## Analysis

Orbital Albert (Orby) hosts Pinball Nerds Podcast episode 616, thanking Patreon donors and announcing a pintern (pinball intern) hire at Yagpin. He discusses unsubscribing from Kaneda's stream due to toxic community behavior, gives Zyron Silvers (a competitive player who improved from ~1500th to 180th WPPR ranking in one year) five missions to complete at Yagpin including interviews and content creation, and briefly covers Yagpin Match Play Championship standings. The episode includes personal commentary about parenting, craft beer tasting, and Canadian pinball tournament scheduling.

### Key Claims

- [HIGH] Zyron Silvers improved from approximately 1500th-1800th WPPR ranking to 180th in the world within 13 months — _Orby directly states: 'coming from like 1500th a year ago, or 1800th I think a year ago or whenever I challenged him a year and a month ago 13 months ago he's now 180th in the world'_
- [HIGH] Jamie Birchall (JBS Show), Kale (Electric Bat Arcade), and Retro Ralph have unsubscribed from Kaneda's stream due to toxic chat and rhetoric — _Orby states: 'Jamie Birchall of the JBS show, as well as Kale from the Electric Bat, and Retro Ralph from Retro Ralph, of course, they have all unsubscribed from Canada because they feel like himself and his chat and his rhetoric has just got too toxic.'_
- [HIGH] Kaneda called Orby and others 'chumps' in a recent interaction — _Orby recounts: 'Then the following Saturday, he called me and everyone else a chump. And I said, dude, that's just not very rad.'_
- [HIGH] Orby is unsubscribing from Kaneda's channel in solidarity with other content creators — _Orby states: 'So to be in solidarity, not just with Jamie and Cale, but also because like, honestly... I'm just not going to give him any of my money. So I unsubscribe from him.'_
- [HIGH] Kaneda streams from a location with a pinball machine placed in front of a bright window, which Orby criticizes as hypocritical given Kaneda's previous criticism of others doing the same — _Orby notes: 'he went on rants for years about people putting pinball machines in front of windows. He did his entire live stream last Saturday with, you could see the guns, you could see the UV rays actually making the paint start to bubble.'_
- [HIGH] Edmonton Oilers won their playoff series against LA 4-1 and are advancing to round three — _Orby states: 'Edmonton Oilers just won the series last night against LA. 4-1. We just saw it.'_
- [HIGH] Moncton, Canada will host pinball tournaments on Saturday, April 17th at Hub City Pinball/Zero's Arcade for the first time in approximately 18-19 months — _Orby announces: 'pinball tournaments are coming back to Moncton... when was the last time there was a pinball tournament in... Moncton that might have been when I won the New Brunswick pinball championship so it's been almost two years It's been like 18, 19 months.'_

Orby is frustrated but attempting to maintain 'constructive' tone while criticizing. Grateful appreciation for donors contrasts sharply with disappointed/frustrated tone about community drama.

### Signals

- **[community_signal]** Hypocrisy allegation: Kaneda previously criticized others for placing pinball machines in front of windows, but now streams with machines in bright window location showing UV damage (confidence: high) — Orby states: 'he went on rants for years about people putting pinball machines in front of windows. He did his entire live stream last Saturday with, you could see the guns, you could see the UV rays actually making the paint start to bubble'
- **[community_signal]** Orby creating structured content missions for Zyron at Yagpin including interviews, social media content, and entertainment pieces to generate podcast material (confidence: high) — Orby assigns five detailed missions: interview Mike Dimas, get selfies with Edmonton Oilers fans, interview Tom Graff, conduct five 30-second interviews, interview tournament winner, plus bonus rap content
- **[sentiment_shift]** Multiple prominent content creators (Jamie Birchall, Kale, Retro Ralph) distancing themselves from Kaneda's stream due to community toxicity, marking a significant community schism (confidence: high) — Orby confirms unsubscriptions from three major content creators due to 'toxic' chat and Kaneda's negative rhetoric; Orby himself unsubscribing in solidarity
- **[competitive_signal]** Zyron Silvers achieving 180th world ranking represents significant competitive improvement trajectory and emerging talent in pinball circuit (confidence: high) — Orby confirms: 'coming from like 1500th a year ago, or 1800th... he's now 180th in the world my guy you knocked my socks off'
- **[design_philosophy]** Orby strongly defends King Kong pinball against Kaneda's repeated criticism, suggesting design philosophy differences in what constitutes entertaining/quality pinball (confidence: medium) — Orby states: 'If you're not impressed by King Kong, I'm not impressed by you' and contrasts Kaneda's negativity with Don's positive approach to game discussion

Coming to you from beautiful River Hibbert's, Nova Scotia. Welcome back, Pinball Nerds, to episode 616 of your fifth favorite pinball podcast. My name's Orbital Albert, and I am the Jack Black of pinball podcasting. And with me today is my ever-patient, beautiful partner, Drop Target Danielle. Welcome to the show. Thank you very much for having me. Well, the reason I had you today is because I recently finished my once annual pledge drive to help. The most of the reason I raised this money is so that you, honey, don't think I'm completely wasting my time sitting here talking into this microphone a hundred times a year. I really appreciate that. Thank you. so to each and every single solitary person that donated i'm going to say your name very quickly and at the end of the show i'm not only going to say your name again i'm going to say your donation amount i'm going to say your message and i might even sing you a little song we'll drop target danielle will probably have to be long gone by then because she loves hearing me sing as much as she loves a 12-hour pinball tournament that is so true you love pinball tournaments as long as they are in the what the four to six range or just expand on that a little um yeah something like that i don't know four hours is a good yeah after that i'm good that's kind of like me like if i'm at a museum or i'm at an art gallery i don't care how big it is i don't care how many rooms there are i don't care how long the lineups are four hours and i'm like what's for lunch yeah that's pretty much it let's go get Korean barbecue baby did you know there's a barbecue pinball machine I've heard of it yes I didn't know if that got by you or not I thought you might have heard of it now do you think it would have been better if it was Korean barbecue maybe I don't well for me personally yes because I prefer Korean barbecue but you never know well I'm just going to very quickly thank everybody So actually tribe members, shout out Ari Jones, Darren Walker, Antonio Verdesco, Drew, of course, the name came through as Andrew, but you would know him as Drew Sedolia, Michael Hendrickson, Death Save Pinball Streaming. And by the way, thank you Death Save Pinball Streaming for that other dono. I know it's been almost a month since I recorded. I apologize. Danielle can attest. we here on the homestead have been extremely busy planting plants, popping seeds, getting everything ready to get going. I have particularly been extremely busy between maple syrup and seedlings the last few weeks, honey. Oh, yeah. We've been very busy with the maple sap back in February, March, and then starting our seeds and getting them to grow. And it's been a lot of fun. We have a really good start this year. Thank you. so also I wanted to thank Jason Von Lembke I think that's Dutch or maybe German but thank you Jason Russell Dagger, Scott Avery Darby Stewart and extra special thanks to Antonio he was the largest the largest one of them all so thank you so much for that Antonio but honestly was I almost in tears each day like not quite but like almost you know like when Leonardo DiCaprio in the Titanic went down. Maybe you didn't start bawling because you were hoping the