## Analysis

We Are Pinball hosts Don and Denmark discuss upcoming pinball releases, particularly Pedretti Gaming's Totem (Tales of the Arabian Nights remake) and Spooky Pinball's Beetlejuice. Conversation covers pricing expectations (Totem under $10K preferred), design philosophy (two art versions with flexible trim options), manufacturing quality (Spooky's RJ45 connectors vs USB reliability issues), international shipping challenges, and speculation about strong themes for European markets like RoboCop.

### Key Claims

- [HIGH] Totem will be available in two versions: one with original classic artwork and one with reimagined artwork by Brian Allen — _Andrea Pedretti provided this information live to the hosts via phone/message during recording_
- [HIGH] Totem pricing will be under $20,000 — _Directly stated by Don at beginning of episode; confirmed by Pedretti communication_
- [HIGH] Beetlejuice has run for about a month at a show games location with zero issues — _Denmark directly reports personal experience with deployed Beetlejuice unit_
- [HIGH] Spooky uses RJ45 network cables for light boards instead of USB connectors, addressing reliability issues — _Denmark unboxed Beetlejuice and directly verified cable types; industry observation about USB connector failures_
- [HIGH] Shipping a Beetlejuice with separate topper required dual pallet shipping from factory to Denmark at significant extra cost — _Denmark describes specific experience with Morgan at Spooky arranging custom packaging_
- [HIGH] Ideally Totem should cost under $10,000 to justify purchase over competing titles like Beetlejuice, Yukon Yeti, and Sonic — _Don states his personal purchasing threshold explicitly_
- [MEDIUM] U.S. tariffs on pinball machines have not benefited the domestic industry or increased sales for American manufacturers — _Don's opinion based on industry observation; states friends in U.S. industry also opposed to tariffs_
- [MEDIUM] Spooky's theme selection (Ultraman, Domino's, Alice Cooper, etc.) has not produced strong international themes compared to potential licenses like RoboCop — _Denmark's subjective assessment of Spooky's catalog; speculation about what would sell in Scandinavian market_

## Transcript

Hi everybody, welcome to the We Are Pinball collaboration. Don and Denmark together for you, for pinball, for integrity, for flippers, for polished chrome balls, and the finest merchandise this side of the Orient. How you doing, buddy? I'm doing great. I have my Christopher Franchi shirt on. It's summer. It's a bright day. It's a lovely day. I'm so happy. I'm so happy you're back, Donnie. I've missed you, buddy. You're working. You're working too much. I quit all my jobs. I'm currently unemployed, so this is what we're doing now. Yes! Wab shows once a week, right? Yes, sir. Thank you, Patreon, for making it happen. Yeah. This is fun. We're going into a fun week. We got a media day coming up. Golden State Pinball Festival is this weekend. I'm going to be there. Pedretti's new game is going to be there, but it's not even a new game. It's an old game. But maybe it's got some new stuff in it. Who knows? How much does it cost? Who cares? I'm saving up $20, 000 so I can put a deposit down at Resident Evil. So much to talk about. Okay, let's just start with Totem, okay? The upcoming game Totem. Very good. You've known about this for a while, and you didn't tell me nothing. It's official now, so we can say it's Totem. The prices are not official yet. Of course not. But I can tell you it's under $20, 000 as you mentioned that second ago. So it's cheaper than that. But I have Pedretti right now on the phone and I asked him some questions. Oh, good. I said that we will go live. So I directly ask if I can share some information that I know, prices, versions, and so on. So he says, give me 10 minutes, I will write up. So everything is happening live. So Andrea Padretti, let's go, buddy. Perfect. We'll throw him out there. Okay, great. So I came across a Facebook posting from the Funhaus group. Like there's five people that are in it. And there's a guy that has a midnight edition. This was the higher tier level, the Brian Allen art, all that stuff. And he made it seem like the topper was going to be included, but then he hadn't received it. And I was like fired up. I'm like, what? How was another company selling games with promised toppers not delivering them? It turns out I went and read the fine print from the release from Funhaus. And it just said that there was going to be a topper that was only available for the midnight edition, but it was going to be released at a later date for an extra cost. So it was never going to be included. Still, I think he was posting saying, like, has anybody heard about this thing? Like, where the hell is it? We should ask Mr. Andrea that, you know. We can do it. Where is this promised topper? But it looks like there was going to be an aftermarket topper, but it was only going to be sold for people that purchased the Midnight Edition, which is weird. I mean, have it available to everybody, maybe give a 20% discount to Midnight Purchasers or something. Maybe the art only fits for the Midlight Edition or something. I have no idea. But I remember they posted that only for the Elite version. Tales of the Arabian Nights remake is a game that I've been waiting for back in 2020. And then in about 2023, I gave up waiting for it. And so now it's here, and I'm just like, I'm not as excited. There's so much else right now that as fun as Toten is and as cool as it looks, and even if it has 2.0 code, I don't have the money. I want to play it. I'll play it. I know you like the game, right? Yeah, dude, the game's great. It looks great. The genie's fun. It's got fun magnets. The little spider cage in the in-lane that grabs the ball there captures it. The theme is on point, and it was perfect for the 90s. They were the best 90s games, but we're not in the 90s anymore. And we like that nostalgia, but we require more for our monies. How come you mentioned 2.0 code? What do you know? Someone mentioned that it's coming with a 2.0 code. Is it not? I don't know. I don't know yet. I'm waiting for an answer right now. You know how I am. I cannot share anything before they say share this. Is it coming at a later date only for midnight totem buyers and it'll be an extra cost and the 2.0 code will have Brian Allen Art? Is that it? I don't know yet. All right. Well, that didn't come from Jengiz. That came from the Internet. I saw that. Okay. And it totally should. It totally should come with an optional package. I hope, okay, that when you want to play the original code, when you want to play the 2.0 code, it's a lot easier than rebooting the machine. The first time I played Funhaus on location, like I coined up and then tried to play the new code, but it was running the old code, and so I had to reboot the game to switch over, and then my credits were lost because they belonged to the other thing. I shouldn't have to go through, right, an escape room puzzle just to play a pinball machine. I want to left flipper, code 1, flipper 2, code 2.0. That's what I want to do. Everybody's figured it out. I don't want to have to reboot a game because you're asking too much for a customer coining up. Oh, I want to play the new thing and then their credits are gone. That sucks. So that made Don pretty angry about the Funhouse game. He lost the credit. It wasn't lost. I just had to reboot again, go back, play an OG game. Then I figured it out, but yeah, I was like trying to get through an escape room puzzle just to play pinball. That's too much, I think. Yeah. So in your dream scenario, when this Totem game, Tales from the Arabian Nights, comes out, what's your dream scenario? Do you want one gold edition or do you want original Williams and a jacked up version or three versions chrome gold or a pro version where the genie is a plastic? In your dream scenario, what do you think? Also pricing. Yeah, so there's going to be two camps of people that are buying this game. There's going to be people that want the original look and original gameplay, but just a newer build. And then there's other people that are probably like me where, yeah, if you've got fancier art, throw it in there. But give me that classic gameplay, but like a modern approach to it. And so I think there should be two versions, but I don't think one version should be the higher price, It's limited version and the other one not. There should just be two versions. Pick which one you want, which art package, and then put finishes on them. If you want black powder coat, that could be standard, or you can upgrade to armor, but you can choose between the two art packages. I think that's what you should have the option for. If you want to make a higher tier and then a lower tier, make each art available for either one. So you can have a standard OG art, or you can have a standard but with the new art if you want, or if you want to go fancy. Because, you know, people, you know, the person that wants the fancy version may also want the nostalgic art. And if the fancy version only comes in new art, then they can't buy that, you know. How much should it cost before you say, well, I don't want a hip restored one for, how much should it cost? $14, 000 or $15, 000 I would expect to pay for like a high-end pinball complete restoration, everything brand new, hand-painted and everything. In today's market, I'd expect something around that. I think, you know, like if I was doing all the work, that's what I would want to charge for. Okay. It would be worth it. Okay. Do you know how much a hip restored one costs today? I don't even know if there's any on the market, but yeah, I'd expect it to be around there, you know, between $12, 000 and $15, 000. Okay. How much do you think this one should cost? For me to even consider it, it would have to be under $10, 000. And that's with tariffs and delivery and everything. For me. I was just about to say about the tariffs. Can you just cancel all this tariff stuff? That could be awesome. I vote for that. Yeah, sure. Yeah, let's do that. We don't want tariffs, guys. The United States pinball industry is not threatened by products from Europe. So I don't know the point of tariffing them. That's not the reason that American Pinball had trouble selling games was because of all the high-quality, low-priced games from Europe. That wasn't the reason. I'm telling you, when Predator came out, we got hit by tariffs next day or something, and the prices were like, whoa. Putting tariffs on pinball machines didn't all of a sudden create a thousand more sales for Multimorphic. I don't