## Analysis

Don and Genghis from We Are Pinball review Stern's survey of ~75 potential pinball game themes, discussing commercial viability, home vs. location appeal, and designer fit for themes ranging from Pokemon and Grand Theft Auto to Nirvana, RoboCop, and Fast & Furious. They debate which IPs would work as pinball machines based on modern relevance, audience breadth, and gameplay potential.

### Key Claims

- [MEDIUM] American Pinball stated that nobody was buying games because it's an election year — _Don references this as second-hand claim about market dynamics_
- [MEDIUM] Fast & Furious arcade machines on location make 30 times more money than Guardians of the Galaxy or Iron Maiden pinball — _Genghis reports this from his location operator experience_
- [LOW] Stern is actively listening to fan feedback and incorporating their ideas into the survey — _Don speculates that his previously mentioned game ideas appearing on survey suggests Stern is listening_
- [MEDIUM] King Kong pinball is rumored to be in development by Stern with Keith Elwin as designer — _Don states 'rumors are saying that they're making this game and it's Keith Elwin'_

- [MEDIUM] Younger generations (teens/20s) are unfamiliar with classic IP like E.T. and Terminator — _Genghis describes teenagers at party not knowing what Terminator or Arnold Schwarzenegger are_
- [MEDIUM] Niche themes (Miyazaki, Happy Gilmore, indie games) won't succeed unless they have mainstream appeal — _Consensus discussion that Stern needs broad audience, not niche collector interest_
- [HIGH] Friday the 13th pinball licensing is too complex (multiple rights holders) to make commercially viable — _Don: 'so many different license holders. It's just there's no way it could really work'_
- [LOW] Pokemon would be the ultimate Spike 3 game with features like trading and competitive play — _Hosts speculate on gameplay mechanics and platform integration potential_
- [HIGH] Deadpool 3 with Wolverine made $1 billion as an R-rated film, indicating strong franchise appeal — _Don cites box office fact directly_

### Topics

- **Primary:** Stern pinball survey theme evaluation and commercial viability, Designer-to-theme matching (Jack Danger, Keith Elwin, Steve Richie, etc.), Location operator performance vs. home collector appeal tension, IP relevance and cultural currency in modern market
- **Secondary:** Spike 3 platform capabilities and feature integration, Licensing complexity and deal-breaker IPs (Friday the 13th), Music-themed pinball design philosophy (concert vs. adventure approach)
- **Mentioned:** Generation gap in IP familiarity (younger players unfamiliar with classic 80s/90s properties)

### Sentiment

**Mixed** (0.55) — Hosts are enthusiastic about survey process and some themes (Pokemon, GTA, RoboCop, Nirvana) but dismissive/frustrated with majority of IPs (sports, niche, irrelevant properties). Energy is playful and joking but underlying criticism of Stern's theme selection is consistent. Frustration with licensing barriers (Friday 13th) and modern audience unfamiliarity with legacy IPs tempers optimism.

### Signals

- **[sentiment_shift]** Strong consensus that Pokemon would be universal winner and 'no-brainer' for Spike 3 platform with connected/trading features (confidence: high) — Hosts agree uniformly on Pokemon viability with connected gameplay; 'this is a no-brainer'
- **[competitive_signal]** Fast & Furious franchise maintains strong commercial appeal despite franchise saturation (15 films) due to consistent box office and repeat audience (confidence: medium) — Genghis: 'You don't make 15 films if you're not making money every time. It's probably the same people going out to see it'
- **[design_philosophy]** Music IP requires mood-driven nostalgia approach (Nirvana concert-in-box) vs. adventure/concept-driven approach (Foo Fighters redesign as Scooby adventure) (confidence: medium) — Genghis on Nirvana: 'concert in the box, take me back to 1994' vs. Don on Foo Fighters: 'turning it into an adventure game like Scooby'
- **[leak_detection]** King Kong pinball rumored in development by Stern with Keith Elwin as designer (confidence: medium) — Don: 'rumors are saying that they're making this game and it's Keith Elwin'
- **[licensing_signal]** Friday the 13th pinball blocked by licensing fragmentation (multiple rights holders); homebrew available as alternative (confidence: high) — Don: 'so many different license holders... There's no way it could really work' but 'we got a good homebrew out of it'
- **[market_signal]** Sports themes (NHL, NCAA, FIFA, etc.) universally rejected as commercially unviable for pinball due to narrow demographic appeal and irrelevance to modern/younger audiences (confidence: high) — Consensus dismissal across multiple sports IPs; Don: 'Pinball and sports does not compute... 60-year-old, bald, old man stuff'
- **[market_signal]** Location operators see Fast & Furious arcade significantly outperforming pinball releases (30:1 revenue ratio), indicating action franchise preference (confidence: high) — Genghis: 'we have Fast and Furious, and next to it we have Guardians of the Galaxy pinball... Fast and Furious is making 30 times more money'
- **[community_signal]** Theme evaluation driven by cross-cutting criteria: cultural relevance, location vs. home viability, designer-IP fit, and modern audience familiarity (confidence: high) — Hosts systematically apply 'Is this irrelevant today?' test to every theme and debate location/home split appeal
- **[product_strategy]** Stern balancing decoy themes in survey to obscure actual 10-game pipeline while gathering genuine market feedback (confidence: medium) — Don's speculation on survey strategy to include filler themes
- **[product_strategy]** Stern conducting large-scale theme survey (75 IPs) with strategy to pad list with decoys to obscure actual pipeline games (confidence: high) — Don: 'I think what they did is they probably had about 10 themes they're really working on, and they're like, we can't just put this out because people are going to know our next 10 games'
- **[sentiment_shift]** Generational gap in IP recognition: younger audiences unfamiliar with 1980s/90s classics (E.T., Terminator, Arnold Schwarzenegger) (confidence: medium) — Genghis: teenagers at party 'didn't know what Terminator was' and 'what's Arnold?'