girl you were with thought you were not afraid of anything. But you almost teared up. I did anyways. I almost teared up. But every day when you told me these new donos came through, it honestly made me feel like, hey, maybe you weren't wasting your time every time you recorded the 50 or so times you recorded in the last year leading up to that. And I think for you being my partner, when you can see that money come in, that helps you believe, like, okay, it gives some value to all the time and energy I spend watching pinball streams, playing pinball tournaments, and of course, researching, recording, and uploading every podcast. Oh, absolutely. It was very reassuring, I suppose, to see that. And it was really nice, and we really appreciate it. So thank you to everyone who contributed. Absolute bottom of my heart. Thank you, thank you, thank you, everybody. Now, let's move forward. A couple things we're going to talk about today is Zyron Silvers. And by the way, Drop Target Danielle, I'm going to let you go for a little. I'm going to do Zyron Silvers because I know he doesn't have all day to listen to this. He is there at Yagpin. I'm going to have you back maybe later for a couple questions. Sounds good. All right. Thank you so much for joining the show and just thanking all the pinball nerds. And just tell them how much you love them and keep listening. Thank you so much. We love you. Keep listening. Enjoy the rest of this episode. Whoop, whoop. Thanks, baby. All right, and that way in case Draco Franchi wakes up from his nap and needs to go outside for a little bathroom break. Here, I'll just move the microphone closer to me. Much closer to Danielle there because I do not know what an indoor voice is. In fact, perhaps the only person louder than me in all pinball is Joe Chervino, the dotest of the dotes. but going back to Zyron Silvers many of you will remember I had the pleasure of interviewing super rad, super fun skateboarder dude is it Portland? No, Oregon? somewhere up there, I'm sorry I forget exactly where Utah? I don't know, somewhere up there, never eat sour worms I think he's on the west coast but anyways, Zyron contacted me and reminded me he's ready for his one year update and I challenged him. I said, I think if you work really hard, buddy, you could get into the top 250 in the world. And my dude worked so freaking hard. Did you want to start the rice and everything for that thing? Okay, okay, thank you. Just because I don't want that. I know the rice takes way longer than the meat. I already took the chicken out earlier. What is it called? I even forget what it's called now that I mentioned it. We're having a little bit of peanut satay. boy that sounds peanut satay I don't know it's some type of we're having some type of curry and rice and whatever some healthy stuff but very excited for that and I'm very excited because I'm trying to think of the theme song of like Inspector Gadget do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do do anyways of course every time there's a big tournament, I try to nab a pin turn. And this time, it fell into my lap. Zyron Silver's dad actually got a hold of me, and he said, I bet you Zyron would be down with doing some type of interviews and stuff like that. And I said, that's great. I like to have a pin turn at these big events. And I had recently just been talking to Zyron, who updated me and reminded me to go, look, not only is he in the top 250 in the world, coming from like 1500th a year ago, or 1800th I think a year ago or whenever I challenged him a year and a month ago 13 months ago he's now 180th in the world my guy you knocked my socks off I thought maybe you could squeeze into the top 250 you're 180 and shout out to all of my friends all of my old pinball family from London, Ontario good old the Forest City L. itself Toronto's little sister as we call it good old London, Ontario, halfway between Detroit, hanging out there with Franchi, and Toronto, with Craig Bobby. Where's Craig Bobby? I've got to start doing interviews, if nothing else, to get Craig Bobby out of the woods and back on the microphone. I want to hear from him. I don't want to wait and see to hear from you anymore, Craig Bobby. I want to hear from you. I've been trying to wait and see, and I didn't hear from you anywhere. I thought there were some rumblings he might start his own pinball podcast or join a crew, like a triple drain type of deal or something like that. And we never heard from the guy. He used to make such incredible content. But I know it would take him literally 5, 10, 15 hours to do a 3- to 5-minute bit that you'd hear on the pinball show each week. And obviously, that's ridiculously time-consuming. And even though I always joked it was my favorite part of the pinball show, I wasn't really joking. It really was. I loved hearing from Greg Bobby. Not just because he was Canadian, but it was such a cool, condensed news thing that was produced very well, and it was funny, and it was interesting. But anyways, missing you, Craig Bobby, and I'm also missing you, my boy, Zyron Silvers. So Zyron is at Yagpin. So Zyron, without further ado, here's your missions, buddy. Do-do-do-do-do. That's, I, why can't I even think of Mission Impossible? Wait, we could have done the double, I need Craig Bobby. Dun-da-la-dun-dun-da-la-dun-dun-dun. He would like, he would do like a, like some type of really, like, really get in there. dun dun dun dun dun dun dun dun dun dun dun dun dun dun dun dun dun dun dun dun dun dun alright Zyron number one on the list my dude you gotta get an interview with the pinball shenanigans himself Mike Dimas tell him I'm not gonna say it has to be a long interview it's up to you whether you want to do video or just audio it can just be on your phone I will warn you pinball background noise is very loud so Zyron or anyone listening to this if you want to do pinball content move the people you're going to interview as far away from the working pinball machines as possible so as not to be distracting and so we can kind of sort of a little bit hear what they're saying so that's number one you got to do even just a one or two minute interview you choose the questions uh you know you can bring me up if you want to you can say albert put me up to this but use me as your excuse as your water breaker okay really cool dude he has a youtube uh video channel Pinball Channel, Pinball Shenanigans. Check it out. Of course, most of you listening to this have heard of him, but I won't say that he was my old guru. I don't know if that's the right term, but probably 12 of the 15 pinball machines I bought and sold came directly from Mike, and many of the ones that I rented as well. So I think, I mean, all of them, right? But anyways, that's number one. Number two on the list, okay? Number two on the list is you have to get a selfie because of where you are in good old Alberta, you got to get a selfie with an Edmonton Oilers fan. And there's two levels to this. A, with an Edmonton Oilers jersey or shirt, but ideally a jersey. And the second level is if you could get a selfie. And I don't know if they're playing again in Edmonton. I should know this as being a massive Edmonton Oilers. They're not because they just won the series. They just won the series, right? Edmonton Oilers just won the series last night against LA. 4-1. We just saw it. Oh, yeah. Yeah, they're going on to round three. So, no. Okay. There you go. Try to get a selfie with someone wearing a jersey or a shirt of Edmonton Oilers because they're not going to have their face painted because there's no games this week. But if someone has their face painted, that's your bonus level. That's your extra wizard mode, okay? If you can do that, that's your extra balls, Iron. All right. Number three on the list. you have to, oh, this one's very, very, very simple. You have to ask Tom from Fox Cities Pinball five questions of your choice. So just do a five question, like, you know, here's an example, but this is part of your mission, but here's an example, like just off the top of my head. Why did you, what in God's world made you think you had to come all the way up to Canada to record us Canadians playing pinball or something like that. Or how's your Yagpin been going? Or what's it like trying to live stream and do commentating and also play in a tournament at the same time when it's a major Stern event? That sort of thing. Okay, number four, Zyra, number four. This is what I kind of call dealer's choice. I want you to do five 30-second interviews or pinterviews, ideally with decent sound if possible. 