## Transcript

What's up guys? We're on the second episode of Bugging Out. I think that's what we're actually calling it now. But we're doing some 1.06 code today. We have a ton of talking points to go over. But yeah, we're just going to get started into it. We're hanging out with the two Lukes here. They'll both talk about themselves at some point, I'm sure. But yeah, 1.06. So we've spent literally the last entire week bug testing. and just a straight week of nothing but trying to find bugs and squash them. Trying to break the game. Yeah. And if there's any way to really test the game and break it, it's put a camera on it and try and publish it as the company. So that is how the best way to find bugs. Good way to make you a worse player. Yeah. Play worse, find bugs, put a camera on it. Nice. So that's what we're doing. But, yeah. So can you scroll left for me so you can show them Dada and... Dada. Yeah, so Dada and... Dada. And you see Pig Mom there has also been added in. So Dada is a selectable mode in the menu now. You do have to beat or visit another mode to get to him. But yeah, he's selectable in the menu now. And there will be a second expert mode coming to that. Yeah, Dada's the expert mode. There will be another expert mode coming. I'm working on that now. Yes. That'll be Luke Peters' first mode in a game. Can I drop a hint? Yeah, absolutely. So I think... I don't want to reveal too much, but the hint is it is one of the kaiju monsters that is on the game in some fashion. So artwork from this monster is on the game already. I won't say whether it's playfield plastic, side art, but yeah, there's not. Well, one, two, three, four, five. I think there's five more that are on there, so it throws down a little bit. But the rules will very much tie into that monster's episode. I'm very excited about it. But, anyway, so a couple things they might not have seen right away is the full screen clips. We haven't talked about it. Yeah, it's something with the full screen clips. Oh, yeah. There you go. Look at that. It's full screen. So that's the other thing I've been spending a lot of time on is reclipping a lot of our clips and adding a lot more new clips to this game that are all full screen. So we kind of, you know, obviously there's a lot of feedback that people would like to see more of these kaiju monsters, and they are coming to Ultraman. Heck yeah. It's always that top one. Something else that's really, really cool that we're working on, and I don't know if I'll give away too much of this or not, just talking about it, but we are working with some animators, a new company on Ultraman right now. It's a really cool studio. They've done some amazing work. They've got a lot of really cool stuff. We've got some previews for Ultraman coming. Yeah. But most importantly, we're getting a new control panel UI in Ultraman. So the clips can be bigger when it's not full screen like it is right now. But yeah, new UI, new animations coming to Ultraman in general. So I think those are pretty exciting. Two of the biggest or most requested things we saw was full screen clips and larger UI, new UI. New UI is going to be cool. I can't exactly promise how quickly that gets implemented, as I know it's going to be pretty tasking to get all of that out and the new stuff in. But it's definitely going to be a major focus on the upcoming updates. So the other thing that I think I'm kind of excited about seeing in this game is we've actually been putting in some Japanese text into the game. So you'll see your monsters come up and things like jackpot in both English and Japanese. It's kind of really cool. If Luke would hit a jackpot, he'd see it. I'm working on it. He hit one. He hit one. There it is. Jackpot! Isn't that badass? But yeah, this next upcoming update, the major thing we're going to be working on is revisiting all the old pigmon modes. All the pigmon modes. They feel old. Yeah. And the multi-balls. We're going to be reworking those, trying to make them better overall. And we're also going to be getting into the first divisor mode. Oh, yeah. overall. And we're also going to be getting in with first Blizzard mode. We're spoiling things for the next update. Can I talk about combos? Yeah, absolutely. So, one of the things I've been working on is, especially with Ultraman, is developing an alternate gameplay strategy. So not just doing the Pikmin modes, but combos are going to be implemented in a new way. A lot of full screen clips of some practical effects from Ultraman. Ultraman has these great explosions where they blew up these miniature models. And you'll be seeing a lot of those if you are hitting combos. And they will contribute to your scoring in a very meaningful way. Super jackpot slip! It's in the middle! Oh, I got him! Hit it! Got him! Shoot both of them for the jackpot. Oh, come on! He's right there. He's right there. Oh, he's the bottom one. He's right there. So I'm not sure everyone realizes this, but the inserts that are right through the middle of the playfield, that kind of tracks your progress of these multi-balls. So you can see he's doing pretty well. He's completed ball-time one, ball-time two, and ball-time three right there. Yeah, so now they are all red, which is exactly what you want to see. I lost my add-on ball. Yeah, there you go. Still got to get up there and cross that around on my shoot phone. Here we go. My time. My time will shine. So I'm going to go over a little bit. No! I want to get to Pigmon multiball and Jack-o'-lantern multiball. So yeah, it's a new multiball that came to both games. And ultimately it is Pigmon multiball. And ultimately it is Jack-o'-lantern multiball. Choke the red ball. I'll go next since you're talking. So you'll definitely want to get to that in Halloween so you can hear that song. In Ultraman, it actually features a song from a different Ultraman series, from Ultraman Leo. And it's the title tune to that, but it sounds awesome in this game. Super fun disco song. But the way you get to it, you have to visit three pigmon modes. So once you've visited three, it should be available at the Scoop. You can also beat them. It doesn't matter. You just have to do one or the other. just get through three of them, and you can get to Pigman multiball. And then for Pigman multiball, the center drop target's come up, you clear those, it lights jackpots everywhere on your playfield pretty much. Once you've plugged all those, there's a super jackpot hurry up that'll be strobing back and forth. There's also an atom ball at the left of the ball's hand, and both upper playfields are accessible. The blinking white lights are giving us a chance. The reason you're jetting your big time is... Show us how it's done. All right, we're going to just try to get to that mode. So I was playing my favorite mode, just playing it very poorly. Daddy! Get in there. See, that's a really tricky shot. Oh, what do I feel? I just showed Xenoblade, but you can actually show them how to play it. So for Pestar, it's a roaming shot mode where you're trying to put out the fire before it gets all the way across the playfield. This is a really fun mode. I'll throw a couple shots up that center ramp to qualify that. So as we revisit these for future updates, we are also going to be reviewing these modes and how they score. One of the things I think that we're going to be implementing is the scoring. We'll be for sure using this because Luke is content with the team on this one. But the scoring will be basically the quicker you hit the hurries or the rolling shot, the more points you'll be winning. For sure. Which I'm kind of excited to see. Well, I'm just going to leave after that performance. Yeah. We'll just let Luke... Luke is our only opportunity to, uh, pigment ball. What a sore loser. It's just the loops. We got this. I would say we could, uh, play pinball for the, uh, for the NAMM spooky loop, but, uh, you've got a commanding lead right now. I think this game is exactly the time that we should do that. Maybe we'll do it on Halloween. Be careful or you'll lose your life. Oh, come back, Adam. So we haven't been mentioning one of the things that I haven't seen a lot of talk on on other screens is collecting Spacio. I learned that from you. So in this game, you learned that from me, yeah, is collecting Spacio. So as we complete drop targets and as we complete modes, we're going to be lighting our stand-up targets for Spacio. and collecting those allows us to buy things in the Spacium store, such as ball save time, such as extra balls, things like that. So it is important to focus on that. Have you guys gone through the