## Transcript

But this is ultimately a tiebreaker between Mike Diamondus and Steve Mashado. Shane obstacle first probably understanding that Okay, this is the spring spectacular at Maple Pinball. This is the semifinals. This is one of the biggest tournaments in Canada, probably second biggest next to Yagpin. So basically, Jack Tadman has advanced to the finals. Shane is mathematically out at this point and it is between myself and Steve Mashado to see who gets to the final four here. So, I'll be up next. I chose to go ahead of Steve because I felt that there would be a little less pressure and less nerves that way. Although, when I was playing didn't feel very stressless. Uh, when you're player four, then you can feel a little bit more pressure because you know the score you have to beat. Uh when you don't know the score, you can just play your best pinball and whatever happens happens. So I will um cut over to me on my game of uh Jungle Queen here and see how I do. I'm watching this uh for the first time live with y'all. So, going to see uh how I did what I did right, what I did wrong, and um just kind of walk you all through the action as it happens. So, I'll fast forward over to uh the end of Shane's ball and the start of mine. Oh, and I should also mention that uh already advancing to the finals was Carter Castleman and Phil Burnbomb. So, we've got basically in the finals we're going to have Jack who's number two I believe in Canada Carter who's number maybe four in Canada and Phil Burnbomb who's number five in Canada. So that's what we are up against here. Mike says, "I'm pretty sure I picked player two." Mike steps up. Julie says, "Kick up, Mike." Dead bounce. Very patient who will be advancing alongside Jack into the finals. 5,000 points. Ali has a question. It looks like it he was able to do it. Sometimes he kind of clips the the post on the um where those elephant plastics are. It looks like it's kind of tucked. Those uh where the drop targets are. Those are elephants. Oh yeah. Score cam rebooting. Ball's kind of going everywhere. Picking up some targets up some bonus. This not a tilt ends game situation. So there are plenty of opportunities. Haley Natali walks over. Mike 30,000 going into ball three. Apologize for the camera issues. We appreciate you checking us out. Stream has been a bit of a learning curve, but we're making it work. Ps up some bonus. Only one bonus value despite getting both targets in the same shot. Traps. I was telling Mike before, man, those Matt's drop catches were just unreal. More bonus for Mike popping in on the inlanes. Hoping for that B. Doesn't work out for him though. Bitty flipper. Mike trapped up on the right. Bonus targets. See lane more bonus. This is looking good for Shane. 10,000 in bonus right now. One target left. The light is extra ball. I think are they on? I think they are. almost has everything collected that he possibly could, just missing his double bonus being lit. I don't think he wants to shoot for that though. He would rather have the extra ball opportunity. Slips by as he gets to 64,9 Doesn't quite get the B. Doesn't quite get the 5,000 either. That looks like a bit of a scary feed. Makes it work. Trapped up on the left. targets. More targets just one left on each side. Getting one of them. Ooh. Picks up that C lane. He just needs that B. He's not going to get that without saying it up there. Watches it go down the middle. Passes Shane and effectively eliminates him from the tournament. Still a great showing for him nonetheless. ball five for Mike finds an out lane 931 130 I don't think he was too thrilled about ball Five. Adam is right. Ball five is double bonus. And I managed to not hit a single drop target. So I was definitely not happy with that. I was pretty happy up until then. That was he could have taken advantage of that double bonus. Wasn't able to. But we're going to have a bit of a break before Steve shows up. That break being Jack. Jack already advanced. Since Jack already advanced to the final four, I'll skip over to uh Steve Mashadow's turn at the game. I couldn't stand to watch. I was too nervy. So, I was like not sure who the top down a couple rows over playing some Batman 66. Uh awaiting my fate. Sucks. I didn't do anything. You [] anyway. Look at this [] edge pressure. I got to play with it for the camera. I got I got I got to move for the camera. I got to take this. Shane says, "Listen, you can be up on the banner." Steve steps up. All right, we'll be watching this game together for the first time. I, like I said, didn't watch any of it. So, let's see what actually happened to Steve. All right, Steve is up. Steve needs to beat Mike Diamondus. That's the tweet. Mike have put up 93,000. Steve finds the B lane pretty early on. Base slap save C lane. Shadow tilt in the building. picking up some bonus targets. Getting that AE would be great for him. I don't know how he feels about Chaty on this cape. Insert probably saved him there. Just realizing I can't see the chat. 5,000 points. He's creeping closer to Mike. This is the flipper button. A very late shot. Got to compose. Bad shots, he says. Don't worry about that. This is never my bad cats, bad chats. Steve, even with his back up against the wall going for those crazy flips, he wouldn't have it any other way. He's going to compose 27950. He needs to get 94,000. Looking for that B lane. That's the only place he's going to find it on this playfield. Dead bounce. Maybe he was trying to take a page out of Jack's book. Upper flipper doesn't come in the dirty. 38060. Don't get impatient now. Steve slaps eight pops for a mini flipper nudges to keep it in. Fantastic stuff is locked in now. Pop up doesn't turn. 5280. Ball four B lane. ANC for his double bonus. Gets his A1. Rough flip. 55 90. All five. Double bonus guaranteed. Waves goodbye. Hate to see that. You flip a little too late. It catches the other flipper and drains a rough rough jungle queen. Steve and Shane eliminated from the tournament. Jack and Mike Diamond's pinball shenanigans will be advancing into the finals alongside Carter and Phil Bbomb. Where are they playing? Who's deciding where they're playing? I have no idea, but we'll find out. Wow, that was quite the crazy ball five there. Flipped into the upper flipper. My double bonus roll off the flipper. Yeah, I just didn't flip at all. I went in too late and it just right down. Oh, this is You have to flip. You have to flip button right here. Press button. This is where Steve explained to me ball. I think it was two where he missed the on the-fly shots and it just rolled off the flipper. So quite a game full of drama there, but yours truly advances to the final fours. Pretty rare for me to say. I don't get to final fours too often. So this was my big opportunity. Although I was just happy to be there to do the dance. So it was all just gravy from here. And same letters in the name. man. Okay, I'm not sure who was driving the bus here, if it was Jack or Carter, but the games we're going to be playing are Blackout, which I don't think I've ever played before really, definitely not in a tournament, Fishtails, which is actually my old copy of Fish Tales, and it plays wonderful. And then Taxi, which also plays like butter. And during qualifying, the tilt was uh kind of non-existent and uh I took advantage of that and I was the number one score on taxi with 7.2 million. On Blackout, I just checked match play and my top score on it was about 458,000 and I probably played it a good 10 or 12 times. So, let's see if I beat that score or not on this game. The top score for the weekend on this game was held by Lance Lum with 1.3 million. All right, everyone. Here we are. Finals of the main herb format. Jack Tadman, Mike Diamondus, Phil Burnbomb, Carter Castleman. Who will win? Going to kick the calms down a little bit. I'm pretty close to Blackout. Jack, the new high seat of the tournament decides Blackout Fishtails Taxi is where their fate will lie. Blackout, a very bonus heavy game. I've come to learn some of the features not really worth it. I mean, they're worth it in terms of picking up points, picking up some progress toward Blackout, but bonus multiplier is kind of what you want to rack up first. Getting it to four times. If you get it to five times before your final ball, it will reset. So, you want to keep it on four times before your third ball. Let's see what players do. Appreciate you checking us out. Maple pit in Missaga running the spring spectacular event with Jeff Tiololis TD of the stars putting on a great weekend tournament once again here at Maple Ball with a two times bonus. Shane did fill him in on the card with the bonus in this game. Phil told him I'd rather get the five times cuz I'll just send it up there again on my next call anyway. We'll see if he holds true to that. More bonus advance power inlanes for Phil. Taps it over in lane again trying to pick up some features. more bonus. Sitting at 12 right now, it looks like not sure if the 20 will hold. That would be something nice if it did. Tough feed there for Phil. 141 160 after Paul one and a two times multiplier steps up. Our reigning Ontario provincial champion What's he got? Mines it back up there on a pit wham. He would tell you otherwise. Doesn't quite get through the spinner. Keeps it alive. More bonus advance on his in lane. Trying to trap up All these speeds getting close to the tip of the slipper