## Transcript

Both of my sons play lacrosse. It has become sort of a tradition to make an annual pilgrimage up to Mohegan Sun Casino in Uncasville Connecticut to see the indoor professional lacrosse team, the New Robert Englunds Black Wolves, play. Typically after the game was over we'd go to dinner and then make a stop in the casino's redemption arcade (more on that later). This year we got there a little early so that we could visit Mohegan Sun's new arcade bar "Game On."

Game On is Mohegan an extension of an existing Game On location near Fenway Park in Boston. It opened in June of this year underneath Mohegan's new convention center. I have to say, it is a VAST improvement over Mohegan's redemption arcade. Game On Mohegan has all sorts of cool stuff, from a row of Stern pinball machines, to shuffleboard, Super Chexx, Skee-Ball, bowling, pool and tons of arcade games. When I say arcade games, I'm not talking about redemption stuff either, I'm talking things like Golden Tee, Big Buck Hunter, driving games, arcade shooters, even some of the classics from Pac-Man - in the form of the newer Pixel Bash cabinet to Street Fighter II.

My family spent most of our time playing shuffleboard, Super Chexx and air hockey. We put a number of games in on Stern's The Walking Dead Pro. It played exactly as it should. I don't have a lot of time in on that game so I focused on it. It was really fun. The free games were set liberal enough that my son and I won a number of them. I didn't play any of the other pins, mainly because I already own Game of Thrones Pro, Ghostbusters is brutal and Star Wars was actually pretty busy - a number of other bar patrons played it while we were there.

The location had lots of tables and food, though we did not partake in any. My wife and I did, however, partake in the drinks. She had several Moscow Mule variants and I had several beers that were great.

The selection of games at Game On was excellent. For the sake of comparison, I would liken it to a Round 1 Entertainment with fewer imported Japanese games. It was what Dave & Busters should be like if it made a few smart changes. If you are headed up to the Connecticut casinos for the weekend, Game On is an excellent location to add to your list of stops.

Here's a bunch of pictures from the trip. If you're interested in more, stop by the @KnappArcade Instagram account. Thanks for reading everyone!