upcoming first Wizard Mode 1 or 2 of the game? Yeah, we did mention that that will be coming in Ultraman. It is Zetan, and the way you get to it is you get the super jackpot in each of the multiballs. so you get Super Jackpot in Ball 10, Ben Bar, and Jiras. You're having an unusually bad time. Yeah. So you get the Super Jackpot in each of those, and that will be the seven-ball lock mode. If you know, Zeton is the last villain in Ultraman of the original series. Hey, I don't think it's uncatchable, though. You can bring it all back on Ball 3. Yes. That's what I'm doing is saving everything for ball three. I've seen people who are not United States champs today. We were going to do one three player game for this video but we might have to do two. The hungry are again the worst to play. It is lunch time isn't it? Yes. I was thinking about a good sheet of sardines and crackers. Oh, that's a new... Oh my gosh. Nice. Iowa State champ, people. Iowa State champ. So, I think what we're learning is pinball is hard in more ways than one. But we'll get better. I promise you we'll get better. In more ways than one. All right, Luke. Let's see something. We're gonna start a mode, I think. So right now, there are our space am targets are lit, so three of them are lit right now. It's always randomized, too. So there are several things in this game that are 100% truly random. That's one. The Dada mode, when we're trying to reveal Dada, that's 100% random, so it can be, you know, literally anywhere on the playfield. Corwin, sit in there. Buy some points. extending his lead, but was it enough? Donna. I haven't gotten to play this. You can show off, Donna. This is going to be a little pop-up. We're watching for the blue shot that blinks here. So again, this is what I was talking about. 100% rain. That could be any shot on the game where we have to reveal Donna before we can actually do any damage. Oh, that bug is still in this one. Oh, so we are bug squashing and we mentioned Dada mode has a bug in the right lifter that will be fixed. Yeah, you won't see that. That will someday get to you. Is that the right lifter bug? Yes. Yeah, that will be fixed. There we go. That smells like exactly what it is. Sardines and sardines. Nothing makes you play better than smelling someone eating sardines right next to you. Woo! It is pungent in here. It is the equivalent of microwaving fish. I love those things. I was going to talk about that! Which Corwin has been known to do in the spooky office as well. Yeah, I didn't know until this week, but that was some kind of unwritten rule. Just taboo, do not have my glory. Oh! Yeah, that's my bad. Just destroyed. I think we might have to add to that. Do not use our codes in a super small area. I just can't not offend people with my food lately. You can have some as well. No, I'm not. So you watch, I'm going to eat those. It's going to be like Popeye. All of a sudden my playing ability is just going to go through the roof. I'm just going to toss it out there. It can't be much worse than we've been playing. That's a fair point. Yeah, no, I learned a very valuable lesson about microwaving cod at work. Apparently you're not supposed to do that. Things you learn. So, Internet, let us know, is it okay to microwave cod in a small office space? Small office space? It's a giant building now. A giant factory. That said, the cod radiated through, not one, but two buildings. I didn't know we were going to be discussing this. Anyway, back to code talk. How about I do something really cool, and then we can talk about it? You're doing it. Oh, you are losing my life. I was trying to get some health. I'm only down one bar of health, though, so not dire. But there is a timer now with... Oh, I lost that. Yeah, a lot of people... A lot of people definitely having reviews saying they kind of get stuck in certain areas for too long. So it'd be nice if it at least timed out. So that's what we did. There is a timer on Juras and the house in Halloween now. So if you don't make enough progress on those as you're going, it will time out. The timer pauses as you're shooting those shots, but it's on a minute. It doesn't give me enough time. No? No. In the future, something I really, really want to do for this mode is light. So right now, you have the right spinner and left spinner both damage Juras. I'd really like some shots in the base playfields or the asylum playfield that also damage Duras, but they increase the amount of damage that the spinners do, so that's a little easier to get through the mode, but also have more things to hit. Whoa, let's go. Alright, we need to complete a crossing shot on the upper playfield. Once you do that, two of your jackpots will stack with the movie I'm going to play. So I purposely did select Ragon as my mode because I knew that they would stack perfectly with Chiras. So the same shots that are needed to play for... The only time I can get it up to the middle playfield consistently is when I'm trying to shoot for the center rail. Here it is. Here it is! Yes! Ball! All right, so. These are full screen clips. And I want to assure everyone that is not Godzilla. I mean, it was a Godzilla suit that he actually was wearing. But it's not Godzilla. Let's be clear. Oh, something else some people were asking about, too. Who is the signature? So the signature is Ben Feruya. He was the suit actor that played Ultraman in the series. He wasn't the guy that played Iata, the Science Patrol member. He was the suit actor in the suit of Ultraman. So the guy is literally Ultraman. Can you talk about what I'm trying to do in this mode so I can try to do it while... He's trying to collect all the jackpots that also combine with Ragone so that he beats two modes for one, basically. But with the super jackpot specifically, what am I trying to do? Super jackpot. So as you're collecting jackpots in the base playfield, they collect there, but they also increase your super jackpot value as well as the spinners on that upper playfield. So every jackpot he collects increases the super jackpot at that crossover bridge on the top shot. And when you shoot the super jackpot, it relights all your other jackpots as well. Oh, come on! Failed! Alright, and I didn't even make much progress on my mode. I only made the two ramp shots. Still have the Orbits to go. Bummer. You hate to see it. Here it is. Massive comeback. Pigmon multiball. Sardines are kicking in. Sardines are kicking in. Yes, they are kicking in. I like it. It woke me up. Yeah? You got to hit those before you get up to your marker. I can't believe you brought in sardines into the stream and thought, oh, they'll just ignore it. They won't talk about that. He likes sardines. I love them. I figured he'd eat them with me. It's about smelling them. My nose doesn't work, so. Alright, ping my multiball, that's what we're going for. I just want you to have a bad game, so people can see it's actually possible for you to have a bad game. I haven't seen me have a good one yet. That's true. I thought last stream you did pretty well. I didn't think it was very good. No? Okay. It's not like I was a champion level, but... I would say average at best. Look! Look at the full screen in English or Japanese text. It's good light show too. Who does those? There we go. Center it. Oh, even in this mode, it has my favorite... Oh, you got the right. ...left orbit before it goes right on the right side. Oh! Let's see a backhand of the orbit. Oh, sorry. I'll do better. Come on, it's there. Sardines! There! So, I think with the orbits, especially the left orbit in particular, if you're struggling shooting it from the right flipper, try backhanding it from the left flipper. I do find, at least for me, it's a little easier that way. Hmm. That was a really tense moment. Thanks. Oh! It's so scary. There you go. Get to headquarters now. Shoot her all the way up to the headquarters. I don't want to finish this moment. I don't want to get pig-mined. That's why we're here today. I thought we were here just for the food. For the sardines and chicken and biscuits. Not really hitting anything. Not that mean, David. I want to see a finishing shot on this mode. So another thing I think we have in the works would be turning these final shots into a hurry up. Yes, so yeah exactly it's like that mode isn't considered beat until now at that point that was beating that mode In the future. I would like to see it be that the most beaten once you've completed the shots on the plate and then Hurry up Is Corwin going to have the low score? I think I did. I think I did. Impossible. We are saving this footage forever. Cherish