it's just making it sure that you cannot cradle yeah Nick I think Nick I assume that's how you say but uh Nick was the closest to beating me today by far it was literally one switch away on uh I think I don't remember what the game was called like Lady Luck something like that one switch away from Catching me one shot and just barely came short oh nearly the five thousand no five thousand left from anyone that we've seen so far oh there it is that's what you want to get right there all right arrow and an extra wallet on the center oh it kissed the target but didn't quite register this target almost guarantees like I had a 23 000. like it is great value because you start the doodle at 100 another extra ball this is so scary there it is so 100 points every every time that ball goes up and really matter right now I'm really liking the chances here so I think that's the game 49.85 solid solid game so all right Marshalls facing 17 000 for the first point uh 23 000 for the second and then call it 50 000 for the uh for the win Doodlebug is one of those games that I really don't like going forth on it's hard to a lot of the time you have very little control over what happens it feels like it so uh just being able to go first and you know put that score up you know it feels good sometimes unless you get 8 000 and then all right Center Post is up the second approach on this game is nice but like everything puts it down there's these two giant slings underneath the one in the four Target that put the uh extra balls lit oh an extra ball Target almost as guarantees them a point but uh this thing plays uh really mean like very very mean El Rocco with the sub appreciate it so the one thing that Nick was doing that no one else was was out of the scoot they were bumping really hard a nice game but uh yep the flippers are strong but all the feeds are really nice the scoop isn't like perfect at bounce but it's close enough the TV's job is uh too tough it's a it's a hard job it's hard to make decisions like that as well how many more rounds do you think this will go for Usher uh my SM is four four is my best honest guest here but it could also go to five and be like an insane played a pro but I will um so the only main thing that changes is that building multiball gets a little harder and uh Abra gets a little stronger why do you say amber it gets a little stronger because in the building multiball the spinner is always available okay in the building multiball the Spinners are the spin is always available regardless in the premium in the premium you still gotta light your AutoBall before it's available oh you're talking about that okay okay and I don't know for me almost everything I do in that game is around building multiball like if I can if I can hit both ramps then I'm just doing it forever right like all right so but I I typically I like Everett first because you if you're solid on it you get 80 million or so but uh megalons the uh it's real fun the mega one I didn't realize until at Northwest in uh high stakes I had a 2X megalon in single ball play for like 450 million and it's just like all right I mean if you need a lot of points really fast that's definitely the way to do it you ever played this game before Carl once or twice never never right the first time so really this comes down to how did you play this earlier today what did you play this earlier today it was my very first game of the tournament so are the Rams makeable Mis yes they are they're not only are they makeable they're very makeable so it's a very tight tilt also yeah I also uh I got a five-way loop combo in my Ghidorah on the upper loop from our extra so that's also doable oh I didn't see that number you pointed out I don't know why he didn't have information over there yeah that's weird all right Jake Collins I had to play Jay I think three times today uh he actually I think now holds the record for most Whoppers he's relying on one game of pinball of all time because uh if he beat me on Deadpool he saved eight percent of Whoppers for a hundred people which if you add everything up is uh at least maybe over 100 maybe 200 Whoppers total so Luca San Diego with the Prime look at thanks for the sale nearly two years all right that's how you want to start a game right there I pick Evra or I pick uh megalon I'm not going Gigan a lot of people that's see that's weird I'm a big Gigan person Gigan isn't worth that much but it's kind of like a free one to get you to Ghidorah right because like getting to the Ghidorah is like that wild card where you can kind of get any amount of points that you need in that mode like if you need a billion you bring a 2X in there you got your at least getting a good chunk of it done true true and you know that's the one thing with megalon is that it's very hard to beat it you know it's nine shots right it's seven shots seven shots and the pop bumper can be one of them yep left ramp is it very frequently one of them yep and you know when you have a short amount of time to shoot it yeah it took me four shots for my eyebrow yeah that's not good okay so then I was about to mention that and Gigan may be the way to go maybe well and I also like Gigan on the pro because the ramps build for longer than they do on the premium because you need more shots right um I think you need to hit the building at least three times but it was funny playing this Godzilla because it has balls here so short plunging isn't always exactly what you want to do no you want to get some sort of skill shot to extend that still rippers thank you for the uh for the prime stuff tear it up girl the cameras are it's in the other room and we didn't completely plan on this today so apologies for 80 years yeah it was just too good wonderful tournament that you should uh you should come too if you have the time and money dinosaurs that would be uh that would be good uh especially because the stream just froze so winner of Indus 2023 are you talking do you think yeah trying to who do I think it's really hard to tell because indisk is probably the hardest tournament with the green line I'd say and this is the hardest tournament in the world right now to win because you have to do well on such a wide variety of games so once again we were not really supposed