okay b division is playing on skateball that's getting turned on it looks like we're gonna go to radical it's gonna be fun so this is another game using the competition you're on by sauron there's no lock stealing no shenanigans a lot of bugs have been fixed um the jackpot value is follows a fixed sequence so no more random jackpots so shout outs to sauron so how did you feel about radical this weekend you know i had a really good game on it like i think i had like 6 million on it wow yeah but i was i had the luck of being in a group with a guy who got 13 million i think 11 million but then he so that felt good but at the same time i i was watching him so i thought that my six million wasn't really that great and then i was looking at the game scores at the end i'm like okay no i did pretty good yeah uh it's not playing easy the plunger in particular was super strong you actually had the calf punch otherwise the ball would airball into the middle of the playfield um and radical what do you do you spell radical because it's radical totally and that'll light your locks and then spell radical again thank you ron shout out to ron i think ron's heading out there are other points on this game around the play field there are 2 million lights you can get a million from this upper loop here which i believe starts lit at the start of the game uh there's also a million that lights occasionally when you i believe when you spell radical at this drop target bank you can complete the drop target bank and hit the target behind it oh cool thanks for the uh for the clip thanks minke there's also the snake run up here this one two three bank if you complete it you can hit the target behind there for some awards we also follow a fixed sequence in this competition rom i believe the first one is uh a million select a million points jim somehow able to play at the highest level while fixing every game here constantly yeah we uh got to see a sneak peek at the game lab last night that was a lot of fun yeah it's really cool you got to play some beat saber i want to get it now oh boy rough ball for jim he tried for the tail slider oh and missed it and straight down the middle uses his kickback just trying to get the ball under control there it is cradled on the left and the various shots around the playfield will give you radical letters and if you can collect these letters quickly they build in value so they get to be pretty worthwhile you can get them all back to back but out the left out lane now brian cave representing san diego foreign [Music] there's a million shot through that upper loop [Music] threads the needle through the bumpers gets the d he only needs the two a's [Music] oh it stays in brian getting some nice in-lane look and he's cleared that drop target bank there is a spot letter target behind there if you can hit it a little trouble [Music] there he grazes it there bounces in a this has the side loop to go oh boy wow oh my gosh just completed one two three for a second time that gives you a bonus multiplier as well those multipliers carry over you can't find that spot letter target at some point maybe you just try to hit the a normally finally brian's ball comes to an end he's trying for that last day for ages but a great ball he's up to 2.8 million but anyone's game you can start the multiball get the jackpot huge points backhands the left ramp for the first aid there it is [Music] unfortunately he has the two hard leathers remaining the d and the i appear [Music] spot letter is flashing oh i thought it would get through but it didn't quite raise the spinner enough there's the d can you get the eye the feed from the bumpers makes it hard to get a clean shot at it the eyes also lit for a million start of the normal game you can steal locks but not in this version of the rom it is fixed so normally you would you could steal locks and the other player would lose all of his radical letters and they would have to respect radical which is terrible uh but they fixed it so it remembers your radical process progress you just have to re-lock the balls with a single shot much nicer [Music] now jim yes i believe the multiball jackpots oh and it chooses the outland breaker gym i believe the multiball jackpots will follow the sequence 4 million four million six million eight million maybe checking correctly on that so no more randomized jackpots in this rom dennis didn't step up this is the semifinals so we're at the final eight right now dennis has been playing some great pinball this weekend thinking about which letter to pick off next those transfers [Music] all right for the million shots trying to quite make it [Music] now we have brian k ryan only needs the a right here to light his lamenting his missed multiball drain right as you lit it sometimes you have those moments that stick with you i know i have a couple i have more than a couple who picked i think jim picked yeah yeah he's driving the bus on this one jim likes these wacky games and he has the game knowledge to really make it count rescue 9-1-1 not really a game you see in competitive pinball i don't think do you have any game tips for anyone looking to play uh well i guess we'll see the game so there are two modes you want to pick that will automatically start your multiball if you start the mode there jaws of life and cave-in so the modes are up in the middle here and while the ball is in the plunger lane you can use to select which mode will be the next one you start so you want to move it to select jaws of life or cave in um and then there is a trick there is an exploit where after you start your mode like say you select jaws of life and you start your mode right here it'll feed a ball to the plunger lane to start your multiball and during that time when it's in the plunger lane you can change the mode to something else one of the non-multiball modes and it'll still be a multiball huh and you can do that and potentially make all of the balls a free multiball um so there's a little trick there we'll see if that comes into play and also it's possible um on this game to get zero points no i did see that on my round uh it was a little confusing because it automatically advanced to play like they were playing three they got a zero it went to player four and there's a little bit of confusion but it is possible no ball pave just went down didn't hit anything got zero points other than that uh the points are all in the multiball really if you can get the multiball jackpots they start to double