### Sentiment

**Neutral** (0.5) — Broadcast is professionally neutral and analytical. Commentators express frustration with game difficulty and mechanical wear, some annoyance at tournament scheduling. Otherwise objective commentary on play. Enthusiastic about specific games like Tron's sound design.

### Signals

- **[content_signal]** Frederick Richardson is rookie broadcast operator; self-describes producing content with limited prior experience; North Las Vegas airport noise interference noted during recording. (confidence: high) — Richardson: 'Considering I was a rookie and didn't know what the hell I was doing, I thought I did a good job'; hosts note overhead airport flights landing two blocks away
- **[community_signal]** Broadcast includes real-time chat interaction, spectator engagement, subscription acknowledgments, and detailed rules explanation for remote viewers. Production quality suggests professional tournament coverage. (confidence: high) — Hosts acknowledge Frisbees and Kimbo Howard subscriptions; explain rules mechanics for home audience; accommodate late joiners with player introductions
- **[sentiment_shift]** Tournament scheduling tension: Frederick Richardson expresses frustration that tournament start times and scheduling are influenced by Zach Sharpe's travel plans, indicating organizational/interpersonal friction in the competitive community. (confidence: medium) — Richardson: 'I am tired of going to tournaments where it matters what the Shark's travel plans are. I done this for the last six years'
- **[competitive_signal]** Game of Thrones tiebreaker reveals multiple competing strategies: wall completion focus (Robert), mode stacking with Greyjoy/Martel combinations (Kaylee/Jason), wall multiball sequences. Inconsistent playfield conditions (worn return lane rubber) affecting shot execution and strategy variance. (confidence: high) — Detailed play-by-play showing Robert's wall strategy vs. others' mode focus; commentators noting inconsistent return lane rubber affecting ball routing
- **[competitive_signal]** Game of Thrones set up with pre-qualified House Stark and one lit sword on right ramp, creating house advantage baseline for all players. This suggests tournament setup standardization for fairness in playoffs. (confidence: high) — Colin McAlpine explains House Stark is 'already qualified and finished' and 'one sword lit on the right ramp' as standard setup
- **[design_philosophy]** X-Men settings allow continuous hero stacking during multiball modes, enabling multiple strategy paths. This is noted as a 'neat' feature that changes strategic decision-making compared to sequential-only approaches. (confidence: medium) — Host explains 'you can actually stack your heroes. You can collect them throughout continuously while you're in one, which is kind of neat' on X-Men
- **[event_signal]** 2019 IFPA Pin-Masters playoff tiebreaker occurring; B-division concurrent matches on Tron in background; multiple tiebreaker iterations needed (4-player tiebreaker for 3 spots leading to 2-player X-Men tiebreaker). (confidence: high) — Event organized at Grand Line The Games in Las Vegas; hosts reference B-division in background; multiple tiebreaker progression explained
- **[gameplay_signal]** Game of Thrones is extraordinarily difficult in this tournament setting; no player achieved target score (150) after three balls; all scoring under 100. Feast-or-famine gameplay noted (most hole-in-ones but highest stroke average). (confidence: high) — 150 is the target score and 'as you can see no one over 100 after three balls'; Josh reported 5.3 average strokes; Game of Thrones had most hole-in-ones but hardest hole
- **[personnel_signal]** Zach Sharpe identified as tournament director/coordinator making scheduling decisions and coaching players during matches. Mentioned coaching Robert Gando during play. (confidence: high) — Frederick Richardson complains 'I'm tired of going to tournaments where it matters what the Shark's travel plans are'; Colin notes 'Zach Sharpe's pulling him' during Robert's match
- **[product_concern]** Game of Thrones at this tournament location exhibits mechanical wear issue: return lane rubber worn, ball sometimes feeds to flipper, sometimes to sling, creating inconsistent outcomes. Commentators note this is affecting gameplay quality and tournament play. (confidence: high) — Colin McAlpine: 'So when the ball comes down this return lane, it likes to hit it. It was originally designed to go right into the sling, but it has worn out and now comes down a lot to the flipper just like that most of the time, yeah, it's inconsistent'
- **[competitive_signal]** Pin golf scoring model used at IFPA Pin-Masters with stroke-based scoring rather than raw pinball score. Target scores set per game (12-15 million for most machines). Tiebreakers employ golf rules (player with lowest score plays first in subsequent matches). (confidence: high) — Hosts reference 'hole-in-ones,' 'strokes,' 'target score,' and golf-based tiebreaker progression; Kaylee advances as player one despite Jason also scoring 8 strokes due to golf rules precedence

