## Transcript

Oh my god. Are you kidding me? What's up guys? Welcome back to my channel where I talk and do everything pinball. So if that sounds interesting to you then hit that subscribe button down below. The day is getting closer to when I will be getting my TMNT. When that day is, I don't know. I honestly do not know what day that is going to be. As of right now, the only information I have is that it's looking like it's going to be the beginning of August. Maybe the first week of August is what I'm being told as of right now. Stern is definitely huffing and puffing, trying to get these things out as fast as they can. Distributors are waiting to get their machines out so they can get them out to their customers. So trust me, distributors are hounding Stern to get these things out faster because they are selling like hotcakes. The word is out that this machine is definitely a hit. And due to the fact that it's what it seems like it's going to be is a machine that I am glad that I own, I decided to start, you know, getting curious about things that I'm going to be doing to my machine. And one of those things is powder coating. and i have seen a lot of people do powder coating for this game and i want to say over 97 percent of people that have done powder coating to their games have done the color green now and when i see this nothing bad about it i mean like yeah okay green uh not all shades of green have been to my taste with that being said I'm like what about something different guys what about something a little bit out of the normal or something that is just I don't know a lot of the times when I do certain things it's because I want it to be a little bit different or not like everybody else's and sometimes that could be a good thing sometimes that could be a bad thing that's why I'm going to make this video to put out these images to you so that way I can get feedback from each of you So I messaged my brother and I was like, hey, I'm currently at work, but I have an idea about powder coating for my future game. And I was kind of curious if you could mock up some images for me so that way I could get a better idea. Because that's what I typically like to do when it comes to powder coating is that I'll throw them into Photoshop and just kind of mess with colors to get a better idea how the art's going to contrast with the powder coating. Now, typically my games, I like to have that bit of contrast so that way it makes it more pop. And that's why I lean towards green not being such of a good way to go because there's already a surplus amount of green on this game as it is, particularly the pro. So let me show you these versions of the machine now. And here you have it. These are the colors that I'm putting out there for everyone to choose which one they like best. As you can see, we have something that leans more towards the color for like the turtle van. It's got more of the yellow. It's even got a green coin door with the green puller right here This was actually a color that at first I was leaning towards Now I can already tell probably a lot of you as well as people that I talked to look at this and they start saying no. Okay and here's let me zoom in so you guys can get a better look at these machines as we go across. Get the sizing just right. All right can I scroll over? Yes, okay. So when it comes to these colors, we have the, I'm going to call this the Turtle Van Yellow. Then you have your Donatello edition, Michelangelo edition, Raphael, and Leonardo. All the different colors of the turtles going like so. now this is a little bit up different because the polar may or may not get powder coated stuff like that but this gives you a good idea of the color contrast with the different color of t molding to go along with it now typically all these tmnt games have green t molding whereas this would also be changed now i'm going to go ahead and tell you which one i prefer and i'll honestly lean in towards purple the donatello edition is one that i'm liking the best and this is what i was looking at going you know what uh i like that that looks like it goes pretty well with the game so i have even contacted a lot of fellow people in this hobby including artists of this hobby and they also agree that purple tends to be the one that they like the most. Now, this is the good thing about this, guys, is that, you know, obviously this is very subjective information. People are going to look at orange and go, yeah, that's the way to go. People are going to look at red and so on and so forth. But all I'm saying, as of right now, purple is in the lead for being the go-to color for this game on the pro model artwork, at least. so that is one that i was like you know what maybe it's purple maybe it's purple that's what i'm gonna do so as i was all like yeah i'm gonna make purple and then i'm gonna make it you know have it powder coated a certain way to where it stands out even more and mine's gonna look so great and in my head that is and uh then i get a message just recently and uh from rb flip out of france This was just recently posted up, and yeah. So I get messaged this. These are the images that I have received showing off their Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles out of France from RB Flip. This powder coating and artwork that is on their armor. So let me go through these images. and this also includes a topper now let that