## Transcript

Barrels of Fun shocked the pinball community just before Pinball Expo 2025 with the release of their latest game and second for 2025, Winchester Mystery House. Announced with a total run of 525 units (about half of what they planned for with their first two releases, Labyrinth and Dune), the game would sell out within less than two days, and before its first showing at Expo.
After watching all the release content for the game, my guess is that the Barrels team was surprised by the swift reaction to the game and might have planned for a larger run if they had known how well the community would receive it.
Still, the release marks a good opportunity for us to take a step back and look at the state of the Barrels of Fun business now that they are 3 releases into their existence as a pinball manufacturer.
Here, we’ll break down their Units in Market for all three releases: Labyrinth, Dune, and now Winchester Mystery House. We’ll also compare them directly with their chief boutique rival in the space, Spooky Pinball, to see how they stack up.
Since I started the Moving Units series a few months ago, the Barrels team has been great about providing me with as close to actual sales numbers as we’ll get from most manufacturers these days, so I’ll be able to highlight our records vs actuals, plus touch on a few other recent developments for the company.