## Transcript

Oh for half a second. And then let's transfer it into another double Elway into a double catapult super. What are we witnessing here? Let's flip all of this. Oh, great, got it. Clark. Is it Clark? Clark got it first. Oh, what? What? What just happened? Welcome everyone to the final day of the IFBA Pinmasters here in Las Vegas, Nevada at Grand Line Games. Hosted by the Flipper Spiel Underground Arcade Club. We are watching a tiebreaker match. This is a four-way tiebreaker for three spaces. Correct. And we have Jason Wardrick, player one, Robert Gando, player two. Dave from Seattle. Dave Anderson or something Johnston Thank you And who's the fourth? Kaylee George Kaylee George, alright Also from Seattle In the booth Leading the way, you got Carl D'Python Anghelo Myself, Frederick Funky Fresh, Richardson And to my left, Colin MacAlpine Welcome everyone Good morning See now this is what I wish he would have done I wish he would have taken Greyjoy into the wall Into that of course Look he came out of the wall at 34 Ouch so Robert employed a unique strategy to get points he left orbit all day until he got his wall pieces and did a wall multi-wall however he did not bring a mode into wall with him had he done that and finished Greyjoy and possibly had his swords lit it would be a different story interesting oh that was his ball three don't tilt that that's decent There you go. Oh yeah. Take a little 22. The goal is 400? 150. That's really low. But this is a tough playing Game of Thrones. Because of that right there. We got a fun little giant yellow rubber located right here. So when the ball comes down this return lane, it likes to hit it. It was originally designed to go right into the sling. but it has worn out and now comes down to a lot of flipper just like that most of the time yeah it's inconsistent so sometimes it'll it will not help you out all right so dave's going to gray joy strategy which in casual mode which all players must play here you have gray joy qualified immediately and i did that exact same thing twice yesterday and that hurts. Yeah. So what Colin was saying there, the game is set up that you, House Zac Stark is your house. It's already qualified and finished, and then you have Greyjoy ready to go. As well as one sword lit on the right ramp. Correct. Essentially because it spotted you, Zac Stark. And that's the first thing that I shoot before going into Greyjoy. Yeah, because you want your additional multiplier ability. Correct. You do not have the chance to pass on mode. When you go in, it will either start automatically if there's one lit, or it will give you choices if there's more than one. But I don't believe pass is there either when you have two of them there, I think. Maybe it is, actually. You might be able to pass. You can't pass. At all. Okay. You have to select something. You have a choice if you get two houses. Right. One or both, but you can't pass. Okay. You cannot pass. So interesting. Somebody was looking at the scoreboard, and David apparently got a hole-in-one on both rounds yesterday, but did not today, obviously. That's pinball or pin golf for you. I'm sure he was happy when this game was chosen. Yeah, definitely. Two hole-in-ones. I only got one hole-in-one all weekend. All right, Kaylee now hitting combos here for a good Winterfell Greyjoy value. It's counting down quickly, and he was already on two dangers, so that's why he only gave it a small nudge there. Yeah. Small little bonus. Yeah, so that would have been worthwhile. I mean, at that point in the game, with that little bit of bonus, I probably would have gone for a bigger nudge and just risked it. This game's strange, though, because you don't know how much bonus you have. I mean, this is, for me, a really hard game to keep track of. Well, it also depends vastly between the Pro and the Premium LE. You can have some massive carryover bonus if you destroy castles in the Premium LE version, whereas the pro is pretty much, I mean, on ball one without a whole lot of play time, you're not going to have a lot of bonus. All right, Jason's back up. He was making his way towards Martel when we last saw him. Let's see if he hits that last no. He's going to go, he's maybe going to adopt what Robert was doing and go for a wall now. Is he pivoting? Pass it over and do Martel. He is pivoting. He's going for a wall now. I'm kind of shocked because I think the Martell way is the best strategy. It can fail you like it did me yesterday. The problem is if you don't make the third and fourth shots of Martell, you get nothing. That is correct. And I got nothing. That's tough. He's fine. Don't panic. Just catch. There we go. Thank you, game. Gave him another chance at this. I give him almost 10 mil on his winter's coming hurry-up shot. And that was only one X. So if he would have done ramp into that, that would have been even bigger. You get the benefit of Winter's Coming values are higher with House Zac Stark. And so in casual mode, you will have higher Winter's Coming values. It's not gone for a sword, just the right ramp, Zac Stark ramp. Okay, yeah, he has decided to pivot and do a little copycat, which we all do in pinball. If we see something we like that somebody else did, give it a shot. So he is going to backhand this left orbit and go for more wall, I'm guessing. Three shots. He'll start a multiball. Oh, no. Okay. Okay. Never mind. Well, although it could be this. What could be nice is if he gets Martell's ready, go ahead and start your wall and bring both those modes with you into wall multiball. And you should be done. Oh, no. Oh, no, no, no, no. A little early in the morning. Needs his coffee. anyway up to mic game do we need to talk louder should we talk louder