it. Let's go right into another game. All right. Yeah, absolutely. Let me give you one second on just this report. Let's get started. Here we go. All right. We are back, and we are going to play better. We're going to show off some big mon multiball. We gotta do better than last time. It can't be a whole lot worse. Probably better. Spoiler alert. You know we're gonna get it. Because if we didn't, you wouldn't be seeing this movie. I'm not sure that's true. I don't know. I feel like we have to use that because you had the lowest score. Yeah, there's not too many games that I win. Oof. It's your starter mode anyway. That shot is so fast. Who are we going to play? Good Motor. Red King we haven't played. Yeah, Red King. Let's do Red King. Spoiler alert. Kigmon does not have a good time in the Red King episode. No, he doesn't. Killed him twice? They kill him twice in one show, so... That is really disingenuous. Nice, Blood Frenzel. Get another one. How about another one? Oh, there we go. So the way the scoring on this actually works, so the way you damage Jiras is the right spinner lowers his health 5% per spin. per spin, and I believe the left spinner damages him 10% per spin. You might be less than that now. You are going to buff that as well, right? Yeah, that's what we were talking about earlier with having other shots that damage you and also increase your damage on the side of the ice. I'm just struggling getting across that balcony right now. I don't know why. That's all my problem is. So Luke Pierce, why don't you tell people some more of the things you've kind of been learning. What is surprisingly easy and what is surprisingly difficult about doing in-house? Surprisingly, because you're on your second or third month now. Yeah, I think I've been here close to two months now. You started the week before Christmas. That's when it was. I wouldn't say anything is surprisingly easy. But, you know, I think you learn as you go, right? So I am certainly, as clearing games, you start to see similar things. There we go And not everything is new so that great Again I want to assure everyone this is not Godzilla Okay Licensing. So I think licensing is more of a challenge than I think anyone would possibly imagine. But, you know, usually a lot of things come down to will the licensor allow it, are they allowing it, and just getting approval. What licensors have we been talking to about doing an answer? Yeah, let's just go through all the future of having licensors. Every student. But I will say, I did get to reach out to my first licensor today, which was very exciting. So we'll see. More than likely, Luke Peters, the new Yachting Pinball Licensor. What? Still pinball? It's going to be amazing. It's all about infomercials. Are we still working on my Armageddon dream? Dream theme? Dream theme? I'm going to make a decent team. It's just one hurry up. The whole game is one hurry up. It's like a ten hour hurry up. I don't think anybody wants to see that. Maybe. Steve Buscemi. I love that game. Yeah. We should get Steve Buscemi to call us in the game someday. I was going to say Big Lebowski, but it's already taken, huh? Come on! Come on! Yes! There you go. I haven't seen too many in a while, but I think we have a chance to play one more. It's always the top scoop. Oh! Oh, I thought I could shoot it. Someone tell Fawzi we need to put a few extra seconds. Yeah, a little delay there. That code will for sure change. We can slow that down. Really, we just change games until we are good at them? Yeah. Like, whatever makes me lose today is never going to happen in the actual show. I can take it up. So that is not two Ultramen on the screen. One is an imposter. Can you tell which one? Just the top one. I like how as soon as you start shooting for it, you just can't get it. So one of the things I would say, like coding is always hard, right? I mean, having an idea is 1% of the process, and then implementing... Oh! I thought I saw it blinked on! Nice! Got it, don't worry about it. Oh no! No! Sorry, bud. What happens when you shoot those and you hit it just right, it rolls up and catches the other Octo. I've been cheated. I'm going to go second. You're going to go second? Yeah. Third didn't suit me very well. Third didn't suit me well. I don't know why this is called Bugging Out. There's way more Lukes than there is... I agree. Yeah. Yeah. We can change... If we beat him another game... We may be able to change the name. Why don't you two go back to fighting over Luke's and not Buck's? Yeah, we're actually going to do... I think we should start a thread and do a poll. That's where it should be. The fan favorite is Spookula 2. Too fast, too curious. You like that name. That's just my favorite. He's not a fan favorite, but he's the only person who talks about it every day. No, there's two of us. There's two of us. Okay. At least one person who agrees with me. Probably. He's going to keep talking about it until it happens. It's going to catch on. Give it time. No. If you see me at a show, I usually go by Luke. Or Luke. I've actually never worked with or went to school with another Luke, so this is a first for me. I have actually. I believe it. I think it's not that uncommon of a name, but this has never happened. And now it's awkward in the office because people will be like, Luke! And we both look so awkward. But I was born a Luke. You were a Lucas. I was a Lucas, but everyone just started calling me. Like, they did this to me, and now I'm stuck. I don't know how to go back. I don't even answer the other... I don't even answer my real name. Lucas is your name when you're in trouble. Oh, man. I walk in, I'm like, Lucas! I'm just tired of being in trouble, man. If you could feed me a sardine while I play. That would be great. Hey, that would be great. You will get rewarded if you do good. You're like a seal. If you put up 50 million first ball. If you put up 50 million at all, I will feed you a sardine on screen. Yes. Oh, you dumb. Why'd you do that? So did you watch Ultraman before? I did not. Yeah. These guys carry that. Those guys. So I've since watched about 30-some episodes of Ultraman, so I'm working my way through the series. But the thing I didn't know is Ultraman was not the first of the series, so there's actually an Easter egg on the game. You want to talk about it? Or are you in a position where you have to focus? You sound like you got this. I do. So, Ultra Q was actually the original show, kind of like a Twilight Zone series, and there's a little Easter egg at our Mystery Q scoop that kind of plays homage to that. Homage? Homage must be French. Wife does know a thing or two about French. My wife is a French teacher. She's been a Spanish teacher as well. No, I did sit down and watch the Woo episode the other day. The Woo! The Mountain Ghost. The Mountain Ghost. Snow Ghost. It's going to be nothing but Woo from here on out. We're going to have a whole load. Go look it up, the Woo. We're going to have a whole load. It's the only episode, I think, with a pinball machine in the episode. If you think we play bad, watch that five seconds of that episode. We could ask the internet to go watch Ultraman and tell us what episodes they'd like to see implemented in the game. All of them. All of them. All of them. All 40. How many are there? 40. I think 40. Yeah, it's right around 40. 