Neither is Stargazer. The left flipper on Stargazer isn't working that well, and the audio still sort of cuts out, but that's a connector issue. Twilight Zone is having some flipper issues, and then there's some sort of feed problem that I don't like. And we can play Bram Stoker's Dracula. I didn't think about that. Yo, pinball works. So, Amuroku, if you want to beat somebody up, here's how you do it. This isn't the full explanation of the game, but this is how you put up a high score on this machine. You ready for this? This game has your typical stern skill shot with an added rollover bonus here. So when you first plunge your first ball, you want it to rollover these two flashing lights here, these are called rollovers, when they're both flashing. So, like right there, you want to roll over both of them when they're flashing, and then you want to go through the lane that's lit, which you can control. You get that full skill shot, man, that starts turning into millions on like ball two and ball three. It's out of control. Then your next bet is, if you're not really familiar with this game, this is tough. This work is tough because there's a bloodbath here, which, now that I'm familiar with the game, as a bunch of people are, you want to start getting progress towards Bloodbath, because that multiball, you can stack with another multiball. Oh, yeah, dude. How's life? Thanks, buddy. Yeah. What game is this? Yeah, this is The Walking Dead. So, leaving Bloodbath alone for right now, there's a couple things you can do. I like to go for multiball ASAP, like, just right out of the game. So when you plunge, you're going to want to start working the prison here. Now, depending on how they have their prison set, we have our doors stay closed. But the one you play on, the doors may open once you start the prison mode, and then it turns into a bash toy where you have to hit the head. If the head's unresponsive, what will happen is all these shots will light up with red arrows. Those, if you hit those shots, count as hitting the head on the prison. Okay, so you hit all those start that multiball and then just blow it up But you want to bring a mode into any multiball that you're playing So multi the way you get a mode in this game is by clearing all three of these targets these blood that targets So if you knock all three of them down Every shadow starts flashing far left orbit is barn left ramp is CDC in our left loop is riot Then you have tunnel here on the right loop and then arena for the right And as far as which one pays out the best, don't worry about that. Pick the one that you feel you can make the shot over and over again. So let's see what we got here, and I'll try to explain what's going on. So go through that. Look at that. Half a million. We go. Take off the walker, too. So what I'm going to want to do... Here, we'll do the approach where you just go straight for the prison here. Okay, so that starts the mode. So in the one you're playing, these doors are probably going to open, and it's going to be a bash toy. Try hitting it, if it doesn't register, try knocking out all these arrows, okay? Because that counts as progress towards prison mode. See how it's going? Now you'll Now you'll see how I hit riot there and 2x lit up. The way that works is, there's two... There's two targets outside of the prison here, there's two flashing targets. If you hit both of those and then shoot riot, that starts your 2x multiplier, and that's a plain field, man. That's 2x for no matter what you're hitting. Oh, crap. This is a dangerous shot, this right here. I'm not going to lie. I never really knew how much strategy goes into pinball, glad I found this channel. Oh, right on! Guess what the... Oh, dude, R-Pod, that's awesome, man. Alright, so again, once you've hit your first skillshot, the speed on the rollovers is faster now. So again, you want to make sure you rollover both of them when they're flashing, then go through the flashing ones. So this is probably going to be like a mil something if you can get the full skill shot. 1.5, which is good money if people don't know what the hell's going on. So I have three more shots before prison multiball is ready. But I don't know if you can see this blue flashing light here. That's Bicycle Girl. So what I like to do is when I see that Bicycle Girl is lit, I like to start a mode or light the modes and then pick the CDC mode Which is that ramp so that you're getting points for CDC and bicycle girl by just hitting that ramp over and over and over again So that mode doesn't start until you hit the ramp, but you got to hit it So we are Alright, here's the multiball. Now, you probably wanted to start a mode before I came into this, but that's okay. Now, you can try working down... Okay, so you can start a mode while you're in multiball. So, you see I picked CDP there, and now I'm just going to start going up that ramp because that's going to be both Bicycle Girl and PDC. We'll get 2x rolling here so that it's more money. If I can get my hands on the damn ball. Okay, I can't get my hands on the ball. 2x rolling. I just couldn't see it because I didn't get to see it. My schoolgirl is still rolling away. That's also something you're going to encounter. There is a physical thing with the walking dead that it loves to drain coming out of the pop bumpers here So hopefully there is a ball safe when you playing because you got to read this if there isn If that ball is coming super clean straight down this way, give it a little tap to push it off that wall, because that is a straight line SPTM. Straight down the middle. Alright, I screwed that up. But I still get a 0.2, which is pretty good. These modern games have a lot of strategy. They sure do. And they only get more and more complicated, too, which is awesome. Because when a friend comes out with a game, they're