## Transcript

Hey everybody, welcome to the Spooky Fan Club video series. I'm your host, Bug. You may know me from the Spooky Pinball Podcast, the Spooky Movie Podcast, or you may have seen me at pinball conventions before. I'm Charlie Sun, who's the CEO of Spooky Pinball, and I'm going to be your host for this video series. And now, first and foremost, I'd like to talk about this is not an official episode. This is not the official setup of how things will be done for the episode. What this is is a bit of a sneak peek look into what you can expect to see from this video series. So the reason you're seeing this today is because right now everybody's locked down. Everybody's stuck at home. We thought we'd give everybody a little bit of an exclusive look to what's going to go on with the series, what's going on with Spooky right now. So, in the future, to see these videos, you need to be a fan club member. What that means is you have to join the Spooky Pinball Fan Club. That way you can actually see these videos on YouTube. Otherwise, if you're not a fan club member, you will not have access to these videos until 90 days after those who do have access have seen it. So you'll be very late to all the videos. So be sure to sign up for the fan club so you can get an exclusive look at all the videos. So what can you expect to see from the Spooky Fan Club video series? Well, you're going to see a lot of behind the scenes footage. You can see tutorial videos from previous games, from our current game, Rick and Morty. There's going to be some fun videos where we're just hanging out doing stupid stuff. And there's going to be interviews, convention shenanigans, and some other things I actually can't announce yet for you guys. So let's talk about the elephant in the room. Everything's shut down right now, obviously. You've all heard it a thousand times. We hope everybody's safe and doing well. For Spooky, that means we are shut down too. We are not essential. We just make really expensive toys for people. So we're shut down. So right now I'm sitting here in the shop by myself. And what I'm going to do is I want to give you guys a little bit of an inside look as to what we were up to right before we were shut down. Now if you may not know, we are in the process of moving buildings. So we were in a building across the street for about five to six years and we were in the process of moving to the building I currently standing in. Obviously the shutdown put a halt to that but we got quite a bit done in the two weeks time we were moving. So I'm going to give you guys an exclusive look as to our new shop, what's the Spooky Headquarters look like and how things are going down. All right so I thought I would show a little bit of footage from Days of the Dead Atlanta. Now, if you may not know, Days of the Dead is a horror convention, but it's not just in Atlanta. They have shows in Chicago. They have shows in Indianapolis. They have shows in Las Vegas. This is from Atlanta. This was my first time going there. This is the whole family's first time going there. And you may be wondering why exactly would a pinball company go to a horror convention? Well, one, obviously we love horror. We love everything spooky and scary. So we go for just pure enjoyment as one part of it. But also, we think that it would be a good idea for us to expand our market. So what I'm talking about is pinball fans obviously are the number one buyers of pinball machines. That's how we sell hundreds and thousands of games. But when we have such particular tastes of scary, spooky themes, so Alice Cooper, Rob Zombie, both spooky-related themes, why would we not take it to a horror convention where there are extremely dedicated fans who are willing to drop down that money for a game? I mean, if you've ever seen Kiss fans, their collection videos, a lot of them own just Kiss pinball machines. They don't own any other games. They own just the Kiss ones. So why would we not want to take a Rob Zombie or an Alice Cooper there? Because there is always that diehard fan that didn't know about the game before because they may be not into pinball so much. So you take it there and these diehard fans are like, oh my gosh, Alice Cooper and Rob Zombie pinball, that would be amazing to have. And they call the wife and you know, they end up getting a game, which is great. And as you can see there, we also have Monster Bash, Chicago Gaming's rerun of those games. We brought that because obviously it's the classic monster theme. People are very into such things at these conventions obviously, as you can see. And one of my favorite things about these conventions is the community is amazing. So outside of pinball, I'm an absolute horror fanatic. It's my favorite thing in the world is to watch horror movies and study them and hopefully someday do projects on them. So the community at horror conventions is always just absolutely amazing to be around. Everybody there is just as weird as you are. They all into the same thing. They all want to talk about the stuff that they don't get to talk about. I mean, I don't get to talk about the movie pieces anywhere besides at horror conventions, where all of a sudden there's 200 people who also think it's just a freaking fun, awesome movie. So that's always been one of my favorite things, is the community is great. And at these conventions they always get the guests actors special effects guys directors whatever from the movies so at this show like Tyler Maine was there who played Michael Myers in the Rob Zombie Halloween movies so it's always amazing to see that and obviously we've worked with Sid Haig a lot he did voice work in the pinball machine Rob Zombie and we miss him greatly so Days of the Dead Atlanta it was an absolutely great time I cannot wait to do another horror convention in general. Maybe it'll be Monsterpalooza, Texas Frightmare. I would love to go to all of those if we could. So we just thought we would share a little bit of this fun shenanigans from Days of the Dead Atlanta. So that was just a little bit of an inside look to what the new spooky location looks like. It's obviously not finished. We got shut down before we could finish. Me and Dad are doing what we can, but really there's nothing we can do without having employees here. So we hope everybody's staying safe and staying home so we can kick this thing in the butt and get back to work because we really really want to get back to work on Rick and Morty and get it out to everybody. So I wanted to thank everybody for checking out the Spooky Fan Club series hopefully if you're not already a Spooky Fan Club member you decide to sign up and join so you can get all the video access and a bunch of the other goodies that comes along with this.
