## Analysis

Kaneda delivers a lengthy, unfiltered critique of recent Stern releases (particularly Transformers), attacking content creator 'shilling,' cost-cutting decisions, and perceived inauthenticity in pinball media. He praises upcoming titles like Sonic the Hedgehog and discusses games like Dune, Beetlejuice, and Harry Potter while mixing personal anecdotes and industry gossip about manufacturer relationships and promotional practices.

### Key Claims

- [HIGH] Optimus Prime and Grimlock do not transform in the Transformers pinball machine, contrary to expectations. — _Kaneda directly states: 'You are never going to see Optimus Prime in truck form in Transformers. The whole thing of Autobots transform and roll out, you're never going to get that. There's not a single Transformer that transforms.'_
- [HIGH] Transformers pricing remained the same despite removal of a major mechanical feature. — _Kaneda: 'Why is Transformers the same price after they yanked out the main mech? Shouldn't it be $12,500 maybe?'_
- [MEDIUM] Sonic the Hedgehog (Stern, June 23 release) is superior to Transformers. — _Kaneda: 'All of this goes away June 23rd when Sonic the Hedgehog comes out. Now, I got to be honest. I saw Sonic. It blows this game away.'_
- [HIGH] Keith Elwin next game is scheduled for March 2027, not earlier. — _Kaneda: 'the Elwins game is not until next year. Did everybody know that Elwins game was March 2027?'_
- [MEDIUM] Dune nearly destroyed Barrels of Fun financially due to poor market reception. — _Kaneda: 'I don't think people realize how close Dune came to putting Barrels of Fun completely out of business.'_
- [HIGH] Multiple content creators receive compensation (free games, paid sponsorships) from manufacturers while covering their releases. — _Kaneda references content creators being 'paid in a machine' by Jersey Jack and running ads for dealers; specifically names individuals receiving Jersey Jack CEs and machines for promotional content._
- [MEDIUM] Dune theme had poor nostalgia appeal and incomplete release state, unlike properties like Back to the Future. — _Kaneda: 'It's not a movie that people go back and watch time and time again' and 'Dune came out. It was incomplete.'_
- [MEDIUM] Pokémon Pinball is underwhelming and has lost appeal after early play. — _Kaneda: 'I think Pokemon right now is a paperweight. I think it's an effing paperweight... I'm sort of bored and over it.'_

- **[market_signal]** Transformers reportedly experiencing 'abysmal' sales despite LE sellouts due to newbie/theme-fan purchases; dealers struggling to move standard Pros. (confidence: medium) — Kaneda: 'the sales are abysmal of this game. Abysmal' and assertion that LEs will sell due to FOMO but broader market reception is weak.
- **[product_strategy]** Stern maintained Transformers pricing despite removal of major mechanical feature (transforming mechs), creating perception of poor value. (confidence: high) — Kaneda directly challenges: 'Why is Transformers the same price after they yanked out the main mech? Shouldn't it be $12,500 maybe?'
- **[sentiment_shift]** Community sentiment shifting negative on recent Stern releases; accusation that cost-cutting has become systemic pattern; John Wick praised only due to lowered expectations. (confidence: high) — Kaneda names multiple creators allegedly paid for promotional content; criticizes lack of transparency and bias masquerading as journalism.

(confidence: high) — Kaneda: 'the person who bought my second Pokemon for $23,000' and characterization of the game as disappointing despite price premium.
- **[design_philosophy]** Kaneda identifies 'fatal flaws' in games where theme execution fails (Willy Wonka, Transformers); argues theme authenticity matters more than code quality. ## Transcript

Hello, I'm Keezy, and I'm going to be your host for this week. Thank you for watching. We've got you screaming in the house. What up everybody? We're going to stand up for this one because it's just, I can't do this show with the headphones on. Oh man, like how's everybody doing? I'm feeling it this Saturday. I'm feeling it. Hold on a second. I mean, it is a beautiful day here. The Knicks are up 2-0, baby. 2-0 New York. What's up in the house? Spurs are soft, baby. Soft! Welcome to New York. People coming at Kaneda, triggering all the shills. We're going to talk all about what's going on in shill land. It is at the point now where it is getting comical. Oh, it's like, dude, it's like the shills don't even know they're Win Schilling. They don't even know they're Win Schilling. They're like, what are you talking about? What do I need to spell it out? Like what shill behavior looks like? Oh, I'm not going to mention the fact that half the game doesn't even work. Half the game doesn't even turn on. Oh, my magic girl biz, man. That's like blast from the past, baby. Hold on. Come on. There's a light in here. Come on. We're going to do this. We're going to get this show going. Hold on a second here. What's going on here? There we go. Oh, I was at the gym this morning. Got there right when it opened at 7 o'clock. I'm looking through my text messages. I'm confused. PINBALL PEOPLE It's called being like a trader, man. Half these dudes are affiliated with other companies. If you're affiliated with another company, show them some loyalty. Don't go to Stern. Don't hype their products. Don't interview their, like, what's up with people? Like, have some loyalty. I don't go to like my competitor launches of my brands and like put on their t-shirts and like act all excited and help them sell games. Some integrity, man. It's like, look, you got to make a decision. All these guys, they can't make a decision. They don't know what they want to be. Like, do you want to be a content creator that's unbiased? Do you want to be a employee? Do you want to be an affiliate with a company? What do you want to be in pinball? Okay, I mean, it's just like there comes a point where all of a sudden, you know, you should like stay loyal to the people that you're now affiliated with. And I don't understand. It's like what's really pathetic, though, is this. How can you love Transformers and accept a game in which half of the machine, the Transformers do nothing? The Autobots do nothing. We'll just get over it. Just beating a dead horse. The amount of people, and this was fun, the amount of people that came onto my Facebook page complaining about my own content is weird. I'll tell you this right now. I don't listen to almost anybody anymore because it's almost nauseating. The amount of just, we're back to the shill, shill, shill, everything's great. Like, you know, where do you play it? Where do you play it? It's fun. Where do you play it? It's like, OMG. I wish these people would just go get a job with a pinball company. Like, leave the reviews and leave the impressions to those who haven't sold the F out. Just leave it to us. Okay? Yeah, we will get to play the game. Our first impression, Optimus sucks. Grimlock sucks. They yanked out the one big thing that was supposed to be in this game. And then you, oh yeah, man. But where do you play it? It's, okay. Where do you play it? It's magical. Ozzy, come on, man. Ozzy, you're about to lose $3, 000, man. You've already lost it. The moment you sent in your money for this freaking LE, you lost three grand, man. And I don't, I love you, Ozzy. I love you. But why would you want to spend full price on something that's, dude, the sales are abysmal of this game. Abysmal. And, and, and, and it's not me. It's everybody else out there seeing this stuff, man. It's like, how many times is Stern going to cut costs, yank out the magic, and then it's like, okay. But Ozzy, here's the thing. Ozzy, how can you pay the same price? Why didn't they lower the price of Transformers if they yanked out the major mech? Can you answer me that, Ozzy? Why is Transformers the same price after they yanked out the main mech? Shouldn't it be $12, 500 maybe? I've never had these problems as I only buy pros. Yeah. Hell yeah, Kaz. Hold on. We're going to move this party. We're going to move this party over. Hold on a second. I'm going to see MGK tonight. I'm so excited. I'm so pumped. Let's put on the cliche hat. Oh, yeah. Got a lot of right in me. I don't want to say it wrong. What's up, guys? Hold on. I don't want