## Analysis

Don and Genghis from We Are Pinball podcast discuss Jersey Jack Pinball's game lineup from 2013-2023, rating machines from Wizard of Oz through Godfather. They analyze gameplay mechanics, theme integration, pricing, and market positioning, with candid assessments of each game's strengths and weaknesses. Notable themes include criticism of Guns N' Roses oversaturation and pricing concerns, praise for Pirates of the Caribbean's design, and speculation about unreleased Harry Potter.

- [MEDIUM] Guns N' Roses LE was the last time Jersey Jack made a standard version of any game — _Don: 'This was the last time Jersey Jack had a standard version' - based on historical observation but not independently verified_
- [HIGH] Guns N' Roses is oversaturated in secondary market with 5,000 LE units produced — _Genghis confirms 5,000 Illys produced and notes they are 'unsellable' and 'for sale everywhere'_
- [HIGH] Toy Story 4 LE pricing jumped to $15,000 at time of release, representing a significant price increase — _Genghis questions 'what are they doing?' regarding $15,000 price and connects it to industry-wide pricing changes_
- [HIGH] Precision flipper installations dramatically improve Hobbit playability — _Genghis: 'I have played the game with the precision flippers installed. I'm telling you, it has got exactly the same place... this game shoots fantastic'_
- [HIGH] Toy Story 4 is making significant location revenue despite high price point — _Genghis states: 'as a location pinball this game is making money like crazy it's unbelievable' based on direct operator experience_
- [HIGH] Godfather has 37 ball paths in the playfield design — _Don states: '37 ball paths and i don't know what i'm supposed to be doing' - specific technical detail mentioned_
- [MEDIUM] Harry Potter is the next JJP game in development and will likely be a white body with castle buildings — _Don speculates: 'If they have Harry Potter and they do something like this... It's going to happen. I mean, I just hope it's a white body' - expressed as confident prediction but unconfirmed_

### Signals

- **[business_signal]** Pricing escalation trend in JJP lineup (Guns N' Roses undervalued despite 5,000 units vs Toy Story 4's $15k launch) suggests margin/production cost issues (confidence: medium) — Genghis notes Guns N' Roses at $6,700 used while Toy Story 4 launched at $15,000 with same cosmetic components; questions cost justification
- **[community_signal]** We Are Pinball reaching 1,000+ Spotify listeners and 185 Facebook members in first month; establishing itself as emerging pinball media platform (confidence: high) — Genghis: 'We just hit 1,000 listeners on Spotify... people are joining our Facebook group now... today's number 185 members'
- **[competitive_signal]** Location operators see JJP games as premium luxury items vs Stern Pro machines designed for operator sustainability; Guns N' Roses position as 'poor man's JJP' acceptable for locations (confidence: high) — Genghis: 'If you don't have that much money, If you want JJP awesomeness, go ahead and buy this Guns N' Roses pinball machine... Stern Pros... marketed for us location owners'
- **[design_philosophy]** Godfather playfield has 37 ball paths but lacks clear purpose/progression; strong theme/artwork execution undermined by hollow core gameplay (confidence: high) — Don: '37 ball paths and i don't know what i'm supposed to be doing... they made this really cool themed game that I don't really want to spend a lot of time with'
- **[design_philosophy]** Pirates of the Caribbean represents 'wide-body done right' with packed gameplay vs Hobbit's floaty/open design; establishes design standard (confidence: high) — Genghis: 'This is like a wide-body done right... You use all that room but still have fast, frenzied gameplay, not just big, open space'
- **[market_signal]** Guns N' Roses secondary market collapse due to 5,000 LE unit oversaturation; game available everywhere at $6,700 despite quality theme integration (confidence: high) — Genghis: 'It's $6,700 because thousands of them exist out there, and the market is just completely oversaturated with this game... These are also down in value'
- **[personnel_signal]** Ken Cromwell at Jersey Jack involved in marketing/licensing decisions (refusing to sell gold leg line CE accessories separately) (confidence: medium) — Genghis: 'I contacted Ken Cromwell and I said... can we buy a couple more of those gold? And he said, no, the gold versions are not for sale'
- **[market_signal]** Toy Story 4's $15,000 MSRP marked significant industry pricing escalation; Genghis questions what justifies $3,000 premium between LE/CE beyond cosmetics (confidence: high) — Genghis: '$15,000. It's a lot of money... What's the difference... You got the same powder coat... You got a plastic topper... where was the extra $3,000 going'
- **[product_strategy]** JJP three-tier pricing model (Pro/LE/CE) showing diminishing returns; Toys Story 4 CE cosmetics ($3k premium) not justifying cost vs Guns N' Roses (confidence: medium) — Genghis: 'You got the same powder coat... plastic topper and some glitter sparkles... where was the extra $3,000 going into this game'
- **[product_concern]** Guns N' Roses experiencing durability issues: stage light failures, hot rail LEDs dying, clear coat chipping on location units (confidence: high) — Genghis: 'The lights at the back, stage lights will die... The hot rails... they die... something happened. They just fell down... just blind you. So a lot of issues with this game'
- **[rumor_hype]** Willy Wonka originally planned as Toy Story theme but lost license after delays, forcing last-minute pivot to Wonka (confidence: low) — Don: 'The rumor is that this game originally was going to carry a Toy Story theme, and then something delayed it long enough that they lost that'
- **[technology_signal]** Dialed In's iPhone-era LCD screen aesthetics now look dated (multiple generations behind); questions JJP's screen technology strategy (confidence: medium) — Don: 'they shot themselves in the foot making that little LCD screen look like an iPhone at the time. Because now it looks like my great-grandmother's iPhone'

Okay. So back in 2013, they came out with Wizard of Oz. Let me hear your thoughts about JJP Wizard of Oz. The industry was forever changed. I mean, nobody had seen a game like that before. Definitely not a production model. With a screen that big, like, they went hard, man. You know, we were in the Stern Spike days with the little dot matrix. I don't know if it was Spike yet or still Sam. We had Sam back then. Yeah, so pinball was just the dot matrix cartoons and then the layout and everything. And this was like putting a plasma screen almost, the size of the entire backbox. Like, what the heck, man? The Rainbow Lights show also. Wow, pinball innovation. And everything, the pop bumpers were a forest, upper play field, a monkey grabbing your ball and dragging it across the backbox. It's like so many things that pinball had just kind of stagnated a bit at that point. Mountain sculptures, dual, dual upper playfields. Oh, my God. A spinning house. Yeah. And the colors. De coloris. You know, man, geez. Yeah, like they just, you know, I think Rainbow Puke was probably invented that day. And then they stuck to their guns, man. I mean, that's been a trademark of J.J.P. It's been that splash of color everywhere. everywhere but like oh yeah there's no mistaking walking by that game and not noticing it's quite different from everything else next to it i feel it was the biggest pinball innovation in the history of pinball jumping to a big 27 inch screen and i think it was a white body game also and it was just a heavy jam-packed pinball machine i love the two shots it has at the back just exactly like on twilight zone really like those two shots at the back of the playfield beautiful game i was i really liked it when it came out so awesome game right love everything except the theme and i only say that because like the first time i saw it i'm like what the hell is this it's colorful huge screen and i'm like wizard of oz okay and then here i am grown man man child playing this game with ruby flipper slippers right and i'm like should i really be playing this like it's not the most but it was fun there was so much stuff to shoot there and it's like you know i had to really appreciate if this was like like a killer like theme you know more so than just like a 1940s film gosh man i couldn't agree more with you man it's just a theme but you know if for 70 year old guys I think this is a killer theme. Yeah, everybody knows this theme, man. Like, everybody's watched this a hundred times. What about a black-and-white anniversary edition of Wizard of Oz? You and your black-and-whites, man. We're going to talk about you. Very much on trend right now. Guys, on episode two, this guy said that he should sell some of his games. He didn't have room. On episode three, he comes in balling with two brand new limited editions. And now on episode three, he just bought a brand new pinball machine again. We're going to talk about it. We're going to talk about it. Okay. Okay. Beautiful game. Wizard of Oz came in different versions also. Yellow, brick, and ruby red. So beautiful stuff. All right. Next up, three years later, 2016. Three years later. 