## Transcript

I know what season it is, I know what episode it is, I know what season it is, that's good. Fresh. And warm. You may be fresh. Welcome everyone to Season 5, Episode 7 of the Fresh Pinball Podcast. Here we are again assembled around Zach's square table. Costco card table. Costco card table. Not Costco. Costco. Totally different. Don't want any copyright infringements here. To my right, on the board, master of the sounds, of the equalizing of the pots, of the music of the things, Mr. Kyle. How we doing, buddy? I'm doing wonderful. How are you tonight, Jeff? It was a little cold earlier when I was outside. Cold? It's like 60 degrees, dude. We just huddled together. It was fine. Cuddled a little bit. I was thinking about riding. It's fine. I was thinking about that, too, actually. And across from me, Mr. Zach Angeli. How we doing, buddy? I'm flipping fantastic. I've been playing a lot of Evil Dead and Galactic Tank Force, so, you know, doing good. I love Galactic Tank Force. I don't... I would like to meet someone who has any amount of time on a Galactic Tank Force. I think the guy sitting next to you does. Who doesn't like a Galactic Tank Force. Like, I feel like the people who don't like it, like, oh, I played it once at a show, or... I feel like the people that haven't played one that works correctly. Yeah. Like, this version of the code does help. Most games, I feel like. And to my left, Mr. Corbin Angeli. How we doing, buddy? Doing good, doing good. What do you think? Do we need to spice up the flippers on GTF? No. No. Don't, honestly. All right, all right. Because I thought about it. I don't think it needs more. It doesn't. Okay, it's not a Berrios. But I can tell you what does need more. The Hobbit. Cowbell. Dude, I think Outback Joe or whatever his name is is coming to get it tomorrow. He can do it himself then. Yeah, we've worked out a deal. But you tell him it's life-changing. Yeah. No, I'm not mentioning it. I'm not. He wanted to trade a next-gen. I was like, eh, I'm good. We've had a few of those. We don't have enough power for that. By a few of those, I mean the same one come through several times. He put in a lot of money. He had like eight grand into it or something. His next-gen? Yeah. Holy. He paid 45 and put like another 38 into it. Ooh. Do you like the pin sound and like the lasers on the phasers? There's one set of pin lights. That was it. one Penn Stadium set. Just one. Just one bar down one side. No, it's right down the middle. Unisystem Extreme Atom, I think is what it was called. Alright, so this episode is going to have, since last time we did a fairly serious episode about Gottlieb System 3s, we didn't touch at all on any of the fact checks or the normal lunacy that we kind of get into. We haven't in a while, actually. So there's a lot to get into. A lot to catch up on. It's a real loose ship around here. Yeah, I'm not going to do it all right at the beginning. I'm going to sprinkle some in as we go, but there's definitely a lot. I have some questions for you guys, too. Oh, you were throwing me off on the whole, like, 2025, 2026. Yeah, I got notes like that on my phone again. It was really, it was kind of freaky. It was freaking me out. The first thing I want to start with, I was personally, I feel attacked. Personally attacked. So remember we, the personally attacked. You guys remember we talked about the art auction that was going on With all of the Bally stuff I realized it ended like a day after it ended So did you get anything? So I went in Weeks ahead of time Created an account Added my payment information You even sent us reminders Like three days out, two days out I did I have that conversation muted on my phone These assholes will stop texting me You know the day the auction ended? Yeah. Pokemon announcement. That's what got us. That's why I looked the next morning, and that's when I realized I'd missed it. But that's not why I feel personally attacked. You didn't bid on stuff? I bid on things. Okay. Okay, so let me lay this out. You were bidding on Baby Pack, right? Baby Pack. I had some strange science stuff in there, some, like, unproduced game materials, all kinds of things. So it was pages and pages and pages, and basically... What stuff you bid on? I had a lot of stuff I bid on, because there was a lot of stuff that was hanging out at what I thought was a fair price. I mean, there was stuff when I had the last one. The deals are there. There was like Capcom stuff that was still like not bid on at all. Like Flipper Football, that was one of the ones I wanted to get in on. I'm hoping a lot of the stuff didn't sell and it shows back up. But go on with your story. So each one of the items had a $50 buyer's premium. So before you, if you bid a dollar, immediately it was $51. So that's fine. You know, like whatever. I know this going in. All good. As long as everybody else knows. I hope so. So I bid on a bunch of items. It was pretty clear. and I bid my max and then set it and forget it. I don't need to be there the minute the auction is ending, monitoring it. That's when you're going to be more likely to overpay. Impossibly. Oh, yeah, definitely. Just 10 more bucks. I forget it. The son of a bitch. Saturday morning, I log in to see, oh, did I win anything or whatever, and it tells me account suspended. Son of a bitch. They found out who you were. I don't know. They found out who you were. Maybe. Which names do you use? You know, I used to. Jeff Zac Stark? I used a couple aliases How many different accounts did you have? Not just one So I don't know what happened I didn't get an email saying why or how But I didn't get anything We told you to quit using that Johnny Knuckles account It's ridiculous I even used my legit credit card And everything I did get a call on that day About someone trying to charge something to my card Bunch of baloney So I want everyone to know If you have my strange science art We're coming to get it I'm coming for you I'm coming for you Personally I bet there's stuff they didn't sell on there I'll never know You know why I couldn't even look at the items Because my account is suspended Okay cool down It's been a hard week I'll bet You're scaring the cag-tay A lot of things happening Alright so the first item from the fact check Is apparently at the opening of the got leap system three episode i thought he was gonna say the opening of the olympics there's usually a little bit of like