to stream in this room today uh there's two rooms at this tournament there's the front row and then there's the back room we in the booth are in the back row and so we're trying to stream from the front row Carl can't stream in the front row but just hasn't bothered setting it up because it's a lot of people here I want you to try an EPC kind of crash uh I really wanted to go to EPC this year but uh it's the same weekend as Expo and with Expo also being search and finals and also being Expo it's hard for uh it's hard for me to pass up on that but I know Kaylee is going to ECP uh uh EPC this year all right so Jim even though we can't see it Jim is uh lid on the center I think it is right okay yeah because now he's in multiball I mean I don't know a lot of people I feel like don't understand how insanely valuable the main multiball can be it can be you got to get you gotta get to that you gotta get into the third tier though and you gotta go for the wall up shot yeah the pro does this now oh so you really want a short lunch though yeah that must have been a megalon shot because he got a replay uh oh yeah megalon's on the spinner I see it's purple now that's nice because yellow was uh kind of disappeared on you a lot especially it's such a big shot man and that wasn't even the best value he let the best value get away from him yeah I think he's still a solid ball here it's all in uh yeah super 35 yeah because uh when you bring in uh Rodan into regular multiball it's more of like 4X than 2x because when you add value to the jackpot it adds the 2x value I'm pretty sure yeah so yes you can get if you get into the last stage or tier three Troopers if you bring in the 2x you can get up to probably 600 million right and if you uh yeah exactly if because every switch it builds the megalon value while he's underground yeah oh there's no least some game time I have an idea you have an idea even though you know he called like the secret combos in the did you know do you have all the secret Combos and City combos memorized not the city combos I know the secret combos mainly it's a really hard one which uh yes um the office on the world luck shot if you get that one then you're going for the other nine yes I had one in my game that uh did that but it went to the upper flipper and I hit a loop I was like oh it was nearly the secret cup but there's no there's no way you can skillfully get it no so no way I normally play a female man I just find so I don't know it just feels the game is so different even though it's very similar yeah no I 100 agree I it is very hard to explain but there is definitely a noticeable difference yeah mostly on the right side of the Playfield yeah like just like uh I don't know what's easier I'm trying to think if it's easier it's probably easier on the premium I think it's easier on the premium yeah especially if you're going from Godzilla volleyball when you're locked in the balls I find that much easier yep um it's a good seeing everyone in chat you see zmac uh everyone else thanks left orbit or left ramp things get easier that's nice only one danger too Carl's struggling with that level you can't move the scheme a little bit you can get away with one slide save oh yeah that was right away yeah I guess that's true but also man just going for Ghidorah is good as well like get to that tier two mode true but there's a lot of risk involved in those a lot more than the multiballs here yeah that's true there's so much risk and rewards in this game and that's what makes it great that's what makes it great that's still my least favorite keep that one game but that's not it's still in my top 10 games ever made so what's your favorite keep going game uh Jurassic Park yeah so Jim's doing his jet fighters at the same time uh for your his extra ball right or is this his first left ramp and it comes in lane and you're shooting the scoop and if you make that shot you're gonna have a good game again exactly that is the most important shot of the game like and you nailed it and you had a good game and you still have a ball to play uh uh when you're chasing like 16 million as your first point not a bad idea true I feel like I still pick eyebrow though in this situation that it was not that good of another experience just like I played probably a best of like 65 with Andrew Rosa because neither of us were in ifpa at that point so we were just going around the papa facility plan games for fun we probably played Dragon like 11 times and we were keeping track the whole time of our win loss yeah uh so we'll see how uh EPC and if Diego Go but looking forward to I really want to go to an EPC I've never been uh and uh I'm very I always love meeting all the people from Europe and uh at tournaments because we just don't see them here in North America very much and there's a lot of great players especially uh in Florida uh just because I like covid even now it's still hard to travel and uh so but it was really cool meeting uh all the all the people that have uh gotten to the top of their uh their countries during covet I think the highlight of people I didn't know about until if uh ifba was uh Marcus from Finland he was a pleasure to watch I've lost chat so 116 slots fill up everyone else is done I think there's a B division though so he's opening the box of streaming supplies that's not a good sign Paragon upper flipper is a bit weak fair enough yeah we're playing against the California school as well so they're playing on Sunday at like 1am so how do you know are you stage slipping or know you're half flipping uh it's stage living is really hard it's uh it's very different for everybody um you just gotta find what works for you go out on location and play a bunch of different games at all stage differently and just find a strategy that like getting into it with my college team and like learning how to be competitive with it and playing a team game like that so you prefer Valentine Batista is good too I like Valerian as well because their rank system is really good but the game mechanics just don't feel good for me and I haven't gotten a lot of time I only have like 30 or 40 hours in the game so what do you think of the Esports scene uh I assume you mean for Counter-Strike I love the eSource team for Counter-Strike