carl i'm trying to keep it quiet because we're trying to keep it quiet right now it's a the room is quiet so we don't you are historically quiet calling on the microphone you're all right calm and even and um it's too early for me to get rowdy i was up at 5 45 5 45 crazy why are you doing that i had to run someone to the airport oh that was nice of you Yes. Yeah. There we go. Let that bounce over. Let's see if Robert goes back to the wall. Nope. Going up top. Starts Greyjoy. Oh, he's gone. That's gone. Oh, nice. Well, that's gone. Yeah, that's gone. But no, that was lock three. So if he would have hit that center ramp, he would have started his Blackwater. With Greyjoy. Yep. Which is what you want. Remnants of Greyjoy. I think he'd already collected a few shots of Greyjoy. But still. And that's a, you know, and the other thing about this is it's different. and a lot of people will count on their three lock shots also being your three Lannister qualification shots. That is often not the case here because your first one, you automatically start the Greyjoy mode or whatever else you had qualified. And so then you're shooting that center shot during your mode, and you're not getting any credit for Lannister. Great. All right, Dave, start by going for Martel. Let's see if he goes up to left orbit this time. Nope, up center. Let's start Greyjoy. Here we go. He needs just one more shot to get his Lannister going. Oh, little lock and drained. Wow. How did he get that back? What? What happened? There is no ball timer on this game. I wasn't watching. Did it go out that lane? Was there a Lord of Light? Must have been a Lord of Light. Had to have been. Yeah, had to have been. Yep. Thank you, folks. catching that. And he unfortunately gets Widow's Will for his random sword. Worth nothing. He hit the drops on the way out. That's interesting. Okay, well, he's got two modes now. Lannister and Crayjoy he can take. One ball is locked. Take them both. Take them both. There you go. What? because he only needs one shot to finish it. It doesn't matter. You still finish it. There's no benefit to not. That does not look good. Right? There's no reduced scoring because he takes two bones. Nope. Unless he wanted to do something after he was done with Greyjoy so he didn't have to wait for Lannister to finish. I'm not sure what the thinking was there. agreed on multipliers Asherstead. Surprise not to see you here this weekend, Adam. Missed you. Carl Weathers was good. I'm sure you were busy. Waiting on player four here. This is going to be Kaylee George stepping up after ball one with $9.4 million. Frisbees, thanks for the subscription as well as someone else. Oh, wow. Nice save. Kimbo Howard, both of you, thank you. Very much appreciate the subs. You can hit that center ramp from the left flipper. One more to light Martell. Let's see if he passed it over. Nope. Start great, Joy. It's what he employed yesterday, so I'm not surprised. Looks like he had already collected his sword. I must have missed it. Not enough. Missed that yellow. Fugly. Double fugly. This could not get control. I really expected some holes and ones on this game. I did. I'm very surprised. Yeah. Well, the stats last night towards the end of the evening, I asked Josh, I said, well, it's the hardest hole. And he said averaging at 5.3 strokes was Game of Thrones. Wow. That was Star Wars. However, that's what I said, too. However, game with most hole-in-wines? Game of Thrones. One-trick pony, right? Feast or famine on that game. Okay, that's a good point. Good question. What is the thought of a setting to not stack modes on Star Wars for tournament versus, eh? You know, a lot of people, Star Wars employed different strategy at this event. I myself am an R2 long play guy and ended up taking Han. Oh, my. Yikes. And that's where you short plunge. Yeah. That's why you short plunge. That's why you short plunge. He did it because he's going for wall now. Oh, right. Yes, yes. You really need to short plunge. See, I go up top. I don't care. I just want... Really? Because I can tell by the time it hits that rail where... Yeah, but sometimes it just barely skipped this, which is why... Yeah. It comes with too much speed or it comes with too less of speed Well it kind of bouncing around against that wall when it comes out of the pop right exactly so it can kind of little inconsistent jump over sure all right let see what robert does here i really interested to see because he robert doing a whole different strategy than everybody else is he's on his third blackwater lock i believe so this is correct he's gonna go straight into blackwater i should be able to get Lannister too. I'm pretty sure. I think so. Yeah. Plus he did a lock while he was in a mode. There we go. Jeez. Center and nope. Did not get Lannister. One more needed. Okay, Crayjoy with Blackwater. Only one. Multiball. He does have 60 in the bank so he probably only needed to take one anyway. He completes this. It's going straight for his Lord of the Light, it looked like. Yeah. Might as well. I mean, look how short these ball timers are. Yeah, it's gone. So anything from now on is a... It's gone. Yep, that one's gone. There's one. Oh, yeah. All right. Under control. So we are currently watching a tiebreaker. There are four players for three. Three for four. Up the center, right ramp. Oh, hit your drop target, Robert. So now here he uses a little light. He must have. There