think they've done one thing good for the industry here in the U.S. And I'm friends with people in the industry in the U.S. And they don't like them either. It's not helping the industry. Tariffs should be used to help American industry for putting them on there or whichever country is putting them on. I just don't see the point here. It's just hurting us here. Pinballs are expensive enough. So we don't need no tariff. I'm waiting for Europe to really bring it. The last great European game that I really wanted was Big Lebowski. And I haven't seen a release since then that I really genuinely wanted. Okay. So this one should cost under $10K before you will consider buying one. Yeah, and that could be the standard version, yeah. But if I'm looking at a market with Beetlejuice, Spooky's Next, Yukon Yeti, Sonic, some other fun stuff that's rumored to be coming out, Transformers is around the corner. For me to say, no, I don't want any of that, I want a toe tan in wrinkled black powder coat, it better be under 10. Okay, okay, fair enough. For this guy, for this guy. For this guy, yeah, he hadn't, come on, Pedretti, get back, I want to update everything. Oh, wait, man. Okay, well, I feel the same way, actually. I'm very excited about this game. It's a game that I really, really love, Donnie. But I think Pinball is very expensive. Yes, absolutely. I mean, yeah, yeah. So let's see. And a lot of games are coming out right now. Wait, it says Cummins. How the heck do we control this? There we go. All right. Good. Before we start this with the next game, I want to say thank you for the awesome t-shirts. Thank you to you. Thank you to Team Spooky. Thank you to Christopher Franchi. It's awesome. I have, you know, two bags of new clothes and t-shirts and everything. The only thing I messed up was here in Europe I use 3XL and when you send me the American 3XL t-shirts, Donnie, I mean the arms are coming up all the way out here. Oh my God. So we have this concept. We talk about being like an LA 5 but a Wisconsin 10, right? You know, like relative scales. So to make us feel better here in the U.S., we basically put our sizes like one size smaller. You know, so our large size would be your plus size generally in Europe. Because when I go to Europe, I've got to buy like two or three X shirts to get the same fit. How does that make you feel? We're stocky over here, man. I want to say it's the shoulders. That's it? Yeah. Okay. Let us leave it there. I'm just so happy with it. Our pizza restaurants have drive-thru windows, so you don't even have to get out of your car to get a pizza. You just pull up to the window and they put it right in your car. Dude. American innovation. And you have breakfast at McDonald's, right? Every day, yeah. We're required to, by law, drive to McDonald's every day to get breakfast, yeah. So just for Europeans to understand, what's on that breakfast from McDonald's? So how do you start the day with proteins and everything? So you can get pancakes, eggs, and sausage, right? But mainly everything is breakfast sandwiches, like a bagel with eggs, meat, cheese, butter. Oh. And that comes with a fried hash brown patty and a soda or a coffee or orange juice, whatever you want. Okay. But yeah, you can always buy one, get another sandwich for a dollar. So it's like, well, if I'm buying one, I should get another one for a dollar. So you end up with two breakfast sandwiches, and then you break your hash brown between them, and then you drink your Diet Coke, and there we go. That's what I do. It's sandwich bagel and some green stuff in there. That's fine. I thought it was like bacon and sausage and more bacon and sausage and some fries around it. There's no green stuff at all. Forget that. No, but eggs meet either sausage, steak, or bacon, and then cheese, and then butter. And then you can get it on a bagel. You can get it on this pancake thing called a McGriddle. You can get it on a biscuit. You can get it on another type of biscuit. You can get burritos for breakfast. That means you will get diabetes. We do. Yeah, absolutely. Insulin resistance is packed in there. Yeah. Bam. And that's just McDonald's. You can go to Wendy's. You can go to Jack of the Box. You can go to Hardee's, depending on what side of the country you live on. You can go to Carl's Jr. if you're weird. But yeah, man. Wow, man. So many options. And as you're driving down the street, you've got the app open so you can order the food while you're driving, and then you get a number. You pull into the drive-thru, give them the number, get your food, drive away. Easy. Convenient. No sidewalks. People don't walk here. I beat it, baby. I'm just saying. Okay. Donnie. Yes. I want to talk about Spooky Pinball. Oh, okay. I know those guys. Yeah, you know them. Oh, my goodness. Last month, I unboxed Beetlejuice. Yes, sir. It's on a location. It's being played. It's turned on for hours. On my video, I lift the playfield up, and I show the underside of the playfield, no stinking USB connectors. Oh. Thank God for that. You guys use the RJ45 network click cables. For the light boards, yeah, each light board. Yes, I mean, if the game had, I don't want to mention other companies now, but please stop using USB plugs. Because those games, my bro, he took them home from locations, sold them for like ridiculously low prices because he's fed up with those USB plugs. I don't know if it's because of heat or something. They just fry the boards or they just stop working. If they're rattling loose or the connection's a little loose, that could cause a little spark there that could burn. Maybe. Or just lose connection. It's USB, you know. Yeah, yeah. So he just fed up with it. So they're gone. We don't want those games. So this one, I'm just going to tell you, we're headed for about a month now. From unboxing Beetlejuice, playing it like crazy, zero issues. What? Zero, zero issues, buddy. All right, because they're all working when they leave the factory. Like, you know, they're played for, you know, at least an hour or so. They're left on overnight just to make sure if any issues crop up, that's when they do. And they do. Issues happen with pinball, you know, and this process that we have, or they have, Is that it's caught before it goes into a box. Now, shipping and things can cause things to wiggle loose. Every machine is going to require some maintenance. But that's good to hear that you've got this out there. Is it earning money? It's – the location it's in right now is a huge location as a show games location when we sell the games. Oh, okay. So it's not an arcade. You just pay like 10 bucks or something and you're in there and you can play all the games on free play. But I'm telling you, the game is very popular. We're happy with it. And it just works out of the box. That's so important. But yeah, we posted on our Facebook group and people are like, whoa, this is so cool. I want to buy this. And I'm like, that's not possible. Sorry. I want to see this. So is your showroom and the Retro Arcade in, is that the same thing? Or is this two different locations? Retro Arcade in Denmark are seven different locations. Oh, okay. Okay. So you have a separate showroom as well. I think I've seen the showrooms. But we have a big showroom and small arcades around Copenhagen. Those places, they just make money. But the big showroom is awesome. But that big showroom is open one to two days a week only for the public. I want to come out and see it. But if you want to buy a game, if you call us and say, you know, I want to buy a Harry Potter CE, then you can come in on a Wednesday and try it and buy it. That's okay. Yeah, but if I have to drive in and pay those gas prices, would you just ship instead? Jenkins and I were talking about this earlier. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I mean, yeah, it's expensive, man. Here in Europe, gasoline prices. So you paid for air shipping, and how long did it take the game to get from the factory to your place? Listen to this story. I want to talk about this game, but I need to share this. So the game is ready. Morgan, she contacts me and said, the game is ready to be picked up. Fine. So our guys drives out to Spooky, picks the game up, ready to ship and everything. But the thing is, usually we just put them in a plane and fly them home. But on this game, we bought the topper. And that's spooky. How do you pack the topper? You throw it on top of the box and strap it. Yeah. Do you know what that does? That makes it not possible to fit in an airplane. Oh, no. It will be too high. Hey, and flying with an airplane today with these gas prices, it's just so freaking expensive, Donnie. So I asked Morgan, can you please pack the chopper on another small box? Of course, we will pay for your time and effort and everything. And she was like, yep, we will do that. So she packed it, and then when our guys picked it up, it was on the same size as a normal flipper pallet. Yeah. So we had to pay dual shipping. Oh, no. So expensive. So I think next time, I think on the next game, your upcoming six games, we bought them already. But I think I will ask the guys to just install the extra topper, bam, and then package it. Yeah, that didn't even occur to me. Because, yeah, if it's shipping on a pallet, it's going to take up the same square footage. They're going to charge you. So either you pay to ship the game, air freight, and then you just slow boat the topper, or, yeah, see if we can install the good topper and then package everything up. Yeah, that might be the way to do it. All right. I mean, you guys can do custom stuff because everything is cool. I unboxed the game and then on the plug it says Retro Jango Edition 101. I was like, I was in tears, man. I was so happy. Thank you, guys. I was so freaking – and people, when they see this, oh, what the heck is the Retro Jango Edition? It's so cool. I didn't know this, but thank you, really. I'm just so happy. So you finally got to play it. What do you think? I know if a game shoots well, the first ball. It was just such a blast to play the game. I heard some people said, you need to play this game 12, 15, 20 times before you find the shots, before you get into the game. And what the heck? From Ball 1, I was having fun. Ball 2, I started the day-o mode. Ball 2, first game, started the day-o mode. It was such a fun experience. I don't want to spoil it for people that haven't seen it, but it's such a cool mode. I love it. I think it's fun in tournaments also because it makes the lesser pro guy, gives him a chance in a tournament. Because of the wild things that's going on. Yeah, I really like it. Yeah, now Beetlejuice wasn't a property you were really familiar with. How about the rest of Denmark? Do people know what this theme is? Or is it just a weird, haunted, goofy game? No, my bro, he knew about the movie, but he was not on. No, but when we posted, I made a video about it. We have 3, 000 or 4, 000 people in Scandinavia that I'm admin of. When I posted, people were like, hey, I want to buy this game. They saw my video, and they were like, I want to buy this game. So people in Denmark know it, but we don't really know it. I know there's a second film out right now. Yeah. So, yeah, I mean, this was an American movie that came out in 1998, and it was one of Tim Burton's first movies, like, before he became a big name. So it wasn't like a smash hit right away. It was the 10th highest grossing film that year, so I guess it did good domestically here. A lot of the actors that are in that film went on to become pretty big names, but at the time they weren't. And so maybe it wasn't in a ton of theaters out there in 1988 when it came out. I don't know who are young. What other movies came out then? I'm going to look while you talk. In 88, twins. Oh my God. Michael Jackson, Moonwalker. Hell yeah. Twins. There's a bunch of stuff I've never heard of here. Top 1988 picks. Can you give me Moonwalker and a bunch of stuff I've never heard of? Come on, Netflix, get out of here. Oh, Mac and Me, Big, The Naked Gun, Willow. Okay, Killer Clowns from Outer Space, Schwarzenegger and Red Heat. I've never seen that. Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Cocktail. Oh, with Tom Antonio Cruz? Yeah. Was that in 88? Man. Yeah, yeah. Can I ask you something? Sure. You being a spooky guy and everything. I guess. To answer honest, okay, all the way from the start to now, do you think spooky themes are awesome international themes? What did they start with? I don't even remember. America's Most Haunted. D-Theme, right? Next game, what was that? It was Domino's or Jetsons. Or Rob Zombie. Next one? Yeah, so Rob Zombie, right, Music Pin. I know about one of his songs from The Matrix 1. Sure. Yeah, Domino's I wouldn't expect you guys. Oh, you have Domino's now. I've ordered Domino's in Copenhagen before. Yeah, yeah. They're gone now. We don't have Domino's anymore. It was too unhealthy. Yeah, absolutely. I was on a red-eye flight. I landed from San Francisco. I landed in Denmark, and it was like 6 in the morning. Luckily, they let us check in early. We were completely exhausted. I'm like, I'm just going to order a pizza. I got a pizza and I ate it and went to sleep. It was exactly what I needed. That's the only time I had Domino's in Denmark. Now it's gone. Jetsons I guess you guys probably know about that cartoon but that was not even a real game That not a strong Pinball theme And that poison what was that guy Alice Cooper Alice Cooper Nightmare Castle That not an A theme is it No, that's like a dad rock dream to put that together. But that's pretty niche. Total Nuclear Annihilation came. That's not a theme. Great game, great, great music. And then you get into Ultraman and Halloween. Ultraman, get the F out of here, theme wise. Halloween, I like the Halloween movies. Do you? Oh, yeah. I'm a fan of the character of Michael Myers. I'm a fan of Halloween in general. You know, I don't watch the movie every year. I didn't even see it until a year or two ago. But, like, I know Michael Myers, man. It's a classic movie monster. You dress up like him at Halloween and everything. But as a pinball theme, is it a strong theme? I wouldn't think it would be strong for Europe. It's a very spooky. Would Stern make it? No. Yeah, are there any themes that Spooky's done that Stern would do? Scooby-Doo? I don't know. They could do Scooby-Doo. They could do that one. Yeah. Then you get the Looney Tunes, but then you get Texas Chainsaw Massacre. I could see Stern doing Looney Tunes. I don't know if Looney Tunes would sell in thousands of units, you know. Right, right. So I think for Spookies, they were limited about 500 to 1, 000 games. Then I get it. But as a strong, strong pinball theme, I haven't seen them yet. So if you wanted a Spooky game, you know the type of games that they build, you know the numbers they build. If you were to pick a theme that you think would be very popular locally in Denmark, what kind of things are you thinking? Dude, if you guys just made Robocop 1 from 1987, bam, they will sell in an instant. Robocop, they can't be expensive today. Or you and I talked about Rambo 1 and 2. Or Rocky 4. Just press on start and listen to the music of Parks on Fire and everything. I want to do Rambo, man. I want to do Rambo. I don't know how expensive those would be, but just Rambo 1 and 2, it's just so easy. I'm pushing for that, man. First Blood is one of my favorite films ever, too. Just Rambo in the woods, returning from war, has been through tragedy, is haunted by his own inner demons, And all he wants to do is just get a bite to eat and get through town. And people are being jerks to him. And they push him to the limit. They push him beyond the limits. And his retribution is one of the greatest, like, watching movies and going along with it of anything I've ever seen. Yeah, man. And when I was a kid, I was like, fast forward to middle of the film. I didn't like the coming into, he was just walking into the town and everything. But now, on an old age, I love the beginning of that movie. You see America in 1981, 1982, those old cars walking into the town, the police stops them. It's such a good movie, man. And that in a pinball machine. I would say take the third one also with that big Russian helicopter on the back glass. Oh, that could be awesome, man. And make an animated backblast shooting missiles and machine guns and blinking lights in there. Why not? It could be awesome. So yeah, there are so many cool themes that you could do, but I just feel like not that many strong themes from Spooky. So Peter Weller, the guy that played Robocop, you can turn the TNA music down. Oh, he's still got to play it. It's looping. Peter Weller, guy from Robocop, he's from Wisconsin, from the town of Stevens Point. Also, local native is the lady that played, I forget what her name, for the Drew Carey show with all the makeup on her face. Locals will know that. But yeah, he's from Wisconsin, so I mean, Robocop had that. So if you did RoboCop again, would you put the jump ramp in on that upper orbit where the ball orbits around the ramp and jumps, the little skip ramp? Awesome question. Awesome question because you know what? Us old guys that has been in the hobby for many years, when we saw Stern took the art of King Kong between the flippers and took the same art from the old Data East game, We all got a hard-on. It was such a cool experience. So the jump ramp is a must. And you need to have a 209 at the upper left corner there. Oh, that could be so cool. Have him as a bash toy and use the upper right flipper. Remember, when you design games, never upper left flipper. Always upper right flipper. Most people are right-handed, yeah. Yeah. So you shoot with the upright fiber and shoot his legs on the ED-209. And do remember before he falls down, he cripples his leg, and then, oh, that movie. Can you imagine like a wide-body Robocop with just ramps and rails everywhere, mechanisms doing things, ED-209 hunting you. Oh, yes. You're like hitting the nuke shots, lighting changing. All loops. And you know what? The plunger, you know, on Spooky, it's always a button. Yeah. It should just be – you shouldn't be able to see the plunger, but when the ball comes out and you have to plunge, then a gun assembly, Robocop's gun should come out. The whole gun, so you can shoot. You have to have a holster come out of the leg of the pinball machine or something. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Go in again and hide the gun. All right, so what about in the side of the cabinet down below the flipper, the gun pops out and that's how you launch the ball. You reach down and fire the trigger as the gun pops out of the cabinet. Oh, come on. Some kid will get their hand stuck in it and it'll cut their fingers off, but man, that'd be so cool. I have always said, keep the games under 10K. But if you put awesome stuff in like that, in an awesome theme like that, then I would pay more. Absolutely, man. Robocop with Franchi Art. Oh, come on. He would kill it. So, yeah, you're in there. So talk with the guys and say, this dude from Denmark, he talks about Robocop, Rainbow. You said Red Heat, 1988. No, wait, Red Heat won't sell 1, 000. I don't think so. Oh, no. Pumpkinhead. Oh, my God. 1988 was on some other. Monkey Shines was 1988. License to Drive. Dude, I didn't see the chat over here. This is new for us, but listen to this one. Robocop would be bigger than Goonies for me. Oh. Some movie called Robo Vampire came out in 1988. What? Tony? Yeah. Oh, we've got some information coming in. But look at this. Do you want me to read all of this? Why don't you read through it and then summarize it for him while I talk about 1988 films? Like colors. You could see one of my old houses in that film. Man, 1988. Can we go back in time? Donnie. Earth Girls Are Easy? That was the first movie that Jim Carrey was in. What? What was it called? Earth Girls Are Easy. He made a movie where he was a spaceman like a cat or something. That's it, yeah, and they were all covered in fur. That was such a fun movie, man. I think Jeff Goldblum was in that too. Man, we can start a movie podcast. Young Einstein? Christ. Dude, dude, I'm going to read a part of the time. All right, here we go. Okay, so this is news, news, news, guys. Totem, okay. Listen to this. The game, Totem, from Pedretti, the game will be available in two versions. Sean, Penn wasn't called it. The game will be available in two versions. One featuring the original classic artwork and another with completely reimagined artwork created by pinball art master Brian Allen. Our vision with this project is to deliver a product the community can truly be proud to own. A machine designed not only to celebrate one of the greatest pinball titles ever made, but also to maintain long-term value collector appeal. Do you want me to read the rest? So, yeah, what do you got? Okay, so for this, two trims, right? That's cool. So your wish is granted. Well, I like the idea of two trims, but I want you to have the option of either art on either trim. Because maybe I want the good trim, but I want the old art. They need to be able to do that. And the trim is with Brian Allen artwork? Yeah. See, yeah, I don't want to be locked into the new art if I want the good trim. I love some trim, though. I'm