38 or 9. It's a lot. It's right around there. I'm going to save this because I really like getting ball saved. Extra ball is going to be worth 12, not 25. I think it's changed on Halloween already. It is. We need to update that. By tomorrow it will be changed on this one. Yes. This will help tremendously. It's the inflation, man. Spacey inflation. Out of control. Out of control. Well, I guess we do know now the rate of blood to spaceium. That's true. Two spaceium per blood. The currency is different. So if you travel from Japan to America, you can trade your spaceium for blood. We told you guys these games would be different. And see? No. You know, appropriate behavior. Right over the stairs. Man. Naughty, naughty. Oh man. Borat pinball. Just, uh, feels just disingenuous to slap you around like this. Oh, damn. Dude, you do a good game. Good game. All right, let's go. I'll make up for it. Yeah, we're not gonna be showing any footage where Corwin beats me. More sardines is the answer. More sardines is the answer. Already got that one. Oh, it's still. Oh, the focus. Oh, they broke it. Hey, it's Dylan. It's Dylan. That's what I would got. We are still on ball one of this game if Dylan wants in. Should we put, add Dylan to the team? Oh, can we still add him? I think we can. Add him in. We can draw ball one, right? I don't know. Oh, man, we can get Dylan in. Dylan? Yeah, that actually wasn't scripted. I could have gotten him. So this is Dylan. Here, get in the hand. Hello. He's actually one of our newest programmer hires. He's been working on our next game, actually, for a couple months now. We're trying to not allow you to play what it is on the screen. What boat haven't we shown off? Pester? Yeah, Pester. I think Panicure. I love the motor-tackles. Dylan, I'm about to give my dogs a heart attack. Yeah, he just told everyone our next team right away as soon as he got the door. It's going well. I'm winning, Corwin's losing. We're going to have to see if we can get a win or a draw. Corbin's losing. He's been losing for a while now. Won one tournament. Alright, where is Pestar? I think I'm going to wait one more click until Pestar is at the center ramp and then missing. You are getting to be about that age where you get washed up. Dang it! Why'd you guys fire me? I think I never played pinball before. I'm capable of having good games, I promise. So Dylan, do you want to talk while playing, or do you want us to talk? I'm going to play a lot worse if you want to talk while I play. It's like I'm still waking up. This guy is a new coder at Spooky Pinball. Yeah, I told him. Oh, he did? Yeah, I did tell him. I wasn't listening. I was playing. I was playing. That gets me too. Our hero. You can come on in here too. The two newest members of the team. Oh, oh, sorry. This is closer to how you normally play. No. Don't tell people that. Don't tell them. Challenge them to dollar games at shows. Yeah. Speaking of shows, we're going to be coming to a lot of shows. We're going to keep a lot of dollars. In a very short period of time. We're getting into show season. So we've got a busy, busy schedule. We're going to have, like, seven-year-old kids showing up and just shaking all the dollars out of me at every show. It's very, very true. Is dollar game legalized gambling? I don't know. I think it's safe enough to talk about. But after watching these videos, people are going to be like, yeah, I can take it. So, my daughter, one of my daughters, so I have twin daughters, but one of them actually got up to the rank of 30-something in Iowa. Really? Yeah, a couple couple years ago. I mean it doesn't take a whole lot because there's not a ton of pinball tournaments in Iowa but the location we're in it we're kind of in the tri-state area Wisconsin, Illinois, Iowa so we're able to play in a lot of different tournaments which is kind of cool. The goal here is going to be to get ball to the goal if we can. I guess I could try to grab the... There we go. Sometimes I can do this in one, sometimes I can do it in ten. It just depends on the day. So I think this is actually new for this code update. So it used to be you'd be locked actually into the mode a little bit earlier. Right now you are not locked into a mode. Oh! I should have had it. But if you were to be able to start the Bemular Multiball, this would be a perfect mode to stack it with too, because it would mean all of the stand-up targets are lit for jackpots and the motivation. Yeah man, just rub it in. If... Don't worry, he scared the poop out of my dog. No kidding! He scares me sometimes too. This one he can't time out of. It's good for people like me. It's a very sick hit. Are you going to time that one up? I wouldn't stop. I think we should make the shots a little easier. Really the only difficult part is the right orbit. Right orbit is a challenge. I actually find when I aim for something else, I just hit it. My goal here is to avoid the one target that I need to hit for as long as possible. That way I can drain before I hit a goal. Luke's gonna start yelling out our next title so we can't use the footage. We're gonna have to edit this out. I don't see another way. I just don't. You are winning. I can never tell when he's serious. It might help to point out that he is winning. Yeah, I would never edit out. What are you planning on doing with that center ramp? You know, I'm shooting for the right ramp. You're really nailing it. Pro tip, if you aim for the right orbit, you get anything on either side of what you're actually shooting. That was a happy accident, though. It was. Bob Ross pinball. Was I not supposed to spoil it? He's dumb. I think you should have Big Mon ready. Ready? I think so. I couldn't see him in those pants. All right. You're next. I better slap Luke around a little bit now. I don't know, man. It's looking bad for you. Do something about it. So it begins. A super secret skill shot. Oh, you're going to finish that just from a point? Yeah. Nope, that was the same target. It's impossible. It's okay, we want to stack possible to hit. It's really easy to backhand on the target. You just can't do it when it's lit. When it's lit, it changes where the shot is. Yeah. That's what you mean. Also, when you're on stream, I hear that the outlanes and center drain become larger. 10% larger, I think that's what the camera has. Really? Yeah. Is that just the camera angle, or just the backhand? Oh! You're safe. We didn't want that. We didn't want that. What happened? Yeah man, you're engineering a comeback here. You don't deserve a ball save. Edit, no. Edit the ball save. You don't deserve that. Look at that target. It's impossible to hit. It's there. There you go. So I gotta do one more. I found you. Super exit, found it. Safe and sound. Up? Nope. I'm gonna at least job of keeping these alive. I'm just not getting to where I need to be. So Bemular, the modi is in right now. That's actually from episode one of Ultraman. Super exit! It's right there. Just takes a second. It's not giving me my ball save! I want that! Well you got too much ball save before. That's fair. I still don't like that as an answer though. So we're talking a little bit about the signature that's on the game earlier. So I assume that actor that played Ultraman went on to a long career in the WWF as a wrestler? Yes, created WWF. It's actually Vince McMahon in the suit, believe it or not. Is it really? Yeah. No. How far are you along here? Are you going to pick one of the creations? I don't think I've done very good for modes at the Scoop. Risky! Ta-da! Zambalong! Pestar! Swamp! Hester does have a lot of our cool practical effects that I was talking about for the combo system. So, kind of get some hints at what's coming for the combo system by looking at that mode. Or we can switch over to Jiras as our main user interface. Be careful, or you'll lose your life. Ah! Calm down, buddy! So sometimes you do need to use that drop target just to get the ball back under control, but it does hurt you. They looked pretty good when I was shooting them. I don't know what changed. Now, restoring health. Four more shots would bring you back to full health. We gotta collect our roaming shot there before it beats us up too much. I tried. Oh! Backhand. Backhand. Oh, I killed Rust. So I believe the pester mode is five roaming shots. I'm going to try to get the pester mode on. I'm going to try to get the pester mode on. I'm going to try to get the pester mode on. I'm going to try to get the pester mode on. So I believe the pester mode is five roaming shots. Heal Ultraman, heal! That's one. I'll take one. That's good, because that's all you got. If I could have grabbed the target on the way out, that would have been nice. There we go. Pestar's defeated. My mode doesn't seem to be timing out, though. It might be a bug. We'll get that sorted out. Black boy is young. Oh, God. It's always the one that gets me. It's like a slow, slow roll out of there. Ah. I've legitimately done more damage to Ultraman than to Giraffes, I think. Whose team am I on, really? Spend on, spend on! 30 seconds, not bad! Yeah. And a million. Kill him! Kill him! Kill him! Nice. Coming for you. I don't like it. Is this fall 3? No, for you it is. We're going to... Yes, we're actually... You can head out after this. Yeah, we're going to drain your office. Oh. It's a new rule that we came up with this week. It's something to do with microwaving fish. At work. Yeah, you only get to have two bulbs instead of three. It's a weird thing. Don't ask questions. No questions. You don't need to know all of them. Maybe because email's not work etiquette. Someone has to teach you something. I don't like that. I'll just take that. He has taken the lead. I'm going to make it all back and pick mine. True. The worst part is if I get 50 million, he can't even feed me a sardine because I'm eating it. Oh my. No. No. No. Hit it one more time. Oh, I did have a pigmon