he goes. Oh, he got another one. He got another one. And right down. Oh, my gosh. Okay, center ramp here, Robert. Center ramp. Okay, he's going to wait. Oh, no. Look at that feed. Yeah, it's just so inconsistent. Does that change your mind now? Yes, it's just so inconsistent. Does that change your mind, the short plunge? I'll tell you what, man. No. Still going up top. and I will probably yell when that happens you can't get the wall again because that orbit is not going to feed the pops correct there you go stack them up there you go ok you just got to hit your shots now got three shots for Greyjoy those will be worth some points oh that was a little that was a little fumble I think he had it on the left tip if he would have timed it properly again some of you are in the afternoon already we're just after 9am sorry just writing on things take that away from them randomly doodling on Carl's professional notes it's not even that it's coming through on the mic alright Dave's got two modes here last time he went with just Greyjoy. Is he doing it again? Interesting. He's leaving you all guessing. He's got one shot. The problem is now if he goes up the center, his lock is going to start black water with only one. Oh, no. Yeah, that's a good call. I don't know about that. Ah, good call there. Yeah. All right. Well, he got Greyjoy. There you go. Unfortunately, combos are only at 2x, so it's not going to be a big value. No. All right, ball saves are done. Three more shots. One ball gone. Oh, he's going to get that. Nope, he's not getting that back. That is the animation. That is not an actual ball save. That's dirty. It is. That's so dirty. Okay, up the center. Yep. Right orbit. There he goes. Very nice. Bash or supers? Bash. Bash. Oh, get it. Oh, no, no, no, no. One more. One more. No, he's not going to get it. Yeah. So do you hit it right there? Because I know I sure do. Oh, yeah. Get that last little one. You try. Yeah, disappointing. You know what? Those choices, Dave, are going to cost you. Yeah, because he cracked a lot of shots, or he would have had a lot of Lannister points, or if he would have. Go for Martell. Oh, yeah. Oh, I did. I did, yes. I did yesterday, and it got me in. Three people will get in out of four. answer to that in the chat. Yes, late joiners. Tiebreaker going on right now. Jason Werdrick, Kaylee George, Robert Cagno, and Dave Thompson, was it? From Seattle. I apologize for not knowing Dave's last name. I don't think it's Thompson. No, it's not. I'll get him. Okay. Kaylee's got... Dave Johnson. Dave Johnson. Oh, you're close. Okay. Kaylee's got two modes. All he has to do is hit that center rail. There we go. He's got three. What's he going to pick? He's going to pick Martell and Greyjoy? Martell, yeah. Or Martell and Glanster. Makes sense. Yeah. I like this choice. Oh, yeah. Martell's two C points. As long as you can keep your combos running. Yep. There you go. There's the one. Letterbond's over. There you go. And let's go for another one. Backhand. Very nice. One more. Multiply that. That's okay. That's okay. Just give me left orbit. Yeah, you don't need to buy these shots. And center. Oh, jeez. I did not collect. Did not collect. Remember to hit this button for our Iron Bank, which I haven't done all weekend. Unfortunately, not a lot of points. Anyone's game is still here. It is. So those of you at home watching the strokes that we're getting down these holes and going, oh, why are these guys shooting a seven on Game of Thrones? Yeah. There you go. 150 is the target score and as you can see no one over 100 after three balls it's it's just yeah i'm shocked to tell you the truth it's so tough i mean you're just not getting good breaks throughout okay jason's stepping up he changed his uh his strategy he originally uh started with modes and then switched over to wall I believe he only needs one more wall segment in order to qualify that multiball Okay, not enough catch There you go. Get up there All right, one more shot should call. There you go. Oh Just let her go. There you go there One more that should this it's lit. Okay and start your modes first J which he will. Bounce over. There you go. Up the center ramp. Smart. Now this is a difference that they didn't do. That's right. And now he's got a chance for the dragon. So, Greg Joy and Martel. Take them both. Yeah. Don't make us. Guess what you're going to do, Jason. And get the simple dragon shot. No problem. and if he does he should be done he should be oh he's just missed oh one nice there it is right here yep it's a lot easier off the ramp i tell you i agree that's how i say you know yep the combo now great joy finishes quickly but still going so that's good he needs to hit either of his orbits or that right ramp looks like possibly he has a golden opportunity right here so that light went out i'm surprised he even got that ball back boy wow okay one you're fine oh no all right let's just work on my tail left left yep slow it down wow wow hmm that's not gonna do it no i'm telling you i don't know about that wall that multiball just blah yeah we didn't see the sword five shot martel in this did we did anybody try it because that's that's Not in this match, but previously. Yeah. Looks like Robert's going to try and light Martel. It really is a good, juicy mode. Yep. And the funny thing is most of us don't really do that one often. I mean, because you go to Hand of the King without