Okay, just got to do a quick little super shout-out for some super thankers, all the fellow shenaniganders who have sent super thanks. We've got Nathan Brandt, we've got HL20NB, we've got Rob W., Casey Karp, The Truth Carruth, John Beck, Mad Scientist, Rob Vieira, oh, happy birthday yesterday, by the way, Colks Pinball, WMS Pins, Chris McKinley, and the latest super thanker, it's a repeat super thanker, John Beck, $63.89. Another $4.99 US. He's loving the new intro action by Daniel D. Dummer, and so am I, and I think so is everybody. So thanks again, John Beck. Much appreciated. I'm Mike Dimas, and this is Pinball Shenanigans. Bye, doggies. Oh, shit. Yo, what is going on? I think it's time for a little Grazley Garage action. Oh look, I'm wearing the old school Grazley Garage logo. So what's happening today is that, actually it's tonight, me and Corey Cook of London Pinball are heading over to the Grazley Garage. And we're going to do some pinball repairs. Do some pinball playing perhaps, and some beer drinking. There's only one tournament this month at Forked River, which usually happens on Tuesdays. And so, you know, because the holiday, Canada Day, fell on a Tuesday, so we didn't have a Forked River event then, last week. And we're not doing our Saturday events. Whoa, it's bright during the summer because it just doesn't get a good enough turnout. So this Tuesday, we're doing Grazley Garage fun instead. So while we're over there, there you go. Block the sun for you. We're going to go check out, see what Kevin has been up to. The last Grazley Garage video showed a little bit of his Medieval Madness project. He had completed the cabinet decals and cabinet restoration and was starting to work on the playfield and uh we'll see to what degree he has uh progressed on that. I know he was hoping to get his uh powder coating in this week so we'll see if that happened. Wow, this uh sun is really bright. Let's try and do that. There you go. A customer has also brought over an old school animated bowling game. Not like a ball bowler, but like Kevin restored one of these before. Same machine for our buddy Ben Benedict. It's got this little bowler guy. A ball goes into his hand you turn the knob to aim his direction and then you like maybe press a button or something to launch the ball into the bowling pins. Kevin restored it to like 90 but we never actually got to play it because Ben Benedict took it home and finished off the project himself so we have another one at the Grazley Garage now and I don't know, I don't think he started on it yet, but we can potentially take a peek at that. And maybe when this one is done, we can actually play it, because it looks pretty cool. Maybe even throw a loonie or two on it. And what else? I guess Rob Edwards' High Speed is over there, so there may or may not be progress on that. I do know that the Subway sign Kevin got fairly recently. He's made a can for that, lit it up, hung it up, and sent me a photo of it, and looks pretty freaking cool, so take a peek at that, anyway, we're gonna, like I said, putter around over there, World Cup Soccer's resetting, I think Roadshow has an issue with Red or Ted, and we'll, uh, put our brains together and see what we can come up with, and, uh, you know, hopefully after so many beers, our brains are still functional. So we'll see what's going on over at the Grazley Garage today. All right, bro. Let's go for a tour. Let's see what's going on. What are you up to? Mabel, lead the way. Let's go. Let's see. Socks and sandals. Oh shit busted. I did socks and sandals. I was in the house. No excuse. Alright, it is dark. So let's see what... Let's just snoop around in the garage here and see what's going on. Okay. There's the High Speed. It's in the exact same state as we saw it last time. Except maybe the wrap is a little... You moved the playfields. Oh, right. Yeah. This is getting a new playfield it's gonna be pretty sexy but High Speed coming soon. Zenith also coming soon. Three feet by effing six feet sign that's now all LED it's encased with the whatchamacallit can Kevin made that looks like aluminum and it's all lit up and apparently it looks friggin awesome I can't wait to see that lit up. So that'll be going into the arcade very soon. There's my switch bin. Are you still working on that? Yes, having a quick out there. Okay. Anything. All right, we'll skip by this guy right here and have a look at the ball bowler. That's not what it's called, though. What is it? Ten Strike Bowler. Ten Strike Bowler. Ball bowler when I say ball bowler I think of like you know rolling balls down a freaking lane by hand but this has got the little animated dude you turn them left and right and then push this guy to bowl is that supposed to make his arm go forward and then literally a ball will come down this track and