## Analysis

Punk Rock Pinball hosts discuss the explosive growth of PRPA (Punk Rock Pinball Association) tournaments, with nearly 300 players across 20+ events in early 2026. They make bold predictions for the year: Pokemon pinball will be the biggest hit of 2026 and potentially the biggest machine ever; Stern needs at least three hits after mixed 2025 results (Kong and Walking Dead Remastered underperformed; D&D and Jaws 50th succeeded). They also preview upcoming tournaments, celebrate community players qualifying for state finals, and discuss trading/selling machines from their collection.

## Transcript

Hello. We're here. Welcome back. Sunday. Rock pinball podcast. Episode 29. Oh my gosh. Almost 30 holy smokes we're almost 30 can you believe it can you believe it i can't believe it sunday night here sunday night 7 14 and a sunday night bears just lost to the detroit lions turns out i think the game was irrelevant it doesn't factor in the standings really but what are you gonna do well i'm sorry about your bears yeah but they're going to the playoffs they're going to the playoffs probably going to play the Packers but this isn't a sports show nope it isn't it's a pinball show it's a pinball show it's a pinball lifestyle show pinball lifestyle we live it yeah we do we live the pinball lifestyle we lived a lot of pinball this week it feels like this is a very big week for the punk rock pinball association I know it kind of like epic week for that it's really cool yeah I'm kind of like yesterday was Saturday and there were two punk rock pinball association events happening one in Colorado yep in Pueblo at a place called I wanted to make sure I say it right Bite Me Cake Company, which looks super cool. Our friend Barry didn't show up. No, shameful that Barry didn't show up. And they had a really cool format. This format, I can't wait to try this. So they called it Price is Right. I watched the live stream. It was pretty fun. You can find it on Twitch. I forgot what the person's handle is. Death something, something death. But the whole concept of the Price is Right was they had the yellow Price is Right kind of price tags put on different machines with a number. Let's just say five million on Deadpool. I'm making this up. And you had to get a score closest to that goal number without going over just like Price is Right. Yep. It looks like they had five million on. What's that one? that they have the Merlin's edition of Medieval Madness. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. Because I'm seeing the stream. Writer of Death 18 on Twitch is where they stream them. And they had 27 players. It looked like fun. Yeah. We're going to do that tournament at the HQ sometime, a tournament like that. I want to go to this place, though, Cake and Pinball. What? That sounds so cool. And then there was another big PRPA tournament the same day at ORD. In West Chicago at the Pinball Speakeasy is what I like to call it. Because you kind of need to know where it is to find it. But the ORD is also a private pinball club, and they were kind of an inspiration for RHQ. So, yeah, we definitely looked at them for to see how they were doing it, kind of as an example of how it could work. We don't do ours exactly the way they do theirs, but it's pretty similar in that there's a group of us and we all have machines in there. They have a lot more machines in theirs than we have in ours. They have a lot more people and a bigger population of pinball players up in the Chicagoland area for sure. But they had a pretty great turnout. I think almost 40 people. I think they had 40 players. Because looking at match play, it looks like they did two tournaments. I don't know. One had 40. So cool. And they did a flip frenzy, which is also a fun format. Yes. I should see who won those. I had the match play pulled up. But no, I've lost it. Well, that is super cool. And what was fun at that one is they had two new games that they had brought in new to them. They had the Jersey Jack Pirates of the Caribbean, which is like a rare find. You don't get to see that out in the wild very often. So that's pretty cool. And then they also brought in a future spa, which everybody loves. So that's kind of cool that they had had those at the tournament. And it looks like it was a really good time looking at all the pictures. Yeah. I'm jealous that we weren't able to make it up to that one either. It looks like at the Colorado tournament, Benji Caldera won. It was in first place. Cool. I'm going to butcher these names. Tony Pujaro was in second. Justin