Martel. Yeah. Or you pick it as your starting house, and you still don't choose it and finish it until after Hand of the King. so catch it on the right there you go it is at two modes he's trying to start martel yeah yeah the patch where it gets real ugly it's when it when the gates open it comes around real fast that look tells you everything now strokes could come into play here like it really could the score could come into play wow right now they're all pretty close to each other though yeah 60 60 is cut off for eight strokes to impact get to 120 and i would never thought we'd be in this position right now yeah looks like dave's gonna try and light martel Was this game selected as a random? Correct. Yes. Okay. Yeah, it was a random pick how GOT got selected. Dude, these outlanes. These outlanes are so brutal, man. So if they all get the same stroke, we will have another tiebreaker game. Yes, another four-player tiebreaker. Well, remember, we have to get three people. So even if one person goes through, we're still doing another tiebreaker. Yes. Yay, home audience. I'll give you a lot of pregame. Boom. All right, Kelly, just go up there and start your two modes. Oh, he's got a swordlet, though. I want to grab that first. I think he's going for a wall now. Oh, please. Wow, eh? Robert, what did you do to everybody? Yeah, I think he did. I think he started this Disney. Jeez. Well, he only needs seven more shots. Oh, whoops. Now you've got a winter's coming. Good luck with strobe multiball, single ball. thankfully and look at this that feed is not perfect no and inconsistent oh no slow it down Kelly and there you go alright two more segments five shots bounce over yeah see he keeps trying to live catch that yeah that's probably a smart move you can get it on the left flipper sure instead of bouncing over to the right and then having yeah the drop catch works see that's how I do it but it's changing then you gotta do that and if you miss yeah your dream your brick drain yeah look at that kympa search modes oh no oh no yeah it's hot almost backhanded his dragon shot too oh my god all right here we go final ball no one made it in four right now we're sitting at let's see everybody's over the 60s so yeah they're all at eight and one person's at seven yeah exactly wow yeah so yeah if we have two people at the same on the bottom we'd have a two-player tiebreaker yes yes atar at this point we may be looking at another type we're probably looking at a tiebreaker for Sure, yeah. No, no, anything's possible here. Come on, come on. I know Zach doesn't want another tiebreaker. He sure doesn't. I can tell you that. A fight to catch. I am tired of going to tournaments where it matters what the Sharks' travel plans are. I done this for the last six years I assume that why we starting at nine instead of ten Yeah no kidding But it not going to matter if we go through 5 tiebreakers I know Still not starting until after 10 Jay, take your sword. Take your sword, buddy. Take your sword first. No, they're not going for it. He's got a good stack here. It's just a matter of executing it. Left orbit. Looks like he only needs left orbit and right ramp. Yeah, that's right. It might be worthwhile doing that as well, too. Stop, catch. I didn't find it too difficult to stop that ball coming off the habit trail on the right. I mean, as it comes down here, I was able to cradle it up most of the time. Yeah, for sure. So I don't have to take that shot on the fly. Oh, wow. Wow. All right, so Jason ends at, what's he end at? Eight. An eight? Yep. I think the pressure of the tiebreaker is well, too. You know, this is... Top notch. Yeah. Just put a J right there. I'm mouse drawing it should be Derek with the finger over there. Yeah. There it is. Perfect. Yeah, Robert is through for sure now. Yep. Yep, by Jason not getting to seven. I don't want to play this. through. Through. Good to go. So we're still playing because we have three people. Yeah, exactly. Yes. So right now it's going to be players three and four. They can move on and leave Jason dust. Yeah, you're through, Robert. You probably don't have to play, but it's up to you. Yeah, Robert shouldn't play at all. Exactly. Zach's pulling him. Zach is probably saying, hey, dude. Yeah. There are sharps up there coaching him right now to go ahead and have a play. All right. Robert advances. So what's the score threshold we need to pass? 120? No, 90. 90. 90 is what he's looking for. Oh, this should be gone. Yeah, 2 million on Game of Thrones. Oh, my gosh. How did he not train there? Why didn't he hit the skill shot? I mean, that's all he needed. Yes, that's all he needed. Yes. Reminds me of college. A lot of poor choices. Yes. That should do it. Okay, watch how I was lit. Oh, it's not. There we go. This should be it right here. He's got the multiplier, so he should have it in bonus now. Yeah. You want to risk that? There we go. There it is. He's done. He is in there. Okay. So we now have... Haley needs 10 million points. And 10 million can be a grind on this game, unless you've got something going. You'd almost rather need 100. Yes. Wow. Yeah, Frisbee, there's no player cards right here because it's a tiebreaker. I don't have anything set up for that. Once finals start, then there will be player cards. Yes. Here, I can put that in for you. No, no, no, that's all right. Yeah, I are. All right, Kaylee checking his bonus. Yeah. only 10 million is