in value and it gets ridiculous oh yeah that was also in competition if uh you had a tilt warning a tilt pass-through oh yeah um you were issued a yellow card you could danger through on this game yeah be careful um all of the modes on this game are pretty worthless as far as points go they give you lives you can see live saved right here and the lives don't really give you points they give you some pity points at the end of the game for each live save something like 100 000 or something but they don't really score much they do advance you towards the wizard mode but not really playing for that so mostly you're ignoring the modes and just getting trying to get the jackpot to multiball the one mode that is worth decent points is the jaws of life mode that uh you can see uh jim selecting it right now yep also it's a matter of where you drop your ball from the helicopter too that was always my problem and jim going right into it starts his mode this is going to start the free multiball you can see him using the exploit changing the mode to caven right away so now even though this mode technically shouldn't start the multiball the multiball has already started here goes the helicopter picking up the ball so that's the first jackpot right there the helicopter shot that'll be 10 million i believe and now the jackpots are up here you have to hit that ramp to the right and then this flipper oh and this takes oh wow look at that yeah the staging here from gyms beautiful that multiball is over but just even that skill just to have it staged up there that's hard oh wow now he can change his mode back because there is ball in the plunger lane again back to jaws of life start this mode and then switch it off again and you see the exploit coming into play free multiballs so this time jim is going to stick with jaw's life play this mode this mode actually is worth decent points it could be worth 100 million plus if you complete it there's one jackpot multiball's over unfortunately but the first shot four jaws of life is right here jim was aiming for it stay up it does jim is too dangerous unfortunately doesn't really cash in on the jaws of life mode now he's gonna switch it believe again these initial jackpots are 10 million so [Music] not really many other points in the game besides these jackpots looked like he had it so now this is the ideal situation a ball look at that another 10 million jackpot so jim going for the bumpers here in hostage rescue actually i think jim has this 30 million hurry up lit from i believe saving 20 lives many people really know this game very well i know i had to study it a lot for the tournament on a friday so there is a skill shot you plunge here and whenever it rolls over a switch here it will give jaws of life at some point in your game you can still use cave-in for the multiball trick so he's going to go in the wildfires unfortunately after you complete a mode i believe the next mode it lights is kind of random so you're sort of stuck with these crappy modes you can change the mode if you lock a ball and get a ball back in the plunger lane and you can also change the mode if you hit the cap the ball i believe now this is this mode does score your bonus points whenever you hit a shot so it can be worth a lot if you have a nice bonus that's the uh wildfires mode pretty relevant here in california oh coming soon now brian has that hurry up split here for saving 20 lives i believe maybe it's 25. looks like it just timed out i think that's 20. now this mode wants you to hit the bumpers you save lives if you hit the bumpers oh lazarus holy cow kinda got me excited flip that one wow there's a lock for brian now he can go back to the multiball trick gonna switch the cave in and excellent smart play from brian i know he was just learning this game this weekend too we were all powwowing about the tricks about this game again the first jackpot you can get from the uh mode start shot on the left even hitting that cap the ball alone can be worth decent points 9 million a shot and you can get the extra ball as well which i think is worth 20 million he tried for it he gets it extra ball wow oh my gosh brian's killing it he's about to go through all the modes you need to call 911 i like it i'll approve oh my goodness the helicopter didn't pick up the ball and it just spat back out down the middle but excellent excellent ball from ryan that was very mean i do agree so the other thing is this cap the ball is worth points it starts at 3 million but if you hit the stand up you see how it's changing red and blue it'll build a red value and a blue value over the course of the ball as you hit that stand up so you can get that to pretty good value so ryan had it up to 9 million for each hit of this cap the ball which wow decent points yeah trying to find the mode starts shot a little bit late gets it that time but since he accidentally hit the cap the ball it changed his mode so he's on hostage rescue instead of jaw's life oh no i taught you what you want to do so he's gonna have to slog through this so you could just choose the time these modes out or you could just hit the captive ball and stand up and fill that value up nothing better to do get some uh bumper hits for hostages oh what a move it stays up i would have drained there 100 i did he made the exact right move but unfortunately hits the cap to ball and straight down the middle there but that was a brilliant move keep that ball alive earlier from jay so jim's gonna let the top settle he's gonna step up he's in second place right now behind ryan cave going into ball two so he's gonna keep caving rescue lit and do the trick um you can only do the trick through your first round through all the modes if you get through all the modes you can no longer do the trick the modes no longer give you multi balls but if you've got to that point you're probably already doing pretty good what do you get for completing all the boats uh i think it just resets them all i believe yeah eventually if you save enough lives you get you can start life force uh which is like the wizard mode but that's conversation i was like we know you know thanks luca for agreeing with me i know that's how you felt about rescue 911 so jim is plunging his ball too he is uh going to try to hit that mode start and there it is gonna switch it over the stork extra ball and that's the first shot you want to make to get that first jackpot now he's gonna go for that stork extra ball can actually be uh decent points there