land right here and then this guy's going to shoot the ball down the lane. Oh, perfect. There's your reminder. So this is the second one you've done. But the first one we never got to play because Ben took it away to finish it off. So this is another item in the queue. This is not original. Golden Horseshoe Amusement. So you have made a stencil kit for this thing because you've done this before, so that is a bonus you threw the tracings out. No, no. So you got to remake the stencils again. Oh man, that's unfortunate. What are the odds that you would get another one of these in your lifetime? I know I was kind of keeping them around because you know, this guy messes and said hey, you know would you like to do two at a time and I'm doing the one kept around for like eight months. Yeah, I never heard from the guy. Oh geez, and then after you throw them out he's like hey, remember me, let's do this now. Hey fellow shenanigans, if you are enjoying what you are seeing, why don't you click on these three dots at the bottom of any video and then find this heart, click on that, and hey, look at this. You can buy me a beer. You can use the slider to buy me 500 beers if you really like, but this is a way you can send thanks, and I very much appreciate your support. If you do so, your comment will be highlighted, and also I will give you a shout out, so thank you for all your support. It's got the original ashtray or cigarette holders. That's pretty sweet. What year is this thing? She's old. She's freaking old. 50s? 59, I think. So, yeah, you've got to build a backdoor for the cabinet, a backdoor for the head. You've got to do some constructive surgery here. Yeah, like all this. I think a whole chunk is missing off the other side. It's not normally rounded like that. That is not original. But anyway, that's in the queue. Also in the queue, the original Medieval Madness. Holy crap, is this playfield ever fucking populated. There's a lot of stuff going on here. Oh, we might actually get to rotate it because the top side is what percentage done waiting for. So every metal piece... Oh, yeah. Uh-oh. That's what I need to make this piece for the troll. It's gone. Okay. Here we go. Check it out. Every single metal piece for this playfield that can be removed has been removed and is out at powder coating. Yep. And it's going to be... What color did you say? Blood red. Blood red. That going to be the dragon, yeah where the dragon. Oh cool, you had a broken wing on your old dragon. Here it is, look at that. Oh, that's amazing. I thought it was all one mold. Who would have thunk you could buy new wings? Very cool. So yeah, so it's gonna match that and so like all the brackets he's holding on, literally all the lane guides, everything. Yeah, so it's kind of the same color as I did Dracula, and okay, Indy 500 is the same red now. This thing was a filthy mess and um cleaned up very nicely. Yeah, what's this here? Just a little that's decal. Yeah, so I just put that there but that's the the only piece that doesn't come in the new plastic set. So uh okay, new plastic set coming, I see you got clear pop-upper bodies and skirts, some purple LEDs going on there. Transparent, yeah. Titan flipper rubbers throughout. These are my left end, those are. I'm changing those. That's what, oh. Are you okay? I get that it's coming along and then all the parts down here we've got, we got the subway system, we've got the castle. Look at this. Oh, I just, I broke it. Don't tell Kevin. That's pretty cool. More castle molds here. This castle here. This is the one that's animated that explodes. It's very cute and very cool. All kinds of more random miscellaneous parts there. Is that all for Medieval? Oh no, that I see. It's kind of a mixed bag of stuff. Here's all the ramps, plastics. Any random stuff. Oh yeah, looks like it's all cleaned up. Yeah, everything's good to go, but just waiting for the plastic set now and powder coating. Plastics and powder coating, and then this thing can get pieced together. Yeah, so a whole new plastic set. You'll be getting that in about a week, we think. So there you have it. Okay, but wait, there is more. We've got the cabinet in the arcade. We've got Corey Cook of London Pinball also farting around in the arcade. Trying to fix some random stuff. Some Tales of the Arabian Nights trough issues. Some Roadshow Red or Ted jaw issues. They are not happy right about now. And some World Cup Soccer resetting issues. You solved the problem yet? I'm pretty sure it's connector. Yeah, it normally is. When I give this guy a wiggle, J101, J102 as suspected. So I imagine it would have normally reset by now. Well, it's been resetting consistently. What did you do? Reseat them? Oh yeah, of course. Yeah. I think there's something a little bit more involved. Oh, is that a reset? Yeah. All