all he needs here. 90 million thresholds. Are you going for the Dragon Shot? Because I know I'm not. No, I'm not. I'm going for Mode Start, baby. No, I'm going for my random sword. That could be Oathkeeper. Oh, no. Oh, my gosh. My God. So we have another 10 million. We have another game. See, and this is where I think the short plunge, you know, is a lot safer on there. He went for the full plunge. Yes, the short plunge. Again. Wow. Again, Fred. No. We've got another game. No short plunge? You full plunge? Same. Same. Same. That means there's actually good awards from the pop-up. All right. I got to change the, change the. Oh. Oh, the ears. I'm sorry, everyone. What? What? Carl threw his headset across the room. Oh, my God. Too early in the morning for that. Yeah. there's our room and looks like we're going to x-men yes another grind right on the only game i got a hole in one did you really i love that game oh man i played it well off weekend at nationals i got 47 mil on my first ball jeez finished with a 69 i actually just started learned playing it last weekend in Texas. Yeah. It's not a bad game. A lot of shots. There's a ton of shots. It's almost when you hit the ball, you're going to hit something. Okay, it looks like Kaylee is up first. Just practice time. Correct. Yep. Yeah. Kaylee would go first because we would follow golf rules. Kaylee was ahead of Jason. They tied. So he will be player one. And in this format, that doesn't matter when you play. That is not a Chinese symbol. Does it look like a J? Okay. We don't need it for two players. Inmates are no longer running the asylum today. That was yesterday's session. Oh, I know. I stayed far away from it. I'm looking forward to watching that in five hours, you know, at some point while I was gone. Very curious what happened here with my cameras. I thought I did a bang-up job, you know, to tell you the truth. I'll bet you did. Considering I was a rookie and didn't know what the hell I was doing, I thought I did a pretty good job. Jason is the skinny white guy with the hat on. Kaylee is the skinny white guy with the hat on backwards. So that will identify them for you. This is Jason doing a little warm-up. Interesting about this game, with the settings, you can actually stack your heroes. You can collect them throughout continuously while you're in one, which is kind of neat. It's nice, yeah. And changes your strategy. So if you're one of these guys right now, what are you going to do on here? What is your strategy going into this? Well, you've got a couple things you can do. You can either go on these side targets for the Hellfire and the Brotherhood. Collect those. I think they're about five hits each to qualify. Something like that. Something close to that. Some people like that. And once you light them, you can go into your villain shot, and you can continuously pick villains without starting that multiball if you want, which is kind of nifty. Or you can go ahead and start one of the two multiballs. Most people choose Brotherhood. Personally, I just like to stack heroes, man. I just like to hit the shots. I'm accidentally lighting lock. Next thing I know, I've got four of my heroes done, and I'm starting Magneto Multiball. Oh, interesting. Okay. And I went into that pretty hard. Came out just under my score. My villains were lit. Went into villains, started Sentinels, and started Wolverine, Waltheball, and that was it. Interesting. Yeah, just hit all the shots. I mean... I was focusing on the villain and Wolverine stack. See, that's the problem. If you focus too much on this game, you go for it and you miss. Yeah. If you're just hitting any shot, I mean, and you're getting heroes, like, you know, there are two shots to start, so... Right on. You can get them going. But to me, the Wolverine villain stack is a one-time thing at the very beginning of the game. Sure. So you can start off with that. Sure. And if you get it, you get it. If you don't, after that, then you're going to start shooting everything else. And to qualify your villain, it's sets of rollovers, isn't it? Yes, it is. Rolls or the scoops. It's two completions. Yep. So six scoop shots or a combination of any six rollovers. Doesn't one set light your Blackbird mystery, though? Yes. So you're wasting a mystery. You do. He's got a good opportunity if he gets Wolverine, you know. Or if he goes, oh, he's already had Brotherhood going. Wow. Okay. So, red shots. Collect a good chunk of points. Now, because he hadn't collected any yet, they'll be at their minimum value. Yeah, only 325. Interesting. Yeah, I mean, you know, there's a few games here where you can go right into a multiball. Star Wars, I like that, too. Pick Han. go do your video mode, you're ready to do a multiball. But, you know, you're doing that first multiball with nothing built up. Yeah, there's nothing here right now. I came out of there at like 70 mil, and it's like, eh. I don't know if that is the right move to villain Wolverine stack, but we'll see. This, of course, is Brotherhood. And that was not the Blackbird we just heard. No. No, that was the North Las Vegas airport, which flies right overhead and lands literally two blocks away. All right, so he's done. He's got the edible. He's got the edible and ball saves. Very nice. Again, notice how that one will not come back, more than likely. Yeah. These guys shorten down the ball saves as low as they would go on almost every