Rauch was in third and tied for third was Laura Medina. And fifth was Evan Mercer. That's your top five. Cool. for the Colorado one. And the Colorado folks are organizing a Bells and Chimes PRPA event. Awesome. And then I'm looking for finals for the Flip Frenzy at ORD. It looks like Bob Twitchell won. Darren Mungerson was second. Well, it shows them all with seven points, so I'm not sure who the official winner is. They have not uploaded their results, so they're not reflected on our leaderboard yet. So we'll have to see when their results. But it looks like the top four were Bob Twitchell, Darren Muggerson, Tanyo Klyce and Dave Heggie. We know Dave Heggie. Yeah. That's the only name that's familiar to me on that. Looks like Kat Davis made the finals. Kat Davis is probably at the top of the leaderboard. She's going to be eventually. For the number of events played. And, like, she's bonkers. And we had our New Year's Eve one at Joe and Shelly's. We hadn't done a podcast since then, have we? No, we haven't. So that and those results are on the leaderboard, which means that our very own Shelly Sharp is number five now on the PRPA leaderboard. The top four are still Kansas City folks. Mark McCulpin, still number one. That's soon to change once we have a couple more here, I think, unless Kansas City is doing some more tournaments. Jeff Davis, Nick Greenup, James Skelly, and then Shelly and Jeremy Larson are tied at fifth. Nice job. Well, we've got a couple events coming up this week that Shelly will be able to maybe move up a notch. Like in the next couple weeks. well on sunday we have this coming a week from today we have our um prpa slash ifpa event at poor bros you know what's before that is our league our league starts on thursday this coming thursday night the league at prphq i'm expecting mostly just members to be in that although uh Jack is coming. Jack will be here at that. Cool. So that will count for PRPA points as well. Yep. So Shelly, if she plays in the league and she comes to Poor Bros on Sunday, she could be number one. Yeah, grind it out, Shelly. If she plays good. Shelly might be your new number one soon. Oh, man. So we have our League Thursday. On the 11th, you have Poor Bros. What's next? um then we also have on the 13th uh level up and east moline has an event okay um i'm sorry on the 10th the at golden brew in st charles illinois there is it a prpa event on the 11th poor bros i'm doing this so out of order yeah in bloomington on the 17th at pr um prphq we've got a double header it's a saturday come on over and then on uh january 21st in missoula montana the very first prpa event in montana what's the venue for that i don't know because i couldn't tell oh what's the venue for that seth i'm not sure seth where are you doing it at at a pinball place in missoula i mean i don't know how many pinball places there are in missoula so maybe if you if you're from that area you might know where it is already so that's pretty awesome um let's see we also played in a tournament on friday at the movie theater here in town the golden ticket i made the finals but i got out after the semi-final round i didn't make it i didn't make the finals i played terribly I played okay. On the Black Knight of all games. They were set up like tougher than what we've been playing on. Yeah, or just different. I think that Black Knight's just different. I don't think it's harder than ours. It's different, though. Well, the Cactus Canyon had no rubbers on the outlanes, and it really screwed me up. That was tough. With no rubbers on Cactus Canyon, it comes down the inlane so fast. Lickety split. So fast. I drained coming down the end lane, which is embarrassing. Well, you know. But I did. Yeah, so it was a big pinball week, the first week of this new year. The Missoula Montana tournament is at a place called Guild, G-I-L-D. It's a brew pub offering craft beer and Mexican drinking food. Is that tacos? Brew Pub offering craft beer and Mexican drinking food. I bet it's like tacos and nachos and guac. Sounds good. I wish we were closer to Missoula, Montana. We'd come out there and play with y'all. Oh, the food looks kind of fancy, actually. Ooh. Yeah. It does look, ooh. I like that. Pache stuff. Got some nice drinks. Delicious. Hope y'all have fun out there. Yeah, take lots of pics. And I hope the St. Charles Tournament is fun, and I hope the East Moline Tournament is fun. Mm-hmm. I think after we get all those and we get the results from this weekend's tournaments, we'll probably be over 300 players. And within a week or so, we'll