## Analysis

Cary Hardy reviews newly revealed high-resolution official images of the TMNT pinball game from Stern, correcting his earlier skepticism about the artwork quality. He praises Zombie Yeti's art direction, details the Pro/Premium/LE feature matrix (including multiball differences, the diverter mech, and the Turtle Van), and announces plans to stream gameplay with Jack Danger and John Borg that evening to assess how well the game plays.

### Key Claims

- [HIGH] TMNT Pro has 6-ball multiball while Premium/LE have 8-ball multiball — _Cary Hardy directly compares the matrix data: 'up to an eight ball multi-ball in this game for the premium and le and only a six ball multi-ball for pro'_
- [HIGH] The diverter mechanic is only available on Premium and LE, not Pro — _Hardy states: 'this diverter like in my previous video this is actually like it's supposed to be what we were talking about with the shadow but it's only available on the premium and le the pro just has this mech that pulls down to stop a ball'_
- [HIGH] Zombie Yeti executed strong artwork on TMNT based on high-resolution images — _Hardy: 'after looking at the high res images of this game uh zombie yeti you did good' and 'the art looks great for this game'_
- [MEDIUM] The Turtle Van functions differently on Pro vs Premium/LE — _Hardy: 'it does not function the same way on the pro as it does on the premium le' but notes he needs to verify against the matrix_
- [HIGH] Hardy's earlier skepticism about the game's artwork was based on low-resolution image compression — _Hardy apologizes: 'if my previous video came off as bad as in it just looked horrible i do apologize uh this looks really good and like I was hoping I did state that I was hoping that it was the low res that was giving me the not sure nature'_

### Sentiment

**Positive** (0.82) — Strong reversal from skepticism to enthusiasm. Hardy publicly apologizes for initial criticism and praises both the artwork and mechanical depth, though gameplay verdict is pending.

### Signals

- **[community_signal]** Jack Danger and John Borg scheduled gameplay stream planned as formal reveal event with content creator collaboration, similar to prior Stern community engagement patterns. (confidence: high) — Hardy: 'Jack Danger is going to be streaming this more than likely with John Borg and stuff like that' scheduled for that evening
- **[design_philosophy]** Stern/Zombie Yeti emphasizes player control mechanics as differentiator; diverter placement on Premium/LE reflects design priority on interactive playfield management over cosmetic differentiation. (confidence: medium) — Hardy's analysis: 'i'm a sucker for games that put more control in the hands of the player' in context of Premium preference; diverter described as 'pretty damn cool' and 'fully functional' control mechanic
- **[market_signal]** Stern released 76 high-resolution official images alongside feature matrix, enabling detailed pre-purchase comparison of Pro/Premium/LE variants. Media dump strategy supports informed purchasing decisions. (confidence: high) — Hardy: 'There's like 76 of these images guys' and 'we have all the high res images of this game' from 'stern's website and or facebook page'; images detailed enough to reveal individual playfield dirt particles
- **[product_strategy]** TMNT explicitly designed in three tiers with strategic feature distribution: Pro lacks diverter mechanic and Turtle Van functionality, limited to 6-ball multiball; Premium/LE feature full diverter control and 8-ball multiball. Pro is mechanically stripped compared to higher tiers. (confidence: high) — Hardy directly compares matrix: 'you're missing not just one but like three different types of mechs on this game' for Pro; specific multiball counts and diverter exclusivity confirmed from official matrix
- **[sentiment_shift]** Cary Hardy's publicly documented reversal from initial skepticism (leaked images video) to strong approval based on official hi-res assets. Signals image compression artifacts heavily influenced prior negative assessment. (confidence: high) — Hardy: 'I'm definitely not above apologizing or admitting when I'm wrong' and 'if my previous video came off as bad... I do apologize uh this looks really good'; explicitly attributes prior concern to 'low res that was giving me the not sure nature'