right, well, that is what we're dealing with with World Cup Soccer. But, oh, check this out too. The topper has been officially installed on the NBA Fastbreak, and Kevin was smart about it and actually cut the topper in half and put a joint there so that, you know, if you're playing both games simultaneously and somebody's a little aggressive, it doesn't friggin' break the topper in half or cause strain on the brackets or the heads or anything. So I like what you did with that. It looks awesome. And yeah, that was a smart move. How do you like these things, though? These things probably the nicest pair of NBA Fastbreaks in existence. Now, here is the Medieval Madness body. The cabinet is all done. New decals. The head, the boards. And it is looking good. Oh yeah, and the art blades. These are Brian Allen Flyland designs. Got some pretty killer trolls. We've got an awesome wizard. Some fire-breathing dragon action. I just love Brian Allen's art. It is awesome. What do we got on this side? We've got a knight who's got shot in the forehead with an arrow. We've got the catapult. House of Pain. The King is a Queen and some catapult explosion over here. Also, how do you like the powder coating choice? This is called what is it? Dark blue purple? Yeah. I think it suits the machine beautifully. Oh, hi Mabel. Here we go. This is the Brian Allen translite. We got flying cows and chickens and basketballs, skulls and bowling balls. That's all catapult stuff. There's the wizard again. There's the dragons, the princess. We got skeletons. We got this guy. This is the House of Pain guy. And there's the trolls front and center. Really cool art and it matches the art blades perfectly. So that's gonna look awesome. But yeah, this powder coating is just gorgeous. Got the side rails, the hinges, every bolt polished, even under the head. It's looking good, brother. Get the flat black coin door as usual. I just ordered the Black Knight from Monty Python and the Holy Grail for a keychain. Oh, nice. You got some, looks like some Johnny G custom apron cards. I actually had the original one, but... Or, uh... I had the exact same set. Oh, did you? Accidentally ordered a second one. Oh, shit. Okay, yeah, so that's, uh... That's the state of affairs for the Medieval Madness. Let's, uh... Want to turn on some signage? Let's turn them all on. Why not? The latest and greatest sign. Here it is. Ready for it? Subway. Eat fresh, Corey. No. So, what do you think of that? I think that looks awesome. If you haven't really seen all the signs in the arcade, I'll give you a quick tour. Wendy's is very recent. That is the latest one, other than Subway. And then, so, Zenith is going up. Yeah, Zenith is going to go right there. So that wall and door is made of... Oh yeah, by the way, no more boiler plumbing and wiring. That whole enclosure is brand new. The door and paint job looks great. Yeah, I was going to make a trim. Did you put that on? Oh, did you? This back wall here is going to be, imagine a giant Dairy Queen sign right there. Zenith there. And then, yeah, this thing is just kind of getting crazy with the signage. Taco Bell, Pepsi, Burger King, Doctor Who, Double Dragon. That's one of my favorite signs. Taco Bell, of course. Hey, it's actually Taco Tuesday, just so you know. Yeah. Hostess. Oh, that was the, what was that? Like Elias Street Burgers or something? Elias Deli. The other two parts didn't work, so I just got hamburger. Yeah, we just got the neon hamburger. Love that. Oh, and that sign there came out of my girlfriend's best friend's shed after like 10 years and then made its way to your place. And then you illuminated it and there that lives. Coke and Sprite sign. Wheels, Jumbo Video, Burger King, and this vintage stereos and records sign. Oh, and of course, Raiders of the Lost Arcade, a family adventure. Yeah, and then the Top Hat has to go up still on the Grazley Garage. Yep. Got the Kool-Aid guy, Grazley Garage still to go up. Top Hat Amusements, the only Top Hat Amusements sign left in existence. You got the police bike that you restored that came out of the Grand Bend Arcade. It's kind of piled up right now doing drywall. But yeah, I think that's about it. Crispy Cream, more Taco Bell signage. Yeah, I think that is about it. How's Corey making out over here? Let's go snooping on Corey and see what he's saying. What are you doing over here? I need a sip of beer. Okay, it's a very sexy headlamp you got there. Yeah, Corey gave me one of those for Christmas and I wear it like every time I'm working on pinball machines now. It is the best. All right, well hopefully we have some success with that but you know WPC reset issues are always a pain in the nuts so we'll see how that goes. Right Mabel? Well thanks for the tour, appreciate it. You're such a good host. We'll see you next time.