to spill my coffee. This is dangerous. Get this door open. No, we're going to. I'm not holding back on this show because I literally got threatened yesterday. Like someone threatened to like slap me in body. It's funny. It's funny because I put everybody on alert. You know, when you do that and you put these people on alert, they don't know how to handle it. Oh, man, like he's making fun of the fact that we paid money out of our pocket to go to Stern and end up in their promotional materials. Look, do the smart thing like Dirty Pool does. You know, Jeff Dodson, he's there, man. He's there. And then he asked not to be on camera. Notice how Ralph wasn't in the promotional video? His back was, but he wasn't because he's got to go down the street and film the Jersey Jack stuff and get it paid in a machine, man. Paid in a machine. That's giving the man $15, 000, baby. That's insane. Who is it? Is it like Mason does all the work? Like, is Mason getting $15, 000? The dude's got a video editor, bro. A video editor. Can you, like, what? What? Nobody edits my stuff. I don't hand it off to, like, another dude, and then I take the $15, 000 machine. Exactly what, like, what's happening to the content space? We used to like, literally, I mean, nobody used to go to anywhere. And now we're like, going there. Promotional materials. But my, my, yeah, it's still like, look, it still annoys me. Like, you know, first and foremost, I was invited to Stern and Jersey Jack, man. Like, I was invited. I can still go anytime I want. I love when the people come in. They're like, oh, man, you're just bitter because you weren't invited. I'm not invited. Not invited. I was invited. I'm just, I want to throw something out there for all these dudes spending thousands on these trips. All these dudes, like, literally buying every, do you buy as much for your, I hope all of you. And I mean this when I say it. I mean this when I say it. Hold on a second. There's sound, right? We got sound. I mean this when I say it. Ralph. I hope all of you spend more on your wives and buy your partners more than you spend on pinball a year. I hope I just hope that for everybody on this because and I know Ozzy does. I just just these man. It's like. But anyway, look, in all seriousness. Ralph doesn't get free games. Vic, Vic, he's getting paid in a Jersey Jack CE to make the video. Vic, you know that, right? I don't know if he gets off or not. I don't know. But he also gets money to run the ads for Flip N Out Pinball in front of his show. Funny, man. Vic, do you run ads for Flip N Out Pinball? Look, in the end, like, everyone's got to do what they got to do, man. Everyone's got to do what they got to do. But what you don't have to do, and this is, I mean this. I think what's triggering everyone around this Transformer game is there's not enough, like, universal pushback against Stern's cost-cutting patheticness. And that's the part I don't get. Why isn't everybody aligned on this? That that optimist and that Grimlock is just pathetic. Why isn't there alignment on that? I don't get it. Yeah, I would have liked for him to like, it's just you can accept what you've been given, which is what they all do. It's not just that they praise, though. They praise. And as long as these content creators keep Win Schilling mediocrity, bro, like it's it's fine. Keep spending money on software. Right. I get the code is good. That's what's starting in the gaslighting that has happened in this hobby. And the problem with these newbies is simply this. And yes, I consider Ralph a newbie and all these guys, they weren't around. They have no idea. You know, they have no idea. Like when Mel, when she says this game's got great toys, I don't even know what she's referring to. You know what I'm saying? I don't even know if she's ever transformed a transformer. I don't know. So, what do you mean this is a great, these have great toys? Look at this. Look at Optimus and look at Grimlock and you're going to tell me this game has great toys. And again, they're all there. And it's like, I feel bad for all of them because you got Stern's camera person up in your face and you're just happy to have a day off playing pinball. I get it. Guys, don't get me wrong. I completely understand how this all happens. Literally, I was just telling Don. I'm friends with Don and Jengis. I was telling him, dude, Don kicks off the video for Stern celebrating the game. He's like a spooky guy. He's over in Benton, Wisconsin building his Beetlejuice as we speak. What are you doing, Don? Don't put on a Stern shirt and kick off their promotional video. I don't understand. What is everybody doing? You know what I'm saying? But again, I almost feel bad for Don as well because they roll up and Don's a content creator. He just wants the attention. He wants to be on camera. We all think the more exposure, the more awareness, the more I can share my enthusiasm. Guys, how many years do I have to effing do this to show y'all the playbook? The most subscribers, the most award-winning freaking podcast by not Win Schilling. It's right there. He doesn't sell out. He doesn't put ads for dealers in front of his content. He doesn't take their free games. I haven't taken anything from anybody. I don't know. They're probably having fun. Frank, you care, Frank. You care. Frank, look. Look. Gang. Mediocrity in the game. And this always is what happens. You know, you notice this whenever Stern releases a dud, you know what I'm saying? Whenever they release a game that doesn't even come close to expectations, what happens? Everyone turns into an a-hole, like me included. Everyone turns into an a-hole. Believe me when I say this, all of this goes away June 23rd when Sonic the Hedgehog comes out. Now, I got to be honest. I saw Sonic. It blows this game away. Ralph knows it. Dirty Pool knows it. It blows this game away. And all I'm saying to everybody out there, when you see Sonic, you're just going to wish you waited a little bit. Vic, did you get to go see Sonic? Vic, man, Vic, Vic, I love Vic. Vic is still looking at that Godfather CE, man. Vic, do you still have that game? Look, gang, it's funny. It's funny. You know, I was just laughing yesterday, man. I'm enjoying this beautiful Carl Weathers. I went into the city with my beautiful wife who's hot as a mofo and you know I get a text message that someone's mad that I put someone in that shill post and they're like I'm gonna body slam you Kaneda. I'm like look bro I'm not a fighter I'm a lover. I don't if you're gonna get so mad about pinball content let's level set real quick all right let's level set. Okay, nobody, nobody should ever fight anybody over pinball content. All right, nobody. Okay, let's just start right there. Stupid. Okay, nothing's worth fighting over. Okay, so there's that. Now, secondarily, if you can't make fun of this hobby and take the piss out of it in a world in which most people are starving, most people live in war-torn countries, the majority of the world's not even democratic. If you can't look at this hobby and have a little self-deprecating humor around it, you're broken. You're not having fun. You're enslaved. It's like so funny to me. The amount of inaneness and insanity that ensues within this hobby is comical. And nobody wants to ever laugh at it and make fun of it. Nobody makes fun of me more than me. You think it's a rich use of time to spend over a decade making pinball content? I don't. I enjoy it. I would be much more successful if I probably applied those hours to something else. But it's the community, man. And look, the Kaneda fans, they're the best. They're the best. You will never hear anyone say, Kaneda's a shill. Now, I might hype a game every once in a while, and don't get me wrong, I will. I might pump and dump every once in a while. Got to put the food on the table. But I am not any company's shill. And that's the difference. And look, I'm friends with George Gomez, with Brett Abbas. I'm friends with David David Van Es. I'm friends with, who else we got? Bug and Luke? Morgan? Like, I'm friends with all these companies. I respect what they do. But I can see through people, man. I can see through people. You know, like I'm always in conversation with Brett. I'm always in conversation with Bug and Luke. I'm always in conversation with George. Always. Chris