### Sentiment

**Negative** (-0.65) — Despite gratitude and appreciation expressed toward the community, the overall tone is melancholic, vulnerable, and marked by personal struggle. Kaneda is transparent about going through difficulties ('the answer is no, I'm going through a lot') and emphasizes emotional exhaustion. ## Transcript

I know I can't be the only one who's holding on for dear life. But God knows, I know when it's all said and done, I'm not okay, but it's all gonna be alright. Case Closed Good morning to all of my great followers and subscribers. I'm really feeling blessed wakingupnowing that there's at least 700 people in this world that get great entertainment on a weekly basis from Kaneda's Pinball Podcast. It's been something that, over the last 10 years, it's really been a part of me. I mean, it's almost a quarter of my life I've spent studying this pinball hobby, Looking at what these companies are doing, speculating about what's around the corner, wondering if anyone in modern times at these prices can put Bally Williams magic underneath the glass and how infrequent that really is. And it is surprising and it keeps this show going on a weekly basis and it's a lot of fun. And I've always tried to make this show the most entertaining pinball podcast on the planet. It's gone through many, many evolutions. I mean, there were days when I was cursing with I dont goam I was going on personal attacks collagen a very small we were Doink tutai 1 h马 This great freedom to talk about such a unique and interesting item in the world. Really, when you think about it, are there many items like this in the world that could keep so many of us captivated for so many years, take so much of our money, take so much of our time away from so many other things? And I think that speaks to the amazing ability of this product. And beyond the product, the most amazing ability of this product is its ability to bring people together from all over the world I'll be back with more of the best in the world from all walks of life, from all financial backgrounds. I can honestly say that this hobby has given me my best friend in life, which is Derek over there in California now. He doesn't make smart decisions. I mean, he's my best friend and he's listened to every single show. He picks up the phone almost every time I call him, almost every day. And even so, he bought a Godfather. And that just goes to show you that even when you're the nicest and the tightest David David Van Es Knapp Arcade mistakes like buying a Godfather collectors He didn even buy a collector edition He bought an LE and then he put all this money into the accessories and he ended up losing like seven thousand dollars because he didn listen to Kaneda But everybody, I know there's a lot of people looking at like my Facebook page being down and sort of what's going on and I've been doing some like lives and I've been saying some stuff and I just want to just sort of nip all the speculation in the butt. I am taking a break for many many reasons that are personal. I alluded to stuff happening with my new family and yes, that is why I'm stepping away. I have overprioritized this pinball hobby to the point now where the things that are truly important and the people that truly need me and everything that truly matters, I've put in jeopardy because of my overemphasis and my sort of just like my focus so much on this. And you know, I have been doing a lot of really, really difficult soul searching over the last All the I'm going to be a boss and I think in all of our lives, you know, I say wait and see all the time is my tagline and I need to wait. I need to wait and see, you know, how I can get everything else that is much more of a priority in the right place before I have the right mindset to do this show the way I want to do it because you know me, I never want to do this show and not make it the most entertaining, the most fun, like the greatest place to hang out in all the pinball. And I don't know if I'm ever going to turn the Facebook I'm going to go back on and be honest, I kind of might just do everything here. I know that Patreon is going to start to have a Patreon live. So all of what we love about sort of Saturday morning spectacular is I think are going to carry over here. But I definitely wanted to emphasize for all my fans out there. First and foremost, thank you so much for the support. I hope I don't lose your support as I take this break. I know there's a little bit of a monetary thing you guys contribute. And trust me when I say this, like now more than ever, I could use the support in life. I hope you don't leave the show. I hope you don't think it's going away. I hope you don't think you haven't gotten your money's worth over the years and over the months and over the weeks that I've been doing this. So I thank you so much. I know that it's a lot for a lot of you. You know, we're all getting hit left and right with inflation and subscribe to every damn channel and all this stuff. And yet you've found room in your world and time in your world to listen to Kenea's Pinball Podcast. So I really do appreciate that because the time you give me is the most Our whole series is about pinball partnerships sponsored mean this like it a weird thing to me because like We really do like distill it down. It's the people and the relationships that matter the most and that isn't really what's going to help new inbox sales. It's not going to help anything other than maybe like us content creators and the places in the communities you hang out and talk pinball and that's always going to be the most valuable thing and I'm never going to let that go. I really do mean this. I mean I've met some of the greatest people ever. This creative outlet means so much to me and I've been working so hard on it for 10 years. Screen şur vote for treblüler! And this is part of it. This goes with the Canadian territory like you're getting all of me. So I just want to say to everybody out there, enjoy your summers. I've always said pinball is a winter sport. I don't think there's a lot happening. I think when this show goes back on is when stuff's going to start kicking again in pinball.