- **[licensing_signal]** Stern likely to pursue public domain King Kong (1933) over licensed versions (1986, 2005) to reduce licensing cost (confidence: medium) — Genghis speculation: 'if Stern does this, it's going to be 1930s King Kong because that's probably public domain'

## Transcript

That way we have some bonus episode stuff. Are you ready for this, Cengiz? Let's do this just before the election. Oh, man, it's election time. After the election, people are going to start buying pinball machines again because that's what American pinball told us, that nobody was buying games because it's an election year. All right, I'm going to hit it. Some people tell me that I need help. Some people can fuck off and go to hell. Oh, laugh is coming back. Gatchi number 14, we are pinball. Don and Jeng is. Your homies from other mothers. Join together once again for a very special episode where we will cover the Stern survey that was sent out. That has like... Oh man, I'm vibing on Cypress Hill right now. Me too, me too. Who wants to start a Cypress Hill podcast? We can just... Who should make a Cypress Hill pinball machine, Donnie? Should we have it? Is it on the survey? Sadly, no, for some reason. What the heck? Where's our Cypress heads at? So who do I want to make it? So we got a list of like 75 different themes. I think what they did is they probably had about 10 themes they're really working on, and they're like, we can't just put this out because people are going to know our next 10 games. So I need people to give me some ideas of just some crap we can throw in here. And there's so much crap in here. that was just dumped in but you know what else i noticed reading through this list which is compiled now is that a lot of the ideas like that i had kicking around they showed up on here too and i want to hope that those are actually because stern is thinking about making them it's so cool they're listening to donnie so welcome everybody show number 14 we are pinball i mean we are it's this is so cool i'm just so happy every time we make this the response is awesome the listeners are awesome so already show number 14 we're gonna talk about the stern survey they send out these mails with a lot of games themes to get some feedback should we work on this should we make these games or should we just completely ignore it on this episode number 14 don and i we're gonna discuss is this a good idea bad idea good for location good for homeowners what's good what's bad let's just hit it tony all right game is number one well number one in my heart also is muppets what do you think do you even know what a muppet is do you know what a muppet is i know what it is but that theme is just nothing for me no one should make that game what do you think about it i love it someone should make it there's so many ways to tackle it don't do the recent movies do classic muppet show just make it spooky pinball get at me let's do this thing all right fine let's jump to the next one tool the band yeah i should have had some tool music queued up man that would have been awesome i'm stupid i have never heard about tools i don't know so a thing with tool like the music's awesome but early on they really balked at streaming they want to still sell records so a lot of people like a whole generation missed out on tool and now they're like yeah that was a bad idea so people are discovering tool again it's coming around again they're dope and people i know that are into music are really into tool um but yeah i don't know if they got enough appeal we'll see how about this should they make it should they make it i mean i'd play it but it's not the top of my list but i mean i dig tool but you know all right how about this one how about this one universally i think this is the one that people want pokemon oh heck yeah that should be on top of the list i think it should be a jack danger game Pokemon, a lot of collectors would buy it, homeowners would buy it and on location it will be a killer theme oh my god I see this as a Brian Eddy theme man, personally I'm just kidding I'm just playing I'm just trying to think of someone not Jack Danger I'm just being contrary so we all want Pokemon, we're all going to buy it collecting these animals or whatever and increasing your experience points, unlocking stuff. That's what the whole game is. That was the best parts of Venom. So, yeah, dude, bring it with a lot. Yeah, of course. Of course. Pokemon is the ultimate Spike 3 system game with YouTube. What is this? Insider connected everything so we could connect. We could trade Pokemons. We could battle against your friends. Come on. Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes. This is a no-brainer. Download the content. Yeah, I think this was like, yeah, how many people are really into Pokemon? I think that's just what they were looking for. Next up, a theme nobody cares about, National Hockey League. I'm looking at my National Predator fans. Yeah, like a hockey league. Dude, sports? Pinball and sports does not compute. Excuse me. This is 60-year-old, bald, old man stuff. Have you been in a four-player competition on Flipper Football? No. Because I will tell you that, holy crap, that absolutely slaps. But it's funny not because of the sport. It's funny because of all the antics and all that stuff. So National Hockey League, no. Mutant Hockey League, yes. Okay. All right. Next game. Wax on, wax off. Karate Kid. A theme I can't care any less about. I don't care. I don't care what Jaden did it. I don't care when the other guy did it back in the day. I haven't watched the Netflix series. I don't care about the Karate Kid. Okay. Well, I grew up with Karate Kid. I really love it. Is it – will Karate Kid – will that be popular in today's market? I don't think so. But the new Netflix series, if they mean the Cobra Kai, then I'm all in. I mean that could be awesome on location and also for homeowners. I cannot wait to the next season, the next half of season six, if it's Cobra Kai. but Karate Kid, no. Cobra Kai, heck yeah. Hayao Miyazaki films. Have you seen any films by Miyazaki-san? It's like Spirited Away, My Neighbor Totoro, Howl's Movie Castle, Kiki's Delivery Service. Oh, that's anime stuff, right? Yeah, Spirited Away. No, no thanks. Princess Mononoke. I think it's niche. I don't know that... I mean, I got his films tattooed on me, but like... Okay, fair. But niche, right? Niche, right? Okay, okay. Niche doesn't do it. It needs to have a broad audience. It needs to be mainstream before Stern makes these games. How about the Beastie Boys? Beastie Boys, I love intergalactic planetary. Planetary intergalactic. Will it be good on location? I actually don't think so. Yeah. I don't know. People seem to want it. I don't know. I'm okay on it. I would want it about as much as a Daft Punk machine. I think that would be fun too. Around the world. That's much, much cooler than Beastie Boys music. Around the world. Yeah, thanks, man. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Beastie Boys, no. I would play it, but I won't own it at home. I know a couple of their songs. No, thanks. I would have said no. How about this one? I like this next one, Indiana Jones. I think yes. I think this could work. I think, okay, I've been saying this, and apparently Stern listens to me. Raiders of the Lost Ark, Stand Alone Machine, just that film. Not all four films. No Shia LaBeouf. You got everything you need. You got a crumbling temple. You got booby traps. You got a golden idol. Throw me the idol. I throw you the whip. No time, Indy. No time. Short round is there. Oh, no, no. He's in Temple of Doom. Never mind. Jacques Lindsay. Jacques Lindsay, the pilot that flew the plane Charlie 3 Papa Ontario 3PO. That was a nod to Star Wars. It's awesome. And then at the end, you got the whole, you got there's Nazis in it, right? There's supernatural stuff. The Ark of the Covenant. A big pit of snakes. The modes write themselves, man. You got that huge screen on a Spike 3 machine. The only real, Donnie. No, forget that. Forget that. That's Last Crusade, man. I just want Raiders of the Lost Ark, man. Yeah. They need to do this, and they need to do them separately. Just like Star Wars, episode 456, they should do Indiana Jones 1, 2, and 3. Absolutely. With kill on location. I mean, what's going on with this John Bork Indiana Jones? I think it was number five. Oh, no. Maybe that's why it got canceled. It's sad, but the last one he did wasn't that popular either. And it was like they were trying to cram every film together in a layout that was just okay, and we saw what happened. Just build a temple, man. Let me just go into that crumbling temple with booby traps. All right. 