## Analysis

Don from We Are Pinball records an excited first-time reaction to the newly released Labyrinth trailer by Barrels of Fun. He breaks down visual elements, mechanical features, game modes, and design choices, drawing comparisons to Jersey Jack's Wizard of Oz and praising the theme integration, toy quality, and playfield layout. He expresses significantly increased hype for the game and plans to play it at an upcoming Pinball Expo event.

### Key Claims

- [HIGH] Labyrinth features a screen on the back of the playfield for projections — _Don explicitly identifies a screen at the back of the playfield visible in the trailer_
- [HIGH] Labyrinth game modes include: Knockers, Four Guards, Fireys, Bog, Cleaner, and Goblin City Multiball Battle Jareth — _Don reads mode names directly from the trailer footage_
- [HIGH] Labyrinth is designed without a bumper nest — _Don observes 'I don't think there's a bumper nest in there. That's interesting' while analyzing the playfield layout_
- [HIGH] Labyrinth includes optional accessories sold separately including topper, art blades, and shooter rod to keep base game cost lower — _Don identifies multiple 'sold separately' callouts in trailer for topper, art blades, and shooter rod accessories_

## Transcript

We are now recording this extremely awesome reaction video to the Labyrinth trailer that just dropped like five minutes ago. I just saw that it's available. I haven't seen it yet. So I thought, what better to do than what all the kids are doing nowadays, the reaction videos. So we're going to pop over, and I'm going to play this thing. We'll run through the trailer once, then we'll go again for a breakdown. All right, picture in picture is activated. All right, let's get over here, and let's watch some Labyrinth. I'm excited. Well, we're all waiting. Here, I'll set some fire. I have turned the world upside down. What? And I have done it all for you. You have 13 hours in which to solve the labyrinth. Turn back before it's too late. Holy garbage. Things are not always what they seem in this place. Long adventure, search me. We're just the knockers. All right, all right, I like the pick of the place to go to LED. Not your bus! Would you go left or right? Nice. Orders for days. Stop, I say! Blast it out of my house! You may have to run it, I can't wait for it to fire. Shh shh shh. Whoa, super jackpot! You're a wonderful conversational companion. Well all these must be the modes Alright odds in there greener Complete this quest and you be rewarded I love VR plates Fire forms Ramps playfields All the stuff I like. Music. Magic dance. Magic dance is there. Where you going with a head like that? Look what I'm offering you. Your dreams. Okay. All right. Collectfun.com. we're gonna have to go check that out next all right let's head back in here let's discuss here for a second yo like if you were making a uh jim henson's muppet kind of universal game i mean that's the kind of stuff i would expect to see see all the characters like popping up a little rattle on the roof of the house i dug that and it's labyrinth so there has to be branching paths branching diverging paths let's jump through this thing again real quick here and break it down that was legit the first time i've seen that and like my hype index hype index is up let's talk about this all right play through again here well we're all waking all right check that art yo like it's one of the siege scenes it looks like i just watched this movie again the other day just so i'm hype on it i don't see any lollipop room and we got the regular green star button there um uh yeah rocket city pinball get on that i have turned the world topper accessory sold separately dude if that if that's animated if those muppet puppets up there are animated like you like you'd have to go down and i have done it i can't tell if it's just a translator if it is back glass but hopefully if they've done I'm back glass, man. Yeah all right I getting Wizard of Oz vibes all over this Like you know stepping up to jersey jack wizard of oz for the first time like the upper play field the sculpts um you know the witch that popped up like that was all there and if that's what they inspired this from you know that's awesome a little horseshoe shot down there with one of the characters is that a okay it was like a drop target there between the red stand-ups um i like the house mech the plastic ramp into the wire form the metal ramp into the wire form 13 hours in which to solve the labyrinth turn back before it's too late nipper rod accessories sold separately which one's nipper oh my oh it's it's one of the things that was on the jousting poles that they were biting the characters with bro bro can we talk about wormy young adventurer search me so that's i'm hype on that all right so yeah put a screen in the back of the play field you know that's an area that i guess currently is underutilized really with everything so you could put all kinds of projections and things back in there look there's the two doors there's a two-door action love it magnet so here's what i'm looking at it doesn't look like the ball actually goes up on that sculpt up there but there's a diverter underneath it you know there's a drop target that could pop up I like the flap on there too so that'll probably function each way Right. Stop, I say! Block it out of my house! Love that. I wonder if as you play you collect the characters on the journey There a little fairy right there I hope you can spray raid on the fairies and unlike venom there a super jackpot all right so there your modes knockers four guards fireys bog I'll boil it love it that's in there the cleaner and then uh Goblin City multiball battle Jareth all right that must be your wizard mode there yeah I mean this is kind like best case scenario as far as you know layout and game design i would think wise man quest shoot five orbits yeah i don't think there's a pop bumper nest in it that's interesting i like that this came with uh art blades shooter rod sold separately topper sold separately. That'll probably keep the main cost of the game low, and then for those of us with more space than sense, we're going to get Muppet Toppers. I like the lit speakers. I hope that's a speaker. And you got the music. Dance, magic dance. Where you going with a head like that? Love that. Look what I'm offering you. Your dreams. And I'm hoping that uh there's gonna be even more that hasn't been quite revealed yet let i'm gonna go check out that collectfund.com here in a second um but yeah that's our reaction video man i'm hyped for labyrinth now like like exponentially more than i was before i just watched the movie the other day i dig it you know um and uh yeah we're gonna be able to get to play this uh next week next friday friday yeah i think it's friday saturday right i said there's a pizza party at expo and i'll be covering this and i'll even probably do a facebook live too thanks for for joining.
