I appreciate you guys. And um yeah, I'll see you on the next one.