100% go. I saw a couple of Christmas movies on here, and here's my favorite Christmas movie, Gremlins. Okay. What do you think? As a kid, Gremlins was magical for 40 years ago or something. But is it? No, man. I won't buy Gremlins. Would you buy it? Hell yeah. I think Spooky should do it. I think it would be full of just – because the movie is about the freaking Gremlins, dude. All the crazy little creatures. You just fill the whole thing with that. And then you throw like Gizmo or something. Just don't make him a bash toy in the middle. That's so, like, that's dumb. I don't want to bash Gizmo. But I want that smokeless ashtray that doesn't work. I want all the stuff, man. And the music, yes. And, like, have a mode where, like, the gremlins have taken over the machine. It starts malfunctioning and stuff. But, like, that's the mode. And you're like, what the hell is going on? And it's like, oh, the freaking gremlins. I'm thinking gremlins all over the place just like in Attack from Mars where those Martians, they jump. And just jumping gremlins where it has to shoot the drop-down target so they stop jumping. and having Rambo as a bash target there, that could be cool. I mean, yeah. All right. Happy Gilmore. I've seen it done. I think it's a homebrew. I think it should stay there. I would play it if someone made it. I don't think it's popular enough to make, though. No, I liked the movie when I was a teen, but today, in 2024, Happy Gilmore, no. I don't think it will be a great seller. Again, niche today. All right. This next one is commercial success right here. And I've been saying it. I've been saying it. Minions. Oh, yes. Banana? Banana. Who wouldn't walk up and want to play a damn brightly colored Minions pinball machine with, like, Minions everywhere and the freaking call-outs and just insanity and explosions on the screen and, like, a story that doesn't make any sense. It doesn't have to. It's Minions. Come on. But the most important thing on that pinball machine, the flippers should be banana flippers. Banana. Have you tried that on early Williams games where they have banana-shaped flippers? Have you tried that? I don't think I have. Okay. I'll search them out. It's fun. All right. Yeah, that's also on location. Let me talk about location. Yes. That would be a killer location. Killer. Minions. Do it. It would be killer in the house, killer on location. I think that's what you have to look for. Who should design it? Oh, I don't care, man. Somebody make it. I could see what Jersey Jack would do with it. I could see what Stern Spooky would do with it. And there are like three different things. I would say Spooky on that one. Banana! Come on, man. You'd be so cool, man. Make it happen. Bop, bop, bop. This next one is a successful homebrew. I don't think it would be great for locations. It would be fun for the home, but I don't know. Friday the 13th. Great movies in the 80s, but no. There's a reason that this is a homebrew and this hasn't come out. Because, of course, this would have come out. If not for it's like a nightmare with licensing. So many different license holders. It's just there's no way it could really work. People have tried. It's not going to happen. But we got a good homebrew out of it. I think that's fair. The Red Hot Chili Peppers RHCP. I'm telling you, I love their music. Personally, I would buy Red Hot Chili Peppers. Absolutely. On a location, I think it will be okay on a location also. But personally, I love their music, man. Red Hot, again, it's 100% Jack Danger. What's that one song they do about California? I can't remember. Oh, come on. I love their music. I have been under the bridge downtown that he's talking about. Oh, man. It's a little bit rough. Yeah. All right. Who should design Red Hot? Probably Stern Who's to design it? Yeah Give it to John Borg Put expression lights in it Play the music Have the shots not be terrible It's fine What kind of You get a batch toy in there You can put like a crumbling building You can have the under the bridge area Where you can shoot up heroin multiball What the heck The data teenager mode Music videos with roller coasters They could include that as rams No, no, no, no, shine. I'm in you. That's all I really want. No, I would say make another freaking. Oh, God. Jerry was a race car driver. Primus. Make another Primus freaking game. Oh, look. Dune is next. Dune. There's sand. There's people with blue eyes. Which one? From 1984 or the new one or the series? I still don't understand either one of them. You don't understand Muad'Dib? Well, I played the games Dune 1 and 2 back in the early 90s. I'm a huge, huge fan. Will it be good as a home game if Jersey Jack made this the proper way with worm sign and all of that? Yes. Would it do good in location? No. What? Should they make it? Yeah. Isn't all that sand going to get stuck in the switches, though? you can just clean it and wax it man wax on all right this next one would definitely work absolutely i've been saying it et the extraterrestrial phone home daniel elliott classic drawberry more put that give that back to the red hot chili peppers don't do that heroin classic would i buy it no absolutely not would be good on location i mean donnie on location you have to think about not not only old people but you know this newer generation people in their 20s 30s they're like what's et man nobody knows i mean my son had the he was at a birthday birthday party and they were like people from their 13s 14s up to their 20s who were talking and then we talked about terminator and and those teenagers are like what's terminator and i was like what you know arnold and they were like what's arnold what oh man what's going on with this generation the governor yeah sorry guys i'm going home i think it could work we're about 20 into 700 themes here yeah okay turbo all right next one scott pilgrim cool movie cool movie yeah but it's not uh no nobody knows about it it's not in today. If that comes out, the feeling will be like Avatar. I mean, who talks about Avatar? It's cool, but nobody cares anymore. I'm getting an Avatar shut up. Next one, King Kong. A one that everybody wants and is waiting on. King Kong from 1986. Oh my God, I love that one. If it's King Kong, black and white from 1933, no way, but if it's from the 80s, I would love it, love it, love it. Which King Kong movie do you like? Well, I don't know. I want Jack Black in a game. And that's the one I'm familiar from because they do Universal Rides based on it now. But I will say that if Stern does this, it's going to be 1930s King Kong because that's probably public domain and that's going to have the cheapest cost on getting the license. Yeah, they can do whatever they want with it. So rumors are saying that they're making this game and it's Keith Elwin. I just don't hope it's something black and white stuff. It's got to have a monkey on top of a building. Yeah. Empire State in the middle of the play field that crashes on flying planes. It's coming. It's on the way. So, cool. Next game. Speaking of monkeys on top of buildings, this is Die Hard, another Christmas movie. Awesome movie. I love Die Hard 1. Die Hard 2 with the planes. I love it. Actually, Die Hard 3, I also love that one. This one, they should definitely make a Die Hard. On location, yeah. It will kill on location also. I want custom. They should make all three die hard. Not four, five, six, eight, twenty. One, two, three. Classics. As long as Reggie Jean Daction, what the hell is the guy's name? The guy from Family Matters. As long as he can do the custom call outs. He was one of the cops in the movie. Oh. Winslow. What the hell? I'm blanking on it. I don't remember his name. Carl Winslow. I would buy a die hard. Absolutely. I would buy a Carl Winslow machine. All right, RoboCop. Which RoboCop? Got to be OG. Maybe throw RoboCop 2 in there just for the nuke because it's stupid. Yeah. I love RoboCop. I love the music. OCP, protect and serve. I mean, I love that. That's a top 10 theme for me on location. It would be so cool on location, man. And it's music. Oh, my God. Make this game. Drop King Kong. make Robocop. Keith Elwin, I would buy it in an instant. C-E-L-E, Super Collector, whatever, Robocop, it's on top. Would you buy a Robocop? Probably. Yeah. Oh my God. Chrome it out? Yeah. Uphold the law. Free your citizen. Alright, next up, Bandpin, Nirvana, yes. Never mind. Make it. I'll buy it. Whatever. Yeah. Some of their musics are absolutely awesome, man. Will it be good location also yes who should design this i don't really have like a dream designer for this one okay i would say jack again but do you know what who could make a cool one also steve richie yeah he could be he could make i mean actually he was very active back in the 90s and this band is from the 90s so steve rich i love awesome I love the idea of taking the Foo Fighters and turning it into an adventure game like Scooby get in the van let go fight the aliens and stuff and make it silly. That absolutely worked, and absolutely would be the wrong way to go with Nirvana. Nirvana should be just a concert in the box, take me back to 1994, and that's what it should be. Yeah, like if Elton John was rethemed to Nirvana, perfect. Yeah. Oh, yeah. Yeah. I would buy that. All right, would you buy Titanic? No. I loved the movie back then from, I think it was from 97. The movie works. When I get a new girlfriend, one of the first dates, I always put in Titanic and you will have that Netflix until night. You know how it is. Ship's not the only thing going down. All right. Yeah, but Donnie, as a pinball machine, can you see it work as a pinball machine? What should you do? I have no idea. Prevent the ship hitting the ice? You know what? I would start designing