Today at Noon Eastern time, Stern Pinball officially acknowledged that it is indeed producing the long-rumored Pokémon pinball machine! It released the following brief teaser trailer for the game on social media and YouTube.

As I reported here last week ( Here), Stern informed distributors that it will show them the game next Tuesday, February 10th. Stern is hosting members of the media to see the game at its Elk Grove Village, Illinois factory the following day, Wednesday, February 11th. There is no official word yet as to when the game will be fully revealed to the public, but it has to be soon after those events.

Today's brief trailer came with the following comment and a link to a specific Pokémon Pinball web page.

" Step into the arena.

Coming soon.

The linked webpage contains an e-mail sign up field and a little information about the upcoming game. As usual, it will be available in three trim levels: Pro, Premium and Limited Edition. The LE will be limited to 750 units. Once again, pricing for the game remains unchanged from recent releases, $6,999 for the Pro, $9,699 for the Premium and $12,999 for the Limited Edition.

The trailer also includes the rockin' famous "Pokémon Theme" song aka "Gotta Catch 'Em All!" which was released in 1998, written by John Loeffler and John Siegler, and performed by Jason Paige.