going to keep on reading, okay? Go, go, go. Yeah. The game is packed with modern enhancements and features. Enhancements. Oh, that's nice. Nice. And Art, ooh, I'm going to, Artios Contribution. Now, do you know what that is? A-T-H-Y-R-I-O. I'm not going to slaughter that name. And Artio's contribution to the project has been absolutely incredible. Their work on the visual package, display animations, game code enhancements, lighting atmosphere, and modern light shows has elevated the experience tremendously. The display animations are stunning and carry the same level of quality and immersion that players have to come to expect from Arteo's acclaimed work on previous remake projects with Chicago Gaming Company. All right. So what they need to do right this moment, they need to get this game on stream or like a trailer or something showing all this off. Because there's a couple of heavy hitter games that are about to drop. And what you just read kind of sounds exciting. You know, Totan. Enhancements, man. Game enhancements. Probably a better screen, better art and animations. I need to see that right now. And then, you know, because once Transformers drops and once Sonic drops, I mean, it's going to be hard to, well, my deposits are already in there, so I don't have any money for this. But, yeah, they've got to put this out in front of people. I cannot show anything, but it's so awesome Pedretti is doing this with us, Dani. It's so cool. Just text me the photos. I won't share them with anybody. We did not try to reinvent the wheel with this remake. Our goal was to modernize and refine the experience while preserving the soul and magic of the original game. The result is a machine that features authentic, timeless, and visually breathtaking. A true piece of art pinball. Production numbers for this project will be genuinely limited. And the level of pre-order interest we are already seeing has been extremely exciting and encouraging. And that's true. I know that people have been, I want this game. And then I got some stuff that I cannot read here, but what do you think, Donnie? I mean, people love their, like if they have a high-end restored or good condition totem, like that's something they keep in their game room, you know, and when it does sell, it goes for money. So the idea that you can have one that looks like new is built with new parts. You don't have to worry about, you know, all that old maintenance and everything, changing batteries and all this. That's seductive. But the only thing holding it back is like at home, you know, the length of the length and depth of the code of the game, you know. And so if they've addressed that. He says that. Right? And the guy is a guy that worked at CGC. Yeah. I couldn't pronounce the name, but they've teased it. They've officially admitted they're doing it. Just dump everything right now. Get it out to people to stream. Let me watch some gameplay. I want to hear the new sounds, see the new animations, explain the new rule set to me, and then tell me how much it's going to cost when production is starting And when I can get one. Oh, he didn't write I was allowed to say the price. I know, but this is like, you know, like I'm excited now. So you got me like, you got me pretty excited. You've got other people that are pretty excited. Feed it to me right now. Cash out. Get it right now. If it was just a Totem remake, I wouldn't be excited. Because I've played that game for, I've owned the Totem for over 20 years, right? With one game, I can get through the game. See Aladdin on the carpet flying, saving the princess. And in the same game, I can start all over again and do it a second time. Nice. Yeah. Two times in the same game, I can go through that game. So it's very easy. But code update, display and animation, new light show. I'm like, yep. That's awesome. So, yeah, my hope is that they either just comes as like a new game with all this code ready to go, hit start, you're right into it. So you can play the original stuff and there's also new stuff in it. Or it's easier to switch between a classic version and the full version. You know, but I might be one of those guys that wants the good trim level, but I like the original art. So are they going to allow that? Okay. I cannot say you do numbers, but I can tell you. I hope it's okay. I can tell you that they are two different price levels. Yeah, and that's fine. That's fine. But you should have the option to have the classic art on the good one if you want. No, because when you pay a bit more, you should have that because he says it's a pretty limited game. Right. So it will be limited. And they have to think about tariffs. So I think the higher trim will be, somebody's guessing here, he says $7, 999. $799. Wario's in at $799. Yeah. You know, I might be too if that's the price. Yeah. I cannot say the price. I think they should say the price, but the game is about to come out. We have been talking about this, and I have been excited, but when you know everything about Spooky Pinball and you cannot talk with anybody about it, how does that make you feel? Isn't it like, ugh? I know, it sucks because, yeah, there's so much cool stuff coming on. Plus, you know, it's a company that's going to, you know, when you buy their game, you know about when you're going to get it. You know, you can watch the factory every week and see them running out. Like, this is a game, like, for me to go in on this from Pedretti, like any game from Europe, like, if I'm buying this game, I want it in a box sitting in front of me where I can just buy it and take it home. I don't want to put out money and then I'm 18 months later and then, you know, my game is finally shipping. Who knows what the tariffs are? And then is it going to come with the topper? Is it not? You know, the Alice's, they just got a big shipment from Dutch. Knapp just posted about it. Cointaker's got it. Yeah, I saw that on Knapp's arcade. You know, but like, do they have toppers? Do they not? Like, if you waited this long for that game and you still don't have the complete package, like, what are we doing? And then if you want to sell your Alice, but you don't have the topper, who's going to buy it? No. You know, that's the next. Because, Donny, you know, European people, Corp, they have upped their game. Seriously. Especially after with all this predator stuff and terror stuff, they sat down, they talked with each other, they made some strategic upgrades for everything. And Pedretti, he's just, when I talk with him, every third word he says is quality. He wants quality. It's a fast board system. It's Williams Flippers. Quality, baby. To their credit, I don't think there's anybody that ordered a Predator that's still waiting for it to come. I think they did make them. I think they completed it. And the quality. Have you heard anything bad about Predator quality? Not the quality of the build. I've heard some issues about the game rules and such, layout issues, but not about game quality as far as the build. Okay, so we had this update from Team Pinball saying that they didn't work with them. Yeah, what happened with that? What do you know? Do you know anything? Well, first of all, Pedretti, they were like, we're not into all this drama. So I don't think they made an official statement, no nothing. What I know is... Yeah, I don't know if I'm allowed to share this. So this was for Big Bang Bar, right? Are there still plans to make it? Do you know? Is that project just dead? I think I can say this from... Okay, personal opinion, that I can share with no issue. I am so happy that Pedretti game, Andrea, he dropped Big Bang Bar. Because if that came out with the coding from Team Pinball, you wouldn't buy it. Okay. All right. Fair enough. Andrea didn't – I mean, this is my – how I feel. I don't think he will have his name on a project like that. He trusts Toten. He's happy with Toten. I mean, he cannot wait. Christopher Franchi is in here nice. Chris, check this one out, baby. Chris better get some Robocop reference images ready because, yeah. God, that would be so fun. That would be so fun. I love Robocop. Oh, wait. Buck is in here. Guys, I'm trying to playtest the next game. Keep it down. Oh, come on on live, man. Let's all see the game test. Yeah, put the glass back in, buddy. Yeah. But did you hear what I said? From unboxing, unboxing Beetlejuice, let it play in a location for three, four weeks, on for like 13 hours a day. Zero issues. It just works. Rock started, man. Heck yeah, baby. I'd buy that for a dollar. Oh, yes. Dude, as you said, Christopher Franchi doing the Predator artwork. No, no, no. Oh, sorry. Robocop artwork and has the Robocop on the back glass homage to the Data East version. Oh, my God. But how much how much can it cost, man? I'm on the 13th. I have a something. I cannot read it. What does he say? Bug is saying that he personally is on for 13 hours a day and he can barely function. Do you think he double tested the one that was RETROCENGO edition? I can guarantee Monica probably played it too. Oh, that's nice. What's up, Ryan Davies? How you doing, buddy? It's joining. It just works. The game is fun. And, you know, one thing I want to say about, I said everything on my review, but one thing that I just love about Beetlejuice is the code. It reminds me of Stern quality of coding. Because if you turn on all the lights, they are lit, they are blinking, they're changing colors, you are in a mode, you can start a multiple in a mode, And in that multiple, you start another multiple, another multiple, and everything is blinking. I turn off the game and I just walk away. I don't like that stuff. When I play Beetlejuice, I start a month, it says, shoot five wide shots. Nothing else is blinking. Only five freaking light shots are lit. So I know what I have to do on ball one. I don't need to read a book. I don't need to go into pin side and say, what do I do? It's so simple. I understand it. That's what I like. Always do it like that. Really. And the call-outs aren't even there yet, so those are coming too. Wait, I went into the menu and I activated. The call-outs were deactivated. Yeah. I activated them. They were there. I haven't seen the movies. For me, the call-outs worked fine. There you go. Really? They worked fine for me. And I'm an audio guy. And this game had, I don't know the movie, but great music, great audio, art. Look at the art. I mean, dude. Dude. What the heck? Everything looks like it's glowing and coming at you. Yes, and under 10K, what the heck? I know you cannot speak openly about this, but when I see what I'm getting for 10K, right, Right. With all that stuff in the