be over 20 PRPA tournaments. That's pretty awesome. Yeah, it's growing. For an idea we came up with. Yeah it really neat We just conjured up this idea and now there been 300 players from a variety of places all played these things and it's just because we wanted to do this thing. It's kind of neat. It's very neat. Super neat. All right. So also part of the reason why we started doing this podcast was to get more people that we know to play more pinball. And I'm going to call out Barry Binder again, who has not made a resolution to play more pinball. No. It's not a resolution, but he's going to. He's going to. They're already doing it. And I think that's awesome. He and his wife, Tracy, which I think is super awesome. And I feel like that means that we probably should go visit them and go play a tournament with them. We should go play a tournament with them in Colorado, and then they should come here. Barry and Tracy should come here for a weekend of training. Yes. Because while we're not the best pinball players in the world, I think we're good enough to train Barry and Tracy a little bit. Okay. Because they're brand new. I love this. And we have a lot of games. We have like 27 at the HQ. We've got six in this house. So we can learn them up on a lot of games. Come to the boot camp. Come a weekend of boot camp. Barry and Tracy, name the weekend, and we'll level up your skills a little bit. So when you do make the Pueblo next PRPA tournament, you're going to be solid middle-of-the-pack finishers. Totally. Yeah. I'll get you to the middle. So fun. So super fun. Oh, you know what else we're getting ready to do in a couple weeks is to cheer on our friend Shelly Sharp, who made the Illinois State Women's Finals. Yeah, congratulations, Shelly. Yes, Shelly made it. We know a handful of other ladies that have made it as well in a bunch of different states. Actually, we know people that have qualified in Wisconsin and Iowa and Michigan. Yeah, so like Dory up in, Dory qualified in like five states. dory's going to be hosting some prpa tournaments in wisconsin i think she's probably going to play in the wisconsin finals emily grows i think qualified in at least two or three states she and her husband host prpa tournaments in iowa there and we have shelly here who's one of our tournament directors and the main character in the Bloomington PRPA scene. Yep. So congratulations to all you ladies. And Lily made it. Lily made it. In a bunch of different states. She hasn't decided where she's going. I think Lily made it in at least four states. Mm-hmm. Yeah, I think if I made it in like four states, I don't know if Illinois would be the one I'd play in. That's what she said to me. Like, it's like the hardest one. Mm-hmm. because I know all those other states probably have at least one real mega badass, but Illinois, there's like the three top. Jane, she's gnarly. So good. Yeah, I wouldn't want to play any of them. So that's exciting, and I'm sure somebody's going to stream that stuff. Yeah. But I'm excited to go cheer that up. Maybe we'll go watch Shelley in person, because that happens the day after our finals or our tournament here. We won't be able to go see Joe and CJ from our scene here who made the Illinois State Finals. And I think Luke might have made it, Luke Pierowski. He was on the bubble. He's on the bubble. He might have made it. Hopefully he did. Nice thing is our next event at the HQ, the big tournament, those guys will be playing in the state finals so it's an opportunity it's a big opportunity yep for all of us mid players with like the top few guys gone yep a lot on the line there is a lot on the line and shelly probably won't be there either because she'll probably be up there with joe yeah so we'll probably have a very small handful of the elite players here not there that day so if you're like a noob and you want to come to a punk rock pinball hq tournament that 17th would be a nice one to come to you come on over come on down what else you got on your list today honey i don't know oh and i i think our friend john lewis from the dopamines is is coming to the next monthly tournament that's awesome if you want to meet John from the Dopamines. I think MXV is coming down. Yep, and Chris. And Chris. Hopefully. We miss her. Some pinball celebrities, some punk rock celebrities. I don't know what our main topic is today. Do you want to make some predictions about 2026? Yeah. Okay. I'm predicting that I'm going to want some more pinball machines. Yeah, I think we're going to want a lot. I think a 2026 is going to be