30-second to a minute, like three to five question interviews with anyone you find intriguing, anyone you think is fun. Yes, it could be someone you've met and talked to before. Yes, it could be someone new. It's really up to you. And then this is perhaps the hardest one. This one in an ideal world, we would have video and audio, but audio, just audio is fine. I just want you to do a quick, even one-minute interview with whoever wins. And all of these will get played right here on the Poor Men's Pinball Network on Pinball Nerds Podcast, okay? So do your best to make the audio decent. It doesn't have to be incredible. Make sure they're nice and short. I'm not going to play like a, I don't know, I guess if you had a 15-minute interview, that was a banger, cool, but, like, I'm just talking about little short ones we can listen to and have a laugh and have fun. And make sure you add humor to all this. And if you come up with your own thing that you want to do, and it's cooler than any of the ideas I quickly came up with right now, go at it, my guy. Because not only is Zyron a world-class pinball player, but he's super young, he loves it, he's passionate about it, he loves spreading the word of pinball, if you will, but he's also a really good rapper, and he actually rapped at the end. So I guess your extra ball, Zyron, would be to wrap again. Give me a one-minute wrap, a 30-second wrap, a 45-second wrap. You can do it at home. You don't have to do it at Yagpin Live or anything, but maybe make it about Yagpin, about your experience of going to Canada. I don't know if you've been to Canada before. If you haven't been to Canada before, you can mention something funny about it. Try to make it funny. Try to make it interesting. It doesn't have to be high quality or anything like that, of course. We are here on the Poor Men's Pinball Network where I'm talking to you at a $40 snowball microphone. so and my voice as you can hear she got him but the good news is i'll ask myself because drop target danielle's over there being super rad she not only worked all day helped me did the intro for the podcast and his cooking dinner like that's supposed to be my job house husband hello but i will say it right here right now what you drinking That's right, I've got a chick shake. Now, can men drink chick shakes? Sure. But, is it recommended? Maybe not by them. I don't really know what that means, but I think it just means white. So, IPA Blanche, or white IPA, is a chick shake. Maybe that's like a French... Could be something to do with that, because the name of the brewery is Brasseau, which means brewery. De la Cote, honey? Cote C-O-T Brossard de la Cote Oh, it does have a picture of a boat on the coast So it Brewery of the Coast In French they say everything backwards or in English we say everything backwards I not sure but So what does this mean What is a chick shake Does chick mean white in French No. Well, what is a chick shake? Chic. Chic? Chic? No, it's not chic. Oh, sorry, it says chic. Chic shake. What's a chic shake? Well, shake it for me, baby. Ah, ah, ah. I like it. It looks cute, like the packaging, but... All the pinball nerds say I'm fly for a white guy. I don't know, come try it and tell me. Have a little sip and... Drop Target didn't only have two drinks, but that's okay because she had a vape and a chocolate bar maybe in Minecraft. Anyways, let's get back to it. So, Zyron, there's your five things. I just want to give a quick shout out to... I had quite a few friends that were playing there. You know what? Here it is. Okay, okay, okay. So, Carter Castleman is... This is the Yagpin Match Play Championship, the main event. Now, a lot of people may not have got their turn. I guess it is rounds, so. But I was going to say Carter Castleman is way up there in first. Let me just update this for a second. And before I skip this topic as well, I probably didn't do a great job. Sometimes I'm not good, especially because it's been almost a month now since I got the last dono. it filled my heart beyond belief I wanted to thank everyone for doing that you guys don't know like I do not make very much money I'm not a super wealthy dude if I'm lucky I'll help make a couple thousand dollars profit if that from Angry Alpaca or Coffee and Tea Company and if I'm lucky you know just all the like gathering of blackberries and raspberries and blueberries and strawberries and tomatoes and peppers and apples and everything that I make here on the homestead between, you know, maybe it saves four or five hundred dollars a year. That's about it. So it's not like I'm saving tens of thousands of dollars a year. I don't know, maybe with the maple syrup, if you include the maple syrup that we have in our Christmas gift box and stuff, maybe a thousand dollars a year. So I don't make a lot of money. But what I do provide for our family is invaluable. And that, of course, is parenting our two children, being a pretty decent house husband, being a decent dad doggy, right, to Franchi and Elowen. So, but someday I am really looking forward to getting back to work. And I guess this does bring me around to something that really irritated me. I was recently in one of Kaneda's live streams and one of the people there, when I said, I mentioned something about being a stay-at-home dad and a house husband. They said, yeah, stay at home dad to two adults. Okay, first of all, a 16-year-old and a 20-year-old is not two adults. Believe me, if you've hung out with a 16-year-old, they're definitely not an adult. And many 20-year-olds still do need a lot of help navigating the finer things in life, okay? They don't need help like day to day. You don't have to brush their teeth or like hold their hand crossing the road, obviously. But I will say this when my sons were like six and ten they literally lived to like impress me and like hang it with me and they they want to be my best friend I think parenting them was easier than now parenting now is like navigating like both of their careers navigating juggling their girlfriends or partners navigating them going to school navigating you know just helping them get through this tough time in life when I've got to partially basically kick their butt and get them out the door to school or work or whatever it is they have to do. Then at the same time, make sure they're paying their bills, make sure they're taking care of everything. Even Owen himself at 16, he plays all of his own phone bills. From time to time, he'll be a bit short at the end of the month and he'll ask for his very small amount of allowance or payment from the next time he'll work for me at Cosmic Collectibles or with Angry Alpaca, he'll ask for that ahead of time. And what I wanted to say is I think that Canada's chat has got really toxic. And not just because, but partially because, Jamie Birchall of the JBS show, as well as Kale from the Electric Bat, and Retro Ralph from Retro Ralph, of course, they have all unsubscribed from Canada because they feel like himself and his chat and his rhetoric has just got too toxic. Basically, what they're saying is what I've been saying for years. Sometimes you get stuck in a rut and he becomes a bit too much of a negative Nancy and a Debbie Downer. And you can say pinball prices are way too freaking high, and you can do it in a constructive criticism way that isn't beating a dead horse till it's dead, and just beating it over and over and over. And that's what I try to do here on the show. So to be in solidarity, not just with Jamie and Cale, but also because like, honestly, like, first of all, first of all, Canadian has been, I started thinking I'm going to leave the group when I heard them say that. Then the following Saturday, he called me and everyone else a chump. And I said, dude, that's just not very rad. You're calling people a chump. And I'm not even going to do him any, like, I'm not even going to, like, play it here. But he went on to say, oh, am I picking on people or be, oh, or orbiter? Because he can't say orbital. It's like saying water for him. But the point is, I don't want to be negative or rude to him in return. I'm just not going to give him any of my money. So I unsubscribe from him. And you know what? I'm going to take that money and I'm going to surprise my family tonight. and we're all subscribing instead to Disney+. There's tons of shows on there I want to watch. I never got to finish Skeleton Antonio Cruz, so I couldn't tell you how good or bad it was. There's lots of stuff I want to watch on there. Summer's coming. Lots of good shows are there, and I really want to watch it. And honestly, what's better? For me to be able to listen to him say the same three or four things over and over and over again. I mean, if you're not impressed by King Kong, I'm not impressed by you. Like, this is, I, you know what, I'm going to rate Elowen's Machines right now. Do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-do-topics. Mini top five. Elowen's top five machines. Now, Don thought he had a hot take, and he said that Jaws was better than Godzilla. Well, I'm going to one-up you, my boy Don. And here's the thing, you got Kaneda over here being negative and rude, and calling everybody chumps, and you got Don over here being rad, and it's like, well, I'm sorry, but I'd probably rather support Don. Do you know what I mean? Not that Don, he's not always necessarily an angel per se, but in comparison, why would I waste my money and more importantly my time being in Kaneda's chat when everyone there is just going to be a negative and rude and toxic and it's almost turned into like MAGA Central. It's really weird. So I just don't want to be part of that. So congratulations. Sorry, Kaneda. It wasn't just, Jamie didn't just talk kale and retro Ralph into unsubscribing from you, but one of your biggest frenemies of all time. And I thought we were friends, dude. Like recently he's just only been negative and rude to me. He's never been nice to me anymore. So like even like six or seven months ago when I used to chime in on stuff from time to time, he'd concede and go, yeah, Albert, you are right about that. And now like he's rude to me 90% of the times. It's like, I don't even have to F with that. Plus my market year starts soon. So like, I'm not available Saturdays to probably December now. Oh, by the way, this Saturday, two days from today, the 15th, on the 17th, Saturday the 17th, pinball tournaments are coming back to Moncton. That's right. You can go and look under Facebook under the Fundy Flippers page, and you can find a link to the Hub City Pinball, and make sure that if you live anywhere in the East Coast of Canada, I'm talking to you, all my pinball nerd buds who live in New Brunswick I'm talking to you, my St. Johners my Frederick Tinners and yes, my Haligonians down there in Halifax get your butts up here support guys, we really want to see support if Zero's Arcade, and I'm just guessing here I know Joel, he's an awesome dude the guy who owns it but if they're opening way earlier all these Saturdays for us to come in here and do these tournaments we want to make sure it's worth their time and money because Joel either has to come in himself five or six hours early when he was probably there till three or four the night before at a big concert or what has to happen is he has to pay for someone to come in and either way we want to just you know we haven't had when was the last time there was a pinball oh when was the last time there was a pinball tournament in Halifax that or sorry in Moncton that might have been when I won the New Brunswick pinball championship so it's been almost two years It's been like 18, 19 months. So please, if you live in Fredericton, get out there. I think the very following weekend, again, you'll have to check maybe online. You can always go to ifpa.com, the ifpapinball.com, I believe it is, and check the schedule here in Canada. But there is another pinball tournament that's coming up the very next weekend on the Saturday in Fredericton at Flippin's Arcade. So I'm hoping to go to that as well. if, again, because the market started, if I can get someone to cover my shift. If not, I might have to skip that one. But I will be in Moncton on Saturday. Thank you. I believe his name is David, is the gentleman running. I totally forgot. I don't know him that well. But thank you for someone for stepping up. When I go to these pinball tournaments, it's like a religious experience for me. I'm enjoying my gummies in Minecraft, my vapes in Minecraft. Obviously, that would just be nicotine in there. No, you know what? I haven't had any nicotine in like a year and three months. It's been like 50. That's crazy. Like nothing. Like not even a little, just like not even a little, just drunk hit, hit of a vape or like a, uh, nothing. So anyways, cheers to me. Hopefully I keep that up. Probably won't, but hopefully I keep it up. Oh, Yankpin. I was just going to go over a couple of my friends at Yankpin quickly here. I did just to put a little bow on that. I did unsubscribe from Canada. I've done this about 15 times in our eight years of tumultuous friendship this. I guess I think of Kaneda the way I think of watching the show The Jersey Shore. I don't agree with half the shit they do on there. Oh, there's my one square word for the day. Sorry, guys. I don't agree with most of the stuff they do on The Jersey Shore show, but I find it entertaining. It's like a car crash. I can't look away. And that's what it is like with Kaneda. But when it gets to the point where from time to time when I make a good point, he can't even concede to me. It's just like fake news, fake news, fake news, fake news, make it make it make it make it make it it's just like it's turned into like a really negative den of like like i was yelled at and called woke in there yet i didn't say anything at all left or right the funny thing is i'm at this point most likely going to vote right of center in the next canadian election especially if tim houston uh the premier from the province here who i've had the pleasure of meeting several times and is a super rad dude especially if he's running i'll probably vote conservative so anyways i don't like i'm not here to talk about politics i didn't hit on my head on the ice today, so I won't be doing that, but I absolutely just don't want to be part of the Kaneda thing for right now, so I honestly just don't plan on being part of the Saturday mornings anymore. Maybe I'll watch them after the fact or something, but I don't know. I just, I don't, I unsubscribe from him. Jamie, thank you for encouraging me to do that. Kel, thank you for stepping up and doing that, and Retro Ralph, thank you for doing that. Retro Ralph still talks about Canada all the time on his podcast and I haven't even got a single solitary shout out on there no that is a lie that is a big lie I lied to you a couple days after my last podcast on the JBS show they were live at Stern for did I call it Donkey Kong King Kong for the King Kong reveal and they did a live just sitting there on the floor and I made a joke about Kale's uh chest hair because They were talking about dyeing each other's hair. And I said, yeah, but does Kale dye his chest hair? Because if you remember, when he did that response to Kaneda's freakout, when he got so mad because he didn't win the stupid Twippy Award for Best Podcast for like the 11th time, he freaked out and Kale went and said, hey guys. Kale just trying to be the forever optimist and the peacemaker was like, hey guys, stop bugging Kaneda. It's fine. We won. We really appreciate that we won. But just, you know, stop putting salt on the wounds. this dude is upset leave him alone and uh he did this this instagram post or whatever with his shirt off in the backyard and i found that funny af whoa in the time that i took a sip of beer and went on that little canada ramp anyways bye canada don't let the door hit you on the way out bubby but and it's so funny that he went on rants for years about people putting pinball machines in front of