game. And I look at the other company's game and I look at the secondary markets. This game sells for $20, 000. I know you guys are not idiots. You either have to pump up your price that I would hate. I hate it, but I understand it, but I hate it. So either check the price up or build more games and keep it on the 10K. I mean, if you 10K, you still don't get fat at Spooky. You know what I mean? Yeah, yeah. So I understand, but still, it's a fine line, man. Don't jump on that, oh, it sells for 20, then we can sell it for 18. Don't do that. I know you guys have been talking, but just build some more because people have been after Spooky. Also here, they're like, why do they only build a thousand games? Because, yeah, I know exactly why. It's not what anybody wants to hear. It's like, you know, they just want to get on to the next game, you know. Yeah. You know, they're not interested in, you know, doubling the size of the company and then finding out in a year or two the markets are changing and then now they have to contract. You know, they're looking at long-term viability to them. It's like, look, if we can release a thousand games a year and make a thousand people happy and their games are maintaining or even increasing in value, they can sell their games every year and buy the next one. And the customers are happy and the rebuyers are happy and the pinball locations are happy with it. Like, they're happy with that, too. You know, why is that a bad thing? Yeah. Yeah, but I think you will build more than a thousand next time. That's just how I feel. Because I would rather have you build 1, 500 games or 1, 200 games and a lot of show games. Show game, baby, just build them. I love show games. I have nothing against it. I mean, that's just how I feel. How about if they don't do direct sales anymore and it's just only show games? You can only buy a game at a show. Just do that. They're like, Don, shut the hell up. It's a bad idea. I don't make decisions. I would rather have more volume than a higher price, man. But I understand if the price goes up. Because I think if you guys put the price up maybe or or something then I think the game will have more stuff in it also It just how I feel But the way you could still keep the prices down is more direct sales like 50 direct sales And you, Donnie, what the heck are you doing? I have no idea. You can see the building from your home, right? Like, why don't you just today register and become a distro, take the games to your place, and sell the games? Can you imagine if I just did – You don't sell the games. Can you imagine if I did, like, pinball yard sales where, like, on Sundays you could drive by and I'll just have the games on the lawn with a price on them, you know, make an offer? On the launch day, right? Look, we're not going to say how much a distro earns. I'm not going to go into all of that. Never, ever, ever. But listen to this, right? Let's say you get 500 games and your margin is only a couple of hundred, let's say $500. You will sell at your midnight lunch, you will sell 200 games easily. Right? Mm-hmm. Probably. Yes. Especially once people get the Chipotle going, once they get the fluid going, once they get liquored up, probably. Here's a question I had, too, because these guys released Scooby-Doo, and the number size was 1969, 1, 969 games. No, wait. Box is riding Scooby-Doo is like 1, 600. As far as how many have sold, yeah. Oh, okay. So what was the plan there? Was the plan to take, like if that game sold out, were they just going to build for two straight years Scooby-Doo? Or were they thinking like, listen, this is a game, we'll sell 800, 1, 000 of them this year, and then it's just a game we can have in our back catalog, and then if people want a spooky game and everything else is sold out, they can get a Scooby-Doo. That might have been the reason. That was exactly it. I saw an interview with the guys. They wanted to have different games in their catalog, So they're going to say, we want to make more Looney Tunes? Here we go, more Looney Tunes. And that's a great idea. With this, you know, we have a great friend of the show, Kaneda, he's a bit angry about the show games. When I got my RETROCENGO edition, he was like, what? And I was like, thank you! So awesome! Thank you guys, thank you, Buck, with the RETROCENGO edition. So cool, I'm loving it, I'm loving it. And I think to Kaneda's point, he probably would have been fine if they would have said, you know what, we're going to make 1, 100 games and 100 of them will be show games, but each game has a number, you know? Because I think there's just this idea of you don't know exactly how many are out there. But listen, all companies are making team games, licensor games that aren't part of the official curriculum or timeline, you know? So I'm sure when Harry Potter was signed, I mean, every producer probably involved in that project probably has a game, too, that's unnumbered. That's it. Yeah, you know, you sign a license with a music group. You know, I'm sure the Foo Fighters each have a game, and those aren't numbered. You know, they're licensor samples or whatever. So, like, this happens in other companies, too. But, yeah, you're doing so much for the pinball community, so much greatness for under 10K. If you make a couple of dollars more, fine. Who cares? Fine. Do it. Dude, is Pedretti here? Hell yeah. Pedretti's here. Oh, Pedretti, did you see the part like 15 minutes ago when I read your message? Please say so. Donnie, he was like, whoa, this sounds awesome. I want to buy a totem. Were you in here, Pedretti? Dude, people are excited for a Totan right now, and I don't know where I can buy one from, how much it is, when I'm going to get it. And it's like, if you tell me that, you'll probably get a deposit. So, like... Get ready. Do you want to tell about the different prices? You're here, buddy. If you want to share. And if I buy the top trim level, but I want the original art, can I get that? Top trim level with original art? Yeah, yeah. Because with the Midnight Edition, that was the better one, the Midnight Edition, right? But some people said, I just don't like the Brian Allen art. I want the original one. So could I buy the Midnight Edition of Totan or the Magic Carpet Flying Package Edition but get the original art? If I want the original art on half the cabinet and the Brian Allen art on the other half, can I do that? But Donnie, you haven't seen the Brian art design yet. Yeah, he's done back classes. He's done back classes. I don't think maybe you will love it. I feel like I've said, well, yeah, but for me, yeah, I'd probably take the Brian Allen package because I like his art. But I know there's people out there that said, you know, I would have bought the Funhaus, but I wanted the original art, but I want the good version. And so now I'm not getting it. Ah, a wish is granted. Hell yes. Hell yes, Padre. Thank you, sir. I just want that option. And I want them on Rad Cows. And I want them on Embossing. So, Pedro told me, now I also read, he was actually not happy with, you know, you can get replacement parts for all these games today, but some of those parts, he was not happy with the quality. So, he remade those extra parts, so he's just upping the quality of this game. I'm so excited. The only thing I want to ask about is it could be I've seen this game, the old TOTEN. I had it in a Chrome version. I had it in Gold version. Pedretti, will it be an option to buy this game in Gold version or Chrome version? Or how is the trim level? Is it gold only? Or it could be cool to get that info here. I'm waiting, Pedretti. It's not cool he's in here. So those kind of things for a manufacturer can be a little more difficult, you know, because it's easier to do a run of like 300 sets of armor. When it comes to armor, though, if I don't like what it comes with, that's easy enough for me to change. But not for everyone, Donnie. Yeah, but, oh, come on. Well, okay, so like if the top trim should come with some kind of either shiny armor, if not chrome, you know, some kind of powder coat, then maybe just like a regular one for the main level. So both trim levels of Toten will have all the same code. They should. That should be a thing. Yeah. You should have one base game that's the same, same animations and everything, and then you just have like a higher trim level that's got fancier armor, you know, fancier back glass, you know, those kind of things. But I don't know. It's their company. I cannot read the last two newest comments. It has a QR code. So, darn it. So you have to read the comments there. So Petretti just gave a happy face and then Wario says both trim levels of Toten will have all the same code? So if you released a standard Toten remake that didn't have new code, was just straight up like the original, I think that would be not very desirable. Yeah. Somebody's, Pedretti Gaming. Will you do Robocop this? Oh! Robocop! Come on! We just talked about it! If you guys want a Robocop game as bad as I do, keep asking for it, because then it'll get made. How about the music in Robocop? Oh! Project Unserve! That's good, man. I just watched Robocop again recently. It holds them all. It holds up. It's so goofy. There's like levels of satire that are built in there. It's like hyper violent. It's just great. Yeah, it's awesome. New Detroit. Yeah. You're at the show. Is it next week the show will be? The show is this weekend. I'm flying out tomorrow. This weekend? Yeah. I got to go to the airport tonight. We got an early flight. Did you ask Pedretti if Totem will be there? No, because everybody's telling me already for a month that it's going to be there. Oh. Okay. Maybe he can confirm it. Yeah. I've had people telling me, like, for weeks, you should go out to Golden State. There's going to be a new remake game there. And I'm like, okay, it's either Theater of Magic or Toten. I don't think Chicago Gaming has anything, so it's going to be the Pedretti game, which is super cool. I've been told a lot of different themes, man. Was it you that called me up one morning and said that, was it Pedretti that had the fifth element? That kind of sounds like something I would do. I don't know. Yeah, wasn't it you? I don't remember. I was like, fifth element? What? Pedretti's the remake people, though. I don't know if they're doing original games. Oh, maybe you asked if it was Pinball Brothers. Ah, yeah. I'm not sure. Oh, on top of Beetlejuice holding up on a location, I just want to add, we have had Predator from Pinball Brothers for a month on a location. Piece of shit, right? Zero issues. Oh, okay. Zero issues. It's a track mode. All of a