a problem. Well, you know what? We're going to be selling our Cactus Canyon. If you want to buy a Cactus Canyon. It's real nice. It's got all kinds of fancy mods on it. Send me an email. Mike at livefromtherockroom.com. Nice Cactus Canyon LE. We're going to be moving that one out. Okay. and so that one that money can go towards something else because we're pretty sure ces is starting this week we're anticipating a pokemon thing prediction number one of 2026 is that we'll see pokemon and we will want it maybe the day after this video comes out could be so then we might have to make a video the next day after this comes out i might have to make another one yeah after we see it and ingest it yeah friend of mine is a photographer at trade shows and he is on his way to ces today so because of this pokemon thing i've started getting back into the cards yeah i stopped by um i stopped by the card shop on the way to my parents which is not on the way it's not to go watch the bears you had to go across the busy street i had to cross the busy Street, I bought a Pikachu. One? Yeah, I'm going to mostly buy the singles that I want. Okay, that's smart. Because I like some of the more expensive ones, and those are hard to pull. So I bought the Pikachu, and then I bought, what was it, an Eevee one from the Prismatic Evolutions. and it's like a $130 card. But to rip enough to pull that card, you'd probably spend, if you're even remotely not lucky, you could spend $1,000. So you saved money? Just get the card. Mm-hmm. Get the card. Okay. And I'm going to grade them. Okay. I'm waffling on what grading company because I just don't like PSA that much, even though they sell for the best. I think I'm going to go CGC on that so you might have to hear about some Pokemon collecting stories along the way here well that's exciting what's your prediction? so I predict that Stern will have at least three machines this year that are considered to be hits. And I think they could use that. I think that will be good for them. Well, D&D, from 2025, D&D was a hit for them. Maybe not within the pinball community, but outside of the pinball community. Fair point. Fair point. And, I mean, Jaws 50th. Jaws 50th, I think, was a big hit. What else? What did Stern do all in 2025? King Kong. I don't think King Kong was as big of a hit as they wanted it to be. No, and I don't think The Walking Dead is as big of a hit as Metallica was last year. Not even close. Not even close. The Walking Dead remastered is great. We have it. But I have to say, based on the vibe of what I see and how little coverage that machine is getting from anybody, and I'm not seeing people posting anywhere about it, I would say sales-wise, The Walking Dead Remastered was a flop. I think maybe once they get some code updates on it, it might pick up. It should pick up. It's great. It's fun. It's great. I would say Kong, based on what you would project for it, Kong was a flop sales-wise or a disappointment. It's also a very good game. It's fun. So I'm not saying it's flopping that it's a bad game. I think it had to have been a sales disappointment. So you had those two. D&D, I think, was a success. Jaws 50th was a success. Are we missing one or is that it? I feel like we're missing one. Yeah, like we're missing one too. But we're tired. But I think Pokemon is going to be a bigger hit than any of those we just mentioned. Pokemon is going to be bigger than any of those. Pokemon will be the biggest pinball machine of 2026. Prediction. Put it on the board. It's on the board. It's going to be the biggest machine of 2026 and probably after five, six years, the biggest pinball machine of all time. Bold. And if they do Transformers, I think that's going to sell. if they did a batman 66 anniversary that's gonna sell if they do a fallout with keith ellen we're buying that's gonna sell and then who knows if they do a remastered acdc forget about it banger of the year all hits it's all hits i think transformers would probably sell the least of those but it would be I think it would be successful. Well, only time will tell. Which, excluding Stern, what other manufacturer are you excited about for 2026 to see what they might do? Well, I already know that Spooky's doing Planet of the Apes, so I'm pretty excited about that. Well I think all Spooky doing next year is building Beetlejuice And debuting Planet of the Apes Like in the Q4 so spooky Spooky going to unveil Planet of the Apes You excited about that Very excited But outside of that then What am I most excited about? Are there any other manufacturers