## Analysis

Pastimes Arcade presents a historical overview of the 1999 Sega Harley-Davidson pinball machine, tracing its lineage through Data East (founded 1985 from Stern Electronics) and Sega (acquired Data East in 1994). The game is positioned as historically significant: the last machine produced by Sega before Gary Stern purchased the division to establish Stern Pinball, and the first game released under the new Stern Pinball brand. The machine proved successful enough to warrant two additional production runs in 2002 and 2004.