table talk like pre-podcast conversation that's going on before like we introduce ourselves and whatever else so apparently on the last one corbyn you said that you had quote two empty spots at the house so have the spots been filled one have one has been all right so what what were we looking at um what i still have a spot right in between Alice Cooper and Bally Harley Davidson, which I need to get out of there. It's a bad way of a jammer right there. It's the baddest. That chick on the back is really bad. Yeah, she's bad there. I did fill the spot next to Space Shuttle, which I also need to get out of there because it's been on there. Or Space Station. Space Station. That needs to go. Non-traditional bottom, and you know I'm a sucker for non-traditional bottoms. It's a good game. I brought home that Medieval Madness. Oh, yeah, you did. The first run that they did at the Stern Factory. Yeah. Nice. So that's what I've been. I brought that home. Have you jammed a few games on it? A few, yeah, yeah. How's that light board? Seems fine. Is it good? Yeah. The only thing I was wondering on, so I played, I mean, I probably only put maybe a dozen or so games, maybe 20 games on it. A few. A few. A dozen. Maybe 24. I don't know. I don't know. Anyway. So the display, when you turn it on, it's all color, right? but then it gets booted all the way and it goes to orange. So I'm thinking in the settings somewhere there must be a setting to switch. Or I wonder if it's a dip switch on it. I went through the settings but they all seemed pretty standard Valley Williams. It wasn't anything that had added. I kind of remember when it first came out that being a thing that you could do. And if anyone needs Medieval Madness off the next run. Oh yeah. We got a couple. Breaking news. Mad Pinball slash Corbin. We're going to be able to wear there. There are going to be some medieval madness Merlin editions available. So get at Corbin at MadPinball.com. Come and get them. Get one of those babies because those are pretty sexy. Yeah. Anyway, back to the story. Yeah, so I did fill that spot, and I'm just debating. Three years later. I'm just debating on what else to bring home. I have this weird dream. I talked to Margaret this week once again. Is that the market at Pinball Live? Oh, damn it, Melissa. I always fucking miss it. Oh, Melissa at Coin Taker. Okay. I'm waiting for another Alice to show up in my life. And she said it's going to ship this week. Oh, the week we're in. That's what she said on Monday. Not next week? I texted her. I emailed her on Monday, and I just said, hey, two questions, and one of them was, Zach just died. We only paid for it in November, so it'll swam in a while. Anyway, we'll see. I kind of thought if Alice in Wonderland showed up I would love to take that home Definitely Alice next to Alice It only feels right, right? I gotta get back on that Alice Cooper I don't want to wait until a week before The next show to dive in deep on it Are you thinking you're going to try to take it out to Pinbro? What's that? The Alice Cooper Or Alice in Wonderland I don't know Are you going to have either? If I have one of them working Sure, if Alice in Wonderland comes I'd take that That'd be pretty cool So from the email, I don't know if you, I mean, I read it. They don't want anything that's not a traditional pinball. So what I was reading into that was don't bring Challenger or Rotation 8. That's how I read that. So don't bring the fun stuff. That's fucking bullshit. I think space is going to be an issue. Because that was the other game. The soccer game definitely space would be an issue because that's like the place of like three or four pins. So that's definitely a consideration. It won't even be pin brew without the soccer game. if you could imagine a 35 year old man smile as they pushed I got this for $100 I think it was $200 it was $250 $250 $250 we ever spent anyway we can talk about this later yes I have all of those things on the list that we'll definitely circle back to but let's Kyle I know since pinball at the beach You said you have six at your house right now? What are your six right now? I've got some games in queue to bring to you Well, I know Because I know you said you were working on Pinbot And you did the ROM update Thank you, Pittsburgh Mike Bear So tell us everything in Chinese It's the Pinbot ROM That's what they call it 2.0 So what game is it going? It goes in Pinbot Space Station, cool Yeah, Space Station. No, but they call it, it's like PEMBOT. Oh, PEM with a M. Yeah, PEMBOT, and it's like no relation. Because he's a pimp. Yeah, that's it. PEMBOT, got it? No relation. It even has like a disclaimer at the beginning, like, player, you're on risk. You said you can switch it back to the original, just the original code if you want to. Yes. Or you can play it with the revised. Enhanced code, yeah. Enhanced. Enhanced. So what is it at? You said it adds a ball save It adds a ball save Which isn't only on the plunge Like you can Something in the rules change You can earn it Okay So like you know that dead end shot On the right hand side That like Almost always goes straight down the middle Yeah It like goes like Almost to the left flipper But then just drains A lot of times that'll trigger it Cause it knows Yeah cause it knows that That's gonna happen It's pretty cool And then there's locks They only enable two Okay It's pretty cool. So like, I mean, you guys all, everybody's played Pinbot a bunch. Tell me about this Pinbot. Is there any cool features? It's this game by this crazy duo. Yeah. I don't know. I like anything like that. Like the Pinbot ROMs, or Keith was telling us about the Pascal board that he had in his roadshow that added a bunch of functionality for when his kids were really little to add ball saves. Oh, yeah. It changed to where you started with city and stuff too, didn't it? Yeah. And then I know some of the Stern Electronics stuff, like Meteor and a few of those ones from that era, there are updated ROMs that you can put in there too. Oh, you mean System 11? Yeah. Bad Cats, I'm not the correct of it. Oh, yeah. We should bring that one up. We had a code too. We're going to talk about triangle pinball. I know. I was going to say, we're talking about code differences. For sure. Yeah. But yeah, the code update on Pinball is pretty nice. It takes it from, I'd say, a minute and a half game to a two and a half, three minute game. Okay. Oh, nice. