## Transcript

[Applause] [Music] [Applause] he all right so we got Pulp Fiction all unboxed and we're ready to do some gameplay unfortunately Rudy had to go so it's just going to be me but why I'm so excited about this game in particular is because at pinball Expo about 2 years ago when they brought this game I had what I thought was the game of my life I was having such a blast well why don't we just do a quick flashback to pinball Expo to see how hype I was for Pulp Fiction Elton John lines being absolutely insane I decided to check out Pulp Fiction as a big fan of the movie I figured that would be a safe bet playing a game where the theme speaks to you is a big part of pinball pinball machines span Generations so there's really a theme for everyone but theme isn't and everything the game needs to shoot well and have a fun layout and man I think Pulp Fiction delivers but this isn't your typical modern pinball machine you won't find a big LCD display on the back in fact you'll find an old school looking alpha numeric display that brings you back to the '70s so if you're more of a fan of modern pinball you might not like this one but give it a shot anyway I think it might surprise you I had one of my best games on this actual machine I played one ball for about 15 minutes I was so excited about that uh and I'm probably more of an intermediate pinball player so having a single ball last 15 minutes is not something that happens very often Pulp Fiction is one I could totally see owning one day now to find $9,000 H that's a little tough and man this hobby is super expensive maybe I'll find it locally on pinball maps and experience it that way I think the first ones are shipping out soon so be on the lookout for it at your local arcade or arcade bar okay so maybe I wasn't having the game of my life but I was having a blast with this game and here's really the reason why it's a good blend between a modern game and a retro game while it looks like a retro game on the surface there's a lot of modern technology weaved into it and I really think this would be a great game to add to your collection if you had mostly modern machines but you wanted something that kind of played uh like an older machine but didn't have the headaches that maybe an older machine might might give you if you don't want to be fixing games and repairing games and stuff like that so so it's a beautiful game we're going to get started I'm going to hit the start button one of the other crazy awesome things about this game is that they really Incorporated the theme Pulp Fiction Big Time a lot of the call outs are using the voices from the movie so it's really great and so to in order to get the skill shot we to see those arrows up at the top we're going to want to we're going to want to get it in the middle when the blue arrow is lit so it's a little bit of a timing thing but I have no doubt that we can get this no doubt in my we didn't get it all right it's fine one of the drop targets already got hit down so we're good on that this is a tasty Burg all right although that doesn't count as a locked ball because a like lock lock is not lit currently so we just need to hit that one more drop Target down boom now the lock you can see the lock is lit so we got to get that shot right right behind the pawn shop we got it okay so ball one is locked you get this really cool green lighting effect when you do it Lighting in this game is actually pretty amazing for for uh for a game that's kind of supposed to did we get it we did not get it again all right so the lock is still lit it will reset though if we get a ball drain so we're going to get ball to lock I am not getting a drain right here I refuse I'm going to get it right there okay ball two locked so we're one ball away from pawn shop multiball we're still on ball one we're doing pretty good we didn't get the skill shot but hey it doesn't always happen all right but we got 2x scoring cuz we got the Big Kahuna thing over here I'm still learning the game so ooh ooh did we get it damn it I miss missing it every timeck get scared that's when [ __ ] accidentally get shot when mofos get scared that's when mofos accidentally get shot that's probably very true all right let's see if we can get this ball ball three locked and we can start the damn it did there we got it okay so here's the thing I think we have to hit the drop targets again they're going to reset and I that and we have to complete this mode but you don't have a lot of time to complete these modes in this game that's one thing I almost wish that the you had a little bit more time cuz you don't have a lot of time and I just drained two balls already that's not close we just can't lose there we go okay I got oh shoot okay I think we got one more in that lock and I think we're good I don't think I completed the mode yet though let's see one more come on we got it I think we got it did we get [Applause] it is that completing the mode did we do it or no I think we did I don't know I think we did I don't know what we did but it's awesome look how exciting this is all right I think I don't know hey I'm going to get excited no matter what all right I one more shoot okay we hit the pin one more wait wait I think we're going to get it hold on shoot we're going crazy okay did we get do we finish it no the the light is not lit so we did not finish it but we got we have a pretty good score right now so I'll take that so the other multiball we can do there's there's two other ones we can do I think there's two other ones I don't think there's three but we can uh play with the briefcase which is on the a little harder to hit but I I find backhanding it works so if I try to hit it from here I don't usually hit it seems like a backhand so we'll we'll work on that in a second but but the multi balls are fun in this game I feel like I feel like pawn shop multiball is not that difficult to get either which is kind of a fun one to start off on now I have the I don't have the game aggressively pitched I have it at 6.5 so I know when I play this on location at electric bat it plays a little bit a little bit faster because the pitch of the game's well you get a little bit less of the the right to left movement but uh the you know it does seem a little bit faster so we have a good score right now we almost have a million I feel like that's a decent score for this game being someone that's new to it I definitely am not I'm definitely not an expert at this game by any stretch of the imagination but I'm I'm I'm okay with that score for right now