4,000 produced, The Hobbit. What do you think about The Hobbit? I enjoy The Hobbit. I don't know if I enjoy it enough to own it, just because it's got that really laid-back, wide-body style where it's not the fastest-shooting thing in the world. But, man, a theme. Dude, when that trailer dropped for The Hobbit movie, I was more excited than I was for the original Lord of the Rings movies. So, like, you know, God, the theme, this theme is nuts. I just feel like the play field feels a little open, right? Some of the shots are kind of far away, and you just, like, got to get them up there. It's got that JJP flipper, you know, the old school one. Not the new one with the new IO board, but, like, you know. I mean, I have played the game with the precision flippers installed. I'm telling you, it has got exactly the same place. Twilight Zone dual shots at the back. Exactly the same place. And the right ram is not easy. But if you install precision flippers, oh, my God, this game shoots fantastic. Oh, I would like to play that. But with too much flipper strength, when those, you know, heads pops up with the monsters, you will get air balls. Oh, my God. Sure. So if you want to buy this game, buy the cheapest one they came out with. That was called Black Arrow Edition. Because this game came in different revisions. And as a distro, when we sold these games, that left RAM exit had some issues. And we got these replacement parts that were sent out to customers. So this game got updated all the time. But the last version, the Black Arrow version, had everything updated in it. So many small but very cool details. bulletin details so get that one if you want this game great great game i remember like the day that i bought my first machine the guy took me in the back he's like i got some other stuff too he had a dialed in back there which i had never seen he had hobbit was one of the games too and at the time you know i got a stern black knight for like six thousand dollars or something fifty eight hundred and uh he wanted like ten thousand eleven thousand or something for this game and i'm like that's too much to pay for a pinball machine but man look at how pretty that is is hobbit it was like pretty new at that time it might have even been black arrow because this was uh this was like 2021 yeah man there's too much money 10 000 you're saying yeah at the time yeah it's too much i didn't know as much as i know now next thing dialed in 1600 produced it says on pin side dialed in in 2017 by Jersey Jack Pinball. Have you played this game? I have played the heck out of it. A buddy of mine, shout out to Joe, lent me the game. I lent him my Godzilla for a bit. And, yeah, so I got to have dialed in in my home to really put some serious time on it. Which version? LE, so it was D-I-L-E. Okay. And, yeah, I'll give it two whomps, man. That's how I feel about that game. Womp, womp. Well, last weekend I was with my brother. We played some pinball against each other. And he really loves dialed in. We played dialed in. I'm telling you, shots on layout, beautiful. I like it. He likes it even more. That screen, the phone, I like this game. This game with another theme. Can you imagine how cool this would be? That's exactly it. That with another theme. Because when I play this game, you walk up to it. And first off, they shot themselves in the foot making that little LCD screen look like an iPhone at the time. Because now it looks like my great-grandmother's iPhone. It's like so many generations behind. And then, you know, if all I cared about was shots and layout, this game's got everything. It's got that cool little hologram theater. It's got physical ball locks. It's got magnets throwing things around. So it's got all the stuff, but the theme is just a complete wet pancake, right? Oh, my God. Those magnets, Don. So cool. But that hologram, look at that hologram dialed in, and then look at it on Ghostbusters. Come on. I'm just, yeah, yeah. You know what I mean. So it's like, and watching the screen, the animations that they made for this just look like a local news channel made some bumpers. It's like I can't get excited about it. If there was a monster ravaging the city or something and things were blowing up and buildings were falling over, it would have made a lot more sense if it was a little more campy. But it just looks like I'm watching somebody's public newscast and then playing this game that shoots pretty well. Did you have a PC back in 1989? Of course I did. I think so. Did you play a game called SimCity? Oh, Maxis' SimCity. I played the hell out of that. Yeah. this game reminds me of SimCity. Disasters in the city. I mean, it just reminds me of it. Would that have been a better theme? You know, play SimCity. Here's your city. Build it out. You know, collect the things. Put down the residential properties. And then here comes a random event. A tornado comes through, you know, or Godzilla runs through. Now everything's on fire, right? Something we could relate to that could be nice. That would have helped. Yeah, if that was SimCity, yeah, I could get behind that. It's a lot of weird mishmash of themes. You've got the girl in the back with that pizza handle thing that works as a diverter. You've got the weird electric guy in the play field. I don't know how he fits into anything. So I think a little bit more refinement in there, you could have had a much more elevated game, I think. I agree with you, man. All right, let's jump to the next one. Pirates of the Caribbean 2018. 150 standard versions 650 limited edition versions and 200 collectors edition and mr jersey jack himself his biggest regret in life is limiting those ces to 200s only this came out of this man's mouth so what do you think about pirates of the caribbean god why didn't they make more of these games, man. This game, man. This game's amazing. Completely packed and loaded with just the AAA theme. Yeah, it's like Pirates of the Caribbean. Come on. There's so many ball paths in here. What I love about pinball machines, what really draws me to them are when I can see an element, a ball path, a mechanism, and I gotta wonder, like, how do I interact with that? What do I have to hit to get up there? What do I have to light to do that? And this game's full of that. So many fun toys that in there, a rocking upper play field back and forth, the one ship fires a ball at the other ship. God, I love that, man. This was a game that I was actually thinking, should I sell six of my machines and just go all in on one of these just to have the game? God. Why aren't they making more of these, man? Black Pearl Edition, let's make it happen. God, I wouldn't have played this again in Florida just recently. God, it's just that I had my best game I've ever had on it. I got like high score number four and this isn't a place that gets a lot of tournament players. I just happen to have a lucky game and everything is in here. You blow up the ships, you know, gobble holes are there under flippers, the whirlpool is there. There's just so much going on. Yeah. I mean, I have unboxing videos with the limited edition but also the