windows. He did his entire live stream last Saturday with, you could see the guns, you could see the UV rays actually making the paint start to bubble. It's inches away from this hot shining window directly facing the sun 90% of the time of the day. I don't care if he says he put on a thin film or something like that. go put a thin film on your sunglasses and stare at the sun for 30 hours a day you're going to be blind af the side of that pinball machine he's got to spin it around and have it the other way for the exact same number of years to have equal fading on that side and it's like dude you made fun of people for doing this and now you record your shows where people can see it happening but it's kind of like sock watch all over again do do do do do do do do okay so while i went on that rant, Carter Castleman, perhaps and probably one of the top pinball players from Canada, well definitely perhaps, usually the top from Ontario, we're really close to being up there, went from first to fifth, I cannot believe this, Z-Max, Zach McCarthy himself, I didn't even know he was at Yagbin, he must have just walked off the airplane late, and he is up there in first place with 30 points. One behind him, someone I haven't heard of, Conrad Rustad. Dude, Conrad, you have rad in your name. And then Rustad, you have tad in your name. You have tad, he has just a tad of rad. And that is how much you need to be a cool dad. Hey, I got a laugh from Danielle. That doesn't happen often. I saw you laughing out there. All right. so and then fourth down is Sanjay Shah uh I got to not only play with him but I got to meet him uh my buddy Peace there introduced me to him they used to work at the same arcade there in Pittsburgh that was pretty cool he's a really nice guy dude and uh Carter Kasselman down to fifth Jeff Teolas what's going on down there in sixth Jack Tadman again Jeff Teolas Jack Tadman and Carter Kasselman are definitely three of some of the best players there um there's tons of other I don't want to forget about any Ontario players, because there's so many incredible players there. But then next is Luke Nahorniak and my boy, Andrew Foska. All the way from, is it Robert Englunds or Wales or Scotland or Ireland? I don't remember, because when he first met me, he said, hello, mate. Okay, maybe he didn't do that. Is that Australian? I don't know. But he said, hello, I am the champion of Wales. And I was like, hello, I'm the champion of New Brunswick. And he's like, hello, I'm the champion of Scotland. I was like, you're the champion of Scotland and Wales? He goes, I'm not done yet. Am I? And Ireland. And I said, and Andrew, please, if you listen to this, I'm sorry. Come on the show. I should have had Andrew on here. And then it was like Wales and then Leeds and then Scotland and then that little island besides Scotland that's kind of its own country, but it's not. And he like he traveled to like London Robert Englunds to be their champion then to Scotland to be their champion He traveled all over I don know if he was just kidding near the end like because he saw me laughing at it but anyways Andrew incredible awesome dude shout out to Andrew just like such good people such he was in my pin masters round no, he was in, yeah, he was in my pin masters round, day one, my front nine, on, actually on live stream, and just three back, and my boy, Nick Greenan, and then Carter Castleman's dad, Mike. And Mike and Carter, of course, I did that live stream where Jack Danger came in the night before, actually, we did NASACs, or the North American Champion Gyps. When Hayden and I were driving across the country, we popped by the Castleman's, the Pinballers, or Pinballers Twitch channel, and got to play a little bit of Foo Fighters with them. And Debra Tallman, not only the number one woman, actually she's, no, she's one point ahead of Ashley Weaver. So Debra's in, not Deb, I've been told. I remembered, I remembered Debra, don't worry. She is in 12th, and Ashley Weaver is just behind her. So good for her. So those are the top two women duking it out. They're in a couple spots down in 18th. Jim Balsito, other notable names tied with Jim Balsito is my boy Mike Dimas of Bimbo Shenanigans. Already talked about him once today. Steven Bowden is right there, tied at 18. Germain Germain, Germain. Mary Ole. I think he helps with IFPA or Wasop or not Wasop. I don't know why I'm talking about poker. I played too much poker in the last week. Haiti. Syed Ali. I believe he has a pinball podcast. Formally on the Pinball Network. They've gone. So much has changed. I've been gone for a month, guys, and so much has changed. What hasn't changed? Oh, Barry Bedard. Not too far down there. and Phil Birnbaum. See, Barry Bedard, Shane Jackson, and Phil Birnbaum, three incredible players from Ontario. Watch, like, Ontario is dominating this. So, Shane Jackson is the owner and proprietor, as well as typical tournament director at Maple Pinball in Mississauga, just, I think it's Mississauga, just outside of Toronto. Barry Bedard is an incredible player from that area-ish. Phil Birnbaum, I believe, is from Ottawa. Incredible, incredible classics players. Honestly, one of the best classics players on earth and has been for a long time still very very very good at modern but just I would say even slightly better and there's my boy what's going on Zyron come on you know it's legal up here you can have as much as you want you don't gotta hide about it buddy it's all good so Zyron Silvers is up in the land of where it's legal enjoy my friend I'm sure wherever he's from it probably is as well but Zyron get in there dude tied for 43rd and I'm telling you right now wherever Zyron is, I would be back at least 20 spots of that. My boy Duncan McFarlane down there in 43rd. I can't just keep saying names. Someone's going to get mad. I'm not supposed to talk about tournament pinball. Carrie Hill down there in 83rd. She's from the Neon Ranch, of course, proprietor and tournament director there. I believe she's a proprietor. Pretty sure. But she's super rad. Got to play with her, of course, at Pemmasters. And there's more here. There's more. Dave Grant. Julie Dorser is my nemesis. My old frenemy. Sorry, Julie. Kaneda's taken over your spot as number one frenemy. Julie and I had beefed it out a couple times. We beefed it, but it's all good. You know what? We made up a little bit. She teased me a bit a couple times. I hear you, Julie. I wish it was like, that's the thing is like, I'm not sexist. Okay. Girl, guy, man, woman, child, if you're thrown shade my way, I'm going to shade you back. I treat everybody the same I'm sorry that's just how I am Robert Gagno oh my god formerly number one in Canada Pinberg winner wizard mode you know millions of views I think on his about him dealing with autism and everything he's down there at 113th that is a little bit like surprising to see him that low but again I don't know how many Anna Neal's down there what am I talking about like Anna Neal's incredible I think she's top 1,000 in the world as well. You know what? It just must be very... And he could just be having an off couple. Jason McKay, who's incredible. Trevor McDonald's really good down there in 133rd. Neil Graff is 133rd. Okay, this is not surprising to be seeing these people down here. Neil Graff is like 100 times better than me. Wherever he is, I'm 50 spots down to him. So, yeah, there's less names down at the bottom here that I know. But we're 172. Good for them, guys. get your butt to Pinberg next year. Get your butt to Yagpin next year. I'd really, really, really like to go and bring either my wife or one of my sons and make it like a fun trip and really plan it out ahead of time. This year I am, if at all, only going back once for my halfway to 90 birthday party in July back in Ontario. I'm not going for any big pinball tournaments. Oh my God, Bob Matthews is down at 225. Wow. Okay, okay, okay, okay, okay. Let's get back into this for a second. Let's get it back on the tracks. Let's get back into our Elwynn top five. That's right. So I truly believe that Elwynn's worst pin, and I'm sorry to say this because you know me, I love comic books. I love comic themes. I love the art, but overall