Turner only shows up when he wants me to like he doesn't he doesn't he doesn't always reach out. So David David Van Es always reaches out, you know, when time goes by, he'll be proactive. Brian over at American Pinball, great guy. We were chatting yesterday about the freaking basketball game. But my point is, my point is, this hobby, really, when you think about it, it's amazing and stupid at the same time. It's amazing and stupid at the same time. When you think about 70% of games sold are coin-operated devices meant for location. There's a coin door. You're supposed to make money off of these things. If I was Kale and I was operating, I wouldn't give a crap about Optimus not transforming. I would throw it on the floor. And here's what he knows. The more people don't want to buy a game, the more it makes on location. Have you ever noticed this phenomenon? More people will play Transformers on location because they're not going to buy one, but they still want to enjoy it. They just don't want to spend the money and lose a ton of money. Okay, so that's going to happen. Dude, we've all been gaslit so badly in this hobby that people now think John Wick is great. You notice this? Like the Sterns, Stern games have been so underwhelming recently that now John Wick is great. I don't know what to tell you guys. Just wait and see. Listen to who you want to listen to and learn to take the piss. This is all I would want to see from some of those other guys. Just take the piss out of it more. They're so serious. They're so damn serious. They all want that pinball salary. They all want a job in pinball. They do. They all would quit their day jobs to work in pinball. I wouldn't do it. Transformers is an awesome game. Butthurt Karens are hilarious. Crying Over Optimus. Oh, man. Look at this guy. Who's this guy? The answer is inside you. Who are these people, man? I love it when we get the newbies. That's probably, that might be George Gomez right there. The answer is inside you. Have you ever seen this name before in this chat? I love it. I love it when we like get those new, you know, my favorite is on Facebook. The trolls I get are always the people that only have pictures of their cat or dog as their profile photo. Have you ever noticed that? Like the scariest people have their dog as their profile picture. Like what? I've been here forever. Have you? Then why is your name that? Why don't you use your real name? The answer is inside you. What is that? Like, weird. That's some weird ass stuff. Look, gang, I'm glad John Wick code is amazing. You guys are enjoying it. I just never felt the John Wick layout was very interesting at all. I don't know. I just think John Wick, to me, has the layout. I don't know. That's it. Enjoy it. Hopefully, you got it for a good price. I mean, they were going for nothing. So John Wick Ali is amazing. John Wick Ali is the same as John Wick. I don't know, man. John Wick Ali. Is it amazing? It's got no guns. Thank you. I just don't have enough money to buy a house with a porch in Rewi. Once you've got a porch, man, you're above the $2 million to $3 million range. And a lot of the houses we're going to go walk around, they're around like $4 million to $8 million houses. I love it, man. I love being in this town. I love these people. It's just these kids are going to grow up in such a nice part of the world. And I feel, you know, I want to say this. I don't say this often enough. I do thank God for all the blessings I've had in life. I've got my health. Both my parents are still here. I was raised with an education that allowed me opportunities to be creative, opportunities to even indulge in buying things like pinball machines. And most importantly, to marry someone like Brenda who has created a family for me, which is really, all of you know this, you have family, the preciousness of it and the value of it and how it makes you appreciate every single day. It tires you out, but it really shows you what's important. And I think people out there that don't have family or don't have partners and they go through life lonely and they fill their shelves with toys. You know what? They'll never know what real love is, man. They'll never know what real love is. Get a dog, I would say. If you don't have kids, get a dog. Then you'll know what real love is. I think dogs actually can show more emotion than even kids. But anyway life is good Thank you for watching People don't really understand that when I make fun of these things, clearly I'm doing it for entertainment value. Is anyone offended? Really? Is anyone really upset? Is anybody? Now, look, it doesn't change the fact I've always felt this way, that the majority of pinball content creation is pretty one sided. It is pretty. I don't know. I just think it's like it's not interesting to me. See, it's just not interesting to me when people don't ask provocative questions, when they don't interrogate these games with more unbiasedness. That's even a word. It's just boring to me that everything is always awesome. And you can see right through it. And that's the thing. And also just like when you get into the pinball content space, you do realize how fake so many people really are. And I mean this, like when I mean that they're fake, I mean, they will say stuff about a game to people that they trust and in their chats privately, and then they'll make content saying the complete opposite. And so what I pride myself on is that's never been what my show has been about. Just give it to people real. And the reason why people are fake, you can say like, well, they're just trying to be nice. You know, if you have nothing nice to say, don't say anything at all. But I don't know, man. And it's like people are going to you and they want content in which, you know, you get the real, real. Ozzy, I love you, brother. I love you. And, you know, tonight is MGK playing in Hartford, Connecticut. This is this is round two for Brenda. She missed the Barclays concert because she drank too much. So I'm driving us there. We are going to just make out like teenagers and not get drunk and enjoy the show. It's that that is the brief. We are not going to miss the concert. We are going to make sure we enjoy it. You know, something that you learn in life, everybody learns this the hard way. You don't want to be drunk at a concert that you want to enjoy. It's that simple. Don't miss the show. And when you get drunk, you miss the show. You won't remember it. You might not even enjoy it while you're there. It's not the way to do it. I mean, the watch community is crazy. Okay, so, Gane, let's talk. Let's talk about a lot of stuff that's been sort of happening. You know, the big news being that the Elwins game is not until next year. Did everybody know that? Did everybody know that Elwins game was March 2027? Or did you find that out from me? Because it's interesting, because when I released that information, which I didn't think everybody knew, and all of a sudden, Pinside's like, that's old news. I don't know. I think that was pretty... So Kaneda's been pretty good recently. I told you Optimus wasn't going to transform, right? Kale and I were trying to tell everybody that. Van Halen from Mark Seiden, Grateful Dead from Jersey Jack. We've been good recently. And it's great. It's great, right? So, Fallout is the game in March. You know, Fallout's the game in March. I think Stern's like in some weird, I don't know if there's like an Ozzy thing contractually. So, let me ask you guys a question. Ozzy Osbourne, is that something you guys want to buy? Now, would you rather it be Ozzy or Black Sabbath? Is that one in the same? I'm not like the biggest Ozzy fan. Again, I'm not here to say he's not great or a legend. He is all those things. He's just not music I listen to. Thank you. I don't know, man. I feel the same way, Ozzy. I'm like over music pins. I do something about them. No matter who the musician is, it makes you sick of the music. Like, you know what I'm saying? Like, I think Guns N' Roses pinball is the reason I stopped listening to Guns N' Roses music. It's just, I don't know. It's just something about it's always, oh, well, no, because it's like, no matter, because when you're in the mood to play pinball, it's like, no matter what, you have to be in a certain mood to want certain