outside of Stern where you're like, hmm, I wonder what they're cooking up? Well, what are the people that did Dune and... Barrows of Fun. I'm curious on what they got cooking up. I'm very curious. They're the only ones that would make me say, hmm. Yeah, because allegedly Dutch pinball might have Back to the Future or something. Thankfully, I don't really want that theme because Dutch makes them slow and they don't make a lot of them. And they're expensive. Yeah. Yeah, I'm not, like, and their games are beautiful and fun. Like, they did the big Lebowski and the sexy Alice in Wonderland, which is really gorgeous. But they, like, not on my list. No, I think Barrels of Fun is very intriguing. And I almost hope that they don't have a theme that we really want. So that we don't want it. Yeah. because i already know like let's assume stern has pokemon and fallout well there's two and then let's say that barrels of fun has goonies oh jesus i mean done done like you just have to we'd have to sell some other machines or start donating plasma oh my gosh yes i mean that's like That's a dream theme for me. I love that movie so much. Like, next to Jaws, that's in there for me, and Kill Bill. And I think with what Barrels of Fun has done on their last two, I'm very intrigued and excited with what they will do next. Mm-hmm. Because I think Dune was, like, a huge step better than Labyrinth. I agree. I wanted, like, I want to love Labyrinth. I just don't. But Dune's pretty cool. Dune is very cool. Dune is very cool. And then the Winchester Mystery House, like super cool. Do you think Carl, the guy who designed Winchester House, will be working on another game with Barrels of Fun? I predict that the next Barrels of Fun cornerstone game will be Carl D'Python Anghelo. Because I think that just that would be the move for them. That would be the move. And I would be very excited about that. So if there's a Goonies designed by Carl D'Python Anghelo, then you're just going to put a deposit down without seeing it, aren't you? Yeah, I am. Sorry, Albert. Play before you pay unless it's Pokemon or Goonies. We came to an agreement with Albert that Pokemon was okay, but Goonies is also okay. I mean, that could be your okay. Goonies is my okay. Yeah, I got my okay. Everybody gets one. Everyone gets one. Everybody gets one. Except for Goonies. Right now it's Goonies. Especially if it's Carl on the layout. Oh, my God. Because the Winchester layout, although I've only played two balls on it, seems so cool. yeah the third ball is where it really like you really missed you missed it i did because everything you without knowing it we all had things set up and the third ball exploded it was really fun yeah i missed that one day one day you'll get to play three balls on that game i forgot to ask our friend ryan white if uh pinball and perry has got one of those i bet i bet he does Ryan you could text me if you watch this I know you watch them sometimes has he got a Winchester coming? I sure hope so we'll go out there and play that I know they have a Beetlejuice coming so we'll be playing that that'll be fun it's neat to have a place it's not real close but it's not crazy far it's two hours he will have usually all the most rare ones because I think he has a Predator now or it's coming so we can go play predator there we can play when well i don't know if we can play winchester there but we can play beetlejuice he's got all the other barrels though you're right yeah he's got the sexy alice he's got the alice in wonderland he has dune he has labyrinth right so he'll probably have it fingers crossed that'll be cool yeah because who else is there i think american pinball is going to have something don't really care i mean the houdini is kind of fun. Did Jeff just get that? Jeff got a Houdini. That's a fun one. He said it's very difficult. Shots are tight. But that's okay. You just got to shoot them better, Jeff. Yeah, our friend Jeff, who is in the club, what a nice guy. He made some custom shooter rods for us. Oh yeah, we should have brought some so we could show on the video. Yeah. He made punk rock pinball shooter rods. Next video, we'll bring one home and show you. Yeah, pretty cool. That's cool. I was thinking of maybe putting a couple on the merch store so you could order them. Well, let us know. Is that something you would be into, people? Do you want a punk rock pinball shooter rod? I can pay Jeff for them. We can put a handful up on the web store. They look cool. They do look cool. Let us know if that's something you want. We can make