Spooky Pinball's weekly Twitch stream featured a new Scooby-Doo code update with a Character Mode, but also included an Easter egg in the stream background showing Leatherface from Texas Chainsaw Massacre. ## Transcript

Yesterday was Thursday, that means that it was time for one of Spooky Pinball's fantastic weekly gameplay streams on Twitch. Last night Bug showed off Spooky's latest code for its pinball machine Scooby-Doo.

The recently released code features the game's new Character Mode for its namesake character Scooby-Doo. In Scooby-Doo mode players have to help Scoob drink pink "malts" or shakes by hitting various shots.

Perhaps even more interesting is the Easter Egg that Spooky slipped into the background of its stream...the Scooby gang being chased by none other than a cartoonified Leatherface, the evil bad guy from the horror film Texas Chainsaw Massacre (TCM). Soooo is this Spooky just messing with us after hearing the rumor that TCM is the theme for an upcoming pinball machine from the Company OR is it a legit hint as to what's next from Spooky? It's too obvious a hint to be real or is that what Spooky wants us to think - it's so obvious that it couldn't be real? This feels like the "Battle of Wits" over the poison in The Princess Bride lol. Kudos to the Spooky folks for being good sports either way. Your move Spooky :)