a Titanic machine, and at the end I would have a rethemed Popeye Saves the World is what it would look like. Popeye Saves the Earth. Will it be good on location? I think it will actually. Yeah, I don't know. A lot of people love this theme, love the Dion music, so yeah. It's got to be so over-engineered. This would be a good homebrew for one of the new current awesome homebrew makers to really just throw 80 mechs in there and just make it crazy. I think Titanic screams of JJP-themed game. All right. Do you even know what the Oregon Trail is? No, never heard about it. All right. It's about pioneers moving across the country from Kansas City to Oregon, right, and covered wagons and like cowboys and native americans and the blue mountains and fording your your thing across the river no but you don't know what this is this is like an america this is like hundreds of years ago if you're if you're 45 years old when you were in like second grade you were playing this on an apple 2e in the united states okay okay don't make it that now no independence day would be fun wasn't that made back in yeah it was there was an independence day yeah there's a Sega Independence Day, and I think there were only 600 made. It wasn't a success. This movie wasn't a success. This will be our Independence Day. Yeah, I think it's good. It's a fun game. There's a lot of plastic ramps in it, man. Yeah, yeah. I mean, they made an Independence 2 movie that just came and went by and was not a success. But if they make the first one, I would buy it. I was a fan of the movie back then. If you did it as a homage to Attack from Mars, I think that's what would work. Yeah, something like that. It's an okay game. Okay theme. Yeah. All right, next one. NCAA college sports. I have no idea, but if it says sports and 60-year-old old obese bald fat man, it just doesn't work. No, this is United States college basketball. Think of that. Wow. Yeah. All right. Who cares, man? Who cares? Moving on to sports. Pinball is not – some people say pinball is sport. Dude, I mean, what the heck? You're pressing it with your fingers. Yeah, I don't know. I'm playing chess. Is chess a sport? I guess. No, it's not. Come on, man. No. You have to run. You have to sweat. All right, next one. A couple of good ones coming up. Fallout. I never really played it. Oh, PC game. People like it. Fallout, cool game. I think there's better PC games to pick, and I think they're down further in the list here. Yeah, I wouldn't make that. It's a cruel game, but I don't know. This next one I've heard a couple of times, Grand Theft Auto. Oh, why haven't they made that game yet? I mean, just design it. Next year or something, Grand Theft Auto 6 will come out. I mean, just release it the same day. It's mission-based. You can collect vehicles, collect factions, move up ranks. Like, before I would do Godfather, I would do this. Don it, the music library of GTA. it's sick man when you drive those cars imagine when you start the game you can pick which radio station to listen to and like that's the put it on KJ and you can do the 80s you can do the 90s oh make that game on location it would be a killer on location would I buy it? heck yeah with my son with all the teenager friends would they play it? and they need to have some sort of bluetooth built in there and they need to have in-game mode, so they need to put in PlayStation-like controllers also and have game in the... Oh, my God, I have so many ideas for this one. It could be awesome, man. So GTA, heck yeah. All right, the next one's Godfather. I'm just going to keep moving. I like those movies, but I'm the only one defending it. So, yeah. Should Jersey Jack make a Godfather? Yeah, sure. No. All right, next one. How about FIFA Soccer? No. Absolutely no. All right. Next one. Yeah, FIFA is canceled anyway. Cheers. It's a TV show from the U.S. about a bar in Boston. Oh, I've seen one episode, two minutes. So boring. Something from the 80s. No. I have love for the show, but don't make that as a game. G.I. Joe. Make G.I. Joe. Every time you say something, I'm always thinking, is this irrelevant today? That's the most important question. Irrelevant. Is Cheers irrelevant? No. G.I. Joe? Barely. I think The Rock was in one of the recent movies. I think this will work for me. Dude, I'm not a big fan of the movies, but back in the 80s, there were cartoons and those action figures. I still have those figures in Jeeps and Tanks. I was a huge fan of that, man. That could work for me. How much of a badass is Destro, really? I mean, come on. So there's three, right? Masters of the Universe, G.I. Joe, and Thundercats. Like the big three. Here's toys. Let's try to make a cartoon about them and sell them to children. I love all three of those. I want Masters of the Universe first. Probably G.I. Joe next and then Thundercats, but it's close. Snarf. Oh, man. I remember I played with He-Man, but G.I. Joe, there were so many figures, toys you could – oh. If it makes a good play set, it can make a good pinball machine. Also, I love this next one. I was playing it last night. Castlevania video game. That's, I mean, that's, Castlevania is so popular still today. Back in the 80s, back in the 90s, and still today. Oh. What a horrible night to have a curse. Super Nintendo version. Oh, man. That's a totally, would it be good on location also? Yes. Castlevania, make it. All right, let's do five really quick here. Journey, yes or no? Yeah, make Journey. I guess. Good fellas. Much better than Godfather. I love that movie. Would it work as a pinball? I'm not sure. I love that movie. Joe Pesci is awesome there. If Joe Pesci is in it, it would make a good pinball machine. Prove me wrong. Lethal Weapon 3. Okay. Oh, yes. Home Alone. Okay. Break it. Good fellas. Come on. Casino. I think it would work. Oh, Casino is awesome. 1995. Robert De Niro. Love it. All right. Garth Brooks. What's that? He's a country music entertainer from the United States. Very popular in the 90s. I have no idea. Don't make it. Next one. Evil Dead. No. Don't make it. Do not make Evil Dead 1 and 2, but the third one. What's that one called? Army of Darkness. Yeah. Army of Darkness is so cool. I have watched that movie five times, but Evil Dead, bah. I'm not familiar. Culturally, I'm aware of Ash and all that, but I've never seen one of the movies all the way through. Dude, I love Ash, and they have made new series. I love Ash. Suck my boobs. What's his name? Bruce Campbell. I mean, he's so cool. Bubba Hotep. Small roles in newer movies still hits. I love that guy. But just Evil Dead as a pinball machine, we cannot put it up on any location. It will be so much blood and gore and now, now, now. All right, how about Goonies? Let's go to the 80s. I watched four minutes of Goonies. It was so boring. Oh, my God. You're killing me. Completely irrelevant, man. No one would play that. No one put in no quarters. Don't make that game. All right, this one's relevant. Would you buy it? Yes, this one's relevant. Fleetwood Mac. What's that? It's a band from the 70s. No. I've never heard about it. And the landslide brings me back. You'd be like, oh, okay, I've heard that. No. Children get older. It's like folk rock. Oh, my God. Yeah, no. No. Don't make it. Hope he should make it then. Oh, my God. All right, Green Day. It would work about as well as anything else I actually I enjoyed some of their songs Back in the 90s Irrelevant Scream The board game Risk Love it But as a pinball no What's Rocky Monsters Oh Rocky No Rocky man Rocky Sylvester Stallone I haven't seen him But I'm aware Rocky movies They could be cool Dude that's like top 10 for me I love it all that music Oh man Donnie You need to hear Hearts on Fire And oh that could kill On a location and I would buy the 15 SLE they would make Oh my god Only if I can deactivate Eye of the Tiger I don't ever nearly hear that song again Monsters Incorporated I mean I'd dig it That's the animated Yeah, Pixar Mike Wazowski On a location maybe Yeah, but not personal Would you buy that? Yeah, but I'm a Disney theme park guy Oh yeah, that's right Yeah, make it for Donnie How about this one? A band I've never heard of, the Wu-Tang Clan The Killer Bees All in your business I would play Old Dirty Bastard, the game And I would sell every game I own just to have that one I would love to play Wu-Tang Clan on location it will suck but credits rule everything around me cream I mean no one in the industry no one could design this game none of them are listening do you think George Gomez or Steve Ritchie is listening to Wu-Tang Clan? I know both the Wu-Tang and Steve Ritchie. Ain't no one to fuck with. I don't know. This next one, yes, relevant, yes, would be commercially successful, yes, I can't stand the theme, but it would be commercially successful. I'm talking about... It's all about family. Fast and Furious. Why haven't they made Fast and Furious? Because they've been busy making 15 films. I mean, it's just, we have the Fast and Furious arcade machines on location, and I'm telling you, Donnie, we have Fast and Furious, and next to it we have Guardians of the Galaxy pinball, and next to it we have got Iron Maiden pinball. Fast and Furious is making 30 times more money than