run. Okay, so I already did one before that. Sweet. All right. Let's get to pigmon multiball. I explained the rules earlier. I'm saying this like I'm guaranteed to hit the scoop and not drain. Let's get to pigmon multiball. I explained the rules. I kind of still mention it. Yeah. There we go. I love this light check. It represents the scream. Alright, let's see what we can inhabit. How many times have you heard that weird creature? We're unnecessarily cruel to him for no good reason. So where's the song that's actually from? So this theme is from Ultraman Leo, who was the fourth or fifth Ultraman in the series. Ultraman's kind of like Doctor Who, where there's different Ultramen. So yeah, this is from Ultraman Leo. So, my personal favorite Ultraman series is Ultraman Mabeus or Ultraman 7. I heard somebody have a really good comparison where the original it kind of like Star Trek where the original Ultraman is like the original Star Trek series I know a lot of people, Ultraman 7 is like next gen. I think that's a really good comparison. It's like they're both awesome in their own way, but Ultraman 7 is next gen. Alright, so we gotta hurry up. There it is, it's in the center. We just need it. The music could be a little bit harder, I don't think I got it. Clear some more. Ah! Alright. Well, that was some pig-mutt multiball for you at least. We got to see that come out. Well, somebody has to say something. We're so upset now. Oh. I'm told I can't spoil any future things, so I gotta keep them up. I can see the menu of pigmon is complete. Yeah, that's fine. I want something else. Let's do this one. There you go. Come on! Oh, I thought I could grab it on my way up there. Oh, I didn't realize I did all the multi-balls. Well done. I restarted that one. Right over it? That's a door to go. So why would you restart a multiball, Norman? In case you didn't get the super jackpot, so you can go back and pick it up. See, I told you. Sardines. Okraband. There is a hard hat. I deserve this. Now the pressure is lost. Since we've already shown off pigment ball day ball, it's going to relax. And maybe that'll produce different results. Nice. Corwin didn't do that his whole ball. Hey, hey, hey. I'm just trying to show off different things. Like how to dream? I'll play it my way, you play it your way. Oh, so Dylan, you should introduce yourself and talk about yourself a little bit to all the people. I did a little bit, I mean, I'm Spooky DJ, and I'm programming our upcoming game. That's pretty much all there is to know. You've got a few other skills too you've picked up working on. What were you working on before this? Ummm... He could tell you, but he'd have to kill you. Yeah. Yes, if you're ever trying to get our next title out of anyone, I would say Scoopy DJ is that person you're most likely to get it out of. Absolutely disgusting IPA beers. Like, whatever the grossest one is, that's the one you buy. Come on. Good porter. You just pump them for information. You might get something out of me if you give me a porter. Or a stout. Since we're asking for things, I will take a good scotch. I'll take orange juice. Why? I really like to hit that crossing shot. I feel like that's the turnaround point for this game. It is. Oh, no. It's not though. It is. I would like to show that I'm not terrible honestly. If I ever do good on a ball, they're going to edit it out. Oh, that's it. Cancel it. Luke's like, I'm no longer having fun. How are we in frame? Up. We're probably moving fast. in frame. Up. I'm probably moving back. Pretty far off from where we started, I think. I'm sure it's not driving anybody absolutely crazy. So Bob's suggestion. Set the games up the way you enjoy them. Build up that super a little bit. Also known as his trying to survive. But eventually we're going to go for the super jackpot at the top. All right, now we got it. Oh, we did forget to mention that, too. With the new production update, we won't be adding tilt-bombs to games anymore. We're just going to take them out. Oh, yeah. No more nice. We decided they're just not for us. We play better without them. We just don't think anyone needs them. I was like, I thought I hit a ball around that orbit. Just the correct. So the other nice thing about getting the super jackpot is it does light all your regular jackpots again. Yes! Nice. So it's one of the times you're thankful, very thankful, to have those balls in the subway system. Because you get a little bit of a breather when it's focused on the ball on the upper playfield. Nice. Not the playfield I need. Alright, let's collect some regular jackpots. So do you want to talk about why I cannot stack this right now with a mode? Oh yeah, we did remove the ability to start modes in the middle of multiball. It just keeps these a little bit more simple, more classic ruleset in a way. But you can still qualify them, so if he like shoots the orbits and resets his triple drops, you can still knock those down. I actually did have a mode running, I didn't realize it. I thought I did, because it was in Ragon, it switches from the Science Patrol arrows down to the Spacium Beam. I got a lot of work to do. Good start. Off to an excellent start. I'm putting so much fear into people now that they know that the person coding the next game can't play. He's really good at code, don't let his plan speak for that. Donna. Donna. Not ready. Let's do... Good lord. Roaming Shot's here. Donna. Roaming Shot is, uh, has gone. Has gone. Yeah, I realized that after I selected it. So as you've been working with us, Dylan, what was the most surprisingly challenging thing about pinball that you've had? Oh, pinball's easy. Everybody knows that. Oh, okay. I think everybody that does start to work in the pinball industry realizes this, that It's actually a lot more work than you realize to get a machine into existence. There's roadblocks at every single step. I mean, there's just a huge amount of effort that goes into the code, the art, the animations, the on-screen assets. Licensing is a whole beast all its own. Just in time. Just in time for what? To win this game? To blow it on your third ball so I can win. You know, I am feeling it. I don't have a game plan. I feel... See what comes. Let it flow. Look beyond what you see. We have pigman lit. That's my first question. Uh... don't start Femular. I know that. Where'd you go with your ball? It did the whole... Um... Yes, it is lit. It is lit. So put it in the skill set. Oh, you just... you don't even have to hit the... Let that ball... Pigmon! multiball again! Take two! Oh, so we're gonna... Oh, they're gonna kill him again? Twice in a game. Oh! Pigmon! No, pigmons were hard. I have a feeling of this actually. They were hard. Pigmons were hard. Can you stack another multiple with? No. OK, no. So in this game, any of the expert modes, and this will remain true in the future too, expert modes will always lock you out of everything else. It's part of their difficulty. You have to take it on, straight head on. Same with like, this is heavily like an expert multiple. You have to just . It's so hard to play all three levels. Keep playing, no matter the number. Still winning my jackpot. So those blinking white lights build this jackpot value. Right now, it's just kind of the overall jackpot value that it builds in the future. The different lights will build different jackpot values. Yeah, we're going to go in separately on all three levels, correct? Yes. That's awesome. Or something like that, yeah. Oh, no! Big one! Big one! Oh. All right. Hey, heck yeah. Let's get something else going here. I didn't put up the points I needed to put up in that. Those targets are so big. I shouldn't talk. I shouldn't talk. I'm so happy you got to that multiball, though. Alright. Yup. Nice. Yup. That's what we want. Nice. I still haven't used that one time way I wanted to fun fact about Luke Peters, spooky Luke Peters alright, good drink Okay, next player. As long as nobody catches my man. Straight to Dado mode. Sorry about the technical difficulty of these folks, but we're back. Alright. I love the full screen clips. They look solid. Of course, I didn't make them, so... I thought you did okay. I did fine. They do make fun of me for saying fine too much. He's been playing better. He had some sardines. He's been playing better. He had some sardines. Uh, okay. Oh, you're there. Not there. Oh! Any shots. I think we've already proven those targets are impossible to hit on screen. targets are impossible to hit on screen. So we know what your favorite modes are Luke, what is your favorite monster in Ultraman? Like in terms of the episode or