- **[community_signal]** Kaneda undertaking significant charity effort (auctioning rare machine at cost, donating all profit) that conflicts with negative community perception of him (confidence: high) — Speaker frames this as unusual: 'he has made a decision to do something that a lot of of people wouldn't'; explicit commitment to donate all profit above cost

I feel like I'm gonna catch a little bit of grief for this because it's gonna be two videos in a row that are somewhat Kaneda related and there's a lot of you out there that don't seem to really care for this guy. But let's put those feelings aside for a moment because he has made a decision to do something that a lot of of people wouldn't and that is by selling a very rare game at cost but that's not even the best part he is selling his new inbox the big lebowski pinball machine never been opened his starting bid is going to be 12 500 and that is the cost out of his pocket for the machine every dollar over the 12 mark is going to be going to project pinball that's right he is going to be donating all of the potential profit to a charity dedicated to providing pinball machines to children's hospitals The Project Pinball Charity is a registered non-profit organization that places pinball machines in children's hospitals to provide recreational relief to patients, family members, and hospital staff. They have been donating and maintaining pinball machines since 2011 and have since become a nationwide organization with pinball machines in hospitals all across the United States. They provide all the equipment, parts, supplies, and the regular maintenance at no cost to the hospital. They have donated 46 pinball machines to 42 different hospitals in 20 different states So let's go over the details just a little bit closer. So there's a couple of ways that you could go about bidding on this game. There was three, but evidently that got deleted from Pinside, and I'm going to guarantee you that it's because it was Kaneda related. The other way is by going to Kaneda's Pinball Podcast Facebook page. And the third way is by email. I will leave the links down in the description below. Bids will be accepted for two weeks, November 23rd through December 8th, midnight. The money will be donated during Special One Lit's Project Pinball Fundraiser that takes place December 20th through the 21st. I want to say currently on Facebook the bid is actually already up to $14,500. So that's $2,000 that's already going towards a great cause. So one you could potentially get a very rare game in your house And two the money that you spend to get it is going to be funding a very good organization And by all means, you do not have to go about only donating to Project Pinball via trying to get this machine. You could always go to Project Pinball, which I will leave a link in the description down below. And you can donate willingly or even donate to the raffle. whether it be for Kaneda's Lebowski machine or for a chance at winning one of your own machines at least you're still contributing to a great charity that's going to wrap up this video guys if you like what you've seen here give me that thumbs up and if you haven't already do not forget to hit that subscribe button down below that way you can be notified of whenever I upload something for your viewing pleasure until next time guys peace out Outro Music
