## Transcript

evils of men. All right, Shadow. This is one of those games that Scott Burgess could play with his eyes closed. So, uh, we'll see how this goes. Should be entertaining. This is a awesome game. If you've never played it, try to find one and play it. It's super good. Uh way better than a movie as most these pins based on 80s movies goes. So, Skillshot, you get to pick one of two things, one of two awards, and you hit that left ramp to earn it. This game is unique because the uh battlefield, which he just opened, is a upper play field that's kind of like playing Pong. Um, you will definitely see it before this game's over, but it's one of my favorite um just kind of weird quirky pinball things. Here we go. So, he's got a moving paddle there. He can move left and right, and he's trying to hit 30 of those target shots. And when he completes it, he can break through to the back. And it's a pretty huge payout. I think it's 30 million the first time you do it. And then to the right of that, as you just saw, is the ball lock. And that is a one shot to light lock, one shot to collect. Now, what you're not seeing yet, there is a scoop to the right, just outside of the orbit. Right there it is. This is the mode start saucer. Much like Indiana Jones, uh you get a random mode when you're in there. And some of these modes are very like typical. Oh, tough feet. Pretty typical modes in terms of like an arrow is lit, shoot at it. Going to get some AJ action in here. When you're ready. There's the mute. we got We got Sterling. Think he's visiting from Idaho. Oh, is that where he's from? I was wondering. He's playing pretty good. He had a tough break on Winchester, but uh he did survive a tiebreaker to be here, so we love to see it. See shots got up the left ramp taking a forehand for a start scene. It's pretty nice drop catch there. Daniel and Scott are going to put on a show on this game. They are uh pretty competitive with each other, so would not expect any less. I really need to talk to Michael about his screen situation here. It's a It's kind of small squinting a lot. I had the last game on my phone. Florence is one of those guys uh just a real pinball shark. Um and he he's just you wouldn't expect it until you play against him. Um, and he recently joined the Flip Room League this last season. And, um, he's one of those guys I feel like we're just doomed to do this forever. I just constantly play against him wherever we travel and go. Yep. I, uh, I felt the wrath on Paragon. I needed to not take last place on Paragon to get to the final. And, uh, Lawrence blew it up, as they say. And, uh, now he's up in the battlefield playing some Breakout, some Arkanoid. Yeah, I I was saying before you joined that's one of my favorite little weird pinball things. It's so cool. Oh, tough reach. Recently married. Congratulations. Yeah. Congratulations, man. He just kind of like came to the league one night dressed nice and we were like, "Oh, that's weird." Oh, I just got married. All right. Married the league. That's cool. Are you a points guy in the skill shot, AJ, or you going for the bonus X? Um, depends on the situation, right? Uh, if I can catch up, I'll go with points. But otherwise, if I have no idea what I'm doing, I'll go with the, you know, sometimes just vibes. Yeah, the bonus can be super juicy in this. Double danger. Carefully. Matt back here kicking ass on Wizard. hearing that. Jeez, he's clacking it up. Well, relatively uh I guess fair first ball for all four. Everyone's pretty close. So, it's anyone's ball game, as they say. Mhm. So, one thing to note on the Arkanoid playfield up there, after you knock down whatever the requested amount is, which the first time is 30, I believe, the targets in the four, which you really can't see from this angle, but the there's four targets in the back. And once you hit them, they drop and stay down, and you have to pass through to complete the battlefield. And if you don't pass through, you don't get it. Mongol attack. This is a frenzy. Oh, he's got the multiball. And this stacks with Mongol, doesn't it? He's just combo doing the thing, man. Four forehanding ramps. Another ramp. Oh, yeah. He's I think I I this guy just plays this game a lot. He I think this is I think he would say that this is his favorite game. Yeah. One other thing to note, uh, those big, uh, diverters on the ramps, you can control. There's a button on both sides. Two buttons on both sides. So, Scott's having to switch those to earn different jackpots. I have seen some cheekiness with the uh, diverters if you half ramp. Some people have used them to catch the ball. And that's a legal IFPA legal um method of going to single ball play during multiball. Oh, that was a good ball though. Yeah, you can't be upset with that. That was nice. Look at that big pretty big bonus there. 64 million. Yeah, that's that's a good ball. Nice skill shot. You went for bonus or I'm going for the points. I going for the points. Good job. Left orbit on this one can be a little nasty. If you hit it fast, uh, it kind of skates off into the middle. He's got a mode going. You know, I've never seen I've never seen all of this movie. No. Is there like a giant ball? Yeah. I don't know what this one's about. This is the thing that always gets me. Giant steer ball going through. Oh, I'm sorry. You're right. We're going to get Is it good? The bomb. Oh, it's it's terrible. It's not the bomb. It is a bomb. A bomb. What? Oh, we're just doing some color here. This is my new favorite commentary team. Oh, yeah. We're Hey, we're being real nice and we're keeping the the wrestling references for now. For now. All right. Wait, what round are we on? Are we We're on like round two. Yeah. 204 falls. That's Now we're talking. Oh, okay. That looked a lot more dangerous than it was. Lawrence didn't even flinch. He's trying to looks like he's looking at the work in the lock. Yeah, there's like a magnet there that will catch it and then it will go