it happen. Okay. Okay, so that's, I mean, Chicago Gaming Company, they're building more medieval madness. That's all I know about them. Yeah, I like playing their games, but they just take too long and they kind of frustrate me. We want a Pulp Fiction eventually. Yeah, but you can get that used. Yeah, we want to have one eventually. But, I mean, if they announce a new thing, it's like it won't be delivered this year. So Pinball Brothers, I don't know what they're working on. Oh, Pedretti. Oh, yeah. They're saying it's maybe Theater of Magic is the remake. I think they definitely said that. Because everyone thought it was going to be Tales of the Arabian Nights. But now it's looking like Pedretti doing Theater of Magic. That's interesting. That is interesting. And I feel like they cranked those fun houses out pretty fast. Mm-hmm. It didn't take them forever to do those. So Theater of Magic remake, I don't think that we'll buy one. I think Joe and Shelly would be really interested. It's a good game. It's a great game. I would encourage somebody that's a PRPHQ member to maybe get one and put it in there. I don't think that will be on our list to buy right away. No, but you never know what you're going to trade. Yeah, you never know. It's cool, though. If you had to trade a game today from our collection, excluding Cactus Canyon, what do you pick? Uncanny X-Men. Yeah. Without a doubt. Yeah, I don't disagree. We did get rid of Avatar. Avatar is gone. Avatar is gone. The 2012 X-Men is gone. Uncanny X-Men is on the list to be gone. I bet you Uncanny X-Men does not see 2027 in our collection. Nor will Cactus Canyon. No. No, no, no. Cactus Canyon is the game that we've had the longest. Yeah. We've had a Jaws the longest, but not this Jaws. No. Yeah. Nope. Do you think any other games you think won't survive the year? I don't know. but it makes me think about like when we first got our jaws pro and cj gave us advice do you remember this and he said don't get sentimental about your machines yeah like don't get attached to don't get it it was the best advice because we're like oh okay yeah because we've swapped out a bunch of them like everything that like the cactus canyon we got in july of 2024 it's the game that we've had the longest everything else that we've well that we got at that time or before has been traded three other machines yeah Jaws Pro gone Avenger or Venom Venom gone Von Pro gone Avengers Avengers Infinity Quest gone and then Cactus is the lone survivor but it will be gone it will be gone it will be gone who's next on Kenny X-Men after that. I feel like these are probably going to survive the year. These will survive the year. I love the Foo Fighters. In fact, there is a guy, I don't know if you watched it, on the Punk Rock Pinball Facebook group. I wrote his name down because I wanted to check. Andrew Golson. Okay. He did a tutorial. He does tutorials. I think he must work from home or something. He does them during his lunch break. Okay. I think. um but he did a tutorial on foo fighters and it was really a good one if you want to learn how to play foo fighters and or just maybe learn something you didn't know he takes the glass off okay and he just like triggers things either with his finger or he's just like tossing the ball around which is kind of it's cool because he's showing you the shot and explaining to you like what it does or what you're shooting for without having having to watch someone try to do it and maybe not make it yeah it was really cool that's what um the flipping out pinball stream that's what joel does oh really yeah i didn't know that and then the other guys on the triple drain podcast tease him because he does that yeah well i appreciate it and tom graff teased him because he does his tutorials by taking off the glass and rolling the ball around well i i liked it and And when this fellow did the Foo Fighters, I just thought it was a really good one. So if he watches, thank you for doing that because it was really entertaining. Yeah, it's a good way to do a tutorial, I think, unless you're like a world-class player. Yeah. It's easier to just take off the glass and say, you hit this and poke it. Yeah, and his production value is pretty good. His audio is good. I enjoyed it. I meant to tell you we should watch more of his videos. Okay, we'll watch his videos. because that's the other thing I want to mention I'm kind of curious like what other content on YouTube people watch because we like in a YouTube hole show hole We in a YouTube hole Yeah What are you watching on YouTube Put it