sudden, you can just hear da-da-da-da-da-da and the chopper begins to do the chopper thing. Oh, that game. Audio, audio. Make Robocop. Audio, man. Dead or alive, you'll come with me. I love it. I would love it, yeah. Murphy. Oh, God. That's a Robocop. Okay, so a lot of cool info about the upcoming Totem game. Do you want to talk about their next game? Who's, Pedretti's next game? Are there any remakes left? Who's doing Twilight Zone? I think, so if Pedretti's not doing it, probably like American Pinball's going to start cranking these out. So get ready for Fishtails. Brian Allen's got artwork for that too. That's a game that I think has not a lot of demand. What? Fishtails? I hope, truly, I hope Fishtails is just a joke. You don't remake a game that costs $3, 000 to buy today. I mean, that's... You just don't do that. I mean, you know, a hyper, perfectly conditioned totem will cost $15, 000. What about remaking Whodunit? What? No! One of them is listed as pending sale $4, 375. Who wants a $12, 000 Whodunit with 2.0 code? Oh, dude, I want to say something. I have a question. Shadow, okay. Shadow would be cool. All right, Pedretti's doing Shadow next. All right. I want to ask you a question. Okay, don't think about no company now, nothing, okay, because, yeah, what if, this is just a what if, okay, don't put something in here. What if one of the companies remade a licensed Battle Williams Games, one of them that's just like 99.9% just, you cannot make it. What if they remade a game? I'm about to send it to the podcast. They had the license to remake this game. But because of the theme not being able to purchase it, if they put another theme, the same game but another theme, another movie, another theme, another something. If somebody took Indiana Jones layout and put something else or whatever else, how would you feel about it? So if you took the layout of Indiana Jones and then you got the license for Tomb Raider and put it in there. Yeah. I don't know, man. Because I was thinking Indiana Jones with 2.0 code. Oh, garbage. That'd be awesome. But like Tomb Raider or Uncharted or something and just drop an Indiana Jones layout? Look, it's just, you know, it's very early stages, but I love the idea. I love it because we have so many cool Billy Williams games and some of those teams are just... What if we took Indiana Jones and put it on the bad cats? Yeah, we are. I mean, yeah. You just pay Harrison Ford. It's just, I mean, yeah. Is there anything you could put on fishtails that would make it worth more than $4, 000? Look what Pedretti is saying. No fishtails from us. Great Pedretti. Do not, I mean, when you remake the game, make sure they cost at least $10, 000. The Shadow, cheap game. Fishtails, cheap game. Name me 10 games, John, 10 Billy Williams games. Uh... Hang on. I'm looking at Fishtails. I want to look at the price. Who wants $11, 500 for a Fishtails? Look, he says maybe Popeye. No way. God, no. I love Popeye as a theme too, and I can't get into that game. It's so goofy. If Indiana Jones got remade, I would buy it. On the top of my list of the remakes that I would buy, really, that's Adam's Family. Wouldn't you buy Adam's Family in an instant? Of course, yeah. With 2.0 code updates? Dude. This guy powder-coated a fishtail and he wants $11, 500 for it. Come on, man. I mean. This is the guy. I don't know if it's the guy, but he took like aquarium accoutrement and like stuck it everywhere. So it looks like a rainforest cafe. What the heck? He took like kelp grass for an aquarium and stuck it over the shooter lane. What are we doing? Do you think those rumors are true with American Pinball making fish jails? Who's the game, Doc? Donnie. Would I be surprised if American Pinball made a foolish decision like that? No, I wouldn't be surprised. Oh, man. I mean, it will tank. It will tank the company if they do something. Also, that football game, World Cup Soccer. It's a cheap game here in Europe. It's a cheap game. Yeah. World Cup Soccer 94. Don't remake that. Okay. Pedretti is saying he has to go. He has a meeting. People from America are calling him. Pedretti, thank you, buddy. Thank you, buddy. Sell a bunch of totems. Give him another air horn. All right. So you can get the arch you want. I like that. Yeah. People, if you just jumped into the show, you have to listen to I read a lot of stuff directed from Pedretti, a lot of news that you will only hear here on the WAP show. Very exciting news. I don't think Pedretti is making Ace of Base. I think that's Pinball Brothers. They want to sell another 20 games. Oh, Ace of Base. Count me in it. $10, 000 for it. I want to listen to Asa FaZe now. That's Daniel's jam, man. You know what I want? I want someone to go through some of these themes from Bally Williams and make modern games out of that theme, like a new Demolition Man, a new Star Trek The Next Generation. Imagine a JJP game, Star Trek The Next Generation, all that footage up there, the missions and a game that holds up better that you don't have to constantly be repairing. I would definitely buy that. You would buy that, Barrel. Yeah, we got the original creator of Whitewater came with Yukon Yeti. That's fun. You know, Terminator 2 now? I mean. Oh, that's my dream. I mean, a brand new diner with a giant LCD screen so there can be like racist Trumps on the screen. I said, Adam's family, I want Terminator 2. Okay. With full Arnold movie in it. Come on. We don't need new call-outs, no nothing. Do you remember at the end of the movie, they get chased by T-1000 and Arnold, Terminator, he gets angry. He jumps on top of that big truck, loads his machine gun and just shoots in at the T-1000 and the truck falls over with all that liquid metal. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, that scene with Arnold when he just jumped on that truck and just, oh my God, having that on the back glass on a moat? Oh, come on, man. Yeah, even that would be expensive. Even his likeness on the cabinet is too expensive, let alone if you want to get the call-outs from the movie. Not even talking about custom call-outs, just using the verbiage from the screen. You can't do it. You sound like a guy that has been looking into those Arnold licenses. I can feel it, buddy. I have a friend who's done exactly that. You have a friend. Yeah. Does he start with L? Do you know why I love Luke? He's such a huge Arnold fellow. Also, Buck, on our show, he said he was an Arnold fellow. Yeah. Luke's got that nice youthful face, though, and you just want to pinch those cheeks. That's why I hang around him so much. Love those. Are you done with your game already? Almost. Cabinet completely done. Everything's completely wired. I just need to take... The problem is they're building games so quickly, I now have to get my game in the testing rack and put the mechanisms and everything in it. And they're so busy during the week, like I don't want to get in there and get in the way. And then they're making two less games a day. So I have to wait until like a day off and me and Bug are going to go in there and finish it out. You know, because I'm slower than the guys they have working there. You know, I need my hand held a little bit. So they're cranking games through so quickly. Like I don't want to displace like somebody else's game for my stupid messing around. Buddy, I have been restoring these games for 25 years. If I was a bit closer, I could have built that game in a day for you. I looked at everything. I just love, first of all, the soft mover in the box. No other company gives a soft like that. And it sounds awesome, right? I love the suck. And then you see further up, you see the fans in there. One of the fans sucks in cold air. The other one turns and pushes out the hot air. So well done. Just circulation in there. Everything is just so awesome in that game. I was just, this is cool. This is cool. I just kept on saying that. And on top of everything, I never read. I mean, if you are like 50, you still read. But our generation, at our age, we don't read, Donnie. So we didn't have a manual or nothing, but there was a little piece of paper, right? And it said, put the game at 6.8 degrees. And I was like, no, seven and a half is better, right? And then something magical that every other company should do just like Spooky Pinball. And I'm loving this. I'm reading. Do not install a power stepper before connecting this game to the outlet. Just give it the power in the country you live in and the switch will automatically switch between 110 or 230. Automatically. Why can't anybody else figure this out? When I see Matt Pinball having a cheap game for sale, I'm like, Matt Pinball had the game spawned $5, 000 or something. And then we talked with him and he said, like, use the WAP code, you can get it for $4, 500. And I was like, I want to buy that game in an instant, but we cannot use it here in Europe. But stepper motor, you're not done. Insider connected blocks everything and this is not the current problem. So stupid. With Spooky Pinball, they just connected it, but it worked. Now we can import, export and everything. It's so cool. Why does other company not do like this? Why do you even need another company? I mean. Donnie, you don't know the struggle in Europe. This is so awesome. When I saw this, when I saw the quality of Beetlejuice, when I see the excitement around Beetlejuice, people plays it, and it just works, Tony. I was like, we need in Denmark, in Scandinavia, after this game, we need to have a spooky corner now. So we're going to do something now. So we're going to get Evil Dead here also. Okay, we're going to get Evil Dead. We already bought the upcoming games. Like, first build, it will be picked up in a plane, I will unbox it. Like, we want all spookies in here. And I hope on the next game you will send some spooky stuff we can have on the walls, something spooky, something spooky. Because we have a very big corner, we're a huge area with a lot of Stern games. And my bro Jay, he's like, he loves JJP. So he has able to JJP like CE and everything. He's just, yeah. So now we want Spooky Corner. And he is, he loves this game also. He loves Beetlejuice. With my voice, when I say Beetlejuice, it just, it doesn't work. Right? I have to say it a couple of times. Beetlejuice. Yeah. Beetlejuice. Come on. Work. My bro, my bro, he sends me a little video, like 10 second video. He's like, Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice. Everything works. Three times. So it's not the game. It's my voice. It's going to learn you like Siri. Yeah. Wario says Tropic Thunder would be an easy 12K game for him. Oh, that's such a cool movie, man. I love that movie. It