## Transcript

I'm definitely not above apologizing or admitting when I'm wrong and that's something that I'm going to have to do in this video what's up guys and welcome back to my channel where I talk and do everything thing pinball. So if that sounds interesting to you then hit that subscribe button down below. So merely seven hours after I upload my leaked images video to YouTube we now have pretty much all the information that anyone would ever need for the new Turtles games including the matrix which shows what games have and don't have for the particular models. This is gonna have to be a short video guys because honestly i do not have the time to divulge all the information here i've got my kids here and we're also going to be having this stream tonight with jack danger showing us the game in all of its glory so there's no point in me going through the game entirely but i do want to point out that we have all the high-res images of this game let me get it over here so you actually see it but we have all the high res images of this game and i need to say that after looking at the high res images of this game uh zombie yeti you did good um so if my previous video came off as bad as in it just looked horrible i do apologize uh this looks really good and like I was hoping I did state that I was hoping that it was the low res that was giving me the not sure nature of the game But with the high res images of how the game would look as if being right in front of it this does look a hell of a lot better and it looks great. So let me just go ahead and state that, that the art looks great for this game. so going back to the game this is more images we'll just go through these kind of quick by all means if you want these images they are available on stern's website and or facebook page uh so a couple of things that i the thing is these pictures these images are so high res and the video was so high res that I saw every dirt particle on the damn play field so that was how high res the images were and something I need to note is that the pro is definitely stripped down in comparison to the premium and le you're missing not just one but like three different types of mechs on this game I want to say that even the turtle van here I'll have to look at the matrix again but evidently it does not function the same way on the pro as it does on the premium le it's up to an eight ball multiball in this game for the premium and le and only a six ball multiball for pro now this diverter like in my previous video this is actually like it's supposed to be what we were talking about with the shadow but it's only available on the premium and le the pro just has this mech that pulls down to stop a ball in the middle of the track to probably lock it for multiball or something like that this actually has a fully functional diverter that you control which is pretty damn cool and we gonna go through some more images here so I think the turtle van can hold like two ball multiball this crane bounces up and down with this pop bumper so that's pretty cool it lights up as well the layer is how I expected it to be I don't know the full workings of the code and everything going behind there but yes you do launch a ball behind there by lifting your flipper up so i was right on that do and i guess that is all the images or okay i was gonna say and uh yep and the way these ramps work i was completely wrong about that too for some whatever reason this ramp that feeds from the upper flipper is what feeds this wire form oh my god my phone's still still blown up yes i'm working on it the um but yeah so this ramp feeds this wire form and then i still am not getting a good visual on where the ball goes after you launch it but i will get to see all that tonight yeah i i love the way that he's drawn april um and there's other pictures that you could see of her yeah like this is an image I think you get a good close-up visual on her for the video but this looks really good yep and it's one of those things where I really am I really am honestly debating it we'll see what the game plays like tonight but the game looks fully loaded but if I was to get one it would be the premium I'm not going all out with an le but it would be premium because of all the extra the max involved in the diverter on that I a I a sucker for games that put more control in the hands of the player Makes the game more interesting. And yeah, we still don't know the, uh, what the display is going to look like. And that was another thing that I needed to point out that I was gladfully wrong on was the display. I thought it was some sort of character in the bottom left hand corner of the screen. Turns out it was just a potted plant. I'm like okay good. I didn't know what character that was. There's like 76 of these images guys. This game's got a lot in it. But yeah there's no sense in me going through all these images right here. But yeah there's the close up of more of April and everything. I like the way that it's done. I'm happy with this. Very happy. Now it's just a matter of how the game plays. So that is something that we're going to see tonight. Jack Danger is going to be streaming this more than likely with John Borg and stuff like that. So hopefully the game plays as well as it looks. That is yet to be seen. But until then guys, I guess tomorrow evening more than likely is going to be the time frame for me of when I'm going to be able to discuss the gameplay and stuff like that further. So until then next time guys, peace out. Thank you.
