Today I want to take a look at what games we may see from other pinball manufacturers. Some of this is new information that I’ve gathered this week and other parts have been written about here or elsewhere previously (so no need to tell me that in the comments lol). Let’s start off with Chicago Gaming Company (CGC). CGC is currently finishing up its latest 1,000 machine run of its Medieval Madness remake. The games sold out so quickly that they decided to do yet another 1,000 unit run of the game for the U.S. and Europe immediately after this one. So what game is next after all of these Medievals are done? That is the question. My money is on a new pinball machine based on Halo. For those of you who aren’t familiar with the franchise, here’s a short description: Halo is a military science fiction media franchise, centered on a series of first-person shooter video games, that began with Halo: Combat Evolved in 2001. Developed by Bungie and now managed by 343 Industries, the series follows the supersoldier Master Chief in a conflict against alien threats like the Covenant and the Flood, and has expanded to include real-time strategy games, novels, and a TV series. Halo is rumored to be the next game designed by Play Mechanix and built by CGC, like their first collaboration, Pulp Fiction.
