## Analysis

Pinball Brothers has cast doubt on whether their upcoming Queen pinball machine will be ready for the September 24th Cointaker Super Awesome Pinball Show Tailgate Party, citing manufacturing delays and international supply chain risks. The company stated manufacturing only begins in September and suggested Pinball Expo (October 19-22) is a more likely debut venue. This contradicts earlier promotional materials that listed Queen's appearance at the tailgate event.

## Transcript

The Cointaker Super Awesome Pinball Show Tailgate Party, scheduled to take place on September 24th, looks like it's going to be an amazing event. There's going to be special appearances by designers John Borg from Stern Pinball and Eric Meunier from Jersey Jack Pinball, a special sneak preview of a game from American Pinball, tons of pinball machines on Free Play, food and drink...but one thing might not happen there...the American debut of the Pinball Brothers’ upcoming pinball machine, Queen. The appearance of Queen was mentioned several times in ads for the event, however Pinball Brothers has cast doubt upon whether then game will actually be ready in time.

In response to a comment on a Pinball Brothers' Facebook post that cited my article talking about the appearance of the game at the party Pinball Brothers said the following:

"yes, and we have repeatedly advised to hold your horses. as manufacturing only begins in september, a lot of things can still go wrong. think of international supply chains to china, for example. we wouldn’t put any money on september, pinball expo is a better bet, but be sure that we’ll announce it when the first machines are shipped."

This seems to imply that Queen may not be ready for the Super Awesome Tailgate and that people hoping to get a close look at the game may have to wait until Pinball Expo, which is scheduled to take place in Chicago from October 19 - 22. In the meantime, the pinball world is anxiously awaiting video of the game in action.