even though North America is terrible my favorite uh my favorite count on strike team is phased right now because I like twists he's one of my favorite players but uh yeah Splatoon 3 is amazing nice you put some purple and then slowly put on until I found it and then it's just locked in uh that's exactly how I do good to hear you've been playing on CRT I actually do have a CRT in my dorm room that I've been playing on I don't have a uh I've just been running the game through my laptop into the CRT so it yeah that was uh the most boring Banco games because it was also um Stern Pirates of the Caribbean where you could backhand the left ramp and that was miserable all right all right and brought a you've ever played any of the uh Ninja Fruit games where you're you know swiping your hands around in VR that is what's set up for uh Batman Dark Knight which is set up that you have to actually move your hands in front of the flippers you can't actually push a flipper button you have to move your hands around in a certain area to make the flipper slip and it broke before the day started uh uh but we figured it out had one of the two sensors still working so yes one of the central store and everybody's having a blast with that I will say like everyone is having so much fun I wish I had more questions I have to go to the bar and break a five to go put the yeah that's the hardest part of that let's find him once I was gonna say I brought a bunch of ones but they're locked up right now the It's a combination of both if you get all bonus multipliers you don't really get that much bonus because you've been focused on it too much for your phone focus on bonus you know those drop targets get scary to survive so a good score on this is somewhere around 500k I'd say one like good solid 3x ball next time stepping up the camera fixed itself miraculously it just started working again it's on the way this is the furthest game in the room um tomorrow will be better there'll be fewer people in here yep today's obviously challenge always a challenge always my umbrella doesn't really uh and on this game that's not terrible but you know you really really wanted to come down this way because you got another bonus there and this is if you survive it it's scary but you got a ball and flipper if you do if you survive it exactly that's isn't that pinball so all right this is a this is a very important ball for both player three and four you can really get your foot in the door but uh man this skill shot is so hard I took better to do the harder plunge and try and get it on this flipper to Ricochet and uh that was a very unfortunate drink all right are you up I didn't even see what happened because Carl was drawing and it blocked the black the ball all right a little hard almost got a flip on that upper flipper oh once again this seems pretty so this feed on the uh what's it called uh El Dorado I'm used to playing the left pop bumper like this feed is really nasty but on this one it's been pretty friendly like it's not been uh it's not been dead like the right side has been only two Targets from a bonus X but he doesn't hasn't progressed any of his bones oh we tilted oh my goodness 42 000 43 000 44 000. that is a remarkable but uh this game you can once you get your 3x then it just starts rolling in because every lane is 30 000. you just gotta survive those green targets oh my goodness that uh that drain was remarkable I was I I mean I don't know what you do against that but there is still technically universe that Carlos gets a point there does this game always put pressure on you sometimes but yeah I think these people are playing for their lives right now they're so close they're so close to being like free and they can go home and sleep early and you know all the stress goes away oh just don't tell that's the main thing that if you're Adam right now you just don't want to tilt like the uh oh that was really close he has more bonus than all of his opponents that have in sport including Carlos so there's another 10 000 there this is the scary one nice all right three targets away from 90 000 more points should say Adam's got this you know you could say that but at the same time this game it's really easy to get 300 000 on the ball but uh that's all I saw a game from Adam I feel like and then especially when you're looking at other people's scores here I mean 250 000 is all all you could ask for especially he's guaranteed a point Carlos has a chance for a point but the only the only real out is if any of these people miss their skill shot and it doesn't even need to go on the flashing one they just need to go on any of the three top Lanes we'll guarantee that they're ahead who is this atom guy yeah I've never played with him before never played with them seems like a nice guy uh my dad has had a pretty remarkable run this game you can see him right here on this Arrow um each shot adds half a Playfield multiplier up to 4X and because of how long they last if you're not in Forex you're really in negative 4X like you're you're losing points they degrade but very slowly and one of the doctors keeps them well six not only do they degrade slower but they also build twice as fast this is incredible ball time for for but yeah like this game is really draining oh so Junior asked is The Game's like the key is the key to the game memorizing the video mode no it's really hot it's on really need to memorize them you can watch them and even if you don't know them it's pretty easy like it is you can see him coming there's no surprises yeah and there's really three main strategies you're looking for you're looking for Sonic booms you're looking for multiball or you're looking for video mode and so it's like rock paper scissors video mode will be in a bad multiball um but we'll always lose the Sonic booms everything will lose everything that beats a sonic boom is a better sonic boom yeah if if you have someone in your group like Kaylee who will loot for 100 Rams and Sonic Boom every single time you have to do it as well you don't have a choice or not if you play for a second here we just said there's gonna be two rounds yeah but he still has to do it yeah uh so Jay's going video mode what did Doctor three also I think no I think he was aiming