game. Rightfully so. Yeah, I think so. It's the way to go. You're going to harden up a game. So he does Brotherhood and comes out with 6.7 million. Target goal on here is 12 or 15. Here, pull it up here. Sorry. No worries. There it is. 15. It is 15. Most of them are 15. The only one that's 12 is Tron. Yes. Of the Stern series. Okay, now Kaylee's going for some modes. Save here. Which is a good one. Villains lit. Oh, man. all right yeah at that point first of all yeah almost halfway to his goal see what Jason employees here we have the B division starting up four players so they're all top four in our hearts they are playing Tron in case you hear that in the background I don't know how they couldn't. That game is so loud. Yeah, it is, yeah. It feels louder today. It does. It does. Yeah, it sounds noisy here. It could be because there's, yeah. Nothing else is on, yeah. Yeah, true. But if there's one game I like hearing, Tron is the one. Oh, yeah. One of the best soundtracks ever. All right, so what do you think Jason's going to do? I think he's going to, well, I don't want to guess because I'd give him advice and do something different. So we'll see. Short plunge ramp, I think, for sure. Of course. And then get your lock. Boom. Rogue. Oh, boy. That's okay. That was a very early miss there. It was, yeah. If he just starts wailing on his Wolverine. It is a mean Wolverine, though, that magnet. It is. It is nasty. Heavy. Yep. Was it Wolverine or was it Magneto he was going for? Wolverine. No, it was Wolverine. That was Wolverine. Yeah. Okay. I wasn't sure if he was actually going for that or not. That's gone. Yeah. Oh, my goodness. How can that be gone? It's dead center on that thing rattles limps over Jay needs to find his happy place Meanwhile Kayla gonna step up I guessing he gonna drop it in that villain A lot of us choose Sentinels just because every shot is lit Let's see what he chooses. Goes for the Rogue skill shot for sick luck. He's got two. He's got his third one lit. Four is a guaranteed multiball. It is. It's a good one, that one. sure is you're almost guaranteed your target if you can hit that one yeah interesting looks like he's setting up yep just Wolverine he didn't take his villain yeah I'm very surprised yeah missed the opportunity very surprised so we also have a novice division tiebreaker going on that's the Tron game oh it's a tiebreaker yes got it yeah I was trying to find out can't tell who it is though Yes, all games are five balls in order to play the full pin goal format. Oh, no, it's not a tiebreaker, excuse me. The most you can get on any hole is ten strokes, based on the percentage of the score you achieved while going after the goal. All right, so Kaylee's going to have to pick and shoot. He's only four million away here, so he's getting close. shooting some red shots I think here that's what he's looking for only 250 though ouch it's a grind but you know he can get there more completion oh boy yeah well now you're kind of in jail right it's yep oh he does have a villain lit so Sentinels? Yeah, I had a feeling. I wish you would have done that before. Oh, no. That is frustrating. Wow. Why am I getting that mouse thing? Well, the door's open. For sure. Yeah, I mean... $15 million on one ball is not out of the realm at all. No, not at all. It can be done. I thought Kaylee was going to hit that ball, and Jay would have to get all his points here. If he does hit 15, Jay will win in advance. If he does not, that would play another ball. He'll have a second life, yeah. All right, let's see what he's thinking. Oh, just missing that shot. Uh-oh. Why does he have two balls out there? What did I miss? What two balls? There's one in the scoop right now, and he just started hellfire. What is going on? Is there a ball in the scoop? There's not a ball in the scoop. There's not? No. What are you talking about? Do you get enough sleep? No, no, no. Are you seeing things? Trails, bro. Trails. Alright, what's he thinking here? Wolverine? Light your villain? Yeah, I think he hit the scoop here. He could not backhand it very easily either. No. There's a cliffy on that scoop and it's mean. It's like he was maybe trying to start Brotherhood. Yeah. Two more to qualify it. That's a dangerous shot, too. Yes. One more to qualify it. Okay, so getting close to the villain. Yep. And does it go? No. It hasn't been falling in there, either. No. Of course it doesn't. Clippy. That one's trouble, yep. Bounce. Good save, though. Get it under control. Brotherhood. One more shot there, buddy. Jason letting it settle down a little bit after his heavy shove. There you go. Good backhand. Now he's got the villain lit, right? So he's got a great opportunity here. You light that villain. You go ahead and. But he wants to hit. No. That's not what you wanted to do. No? What do you want to do? Well, one more shot. I was going to sentles. One more shot. No, I wasn't poking. I'm just pointing because nobody. No, one more shot on. Brotherhood. Brotherhood. Yeah, but he's got a stack ready to go here. There you go. Yep. Go ahead and take the Wolverine. Take the Wolverine now, and you got the stack. You only need 15. Sure. Anybody want to bet me? He keeps missing it, though. Vegas. That's the MyBookie sponsorship comes up. Mark Zuckerberg, stop listening to us. There we go. He's got his Wolverine. There. Now he's in good shape. He's got a stack going. And he just relit his