collector's edition and that collector's edition is just astonishing looking. I really love that game. more of that please more of that integration yeah theme integration with this game is madness yes it's such a magical pinball machine again a wide body they should make i love wide body games because there's just so much stuff to shoot and to do this game 99 perfect but there is just one issue i have got with this game is when you're in a multiball you can start another multiball and a third multiball and a fifth multiball while you're in multiball. So sometimes it's multiball heavy, but that's the J.J.P. way. That's our boy Eric. Everything else, it's just a great game. I love it, man. I love it. Okay, if they have Harry Potter and they do something like this, but with Harry Potter, holy crap, man. It's going to happen. I mean, I just hope it's a white body. I hope they have got the castle and buildings and everything and flying Harry. Everything is just, wow, can't wait. Yeah, this is very much, one more little point. This is like a wide-body done right, okay? Hobbit feels a little empty, a little floaty. This game is so packed with stuff to do. So many different neighborhoods exist within that game. Like, that's how you do wide-body, right? You use all that room but still have fast, frenzied gameplay, not just big, open space, you know? There we go. Exactly. You still have narrow shots in the middle because it's just jam-packed everywhere. And all those sculpted, molded stuff. Oh, my God. At the pop area the pirate that spins It so good man It so good Love it All right Next pin Willy Wonka 2019 The Chocolate Factory. Limited edition. Collector's edition. 500 collectors. What do you think about Willy Wonka? What do you think about the theme? Let me hear about the theme first. That's, like, probably one of the greatest themes of all time, first off. Like, can we just say that? I was also fortunate to have another friend that has this game that let me borrow it. It's actually in my lineup right now. So in the last couple of months, I was able to spend a ton of time on Dialed In, Ellie, and Wonka. And so, yeah, I mean, I like this better than Dialed In, and probably because of the theme. I think it shoots well enough. You know, people say this was their best shooting game. I don't know. But, like, I feel there's so much theme integration that was left on the table for some reason, and that keeps this game from being great. Yeah. I mean, this game is jam-packed, really. Willy Wonka's jam-packed. It's not a white body. It's well-designed. It shoots well. But the theme doesn't do it for me. The music doesn't do it for me. Everything that happens on the back glass doesn't do it for me. And my brother loves this game. It's like his top three games of all time. And he's like, come on, you have to play some more. It's a great game. But it just doesn't catch me like Pirates does. I don't know why. The rumor is that this game originally was going to carry a Toy Story theme, and then something delayed it long enough that they lost that, or they were going to lose the Wonka license, so they had to then quickly go and put that in there. It kind of feels a little bit like that. You know, you've got the big TV screen back there. That could have been Etch-A-Sketch, you know. Who's doing the call-outs? Who's this old man's voice? They never say who it is. Is it supposed to be Grandpa Joe? Because it doesn't sound like him, and, you know, he's not on the screen when he's talking. You know, why isn't Augustus Gloop a physical toy that gets sucked into the play field? You know? I'm talking about call-outs. Where are the songs? On Star Wars. Yeah. From Thern that you own. Yeah. Why is Gandalf from Lord of the Rings doing the call-outs on that game? Because that's the greatest game of all time, and they had to get the best white wizard ever made to be there. It's so weird. It is. it's serviceable enough, you know, because I'm in a frenzied space battle when I'm playing that. But I'm playing Wonka. I want to hear, like, psychotic Wonka call-outs. I want to hear the songs, except for Cheer Up Charlie, maybe when the ball drains. But I want to hear, like, you know, it's got this, like, weird voice. And I can't tell if it's, like, a tender, loving grandpa or, like, some kind of, like, sex offender that's just like, come into the van, Charlie. It's like, oh, it's, I don't know. It's, like, too syrupy sweet, man. Dude. Do you want an extra ball? Talking about music, Donnie. Guns N' Roses, my friend. Oh, yes. Guns N' Roses came out back in 2020. It's an old game. It has got standard version. The Illy. Boom. 5,000 Illys produced and 500 collectors edition. What do you think about Guns N' Roses? This was the last time Jersey Jack had a standard version, and I think that's a good idea because there's nothing in that game, man. When I saw this game, I bought this new in box, man. Which version? I bought the LE. I got the LE, and I was like, when I saw it, I saw that that left wire form ramp was a bass guitar with multiple ball paths down there, and it almost worked as like a triple upper play field because you had to get to the upper and then buck up to that one. I was like, this is genius, and it's absolutely loaded with songs. You're left wanting for nothing. 22 songs, I think. It's got the best light show experience in pinball. When you play Live and Let Die, there's a couple of moments where everything just goes dark, and then the colors run in with the shaker motor. Live and let die. Slash worked on this game. Come on, man. The only thing it needs is the game plays a three out of five, right? multiball heavy. The plunge isn't exciting. The flippers were kind of weak. absolutely everything else was stellar on this so like yeah what a game man i mean i love the theme i do i love the music i do theme integration again Eric Meunier really realized theme integration but let's be honest let's not just lose all the listeners this game from gonzon rosos from jjp this game is the poor man's jjp it's so cheap you can get a limited edition for what six seven thousand dollars if they can't sell them it's the cheapest jjp game out there they are unsellable and people are saying guns and roses is just a jukebox with lights it's just a game that shoots really, really bad, clunk fest, weak flippers, multiple all the time. But I'm telling you, when I have friends over, just having a blast, man. Yeah. Yeah, you have to be in a different mode. It's not a game where now I'm going deep 45 minutes and just – it's not that type of game. It's a turn your brain off and – If you haven't owned one of these, you can pick one up for a deal. and have a hell of a good experience. It's not $6,700 because it's a bad game. It's $6,700 because thousands of them exist out there, and the market is just completely oversaturated with this game. They made so many of them. They made 5,000 limited editions. These are also down in value, but listen to me, Don. Let's be honest here. Yes, a lot of them are made. A lot of them are out there, but real collectors, they don't want this dog in their collection. I'm sorry. Let's just be honest here. This game doesn't shoot like Elton John. If this game shot and played like Elton John, you'd probably have the perfect music pin. Oh, my. If this game shot like Elton John, it would be the best game because the theme is cool, and the theme integration is awesome. The light show is awesome. The spinners are guitar picks. You have the stage at the back with the moving can lights. There's a ramp that's drumsticks. They're the officially licensed drumsticks from the Thunder Chuckers, man. How about the pop-bombers? They have got that tip on the pop-bombers. What's it called in English? Oh, the drum kit? No, the cymbals. It's got the hi-hat cymbals, yeah. Details, so cool details. Yeah, I mean. Again, cheap game. Nobody wants it. It's for sale everywhere. Everywhere. So I would say Guns N' Roses, it's a poor man's JJP game. Would I recommend you to buy it? Yes. Buy it. Install precision flippers. Or you can actually for like $10, you can buy bigger caps. The capacitors, yeah. Yeah, it costs $10. And then you have very, very powerful flippers. When you install