not done programming it until like a year or so after. Which is good. I mean, I dig it. They just keep adding more and more stuff. All right. So he's... Oh, was that ball three? Yeah. All right. You see how I have food and first aid locked solid? What that means is I hit one target and I locked it in on food and then I cleared the targets and what that did is it locked food completely in and then the light starts roving again. Then what I did is when it was on first aid I hit a target and it locks it there on first aid, then I wiped them all clean and that solidified first aid. So then it's still going around. All I had to do was get it on weapon, clear the targets again, then that would have made this light that says bloodbath turn on. All I had to do was hit it one more time, all three of those targets, that would have been bloodbath multiball. That multiball you can use and bring in another multiball in with it and the add a ball for bloodbath is just clearing the three targets again. You can do that twice I believe. Lama, what's up buddy? Anyway, so I hope that explained it. Also, if the prison is just straight up giving you any grief, Amoroku, Well Walker here is also a multiball, and this shot is really safe from the right flipper as a backhand shot. Typically any backhand shot is safer than making a shot across the field. So if you could trap up on the right and keep bashing up here, and you might bash up and it comes straight down, you might bash and it might come to the left flipper, beat the crap out of him. You hit him enough times he starts a mode. Hit him, I believe, five or six more times. That's the multiball. Then you've got these X's right here. These X's are multipliers. The multiplier goes up based on how many walkers you've killed without collecting that rollover. You can move it so that the ball doesn't collect it. You can keep killing walkers and getting it. What happens is the second you hit, you roll over the X, the next shot you make is that shot times however many walkers you killed to build that up. It's pretty good. Kyle, good to see you. What I like to do is, if you're not familiar with the particular walking down the machine that you're on, move the flashing lane light to the right, because what happens normally is when you plunge the ball, it just rockets right down into that far right lane. If it doesn't, you have time to control it, but if it just goes straight down, you screw up the skill shot. So always move it to the right when plunge. It just saves you from, you know, getting butt hurt. I don't know. When we do BFB, guys, it's mandatory to be Twitter doing where's the code every so often. Yeah, it's true. Modes are, since the new code came out, modes are super freaking important on this game. So, let's say you just plunge this, Which we did. Here's what you're going to want to do. Knock these down. So that's going to be, what, six machines that we're going to play? Between Wednesday and Thursday? Anyway, so you're going to plunge, get your hands on the ball, maybe give a little love to the prison up there. A little bell walker. Start this mode. That's another thing you're going to have to look out for. And here's how I deal with the straight down the middle on the magnet. magnet is seven machines if it's 26 hours. There you go. If you have a game where the magnet's just dropping it instead of throwing it, while it's holding the ball on the magnet, flip the flippers like crazy. Because what that does is you're alternating the electricity as far as the current's concerned going into the magnet, and it might wake it up and toss it. If it really doesn't do anything, all you can do is just a big frickin' slap or slide save. There's really nothing you can do about that. On your personal safety pegs then, Sean. Alright, so you see I knocked down two of the targets. Really all it takes is one. But you'll see it's like locked into food. It's not roving anymore. anymore. So by knocking down this last target, Luke will be locked in for the rest of the game. But by knocking down the third one, it also starts the choice of whatever mode you want to play in. So without giving a little slap, you just got to be on edge and ready to play at all times. The reason we bought Iron Man back in the day was that game felt impossible to us. That game was just, like, draining us. We couldn't find the shots. It just, like, it was dumping all over us. But what we did is we found that as, like, that's what makes a game interesting. So we went out and we bought an Iron Man, and we had it here, and we trained on it. And what you come to find is, like, when people design a machine, They know what you're used to, and they tweak it a little bit. And Iron Man was just like a ball buster. But, you know, by the time we got rid of it, you know, we could play the game with our eyes closed, without a ball save, freaking no rubbers on the posts, outlanes wide open, playing on two ball. We made that game as hard as possible so that we went out into the world, and we annihilated people on that game. And it worked. When I was in Pinburg, I played on Ironman. The first thing that got my attention when I started watching this channel is the way you use the flips to control the vault. If you want to know anything about flipper control, I'd be more than happy to show you. Actually, here, I'll show you some flipper skills, everybody. I'll show you some stuff. So let's see if I can get a... Alright. So, this is called a cradle. Now, let's say you wanted to make a shot to the left ramp, and you can't backhand this shot. It won't make it. You know you have to make it from the right flipper. What you can do is something called a post pass, And this is done on a lot of the newer games. It sort of replaced the tap pass that was used back in the 50s and 60s and 70s. But let's see if we can