types of music. And when you have a music pen, it's like, always that, always, it never stops. I mean, Kaz, I agree, man. I'd rather have MGK than Ozzy. So, but I think where it's going to get really interesting, gang, is the end of the year now. So, you know, look, Transformers was supposed to be a statement game. I think people, and this is why, look, I want to say this to all the Transformer guys that are, like, praising this game. And look, the reason why Transformers has so much code in it, the reason why it's got the big sculpts, Stern was supposed to put a lot in this game and make it a statement game. And, you know, that's why the Optimus is such a bad miss, because what would have been a statement game, we all would have bought it. Do you understand? Like, we all would have bought. Do you see what that is? You are never going to see Optimus Prime in truck form in Transformers. The whole thing of Autobots transform and roll out, you're never going to get that. There's not a single Transformer that transforms. So my point is Transformers was supposed to be a statement game from Stern. Instead, it is now anything but. It is now a it's going to be a flop. It's going to be a flop. They're going to sell out of the LEs. They always do. Like there's enough newbies and suckers and Aussies who are just fans of the theme. There's enough people with money. They don't care. I get it. But that's the issue is not that. People forget. But Stern is still the mafia. For all these dealers to get those LEs, they've got to absorb a ton of premiums and a ton of pros. And I just don't think the buyers are going to line up. And if you're Stern right now, why do you think Transformers is on the line right away? They need to secure all that money before Sonic the Hedgehog. Now, I also think Jersey Jack, they should be teasing with something a little bit this week. What are you doing, JJP Marketing? Nothing, just still that we're loading. They literally should just give a morsel of something more significant so Transformers, people on the fence, just get off the fence. Yeah, I agree, William. You know, they missed the mark in terms of the depth, music pins. Beastie Boys don't license their music. Well, you know, it's like, I think it's different for like Beastie Boys in like other content, but they may think about a pinball machine. See, I don't know. I just think like I bet Slash knows the Beastie Boys and all these guys know each other. Like you got to kind of call in a favor. So it's. You know, I I'm so excited about the end of the year now because I think we're going to go through like Sonic's going to really just own the summer. It is going to be the pinball summer of Sonic. I mean, from from June to all the way to August, September, it's all going to be about Sonic. And then it's going to get really, really interesting because we are going to get. Back to the future, the fifth element, Goonies. Right. Just I can stop there and be like, yeah. The next game from Barrels of Fun, right? Maybe He-Man, maybe Big Trouble in Old China. Toten? Who else am I missing here? Maybe CGC comes out of retirement. I don't, there's a lot happening. A lot happening. Halo. How about we have the good pins? Why buy new ones that aren't as good? Kelly, I've felt this way ever since Stern took their prices all the way up. I've never understood the need to buy more overpriced new stuff when the old stuff is still really good. I think the, you know, to me still the pin of the year is still Beetlejuice. Even I put Beetlejuice one notch above Potter. And they're both great. But I think Beetle as a full, like, I don't know. I don't see even people are Beetle is so great. So what's overrated about Beetle? The center scoop is vomit. Yeah, like I do think that Potter, I think here's the thing. Here's the, I think it's a little like, I think Potter shoots better for sure. Absolutely. But I think Beatles code is more approachable and makes more sense. Right? They're both great, man. I don't think you can go wrong with either. I've said it. I think Potter and Beedle are the new foundation for all modern collections in pinball. I do. Yeah, no, and Spooky knows it. And I've heard that the Goonies layout is going to be very exciting for people. I think to me the thing that's always funny is how little is actually in some of these modern JJP games. And I think people think they're more loaded than they are. All you got to do is pop the hood on a Hobbit and then pop the hood on a Harry Potter. I mean, I'm not saying it looks like there's half as much in there, but there. So Dune is the foundation for some as well, Robert just said. Look, I think Dune is a game where it's not for the faint of heart. You got to be willing to work on that game. I think Dune is like one of these games where like if you're okay with like pin maintenance, I think Dune would be frustrating maybe to a newbie who doesn't want to lift the hood much. Didn't you badmouth Dune? Yeah, I badmouthed Dune for a really long time. You know why? Addicted to cockpits? Because Dune sucked for a really long time. Dune was released too early, and Dune is a theme that's still one that not many people want. Let me let me addicted. Let me stay on this topic for a minute. People didn't want Dune. People didn't want this Dune movie in pinball. They didn't. I'll tell you this right now. Dune came out. It was incomplete. It was like a double whammy. It was like, I don't really want this theme. And the game's not even like nearly complete. Right. You could release Back to the Future early, incomplete. Right. At the same state Dune was in and you'd sell every one instantly. It's just not a theme people have nostalgia for. It's not a movie that people go back and watch time and time again. So, like, yeah, I think David didn't do any market research. Look, I don't think people realize how close Dune came to putting Barrels of Fun completely out of business. So you know what I'm saying? Like, it was really dicey. Really dicey. Dune movies have made billions addicted to cockpits. You know what I'm about to tell you right now? Okay, so if we use your logic, then Avatar Pinball by Jersey Jack should have sold a ton of units. You see what I just did there? Avatar has made more money than Dune. Dune, a flop as a pinball seller. So, you know, you're wrong again. So, addicted, trust me when I say this, the fifth element, which is made so much less at the box office, would sell so much better than Dune. So would Big Trouble in Little China. So would G1 Transformers the movie. You'd sell more The Last Starfighter than you would have Dune. There's no nostalgia, bro. And I'm not, look, the game, and this is thanks to all the assets that are in there and Jeff Dodson's work on the music, the orchestrations, the game is atmospheric. So I just want to say like, yeah, I changed my tune on Doom. Am I not allowed to do that? Can I not rail on something when it's incomplete? Like I've been railing on Pokemon. I think Pokemon right now is a paperweight. I think it's an effing paperweight. I barely turn it on. I've seen everything the game has to offer, and I'm not clicking with it. It doesn't make me want to play one more game anymore. I'm sort of bored and over it. So yeah, I think I was an idiot for buying Pokemon early, not as big of an idiot as the person who bought my second Pokemon for $23, 000. So my Pokemon only cost me $3, 000. But it's I feel like an idiot. I look at that game every day and I wish I wanted to play it. I don't want to play it. Same with early Dune. It just wasn't there. Now it's there and I'm saying I think Dune is going to be one of those games that's really hard to get down the road. So is that is that is that cool with people? Can you change your mind on a game if some development has happened? I've always been that way. There's certain games, and I mean this when I say it, there's certain games that I just think have fatal flaws in how the game approached the theme. This is a good topic. Let me tell you the games that I think just had fatal flaws and that you might like the game, but I can't get over the fatal flaw. Willy Wonka is one of those games for me. Willy Wonka to me, the fatal flaw is that none of the assets from the movie that I love, that I'm nostalgic for, none of them are used in the right way