let this be noted that this is not the stern the official stern topper guys this is more than likely i say more than likely because it they have not revealed what the topper for this game is going to be yet this is more than likely i'm not even sure if it 3d printed or what but they have made this topper themselves for this game And honestly this looks good I have no problem with this topper if stern was to go hey here our topper for tmnt and all it does is light up and the thing is if all this thing did was just illuminate like the letters just lit up and it was like lit all the time i would be perfectly content with that but just don't charge me 600 dollars for it but just that right there no mechanical or programming or anything like that just a simple logo like that would be sufficient i would be fine with that and you would sell this shit out of them here is some more images of this machine let me zoom in a little bit if i can without it going crazy on me but with the t-molding and the artwork as well as see this is what I'm liking about what they've done with this is the the brushings to make it very similar to what Yeti has done with the art style on the cabinet with the little hints of black and shadowing effects on the armor that really is what brings me out to where this is my favorite green version so far as from what they've done with this this looks great and here we have an image of the lockdown bar with that Leonardo on this side and you have Donatello staff right here and you have Donatello on this side of the lockdown bar it's another angle of the topper right here I can't really see how they've done this if it in fact has been 3d printed or what but you can see the platform right here and this looks like a power cable up here to illuminate this that's what it looks like to me then in case I haven't already said it then you have Leonardo's sword right here is katana but yeah I just got this sent to me and they want me to take a look at it and I looked at it and by all means this is without a doubt my favorite green version for this game this looks amazing it's one of those things where I looked at it and I'm not sure if I got this on here and I let me get this right here this is an above view of what this game looks like there's that view right there to give you an idea of what it would look like just being right directly in front of it just the the shades of black on the armor really adds to it so by all means this is my favorite powder coating for this game that i have seen to date um what when i look at this this gives me further ideas on what i want to do with mine and uh if i was going to do green i would want it to be this kind of green because that green really matches the color of greens that are on the cabinet and the shadowing effects really gives it that really nice signature just that looks really good with the game bravo to rb flip i will put a link in the description down below man this is what my okay that was weird to their facebook page for you to be able to check out this machine and the images yourself they have evidently a lot of other projects in the making they even have a goal to get their getaway to look as good as mine if not better and uh with the way this turtles looks, I have no doubt that you had the capabilities of getting your getaway looking as good, if not better, than what mine looks like. By all means, do so. I'm all up for you guys hot-rodding your machines out. It's not a competition. Okay, maybe a little bit. But that's the thing, is that I have met many of my friends in this hobby via, due to the fact that we do things like these to our machines. That's why a good buddy of mine, Lonnie, he's a good buddy of mine. He has a Back to the Future like I used to have. And the reason why we became so close friends is because I first met him setting up his Back to the Future. And it was immaculate and put mine to complete shame. I was like, oh my god. I was like, you have no idea how much I hate you right now kind of thing. But we've been buddies ever since. So that's a good thing. But I really wanted to get your guys input on powder coating for my upcoming Turtles game whenever I get it here. So let's look at the images one more time. So this is the Turtle Van version. Then these were basically the ones that were the most liked by people, the Michelangelo and the Purple so far. and then of course you have them all lined up let me zoom in and go through them again for everybody turtle van your purple michelangelo rafael and leonardo now obviously these aren't like legit images of what they would look like in real life this has been photoshopped by my brother so uh thing is he's got a template set up to where he can easily change this to whatever color he wants to with ease so it makes potential work for machines on what i wonder what machines would look like with this particular powder coating color what they could look like to give me a better visual on if it would be good or bad so by all means guys this is what i wanted to put out there to all you and get your feedback so by all means leave me a comment down below on which color you think will look best if you like what you've seen here give me the thumbs up and if you haven't already hit that subscribe button down below that way you can be notified on whenever I upload content for your viewing pleasure until next time guys peace out Thank you.