those two pinball machines, I'm telling you. It's making, it's so cool. You don't make 15 films if you're not making money every time. It's probably the same people going out to see it every time, but so what? It's the same people going to be going to the arcade, putting money in it. I don't want this. It's not a dream theme for me at all, but commercially I see this one being successful. Absolutely. And this team of superhumans on Fast and Furious, they're stronger than X-Men. They travel to space. They can do anything, man. That's awesome. I got a bunch of D-level themes here coming. Barbie, Tetris. Barbie would be great on location, but these old, fat, obese guys, would they buy it? No. Tetris? No. Angry Birds? No. Flying Balls? Carmen Sandiego? No. What's that? It's an old computer game, and then it was a very bad children's television game show. No one cares. Deadpool, done Deadpool, done But Deadpool 3 with Wolverine Make it But it has to be the movie, Don Not all this cartoon shit And for that reason It will never happen But it did make a billion dollars Even though it's an R-rated film I would love to see them revisit And do like a movie Deadpool Dude, they could make X-Men also The movie, not all this cartoon stuff Alright, this next one I feel about it like I felt about I don't know, a bit earlier we had this stupid Which music one did I go? Whatever. Oh, Journey, yeah. Journey I didn't care about. Van Halen I care about the same. Skip Van Halen. Yeah, Nightmare on Elm Street's been done. I don't think people really want to see that. No, no. Star Trek yeah, I would like to see so many different kinds of Star Trek. I would love Spike 3, Star Trek The Next Generation. Me personally would love it. I don't know if it'd be a big seller. A remaster, do you think? Yeah, a remaster. I don't know. I just want that theme done with video clips and stuff. But if they remaster Spike 3, then they will have, you know, movie clips. Yeah. Because the shots and layout of this game, we have just got remastered Metallica. Great looking game, but shots and layout is just orbit, left ramp, right ramp, and a baster in the middle. It's so boring. This one's layout is absolutely amazing. It's a very, very easy shooting game. Yeah. Star Trek. For any beginner, start with the Star Tr ek. You will love it. And the theme integration, everything is a top-notch game. You're talking about like Star Trek movie, Stern, like 2009, or you're talking about OG Star Trek The Next Generation? White body. No, no, no. Not next gen. I'm talking about Sterns. I'm talking about next gen. I don't want next gen. Oh, you want the old from 93? You want the Williams one. How about the new Stern Star Trek layout with Star Trek The Next Generation as the theme with the clips from the TV show? Yes. My issue is I haven't watched Star Trek Next Generation, but I have watched the new movies, one, two, three, and I love the new movies. I watched them all like nine times, so I would love it. All right. Oh, the series? Yes. From the 90s? Good. I was on the Star Wars camp, so I couldn't watch Star Trek. You know how it was. Dorky stuff. All right. Speaking of, Fight Club. Irrelevant today. Back in the day, it would have been awesome. All right. Okay. Here we go. Oh, yeah. Here we go. Here's the music pin. You ready? The music pin. Slayer. Irrelevant. Ready, blood! What are you talking about, dude? Fucking Slayer. Slayer. Nobody would buy Slayer. Slayer. The cabinet's got to be dripping in blood. Old men will buy some, but nah. Slayer. All right, Call of Duty. Yeah, yeah. I'm not into it, but people probably know. For location, maybe, but no. No, skip that. All right, Beavis and Butthead. Yup. Yes! Yes. Beavis and Butthead! I mean, yes, please! That would be so cool. Predator is number one on my list, and number two is Beavis and Butthead. I love Beavis and Butthead. That's 90s for me 90s humor I'm going to say it again Jack Danger should do Beavis and Butthead This old tool shed is going to be the finest pool cabana you ever saw I would love that Yeah Fly, lesbian seagull Yeah, I mean, that'd be good work The Witcher On location, it will kill on location Oh, I would buy Beavis and Butthead in an instant Alright, how about The Witcher? no all right how about madonna no you know what when i watched when i would listen when i watch i don't listen to madonna today she's she's irrelevant but when i watched deadpool 3 and they played madonna's music i got i got goosebumps i looked at my son he was like who's bad i'm like what this music is so good i think it would work she has some good classic songs back in the 80s and 90s. Yeah, make Madonna. I don't see any way we're making it through this list. Michael Jackson. Number three on my top ten list. Make it so. Thriller alone, yeah. Yeah. I mean, if they can pay for that theme, it would be. Can you imagine on a location, Donnie, Michael Jackson? Let's, you know, let Jersey Jack make it. And don't use that guy that codes multiples constantly, but someone else. So, I mean, Steve Richards should do this and have his coder also and with those big-ass speakers and all that flashy. Oh, yeah. Lego. Oh, that's Danish, man. Do Lego. Really popular here in Denmark. All over the world. I just did a post. I was at a Lego store, and so many themed Lego sets would make good pinball machines, right? Harry Potter's there, Batman the Animated Series, all the Nintendo licenses that matter are there. All those PlayStation games the Xbox games they use with Lego you know Lego Star Wars Lego whatever Always a success And Lego already licensed these themes for consumer products So, yeah, like make it work. Voltron, hell no. That's way too old. I mean, damn Voltron. I have no idea. What is it? It's a, I guess, an anime from the 80s about giant robots and stuff. Oh, so Transformers stuff? Right, but yeah, but not, but kind of. I don't know it. Skip it. He-Man and the Masters of the Universe. Yes. That's what, yes. And the Thor. Yeah, Beastman. Grab evil in and we're going to take over Eternia. It's not a top theme for me, but it could be cool, man. On location, it won't make no money, but, yeah, I would buy it. We're going to get some good stuff here. Beetlejuice is next. Yeah, of course that would work. No, no, no. No Beetlejuice. Yes. All the Beetlejuice. Oh, my gosh. Here you go. How well do you know Kevin Smith movies? I love Kevin Smith movies. He penetrated to Denmark. Oh, I love them. I just watched Dogma the other day. Yeah. Big fan of Clerks. I love Clerks. They're awesome. His movies are just – that's our generation, Donnie. That could – I mean, us home collectors, I mean, 15 bucks, little man. Put that shit in my head. That's Newgans. All right. Yes, Newgans. Oh, Megatron. That would be awesome. All right. We're about three away from my best theme here. All right. Cars, Pixar film, Disney. Yeah. All right. It's popular. Yeah, as a location, yeah, but nah. You have to think about it. I mean, for years and years, Garriston has said, I mean, we sell to location owners, but now they have changed it. They're saying that homeowners are as important as location. And would homeowners buy this? No. Well, finger the pulse of the community here. All the kids, they'd be wanting some Dungeons & Dragons. Dungeons & Dragons. Yeah. So rumors are saying Dungeons & Dragons is on the way. Yeah. I like the theme. Would it be good on location? Yeah. And I like all magic, swords and sorcery. I mean, freaking Swords of Rage is still fun to play. Oh, yeah. Lion Man! When I think about Dungeons and Dragons, I always think about those old 80s pinball machines, like Swords of Fury, stuff like that. They just need to make some dungeons that the ball disappears under, if you know what I mean. shoot into those dungeons and rev light in there. I mean, it could be good. You're asking for a lower play field, which people love. No, please don't put lower playfields. Never. Alright, here it is. Here it is. You ready for this next one? I'm ready. National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation. Yup. Cousin Eddie. Shitter's full. If you know, you know. This is a movie released in the United States. Chevy Chase taking his family trying to do the ultimate Christmas home celebration. Unexpected relatives show up. The house blows up. Nothing works right. And the cat gets killed. If he's got nine lives, he smoked them all. If it was a successful Christmas movie from the 80s, it could work for some homeowners today, but irrelevant on location. So I would say don't make it. I would run screaming to this machine. But would it be a commercial success? I don't know. How about fucking Elden Ring? How'd this end up on there? I haven't watched it. I don't know if it's popular. Nobody talks about it. Yeah, it's a game. Make a lot of the rings instead. Yeah, yeah, yeah, please. Major League Baseball, no. No sports game. No sports game for fat, old, obese person stare. No sports games, never. All right, we got Batman. Yup. No. Futurama, yup. Futurama, isn't that, you know, Simpsons in the future stuff? Yeah, yeah, yeah. Oh, no, no, no. People love it. Please, no. Don't make Futurama. Don't make Simpsons. How about Hello Kitty? Ah, on location, yeah, but no fat people would buy that game. Like, this has to be like a gumball dispenser or something, you know. What kind of deep code are you going to have in Hello Kitty? Back to the Future. People dig it. It's supposed to be coming at some point, maybe in the next 10 years. Back to the Future should come early next year, but... I don't know. Donnie, I'm going to say something. 