like through the wall. I'm kind of surprised. I don't know. I I have a lot of bad luck shooting that lock. Uh it's a weird angle. Yeah, definitely from I would say a forehand is probably a little bit. Oh, he's probably going to get a lock here. Oh, 3x bonus. All right. the hit Oater. I mean, I feel like the movie's worth watching just because um uh what's this guy's the the actor? Uh Tim Curry. Tim Curry's here. Yeah. You know, Dr. Frankenstein himself or themself. DG is up with the uh spacer uh t-shirt. I know exclusive to the the Flip Room. Telling you, man. I you know I wore so much Flip Room merch to IND that people started asking me if I was sponsored. Just like No, we we give them money actually. Yeah. It's like a reverse sponsorship. Sponsor, man. Oh, you got a towel. Turny towel, right? Yeah. So, I would have bought it if I didn't get it wrong. I'm I'm working on my bucks to get a towel. Oh, and Arkanoid time. So, we haven't seen somebody finish this. He's got all 30 hits still. So, what I like to do is if I can just get it going straight up and down and slow the ball down cuz you really don't need to move it. You might be able to get away with a lot of hits. Yeah, I hear people talk about, you know, moving the paddle and trying to throw the ball sideways into the side targets, but I every time I try to do that, it just I get nothing done. Uh, shout out to Moonman in the chat. That's Brandon. Oh, yeah. I'm glad your foot has healed up. Yeah, it was nice seeing him standing today. got 33,000. Quick update on the other uh group of four after Alice Cooper. A tremendous choice. The gambit paid off. It did. The Alice Cooper nightmare for everybody else to play other than Mike Moretti. Where did the second ball come from? No idea. Hotel. I don't even know what this mode is. No, I have no idea. I was like, he's definitely doing a thing though. And he launches him. He defenestrates the Mongol. Yeah, man. Just like Belger in in Final Fight one. Geese Howard. Yeah. I don't actually know if there is a It says there's a double jackpot somewhere. Yeah, there's a double. And I think it's around the loop uh into the side saucer. Got me thinking about Oh, wow. That's a lot of bonus gone. Ooh, this is a tough game to tilt on. That is a juicy bonus. I wish it would tell us. 44. He's still pretty fine, though. Yeah, that is still fine. But I think he would have been well over 500 with the bonus. Got me thinking about defenestrations now. Can you say Hi and Tekken? Uh well that was like it's a thrown off of a cliff. Also in Smash Brothers they tried to throw Kirby off the cliff and he would just float back up, you know. man. Clean shot right into that. So, this multiball is lit from the start. Um, which is kind of cool, but it's really tough to hit. Um, going around that loop and then hitting that side saucer. So, that was a really well done shot. I think 20.6 Six is at 180. Good save. I'd be starting in mode from this shot. Nice cradle. See, that's that's the lock, man. Nasty. It was a bold strategy. Yeah, that's a nasty shot up there. Yeah, it's hard to tell. Hard to see from this view, but there is a drop target uh that you have to smack. And that's part of why that shot's so dangerous. Bro, are you doing your taxes right now? Oh, yeah. Hell yeah. Multiple times. I got to go to the grocery store. We got to wrap this up. Yeah. Trader Joe's closes in two hours. sponsor us, Trader Joe's. We're just I'm We're just here for the swag. Yeah, man. Get some of those bags that all the old people will line up for. The mini bags. Apparently, they make a killing in Asia. Yeah. On the resale market. Okay. He's doing he's doing the AJ. Oh, yep. The Yep. Right through. Look at that. Okay. So, that's big. This man plays breakout. He has 70 million just for that. extra ball. He was probably listening to the commentary. Yeah, man. Oh, furb. Let's see if he knows. So, there's a bomb. The the Furbies. Oh, he only skipped one Furby. He just that that angry shake with himself was just like a peak. Lawrence. Well, he's halfway there. Um I think you know he can go back up to he's in vengeance mode. This is a this is a frenzy, right? Uh yeah, I think he has to hit See all the flashing rings? The ring lights. Uh look at that. And the stacking it. This is dangerous now. Let's see. That's a lot of That's a lot of jackpots. Yeah, man. That's three. That's at least like 6 at 308. 4x bonus multiplier. Yeah, he better not tilt. That's going to be huge. That might be the difference maker. He is putting in work. Oh, tough. Tough. He's all right, though. He's in saucer. One for the road. Nope. Careful. Oh, no. It's not enough. Oh, that's going to be so close. Is there any No, there's not really anything that he can get cuz it just speeds too early. So, let's see. Not enough. All right. DG. He's looking for some uh third ball magic. 32 1 zero scoring zero, but he's doing pretty good. So, you know, Lawrence isn't out, but um he could have really used a win on this one for sure, but we'll see. Anything's possible. He's going for the multiball. That's two balls locked, I believe. Oh, he's working the middle. Oh. Oh wow. Hands up to the pinball gods. Dude, he went right for that. Uh, lost one. Still two ball play. Only one jackpot though, right? Yeah, only one jackpot so far. Okay, there's two. Brutal. Oh, Okay, super's lit. There it is. Huge 100 million shots. Well, he's quickly coming. Vengeance modes. Oh, he's Oh, he's down to what? Single ball play now. Yeah, he is. But he's got contact 333. Oh, he's going for the con multiball. He's got that lid now. Oh my god. Getting that right orbit. Right orbit again. Oh, it's dangerous. Pick it up speed. Get it. Oh, I'm surprised he's not going for the saucer shot. Or maybe he just doesn't know that he reit. It was during multiball. Oh, with a 4x multiplier. 72. Oh, he got it. Is that what 10 by? Like 6 million, I think, or 60 million. 6 million. Crazy. Like 5.7 million ish. That's nuts. Ball three magic.