that and you hit that left ramp, the ball will just fly up and oh my God. But after having this game for some months, the clear coat would chip off. The lights at the back, stage lights will die. We have these games on locations. What's the side light? The hot rails. Hot rails, they die. Oh, no, don't tell me that. I haven't seen that. No, they die, Donnie. They die. I mean, one of ours is just green only. The other one is just white only on the left side. It's so irritating, man. And I have replaced those stage lights. They're awesome. But something happened. They just fell down or just lock in a position where they just blind you. So a lot of issues with this game. There's so much secrecy in pinball. I wish we could go in as like a focus group as they're developing these things and say, you guys might want to take another look at that. I don't think that's going to hold up. I think where you're going, we can still make some changes so these games can be great. Why do you think the Stern pros are still cheap, they don't jump in price, and they are marketed for us location owners? And at Stern, they know what to do. I mean, it's just perfect for us, for location. They should collaborate in some way because, yeah, it's a great – I mean, when normal people, non-pinball people works, they just want to play some pinball on a location, when they see Guns N' Roses, they can relate. Theme from the late 80s, you know, 90s. Theme from 90s, people can relate. They want to play this, and it's just, you know, multiple, multiple, multiple people. Yeah. It doesn't make money like Toy Story, for example. Yeah. Again, poor man's J.J.P. If you don't have that much money, If you want JJP awesomeness, go ahead and buy this Guns N' Roses pinball machine. Hell of a game. It's cheap for sale anywhere. Turn the music up. Yeah. Yeah. On your headphones. Next game in line. Oh, my God. Toy Story 4. 1,000 collector's edition produced for $15,000. and okay on Pinsight it says 5000 limited edition produced of Toy Story 4 but were they though? oh that sounds crazy I can tell one thing as a location pinball this game is making money like crazy it's unbelievable Unbelievable. It's such a popular theme. Again, people don't care if it's Toy Story 1 or Toy Story 4. Kids walk by, Dad, it's Toy Story. Let's put in $3 and play. So personally, how do you think the game shoots? So not bad, actually. Essentially, it's no good gophers, so of course it does. But I was ready, man, when they revealed this. So I was like, all right, it's coming. I've warmed up to the theme. I got my money ready. Let's do a deposit. And then I saw what I saw, and then I saw the price, and I put my wallet away, and I said, all right, what's next? Yeah, this was about the time they got this price jump. I mean, $15,000. It's a lot of money, Donnie. Come on, what are they doing? What are they doing? What's the difference between the limited edition and the CE? You got the same powder coat that Guns N' Roses Ellie had on the CE. You got a plastic topper and some glitter sparkles. And then you got this shooter rod that everywhere on location I've seen it, like the paint's worn off of it. So, like, where was the extra $3,000 going into this game? Something happened at that time. I don't know, a few years back. Something just happened. It doesn't feel like a J.J.P. game. It's stripped, but it's a fun shooter, man. Okay, let's jump to the next game. Oh, you get the Bo Peep call-outs. I'm sorry. That was also in the CD. Personally, I actually like to play Toy Story. I like it. I like the shots. I would have it in my home. I like the game that much. It's cool. Yeah. And the prices are coming down. It's not a cheap game like Guns N' Roses, but it's a cheaper game. If Toy Story was Guns N' Roses prices, I'd pick one up, no problem. Yeah. Okay. Yeah. Check this one out. 2023 Godfather. Why? PE 1000 produced. Limited edition in production, it says. Okay. So we don't have numbers of Godfather. Have you played this game? What do you think about Godfather? I played it as soon as it hit the street. Why did they do this theme? I love the theme. It was rumored, and I was thinking, how do you make a pinball machine about the Godfather? And then I see it and I'm like, well, okay, yeah, so this is how you would do that. But it's not exciting to me. They essentially made a mafia-themed pin and they put amazing-looking artwork all over it. And 37 ball paths and I don't know what I'm supposed to be doing. And the fountain is fun to look at and that's kind of it. You know, it's just, they made this really cool themed game that I don't really want to spend a lot of time with, is what happened. Donnie, this game. First of all, I love the theme. That's the first thing. I unboxed the Collector's Edition. I'm telling you, Christopher Franchi's artwork on this game, you have to, on the Collector's Edition, it's amazing looking. The topper is amazing. theme integration is amazing music the whole sound package of this game is amazing i like the shots of this game it's also amazing i actually enjoy this game but i think i'm the only one that likes this game so much i like this game i enjoy but the theme speaks to me that i think i think that's a part of it of course but uh yeah i really really enjoy this game man yeah you have like uh like Essentially, that was valid. Love it. So one more time. So in the back of this game, you've got a big nest of ball paths, which I enjoy that, but kind of nothing else there. There's no upper play field to kind of shoot for. There's not much going on on the right side. A couple of spots you can lock your ball. I like how they did the skill shot. At least it's not like Guns N' Roses was. You actually have to try to get it in there. But, like, I don't know. The best thing about Godfather, I can say, is it came with those leg lines that magnetically attach to the legs. Because I bought myself a set of silver ones of those, and I put it on every game I have. It just rotates around the game room. It was on Jaws. They're on John Wick right now. I had them on Labyrinth. I put them on Elvira. Every new game gets the lions for a month. Actually, you're talking about the silver ones. I should talk to Ken Cromwell about it because I said, you know, it looks, I mean, we have got the gold ones on the collector's edition and they look amazing. And I said, Ken, man, can we buy a couple of more of those gold? And he said, no, the gold versions are not for sale. They are only for the collector's people. I also contacted Ken Cromwell and I said the same thing. Like, you got an extra set there or something? Can I just get some of these, man? Can we make them available? He said, no dice, man. And I was like, oh, brother. But I bought the accessory package with the topper, with the art blades, with the shooter rod, and the leg lines just to get those lines, the silver ones. And then I sold everything else on Pinside and kept those. Oh, nice. Okay, let's jump to the newest game they have got. No, yeah, the newest game now at recording. 