2025, Back to the Future, completely irrelevant. All right. I'm so sorry. All people, 60-year-old guys will be so angry right now, but in 2025, Back to the Future, irrelevant, man. Yeah. Would you buy it? I don't know. Maybe if they do another, like, a re-release of the movie, but with Timothy Charlemagne as Marty. Would you constantly listen to Power of Love? I already do. Do you? Yes. Huey Lewis, man. He was the news. I saw him back in the day. All right. I still have the 1, 2, 3 movie box up there I can see. I was a fan of the movies as a kid, but today as a pinball, nah. All right. We love Iron Maiden. We love Metallica. Do we love Megadeth? No. Do you? I did in high school, and I had the tape. Awesome. ACDC, I could see if you want to remaster it and re-release it. Yeah. Sure. They are going to remaster ACDC. That's a wreck. Yeah. I'm on a highway. My issue is when they remastered, they ignored the pro market. And the premium LE has got that stupid underplay field that just sucks. And the pros artwork instead of that underplay field with that big hit sucks. So they should, when they remaster this game, they should make a pro also. Make it so. All right, Rage Against the Machine. No, irrelevant. How would you do that? That would be weird. Formula One Racing. No. If they make Formula One, that would give red lines on the earnings. Yeah, all right. Caddyshack, a film, Bill Murray, back in the day, exploding gophers. I don't know it. You don't know it? I don't know if people know it. Frozen. Location, yeah. For us old, fat, obese people, no, absolutely not. Can you imagine being like 60 years old like, I'm getting into the fucking wizard mode on Frozen. Hell yeah. Nah, don't do it. Kiss the reindeer multiball. Watch. Here we go. All right, break. Let it go. No, but this next one, I've been saying it, man. I want this next one. Please, somebody. Breaking Bad. Oh, my God. I re-watched Breaking Bad for the second time. Love it. But is it relevant today? More so than Back to the Future. Oh, yeah. Heck, yeah. I mean, if they made this one, I would buy it in an instant. I think on location it would be awesome, man. Awesome. Would the shooter rod be just like a pile of blue meth crystals and you just pull them back? Can you imagine the call-outs, yo? I watched Jane die Yo Like you have to hit the hurry up to save her But you can just let the ball drain instead and she dies Oh yeah Whatever you're selling I'm not buying you That's a cool one man Shrek remastered No don't do it I want it so bad Remastered the old one with that mini upper play field Imagine if we never got a good Shrek game That's what sucks You said remastered. I know. If they remastered this one, nah. They should make a brand new Shrek. Brand new Shrek. How about Metroid? I love Metroid. Do that. Yeah. I mean, whoa, Metroid. With all Super Metroid. They're still making Metroid games. Oh, that could be killer theme, man. Also on location. As you play, you unlock other parts of the play field, you know? Yeah. An upgrade getting cannons and getting – you can – what's it called when he transforms to a ball? He transforms to a pinball, man. Yeah, Maru Maru, yeah. Yeah, so you could activate a Powerball, a glowing red ball that's lighter and – I think we had a video Metroid pinball game too back in the day. So, yeah. This next one I can tell you works for pinball. Are you ready for this? Yeah. Tony Hawk's Pro Skater. Yeah. I've seen that the homebrew one that looks cool it's crazy how good it works and you're a skater dude so you buy the SLE make that game for Donnie I want to control the flippers with my nose and tail on my skateboard yeah what else have I got lost here Mad Max we have Clue I can see on the screen Motley Crue, Led Zeppelin Fortnite Motley Crue? No No. Mad Max, the old movies or the new ones? I want the old ones. But would they make Future Furiosa? Okay, man. Yeah, yeah. I think Mad Max, they should make it. Motley Crue, no. Led Zeppelin, should they remaster Led Zeppelin or make new? No, neither. Stop it. I mean, Led Zeppelin, it's only half. I have played the pro version only. Oh, man. It has 40.0 on the left side. How could they release that? The right side is completely empty. I think the designer was pissed off, too, with what they made him do. I like the Immigrant song from Led Zeppelin. The music's good. And, yeah, they got done dirty. They got done dirty. Don't remake it. For me, make a new one. They're not going to remake Led Zeppelin. Get out of here. No. Fortnite. Let's play Fortnite today. Can you imagine Fortnite on a location? Crazy characters. The kids dig it. But the kids don't dig pinball, though, is the thing. no man but they will still put in that money yeah to try it out and after ball one they will walk away you don't know how many people machines where when we go up or take them out the balls are still on the trough yeah at the shooter lane and people play one ball and when they lose it they just walk away they don't know it's a three ball game weirdos it's crazy duck tales no don't do Dog Tales. Bill and Ted. Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure. Bill and Ted, I would buy it in an instant. On location, nobody knows about Bill and Ted, but I love Bill and Ted. World of Warcraft, not relevant anymore. Warhammer, same. Iron Maiden, did you say that? No, I skipped it because it's already been done. Yeah, but should they remake that? No, I mean, no, because you can get an Iron Maiden now, no problem. It was already spiked too. The thing with Metallica is They were going for high prices because it was still desirable, and it was left over from Sam or whatever. And the band wanted to have a screen because they saw what Slash was getting with Guns N' Roses, so it was like a perfect storm, right? Walking Dead, I would see that remastered before I would see him remaster in Iron Maiden. Yeah. All right. Taylor Swift, yup. Did you say Warhammer? I did, yeah. Yeah, irrelevant. Yeah, it's irrelevant. Taylor Swift, can you imagine that in a location? Do you think 60-year-old men would buy Taylor Swift? I don't think it would matter because all of the Swifties would pick them up. Yeah, man. I mean, if the back glass is when she has her ass out there in those tights, all the men would buy it. But I don't know her music. She's a country singing girl, right? She kind of started that way, but now she's just totally ruling pop. Okay. I heard she's playing man-hating music. I don't know. She looks absolutely beautiful. That's the only thing I know about Taylor Swift. Every song is like... Should they make it? Yes. Every song is like... Cool. They should make that. Mission Impossible. No. Battleship. No. The Incredibles. I would rather see that more than the other two, but I don't know if it's location. Yeah. Homeowners. No, nobody would buy it. How about Half-Life and Portal? Nope. No. Toy Story. Toy Story, if they make the first one. Yeah. Okay. The Love Boat. I have no idea. Is that music? Is that a movie? No, this is a television show from the 80s. about a... It just took place on a cruise ship. So think of... I was going to say Star Trek on a cruise ship, but that's not even what it is. It's like a weird soap opera with strange celebrity guests on a docked cruise ship. How could you explain... Totally irrelevant today. Of course, of course. How do you explain the love boat to a Danish person that has no frame of reference for it? Yeah, that's it. Fuck, man. All right, Pearl Jam? No. Superman? Yes With Christopher Reeves Diablo Diablo 2? I would buy that instead of Dungeons and Dragons, Diablo 2 We still play Diablo 2 Remastered With my son, oh my god Love it R.E.M League of Legends Better than R.E.M Who put this next one on there? The good, the bad, and the ugly Nobody fucking cares No I mean how old are these people This is something from 1966 All those people are dead That's why I think they threw in a bunch of this stuff Just to kind of obfuscate everything Yeah where the hell was I at Tomb Raider That could work Yeah I think so I'm just thinking if I'm walking through an arcade I'm not really a pinball guy But I like playing and I saw Tomb Raider I'd be like oh let me go play that Yeah, beautiful back glass. It's got to have a lot of toys and mechanisms and things in it. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Sound garden. No, absolutely not. Lion King. Oh, please, no. Absolutely not. Would you buy a Lion King pinball machine? I want to be the greatest thing no one's ever saw. Next one. I just can't wait to be king. I think it's just National Lampoon's Vacation. What's that? I can't explain what that is to you. Okay. Don't make National Lampoon. It's an 80s movie. South Park. Not remastered, but brand new with all these new episodes, 24 seasons or something. So much to pull from. Yeah. I would definitely be into it. More than I would be for Candyland. What the hell? What's Candyland? It's a board game for children. No, don't make it. Maybe you could do like a dark take on it like Alice in Wonderland, but no. Dragon Ball Z. No. X-Men we already got. Wonder Woman as a standalone. Oh, my God. Gal Gadot. That's my dream. Dream woman. Oh, that back glass. I would kiss that back glass goodnight. Gross. I would love it, man. I love her. Also, the music in Wonder Woman. Mm-hmm. Oh, no, no, no. Yeah, make that, make that. I ain't saying I wouldn't play it, but I'm not like, oh, yes, that's coming. Transformers, is there still some room in Transformers? Transformers, no remaster. Just make a brand-new Transformers, man. Why not? All right, what else we got? We got five minutes. Can we do a lightning round? Turbo. Spider-Man. Spider-Man, yes. Spider-Man, not remake. Make a new. Yeah, yeah, make a new. I hate dreams. What's Fields of Dreams? It's a Kevin Costner movie about corn and baseball. Halo. All right. Halo. Some say Halo is on the way. Nah, don't make it. NASCAR. No. Do you want NASCAR? No. I don't even want the old NASCARs. Star Wars. Yes, I can always use more Star Wars. One, two, and three. Yeah. Just pick one and make it, except for the prequels. Yeah, I meant four, five, and six. Sorry. Alien. Yes. I love Alien, man. Aliens. I love it. Terminator. Nobody likes Terminator. What? I was just baiting you there. I'm gone. I'm not a part of this show anymore. I love Terminator, man. Dude, Terminator. What's up with these next ones? Final Fantasy, Twister. Final Fantasy VII on PlayStation 1, 1997. That was magical. Yes. As a pinball machine. No. Twister, no. They're just fucking with us. Twister was a great movie back in the 90s as a pinball. We already have it. I was thinking of the game where you spin the wheel and then put your hand on blue. Oh, that's – no, don't make that. You play that with your lady after you watch Titanic. Yeah. But not on the pinball machine. You'll break the glass. Hangover. Oh, it was great in 2009, but today irrelevant. Yeah. Magic the Gathering. What would that even be? They should make that just because of Jared, but for others, just make one super early for him. Nothing else. Matrix. Nobody wants Matrix. Yes. Matrix 1 only that could be killer Matrix 1 Jersey Jack Eric Minier that could be awesome Space Invaders Space Invaders is a pinball No Black Sabbath Yup Yup. I love that I am Iron Man. War Pigs? I don't know, man. Lord of the Rings. Okay, Donnie. Lord of the Rings. Remaster or a brand new? Brand new. I don't really like... It's okay, but I want a brand new. Yeah, brand new Lord of the Rings. Yes. Yeah. Doom. Doom 1993. One of the earliest 3D shoot-em-up games on the PC. It just revolutionized the market. Doom, they should make Doom. I love it, man. Doom or Duke Nukem? Both. Okay, all right. Family Guy. Yes, dude. Do another Family Guy. New layout. Not remastered, but new Family Guy. With newer episodes. Hey, Lois. Shut up, Meg. When you dream. I love it. Hunger Games, they tried. It didn't work. They killed it. That was the right decision. It won't work as a pinball machine. Well, they were going to try to make it work, but then I guess the person that was controlling the license and approval wanted to be more about peace and harmony and doves, and it was like, get the fuck out of here. We want children eating children is what we want. forget that when you said Meg do you know where when her father says he explains why her name is Meg have you seen that episode yeah because it's short for Megatron yeah I was thinking about that the other day Megatron more than me sweet love it alright we got Eminem next Yeah, do that. That would work. We need some hip-hop stuff, man. Aladdin? I would rather play Aladdin than Lion King. Oh, come on. Aladdin? Who cares? Prince? No. Mario Brothers? Super Mario Brothers? Mario Brothers? Super Mario? Yeah, absolutely. Super Mario. Yeah, yeah. That's as good as Pokemon. I mean, Super Mario Brothers, the movie. Yeah, yeah. That's absolutely, yeah. Mickey Mouse. No thanks. Come on, Jerry, stick your finger in me. No, no Mickey Mouse. Ozzy Osbourne. We covered that kind of earlier with Black Sabbath. Nah. All right, here we go. Disneyland and Walt Disney World. Disneyland and Disney World. That would actually work as a pinball machine with all the Rams. Can you imagine the Rams? You know what they would do? And it would piss me off. They would make a Disney Parks machine, and they would include parts of Disneyland and parts of Walt Disney World, and they would be mislabeled and it would irritate me because I think Epcot could be its own pin. Disney World could be its own pin. Disneyland has to be a standalone pin because it is objectively the better park. Come at me. Yeah, but I would play some Matterhorn, Pirates of the Caribbean, some Haunted Mansion. Come on. So much in there, all the dark rides. All the corner could have some new stuff and it will have 34 rams. Yeah, it would absolutely work. Also on location. Yeah. All right. Poltergeist. You remember that from the 80s? Completely irrelevant. Legend of Zelda. I would love to play a Legend of Zelda machine. Yes. I would love a Legend of Zelda. But that needs to have role-playing games stuff in it. Okay. Yeah. I would love it. We got to bust this out to end in an hour here. One Piece. Yes or no? Location, yes. All right. Private owners, no. Clash of Clans, no. I don't know what that is. Kenny Rogers, you probably don't even know who that is. I don't know what that is. Doctor Who. No thanks. Irrelevant. Animal House. No thanks. Simpsons. No, absolutely not. Dodgeball. The movie from like 2008 or something? Yeah, not relevant. No, irrelevant. Fantastic Four has never worked. Quit trying to make it work. No. Portia. No, I don't want to play that. No. SpongeBob SquarePants. Yup, I would play that. On location, great. Metal Gear? No. I love Metal Gear 1. I love Metal Gear 2. It would seem like too much work. I already don't know what's going on in pinball machines. It's going to get crazy deep there. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles? I would like to see it done right. I would like a new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Dolly Parton, yes. Irrelevant. The savior of humanity. They're dead, Donnie. They're dead. Dolly Parton. New Dolly Parton. Dollywood, Eastern Tennessee. I'm going to take you to Dollywood, sir, and you're going to be like, I get it. All those people are dead. Dolly's not dead. I've seen her. All the people that live... She's still alive? Yes. She's in Dollywood every year, man. I go and see her. Alright. Pac-Man. What would that look like? Pink? Sure. No. Pink Floyd. Sorry. No. Pink. Sonic the Hedgehog, I think, could work. I mean, it could have crazy... If it has crazy ramps, very, very high-speed ramps, it could be cool. But Sonic, I don't know, man. National Football League, no. No. We don't need that. Misfits, yeah, I would play Misfits. Somebody do Misfits. I don't know what that is. Good. I want it. I don't know it. Next one. Snoop Dogg. Yeah. Snoop D-O-double G. Kelly King. Put it on. Yeah, kind of lower the playfields. It's like a low rider. What have we got? Major leagues, whatever. Universal Studios Monsters. Yeah, so it's like Frankenstein's monster, Dracula, Bride of Frankenstein, like the classic horror. I would love that. Like Monster Bash 2 or something. Yeah, I would love that. But like a darker Monster Bash. Yeah. Oh, yeah. Yeah, I think that would work. That's probably a real one they threw in there. Wizard of Oz. No. Wizard of Oz. Can you imagine making a pinball mission today about Wizard of Oz? Heck no. That's dumb. All right, Dr. Dre. Yeah. Dr. Dre. Oh, yeah, baby. 1992, The Chronic. Oh, yes, please. They threw Pulp Fiction here for some reason. Bon Jovi for another reason. Donnie, don't you want Pulp Fiction as a, oh, I was just about to say as a real pinball machine. Oh. But, you know, modern, you know, with rams and stuff. I would love, with movie clips. Yeah. I mean, yeah. Yes, I would. Of course I would. Oh, heck yeah. But it won't happen. Make. Nah. Bon Jovi, please don't make that. Fucking slippery when wet. Get out of here. I liked his music back then, but yeah, no. Untouchables, no. Well, no. Irrelevant. Top Gun, irrelevant. I can hear the music of Top Gun, but there's a pinball. Mortal Kombat, also not really relevant. It would be good on location, Donnie. Minecraft. Perfect. I don't know how you would make a game out of that, but yeah, I think it would do really well. I think it would be great. I think it would... That could capture the younger audience. Yeah, no kid would walk by that and not be like, oh, my God, Minecraft. Yeah, yeah. Make Minecraft. And then for me, personally, make The Office. Yes, please. Oh, I love it. Yeah, The Office, absolutely. Yep. Friends, don't make friends. Please don't make friends. What? Are you serious? If they make friends, it would be killer, man. So many people would buy it. All the wives will say, if you want to buy a new pinball machine for $13,000, buy Friends. Yeah, yeah. It's Wine 30 somewhere. So, like, Friends is a more, like, an adult cringy version of Saved by the Bell, which is also, like, cringy. I