in the game. It's a musical. You go through the different rooms. You collect none of it. It is such a weird, everything's muted. I just don't like it. It just doesn't click. It's not the way Willy Wonka should be in pinball format. Another game that has a fatal flaw, in my honest opinion, again, this is just me, Avengers. Thank you for watching. Not having Arnold in Predator. Like, I get that the game is fun. That's a fatal flaw in my honest opinion. He's the whole movie. Yeah, and look, I know that people are enjoying Predator now and they're enjoying it because it's just different. They're enjoying it because it's different. So Pirates, interesting, right, Kelly? To me, the fatal flaw in Pirates is that it has no humor. You took something that was this comedic, amazing franchise and there's no humor in the pin. And again, what everyone fails to realize is that a game can be fun. All pinball is fun, right? We all know this. So I don't know, in a world in which all pinball is fun, you know, then everybody's opinion is kind of invalid. If you're just looking for fun, you know, and this is why this hobby is so fun to sort of unpack, if you will. Because things can be fun and the but the value might not be there or like a game can be fun, but it might be too complex. You might not find that satisfying. You know, look, when pirates, when you walk up to pirates and it's like pick between one of 22 characters, it's like that's that's it. That's just stupid. Just stupid. You know, you know, I've never seen a game that's for sale more than Pirates of the Caribbean. At any moment. There is always like eight of them for sale. Always. And you could say this is just people looking to cash out. Now, maybe that might be the case, but I've never seen a game, if it's so damn good, people are willing to let go. TNA is Spooky's best pin. No, it's not. It's not even Spooky's pin, man. You know what I'm saying? Like, I don't know. TNA is Scott Danesi's pin. It was manufactured by Spooky, but it's not Spooky's pin. Spooky's going to get, they're going to like, they're going to get there with the, with the, I think Spooky's best pin, if I were to ask, I think is probably Evil Dead. I think Evil Dead, I think Spooky's best code, I don't know, man, maybe Rick and Morty, like the Rick and Morty call outs are something that are incredible. It's a shame that Rick and Morty was put into a layout by Scott Denisey that was just brutal. You guys know the story, right? I mean, that was TNA 2. It was TNA 2.0 and they quickly reskinned it to Rick and Morty. I think Pirates and Potter share a lot of things, a lot of selection options that start less than optimal use of humor. Yet I love both. Maybe I lack a sense of humor. Now, Rick and Morty is a terrible shooter. It's one of the worst. I mean, Scott even openly admits that when he moved the upper right flipper, he forgot to change the opening for the orbit shot with it. So it's just it's like the worst clunk fest ever. Rick and Morty is a great layout. I don't know, man. I don't think really don't, Bobby. I think it's one of the worst layouts, actually. Guns N' Roses is a historically bad layout. The thing about GNR is I get what Eric was going for and he achieved it. I mean, Eric wanted to, you know, have all the musical elements, the drumsticks, the guitar neck, the bass strings. GNR is like a, GNR was like a great, just visual, everything about it, like everything visual about GNR, the artwork, the assets, the lights, even like the items in it are just wonderful. And it's just a dog to play. What I always say, it's like a beautiful woman that's just terrible in bed. You're going to cheat. You know what I'm saying? A beautiful woman that's just terrible in bed, you're going to look elsewhere after a while. You know, you're just going to. So. I keep coming back to Rick and Morty. Flippers have been JJP issue with Elton John. Well, look, I updated my IO board in June. It doesn't change, gang. Guns N' Roses, there's just no flow in that game at all. I mean, Pokemon's a 10 times better shooter than GNR. What is the deal with the Pokemon code? Like, does anyone even know anything? Is there a reason why Stern just can't talk to us? And why don't we get, like, a weekly update? You know, you spend $13, 000 on a product and you get no updates. There's no schedule of updates. There's no expectations of when we're supposed to hear stuff. All pins get old after a while. Ozzy, you're right. I mean, they do. That's why I like the things that stay bolted to the ground are the ones where maybe it's just like a dream theme. And also, like, there's just some games where if you get rid of it, getting it back might be really difficult. But I think the hobby's changed a lot. I think there's like, like Stern LEs carry no weight anymore. No one cares anymore. They really don't. I think the, I think everyone learned a big lesson too. These Pokemon scalpers, no one really cares anymore. Like whether you have the LE or not, it's just, I do think though, and I said that on my show, I think the SLE of Goonies and the SLE of Back to the Future are gonna, are gonna create a level of FOMO we haven't seen. Since Batman SLE I do think you going to see both of those games and I do think they going to be very very high priced and I think people are going to murder each other to try to get a spot And I think, unfortunately for everybody not named Kaneda, it is, do you guys think it's wrong? Let me ask you, just, just, let's just bring it in. Do you think it's wrong that I might not have to wait online like everybody else? Now, I'm not paying any cheaper, but do you think it's wrong that some of these companies and some of these people that I know will just make sure that if I want it, I can have it before they open it up to everybody else? Do you think that's wrong? Have I done enough work? Over 2, 000 podcasts, have I done enough work doing all these shows every single week? Thank you for watching. A very, very happy birthday to Melissa over at Cointaker. Say, like reach out to her, text her, today is her birthday. She's really, really an awesome person. And Chris and Melissa have been very good friends to me for many, many years. Again, they've never given me a discount. What they do give me is their love and their appreciation. And they love the show. And we're kind of cut from a similar cloth, if you know what I mean. We love this country. We love what this country has given us. We don't complain about America. I don't know what's happening out there. I don't know why it's now up here. Thank you for watching. I can't tell you how good it feels to see the people that you've built great relationships with become successful. Because everybody wins. Everybody can eat. And I say this to the people on my team. I'm like, there's too many people that don't even attempt to build relationships. And everybody would be open to building a relationship. I mean, it's interesting even with me, like I've got certain people that I talk to every week and, you know, I'm always open to talking to people. I love talking on the phone about pinball. I love going into the Patreon chat and doing Patreon lives. And it's I think the Kaneda Club is probably the most well-adjusted group of people. And I think the outsiders that are complaining about me all the time, those people are the ones that are just really in pain and where, you know, I'm living rent free in their head. You know, I was really happy that, you know, when we validated that Doug Iceman 44 is very active and he's on the page. And, you know, I see what he writes on on Pinside and he's been such a voice of reason. I don't think anybody has bought more games and supported more company ventures than Iceman 44. I don't. Doug, you know, if you know Doug down in Texas, he knows it all. Like he's seen it all. He's played it all. He's, you know, he's been through the ups and downs of like the FOMO, the LE. And he literally is in the same mindset I'm at. Like, Stern's kind of over, man. The Stern era of collectability is over. Like, that's true. The best, most passionate pinball now is happening at the boutique level. That is also true. And Stern did it to themselves. They literally screwed over their collectors so many times that they'll never get them back. They'll never get them back. And now, you