2023 Elton John collector's edition 1000 and what's the PE version platinum they came with a rebrand oh let me start with this one I unboxed the platinum edition I started ball I filmed it it's on my YouTube channel Retro Jango I started ball one I'm not a Elton John listener but instant shots and layout I was home. It was Steve Ritchie. Oh, my sweet mother of candy floss. This game, it's not jam-packed, but it's so cool game to play. And when you're listening to Tanny Jans, it's just crocodile everything. I love this game. Man, I love this game. And, and, and, two, no, one day, yesterday, yesterday, we got message from JJP. our collector's edition got picked up and shipped so i will unbox the collector's edition very very soon i'm so dumb to own the platinum and also get the collectors but oh my god so stay tuned for an unboxing i can't wait what do you think about this game man what a pretty game man so yeah like like it's it's it's Steve Ritchie's star trek but even better like like things have been improved all around, you know, outside of being able to bash the piano, like the damn starship there. It's got everything else. I love that up under flipper shot on the right side where you lock the ball in there and then it auto fires into that huge ramp that just goes all over the play field with the trailing lights by it and then ends up being fired right down your gullet at the end. God, it's just, it's awesome, man. I love shooting this freaking game. I love putting balls in the piano. I like hitting the weird ramps. I like the sound of the spinners. Everything is great on here. Steve Ritchie, he can still do it. God, man. Get this guy another theme and let him go, man. Get this guy up and build the materials and say, do it, man. Do it. Imagine if Led Zeppelin was this. Imagine if any music pin was shot like Elton John. Man, yeah. It's a great, great game, and I can't wait to unbox the collector's edition. Yeah. All right. So beautiful talking about all JJP games. I'll talk about Elton John for 40 minutes. In upcoming episodes, we're going to take another company and talk about their games. Let's just do that. So let's go to part two of this beautiful podcast. I hope you're enjoying yourself on this episode four. So I have planned we going to talk about the straight down the middle top 10 themes that could be themes yet to be made Okay So they had this top 10 list and we going to just power them through The way we do it is Zach and Greg Bone, they said, number 10, Taylor Swift. Boom. And then I'm going to ask you, Donnie, Taylor Swift, who should build it? and who should design it. I love this. Yeah, yeah. I mean, you're not prepared, and I didn't want to share this. I'm ready. Number 10, Taylor Swift. Who should build it? Who should design it? Jersey Jack should build it. Steve Ritchie, let's make him do Taylor Swift. That would be fucking hilarious. Oh, my God. Imagine a fast, strong flipper. and Jersey Jack because they put so many songs in their machines. I mean, look at Guns N' Roses. Look at how many they put in Elton John. Like, you know, if you're doing a music pin, I want every song in there if I can get it. And I want sparkles and I want lights and I want great sound and audio. You know, Stern Pinball could do this, and I'm sure it would be fun, but it would still have, like, the generic speakers. It wouldn't have a big amplifier in it. You know, it would shoot well, but it wouldn't have, like, the art blades. I mean, where do you get the CE of Elton John and open that up and see, like, everything that's in there, the rad cows on the side, the sparkle armor, the shooter rod, the glitter in the play field, man. If any game needed glitter in the play field, Tay-Tay all day. So, yes. I mean, I'm 100% with you. JJP should make Taylor Swift. This is one heck of a beautiful, beautiful lady. This is not a pinball that should have drawn artwork No, this is just the Photoshop, Taylor Swift pictures She's so... I mean, oh my God She should be all over the place It should be J.J.P. I suspect that Christopher Franchi probably already has a file of personal fan art he's made That's already ready to go for Taylor Come on Oh yeah, so Frenchy Here's me and Taylor Here's Taylor and Barlow can you imagine the light show off that game if you made it oh my god but i would say eric minior should design it because his team integration is just off the roof and i think he would just integrate this lady beautiful in this pinball machine so you're the question to you is who should build it who should design it third question is you do you want to own this Would you buy it? I mean, God, just for the haters alone, I got to do this. Probably, probably, right? Oh, man, my daughter, she pretends like she hates Taylor because her best friend loves her so much. But I would love to get it just to see the smirk on her face, roll her eyes, and then her friends would all flock to it whenever they came to the house. Like, yeah. Okay. Man, it's an expectable new game. I would probably buy it. I mean, I think she's so beautiful. So I would probably buy it. But the next thing I want to answer is how well would it earn on a location? It will earn better than Harry Potter. Yes. It would be the number one. Yeah. So we would get it on all our locations all over the place. Oh, my God. Build this game. I mean, this is the thing. Like most of our fans seem to be women. So if the women are drawn to this game, the men will then be drawn to the women that are drawn to the game. So everybody will be over there playing. Everybody would want to play a game with their girlfriend. Hey, can I be player two there? Yeah, dude, come on. This thing would earn. This thing is built to earn. Oh, my God. Build it. All right. Number nine. Okay. Beetlejuice. Who's going to build it? Who should design it? Would you buy it? Yes, yes, and yes. All right. Spooky pinball, for sure. Spooky designed. And, yes, I probably have a deposit on one somewhere if they ever make it. The reason is, I know, okay, spooky, they're art, man. I mean, look at Alice Cooper's Nightmare Castle and, like, that color palette that they used for, like, the monsters and his look. Scooby-Doo with the same kind of color palette, the greens and the blues. I think that would translate to Beetlejuice. Plus, these guys don't do a theme unless they can get 100% of the assets. So, again, I know Stern could make a good flipping, you know, Beetlejuice's Graveyard Review game and stuff. But, like, I think Spooky would overproduce for this thing. and just have a dripping with everything they could possibly cram in there. And then they would do code updates for the next 10 years. Jersey Jack, love them, but after one or two code updates, they kind of lose interest and go on to the next project. And if you're doing a music pin and you've got all the songs in there, then you're kind of done, right? But for movie theme, yeah, I'd have them do it for sure. Okay, so we have to power this through because I have put in some more games than only 10, so we need to rapid fire rapid fire so Beetlejuice for me I watched 10 minutes of that movie when I was like 10 years old I don't really remember it but it didn't catch me back then so for me who should build it what's the name of that company that has got one third pinball machine that's pinball oh Multimorphic stop it no Multimorphic should build Beetlejuice would I own it no would it make money on location no stop it oh my god you're killing me that's my opinion Pokemon Pokemon who should build it who should design it Stern Pinball Jack Danger John Borg Insider Connected yes 100% 100% Jack Danger Stern on location this game would be crazy come on would I buy it Pikachu yeah Pikachu I would buy it and it will be amazing on location. This game should 100% only be designed by Jack Danger. Alright, cool. We think alike on that one. Next pin, Top Gun at number 7. We should build that game. I can see this as like a Borg and a Stern release. It's a movie theme. You want it to be serviceable. You want to just go up and play it and not have any problems or flipper adjustments. Yeah. Okay. Okay. For me, Top Gun, one guy only. And that's Steve Ritchie. No one else. For me, it would be Steve Ritchie. Come on. But he's not going to come to Stern to build it. I need a pro premium and an LE of this. So the LE will have the aircraft carrier and the pro will just have the plastic. Come on, everybody. Will I own this game? Yes, because of the music. The first movie I watched a few years back, I remember when I was this 10-year-old kid, my uncle that was like, he's about 50 now, he had this ugly pilot jacket on with stickers on and it was like, it was a big deal back then, but I think you need to be about 50 to enjoy this movie. But I was at the cinema and watched Top Gun 2. that had flashbacks to Top Gun 1, and Jennifer Cullinan was in it. Top Gun 2 was awesome. It was a magical, magical movie for me. So I would prefer Top Gun 2, but still Highway to the Danger Zone music and Steve Ritchie. On location, I don't think you will make money on location. I'm sorry. It is what it is. Number six, the question is here. Matrix. Who should build it? Who should design it? God, I think each different company would build a different matrix. I'd love to see Stern, Spooky, and JJP each make one and then see what Dutch Pinball would do. I just want to see their pitches, like