## Transcript

Amidst all of the excitement surrounding yesterday's launch of Toy Story, another pinball manufacturer, Pinball Brothers, shared an interesting post on Instagram. It's interesting for two reasons...

The first and most straightforward reason is that the company has been working to increase the availability of replacement parts through its distribution network for its Alien pinball machine. Increased parts availability is a huge positive for the company because it alleviates one of the main concerns that fans of the its game have had about buying one.

The second and more cryptic element of the post is the addition of the following hashtag at the bottom "#inspacenoonecaneaticecream". When I saw it I thought to myself, what in the heck does that mean? So I Googled it. It turns out that it's a reference to a cult classic horror film that I actually remember seeing on cable in the mid-80s, "Killer Klowns From Outer Space." Hmmmmm.

It's pretty widely known that Pinball Brothers next game is going to be Queen. I broke here on the Knapp Arcade site last fall (https://www.knapparcade.org/post/first-picture-of-new-queen-pinball-machine). Sooooo, I wonder if that tag was a clue that the company is already planning its third game, Killer Klowns? Maybe. Or maybe it's just them messing with us. We'll see.

In the meantime, here's a bunch of pictures of Pinball Brothers' parts from the website of one of its Swedish parts distributors (Free Play), a pic of the prototype Queen machine that I mentioned, and the iconic scene from Killer Klowns that has stuck in my mind for decades "What are you going to do with those pies boys?"
