hi I'm Kyle with Stern Pinball and in this video we're going to go over how to adjust your inlane up posts before you service your game it's always a good idea to either power the game off or open the coin door so the interlock switch is in the powered off position when the coin door is open the interlock switch is open it'll remove the 48 volts from the Playfield if you're in Lane upost ever becomes less than flush with the play field a ball can get stuck in the hole for the upost it's an easy adjustment to get the in Lane upost flush again with the Playfield we will need to raise the Playfield into the service position this requires removing the Playfield glass as well as the pinballs to remove the balls manually we will actuate the ball serve plunger um with the coin door open it is safe to reach inside here we're going to push that plunger up with a bit of force and that will eject a pinball we'll do that five more times and we will get the rest of the pinballs to adjust the in Lane up post we need to get the Playfield up into the service position to adjust the upost we will need to screw the stop bracket up or down in this instance the up poost is too low we'll want to thread the stop up into the Playfield to adjust the post level to be flush I can reach around to the other side of the Playfield and feel for the upost and check for flush now that we've confirmed that the upost is level with the Playfield we will tighten down the lock nut at the bottom of the stop nice and snug now let's check our work we'll see if we can get that ball stuck on the upost there's no way that ball will stick on that up poost thanks for watching this video from tech school