would have to be done right. Yeah, you can't cut anything out, man. People still want to die hard. They have to cut something out. I wonder how hard the Bruce Willis contractor license is to get the rights for. Yeah, I was thinking Fifth Element? Yeah, Fifth Element, Die Hard. He wasn't in Pulp Fiction. They couldn't get Bruce in Pulp Fiction, so there had to be a reason. And, like, the dude is making all these direct-to-video movies now that are low-quality, just cash-ins, so you'd think it'd be easier. He's not making anything now, Donnie, with his condition. I know, I know. But he was trying to make money for his family, so he was doing these cheap movies where he just gave a couple lines. So you think they be looking to license it so we could celebrate his tenure What would you prefer Die Hard Moonlighting Or the Fifth Element Oh, so, okay, all right. As a pinball machine. As a pinball machine, Die Hard, I can't help but think of Godzilla with a big tower right there in the middle. And then you have a creature fall down. It would take place at night and you would be traveling up layers of the building as you're playing, almost like Kong. Versus a game that's like Fifth Element where it's just full fantasy and you can do so much with it. I think the difference is Chris Tucker. As much as I like Carl Winslow and it'd be awesome to have him in a pinball machine, Chris Tucker just killed that performance. Originally that was written for Prince and so it was flamboyant and stuff. Chris Tucker, it's his role now. It's great. Lots of paradise and all that. I think I would have more fun just trying to figure out what's going on in the world of Fifth Element than just Die Hard. Yeah, I would love Fifth Element. So if the rumors are true, oh my God, count me in. Who's doing Fifth Element? Where's the rumor at now? Because that was with Barrels for a while. And then did something just happen where Pinball Brothers is doing it or something? I mean, that's the last. I actually, I think I wrote to Daniel if it was true. I haven't checked if he got back to me actually. I asked him, you called me crazy hours. Let me just ask him. Because he told me, he told me a long time ago that the upcoming game was, you know, like, you know, if you like Predator, you will like this theme, right? So I was like, heck yeah. That means it's not Ace of Base, unfortunately. I would love to have an Ace of Base. Ace of Base, stop it. It was so cool. You know, when I made those small clips for 14 days before Predators came out, I said, and the upcoming game is Ace of Base. And everybody was like, oh, have you heard? The next game is Ace of Base. Just a joke, buddy. Man, it would track. It would definitely track. I want to say something that I was in shock of. So I recorded the video with the Beetlejuice from Spooky, uploaded the video, like 22 minutes Pinball video on YouTube on my PC. Donnie, it said, do you want to pay to get more views? This is the first time I see this on YouTube. Yeah. So I can pay 1500 Danish crowners. That's $200. YouTube writes, RETROCENGO, when you upload this video, Spooky Pinball Beetlejuice, if you pay $200, we will guarantee you the first seven days, the video will have 6, 000 to 8, 000 views. If you pay $100 more, we will guarantee you you will have at least 150 more subscribers. So you can pay for the – and if you pay, you know, $500, you will have 12, 000 to 16, 000 views in seven days. I'm pretty sure you can do that cheaper online. Just pay for views with either South American views or Indian. Tony, it destroyed everything YouTube for me. Like when I see a video now that's only about seven days and it has got 68, 000 views. They're probably just paying for it. Oh my God. Isn't that lame? Yeah, like if it's an advertisement you're putting out there, that makes sense. But just for like rank and file videos, like pay to get them out there. So either, you know, the YouTube platform will eventually get full of this and people will abandon it and then something new will come up and then we'll all margarite over there. And then that one's going to get shitty after a couple of years and then we'll just go to something else. Yeah, I mean, I think it's so sad, man. But yeah, it is what it is. All right. Well, sweet, man. Yesterday? Yeah. Okay, so with Beetlejuice, I like the music. I like shots and layout. I like that upper left area up there. I like it. I like the game. Does anyone not like the game? I like it. It's a cool game. So let's close that. I think you also like the game. Oh yeah. Rocky 3. I've been playing it for two years now. Someone mentioned Rocky 3 and I was just verifying that that's the one with Clubber Stephen Lang in it. So hell yes. Oh yes, give me Rocky. Hell yes. So yesterday it was a bit late. I was just laying on the sofa, turned on YouTube and I see our dear friend Jack Danger. He's showing the newest code on Walking Dead. Yeah. Right? Cool. I love that game. I want to say something because I wrote there, Jack Danger, do this for me. And he read it. He was like, sure, buddy. I will talk to the corporate. We got Metallica Remake, Remastered. We have the whole game in the pro version. You don't have the hammer. The pro version has everything in it, but they didn't make a pro, so I didn't buy it. We got, what's it called, Walking Dead. Okay. The pro version of what we have, we have the premium and everything, but the pro version, you have the whole game in there. You don't have the crossbow, you don't have the bomber. You know, when you miss, when you have to shoot three different shots, you should press on that button and you get one of the shots. Who cares? You have the whole game there. They didn't make the pro, so I didn't buy it. Stern, dear Stern, I know you're listening. I wrote with Zach Sharp yesterday, please, when you remake these games, make pro versions also. Think about European prices. When the whole game is in there and it costs under 7K, we would buy so many pros. Don and I talked a year ago about Goldfinger version of 007. Do you remember that? I do. They should have the lady on the sides and everything. I love that game. And Goldfinger from 1964 is my favorite Bond movie. Please, for the love of God, make a pro version. I don't want to pay $10, 000, $11, 000, tariff, VAT, $16, 000 for a premium. Just give us the pro, please. Given that it's taken this long, and it's a George Gomez game, I bet that Goldfinger version of James Bond would be a Spike 3 version with expression lights and everything. And so to go through all that, should they release a pro premium LE version of Goldfinger? Or should it just be a limited? They don't make an LE version. Do you remember? Yeah, they don't make an LE. Well, they said they won't reissue LEs again, like when they did Jurassic Park, and it was just like, we put brown powder coat on and new stickers. They were planning on LE like they did with Jurassic Park, right? But, you know, there was some issue with some content creators that got angry and that everything got dropped. And George Gomez said only premium version. So you think Goldfinger should be a pro and a premium? I think all of their remakes, remasters, everything Stern, please spread this out there, should have a pro version. I said this to Jack Danger also. He was like, okay, I will talk to the guys about it. Make a pro version, guys. I don't disagree with you. I think it would sell, yeah. I mean 007. Okay, you don't have Bond on the wand, but everything else? I know, I know. It's such a well-coded, cool, cool game. Make the pro, I will buy it. I know that they won't make Walking Dead now, but if that was a pro, I would have bought it in an instant. I just don't want to pay $16, 000 for a premium. Then I will pay $10, 000 for a pro, and I'm fine. I mean, some games, Iron Maiden. Yeah. Early only. I wouldn't touch anything else. But some games, Pro is fine. You think Iron Maiden LE is that good? Yes. The Pro's got the whole game in it. Have you played the Pro? Yeah. It's so static. I mean, I like the premium version the best out of Iron Maiden. I made you buy the premium version. It was good. I enjoyed the hell out of it. Yeah. My buddy Mark bought it from me after I counter-coded it and tricked it out. Loved it. Yeah, that was a cool game. Have you played the pro version of Iron Maiden? Yeah, and I do miss that diverter on the wire forum on the left because it is fun to go behind the Pharaoh's Crypt there. The little lifty ramp is fun. I agree. But I think that as far as games that are so much better premium than Pro, I don't know that there's a terrible lot of difference with Iron Maiden. Kind of like Deadpool. I got bored on that one. When I play Godzilla, Ellie, or Godzilla Pro, I have so much more fun on the Pro. Seriously. It does. I think they're equally fun for different reasons. Oh, yeah. The Godzilla Pro is fantastic. It has so much more speed in it. So much more speed. You shoot, the ball is back in an instant. You don't wait. Love that aspect of it. And plus, you don't have no issue with the building or the Mechazilla or bridge. No issue. It just works. So remakes, please. I want this to have a, what's it called when you drop something in the water and the wave goes out? Ripples. Ripples out there. Rhyming with nipples. Yeah. Make pro versions from now on, especially 007 Mr. Gomez, dear friend. Especially if you're going to remake a game that's not going for that much money on the secondary market anyway. Dude. I think they would have sold a lot of Walking Dead Remastered Pros. Oh, we got some new info coming in. Transformers. Did they just drop Transformers teaser? Dude. Wait, I gotta hurry to be the first content person to put it out there. All right. Well, that's fine. I just love... You know what? We're so lucky. We're getting so many games. So many games. All access. Nap should have had it already posted. Let's see. Let's see if Nap Arcade's got anything. $13, 000 for Transformers, so the price is the same. All access. Dude, it's already out! Are you going to the media day? Oh, you got that in the email, right? I am, yeah. Media Day is on the 20th. It's coming up. I'm going to do a... Oh, here we go. It's the first place I'm watching it. I like that it has that logo. I haven't got any emails, but I'm not an all-access dude. Oh! They have got the voice! Oh! Nice. Oh, does Stern put anything on their YouTube page? May 20th! They have got the voice! Do they have a release date? So I'm hoping they... Oh my God! I'm hoping we don't have to do NDAs now. That'd be awesome. Donnie, look at this live. We have Team Spooky in here, we have Pedretti in here, and we have the... Stern launching