I've never found one AIQ setup 100% great. Either that straight up 180 ramp on the premium LEs doesn't work great, or it shakes and rattles when you're trying to put it up by the magnet. The banana ramp shot, I don't know. It's kind of cool, but it kind of gets... I don't know. It's kind of cool. But it's kind of like the ball just kind of... like barely gets up there. It's kind of semi-firm. That's what I think of semi-firm cheese, among other things. But anyways, AIQ number five. Number four, Elowen Pins. Let's do it. come on, some people are going to be mad at me, but I think it's Iron Maiden, Iron Maiden, so Iron Maiden has incredible shots, I still think the pop shot to the left is just not friendly for newer players, I have been playing for a long time, I've played in like 200 tournaments, I don't know how many of those were sanctioned, but most of them, I've played thousands upon thousands of hours of live streaming pinball. I've done thousands and thousands of games outside of that. Excuse me. Not a day goes by, including Mother's Day. Shout out to all those moms out there, including especially Drop Target Danielle, my sisters, my aunties. I did want to give a really special, just a little mini shout out. My Aunt Jan, who had been sick for some time. That was part of the reason why I didn't record a week and a half ago. she didn't have a large service, and it's across the country, and I'm not traveling back for it, unfortunately. But I just wanted to give a shout out. My Aunt Jan is no longer here, and I just wanted to... There you go. That's part of the reason why I wasn't back. I just wanted to be honest with you guys. I try to be honest. You guys always say part of the reason why we love you is you're authentic, and when I was given this news a while ago, I was ready to record, and I didn't. and let's get back into Elowen's Oak, because I've gone off track. So number five, AIQ, All Day. Number four, Iron Maiden. I like the art, but I don't love the art. I like the animations, but I don't love the animations. I don't mind the music once in a while, but I don't love it. You guys know I don't love metal, okay? I'm first and foremost a punk rocker, then like indie rocker, and then there's a various, there's tons of other styles I like a lot more than metal. I'd rather, I'm one of those dudes who'd rather a T-Swift or a Billy Eilish pin than an Iron Maiden pin. And I still think the modes are incredible though. So overall it's still an incredible pin. Don't get me wrong. I still think it's number four. Number three is where most people are going to disagree. But it's Godzilla for me all day. I never fell in love with Godzilla. Now say what you will about Marty Robbins. And where the hell's final round Jeff Teolas? I got chosen over. I got chosen over for Pinside Petey. Pinside PD beat me on the list of potential co-hosts, and you've never recorded again. Come on, let's go. No, I'm just kidding. But seriously, for my birthday. Can we do an episode for my birthday, Jeff? Let's do that. And speaking of birthday presents, you may have heard Danielle and I, Drop Target Danielle and I, could be heading back to Ontario for my birthday. We're considering driving as crazy as it is, taking turns driving. We did actually get some things fixed on the Rolla this week, or as you might know it as the Corolla. We're up to 347,000 kilometers. How many miles is that? Like probably 250, 240. So we've got lots of miles on. I will just say this. If you ever wanted to save some money to have extra money for pinball machines, buy yourself a Corolla. It doesn't have to be new in box. In fact, you'll probably lose money that way. Buy a gently used one- to two-year-old Corolla at a sweet spot at a really good price. You can even buy up to a five-year-old one. I think we bought like a two-year-old one. I think we got this one that had 30,000 kilometers. We put on the other 310,000 kilometers. I've changed the headlight. I've changed the brakes. I've changed the oil. And maybe twice we've done the brake fluid. And that's it on this car. Oh, we added a trailer hitch so I could bring pinball machines out here with us. But, like, I'm just saying, I'm not that great at, like, changing the oil on time and, like, oil undercoating and everything. and this car has allowed me, a super poor dude who hardly makes any money, to be able to buy, sell, and trade multiple pinball machines during that entire time. So I'm absolutely stoked about that, and hopefully I'm going to be coming back there. Where I was going with this is, when I'm going to be back there, it happens to be that the Bare Naked Ladies will be playing a concert in Toronto. So what I want to do is see if there's any way, shape, or form, I know Jeff Teolis is kind of buddies with Ed, so I want to say and one time once during the twippies Ed did say and remember to eat sleep and breathe pinball in that order which makes me believe he may have listened to the podcast at least once or twice maybe not hopefully but maybe not and so I would love it and I'm sorry Roy and say I'm sure you'd love this and who did he do that podcast with I'm Jesse J I'm sorry Jesse J. I had a brain fart. I forgot your thing for a while, but they had this whole joke about how it would be funny to say just these two words. So Teolis, if you talk to Ed, if you tell him it would be the biggest pleasure of my entire life, it'd be the most rad thing that ever happened to me. Okay? Ever. I've had a lot of rad things that happened to me in my life. If I could go on stage just to say two little words, two little words, I want to go up on stage and say it's been one week's you know I want to do that part and then just walk off stage I don't I have a horrible singing voice I mean you can hear it when I'm talking right now but I just want to go up there and say if he wants to say this is uh a friend of a friend Albert he doesn't have to say or be a pinball nerds podcast or anything but you know buddy of mine Albert that I just beat backstage while playing pinball and he's going to open up the song he's going to say the first two words and the whole band knows about it like they're in on it and I just go yeah oh wait hold on hold on I have like a miniature frog in my throat it's because we're so close to New Brunswick and they're very French there but it's been okay I'll work on it I'll work on it Ed if you're Ed if you're listening I'll work on it but wouldn't that be so cool if I got to go on stage and start this song that like the whole everybody who listened to pinball podcast back then would be in on this little tiny joke, and I would invite every pinball nerd, the Joe Cherveno, the Dote himself, Craig Bobby, Jeff Teolis, Duncan McFarlane, Sean Russell, Mike Dimas, all my pinball nerd buds who live in and around Ontario to come to that concert for my birthday. That would just be an incredible, that would maybe be better than winning a pinball tournament on my birthday, to go up on stage and just say, it's been, okay, I'll make sure I work on my throat, don't worry, Ed. all right so we talked about Keith Elwin but we're going to go back to it number five AIQ number four Iron Maiden number three Godzilla I'm sorry that's how that's why I went that way Marty Robbins didn't absolutely love Godzilla that much and I kind of agree with him in a way now I need more time with Godzilla I've maybe played 50 or 60 games but I've paid attention to every one of those games and I just don't love it as much as number two on this list Jaws Jaws I have played and given the opportunity which I've only had maybe twice ever but given the opportunity to play both Godzilla and Jaws I always went to Jaws now maybe Jaws was a newer game at that time I don't know what it is about Jaws something about Jaws I would say I would give Godzilla like a 9.5 and Jaws like a 9.6 but to me it looks like and I'm sorry. Now I have no pinball machines to sell you. I have none in Orbeez Arcade but I think not only from the artwork, not only from the awesome animations, not only from the incredible toys and mechs but from the most interesting and unique yet flowy play field I've ever seen in 10 years of covering this obby. And I actually believe that King Kong will be the king of all the Pinball Kongs. And I think that will be for a long time. I would say from within probably three to six months from now. And I'm sorry, Evil Dead people. I guess I'm not a spooky show. I think Evil Dead looks great. It does not have the flow. It doesn't have the flow of any of Elowins. I'm sorry, it just doesn't. It has cool mechs. It has incredible art, Franchi, incredible art. but what it doesn't have it's a little bit of the je ne sais quoi something special that you're not going to get with an L1 take this with a grain of salt or if you will a little bit of the old Atlantic Ocean the Bay of Fundy for more of you because it is possible that after I played King Kong or Evil Dead both of which I've watched now tons of live streams of that I do like one or the other better than them but what are the chances when I no spooky machine I've ever played ever have I liked nearly as much as any Elowen that automatically I like their newest one better than my favorite Elowen I would say the chances are very low but I could play King Kong and find out I still like Jaws better I could and if that happens there's nothing wrong with that is there oh let me have a little sip of the old Shake Shack Shake Shack wait Shake Shack Shake Shack alright everybody alright here we go let's just talk about it for a second what did you bring here to me dinner is ready oh my god well wait can you come talk for a moment just for a minute okay she going to squeeze in here I just wanted to ask you a couple questions I don know if you been on the show since we were able to thank everybody since last year but if you could just thank everybody not just because we did this year, but every single person, especially the people from the poor man's tribe who donated last year. So I could go to pen masters. And so I could go represent my province and state. Yeah. Thank you so much to everyone from last year throughout the year. Anyone who purchased like any coffee or tea, just supporting us that way and then the most recent one it's awesome, we really appreciate it and you guys rock and thank you so much thanks hun that was, for me I think maybe we've talked about this before but when I found out that the airline got cancelled and I might not get to go represent New Brunswick and there was no cheap flights left anymore, there's no way I could get there by train or bus and I had to drive I was honestly really upset about it and I'll never forget the moment that you turned to me and what did you tell me? I said that you had to go. Because it was a lifelong... It was like a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Yes. So, yeah. Thank you. And you had, like, your son was able to go with you for that experience, which is so cool. Incredible bonding experience. Yeah, that wouldn't have been a thing before had the flight not been canceled, right? That is true. So there you go. Now, on the flip side of that, I was gone for an extra seven or eight days because it took three and a half days to get there and four and a half days to come back and Aiden wanted because he was driving so when I came back a lot of couples I do want to say this the I'm not going to say like the dark side of pinball tournaments we're trying to keep this positive and thank everybody for all their support but when when you come back from a thing like that where you're gone for a couple weeks and you parted your butt off it's hard to come back and just get into that regular lifestyle of being a dad and a homesteader and a husband and cooking the meals and cleaning and it took me a couple days to get into it I wanted to thank you for being patient with me you're welcome awesome well I'm pretty sure the dogs are going to start barking any second because it looks like Aiden is pulling in from work pinball nerds I love you I'm in love with you I did say I was going to read the comments do we have that pulled up somewhere you're going to grab it guys you're going to hear the dogs bark drop target Danielle's going to help me with them probably the dogs are going to probably bark briefly but well there you go I hear Alwin already that means Franchi is soon to come. But I wanted to thank you guys so much. The other thing I wanted to talk about a little bit briefly here was the gameplay from King Kong. And after I saw it, I would say the thing that I found kind of the coolest about it was that left area over there with the river and the option that you can either flip to get it over to the other flipper or to try to hit that really cool Gary Stern try to get that really cool Gary Stern, you know, his face is on that little stand-up target behind the three drops, or you can let it go back behind the river. You can hold it up and just drop it and let it go back to the left and go through that river area and take a shot that way. And I felt like just watching the video of it, I didn't understand how cool that was. And after watching the live stream, I went from thinking, this game is the flowiest I've ever seen, to going, no. now I know it was I think it was Josh Leehan really good tournament player that was playing and my thought was no this guy is such a good player but then I've now watched it on a couple other live streams I think this is a flow monster I've also listened to all the content so thank you for all the content creators who were able to go to Stern thanks again Stern for inviting me and although I'm probably not going to travel much this year it's just nice to know that I was invited and included in the people who were asked to go because I like that I do think that I have a large enough audience and I've been in the game long enough that people respect what I'm saying. They also know that I've signed no NDAs with no companies. I'm not going to peddle Alice and tell you to go buy an Alice in Wonderland because such a cool theme that is with such fun mechs in it. Such a world under glass that is. And then over and above that, what I'm not going to do is I'm not going to tell you, of course, to go out and buy, say, Dune because, wow, the one thing I was wrong about doing about, the artwork is growing on me, that apron is fire, but the one thing I can say without a doubt is that code is even worse than I thought. You heard me say it when I did my first impressions, and I said, wow, there's hardly any call-outs, there's hardly any video, there's hardly any code, there's hardly any modes, there's hardly anything going on in this game yet. And I was probably a little bit too harsh on Jersey Jack when I specifically said that the largest marketing mistake that's ever happened in pinball was Jack's nonchalant, lackluster announcement of Harry Potter being official. I may have been wrong. The largest marketing mistake might well have been not from an amount of money, but in a percentage of sales. And the percentage of sales that Dune could have got from Barrels of Fun if they had waited not even one month or two months, not even three months, but if they had waited four to five months in between Elwynn drops, and they had waited for there to be a, sorry for the pun or hyperbole, pinball desert, they had waited for it to been a couple weeks since any pinball machines had been done, and mostly they had waited until the code was better, the callouts were better, the video was better, imagine how incredible those Dune sales would be, because it is, Dune is a decent, it is a B-level tier thing. So, anyways, I'm going to go ahead here and I'm going to read you guys all the messages from everybody. And then I'm going to let you go. But please, for the love of God, if anything, and I'm going to expand on this later, Jersey Jack Pinball, are you listening? If you're considering releasing Harry Potter before you have all the code done, before you have a good amount of the code. It doesn't have to be all done, but it has to be way more than Dune. It has to have way more callouts than Dune. It has to have way more modes than Dune. It has to have the code way, way, way further away. And probably, possibly the main reason for releasing Harry Potter later would not only so that you get further away from King Kong and Dune and the truffle, truffle, truffle, trough, shuffle, the