in the comments Yeah. What are your favorite YouTube channels? It doesn't have to be pinball. If you have a pinball one you love, feel free to comment it below. We watched some of the pinball ones. I wish there were a bigger variety of pinball ones. I would welcome if you if you want to start a new pinball channel, you should. Yeah. Or if you watch like a smaller channel like ours, like I would like sometimes those people don't show up in your feed. Yeah. So I'd like to see some of like that stuff. And I'm asking because we've been obsessed with Steve Wallace, who is a Canadian camper. He does camping videos. He's been doing them for the last seven years. We've watched them all. We're pretty much, we're all the way back to, we're back to like seven and a half years ago, Steve. Yeah. And it's okay, but Steve got a lot better at his craft. He did. From seven and a half years ago to today. It's really, Steve really started being awesome about six years ago. Everything from six years ago to now, like, his audio and video quality is much improved. Yeah. The ones we're at now are old enough to where, like, the audio is not always good, which makes it tougher to watch. It's still good. It's still Steve. Yeah. And we love Steve. We love Steve. Yeah. So we need, like, we need some new content to watch. Yeah. And we tried the other night to find someone who does, like, auctions. because I went to our friend Kevin. Here's Kev's shout out of the episode. Our friend Kevin has an auction house service. I'm not sure exactly what the right word is, but here in Bloomington, here in town, and I went on this past Tuesday to go. Every Tuesday he's got an auction, so I went. And it was so fun. It's like so random and ridiculous. I came home with this gigantic mirror that cost $2. I don't even know why I bought it. I don't need it. I just got swept up in the moment. Anyways, I just want to watch more of that. Not fancy auctions. Yeah. No, not fancy auctions. No, not like the antique roadshow. Not that kind of stuff. But I just want everyday auction stuff. And I want to watch it on YouTube. Yeah. And I can't find it. That one guy we found is okay. I can't remember what he's called. He's from Wisconsin. Yeah, he was okay. We're watching his Christmas sale. Yeah, but he's not auctioning. He's not auctioning, no. He's just setting up tables. Yeah. Tables. Tables. Tables is the job. The job is tables. Yeah, I fell asleep, so maybe it got better. But I'm kind of curious, like what everybody's kind of got that like guilty pleasure on YouTube. Yeah. What's your YouTube thing that you can watch for a long time? Because we watch YouTube most every night in bed to fall asleep. Once Steph goes to sleep, I watch YouTube golf and that just puts me. I've watched so many YouTube golf matches and I've seen the first like third to half and I don't know who won any of them. And I don't really care. So I don't go back and finish to see who won. I was like, oh, he's playing pretty good. And I'm out. For the pinball stuff, I like watching the Triple Drain podcast. Yeah, I like them. I like those guys. I think it's entertaining. I like the, is it just called the pinball podcast or the pinball show with Zach and that other guy? From Kansas City? Yeah. Yeah, maybe. I should know his name. I don't. Those are long. It was like two and a half hours. Yeah, we like the long form YouTube content. I do. You don't ever make it through those. I'll make it through. Is it the pinball show? It might be. I think it's called the pinball show. What else? I do like for live streams, I like the flipping out stream. I like that. Joel and Jared. I like when Loser Kid does his update on the values of the games. One tip for Loser Kid, because I do like the Loser Kid show a lot. Most of his episodes are short unless they have an interview. But you could do longer ones without an interview. Yeah. But he does the market update, which is, I think those are intended to be like seven to ten minutes. Snippet. It's like a snippet. You see like what's up, what's down. I love that. And that's really cool. and it's good information to know like oh well like this machine was like up and now it's plummeted like if you want one that'd be a good time to buy so if you're in the market especially like thinking about buying pinball machines watch the loser kid podcast uh i would like it if if they did a little bit more where it's they're just kind of talking about stuff kind of like this because they do a lot of interviews and I like the interviews but the problem is when you do interviews you