spinner. That's going to be two times more harder. Got to hold over. Find the spinner again. He's going to need more rain lanes for that for his three times multiplier. Spinner. Not quite. Another spinner. There it is. Doesn't quite get there. Looking for another spinner. Surely wants to get that four times multiplier. Wait. Lots of inlanes giving bonus advance. Kind of want to just prioritize that bonus multiply right now. Looks like he's close to his 20. Game sounds like it's about to explode. There's his 20. We'll see if that stays lit. Going into his next ball. Yes. Looks like he knows about the bonus. He's going to keep that up four times till five. He's not going to run the risk. Fantastic call for Parker. 315 for Carter. Starting out strong on this bank. Only ball one though. Jack steps up. He's thinking, what do I want to do here? Starting with an almost clean slate. Didn't work. Pops taking over a little bit. Slings. traps up. Finds a spinner shot. I don't know if that's going to score anything. Didn't hear anything anyway. Keep an eye on it next time. Oh my god. Faster, man. Slings take over. Hard to keep up. Mike picks up a two times multiplier. Traps up spinner. Mike picks up the three times multiplier. Saving that trick in his back pocket. messes up his lance a little bit, but that's okay. Gets another chance four times. Where's he going? Green targets. Little bit of baby clip. Still alive, but he took over. Very nice bonus for Mike. 213 on the board. Phil walks up. 141 160 going into ball two. Bit of a weak plunge, but it finds its way there. That's going to be three times multiplier for Bill. More bonus on his in lane. Red lanes. I might have seen H. Carter walks up four times multiplier. No 20 lane. He did have that lid on his previous ball. So, he's going to have to work for that one again. Not going to run the risk by getting a second in lane because he wants to hold on to that bonus multiplier going into his final ball. Slap save balance traps. Is he going to finish his greens? Looking for the orbiting in lane by accident surely or bonus getting progress towards blackout. picking up a lot of bonus, too. Over to those left flippers. Stay safe, chat. And I was just thinking that. I wonder if that's, you know, you kind of just want bonus at this point, right? Max out four times. Who will win the spring spectacular? Could it be Carter? Ontario champion. He's making a good case for it right now. Sling traps up. But spinner looks like anyway. Black outlet misses. Game sounds like it's going to explode. Someone called the fire department or Evan at least has a fire blanket. That's spinner definitely. I'm not confident I put that on the right. Trapped up. Trapped up on the left. Okay, I am I am wrong about that one. Shows us that spinner is working or bonus for harder. It's looking really good right now. I might roll it first. Maybe. Fantastic ball for Carter. 656. Jack steps up. Smile on his face. Having a good time, Thanks, Mike. Why is he pointing the four times to reset after balls? Yes, that's exactly it. If you get to your five times, it'll reset after you lose your ball. Uh unless you hold on to that four times. So, they're holding on to the four times until ball three, in which case they'll get there five times. I actually didn't know that coming into this weekend. Shane told me that one. keeps names interesting. Mike Diamond is Pinball Shenanigans sent out a message. Check me out. I'm in the finals. Now, he worked hard to get here to this finals, too. Beat out a lot of good players quarterfinals to the semis. Not sure what that was. trying to make a comeback. Five times bonus up and down the inlanes. Give him a lot of bonus trying to catch pauses. Oh, dodges to keep himself safe. Not worth the risk. We're inlanes. He's already maxed out his bonus though. Let's bonus multiplier. Excuse me. What's going now? Spinner. I saw from Carter's gold. That spinner. It's pretty juiced. Maybe not that one. The other one looked all right. Pops are taking over a little bit. Reacts. Almost at 20k. Four. Multiplier. Sitting at 100K. Reverse spinner. Oops. Sling out. That's going to put him at 400 something. 473. Well, my previous high score on that game was 458 for the weekend, so can't complain there. Phillips get a stretch. getting composed. Sitting at a three times multiplier right now. Traps up. Need set up that bonus multiplier quicks. That was a close one from our angle, but I think he was right about it. Skis it over. tries to get it back up top for a five times bonus. A little bit wide. That's the thing about that shot there on the right. Most spinners will get you up there in the middle of the post. You got to be confident on which one you're aiming for. Finds the in lane. Blackout ready. It's not that many points though. I think it's five times would be worth more if he's able to pick it up. poses doesn't quite get the ball on the orbit. Probably so we can get multiple This is for good reason, too. Not a great spinner lane, pullovers, whatever they're called now. Uhoh. That was a fantastic yet terrifying match. Bonus fulfilled. 20k. He's got 100k bonus now. Oh yeah. Come on. Catch 380. Phil drains now. He will pass Mike. He cannot cannot. He wants to pass Curry. This is my spinner. That's all right. More bonus in his pocket. Slings trail a little bit. Fantastic ball, but not enough for Carter. I think that looks like it's going to be Carter, then Phil, then Mike, then Jack going into Fishes. Carter just won his five times bonus. picks it up. Nicely done. I already got it. Get it again. Carter takes the ring. Says I'm not doing this. Okay, so that was my highest score for the entire weekend on Blackout and managed a third there. Can't really complain. I'm happy to not take a zero. So, for Fishtails, the highest score for the weekend was held by Carter with almost a billion points. My best score on this game was just about 220 million. So, let's see how Fish Tales pans out. They played the old game of this bank, Blackout, and now they're playing the modern fish tales. Axi falls as their mid. Who's going multiballs? Who's going fishing? Who's going video mode? I'm going video mode. Carter with four points going into this fantastic start. Carter's wearing that sweater at nationals as well. I think he was. Maybe he's uh maybe he thinks it's a lucky sweater. Two locks on the board. Tips it over a bit in lane. Lightning flippers don't do it for him. Just a little too short show up. Good luck, Charm. Could be. He was telling me he was playing Pokemon Moon at uh at the Ontario Provincials. He found a shiny Pokemon and he ended up winning that. He's having a lucky day. fills up trying to get that lock shot. A little bit awkward on this one. I was talking to somebody about lightning flippers on this game and they were saying they've only ever seen a fishtails with lightning flippers on it. Definitely makes it a bit tougher. Getting progress towards the monster fish. So close. He's got one more. There it is. Monster fish in the left orbit. Nails it. No, actually fall short of Oh, no. I lied. This game with regular focus is too easy. Interesting. It probably is. I believe you. It's almost like uh Shane had a Doctor Who here for quite a while. And I never saw that game without lightning flippers. Another monster fish for 30 mil. Looks it up off the rip. He's flying through these fish. 4 mil on the saucer. I'm usually happy with a 4 mil on the saucer. Making progress towards another monster fish. I wonder if he's thinking Carter having locked balls will make the feed a little bit awkward when he locks his own balls. 40 mil with a safe shot on the orbit just get there though. There it is. 318 for that one. Looks up a replay before Mike and Jack have even got to play. Although we heard some similar situations for Jack Hatman on the last semi-finals trapped on the left for monster fish number four. Oh, they're stock on fishtails and our food. Interesting. Definitely makes all the difference. We had them on some of the moderns here for a little bit. Monster fish number four doesn't quite get the orbit. Carter going first. Yeah, he went he uh he came first on last. Okay. Anyway, monster fish 4 kind of getting away from him a little bit. Can he get there? Not quite. That was an awkward feed. Traps up. Does he need to get back up there to catch him? Looks like Orbit lit. He's going to find it. Gets it. 49 mil. Not 50. 49. Dracula as well. Our Dracula has lightning focus on it, too. That game's tough. Coming up on 200 mil. He's going for it again. Light video mode on Captain Ball. Picking up a lot of points here. I really wonder if that's why he's opting for this. He doesn't want to have to worry about the locks. Probably knows something that I don't. Video mode's ready. Sling out lane after a fantastic ball. Jack flaps one up. Duncan claps more. Says, "Thank you. Thank you very much." Mike walks up, fires it. Fast catch into the lock, says, "You see something?" Here it comes. I can understand Phil not wanting to have to deal with that feed. Holy, that was fast. He's looking to pick up some monster fish as well. Mike Diamond Mike Diamondus pit shenanigans. Fishfinder lit. He doesn't want that. He might go for a hold bonus though. Back hand lock shot. He's going to take that. Deep breath for my diamonds. Awkward feed. Doesn't quite get there. Auto cast. A ball save. For what reason? I thought his ball save was long gone. Jack