who was really interested in family guy they had a couple of pins i was really interested in uh it just worked out way too well and on top of that i get an opportunity to load everything up and drive for roughly eight or nine hours uh by myself uh talking to myself that that's chaos so uh um yeah i'm kind of excited i i i enjoy occasional very long drives to listen to some podcasts uh to just chill and blast the music get hoarse because i'm singing along with the music so loudly uh and i'm really looking forward to that on sunday i just hope the Carl Weathers cooperates that would be great and absolutely yes this weekend is going to be great it's going to be chilly and raining so i'll be able to stay in and get more artwork done without being tempted by the sunshine outside dice i want them are gonna get there before mother's day mind you like i i feel like i was on top of it with your guys's healthy reminders that i needed to to send stuff out for mother's day we did it a week in advance i did it over the over the weekend and they're probably not gonna get there till sometime in june because that's the world we live in now i should have been better prepared honestly i should in in a row i like to rotate things around for a couple different reasons i think hey other people kind of enjoy uh a little bit of variety but at the same time i get bored of games really quickly so i feel like five to six games in a collection is about the minimum for me to to be happy and i realize as i say that that i sound kind of like a douche but just just go with me on that uh if you're once you like ghostbusters is a really really good example you know i'm gonna switch back over to chat view we're just chatting here right so um uh ghostbusters is a rough game that that flipper gap right like everyone knows what i'm talking about if you've played ghostbusters you have been frustrated at how quickly of a game 50 cents or 75 cents or a dollar can be on ghostbusters it's uh it's one of the few games i think some people like outright hate and i think that's because the artwork and the theme integration is amazing but it's a brutal brutal game and and that's actually kind of why i i really really like it it's it's it's more brutal in my opinion than total nuclear annihilation which is ridiculously brutal and the theme integration is top notch uh you know what the difference is between you and me [Music] i make this look good yeah so uh mvt3k welcome to the stream and uh and i thought i would take a note from faye who has been dressing up a ton and on top of that i'm out in the garage so it was either my stern uh pinball uh hockey jersey or it was this and uh i decided at the last second i can take off the coat easily without like upending everything and potentially spilling stuff or showing parts of my body that would get me banned on twitch so uh this just seemed the the better of the bets oh so ghostbusters is a uh is just a brutal brutal game and uh and to finish up that thought it's uh ghostbusters is not a game that i would ever own again it was the first game i ever purchased i had a ghostbusters premium and that and that's what got me into pinball but it was also i hated that game at the end of six months and was very happy to trade that away uh and move into a different pin i think ghostbusters is the perfect pin in a three if you already have three pins something that you can rotate around and come back to which leads back into uh the the other point i was making we're gonna inception at level three in terms of points because i keep going off on tangents but we're gonna make our way back around uh on and to jump back to level one the i like to rotate pins not just for entertainment purposes but i end up getting frustrated with them or bored of the pins a lot slower if i'm constantly rotating and negative of that of course is if you play it constantly one after another if you're playing it every night i feel like you don't lose as much as if you maybe play it just a few times a week and then you play the next game overall your skills at pinball are getting better but they're not getting that much better on one single pin so you will see every once in a while i take a note from Laser Los laserlows has been running iron maiden for weeks and can now consistently destroy that game time after time after time again you just put him in front of iron maiden and he's gonna put up a sweet bill very very easily so um cavial subscribed at tier three that is five months cavial aka flipstream thank you very much my my hat's off to you enjoy that that uh that that level three set of emotes at some point i'm gonna upgrade the sounds associated with them they're good now you know nothing but but i think i think will play pinball but save cracker is the one game when i go to shows it has a line at all times and uh and and i'm guessing it's a i don't know if this is a male thing or just like a person who can't handle lines but i hate lines like i will i will not go to theme parks because i don't like lines and uh and same thing like while i was at tpf they had two safe crackers in 2018 or 2019. i can't actually remember what year i went i think it may have been 2019 uh and uh and the safe crackers always had like a line of six to maybe 10 or maybe even up to 15 people on that last day who wanted to play safecracker and i found that really irritating because that's a game i think i could really really get into it's a lawler layout with a really cool to get into the wizard mode it literally deposits a coin you have to insert that special coin in order to get to unlock the safe and get into the wizard mode it's it's just a really cool idea and that's also a pin that holds its value really well so i doubt i would ever get one unless the most perfect of deals showed up uh i never hear the whole thing mpt the two closed for missile switching to guns i apologize contextually i seem to have left whatever that conversation was where too close for missiles switching to guns would have been oh wait is that a negative ghost ride of the pattern is full too close for missiles switching to guns to ghostbusters is it's not a fair game i love it i have it sitting right back there i have a whole i have so many mods i'm gonna have to dedicate an entire day to install all of the mods i have and i don't have all of them i'm still waiting on the topper to come in so uh as soon as the topper comes in uh i will be i will be dedicating a day to that because there is there's a ton that needs