know, that's why people are really having like a great time on Predator, a great time on Dune, a great time on, you know, on Beetlejuice. It's like you just want something else. And Stern, Stern's kind of like, I don't know, you know, and I, I just wish Stern would slow down. To me, Stern is like, it's like that annoying girl in high school that you don't want to date and they just keep coming at you. You know, that's what Stern's become a little bit. They just keep serving up games. They don't slow down. They just keep rushing out these incomplete games. And we're just supposed to keep taking them on dates and absorbing them and spending money on them. And then by the time the game is even close to being done, we've lost three, four, five thousand dollars. And we're supposed to just keep doing that. And we're not supposed to say anything about that. We're not supposed to be like, oh, we're not supposed to think about like what could be the resale value of one of their products. Because, you know, it's so ironic. Like, we need to sell their old stuff to buy their new stuff. And yet they don't want us to think about how much money everyone's lost on these games. I mean, once they started handing people a $10, 000 loss on a James Bond 60th anniversary game. I mean, you know, they didn't have to price that game at $20, 000. You know, and the spin doesn't work. You know, they said like, oh, we didn't price it at that. But that's a lie. They did. They lied to everyone saying the topper was exclusive to the anniversary game. Then they made it for everybody. Lie, lie, lie, lie. Move the goalposts. We haven't forgotten this stuff. That's why when people go in there and shill the game and say Transformers toys are amazing, I think you guys are better than that. I mean it. I think you're better than that. I think you should have a little bit more of, I think you should take more time and think through and think about it holistically. It's sometimes easier to see things clear from a distance. I mean this. You know, we're not going over there. And also, you know, you got people that saw Sonic and know Sonic is so much better. And then they won't tell you that. I just don't like that. It's not how I roll. I mean, there are people who bought Elvira 40th for $25, 000 when it first came out. Sonic will be Avatar 2.0. Now, addicted, I've seen Sonic and I've seen Avatar. Addicted to cockpits, I guarantee you Sonic will not be Avatar. Thank you for watching. And I don't, I wouldn't, you know, it'd be like, it'd be like, I can only imagine what they're going through. I think about like me in this house and what I owe every month, right? Stern owes money every month to the private equity people. They have to pay back the loan, okay? I think about what I owe. Oh man, Pinwoofer, baby. God bless the USA. Do you think, and Pinwoofer, correct me if I'm wrong, but you have now, You have now developed the Spike 3 sound upgrade, right? That people can throw into their Pokemon. Now, I'm planning to get that because I put Pinwoofer into my GNR and it was amazing. All right. I'm not going to stop you from sending me one to put in there and tell everybody how great it is and shill it, baby. Let's do it, baby. I can be like Ralph for a month. Let's do it, baby. Let's do it. Let's tell everybody how great it is. Yeah, baby. Got it for free. I'll do some work. I mean, come on. The content's the work. It's hard. Dan is the man. When I installed my Guns N' Roses pin woofer, I had some questions. It wasn't even like there was an issue. I just had some questions, and Dan called me right away. Unbelievable. One of the other content creators. Like, he's just bad for my mental health. If I'm bad for your mental health, man, you're not really going to cut into this world, man. This world is brutal. You know what the thing is with, like, the dudes who, like, they just should just hang out with me more. You know what? Like, I would want to be my friend. And I mean that. I love when people, like, he talks about himself in the third person. But if I saw all the pinball content creators out there, I'd be like, you know, I don't know, man. Kaneda looks like he's having fun. He talks about himself in the third person. His wife is really hot. His kids are adorable. He lives in a great town. He drives a Dodge Demon. He's really insecure, which we all can relate to. And he's not as rich as he says he is. Like, I want to be friends with that guy. Like, that guy, that guy is interesting. When you sit down at a dinner table with Kaneda, it's not going to be boring. He's not going to talk about the markets. He's not going to talk about investments. He's just going to like have fun. He's going to want to know who built the pyramids. He'll have an opinion about it and nobody can prove him wrong. And he's just having a good time. And the rest of us are like, hey, man, like when you really want to start the multiplier, you know, you shoot the art like shut that no one gives a shit about how to start the multiplier. We don't care. Nobody cares. Nobody cares that Pokemon code is delayed. Nobody cares. It's weird. You know, it's got it. I will say this. It must be frustrating to be like a sincere pinball content creator in 2026. And you got this guy, Keneada, just making fun of us all the time. It's like, here I am. Here I am in love with pinball. He never plays pinball. He doesn't know anything about pinball. He's been in it. Why does he have all the followers? Why are they watching him? You know, they never do. They, you know, it's hard to go live. It's hard to go live like this and entertain a crew like this. Something off in here. I don't know. Maybe, maybe not. You never sold Neo Geo. He will get into an argument with my wife about Taylor Swift drinking. Yeah, I will. Jamie, I will absolutely do that. Jamie, Jamie, can we all can we all say, Jamie, we love you. You know, it's hard for Jamie because Jamie, you know, Jamie and Ralph are tight. I like I and Jamie, I tell this Ralph should just engage us more like he doesn't he disengages. He disengages because we're just taking the piss out of each other. Jamie, Jamie's from New York. Jamie, remember when we got in our like our funny fight and we were like, I'm going to kick your ass. You're like, I'm going to kick your ass. And we're like, literally, wow, I never told you this, but while we were fighting, I was actually taking a bubble bath. You know, I had this like moment. I'm like, what am I doing? Like, what are we doing? And Jamie was the same way. We were just like, what are we doing, man? And since then, right, Jay? See, I think sometimes you just have to like, just come to fisticuffs and then just like, rebuild and recalibrate like a true friendship. I mean, Kale's the funniest guy in all of pinball. You know, like, and I know exactly what Kale is doing at all times. And he loves to, like, stir the pot, right? But that's funny. Like, it's so funny. You just don't want to end up, like, like, rule number one for every pinball content creator, don't end up on a Stern promotional social media video. You know what I'm saying? Don't have your body there, the back of your jacket. Don't praise the game when you're affiliated with another company. Jeff Dodson did it right. So Jeff Dodson, you know, the sound guy, Dirty Pole. Who do you think he works for? Who is he doing all the sound for? Who? He's doing it all for Barrels of Fun. So what's he doing at Stern? What's he doing there? Okay. But notice, you didn't see him there, did you? You didn't see him on camera. You didn't see him being like, oh man, it's got a big Megatron that fires a ball to a wire form. You know what I'm saying? It's like, how bad is that? Megatron doesn't even hit anything. Why isn't he shooting Optimus? Why isn't he shooting the player? He fires the ball to a wire form. Hmm. Kaneda's going to make fun of this. Ah, Soundwave's arm broke off. Did we get to the bottom of that? Of course, Franchi's doing the Goonies art, Kelly. Come on, man. You know this. Kelly, I think you should give $100 right now for two reasons. A, you can, and B, you know that I've been saying Franchi's doing Goonies artwork. I think $100 and we'll just forgive you. We'll just call it even at $100. How's that sound? So, will they do it? You know, it's funny. Like, I love the