says it's because it came out of the reel. Is that what happened? Okay. Jack explained how the game works. Ball safe flickered as the ball came out as he locked it. False alarm. I was definitely as confused as he was, but appreciate Jack sharing some insight there. Multiball ready when he gets it in there. If he wants to get it in there, looks like he's opting for monster fish, too. Playfield again. Transmitter resetting. It'll be back. I'm watching the screen. Monster fish ready. Picks it up with 196. Apologies about the transmitter. It is rebooting. You can see it from here. 37 mil from Mike Diamondus and a very late ball save. A lock multiball. He will. We appreciate him waiting for the playfield cam to come back before starting his mult. It's very kind and generous of him. Let's see what he can pick up with it. Ball save still lit on that auto cast. Traps up. Multiball can be absolutely humongous on this game. Ball control, especially in the finals, is going to be very important. Lock shot. An orbit or the lock shot for a jackpot. Losing control a little bit. Scrambling trying to get that orbit or that long shot. Whatever he can pick up gets the orbit. Jackpot 22 mil. I think it's three. Oh, all jackpots advance tackle box. Super jackpot. Still in multiball. Looking for that long shot again. That was a close one. Chopped on the right. Full bonus. Tips it over. Lock shot. Orbit. Ball's going to eject out. He's got to be ready for that one. I didn't think the work the game worked like that. That's okay. English. There's a reason why I'm sitting behind the desk and I'm not in finals. There's the ball. Still a good multiball nonetheless. picks up one of his jackpots. Couple more will get him to a super jackpot. There's 100 mil being lit on the captain ball. He's not there yet. Got a couple more balls to do it. Drinking some water in the booth. Stay hydrated. Shoot this. Shoot the orbit for the monster fish. Mike. Okay. doesn't quite get there. Big save. Backhands it. I guess that is possible, isn't it? Don't see that too often though. Ooh, a double danger. Might have needed to do that. He's looking close. Dropped on the left. Very nice. Deep breaths. What's the plan? showing off the grand champion, Jack Tadman, player four. Pretty sure he did that today. Okay, progress towards this next monster. Fish needs to catch up to Phil who had a fantastic ball one. Oh boy. Who is going to win? Still in anybody's game. Watching fish doesn't quite get there. Doesn't find that orbit again. Nice trap. rejects again. Can he find it? Not quite. Mopar, where is it? Where's that monster fish? Appreciate the follow. Oh my god. Playfield cam transmitter rebooting again. Apologies. It is rebooting. It'll come back. It can't handle the action. 105. He passes the 100 mil mark. There it is. Can't quite get up there. Tries to try again. Lock shot rejects. Dances around the out lane. doesn't quite get there. Fantastic start for Mike Diamond. Jack Tabin steps up. It's a decent enough ball for me, but missing two monster fish in a jackpot was pretty painful. Tricky situation. Was hoping for a few more points, any points on Blackout. Looks like he wanted to rip the block. Makes it work with a very nice nudge. Looks like he's opting for the multiball strat, not the monster fish. Camera passed out from excitement. I believe it. Log number two for Jack. That's really bad. Oh my good. Rejects him. Man, I can't even make that shot regularly. And he just made it. Got rejected. Made it again. Multiball number one for Jack. I say number one because I've seen players on this particular Fishtails as well just backto backto back multiballs as they need. Shane getting excited in the background for good reason, too. So, you're about to see something special here. Wants that lock shot for another jackpot. Trapped on the right. That's a good quite get there though. It's okay. He's got to stay composed. Not sure how you actually light your lock. Do you need to catch a monster fish? No, you need to get the drop target. Obviously, I haven't made it far enough in the game. Get that monster fish, Jack. He's trying. Or maybe he's not. He just wants his locks. Trapped on the left. Oh, no. A little bit late. Trapped on the right. Close pass. Lock shot. Stays composed. Doesn't quite get there for the fast cast. Lock Shaneless over again. Multiball number two for Jack Tadman. Multiball two. He's picked up one jackpot. Losing control of the balls a little bit. He's going to have to slow this down somehow. Looking for the lock shot so he can light his jackpot. Trapped on the left. He's trying. Jackpot lit. Time runs out for his jackpot. That's all right. He's still in multiball. Jackpot gets away from him. No. Trapped