how they would do them. They'd be so different. How about JJP with the lights? Yeah. I want code updates, though, man. I want code updates to come. Donnie. So you don't want multiball on multiball in multiball? No, no, no. I want, you know, yeah, like John Wick looks so much like Matrix with the green that they put in there. But, you know, if it's Matrix, I want, you know, I want magnetic ball locks. I want a ball to lock in the middle and then like fly, be shot around the play field, like, you know, like bullets being dodged. Who's your design Matrix? Maybe Dutch. Maybe Dutch should do it. I don't know, man. I don't know because I know what, in my head, I could see what Stern would do with it, and it wouldn't have as much in it as I wanted. Spooky would have a ton of stuff in there, but I don't know if it would play as fast. And Jersey Jack would just make a game that's beautiful and powder-coated with radcals and no code updates. I mean, Jersey Jack, they would make this game so green, it would be super green with 2,000 LEDs, and Eric Meunier could integrate the theme. I mean, if I should have this, Eric should design it. Would it make money on location? Absolutely. I mean, 90s theme, it would make so much money. If it was Matrix, not Matrix 4. That's the risk you run with Jersey Tech. I haven't watched it, but come on. Nobody watched it. Next game, number five straight down the middle list was Goonies. Yep, yep. Who should design that game? Oh, this is interesting. This is interesting. I'm going to go ahead and say somebody I haven't mentioned before, and that's Houston's own Barrels of Fun. Makers of the Labyrinth. I know what you're doing there. I know what you're doing there. They got a little bit of that spooky vibe to them. They're still hungry. They're new on the scene. They want to get something out there. I wouldn't mind seeing them do something like that. Tackle that movie. If Barrels comes out with a killer theme, I mean, come on. Because they know what they're doing. Look at those two screens on Labyrinth. That was awesome having that extra screen below the glass. just for so much perspective and atmosphere? Labyrinth theme is just... I don't know. I never watched it. You can't comment if you've never seen it. Come on, man. I went out and watched Godfather. I never saw that just because it was rumored to come out. You never watched Godfather? I watched it on an airplane once I heard it was a rumor. I went out and saw it. The whole time I'm watching it, I'm like, we're supposed to root for this guy? He goes and he basically kidnaps some teenage girl, drags her back and then abuses it. Come on, who the hell am I rooting for in this movie? Well, it was different back then, man. I love that Italiano stories. I love it. All right, Goonies for me. What was the name? Multimorphic should make Goonies for me. Stop it. I'm leaving. Would I buy it? No. Would it make money on location? Are you freaking kidding me? No. Come on, man. So their number four is Toy Story. Yeah. I think they were talking about Toy Story 1. Yeah, yeah. Would that game make money on location? Yes. Yes. Buckets. Yes. Should they build Toy Story 1? Yeah. Yeah. Who should design it? Pat Lawler again? No. God. No good gophers part two. Who's really baller that would do this? It'd be a little Borg-y. Who else is out there? Not Borg. Not Borg, man. No. He's making, you know I mean, my boy Jack Danger would be awesome at it, I think Better than Richie would How about Eric? Gomez? No, Eric I don't know, I want to see him do another game like Pirates of the Caribbean And really get behind it Oh, yes Alright, alright Number three, Super Mario Let's go, everybody I want Stern to make this Because I want Insider Connected If they ever make a Mario, if Nintendo says yes, it will. On a location, it would be crazy. It would be amazing, man. And I want Jack Danger to build Super Mario. Whoever makes it needs to be able to crank them out. And not just wait a year for the thing and have it as this cool boutique game. crank them. Don't give this theme, Super Mario theme, to what's his name? We just said it. The guy that made Turtles. John Bork. No, no, no. No, I love John Bork games. Don't get me wrong. I have huge respect for John Bork games. Super Mario is nothing for John Bork. Oh my God, they should make that. Okay, number two on the list. Back to the Future. My brain is poisoned on it because I've pictured Dutch pinball with this for the last several years. Everybody knows it's on the way. Some says end of the year. I say February 2025. Let's see what's going to happen. I hope they have the Huey Lewis music in there. It's the power of love. Come on. Don't need money. Don't need fame. Multivolve, Power of Love. Don't need no credit card, ride this train. Yeah, it'll all come from me because I'll be sitting there playing the hell out of it. I think a lot of people would buy this game on location. If you ask young people today, if you say to a 30-year-old, do you know Back to the Future, they will say, what's that? It is what it is. Imagine if there's a line of LEDs that light up with the flames as the DeLorean takes off, just all across the play field. Just one side to another. They need to make super limited edition, 88 miles per hour version. They're going to see some serious shit. If American Pinball made it, they would have gold wing doors on the machine that would open up. And you put bananas as fuel instead of coins. Oh my God, Tony. Mario is back to the future challenge. Yeah. Okay. We can't really say who should build it, blah, blah, blah, because we know it's coming. It's on the way. So we're just happy we're waiting. Number one on the straight down the middle top ten list is Harry Potter. You're a Harry wizard. Oh, God, yeah. This is the theme, man. The castles, the dragons. It's like part Game of Thrones, part 90210, part Saved by the Bell. Come on. It's got everything in there. magic wands. It's got a Hagrid. It's got a freaking Hagrid. And what do you think about location with this game? Devastating every location it comes into. Yeah. Oh, man. Oh, man. Super nice. Alright, yeah. So, we had some honorable mentions we will turbo with. Mickey Mouse, would you buy it? Would it be cool on location? Eh, no. I think it's too tired of a theme for pinball. Yeah, yeah. Drop that idea. Yeah. Oh, Sylvester Stallone Rocky! I love Stallone, but I don't love the idea of Rocky. What am I going to do? I would buy Rocky. If he dies, he dies. I mean, if they have the training montage from Rocky 3 and 4, oh, my God, I would love it. I want Mike Tyson in it. Next game, Legend of Zelda. Should they build that game? Yes, it should be built by me. in my garage right now. Would it earn money on location? I don't know. I don't know. Like, you know, the people that love Zelda, I don't think they're going to the pinball bars and drinking, you know, craft brews and playing pinball. So I don't know. I would. I love the shit. I love it so much. I'm creating it myself. Next game, Superman. Oh, I watched Superman 2 as a kid from, is it from 87 or something? Pass. With Christopher Reeve. I would love that game. I would buy it. Would it make money on location? Boring superhero. Probably they wouldn't. If on location, they probably want the newest guy. I hate him. Henry Cavill or what's his name? He's a real cool guy. Artificial mustache. I would like the old original one, man. Yeah, no. Trash. I don't want to do this game. Okay, we jump next. Okay, this one. Oh, Die Hard. Okay, I can see that. Yeah. Who should design Die Hard? I don't know give me some names Jack D yeah Keith Elwin I would like a Steve Ritchie I want somebody that was designing games back in the 80s early 90s because I want it to have that feel I would say I would say Steve Ritchie also John Papadick no this one I already this one yeah Breaking Bad oh yes yes bring it Spooky Pinball you better be working on this damn game I want code updates I want every single asset I am the one who knocks. Spooky. Spooky, spooky. Spooky, spooky. Spooky, spooky. Okay. I mean, I love that theme. Breaking bad? More like breaking boards, am I right? I'm kidding. It's a great. I mean, and you have so much stuff to integrate. All