donations. We got Ozzy. We got Ozzy at 100, and we got Pinwoofer at 100. And, you know, that's definitely enough for Brenda's Sake Fund. Okay, here's $100. I don't know. Kelly, I didn't see it. I don't see it. Wireform. Yeah, Wireform are the new toys. Like, yeah. I feel bad for Elliot, man. Do you guys think Elliot nailed Transformers, Mechs, and Toys? Do you think we'll ever get the truth? I mean, I know the truth. But do you think publicly we'll get the truth? You see, George almost had me. George was close. You know what I'm saying? George oversold it. And the moment he oversold it, you realize he wasn't being honest, completely honest. Right? You know it is, right? When George just could have said, you know, the linkage didn't work and we had to take it. But when he said, you know, it wasn't really fun anyway. Once he said that, you know, man, we got you, George. You went too far. You oversold it. You know, you oversold. It's like it's kind of like saying if I said to Brenda, like, you know, I'm really tired. But, you know. But sex isn't even good anyway. Like, it's just, you know what I'm saying? I don't know, it's a bad enough, but you know what I mean? You oversold it. Ozzy, how you feeling, brother, after the, the, what is it, gallbladder? Are you, are you, I mean, are you feeling all right? Hey, everybody, like what you like, don't like what you don't, pretty damn easy. Yeah, absolutely. Do you think I would let someone on the internet keep me from buying something that I enjoy? No. What I don't understand is, you know, I don't hang out. Like, I don't listen to like, I only really listen to like Kale, you know, some of the roundtables, Kelly Daniel, there we go. PINBALL PALACE Ralph, are you doing more work than Mason? Things that make you go, hmm. We should do a fundraiser for Mason. Can we do that? Can we, I think collectively, can we get the Kaneda Club to raise money to get Mason a Sonic CE? Now, I know that sounds like a lot of money, but if we divide and conquer, what if we could do that? What if we could make it so Mason gets the same payment as Rob? I think we could do it. Don't get mad, Rob. We're just taking the piss out of all this. This is the part where the mental health, we're just having fun, man. This isn't really like we got to laugh at all this. We just want Mason to get equal pay. Oh, my God. This is funny, man. Because no one, like, I don't know, man. This is funny that, like, there's a dude following a dude around making, like, helping him edit his pinball content. It's just, I don't know. It's just funny to me. It's funny to me that to be like, like, he's legit like a pinball influencer. I'm not. No, Mason doesn't get a game. Mason loves you, dog. I'm here. Is that you, Mason? No, like, you know what? I should find out what Ralph is paying Mason and pay him like $1 more to become my editor. Dude, Mason, I'm at. Dude, Mason, trust me. You'd rather follow Kaneda around. I mean, Tomi Jazz, Dodge Demon, baby girls at work just chilling. Sperling Island D.L. Lewis, and J.J. Johnson. What's Ralph doing? When you're setting up all the right, what's he doing? What's he doing? Baby! Basin, do all the work and I'm getting the game. You know, I mean, is there like makeup and wardrobe too when you're like a pinball influencer? What's the scene like? What's the scene? Mason, brother, are you cool with us doing a fundraiser? Mason, are you getting a Sonic CE? I mean, if you are, let us know, man. The thing is, you've got to let us know because it's part of the transparency thing. See, people forget this. The reason we had the falling out the first time, it was not made clear that there was payment exchange. And I said, I was a jerk about it. I'll admit it. I basically might have threatened to reveal that information. And then all of a sudden it was revealed. Not the best approach by Kaneda. Not one of my finer moments. But, you know, I think what happened, again, this is my insecurity coming through. This is my jealousy coming through. I think what kind of made me a little, like, it's like I know how much work I do to get what I make. And then I'm like, man, you're just handing him $15, 000. Like, I know there's work involved, but not that much work. And then, like, Mason's doing most of the work. This is funny. Do you think any unboxed during Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are like, oh. You know, let me check Town Rumor with them. There might be some Turtles new in box. I definitely think there's probably some somewhere. There's, I mean, there's everything still in a box. I've never even met Jim Raff before. Oh. Is it a different Mason? Is it? This is funny, man. I hope you guys are having a good time. This is all stupid. Ralph, if you get mad, come on. We're all just having fun here, man. Everyone's having fun. Dude, I would love it if people made content and just made fun of me for 30 minutes, an hour. See, they won't do it because I know I love that attention. See, this is why you can't really beat Kaneda. Because if you make a show like ranting about me, A, I won't even listen, probably, which is fine. And Ralph doesn't listen to this. And who did that once? And then they put it behind the paywall. Was it Albert? Behind the paywall. I never even listened to that show. People are like, oh, man, he's saying you're this. He's saying you're like, yeah, I'm that. Whatever it is, I'm that. And as I always say, every horrible thing people say about me maybe is true, but I'm so much more. And that's the part. The so much more part is the important part. Okay, you know, well, he's a jerk. He's, he doesn't play pinball like he, he, you know, he's a bad drunk. Like he's like, you know, can't man, they can't, it's boring. The rest is boring, boring, boring, boring. The Kinetis is. Look, they've all they've all come at me. They've all come at me at one point or another. They've all made their Kenaida takedown shows. And you know what happens? The reason I love all of it is when they make their Kenaida takedown shows, it simply makes more people subscribe. Who do you want to listen to? I'm okay being like kind of like the villain in some of these people's eyes because in the end, I'm a hero to the Canadian club. And I love being a hero to these amazing people because they're the coolest dudes in pinball. They're the coolest dudes in pinball. You understand that like Ed Ed Robertson, club member. Iceman, club member. Ozzy, club member. Kelly Daniel, club member. Coolest people in pinball. You know? Who else? Jack Danger. Thank you for watching See you know who used to Lyman used to pull me aside and this is a true story You say Chris keep doing what you doing People at Stern listen to everything you saying and you are saying things about our company that we can say and we appreciate it Oh. Hmm. Gave everybody the playbook. Be real. Be funny. Be self-deprecating. Go to the gym. The last one, you know what it is? Get intimate. Get intimate more often. You know what I'm saying? When you're getting some, you're not like, yeah, it's my mental health because of pinball content. Oh, there's pinball content creators. Oh, you can see these guys are wound so tight. They start to, it's almost like if they could, they'd make love to these machines more than their wives. Like, guys, just get off more. You calm down a little bit. Thank you for watching. If you're a member of the Kaneda Pinball Podcast Club, you should join. It's a lot of fun. These guys here are a testament to that. I think we enjoy doing this every single week. It's been a wild ride. It never grows old. It never does. And, you know, just when you think it's like, oh, we know everything. And oh, man, OG Star Trek. Oh, man. Fallout delayed to next year. How do I join? All right. So, Bobby, let's do this right now. Let me let me get a link to Kaneda Pinball Podcast. If you type in Kaneda Pinball Podcasts and then Patreon. Okay, here we go. We got a lot of people at way more than five bucks. I really appreciate every single, you know, every single. And Bobby, when you join, man, I'm going to give you a big shout out for joining Kaneda's pinball podcast. And you know, it's crazy. You join now, you get like a thousand shows are just like unlocked. All I need is a cool car, a truck, jeep, or bike, Antonio Cruz and relax, and better investments