on the right. Back hands are locked. He's going to get a clean shot on the jackpot. There it is. Seems like he might even have a better chance of doing this with two balls of play versus three. Block shot again. Little bit late. Getting backhanded again. Not quite. Big reactions though. Getting active. trapped on the left. Jackpot lit left orbit doesn't quite get there. He's going to stay lit for a little bit. Nope. Damn. Yep. Get out of there. Trapped on the left. Lock shot cuz he's got rock the boat lid on. It's got the ball too. I wonder if he's ever even considered that. The jackpots are just worth so much though. Back hands and lock shot. He's coming up on multiball number three. If we get in the lock shot one more time, we have a multiball counter in chat. Doesn't quite get there. Oh, no. Damn. Slings are taking over. He's getting active. Lock shot. Multiball number three. Multiball number three for Jack Tadman. He needs to get in that lock shot. Needs to get in there. Pronto. Autocast still flashing. Still has some time. Doesn't quite get there though. Shoots the lock just as time expires to get a lock going into ball number or multiball number four, excuse me. You think he's been playing four balls? He's just got that game locked in. Trying to stay active. Fumbles it a bit. He put in a lot of effort there. Holds his 14 mil bonus. Sure he's not hyped about that. 90 fill for Jack. Put in a lot of work and a lot more work to do. Still Carter steps up. Okay. says, "All right, traps lock. Multiball number one for Carter. Let's see how he's able to handle his multiball. Our reigning Ontario provincial champion. A little bit late on the lock. There it is. Looking for an orbit now. Needs his left orb for jackpot. Not quite. Can he backhand it? Saw Mike do it before. Tries to get in his lock shot. Runs out of time. Jackpot lit for 12 seconds. Those are the slowest seconds ever. Doesn't quite make it. What? Still not quite. There it is. Jackpot gets there. Just in time. Chaps. A little bit late. Another try. Oh, misses again. Needs that lock. again. Carter, you're freaking me out. Going to have to start working towards multiball number two now. Oh my god, that ball shot. A little bit scary. Looked like he might have been going for it. Nice. No, he's going for the boat. Your turn. man. It really is just the two big strats on this game are just multiball or off of the monster fish. Phil opted for the monster fish seemed a little bit more consistent, more reliable, but I think the potential for the multiball is just insane. Comes another lock off a whim. That was a close one. Not quite there for the lock. Left in lane. Lock shot. Multiball number two for Carter. He's got a lot of work to do. 47 mil. Shane giving us some rule insight saying if you get it in the both two balls in the lock shot, you can light for a double jackpot. Most people don't even opt for it because it's not really that worth it. Jackpot ready. Just need to find that orbit. Oh, not quite. It's hopping. I can't hit that shot, man. He says I can't hit the shot. I know he can. Timer expires. He's going to get it. Denies him. There it is. Another shot. No, not quite in lane. Oh my god, that's jackpot. Is that jackpot number two? Allie, are you keeping track? Allie's not keep track. She's playing with her hair. Allie serious business, bro. Another jackpot for Carter. getting closer to that super over to his almost looked like he tried to ski it and it went up and over increases his captain ball. That's interesting. Old bonus is first one. Second one is video mode. Third one rock the boat. Looks like light special is the second one flying through right now because that last one the coveted instant multiball. That is a nice tool to pick up. Can't quite get there though. Nice bounce. There's 10 mil and rock the boat. This is but a fantastic ball. Setting himself up for ball number three. Four points already for Blackout. It's looking pretty good. Looks like Phil's starting to offer his locks. A bit of a miss there. Carter just started rock the boat. Yeah, he wasn't really going for that captain ball until he had his instant multiball lit. Seems to be the name of the game though, especially for these three of these four players. Phil was happy with his monster fish Mike starts multiball. Ally walking over to get me a coffee. Loses the ball at the left side. That's all right. still got your multiple going. Thank you so much for the coffee. I've just mentioned it to everybody in chat how appreciative I am. Oo, a danger trying to keep that ball alive for good reason. Ouch. I missed another monster fish and didn't get a single jackpot. 