okay let's see if we can backhand the briefcase briefcase Boogie shot okay we did one so there's three drops there damn it didn't get it let's see I I think we can right here there we go I got one more drop and then we can lock ball one it it's hard to hit it from that from that right flipper but got it okay so see if we can lock one of the balls in there I think we can all right can we can we do it from the right flipper that's the thing we did all right sweet we're doing we're playing pretty good get down get down okay I I actually think we can get both these let's see if we even get the skill shot too come on get get in there I think we can we can start briefcase Boogie multiball I I I can feel it right now we're playing pretty good let's see nope okay we're I'm play I'm playing very radically right now that's never good it's kind of tough from the right flipper but I feel we can get it we got it all right ball two ball two locked one more and we'll get briefcase Boogie where's our ball oh it's right there okay let's see if we can get that all right bounce bounce come on give me a good bounce here no oh no just missed it I mean I want to help you okay I'm feeling though we're going to get this briefcase Boogie I I I know it oh we we got it dude best game play recording [Music] ever I didn't know he could do this but he's got the moves yeah all right woo get down get down Dam draining balls like crazy but that's cool problem is I can't complete any of these I I I do good at like getting them I just can't complete anything cuz I'm not hitting any of the shots oh I just I think I just got a Bonus that's solid okay I'm not really sure what I'm supposed to shoot I think I'm supposed to go in that briefcase Boogie little section over there and I'm not doing that damn it all right ball control ronzio ball control okay here we go let's see no no I think we have I we're going to run out of time and now I think that's it that's it all right well I feel pretty good about that as a gameplay demo I still have not completed a freaking mode but I feel like I'm progressing through the game pretty good and my score is not bad I'm on ball two and I'm doing all right I don't know if you've never played this game you definitely got to go check it out it's on location at a lot of different places you can find it if you can't find it go to pinball map look up Pulp Fiction in your area there you could probably find one somewhere it's just such a fun game and if you're someone that likes modern tech mixed with sort of something that that feels and plays like an older game I think you'll have a lot of fun with this and the rules are pretty approachable so far although uh I don't know what I'm doing other than how to get the multi balls I I got to figure out how to progress with so some going to have to watch like a Joel video or a Zach video or something because I know those guys know what they're doing let me give you my final thoughts on this and then we'll wrap things up we are in the new studio here in the garage that I just created I'm going to do a tour of this because I have brought in obviously Pulp Fiction so I have more machines and by the way that whole he only buy Stern games well you're partially right but you can't say anymore no no you can't say it anymore well you you're still going to say it or someone's going to say it yeah the little the silent majority or the the vocal minority I don't even know what I'm talking about damn that was good that's dumb I'm going to do it again my garage that's been fully remodeled I am going to do a full video of that because I'm so excited to have this room so all the machines are out here in the garage I got AC in here it just feels so good to have a space where I can come on go in that bag and find my water really the one bad [ __ ] really Pulp Fiction in the middle of the outro now I don't have to worry about volume and disturbing people in the house I have a full area where I can do whatever I want I can move machines around I can work on them but anyways I'm super excited to have Pulp Fiction in the collection because it's just a really fun game that feels old but yet it doesn't I don't know how to explain it until you play it I played it 2 years ago I've been thinking about it ever since that time I played it and I kind of thought maybe the time is now maybe the time is now and it was funny because I got this from Zach at flipping out and if you are looking for a pinball machine I highly suggest you go and talk to Zach over at flipping out pinball I have a link in the description I didn't know that he did a review of this game and I went and asked him if he had one and then that came up in my feed which was kind of weird and creepy at the same time cuz I'm like oh man you know AI is listening to us so then I messaged him I'm like are you trying to tell me something and he's like hey I don't know man but um a really good guy to get a pinball machine from so if you are looking for one definitely hit him up but yeah I'm loving this game it is so much fun I have a lot to learn I need to go and watch some videos so I can learn how to play it but as far as like the basics I think I got the basics down and start all the different multiballs and I'm having a blast with it it's a little bit of a harder game but I think uh hard is good I think and you have some harder games in your collection because it really helps you get better especially if you're like me and you've been playing more competitive Pinball it's almost like I've been you know adjusting the pitches of my games to make them a little bit more difficult or or at least match the way they play on location at electric bat and some of the other places I play at but anyways I will obviously have some live streams of this game as I kind of get things rolling in the studio I've had a lot less time lately so thanks for hanging with me it's been it's been crazy at my day job and I just haven't had the kind of time I was having you know years ago so I'm trying to just still pump out the content but make sure if it's less the quality is up you're going to get maybe less content but I'm make sure the quality is there all right guys that's all leave comments down below what do you think about Pulp Fiction go check out pinball map go find yourself a Pulp Fiction and play it I guarantee you're having a great time and if you're going to Texas pinball Festival you'll probably be able to find a couple of them there so go check it out anyways thanks so much for watching guys and we will see you on the next one