right. Here's the thing. We need guns in the play field, right? So that excludes Stern right there. Even though Insert and Connect is amazing, I don't want them to do this game. I want code updates, so I kind of eliminate JJP from this. I want great art and, like, let's just go. Let's put everything in here we possibly can. Spooky does that. They're riding their A game right now. If their next release is as big of a jump from where Scooby was to Looney Tunes, I'm in, man. I want this. This is a JJP episode, and I feel like, do you own any JJP games? Do you have any No Guns N Roses was the only one I owned and I have a Wonka in the house right now that belongs to a friend So you know I get it but you know I want an adult game I don't want to pull any punches. I don't want to, well, it's very bad, but we had to make it to go into an arcade, so we had to make it more family-friendly. No, I want the violence and the weapons and the drug use and the swearing and everything true to life, true to show. Yeah. And that's why I want Spooky to do it. Cool. All right. Next game that was mentioned is Fight Club. Yeah. Yeah. It was cool back then. How do you make a game exciting about Fight Club? What are you doing? Trying to hit all the Tyler Durden targets. I don't get it. Love the movie, but I don't see how you make a compelling game out of that. I don't think it's not there. Next game, Christmas Vacation. Yes. Yes. I want it. Have you seen the movie? I don't know it, so I don't know. Have you seen it? All right. Add that to your Cengiz movie watching list. You've got to see National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation. I have watched zero movies with, what's his name, Chevy Chase. Yeah, they're hit and miss, I'll tell you. Skip Fletch, all right? But European Vacation, Vacation, and Christmas Vacation are fantastic movies. On the list. All right. Next game, Nirvana. That's a Jack Danger design. Yeah, I could mess with that. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, cool, man. I agree. Next game, Motley Crue That's for y'all You can have that Girls, girls, girls I don't know them Next game on the list, Finding Nemo No thanks Next game, Karate Kid It could be interesting People got Their willies stiffened on this theme For some reason, I don't know I mean, I'm aware of it Have you watched the Cobra No, it's I don't know. Huber Kai. I think I was probably too young when this came out. Huber Kai is awesome, man. All right. This one, it should be made by... Listen to this one. This one should be made... Yeah. Let me hear who you think about Fifth Element. Who should make Fifth Element? So this one's rumored to come from Barrels of Fun. And yeah, I'd like to see what they have to do with it. Oh, Barrels should make this game. Yeah. Absolutely. Yeah. Would it be good on location? I don't know. Would I buy this game? Absolutely. Next one, Lion King. No. Next one, E.T. No. Yes. Next one, Gremlins. No. Next one, King Kong. Okay. Wouldn't you buy King Kong? So I would be interested. So what are we talking about? Are we talking about doing like Godzilla where it's a send-up of all the campy old King Kong movies? Or are we talking about Skull Island, Reign of Kong, Jack Black, the modern kind of remake takeoff of that? I like King Kong. What's his name, the guy from Big Lebowski? What's his name, the main character? The dude? Yeah, what's his name? Jeff Bridges. Jeff Bridges. He made a King Kong movie back in 1986 or something. Oh. Have you watched that? I haven't. That's my favorite. That's my childhood movie. I had it on VHS tape. It started 30 minutes in the movie, recorded from a German channel. I love that King Kong movie. I would love to have that game. I like that. Keith Elwin. Let's put Keith Elwin on it. Yeah. Who should design King Kong, man? Elwin. Elwin should do it. I've been forgetting about his name this whole time, man. Yeah, did Jaws, did Godzilla do King Kong? Yes, sir, please. Thank you. I mean, it feels like he has monster titles on his belt. Jaws is a monster title also. Yeah, and it's great, and so is Godzilla, and that's like the best game available right now still. Oh, yeah. Still, still, man. Yeah. Beverly Hills Cop. Eh? Eh? Eh? Eh? Eh? Eh? Eh? Eh? Eh? Eh? Eh? Eh? Eh? Eh? Eh? Eh? Eh? Eh? Eh? Eh? Eh? Eh? Eh? Eh? Eh? Eh? Eh? Eh? Eh? Eh? Eh? Eh? Eh? Eh? Eh? Eh? Eh? Eh? Eh? Eh? Nobody knows who, but there's a new Beverly Hills Cop movie coming straight to Netflix, I think. Oh, yes. Oh, yes. I would probably buy this because of the music. It's so 80s. I would love it. I need the Bronson Pinchot call-outs, though. I am Serge. I got some weapons for you. Yes. Serge. Serge. Love. Yeah. Achuel. Achuel Fonny. Achuel Fonny. I love it. Okay, I'm on board. You got me. Let's do it. Beverly Hills Cop. Yeah. Next game. cool movie Reservoir Dogs but don't make a pinball of this let's skip it Kill Bill cool movies but nah let's skip that The Hangover fun movies but I don't see as a pinball I don't think there's enough there check this one out the most horrible theme in the history of pinball okay are you ready? and you love this Muppets yes give me some damn Muppets, Jersey Jack, you fill that box of lights with everything that's in there. Oh, my God. Make sure the flippers are strong. Animal multiball. Yes. I wrote to straight down the middle, guys, because this theme, it's not as an honorable mention. And this should be a number one. This is better than Harry Potter. Oh, I can't wait. Predator from 1987. Get me out of here. Better than Harry Potter. That ain't better than Harry Mancini I would love it Would it make a good man location? I don't think so Because we're dinosaurs today So what if it was Aliens vs Predator You can do all the Predator stuff And then you can put Aliens in it too So there's more content But Aliens vs Predator doesn't have Arnold I know It needs Arnold Stick around I would play it. We just need it, man. I would play it. I played the homebrew. Galloping Ghost has the homebrew that somebody made. And it's okay. It's very dark, but there's a bloody spine hanging from the cabinet, so that's cool. Bloody spine. All right, this one is interesting. Oh, my God. 90s hip-hop pinball machine with Tupac and Snoop and everything. Wouldn't it? I mean, that would be awesome on location. Yes. Yes. Yes. Honest question. Yeah. Who should design this hip-hop machine? The oldest, whitest pinball designer we can find, just because it'd be hilarious. Who is this now? We have hip-hop designers today. Elwin. Yeah, who's got hip-hop street cred? Can you imagine Elwin designing this Tupac game? No. Eric Meunier, maybe. You can't imagine Jack Danger, that punk rock guy? No. Steve Richard making hip-hop from the 90s? Oh, biggie, biggie, biggie, can't you see? No, we have no designers that could design this game. That's why we don't get – I mean, the only hip-hop game, maybe it would be Eminem. But, you know, 90s hip-hop, we have no designers. What about George Gomez? He's got some street cred. He's from Miami, isn't he? George Gomez. He could make some Cypress Hill. Yes. I'm having illusions, having illusions, making me mad inside. Yeah, maybe he's the best guy to design a 90s hip-hop. But other than George Gomez, I don't believe so. But I would love that. I would buy that and say it would be cool on location. Oh, my God. That's a top thing for me. So next game, Beavis and Butthead. Boop, boop. Yeah. Or Jack Danger only on Beavis and Butthead. And I would love it. It would be so cool. Cool on location. I would love that game. Yeah. And the last theme that's rumored coming from American Pinball. He-Man. Will you buy it? Come on, Skeletor. Yeah, He-Man. Come on, Beastman. We're going to go rule Eternia. I love this game, man. It would be great. My plan is foiled again. Back to Skate Mountain, Beastman. How does it run on location? I don't know. I want the Skeletor version. I want purple armor. I want blue and purple. I want, like, you're playing Skeletor. We're going to take down the masters of the universe and conquer Italia. God, if American Pinball makes the whole back glass a big castle, that skeleton castle here has got purple castles. Snake Mountain, dude. I had the play set. Look, if somebody could do