just... Yeah, what's your favorite monster? That's interesting. I actually do really like the first Benular, So, Bemular here is really cool. It was one of the first episodes I watched. Let me go through and look. Oh, Red King is really, really cool. Because you get to see Red King actually fight some other kaiju. Yeah, that is kind of a sweet episode. Yeah, we're almost ready. So, Red King's episode, before Ultraman fights Red King, Red King is attacking, I believe, two other kaiju. Yeah, you tear it out. What is their arm? I don't know. Yeah. Well, wing or arm? Yeah. Wing, yeah. So that was a really cool episode of seeing those ultimate kaiju battles. There you go. He's got two. One more. He got it. So this mode, too, I think we just haven't talked about. but this is a mode where you're trying to do that. You don't want to hit the red. So you'll start with all green. As you collect the green, they turn red, and you don't want to hit the red shots. Don't do what I do. Do what I say, not what I do. Uh, got her. One more. Got it. Needed one more shot to finish him off. It's okay, Luke. You still got second. Did I really? No, other Luke got second. Oh, I was like, yeah. Oh, well. Game first. Hey, what are you? You're already discounting Dylan? Yeah. What the heck, man? I guess that was rude, I'm sorry. Okay, good call. But maybe... Oh, look at that, he shats. ...that he immediately shats. That's SHK. That's all I really wanted to do. Let's see if Dylan can hit the targets. D'oh! D'oh! So, in addition to adding combos, we are going to be adding some cool clips for our helpers, our Science Patrol members. Full-screen clips will be coming for that. Yeah, you've got some cool ideas for that here in general. They are often key into helping Ultraman. Although I wouldn't even say that. A lot of times the episodes, they're failing, and Ultraman comes up last. I'll just do it. But there's a few episodes where they save the day. Oh, for sure. Yeah, you can just hit end. That is... All righty. That is a wrap on Ultraman. Let's go to some Halloween. Dylan, you have to go back and code now, though. Dang it. All right. All righty. Are we recording? 100%? Yes, we are recording. We have space on the drive. We're going to pretend we played Ultraman first. I obviously have. But Dylan left, and I'm wearing a new shirt. It is time for some Halloween now. We're going to get to that jack-o'-lantern mode that we've been talking about. And, yeah, giving our best shot. No pressure. Catch. No catch. That was a catch. This just wasn't the catch I was looking for. Fair. You're doing great. No pressure. How many points is that post work? More than you'll ever get. Maybe. Wall one. I'm the number one. I'm gonna get to the pumpkin! Pumpkin time. Bounce. Post time. Nice. Here we go, here we go. What do I think I'm beating first? Probably this one. Yeah. So when I have Ball Save at the center here, it's a really good time to try and clear those center three targets, because they're super high risk. I don't know. Ah, no. Quit trying. Let's get this Asylum multiball as fast as possible. Stack it. I am full of diamonds. Oh, no. What's that like? Oh, no. Time gets not rumps. Center ramp will increase my time. There we go. Whiskey. See? See? One more. It's right there. Just to extend the time though first. So it'll be safe to hit that. There we go. All right, one more down. Two to go. Two to go. That's good. Collect four blood. Follow the trail of blood. Ten seconds. So you'll hear the woman saying, ten seconds. Five seconds left. Five seconds. Blood will lead us to the end. He's just doing a countdown timer for how much time you have left to collect your blood. And of course, when you collect three blood, that'll be the blood store. Let's store the mystery. Maybe also worth pointing out, there is also a shaker pattern so you can actually feel the countdown counting down. I have my shaker unplugged. Does not sound the best on screen. Yeah. Good. There we go. Hold on. Two, three. Two, three. So right now he's trying to work his way through three of the modes to get the new multiball started. Worth noting, too, with that, right now there are two easy modes, two medium modes, two hard modes, and one of the two expert modes in the game. At the end, basically what you'll have is there's going to be at least eight main scoop modes, two of those being experts. You'll still see that coming. Another thing with that, this is kind of like a halfway victory celebration for the scoop modes. And then at the end, there will be a wizard mode to wrap all that up too. So a total of kind of ten in the scoop there. I know a lot of you still aren't super familiar with where we're going with that. And that's just talking about pumpkin modes. I mean, you can also stack that with all the multiball modes as well, which is something we don't talk about a lot, but there's really a strategy in terms of which pumpkin mode that you stack with each multiball in terms of minimizing the number of shots you need to collect. Obviously, certain modes stack better strategically with other modes. Yeah, like with those multi-balls. Bob and Linda is really good with house because you're going up there anyway, and you can kind of finish both of those at the same time. What's all the overlaps of targets with Sanitarium? The one I would have wanted to have stacked with Sanitarium is Escape the Kitchen because it's all the stand up targets. That makes it really neat because it's kind of a two for one deal. You can collect the shots on your main multiball and your scoop mode at the same exact time. Every shot. There we go. So we have multiball here. Pretty well. Hit the flag and you shot the ball. I could be talking more right now, but I'm like, I'm just really focused. Do you notice we're still getting clips on screen from the calculator mode that you have stacked right now? We should probably talk about that new UI on the screen right there. Oh, yes. There's a new UI. It's of the patients wandering around the sanitarium. And basically what you're doing is the stand up targets are your jackpots for the Asylum multiball. All those stand up targets are... new animation here too... You got an extra ball! How did I get that? You beat two jack-o-lantern modes to the... And you beat that to a jack... Getting all over the place right now. So the super cool new studio that's doing animations for Ultraman, Will they be doing some stuff for Halloween as well? Yes, we're going to be having a ton of eyes on Halloween. We're just trying to get everything as good as possible. That'll be fun to see. See the new stuff. As I was saying before, that'll be fun. Oh, yeah, the new animation there from Ryan Polisky of the patients wandering around as you're collecting them. Pretty cool stuff. Now, bounce. Give me that. Try it one more minute. I played it better when I wasn't talking. I think you're doing okay though. I think this is our best game yet. I don't think he's doing very good. That was called convincing them all to stay in play. You're my, my. What am I? My team, my team. Alright. Under control. What was the tilt setting that we had this set on? Three. That's a bird now. The setting of show-off modes that... That's one ball. But, hey, we had the tilt. Yeah, I did. That's all I was done playing. Camera red? Yeah. I can put more glowing light on you if you'd like. Would it make me appear godly as I play? Honestly, you're doing pretty good right now. I think you really don't have a comparison. We haven't gone yet, but I think people will see that when we play, you don't always get two modes and an extra ball on your first ball. Another thing that's cool right now, too, is you can see on the actual jack on the play field That showing his progress in the most Wow That a lot of blood And everybody makes fun of me for always saving but it bought us this extra ball here And a million just for opening it. So this is gonna be a one ball stream. Yeah, no kidding. Three hour later, three hours later. Let's do an easier one because I'm probably gonna try to stack I have no idea what that casualty was. Five seconds left. Here we go. Nice. Maybe we shouldn't have put ourselves into this game. Yeah, we might have. I mean, there's really no point. I'm just making sure you guys know what you're supposed to do. Yeah, just try to make us feel bad. I get it. Two for left, one. Okay, so I collected my extra bombs. Two for left. In my opinion, I think when you buy the extra ball, it should just be awarded to you. Then you don't have to go back to the scoop. We might change that before it launches. But maybe it's a game changer. Let's see. We're