to be installed including the color dmd which i'm so excited about so i personally think out of those that ghostbusters is my favorite but i also don't think ghostbusters is a great single pin uh if you have uh uh three or four pins ghostbusters is an amazing addition leaving uh if it is potentially your first pin i would go for uh the walking dead over houdini houdini is great honestly there's there's nothing wrong with houdini i just don't enjoy playing it like it it has a couple of tight shots but you can make all those tight shots and those shots will make you a better pinball player i guess it comes down to how cheap you can get it because i know the walking dead right now you can typically get for about 4 500 as opposed to houdini which is probably closer to maybe 5 500 depending some routine stuff so your mind is allowed to wander these are the thoughts that you might have um and it's fun because i realized this and god really i like i i i don't deal with depression a lot of people do and i i think my like my base level is is actually like ridiculously happy and then everything after that is super happy afterwards but i got about as close to depressed as i could uh when i realized that um that in life i would be characterized as an npc now let me take a step back you don't maybe know potentially what npc is npc is non-player character um and if you've played any dungeons in dragons or any kind of role-playing games be it uh on pen and paper on table or perhaps even uh like uh in a video game console you'll know that uh in an mmorpg you run into other player characters those are called pcs and then you have non-player characters npcs and in life it seems like whenever i read novels and i i'm a i'm a voracious version voracious reader um apparently my my english ain't too good but uh but i kind of always identified a lot with the heroes in a lot of the books i i read but if it really comes down to it i i'm not i'm not the hero in my own story i'm like the banker who goes their entire life and uh and ultimately gets uh run over by a car one day because somebody dropped a quarter out their car went for it let's say leaned over accidentally put it the car into gear and i'm just like walking to work i guess the goal i'm getting at is uh not the goal the point i'm getting at is it was kind of depressing to realize that uh that i am not the hero character in my own story so uh that was shower thought number one that feeling when you know you'd be a red shirt on star trek exactly exactly dice yes i would be a red shirt uh i'm not even a red shirt i'm borg dan skip you are we george you were feeling like harold crick dice one of my favorite movies uh of all time little different it's not that he was an np by the uh what he uh what what dice is referencing there um is stranger than fiction and i uh and i'm gonna lose people here when i say this but i can't stand will ferrell i just don't like him i don't think he's a good actor uh in movies now granted what i do really like about will ferrell is the crazy thing he does where he takes on a persona or a character on live television or in some sort of an act and doesn't get out of character i i think some of that is just absolutely amazing and uh and and i will watch that night and day but as an actor i i don't appreciate his style of humor which i think is why i fell in love with stranger than fiction a it's a it's about writing and stories and b it's got kind of a fish out of water situation with a character like will ferrell who actually has to try and be just a normal person uh the music in the movie is top notch i love maggie gyllenhaal and her character in that and there is a moment where will ferrell presents fl i'm not ruining anything this movie is like 15 years old at this point but there's a moment where maggie gyllenhaal who is a baker uh and will ferrell who has should have no chance in hell with maggie gyllenhaal presents her with flowers and they're different types of flower for baking uh and and i just lost it i'm like this is this is my movie i absolutely love it so very similar i feel like kind of the npc or kind of the like he's not the he's not the hero he's the guy who dies and it's a story about someone who just starts to change their life and really starts to understand what it means to live and then has it taken away from him at that exact moment it's it's uh it's like situational irony or tragedy at its absolute best it's a wonderful wonderful movie yeah so sorry Laser Los dude same thing man i said you you you unhappy faced my uh my my frozen comment as well but frozen one is like 12 years old or 10 years old at this point i'm sorry but at some point like if if i went and spoiled the movie that came out in the last year i would i would i would get upset at myself but if you just it's stranger than fiction it's been out forever so anyway i didn't give away too much of the plot there's just that one romantic moment and i'm a sucker for that kind of stuff so um that was the shower thought and yes thank you lazy loves it was the angry react yes um okay so the awkward moment hold on wait spoilers i brought you flowers dice dice you right there did we just become best friends oh my god did he just quote will ferrell even though he said he doesn't like will ferrell when talking about a will feral movie that he does appreciate yes i'm sorry so um uh awkward moment um so check this out uh i had a at a moment where um the pandemic is not treating extroverts nicely and uh and i'm going to kind of explain why uh i went to the store and like had a brush in conversation with somebody i had never met and they started like i couldn't get out of the conversation they were super nice but i i couldn't i couldn't i couldn't say or do something to get away without being rude so i let it go on way longer than i wanted to and this is you know maintaining social distancing with the masks on and everything uh and then i eventually i kind of had to get a little rude and like just kind of start walking away and this person started following me while maintaining the conversation and what this is and i'm just gonna i'm gonna try and nail it as best as possible is that extroverts are resorting to telemarketing techniques in order to get some sense of normalcy in life and just let that sink in for a second because you need to check in on all of your extrovert friends okay that's it those are my awkward and shower thought moments uh for the night let's get back to oh again with the zooming