this game and they could do a He-Man version of the heroes and then you could do a villain version with Skeletor, Those are your two versions, two different art packages, kind of same game and layout, blend the best of both. Maybe you can choose to play as heroes or villains as you start the game because, God, the thing is just it's based on toys, man. If you could make Transformers, you could definitely make He-Man and make it amazing. Absolutely, man. Do you have a, you know, top theme you really want them to make like me and Predator? Yes. I got a list of them. I think Christmas Vacation is one that I mentioned. I like Zelda as a theme. I think Gremlins would be awesome. It's a Christmas movie, 1980s, all that nostalgia. It's not Back to the Future, but I think with, like, remember, like, it's full of all those Gremlin characters. Plus you've got Gizmo that you can identify with as he takes you through. And it doesn't have to, like, follow the plot of the movie. Just make a game full of these green Gremlins tearing shit apart with a big movie theater screen back there. And it's just, like, just mayhem, dude. I think it would be fun. Do we have any others? Oh, God, any 80s movie. E.T. I think would be fun to do. I just jumped over E.T. I jumped over Grimm. How about 90s movies? Do we have something there? Train Spotting, no. Pulp Fiction was done. What's good? What was great in the 90s? Jumanji. I think Jumanji could work. From the 90s or the new ones? From the 90s. Yeah, okay. Robin Williams, yeah. I can see that. I can see that. Absolutely. So there are actually a lot of great themes, and we are getting to know all the designers we have out there, and they have their own style, and we love them all. I don't have a designer where I say no thanks. I love all the designers out there. I love the new games we're getting, and I think the end of this year and early 25 is going to be amazing, man. So put some money to the side. Stop buying pinball machines because Donny that should sell some games, get some room. He just bought another pinball machine. What did you get, Barry? Oh, so I have been on the lookout for a black and white premium Munsters from Stern. And, you know, not actively searching, but just keep my eye out if one popped up. And sure enough, on my drive to work here, I found a guy right off the interstate that had one for sale. We made a deal, and it went ahead and got it. It's got it sitting right in front of me here. And I'm kind of digging it. I know it's not really high in the pin side 100, okay? Don, I bought that game. It was really boring. I had to get rid of it. I'm having fun playing in the themed world of the Munsters with the theme song and the black and white movie clips. Yeah, there could be more in the game. I got the premium, so I got the lower play field. It's fun-ish. This isn't Godzilla. Heck, it's not Jaws. It's not Stranger Things. What about the shots? The shots of the game. It's Tom Bork, right? When I play an Elwynn, I know exactly where on the flipper each of the ramps are. This one, they're kind of moving around. They're a little tighter. I can't backhand really either of the ramps, so it's got that going against it. But I'd rather play this than Led Zeppelin, so it's definitely not the worst game Stern's produced. I think the shots and layout on this game is awesome. I enjoyed from day one. It has got the magnet that drives the ball and throws the ball. It has got Hermit. It has got the music. It has got great shots And the layout reminds me of Tales from the Crypt I like John Bork layouts Okay, I'll give you that Yeah, actually those two ramps are placed Do feel very similar It's got a great orbit It's got a fun little shot The Dragula shot that launches your ball around the orbit That's fun The gameplay, you kind of collect each character And then you can go for a super jackpot You can delay it and try to build up Risk-reward The callouts are fun I'm having a good time with it. That's the most important part. If you're enjoying it, if you're having fun, and I know it's pretty modded. It has got – share with us. Yeah, so this one came loaded with PinStadiums, which I wouldn't have bought for it, but I like playing with them. It's got speaker lights. It's got the shaker motor in there. It's got the upgraded side armor. So it had some extras in it. It's black and white, and I'm just looking at all the areas. I can add tiny little mod details that I can go print out. That will be fun. I mean, Donnie, you're a doctor, and you pick up a pinball machine on the way to work, and you have a pinball machine in your office. I mean, this is the coolest doctor in the U.S., man. I mean, yeah. So cool. Last time you picked up your tails from the crib. That's right. And in your office, now it's this one. It's so cool, man. Yeah. I hope you're enjoying it. That's the most important. But stop buying more games now. You have to sell some. You don't have more room. I know. If you had more room, buy more games. What do I get rid of, though, man? I've been curating the best stuff that's out there that I really love. I sold Godzilla to make some room here. People are going to be like, are you crazy? You sold Godzilla and you bought a monster? Yes, I did. You sold Jaws? I sold Jaws? Yeah. But now you've just got three games in and you need to sell one more game now. What are you thinking? I'm thinking, gosh, it might be Labyrinth. Oh, okay. I don't know. Have you played it enough? Yeah, I mean, I've played it a good amount. I really like the game, but I need some room, and the only way I can keep having new things float in is if things float out. And so I'm going down the line, and I'm not selling Lebowski. I'm not selling my Star Wars. I'm not selling Stranger Things until I get the damn UV kit. How is that holding up? I like it. Yeah, come on. It's Pulp Fiction. I can't get rid of that. But it's like, I elaborate this great too, but what do I do? That's what I mean. You just keep on buying. And trust me, after this summer is over, great, great games are coming, my friend. So I've got to, yeah, I either have to buy another house or open a location to put these things in and have like the best curated location in central Wisconsin. You want to share the Stern rumor? Oh, sure. Oh, before I get to that, Funhaus remake, the second one in the U.S. is opening tomorrow at District 1 Arcade in Stevens Point, Wisconsin. It's an hour and a half north of Madison. It's driving distance from District 82. Come in if you want to play at Funhaus. I'm putting that out there. It'll be on location tomorrow at District 1. So go check it out. Stevens Point. Visit. Yeah, check it out. How about the Stern? The Stern room? Oh, you mean the black and white Godzilla that's coming out at Comic-Con next month? That one? I heard a couple of things about that. Yeah? You know, nothing definite, but people have been mentioning it. So Stern was at San Diego's Comic-Con last year, and that's when they brought Venom, and they were live-streaming Venom from the show floor. Jack Danger was there. Everybody there was involved in it. And so here we are. They're probably going to be there again. So we're probably going to find out soon. All right, the show floor, the Exhibitor Floor map, came out last year on June 29th. So we're coming up to the time when San Diego Comic-Con is going to reveal who their exhibitors are, who's out there. And if we see Stern Pinball on the list, what game would they bring? Sure, they'll bring John Wick, of course. But it's San Diego Comic-Con, right? The big kaiju himself, Godzilla, 70th anniversary is coming up. And they could have this stellar game drop right there. They would get so much media. All of the influencers that they brought out last time for John Wick are going to be there anyway. so it just makes total sense that the greatest game of the modern age anniversary edition will be there wow man what I'm hearing alright Bonnie this was a cool cool episode again I really really enjoyed it but it's about to be midnight for me here in Denmark it's light it's a sunny day for you where are you located right now I'm in northern Ohio I'm on the shores of Lake Erie near Sandusky A little community hospital here.
