I will tell you that the shot that was my nemesis was the right ramp. On my machine that I had, you can't backhand it, so it's across the playfield shot, and it was just... That's super risky. If you really want to get scientific, the left shots, being the left orbit and the left ramp, are all season one modes. The right shots, right ramp, right orbit, are season two modes. And if you really wanted to change your mode, you do that with the pop bumpers in the back. So one of the pop bumpers is dedicated to the right side of the play field, the other one to the left. So there are certain modes, like Mirkwood, which is like 70-something seconds. Which is what Jordan is currently in. Oh, perfect, yeah. If you really saw that was lit, you could throw it back in the right and try to get through it. Oh, buddy, George has failed. he was on his third mode so we're going to restart now. Yep. Alright. Oh my god and I had extra ball lit which is really frustrating. Yeah. Whoever coded this game, I don't know but what really is amazing is they, when the game is over and it's showing your score most of the playfield lights are off but they leave the extra ball light on it's like the most taunting thing in the world to drain and look can see that the extra ball light is still flashing at you. But adding the UV light kit is absurd. Like, it adds so much to the overall experience. So Jordan just finished monster hunting, so he needs to run. What is he in? Oh, he's in a multiball, so. But, yeah, that's why, yeah, if you ever, George, so if you ever get the left orbit lit, you'll see when you hit that shot, then all of a sudden it's scrolling across the play field because the spinner is doing it the whole time. I've seen people backhand it from the right flipper I mean Eric talked about Eric this is once again Chuck Word he said on his he can backhand but he really I don't know it's not consistent it's not a consistent shot what I will tell you is a consistent shot is being able to backhand the left ramp on a pro you cannot backhand the left ramp on a premium consistently which is a challenge so George just has the right ramp He needs to hit that right ramp two more times, and then he'll be in his fourth mode. But as you can watch, George, that right ramp is not easy. In contrast, Jordan now has right orbit, which is a safe shot because it just goes back there, bounces around in the pops, and then it should trickle back out to his flipper pretty safe. Where are we at? I just died again. Jordan has an extra ball. George is done. So if Jordan can start... Okay, he got that ball back. Okay, so if Jordan can start this mode and time it out, then he's one shot away. No pressure. No pressure. No pressure. So Jordan is aiming for that right orbit. The premium too much hassle for people to own. I don't, the premium's tough because the telekinesis lock on the left ramp is incredible if it's working. If it's not, it's actually a huge hindrance to your ball. It really is. It'll send it back. So, to be honest, every time I've played one on location, they turn it off. So, to have one of the two mechanical features in that game turned off. But I will tell you, the projector is, I think, really cool. alright so Jordan has one shot away do it good nudge oh there we go ok so this is his fourth mode this is quarter hunt this is the longer mode wow he's where he needs to be he's got to get through this mode I can technically drain it and start total isolation what ball are you on? two, it would be risky it's just risky it is Okay, yeah. So that's why, uh, strategy-wise, uh, especially, like, if you're in a tournament and you're going to burn three Demogorgons, As soon as Trap-Om starts, you want to use the Demogorgon Bomb to basically instantly kill the first one to lock in a higher value to killing this type of gem. I made it in the hole. Okay, somebody clip that because the way you made it in the hole was not direct. You hit the Demogorgon, it bounced off the Demogorgon, hit the ramp, and then bounced off the ramp into his mouth. Oh. Yeah. Yeah. You won't get him to stop. I can't justify a premium or an LE of this game when, like, 33%—I would almost say 50%— It's a projector and telekinesis, right? That are the big differences. and telekinesis fails, and it fails so horribly, so consistently across every version of Stranger Things I've played, be it in LE or Premium. It's not worth it. It's not worth it, which sucks because I love the armor. I love everything about this game, and the LE is gorgeous. It's just, it's got a design flaw, like a significant... The projector's a good idea, but it's a terrible execution. It's just white stickers all over the game. It's too far away, so it becomes dim, And it's pixelated. It's just not good crisp quality or bright. Okay, Jordan. Okay. I know. Okay, take a deep breath. You're going to make it. You're going to make it. Personally, I am a big fan of the projector. I just think it's so unique, what it looks like. It's a unique experience on a pinball machine. Now, with that said, I don't own a P3. Jordan does. I scored. So that probably looks even more unique. But I would just say, yes, I would say if the telekinesis lock worked 100%, in my opinion, it would be a no-brainer to go premium rally. But it does suck that one of the main features of the game, you basically have to turn off. Yep. Yeah. So if you're questioning, try to find one and take a look. And you're going to be sold or not in about three seconds. That is as fast as you can make a decision on that. Absolutely. What do you want to do next? What I would say is, so Zach at Flippin' On, he has an LE in his collection. So I had a pro for months with no UV kit, no projector, obviously. When I stepped up to his game with the UV kit and the projector, it was a whole other experience. So that's pretty cool. Lure of Dart. It's one of Yellow's. Yeah. Just because you build the dart value progressively throughout the game. So the longer you sit on that mode, the more valuable it's going to be. Okay. Also, there's the Sling artwork. You have to buy the kit to get the Sling art that has the hidden images. Oh, it doesn't have it in the... It doesn't have it in the stock, no. Okay. And then also, from what I know, I believe they have the bigger, better UV SMDs than the Penn Stadium ones. Okay, so you're saying... They're more like high-end UV LEDs. Now, that said, Scott swapped out. If you remember, I had an old set of UV bulbs, and then Scott sent me an updated version because they weren't as bright. and since then it's gotten ridiculously bright and it lights up the whole play field which by the way i do want to throw out it people may not know this but there is hidden artwork on the play field and the the uv kit specifically makes that visible and even now with these high definition cameras it's still kind of hard to see it but it's there and it's crazy looking and unless you were really, really paying attention, you would not have noticed it if you were one of the people to receive a Stranger Things right away before they did the announcement. I just like my friend who said LEDs are bigger and better in Texas. Heck, the flip, well said. Yeah. Okay. Well, that was super fun. But, like, if you're going in looking and you're expecting, like, an elevated horror, like some, like, Ari Aster or, like, crazy stuff where you're, like, getting weird and deep into feelings, it's not that kind of movie.