going down. Oh! Yeah, it's right there. So we are streaming before this will drop to the public, and one of the reasons we do that is we are still looking for any bugs that might come up that we can catch before it actually goes live. But we've been spending a good week now trying to find various bugs on this game, just trying to make it as good as possible for everyone before it drops. Should be a pretty cleaned up code update on this. I agree. We've spent quite a bit of time. We're still doing our very best to make sure we catch them all. There we go. With that said, pinball is hard. There's always something we don't catch. I want to say no, but for all we've played it, it's always frustrating when they're there. But at the same time, there's so many variables in the pinball machine logic that can happen. Perfect. Should be just about there, shouldn't you? Yep. Alright, she should be, uh, beating three. Connect mode, mod. Follow the trail of blood. Yep, so jack-o-lantern mode is left. The blood will be the end zone. Oh! No! So yeah, when the scoop starts flashing, we're gonna try to check his left. So we're gonna let it start up. I'm gonna turn the sound down back on. Where'd the keys go? I took them out, sorry. That's my bad. You just stole them. I did. I was like, well, we're not going to need to adjust it anymore. I'm just going to turn it up for this song. Clear those drop targets. So a cool part about this multiball is the whole play field's open. You can build your jackpot, collect your jackpot, and every part of the game, top to bottom. So I hope you can notice the traffic on the right-hand side, the little planes, that kind of represents your jackpot count. So the bigger that plane is getting, the more it's growing, the higher your jackpots are at. I feel like a little kid right now. So you're waiting for dad to get them to play. I'm getting stuck in my own place. Now I could also have flagged my jackpot up there to get it flowing. So yeah, my jackpot value is maxed out, too. I don't get to set it up. They jumped up quickly as we were going through the animal. I like how you included we in that. I hope. I just don't want people to feel bad if they don't get there on wall one. I'll show them. It's a legit good game. I'll show them how to not get there. I'll show them all one. Yo. How much blood do we got? Some. I would have saved it. If I would have saved that one million, I'd get a false save. But I'm a goofy goober. You spent one million? I did? You spent a million on points? I didn't even spend a million. I bought extra ball for $12,000. I bought about a million balls. That's a rookie move, man. That's a rookie move. Man, look at all those green check marks. Let's do a stocker. Definitely a stocker. I love this one. It's definitely nice. I love it. Later, we'll read the rules. We kind of went over this in the last stream a whole bunch. So, very soon, Michael is going to get in the way. And you're going to have to hurry up. Left, right. There you go. You can clear those. Oh, there we go. Get to the house. Now! Oh, I really didn't mean to do that. Yeah. Okay. Oh, I guess I did it kind of like a year. Okay. Before, it must have been just before Michael moved. Get to the house. Now! Yeah, I definitely think we have a little bit of a code bug there. But that's okay. We'll get that sorted out. I think we just scratched this whole game. Oh, yeah. Delete this footage. I never would have saved this footage. Yeah, we died. A little bit of a code bug. It's okay. We'll get it sorted out. I love to see that red X. One more. All of our favorite values in the game though right here. Yeah, the original six Jack-o-lanterns. None of those would be my favorite. Who goes close? Ah! Oh no! This is a tougher mode. Oh no! Now we have one more extra ball. Now I have one more ball left. You'll only get to play again. I'm sorry! Could break 50 on ball one. Technically, that's a 50. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. Technically ball. Two, three. Screen says ball one. It does. All right. Let's go. He's got a house left. Let's go. Ten seconds. There is actually some singing in the background of one of the modes now. It sounds a lot better than Corbin's singing. So it's interesting. So we were actually re-watching Halloween, looking for some new ideas and things, and watched a different version that none of us had seen before. It was the made-for-TV. The made-for-TV movie had a lot of the, you know, some of the scenes cut out, But it added some additional scenes that we've never seen. Actual footage from inside the sanitarium, which was neat. Some background to human Michael, which I found very interesting. Oh, no. Sorry. How embarrassing. You want to go? Yeah, I'll follow that. No problem. Original spooky Luke. Let's talk about fun stuff. Luke Peters, what year were you born? What year was I born? Yeah, like what horror movies were coming out when you were a child that just terrified you? So the movie, without giving out how old I am, the movie I remember terrifying me was the original, I think, Return of the Living Dead. Particularly the scene where the guy crawls into the cremator because he thought that was the better out. That really got me. I don't know when that movie came out, so I may have seen it very, very late. I want to say like 85 or something like that. Wow. So that's more typical of how this game is played? We'll see. But yeah, that scene really got to me as a kid. But I watched out most of the basics with Friday the 13th, Halloween, Nightmare on Elm Street, everything like that. All right. Let's go over some important stuff for Halloween, huh? Some things coming to the future for Halloween. Like I said, we're going to be reworking a lot of the scoop modes and whatnot. We kind of went over this during Ultraman. But something that we're going to be adding that I'm pretty excited for is a bit of an item collect. we haven't exactly completely gone through how we want it to work throughout the whole game but the idea will be you collect certain items and they can be cursed or good for you so that so that you can get like perks from them or it'll like hurt you and slow you down and michael will be messing with you yeah so we talked a little bit about the combo system coming to ultraman but there'd be a similar combo system coming to halloween as well just looking at uh alternate ways of playing the game. So, you know, while it's still going to be probably the most lucrative to work through your pumpkin modes in multiball, if you're in that base gameplay, giving the player some more options for things to do besides just collecting blood. Ooh, let's see the secret dirty pool shot here. Take down those targets, blocking their path. I don't know if it can be done from the left. Nice! Let's see. Do it again. See? What a terrible player. So what that did was it automatically opened the house for hitting them between the targets. So no matter how many ramps you have left, if you knock it down the center drop target and then kind of split goalposts, they'll direct you right to opening house. And there are shots on that middle play field once we, if we had Lori's help now, but Lori's help is 100%. Oh, playing bad up there. Really haven't been having a good game at all. Yeah, it's kind of embarrassing. We'll have to edit you out of the video and just have the loose. I hope it will time out. He is still good. Oh yeah, I only have 17 seconds left in that. So that's new to this update, correct? The time being able to time out of the custom mode? Yeah, you want to talk about that? Well, I think that's all I really have to say about that, as Forrest Gump would say. That is all. But yeah, there is a timer on several of our modes now, where if you are not completing your shots, you don't get locked into that mode for the entire rest of the game. So he just timed out of house mode. Yeah. But he did have stacks. Should go over to what the inserts in the center play field are indicating. Sure. Sure. Well, I'll let Corwin go over more of that. For the wizard mode that will be coming in the next update, which in Halloween is the Boogeyman in Ultraman Zetton, the way you get to that is with the three main multiballs. Sorry, I have dog fur in my eye. 200 pounds of dog. Yeah. So the wizard mode we'll be getting to, the way you get to that is you have to get the super jackpot in each multiball. So in house, you have to get the super jackpot across that balcony. in Asylum you have to get the super jackpot at the Asylum and in Hedge you have to get the super jackpot which is collecting three Michaels and then the fourth Michael in