over pinball machines. Yeah, and yes, I have all of them mentioned. You know, Brad, you get it, man. Brad, are you a member of the Kaneda Club? I think you are. Brad, I see you all throughout. Yeah, $10 buying if you're cool. That's right. Well, you know, like life is very simple. You know, I've said this and this is why the I don't know, the manufacturers don't love me because I don't think you just need more of the same thing you've already got. I think there's I think there's diminishing returns in life in general. It's everything in life. If you have three drinks, you probably don't need four or five and six. If you have three great pins, four, five, and six is not going to do anything for you. In fact, the more you add, the less time you can spend on the things that matter. You know, I was loving MGK did an interview. I do the 20K per month, Kaneda. Where's my machine? MGK did a great interview in which he talked about, you know, my favorite new album, Lost Americana, how it only has 13 songs. And he explained, you know why artists, I didn't know this, the reason why artists are now releasing albums with like 30, 40 tracks, like Taylor Swift, just because it immediately bumps them up because of the amount of tracks being streamed. And he's like, I want to just keep it at 13. And he's like, you know, these songs matter. Like, I don't care about arbitrarily trying to climb the charts. And he's right. Every song is great. Like, I don't know, if you listen to some of these new artists and it's like song number 27, it's like after song three, it's garbage. How much did you make on the next episode? I didn't bet. I made a little bit the game before and then I got drunk and I lost it on hockey and baseball and I'm taking a break. Now, I set limits for my sports betting, but in general, you guys know me, I'm very transparent. It's not good behavior. Okay, it's not good. Like your house will always win. I mean, it's crazy. When the hockey game was 2-0, I bet under four and a half goals, and there was only like 10 minutes to go in the game, and the final score was like 4-3. They went from two goals to seven goals in 10 minutes. Yeah, right, William? Isn't MGK amazing? It's a great concert. It's fine, man. Look, it's not everybody's thing. It's, um, like I, um, yeah, I'm just happy the Knicks are winning, man. And, you know, look, the Spurs are easily capable of winning four straight against the Knicks as well. So, you know, nobody in New York is counting their chickens before they hatch. And we've been down this road before. I don't think up to oh. Yeah, no, dude, you know, the thing about sports betting, man, and it's really. It's really insidious and it's it's terrible that they that these young men and I mean, like kids in high school now. And even younger is where the sports betting addiction is is happening, and I feel. Well, you know, sometimes when I get into a behavior which I know is not healthy, what I like to do is go listen to, you know, podcasts about people who struggle with that addiction and you see it. It's like the sports betting addiction. It's like the pain is actually more addictive than the pleasure. And that's why you just every time you lose that intensity of like of like anger and second guessing yourself and oh, but I could have I could have gone the other way. And I'm going to if if I could just go back, I will I will do it better next time. That is that's where the addiction and the. The problems begin. And also, it's like, you know, like, I don't bet a lot, you know, but I do lose. Like, when I win, I win, you know, I can win a few thousand, I can lose a few thousand, but I'm not betting like lots of money. And I definitely have like my, I cap how much I can take out a week. And it's not a lot. But, you know, those are self-imposed. But can you imagine being like 18, getting addicted to it? You know what that leads to? Stealing money from your parents. It leads to taking out loans you don't have. When you hear some of these stories where people are literally losing tens of thousands, hundreds of thousands, millions of dollars, there's a lot of sports gamblers. And you think about, no. I've got a young family. When I was growing up on my block, and this was a really nice town in Westchester County, this guy was a lawyer making bank. One day the moving truck comes and is just picking up everything. The guy gambled away millions of dollars. This guy was married with kids, lost his house, lost everything he owned. Gambling is like drinking, right? It doesn't make anybody's life better. You never hear someone be like, you know what really the solution would be to being happier and having a better life? You should gamble. Sperry Pintball. But I will say, you know, there's a reason why sports betting is the number one cause of suicide with all addictions, because the pain is just beyond brutal. Throwing money at strippers. All right, guys, we are at time. Was this a good show today? I feel like it was good. It was more energy than last week's. I do want to say if I offended you and I made fun of you at your expense, I'm sorry. Put up content making fun of me. Life is very short. All pinball content is silly and stupid. You do know this, right, guys? All you guys out there chasing views and all this is stupid. I like making this stupid content. We have fun doing stupid stuff together. We all agree on that. We're just grown men acting like children talking about stupid stuff for like an hour and a half. It's when people can't even say what they're doing is stupid. It's all stupid. Like, okay. Like, literally, it's like if you even like zoom out and look at the geopolitical world of what's happening in this world, this is as dumb as it gets. Like someone threatened to fight someone over what they said about being a stern shill. Can you imagine walking into a bar and being like, that a-hole called me a pinball shill. Step outside. You know what I'm saying? What's next for barrels, man? I don't know, man. I think it's He-Man or Big Trouble in Little China. I think it might be Big Trouble in Little China. Cargo shorts, baby. Dude, cargo shorts people were triggered for a while. Van Halen is this year. Spooky's gonna, I mean, JJP's gonna have two lines. All right, guys, be good. Go chili. MGK tonight, Porch Fest. Love you guys. Be good. We're gonna end this stream. Unless you guys want to hear me play the piano. You want to hear a song? Because I was going to play a song as it's porch fest out the window. Should we do a little Tickle the Ivory? I mean, it's always fun to do the concert version of November Rain. You know. Here we go. Ready? Axel transposes, which means he tunes down one key. Thank you. Now this is how Axl used to play November Rain, like, in the concerts back in the day. It would be like... The All abbreviated. Thank you for listening. The Nothing lasts forever, even Karni and I. And then, you know, the slash gets on top of the piano and acts as just a... Thank you for watching. Before we go, A little strange real quick, real quick. I'm not making anybody stay, but here we go. Ready? The I mean... You can see why hanging out with Keneda Out of bar. It's just like, it's just different, man. It's just a different club. It's a different crew. How's everybody doing? Was that all right? I mean, it's just, it's just no sheet music, all by memory. It's just like, I love doing it. I love doing it. And like, I will say the gift of music is the greatest gift. I can't wait to give it to my kids. Um, everybody. Yeah, no, I mean, when I was a little, when I was like 13, man, and I first heard November Rain, I just, all I wanted to do was like learn how to play it like Axel. Open the door. Come here, buddy. Open the door. Come say hi to everybody. Kassian, are we going for a walk? All right, everybody. Be good. Take care. No, Brenda made some beautiful babies. I'm so lucky. They didn't get my looks. They got Brenda's. Everybody have a great Saturday. Thank you for all that. We got so many more donations, too. I just want to let's give a shout out to everybody real quick. The top fans today. Ozzy, Kelly Daniel, Penwoofer, FCA, FCHS54. I think that's Mason, JGB Family, Fizzy, Anthony, everybody, Brian. Love you guys. Later. And nothing on Facebook. Facebook's gang. Facebook's coming to a crashing halt.