here. How cool is this? Stern hasn't put anything on their Facebook page yet. Okay. I'm sure Retro Ralph will be doing a cool video. Check your mail. You should have the info. Oh, there it is. It just hit. All right. Teaser trailer. So is there a date on it? Yeah, 20th. Oh, really? Okay. Yeah. So we shouldn't have to do NDAs then. May 20th, 2026. Perfect. So probably what was happening is they didn't yet get licensing signed off on the marketing of the game. And so they're like, we're still going to do the 20th, but if we can't officially market it, everybody's going to be under NDA. But it sounds like they probably approved it, so they're like, go, go, go. But usually – All right, Pedretti could have sold us lots of deposits, and they just lost it. The window just closed, man. It was there. We were excited about it. The new code. Hey, buddy. Look what Stern just did. We were ready to drop deposits, but you teased us too much. You should have bought the game an hour ago, Daniel. I know. I would have an hour ago, but now I'm in Transformers mode. Damn it. Oh, my goodness. So close. Usually when we get these media invitations, thank you, Zach, Zach Sharp, they released the game a couple of days before. Sure. So usually, yeah. Or there's been times where there were delays and approvals, and so it did come out a little later. Pokemon was one of those because they had the media day, but then Pokemon wasn't released yet. People got in trouble for breaking their NDAs. So if you're going to sign it with Stern, don't break it. But games before Pokemon, they came out when the media day people wasn't there. It was already out, yeah. It was already out. So maybe, but this is weird that it says on the trailer that it's the 20th. That's fun. Yeah. So cool. It'll be at the Northwest Pinball Show, which also happens like the first week of June in Washington State. Cengiz, why don't you come out to the media day? It'll be fun. Are you going to the Stern Media Day? Absolutely, and I'm bringing a Patreon member with me. I'm going to draw the name today. Is that allowed? Yes, it's allowed. I checked with Zach Sharp. I got approvals. So, yeah. So, I'm going to do a live later today if you're on the Don's Pinball Podcast Patreon and you emailed me saying that you can be there on the 20th, which some people have already done. We're going to randomly draw names. Nice. And maybe they'll show us the Pokemon topper. I wonder what the holdup is with that. They said May, so we're not done with May yet. So, yeah, the topper, we still have some days. I got to go pack up my Pokemon game and ship it right now because it's sold. Yeah. Oh, you got 15, 500? No, no, I got 15 plus free shipping. Congratulations, buddy. Congratulations. You know what? The day you called, the day we got the media invitation to Stern. Yeah. Yeah, yeah. And it came out with the new game. People were like, oh, I want to sell my Pokemon to get money for Transformers. Then you hit me up. I want to sell my Pokemon. And Canada loves Pokemon. And he's like, Donnie, you cannot sell it. It's an awesome game. And then Ozzy on our Patreon, he hits me up. He's like, yep, I want to sell my Pokemon. I'm going to buy Transformers. And for me, it felt like, you know, fire sale. And I saw the prices from 18, 19 down to 15. It was like, sell, sell, sell, buddy. So, yeah, Pokemon's a fun game. I was playing it again last night, and I'm like, I like the clips that are in there. It's super fun. It's just it's going to take a while for the code. So do I keep the game and let it keep going and follow this code and slow walk it down the street? Or do I sell it now to somebody that will be happy to get it, and then I can play whatever else. And then when the code is fully matured, then it can go and pick up a premium or something, and then I can still play the full game. I don't want to be kind of bored of the game by the time the code's finally done and I'm not playing it as much anymore. And so I don't know. Everything's a gamble. You try to gauge how the market's going and then if you get a good price on the game. It's okay. It's your prerogative. Now you have 15K. I'm going to ask you. You don't have to answer. Have you seen anything about Sonic from JJP? Do you want to say anything? Hmm. I don't want to say. Okay, okay. I haven't seen the game. I've seen parts of it. Oh, have you now? But, like, not enough to really be able to say, comment, like, oh, this is going to be great or not. Like, you know, it's very simple things, you know. So you bought new Con Yeti? I did. Yeah. So we have Transformers now. Uh-huh. And we have Toten now. Yeah. And with all the enhancements on Toten. Enhancements. And we've got Transformers. So where does your money go now? It's going to go to a house painter to repaint the interior of the home we just bought. That's where it's going to go. And then it's summertime and we've got trips coming up. I want to come out to Retro Arcaden. I've been hearing about this place forever. So I want to get out to there. I want to go to Poland. I want to go to Shanghai. No, man. When you come to Denmark, who cares about pinball machines? Let's go to Chivoli. Let's have some fun. Chivoli. What do you call like an ice cream cone? It's like kugels of ice cream. Kuleis. Oh, yeah. Kuleis. Cold ice. Kule. K-U-G-L-E. Kuleis. Oh, I thought it was kugels. I was saying kugel. You are from Denmark, man. 200 years ago, you were a Danish guy. How long until I can speak Danish, do you think, if I'm surrounded by it? It's one of the most, the hardest language to learn. I mean, listen, I have watched American movies all my life. Listen to my little book. Oh, man, I talked to Zach Sharp about something that I can't share right now. But if it goes through, it's going to be awesome, man. We should jump off of here and not a Patreon and talk some trash. Oh, Patreon. Yeah. Last month, we got Ozzy Osbourne in there as a new member. Welcome. Welcome, Ozzy. Do you know what Ozzy did? He was like, these guys are too cool to only give a pro level support on. So he jumped up to premium level at 50 bucks. Thank you, Ozzy. Give him another word, man. Come on. Hell yeah, man. We love us some Ozzy over here. Cool guy. I've been talking to him. He's on my list to go to the Stern Pinball Release Media Day as well. So he'll be one of the names in the hats. I love him. I love him, man. So we're going to draw that later today. One thing I just want to end this show with is two guys did – actually, one of the guys that wrote to us, he wrote, Man, where is all that rock music? He really wanted, you know, at the beginning of our show, we were like rock and roll. I know. Yeah. The show got too big. I don't want to say that. The show got noticed. Has a lot of. Yeah. It got noticed. So we're like, we cannot share anything. So it is what it is. Okay. We respect that. Yeah. So I was like, okay, so let's put in some great pinball music. I was like, Swords of Fury music, Black Knight 2000 music, what's the best pinball music in the universe? And I was like, that's TNA, right? Yeah. Yeah, it's just. So I hit up Scott Denisi. I don't know him. I just contacted him like, yo, RETROCENGO here. So I make this show with Donnie. Can we use your music? Because I think it's so awesome. And I respect a no thanks, but if you allow us, we would be thankful. And Donnie didn't know anything about this. I just hit him up. He was back in two minutes. He's like, you're a buddy. That's so cool. Of course you can use my music. I'm like, oh, cool. He makes good stuff, dude. Yeah. He does the intro for my show. Love it. Yeah. So I was. Yeah, yeah, yeah. He did your dance pinball intro. It's so good. I love it. I think it's the best intro in the whole media creation. I really think so. Absolutely. So not even. So he was like, what song do you want? And I was like, you know, the song at the beginning of TNA. And then he did his magic and gave us full access on YouTube. I should send him, you know, my YouTube info, my name and everything. He registered us, Donnie, so we could use his whole catalog and just pump it, man. What a guy. Scott and EC, thank you, buddy. I mean, we're so thankful. This is so freaking awesome. Please make another game. From now on, it's... All right, dude, we'll go out on that. Hell yeah. Yeah, yeah. Thank you, Scott. Thank you. So, Donnie, what a great show, man. I like this. I like this live format. It's fun, right? Yeah, it does. This is cool. Yeah, I got the audio. We'll put this up on WAP. So if people want to listen to this audio podcast, they can. They can also watch this visually and make fun of my beard whitening at lightning speed. And we are both wearing French design shirts on. And thank you, Christopher Franchi. Love your artwork. Absolutely legendary guy in the industry, man. So we're just getting spoiled. We're so lucky, Donnie. We're so lucky with all this positivity and give, give, give. It's so cool. So, yeah. And thank you to Pedretti for sharing all those news with us. Yeah. Thanks for popping in. This is great. Yeah, man. Thanks to Buck. Where's Luke at? Is he out hunting? He's hunting a cure for his virus he's got. So, yeah. He'll be back. Does he have the Hencherox virus or what's it called? I don't know where he was. He was somewhere exotic in the world and he brought it back with him. No, but he's doing easy. He's doing fine. Yeah. We'll get him on. God bless him. Awesome. Be like Ozzy and go over to patreon.com backslash we are pinball. Join up. Kick some duckles in our bucket. Duckles? Yeah. Kuchles. Kuli ice? Kuli. Right? Coolies. Waffleies. What's that? Waffleies? Is is ice and waffle is waffle. Yeah. Waffleies. I want some Waffleies. And then the young blonde girl will say, all right, how many balls? How many cooler? Then you say, three cooler. And then she says, okay. And then she pour marmalade and topping and nuts and cream and flødboller. Do you know what flødboller is? No, but I've eaten it and it's delicious. Dude, I got an ice cream cone from Tivoli and it was full of like all kinds of crazy shit. It was bigger than my head and I loved it. It's got to be good, man. Oh, man. Yeah. Forget Cold Stone. All right. We are pinball69 at gmail.com to email us. I'm going to get this show up. Jengiz, we'll chat here live after the live in just a bit. Let me know. Also, Ozzy, thank you for joining the Patreon. Love you, buddy. Anthony Marua, thank you for the high-level support. We love you, buddy. And Josh Cox, thank you for the... Is it $150 he gives us every month? Thank you, guys. Thank you. He's funding my retirement. Let's end this awesome show with some Scott Tenesi, okay? All right, let's go. Spooky Pinball.