don't have control over the audio from the guest which is why I'm always hesitant to even ever try to do interviews here unless somebody comes over or we go to their house because I don't want to have our good mic quality and then a crappy phone voice for the guest And it's not the fault of like whatever show like Loser Kid or whoever has a guest or, you know, Cary Hardy had George Gomez on. George's audio was pretty wonky. That's not Cary Hardy's fault. Yeah. Like George had a crappy microphone. Yeah. You know, so it's like a variable that you can't control. So I would like some like 30 to 45 minute episodes of Loser Kid like without a guest. Okay. Where they just like shoot the shit. That's your 2026 wish for? Yeah. Okay. Yeah. Because I like watching him. He talks. He's got a nice voice. He knows a lot about pinball. Yeah, he seems nice. Good pinball player. So yeah, longer loser kids. Yeah. And more frequently. Well, he's probably busy. He's probably busy. But you know, do some more. We'll watch it. We're here for you. Yeah. I feel like the Triple Drain they could do it more often too I know they're all busy as well Yeah But I find that one to be enjoyable I do too Yeah that's my 2026 wish Longer loser kids I love it And then I wish for you to send me Some other stuff that you like to watch Could be something weird Like Steve Wallace that's a weird channel very popular though huge yeah there's got to be more that like what are some of these like real niche hobbies the camping stuff's good and i've tried other camping people but there's just only one steve i know if you know if you know steve wallace and you know somebody that's like as chill as steve send them our way because we need a new there is only one steve i think Yeah, I think so. Yeah. Got anything else? No, we're just back in the routine this week. I guess it's been 42 minutes. This one might be kind of a rambly episode, but it's fine. Sorry, Kev. Sorry, Kevin. Kevin told me that we're getting better. We're getting better? Well, we'll see how he feels after this one. Oh, my gosh. We'll see how he feels after this one. because the latest handful have had a real decisive topic. Like we're going to do the top five this or the top five that. We can do more of those. I want to do the top five like locations we've been to. I think that would be a good one. And I had another thing in my head and I forgot and I should write this stuff down. But I want to do like some of the best pinball locations we've been to. I want to talk about those. That's cool. On an upcoming episode. and somebody commented last one requested that we do an episode about like starting and operating like a pinball collective and we can do that but i feel like i'm not sure if we know what we're doing yet we don't we don't really know what we're doing yet we're just doing it just kind of going along as we go yeah we are but we can tell you what we've done and how we got to this point yeah I think I want to do a little prep work for that. Okay. Make some notes and not just wing it. Okay. Fair. So that will be coming, but we just have to prepare for it. And that's all I have for the week. We'll probably do another one middle of the week if Pokemon comes out. When Pokemon comes out. When Pokemon comes out. I hope it's not Transformers. That'd be it. It's not my jam. I will want that game eventually, but not right away. That'll be a used one, and I'll get that one once I'm tired of John Wick. Is it potentially the same guy? Yeah. Okay. So that seems like... I can feel the day of being over John Wick. I can feel that coming. And if Transformers comes out in the summer, that would probably line up. Pokemon's going to have those cool lights. Like the expression lights? Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Okay. We can wrap it up. I do want to get the expression lights for this Zeppelin, though. Yeah, Mike's going to come help put them in. Okay. So we'll get them. Okay, cool. That's all I got. That's all I've got, too. we may see you in a couple days if Pokemon comes out so thank you for watching thanks for being in the Facebook group if you're not in the Facebook group get in there subscribe and do all that stuff or join the Discord join the Discord I usually put a link to it the Discord links like expire or something I don't know I don't know Discord it makes me feel old well just send a note if you want the Discord link yeah we'll get a fresh one we don't know what we're doing We don't know what we're doing on Discord. It's fine. We're learning. Yeah. Okay. Toodaloo. Bye.