do it. So what you're doing is you're going to do a quick flip like that. See how the clipper barely even moves? It's going to wrap the ball into the bottom of the slingshot and hop over to the other side, hopefully. Just like that. You see it gave it to the other clipper. It's a little dirty. Here's a bounce pass. That's where you don't do anything. also called a dead flip. So here's another post pass. Perfect. That's a post pass. So you're just getting it from one side to the other. That's all you're doing. Post pass. Bounce pass. The bounce pass with the dead flip is seriously just letting the ball pop off of one flipper and go to the other side. That was an alley pass, don't practice that because that was actually a mistake. Alright, let's get another bounce pass. There we go. Double bounce pass. That was called a live catch and what that is, is when the ball... Yo, self processing! When the ball is coming at the flipper and you feel like a bounce pass or a dead flip isn't going to work and it's work and it's going to go straight down the drain, you can do two other flipper maneuvers. One is a live catch where, as the ball's coming, you flip the flipper right as where it would meet the ball. Not that it's going to hit it, but right when it would meet it at the top. And that just eats all the momentum of the ball and leads you into a nice cradle. Meet center. Thanks for the freaking host, man. The other type of catch is called a drop It's a little harder. It looks way sweet. Let's see if we can get one. That's a drop catch. Also, a slight note, if the ball is ever in this area above the slingshot, the lane divider between the out lane and the in lane, and the post that's sort of guiding the ball into the out lane, if it's anywhere in here, whatever the ball's closest to, like the top of the slingshot into the top of the diverter or the wall over here because it's leaving, ram that piece of geometry into the ball to get it the hell out of there immediately. So if the ball is coming towards the top of the slingshot, you'll see me nudge immediately and it rams the playfield into the ball enough to get it the hell out of there. You don't want to trust that it's going to go through the inlet. Oh, I definitely have a stool to for sure. Drop catch. See that? That was a drop catch. It was perfect. Perfect. When you watch people in like 8-Division finals practice, they give them 30 seconds to practice on the game. The first thing they do is they plunge, they start to peel it out with a few slaps, if nothing's happening you just do real big moves, they'll speed the tilts, and then they know where their limit is on how to beat it up. On older machines like the sort of hotshot era of game, if you give it any warning, like if you hit it, you're supposed to nudge those games. They were designed for that. Quiet, there are strategies to plunging, but it all depends on the game that you're playing. For instance, the strategy on Whitewater is not to give it a full plug, but just to barely get over the hump, and then use the upper flipper to start making shots, because you don't want it to come all the way around. On this game, you want a full power plunge, but you want it to roll over both of those, roll over targets when they're flashing, and then go through the inlay. Oh, flipper baby, shut up. Some of the older Gottlieb DMs, if it's a multiplayer game, if it doesn't end the entire game for everybody, it will sometimes tilt through the next person at all. It's crazy. So trust the bounce pass when you know it's going to be on the flipper. If there is any shadow of a doubt that the ball is going to instead touch a piece of plastic instead of the rubber on the flipper, trap it immediately. Because what just happened there was I read that just a little too wrong, it hit that plastic and instead of bouncing over, it just hit the plastic and rolled right down the drain. So that right there is a an example of why I like to take bloodbath first before I start any other multiball because once you your progress towards bloodbath is also helping you start modes. So if you're hitting this then starting mode, hitting this, starting mode, hitting this, hitting this, once you get that multiball going you have modes going also and then the second you have balls coming into play for your multiball focus on one of these typically I just beat the crap out of him let's bring that multiball in with that and then just start rocking that 2x shot to keep it alive and the game just opens up for you man I went from what did I have going into that, like 20 million? Woo! Holy crap. So anything else is incidental? So once you have the modes running and both multiballs going, just make sure you keep your 2x up. That's the only objective. Once you feel like things are getting a little hairy and you're down to like 2-3 ball play, start knocking down targets so that you can get your add-a-ball going. Number one, this is called trapping up or cradling the ball. This lets you look at the play field and decide what you want to shoot next. If what you want to shoot can only be done from the opposite clipper, you can do something called a post pass where you quickly ram the ball to the bottom of the slingshot and it flies over like that. Then you trap up over here. Then you can shoot from that clipper. There's a series of catches you can do from, let's see, drop catch. That's a drop That's called a train because I'm an alien. What time does a 24 hour stream start? It starts at 5 o'clock Central Standard Time, the time we normally start streaming, but on Wednesday. So two days from now, I'm going to have like a little table here. We'll have a little table with like mouth cough drops and caffeine and chips. So I just eat a bunch of chips, I'll fix into the microphone and be like, yo girl, what's up? Then you want to shoot this.