love Saved by the Bell, man. Both, both. All right. Guns and Roses. It's been done twice. I think it's done the best it can be done. Yeah, skip that. Jumanji. I think Jumanji could work as a pinball machine. Tons of modes, cool characters. Jumanji 1 and 2 What if you picked which character you were going to be at the start of the game And they all have different perks That'd be fun Grateful Dead I don't know what that is I never heard about it This is a fucking I did a whole show to explain the Grateful Dead to you Forrest Gump Jenny You can shoot the ball Jenny Okay Jenny I'll raise the AIDS baby It's perfect as a movie, but as a pinball machine, no. As a joke pinball machine, that's hilarious. Next one. I've got to fill the shrimp boat. Red Dead Redemption. Red Dead? Yeah. Cowboy theme? No. I like these next ones coming up. Kill Bill. Yes, please. I love Kill Bill. Fuck, dude. Yeah. CGC, make a Kill Bill kind of like Pulp Fiction that you did. I think it would be fun. I would love a Kill Bill, man. Yeah. Who should design Kill Bill? Move your little toe. Oh, it's got to be a pussy wagon topper. Pussy wagon? You know, the coin door and lockdown bar should be the backside of that 4x4 pussy wagon. You should see the pussy wagon when you look at that. Conan the Barbarian. I would play that any day. I mean Conan Crom Multibold I'm going to cry now Adam's Family I would like Adam's Family Adam's Family Remastered yeah absolutely Adam's Family Got a War I don't know that's popular and I would buy it also my son is really liking that theme I would do that more than I would do Finding Nemo Oh, skip finding Nemo. Do another Tron? Sure, whatever. Harry Potter? Yeah, people want that. Harry Potter? Wait, will the pinball collectors buy Harry Potter? Come on, 60-year-old fat man, will they buy Harry Potter? Of course. All we need is a podcaster to tell them it's going to be the best investment ever, and they'll buy it. Do you say it's the best investment? What? No, no, I'm not talking about me. That's not the big I will not For location it will be one of the best themes But personal I would not buy a Harry Potter I don't care You are the minority I think a lot of people would buy that Nightmare Before Christmas I would be interested in Nightmare Before Christmas I don't know it Alright We gotta have a movie weekend Cancel your date with whoever that is with Titanic I'm gonna come snuggle up and we're gonna watch National Lampoon's movies You want to do Netflix until with me? At least we'll have better movies. Hope he has snacks. John Hughes Films is on here. What did he do? Like Breakfast Club and 16 Candles and a bunch of the other 80s shit with Molly Ringwald. It wasn't. I watched it again recently. I don't get the appeal. Don't you like it? Don't you? Yeah, like back in the day there's moments of it that are awesome. But have you seen it recently? Like it's not a good film. No, I watched it back in the 80s. Like, I just watched it again, and I'm like, this is not, like, a great movie, and it's kind of cringey now. I don't know. I was planning on showing that movie to my son. He's about to be 14, and I was like, it could be good for him. Go ahead. Let me know what he thinks of it because I'm like, I watched it, and I was like, man, we, like, love this movie, but I don't get it. Parts of it, I don't know. Blade Runner. Do pinballs dream of electric sheets? I mean, can you imagine the looks, the artwork of that pinball machine if you did Blade Runner from 82? It could be cool, yeah. Somebody make it and invite me over to come see what you did. Yeah. Tom Petty in The Heartbreakers. No. I don't know what that is. Yeah, it's a... He toured with Fleetwood Mac. And then finally, finally, we're at the last one. I can't believe it. Halloween. No. Oh, shut up. Halloween's great. That won't work. Where's Predator? Nobody wanted it. What? Who made this list? Where's Predator? Terminator 2. It only said Terminator. Oh my, come on. It's cool we had Robocop, but... I can't believe we got through that list. What a monster. I mean, there are some good titles in there, but there are also some lame titles. But where is Van Damme movies? Come on! Somebody do Bloodsport. Oh my God, Bloodsport. Okay, USA. Also, where is the fifth element. I mean, that would be awesome as a pinball machine. Big Trouble in Little China. One of my favorite movies. I wonder if some of these didn't show up because other companies are working on them. They don't want to hype those up. There's probably like 20 themes in here that are potentials and probably 10 that they're doing. And they really want to gauge feedback to say like, we're kind of halfway through development on a Black Sabbath pinball. Is there even people that want it? Or should we just switch the theme right now to another Lord of the Rings. Tony, what do you think about Stern doing this move, sending off these mails and asking for a survey? What do you think about it? I love this, because the last thing you want to do is work on a machine in secret and then have it released and everybody's like, what the hell is this? Why did you guys waste time making this? Do you mean Elton John? At least Elton John came out to be a good game. Yeah. We want to buy machines that we really want, and you want to feel enthusiastic about it so if they can they need to find a way to gauge the enthusiasm of the people that are out there but if you just put out like okay here's five themes we're going to do which one do you like well then they kind of given away the five themes they're working on so they don't want to do that so i think this way allows them to actually ask people about these themes without giving away everything else they're working on because like oh over half of these are just garbage that they just threw in there just you know because right and if they were working on some sort of sports game, and when they got all these answers and it got zero votes, then they could just drop that sports game, right? I think that's a great idea, especially because of how the market's getting. It's so tight. You've got to come out with a banger that people love. Yes. Yeah. Yes. We have to get engaged in the theme. Look, when I tried John Wick, I saw what people said, but the theme, I love it. so when i played the game i was already on top of you know for me before i played the game i was like eight out of ten because of the theme and when i played it i i like john wick yeah so when you like the theme like you're already rooting for the game to be good right yeah if you don't like the theme you're like i already want i want this game to be terrible so it'll go away and so yeah that totally affects how you play it because you know there's no shot or mechanism in john wick that's revolutionary, but I dig it because I like the theme. I like the vibe it's coming with, and the new code is getting better. But standalone, yeah. It's dark. It's at night. Night scenes. Fluorescent green light. I'm thinking I'm back. Yeah. You're like, yes. Another ball for you, Jonathan. The theme is so important. my bro he wants us to play what's that chocolate factory game what's it called wonka wonka yeah i can't stand it that animation on the back glass that music that kid multiple movie yeah those kids i can't i and he says just ignore charlie he said to me yeah he said to me ignore the theme okay ignore the theme check out the shots on layout and i did you know i i removed all audio no music and that's 50 of the enjoyment yeah but shots on layout he's absolutely right that game shoots amazing awesome if that machine if that machine was predator that would be the greatest game of all time yes right yeah predator and predator music and all of that yes but as soon as I give it some volume trying to listen to those kids or... No. I just cannot. The theme is so important and Jersey Jack they do make amazing games but when they choose themes like this or Wizard of Oz or Elton John or Avatar or whatever you know, it's just so sad to see. Because with Guns N' Roses they sold like 6,000 games but what other machine did they sell so many of? none. Yeah, yeah. That's not the way, man. They need to have banger themes and just yeah, coming out with Harry Potter, that's going to sell more than 400 games. It's going to be awesome. Alright, man. Well, let us know what y'all think at what's our email address? We Are Pinball 69@gmail.com Let me hit up the cash. Am I right? Is Donnie right? Let's hear it, guys. Let's hear it. Donnie! Let's go out with some Tech N9ne. Yeah, baby. Oh, yeah. Missouri's finest, I think. He was missing from the list. Where's the Tech N9ne pinball machine? Yeah, it was on the list. You just didn't read it. I can't believe we made it through all these themes here for episode number 14 of We Are Pinball. I have a question. Yeah. Just check the volume a bit down. So last time when we recorded episode 13 When we ended that we had this 30 minute freestyle talk Yeah Did you do that? I'm working on it I gotta go hit Hit submit here Oh man you have to release all of that All that juicy talk Release it I'll do that and we'll continue With the WAP after party Oh yeah baby we're gonna do that Alright thanks everybody Bye Outro Music