just needs to cap the ball a little bit early trying for it three more seconds and he's just gonna let it timeout and thankfully caven ruski was lit again for his next mode so he can do the trick one last time for his final mode oh you know what i think that middle light is out yeah the last smooth light so this is his final mode is cave and rescue now i believe you can actually get some points from this mode if you uh complete these weird drop targets up here but i don't think it's really worth super a lot he is approaching life force there's one tilt warning i think i saw he was at 35 lives i wonder what it's at for life force i think he's going to let this out because he knows it's ready yeah i can see that what and that's that's that's what that blinking yellow in the middle is right about yeah the light force is ready on that right and this could be worth up to 100 million points [Applause] so life force i believe each shot is worth a million you want to hit all five shots and jim just has jim just has uh one shot left oh no that was a hundred million point drain one shot away but still jim up to 241 million do the thing goes for a hostage rescue so this can be nice and multiball because you can get if you can get the ball on the bumpers you can save lots of lives oh down the middle this game is so frustrating when you just lose your multiball right away all right so luckily jaws of life is the next mode lit for dennis so he can do the trick again there we go no i think you do you definitely want to play jaws of life in the game oh no takes two tilt warnings there loses his multiball right away again there's the first shot the second shot is the ramp on the right beautiful next is the captive ball oh did it graze it that ball came screaming and is saying he doesn't know what he's doing but he did pretty good there yeah and what we saw is that jaws of life mode yeah it's very lucrative so you definitely want to want to play through that one you can still do the trick with cave and rescue so you can keep that mode in in the game no i believe this is brian's last note as well so the question is how many lives has he had is he close to life the first time you wouldn't know what shot to hit and now i know so yeah that mode you can hit the cave drop targets at the top for some points and then there's there's a spot target behind it i don't down to how you can do your multiple skills can you get that second jackpot the ball was up there but couldn't find it so this is nice because he can change his mode back to jaws of life what a karim on top of it so any game with one of those can't be that bad right yeah well we have that on rescue n1 we have f-14 tomcat so when those two are going you're just like it's like a disco up in here so jim in the lead on his ball three um he already played life force so this is nice because he can play jaws of life again it won't be a multiball because you only get the multiball as your first time through the modes i see but he gets to play jaws of life again and get all those points which is excellent and i actually i think he just lit this extra ball from a certain amount of lives too i see that blinking at him oh no a little bit too aggressive he has a high game today so i guess the shot was actually the jaws of life shot that was thing it started blinking a little bit earlier than i thought but a great game from jim 240 million but the pressure is on now did ryan complete all his modes too i think he was on his last one when he trained he was on haven which was the last one he had so they should be reset on his next ball so he has the opportunity to get jaws of life to get jaws alive again i believe drop one for dennis but he's in third place right now with 112 million all right let's see what ryan can do yep they are all unless so you can go with jaws of life for those points yep and yeah this is different the second time through because on the first jaws of life the taking the normal skill shot gonna play it safe a little bit early on the backhand and that is black knight you hit that light lock target and pray you stay alive sometimes it doesn't work [Applause] horn gonna punch his ball too he's gonna go for that super duper skill shot again doesn't get it that time can't lane change if you try for that one stuff and i'm gonna use this ball save there and again i people are trying as the ball is coming on the fly here to backhand it up here we just saw two players drain trying to do that missing brian trying to pad his lead a little bit but he did defeat the sand worm so we'll have that extra ball next ball maybe someone in the chat could tell me how much that extra ball is worth because i think i said it incorrectly earlier jay going into the magma beast mode this is a nice move because it lights all of the shots so you're gonna post transfer light his second lock uh-oh stay in the ball stays in finally back under control tries to forehand gosh oh no so then it's going to finish in last place in this game now brian trying to catch up with jim and jay is it 33 million jim's at 39 million skill shot we'll get him about halfway there it is points on because everything's flashing at you i mean these points are worth the good moods i'm sorry these modes are worth good points oh and he's used the power as well so all of these mode points are doubled and he already defeated the beast huge points well that was scary that was from using the sword of rage and it keeps all of the shots lit during that mode too that is the best mode to use the sword on the sword power and he could get to another multiball but the game has had enough but excellent excellent game from bryan in the first place right now with over 76 million and now jay he's in second place right now he has to try to catch brian to get another another point out of here 30 million to catch it maybe you just try to start a mode get some points that way he has a magnet the magma beast mode ready already [Applause] nails it uh you probably already started this mode earlier so it retained his progress and it's a chance to complete it and he can get that extra ball it feels more natural or they like them better with some players like these triggers because they're awesome also i think you get a little bit more leverage for nudging by holding those huge trigger from handles oh man just missed that uh that last i guess that was a super there he broke it and drains immediately but ball won 268 million gets that multiball right away [Music] immediately puts