148 video mode lit for Jack. I don't know if he's thinking about that, but it could be some big points, some fast points. deep breath to get composed. If he can find that left orbit, he can do his video mode. Fast cast for Jack. Probably not on his list of things to do with that video mode. He wants a super jackpot. Surely multiball. This is multiball number four, right? You can keep track. Allie says, "Man, I don't know anymore." Your biscuit. Sure. Thanks. Show us Popeye's. Jackpot. Unable to get there. Still need multiball though. Need to find out. Please don't. Multiball number five. I can't say I blame him. We need some points. Video mode is lit. Loft shot. A little bit late. Ops for the video mode. Can I have one of your uh dips over there? Thanks. There's a second one. 100 mil each time. He's the ultimate fisher. Super jackpot three. I had a high score on this before the weekend started with 192. Surely that's fine. trying to scramble to get one more super jackpot. Did he get it in time though? I don't think he did. That's about flashing all of his values now. Lucky he didn't tilt out that 20 mil. Love his tails. Figs itself. Another video mode for Carter. Not sure if you guys were here for his uh his Jaws video, bro. We're not going to talk about that. BS. Spam that BS. Insane. Supers. Carter might be the goat. Had a fantastic showing at the Canadian Nationals as well. Fantastic game for Carter Castman trying to stretch his lead a little bit more. 782 on the board. He put in the work for those multiballs and it paid off before he walked away from the machine. Up a whole bunch of supers. This is my turn. I kept you guys feeling like you were safe and now I'm going for multi balls too. Surely not cast. No ball safe. Third ball. Still a great great first ball catching almost all of his monster fish. 226 on the board. Get your multi going. Have your captive ball ready for multiball. Get that 200 mil. You just have to. That's the only way you can come back to Carter. And he's already got four points going into this. Somebody has to win on this fishtails and have a chance in taxi. Mike traps up looking for captain ball progress. Finds a lock multiball for Mike Diamond. Pinball shenanigans. He did start that ball to 170, didn't he? That's insane. We'll see him next Friday on the stream. My diamonds on the other hand looking to start another multi bowl and try to unlock it like fill the very least not quite enough though if you can get that video mode flash ball a little bit crazy horizontal on Slap save one lip right now. He's got the ball. Could be enough to catch up to Phil, man. All the way from the top of the ropes. Finds the middle of his flippers. Another multiball there with no jackpots and video mode was lurking. So, it was a pretty disappointing ball. finished with 171 which is h okay. Rock the boat land. He cut off for that and just wipe for second place but not being able to pick up any points for an awkward situation. Deep breath closes. They're all great scorers. Can they have taxi in place? Light special lit feed to got Mike. The same feed. Man, looking back at all the missed opportunities there with me and Jack being so close and score too. Opportunity was definitely there, but I didn't cash it in. So, I take a zero on Fishtails. So, moving on to taxi. And like I said, I ended up with the top score on taxi. So, I'm very comfortable with it. 7.2 million, but that was with no tilt bob for this match. The tilt bob was reinstalled. So, uh just can't quite get away with uh as much as you could before. But if I recall, it didn't stop me from trying to make the same moves and tilting off a ball or two. We'll see. Taxi the game it's been here at Maple Pitball since uh 2018 since they opened. As long as I've been coming around anyway. This taxi's always been here. He's going for locks off rip. Can't say of lab bounces around though. Double danger. So you can see by the math scoring being 8411 that I can't win. And not sure if they have the order. I guess there's some math available where I could have potentially pulled off a second if Carter got last and I got first and Phil got third. That would have been a tie. But uh pretty much relegated to uh third or fourth place at this point and Carter is pretty much guaranteed the win. I think we're just waiting for Mike D's pit ball shenanigans. Here he is. Surely he was just letting the tilt set. That can be a scary feed on this taxi too. Right to lock. Left ramp to eject. Looking to find where that 100k is. That looked like it was too fast, but actually it wasn't enough. Ups his jackpot value with his cab lanes. Release. Going to have to get his express shots. There's the one on the right. Gorby says, "I'll take the next one. Still got his multiple going. Going for Corby