whatever it is that you call it, the main reason for holding back on Harry Potter would be because in three to six months from now, we've heard George Gomez say before, I believe 60% of sales go overseas. Even if Jersey Jack is 30% lower than that and they're only 40% of their, you know, even if only 30% of their sales are international, in three to six months from now, business owners alike in the United States and the rest of the world will most likely have calmed down the all the BS with the tariffs this is not a political talk this is a financial talk once that happens Jersey Jack will make way more sales because there's so many people in the United States right now that just don't know what's going to happen in the next two to three months I truly believe we've already seen many steps starting to happen these little deals starting to happen. We've already seen Commer, you know, the China deal, the Canada deal, the UK deal. We've already seen Commer heads start to prevail. In three to six months from now, not only will your international sales be significantly higher and probably have much lower tariffs, if any, on them, but primarily in the United States of America, your primary home market will be more likely to be willing to spend money than they were on King Kong. And that brings me around to why I truly believe King Kong didn't sell out. And that is, of course, because if even 30, 40, 50, 60% of sales are international between the UK, Australia, their biggest upcoming market in China, Japan, all those places, and Canada, especially your second biggest market, if the tariff fears are there, then people just aren't going to order. They're going to hold back and wait. And they're going to wait to see what happens. And Americans are doing the same thing. They're just not sure. It doesn't matter which side of the aisle you're on. They're waiting to see what's going to happen with tariffs before they spend large amounts of money right now. So that's why I think King Kong didn't sell out. Not because the artwork's not amazing. Not because the shots aren't great. Not because the collards aren't fun. Not because the animations aren't cool. And certainly not because the story's not good enough. No one cares about the King Kong story. I'm sorry. And I'm also sorry for this voice. All right, one sip, and I'm going to quickly go into reading out the thank yous from everybody. All right, Ari Jones, $55. Thank you so much, Ari. Darren Walker, $68. He said, donation as requested. Now, go buy American products, and Darren, I sure did. Believe me, it didn't matter if it was the cookies or the Pepsi. I am counting every penny, and I'm almost out of those beautiful American dollars. don't know how I'm going to get my future happy meals, but we'll see. Wait, it says right here, Antonio Verdesco. Have a happy meal on me. Thanks for the content, bud. You're welcome, Antonio. And by the way, I checked my email. I didn't see an email from Antonio. Maybe, you know what? Maybe I'm going to fire it off to Drew. Drew just had his birthday. Drew C., I'm going to fire you off a Phantom Tilt t-shirt. Send me your address, buddy. I know you listen. Drew Sedolia, I believe is how you pronounce his name I didn't see you Drew at Yagpin but if you're there, good luck, maybe you haven't started playing yet but Drew 3445, thank you so much Drew Antonio said have a happy meal on me and thanks for the content bud Michael Henriksen said hey man, appreciate the shows, I wish you and your family the best DeathStatePinballStreaming says love the show friend, sorry you don't like my president, I do like Trump, I love him as a reality TV show host. I just don't think he's the best person to be in charge of your finances and your country. Sorry. All right. Not going to talk about politics. As a steel worker, I love what he is doing for steel in our economy. Okay. Yeah. If I was a steel worker in the United States and I was getting more hours, I would love the Cheeto as well, but I'm not. Okay. So hope things get better for you. You know what? They have. Because our prime minister is measured and level-headed and managed to like wrangle the Cheeto long enough to like not hit us harder with more dare. So for right now, everything's going pretty swell. And I got like 50% more donations than I asked for or even expected. Next is Jason Von... Oh, I think I read this last time. I do think I read this last time. It's fairly lengthy, but I will go quickly here. Portal 2 is my favorite game of all time. Portal 1 was just an add-on to Half-Life, but 2 is actually fully fleshed out and it's hilarious and it has a two-player mode, which is a blast. I think he made a mistake trying to copy the Stephen Merchant. Oh, I think it was a mistake to try to copy the Stephen Merchant voice character. His voice is just far too iconic. Okay, I did read this. I did read this. I did read this. P.S. Don't spend this on any American goods. Buy Canadian. We deserve the world's diversion right now. and we deserve to be punished for electing a rapist, racist Cheeto. Cheers, Vaughn. Okay, thanks, Vaughn. That's incredible. Okay, next is Russell Dagger. How about 25 cents an episode? What will you spend your Aussie dollars on? I don't know. Something. I haven't spent the Aussie dollars yet. Very excited about it. Second donation, 16 from Jason. This is the one I hadn't read. You hit your goal. I didn't know you were going to read that on air. P3 does have great customer service, and it's just one but it was just one thing after another diversion i'm from colorado home of too many good pinball players he puts his email and he says if you ever want to talk shop email me jason i should i need to get better at reaching out to people scott avery says orby you're my fifth favorite pinball oh sorry orby fifth favorite pinball podcast is a stretch 88 being your favorite number awesome only because of dale heart Dale Jr. Your political rant was annoying and misguided. Fair enough. I agree with probably both of those. But will never be as bad as Cary Hardy's epic imitation of a three-year-old having come apart when talking about John Wick. Okay. Well, to be fair, Cary Hardy was just hungry because he hadn't had his Chipotle yet that day. And I'm staring here at my peanut satay. And let me tell you, I am getting pretty hungry. so I'm going to try to wrap this up. But Scott says, of course, here, you may be goofy and ignorant at times, but you're genuine, and that's good enough for me. But enough of the BS. Why am I really giving you money? Because Canada perfected the greatest sport in the world, hockey. Okay, that's, I'll take, hey, however and why ever you want to hand me over some bills to thank me for all my hard work, I'll take them. All right, it says, I live in Kansas City, which is a hockey desert compared to anywhere in Canada. Dude, I've got to drive 14 hours to go see Montreal play, and there's no Quebec team anymore, or like go on a three-hour flight to see Toronto play, so I'm also in a little bit of an NHL hockey desert. All right. You may be goofy and ignorant at times, but you're genuine, and that's good enough for me. But enough of the BS. Why am I really giving you money? Because Canada perfected the greatest sport in the world, hockey. I live in Kansas City, which is a hockey desert, compared to anywhere in Canada. At least I have season tickets to the KC Mavericks. This is part of the ECHL, where I cheer my butt off for mostly Canadian players. Oh, that's awesome. Happy to help push you over the $500 mark. Thank you, Scott. And remember, kids, you can't spell hockey without KC. Your hero and mine, Scott. Thanks, Scott. We don't have to agree on politics for you to, like, donate to me or listen to my show. like I'm all over the board I used to be a libertarian then I was a green then I was a Bob Libbe I I'm very strongly considered to vote for conservative next and I mean really libertarians further to the right than even most liberal especially or even conservative here in Canada but Darby Stewart 34 45 I enjoy your podcast I'm happy to help your open and honest commentary is always appreciated and entertaining thanks and I look forward to more I should put that on a shirt Derby.