the center. You collect all those you get to the wizard mode for Halloween. The way you can keep track of that is like your progress. So like right now he's in house attack. He's got house one, two, three to complete. As he makes progress through the mode you'll see him fill those up. So one of the wizard modes. very, I mean, we've already talked about pumpkin, we had some wizard mode, pumpkin wizard mode, and now we have these wizard modes. Green lights and green petals, which I just filled back up. So you asked me about movies, what were the influential horror movies that you grew up with? I know everything. Yeah, mostly the classic Universal stuff. I was actually, all the way up until about like 6th or 7th grade, I was way too afraid to watch real horror movies at the time, like Friday the 13th and Halloween. I saw Halloween when I was in second or third grade, and it literally terrified me at that age. I was terrified of scary movies, but I knew I liked spooky things. So I really liked Abbott and Costello. I really liked the Universal Monsters. I got into Hammer Horror around that time, too. So those were all my biggest influences. Comedy horror, I think, is maybe a way of introducing it, because it's almost less scary, Even though, you know, movies like Evil Dead are certainly... Timed out. Certainly, like, terrifying things in Evil Dead, but it's, you know, done in a campy way that, you know, makes it, you know, a little bit less scary to me. So I was like, I'm actually going to finish the movie. Evil Dead 2, Evil Dead 3, Zombieland was good, Shaun of the Dead, those copy cars were great. So you hear when he's hitting those red shots there, you can hear Annie singing the Opal song, which ended up sounding way creepier and eerier than we ever thought it would. It was pretty sweet. That's got to be something I'm really, really proud of with this game, though, in general, is that the hardcore Halloween fans that bought this that weren't into pinball, like this is literally their first pinball machine, they don't know anything about it, and they bought Halloween because they are the diehard Michael Myers fans, which you'd be surprised how many of those there were. for our customer base this time around. When those guys tell us that the theme implementation is really great, it's really kind of a wow factor. Because when you're into pinball, you know when you get a movie pin or a music pin or a TV to a pin, you kind of know what to expect. Like, oh, this is how they'll incorporate that to the game and this is how they'll incorporate that. And it'll make sense for pinball. But if you don't know about pinball, you don't know how they're going to implement your favorite horror movie of all time into a game. So hearing that those guys think that the implementation is good, it really means a lot. It makes me feel like we did something right for that crowd at least. So as much as I like the upper playfields, I still think this is one of my favorite multiballs in the game. Just the pink blue Michaels on a timer, have to hit them while they're out. Like your jackpots. Like all three of your super jackpots. Right orbit? I don't know. Oh, it was too slow. Oh, no. I'm showing the bad player strategy right now. Oh, I'm not doing it right. I shouldn't talk all day. Well, I would prefer not to be in last place. Are we in both suits? Okay. There's still one more to go through. Just because you got to play through like four or five balls doesn't mean the rest of us had that opportunity. We're going to set a skill shot. I always hold this just to have it from old Williams games, I think. So again, clearing drop targets while we're in ball save, I think is key. Take the break. Maybe let's try to go to ball drop. There you go. I'm going to go. Two more to go. Now collect the blood on your way up there. Ah. Well, I... Just grab it on your way up. Just reach out for it. Just reach out for it. If I aim for a shot, maybe I'll get one of the guys in the next. Maybe. Okay. This isn't bad. We're going to start a mode. We're going to stack a mode. Yep. Anything except for that mode. Yeah. Pretty much. Not that mode either. That's going to put up the ground targets. Basic. Oh, that's going to be the strategy. It's not a bad idea because if you do get the multiball at the house, it... I mean, if. When you get the multiball at the house, it overlaps a lot of your jackpots, so it helps out. Nice. And this one goes in tight. Really nice. Come on! We gotta get a clean shot here. We are making progress in the mode. In fact, we've already completed the mode. We've completed the mode. You're running out of time on your house, though. It's okay. We can get back to house. But that'll be the next thing I should do. Am I fine? Come on, buddy. Let's go. Follow the trail of blood. There you go. All right. Oh, you just... Don't leave me. I'm gonna bring more death to this town. You can open it up. I could have gone for the middle playfield, but I was just too sad. Yeah. Plus I wanted to collect all the blood down here. That multiball, uh... Oh! Slow right there. He's gone! Raiders gone! Alright, play one more ball. One more. It's gonna be a close battle for second. Ah. No! Oh, okay, good. This is not how it plays. Get back out there. Um, shit, we've kind of done a lot. So I do own Ultraman. Super Jackpot on Edge. So I own Ultraman, which is why I'm no good at Halloween. That's how the computer is got hired. He bought an Ultraman and he made a few videos about it. We were like, you know what, you have a job. I have been around spooky pinball for a while, though. A long time? Long, long time. Since the beginning, almost. How did you get involved with that? Well, that's probably a decent story. I got into pinball really through video games, ultimately. I mean, that's how I started. And then, you know, a trip to Las Vegas, the Pinball Hall of Fame, asked my wife, said, hey, can I get a pinball machine? We were building our basement at the time, so decided to build in a pinball closet, because obviously that would house the one machine that I would eventually own. The one machine? Yeah, the one and only machine, because who would want more than one pinball machine? But anyway, so just through buying machines, really, And then finding out that, hey, we happen to be in the heart of pinball in southwest Wisconsin, which you would have thought. So I kind of asked your dad if I could come over and check out the incubator when they were over there. So you just kind of heard about Spooky and, like, Ward on the Street? Yep. I mean, really, it was just neat. I mean, and at that time, it was just crazy, because I think, you know, I look at the games that were routed around here. There was a Medieval Madness routed. There was Attack from Mars routed, which this is prior to, like, every city having access to pinball machines. So there was a Monster Bash. So to have, like, some of these top games at the time that were routed was just crazy. and then I happened to work at a resort at that point and had an arcade in it and requested that our vendor bring over some pinball machines and he brought over Twilight Zone and Adam's Family. So I had access to a decent collection. So just hit after hit. Yeah. Okay. That's sketchable. I can do this. The Battle of the Lukes is on. All right. The position of Luke. The position of Luke. You get the skill shot that's really going to help. I do have skill shots. Maybe the super skill shot, if I can do that right away. I'm going to toss it down there. That wasn't far off for me. Oh, boy. That made me really nervous. I'm using my mind powers to make sure they drain. Oh, man. That's not going my way. All right. No more ball save. I wasted that really, really quickly. I'm the worst Luke. The Lukes have failed. That was not good. I'm actually going to enter that one. I'm okay with that score. That's the one you're proud of? That one I'm happy with. There it is. There you have it. Awesome. that should pretty much wrap it up I was going to say that should cover the gameplay anything else we need to go over while we're still on camera next games we can reveal Dylan's not here so we can drop that title right now usually Dylan's here to accidentally spoil that for us but yeah we hope you all really enjoyed the video and when 1.06 gets out to you we're hoping it's the most solid code we've ever released to date like I said we're just spending a lot of time trying to get all of those code bugs that we can. So yeah, get to that Don't Fear the Reaper mode, get to that Pigmon multiball, have a blast, jam out, and yeah, we'll see you in the next one. Thanks guys!