at it's the the H on this one is so late in your head he's going multiball that no he's going he's going uh side wraps he just can't find the that round too even even though yeah because they can still they have to get past 70 points before their final placement is locked in right right so yeah even if you don't qualify in top top 16 you keep on playing for those those little Whoppers that aren't going to be multiplied by 20 percent right right because of uh this is this no longer selfishness of one player over over all the other players picking all the points I want to see Josh's response to this I do we're just gonna say run a better you know yeah 12 rounds minimum yep but again for this tournament we run 12 rounds minimum we're running to midnight at least and we didn't want one to do that no it's a it's it's gonna happen once once a century kind of it's a it's a hundred year flood kind of thing like there were two or shot away one spinner shot with a coffee yeah you won by like 50 000 points you get 50 million 50 mil well that's like 50 yeah so I mean there were there were opportunities to at least go 11 rounds yes many opportunities but man the pinball pinball gods were on my side today so this is a more complete picture now that okay 69 also so Nick should Nick Raymond's are they going to be all the 69's going to be in the same group yes and one of the 67s ray once you've also got this group though that's finishing right now so Oh I thought they were done no Derek's not quite down so we're not this 70. that is correct and in 67 only two players from the 67 group will get above 70. right so there'll be six in it but the two who get there are going to be 74 and 72 the 70 point isn't gonna be enough in the sick but we'll see but yeah this is fun isn't it yeah I've been on this side of it so I know I would say you're on this last last year yeah the only difference is like I said you don't have the opportunity to get that goose egg yeah that's right now I'm wondering is this actually good to go to the scoring we went to it to get rid of the half point for three player group or to get the we were doing three two one for three player groups which never felt Fair no that's why I like the IFA scoring seven five maybe it should be three 1.50 because you still get that goose egg you you have to actually work at it I like that a DQ is worse than one than lasso yes that's true another one yeah but the best part it's like when you play when you play in these last rounds because I did it last year it's like playing in a you know a pinberg final like it's all the nerves and the focus and the it's it's really exciting I felt that today but like in a different way whereas you do regular match play and everybody plays to the end it's like oh great Escher and Carl and Jim are playing again on a game and oh is it this great oh look at them you know it's it's great to pull the players out and then let everybody else and that's what most people don't do with the target match play format they they end up ending the tournament when someone hits that yeah and we did that in Indus because of time restrictions right we're not doing it but this way with the qualifications and pulling them up oh you've been there so much about that Thursday thing you run the Thursday thing yeah to keep people from winning the bounties is that what it's for yes you learned that rule yesterday last year that you if you play in that match play classic thing at indisc you don't get to get all the I'm looking around the room I didn't recognize any other Seattle guys in Seattle right uh Northern he's normal he brought his son his how old is his son I don't know older than that six or seven I had to play I had to play him twice he got oh man because it was his first tournament right yeah so he's the lowest seated yep so uh it's good you get that experience early and it'll uh it'll pay off in the end imagine pulling out of it that's funny because yeah he had some drama at uh District 82 a while ago so I have to bring up that you shouldn't be allowed to pull out of certain amount I know why you do it but I I don't think it should be allowed so the real playpoint why not so the reason I don't feel like it you're playing bad but I think you should still your reasons up to that point you should still count I know why so no wine doesn't but I think there's an exit there's an exploit here obviously yeah and so like when I pulled out of the tournament it was not for like you weren't doing it as a next Point even if I did lose power 100 I didn't care like I was gonna and it wouldn't have cost you a power 100 yeah and I just I like how the like the ratings work all the people that were beating me I have played many times before so like I can afford one loss especially if I do well at indisk every single one of those players is gonna be in class I don't know how you find the balance point like because there are lots of legitimate reasons to pull out yeah um yes yes there are and but because you're playing poorly and you're feeling fine just because you're playing bad I still think it's not your legitimate reason I think it is I think that's still your choice as a player that there's no you shouldn't be forced to play if you're not feeling like you're playing well why not pull out it's costing you you're not getting any Whoppers you've caused someone else to spawn that event by take by I'm going out yeah you you've crossed the other players in the event they're the extra whopper or whatever I don't you know like I've said before I'm not taking it you've taken a spot yeah you're taking a spot from someone else that would have run the full length of the tournament unless they themselves also were planning to pull out if they play for them okay unlikely yeah we can make it work but here's I mean here's the underlying problem though they you play too much at District 82. I always want Cliffs this is why okay Cliffs is a static progression on every Paragon you play there's plenty of tournaments where Paragon is not that is he's right there's a lot of Paragons that don't go in order right and a lot of them even so it's still it's Advanced bonus and it goes in and you get the other Advanced bonus on the red target yeah but you get that for Cliffs a lot no he