Blackbird. Yeah. So he's got his Attaball. There's an Attaball. soon in my opinion but that's fine that's fine just make shots yeah just all right that one's coming back yeah and now they won't yeah let's hit lots of red shots now all right already up to 5.4 he should have gotten one ball back okay that's fine though that's why you don't like to hit your blackbird right away right exactly but Tiz, what did Tiz? He went for Beast that left orbit. Oh, why did he... I'm surprised he let go of his cradle. Jason struggling here to get some of those. There we go. There's one. Side ramp. Oh, wow. So early. Oh, that was bad luck there. Yeah, it was. So those guys didn't bet me, but he came out with 8.9 though. I still like that strategy. A lot of win, though. Yeah, I like the way he did that. I just don't think he hit enough shots. I think he had a good opportunity with that stack that he had there. All right. You're right. Did not execute correctly. Kaylee stepping up needs about 2.8 million points. He's got a villain ready to go. Don't know how many locks he's got in Magneto because it is not enough. Not enough. No. Really? I think he's two. One, maybe. I would ignore Magneto to be honest yeah? myself well unless it's already unless I'm already lit has he already locked one ball? we'll see and he's got nice skill shot he's got two is it? starts rogue we'll find out three so he's close and four let's do her right up the middle oh my gosh that Magneto there you go there's your multiball this is it right here so it's done Here goes Magneto and all of his fury. This is huge right here. This is... Yeah, see, now he's getting 700. Oh, yeah. This multiball is the way to go if you can do it. I'm telling you. I agree. It's huge. Well, as long as you have some heroes. If you don't have any heroes, you're forgetting nothing. True. I mean, nothing. I saw something yesterday, you know, start Magneto with no heroes. Oh, okay. Kaylee walks away. What's the point of that? Yeah, I hear you. All right. So Jason has to do it on this ball or he's eliminated. Yes. And if he does do it, guess what we have again? Another tiebreaker. Chatroom wants another tiebreaker, so they're cheering Jason on here. Well, they also want to see Zach miss his flight, which I support that. Loki got to miss Jeff. Here we go. Jason Needs about 6 mil Alright What's he got going? He's got one more One more shot One more shot for Magneto For to light the lock Light the lock I just like to point to things Cause I know people at home Yeah cause they can all see you pointing You should have been sitting over here There we go There it is Oh it rejected It's common on this one Yeah Oh and that's it That's over Wow, that's brutal. Kaylee George will advance. That's tough. All right. All right, kids. We're going to be getting the round going here. Yeah, all right. Josh is going to build the brackets. Hopefully it works. I'm going to go play. Yeah, good luck, man. Thanks. Derek, are you going to stand on the mic? I guess. I'm here, eh? I'm the only one not playing, so I guess you guys are all stuck with me, the crazy Canadian. D-Rock, bring it home. See anyone else you want to pull on? Feel free. Will do. Yeah. Are you going to take care of the movement? Yeah, I'll take care of the movement. Okay. Now that I'm a professional, a professional camera mover. Yes, Jason Weirdrick is out. All right. Groups are being set up right now. Oh, I've got to pick a game. I'm a high seat. Yes, Doug. Shout out to the Maritimes. We love the Maritimers out in Canada. So there's going to be a bit of chaos here for a little bit. We're just waiting for the brackets to be completed. And once they are, we will start the action. So practice time will ensue and then we will get on to our first game. So hang in there. We are at the 2019 IFPA Pin Masters here in beautiful Las Vegas. On the mic you have Derek Thompson. Unfortunately I was eliminated yesterday. Had a bad first round at a plus 11 and tried to fight my way back and unfortunately fell just a little bit short. So you're stuck with me this morning since there isn't too many other people around. But we'll try to get some other people on the mic as people get eliminated. So Stay tuned have fun. There's going to be Another six or seven hours worth of streaming today, so it should be a lot of fun Yeah, go figure should be fine and Colin and Brian no Brian's working, player 2's not who is player 2 that means Josh misspelled a name that's what it means player 2 is David Johnson, US so I'm going to remove the add US in the other one perfect looks like we're going to be starting on Attack from Mars so great pick love this game did very well on it all weekend so it should be a fun one watch on the very first what what people have really been employing on this game is really the Total Nuclear Annihilation and what what you really want to do on this game is hold on oh i need my mouse right now oh you need your mouse yeah oh my god i can't even give me a sec can't even give the tutorial just give me a moment patience well i was drawing lines until i got uh vetoed by uh carl there we go that works i'll have to get profile photos in a bit for them yeah no worries in fact i can probably steal columns right now let's see print screen so they're just testing out the machine here i'll try to find the tilt the tilt has been adjusted on this machine so it's not as bad as it was on the first day that's for sure
