## Analysis

Greg Bone and co-host Jon discuss their recent retro gaming collecting hobby, showcasing NES, SNES, N64, and Sega Genesis games and consoles they've acquired. They share knowledge about classic titles like Contra, Duck Tales, Aladdin, Mega Man X, and Zelda: Ocarina of Time, discussing collectibility, game rarity, and their personal gaming experiences. The hosts announce plans to create future retro gaming content alongside their pinball coverage.

### Key Claims

- [MEDIUM] Aladdin on Sega Genesis is considered superior to the Super NES version by hardcore gaming analysts — _Jon states 'based on most of the analysis and then hardcore people, it's the Sega' version that's better_
- [MEDIUM] Chip and Dale 2 and Duck Tales 2 are super rare NES games selling for hundreds of dollars for the cartridge alone — _Jon: 'I'm looking for Chip and Dale 2 and Duck Tales 2. You probably never heard of them... They're in the hundreds of dollars just for the cartridge alone'_
- [MEDIUM] The original N64 analog stick is different on some models compared to later versions — _Jon: 'did you know the analog stick is different on some models? The original models was loose down. This is more the Wii controller model'_
- [LOW] Sega Genesis second generation has better sound ROM than the first generation — _Jon: 'The sound ROM is better on the second, uh, system' but then dismisses the overall sound quality as unremarkable_
- [HIGH] Raymond Davidson is obsessed with rare N64 games including Banjo and Kazooie and Conker — _Greg references 'Raymond Davidson, the greatest pinball player on the entire earth. He's obsessed with rare games specifically Banjo and Kazooie'_

you know any of this kind of stuff uh for me i'm basing my collecting uh we're gonna be different collectors yes the collectibility for me i like some of the nice stuff and the boxes and get it great well i do too because that's where your collectibility comes in anything that's meant in box or that's you know there's where your true collectibility comes in so this is not it this is just plain stuff yes but i'm going to have but you did get some things that were a little uber special yeah we'll cover that at a different show but i'm going to i'm going to be playing with the nes yeah the super nintendo yeah the sega genesis yes and nintendo 64. those are going to be my things that's mine is it i need a super nintendo super nintendo i'm telling you yeah what about nes contra come on people spent their life on contract this is that's me and you right there do you remember the contra code left for unlimited webinar i know i don't know i don't know everybody remember i just want to call you out great indians beyond amazing so this is the one i got from the louisville expo it's my fav probably my favorite nes game it wasn't packed it wasn't like sealed i don't know so this is one of the greatest one of the most difficult games of all time nes is capcom very important capcom makes great games yes duck tales i still love that it's really hard i actually ordered a vhs sealed copy vhs of uh the movie the lost lamp yeah you might have one too no but this i got from a little i paid 160 dollars for this thing but the box is pretty nice it had the box they had the manual it had the sleeve i had the the uh styrofoam yes that's important well that's important so i have that one of our favorite games ever with the box oh yeah sega's aladdin literally disney slayed on sega oh i think that's a good shake too it is a good shot i got it for a decent and it comes out of the manual oh and the manual is in great shape everything that's oh that's not bad i thought so too now here's the thing when it comes to aladdin i've been doing my research great did you know that the aladdin on the super nes and the aladdin on the genesis are quite different games i did not there's a big argument online as to which ones are better comment down below which one you think is better but based on most of the analysis and and then hardcore people it's the sega it's awesome it's the cellular one no and lion king was fantastic oh speaking this is another one of my favorite nes games this one's beat to hell yeah but this is one i'm going to get a as a collectible i'm going to get the case and i'm going to get older i don't believe it this is just a player one it's chip and dale rescue rangers do again capcom capcom was it apples that they had or was it uh yeah yeah the tomatoes and apples tomatoes oh tomatoes okay because i remember i thought they were all apples if John Youssi a capcom capcom was known in nes for having some of the greatest games i think mega man this is built off of a mega man platform you know that chip and dale's rescue range now another thing i've learned i'm looking for chip and dale 2 and duck tales 2 you probably never heard of them i heard it chippytail too super rare they're in the hundreds of dollars just for the cartridge alone oh here's the thing because nobody cares about them in the day this is heralded as probably the best uh best in this series this is mega man x for super nintendo do you want to hear the most sad thing in the world i've never got into the mega man series never even really played the mega man series and i know they were huge like i know but i still love never we're gonna play this we're gonna get a video playing this at some point though i played earthworm jim though you need earthworm jam i do like earthworm jim do you know they made a second one this is a nintendo 64. you gotta have it this is the legend of zelda ocarina of time right here another super awesome thing about me never met never played zelda i you know i'm not a big zelda either and you guys will learn that but some of the nes or the super nintendo and are fantastic in the 1064 it's unparalleled so it does come with a manual but this is again just a player i'm not looking to collect this i love that you're just going i love it man balls out oh my god maybe the thing oh the nintendo 64 game of all time is super mario 64. pretty damn good yeah ray day the raymond davidson the greatest pinball player on the entire earth he's obsessed with rare games specifically banjo and kazooie yeah and uh conkers and all that kind of stuff and then i like donkey kong country for the super nintendo super nintendo it's awesome donkey kong one don't go two donkey kong three but don't come country you never played donkey kong i haven't played it on the n64 it might be a little bit too polygonal no that it's weird i like the platform i think it's better than mario 16. i needed another n64 controller nice got to get the original the original is where it's at also learn this little tidbit did you know the analog stick is different on some models the original models was loose down this this is more the wii controller model i'll wear it okay more preferred i'm learning i'm learning great and that's what i love about you i had to i had to my system was so old i had to buy a refurbished sega genesis now this is the second series second gym yeah second gen you know about that your first gen you had a volume slider it was wider larger the sound rom is better in the first uh system but let's not joke ourselves these the sound on these are just yeah whatever well i felt like the porch you'd get a loose connection back and this is compatible straight to straight to uh the rca got the original controller as well uh i like the original stuff but i can't figure out what we're filming today and we're just not playing video games why aren't you playing you want to cut this and let's go play some videos what