to get close to his his real jackpot value. Does he get there though? Pick up an airport ramp. No, he's going to stay composed. He's going to wait. There's even a world where Mike picks up second here. They're all fighting to take down Carter at this point. Trapped on the right. Post pass picking up. A passenger will relay it is locked. Corby just does not want to get into his taxi cab. Why not? Mike's a nice guy. Messes up his rollover lanes a little bit. Drop catch. Double danger. Great start for Mike. Phil steps up, gets his block. Find the plunge. I'm quite ups it in multiball. Express lead. Not quite. Little bit early. Mystery score. Not one of the worst things you can get there. Dracula. does it in the multiball though, so it doesn't relight his lock. Dracula denies these passengers, man. Nobody wants to get in the cab. He's going to let that other ball settle. Big attempt at a slap safe, but not enough. He's going to hold it. Still thinks he's thought he was flying. The chop didn't settle enough. Trapped on the right. He's going to have to find somebody else to pick up. But unfortunately for him is Oh no, Gory's late as well. get up the ramp. Finds a lock. Okay, he's back. Deep breath and get some composure. picking up somebody to get closer to his jackpot value. Raises it by spelling cab. Close pass release. No, not quite. Another shot though. Gets it. All right. Looks like he might want to pick up some passengers. Trying to get Santa Claus. 1.5 mil jackpot on this tournament round. Nice job for Jack. Good idea to offer passengers on his multi bowl rather than his express lanes. Instant double danger. There's express lane number two now. He's optimizing his mental. This guy's nuts. Right. Ram loes multiball. That's fine. Looking for Santa Claus again. 10,000. Not the worst thing he could have gotten from that joy ride. Traps up. Lock is lit again. Looked like that was closer to uh Pitbot than it was to log. Finds the lock though. Still only ball one. And this game taxi has been all over the place. keeps it safe. Right ramp. No, just post pass to release. He's going to want to pick up some of his other passengers now. Express lane. No. Goes where his express lanes. Close pass. makes it even with a tilt pop. He's blowing it up. I've heard the tails. He's got Pitbot. He's got Santa Claus, H Dracula, Marilyn, and Corby. steals Jack's lock. Here we go. Carter doesn't get last. He wins. Trying to find that expense lane. Not quite. Oh my god. That's a right outlet again. Mike Tyrus, I believe. Pitball shenanigans. Mike Dyus. Tips hat. Scary feed. Stays composed. Trapped on the left. He's going to need to pick someone up before his multiple Headbot Corby waiting. Picks him up. Lock is ready now on the right. If you're ever wondering why is my lock lit, you got to pick somebody up first. Nice trap move there for Mike. Post pass. Whoa. Does Robert Blakeman get the log? There it is. Another two times plunge. Get the 200k. Doesn't quite get up that ramp. He lives. Traps express lane. Skis it over. Does Quo. There it is. Doesn't force it. Express lanes ups our airport value. Multiball over for Mike. He's going to have to put in some work again. Handpot waiting. Barely row waiting. Makes her up. Lock shot. Mike driving the craziest taxi right now with Corby, Dracula, and Maryland. Spins in a bit. That would have been some nice free points save. That was an awful fe. Phil steps up. Phil, the only person with the possibility I'm taking this win away from the first though. Planets need to align. They're not going to that way. Hands on his hips. Walks away. Not too much he could have done differently there. Jack walks up. Over spins. Nope. Why did you do Jack? Never doubt Jack. Getting active. Pass. That's the game. Settle a bit. Release. No. Another try. Allie wants to see Santa Claus and then attacks him now. finds the ramp somehow. Double danger it looks like. Trapped on both lane one. Not quite. Doesn't get the back hand. Another shot. Nope. Little bit late. Santa Claus calls it. Santa Claus will relight the lock. Trapped Find some luck again after picking up Dracula. doing some favors by having the game of his life. Maybe not the game of his life, but you know what I mean. Shots on the left. The fastest spin I've ever seen on this game. to not come in last. Didn't have the best first two balls. Man, that was a tough game for Carter. Fortunately, he had those great games of blackout fish tales because that taxi was not his. Mike gets ready. 50k times three of course. Trapped on the right. Post pass. Block shot. Another chance on the 100k. Bill walks up a lock ready for him thanks to Mike Diamondus provided by Pitball Shenanigans. London pit ball 75k times three.
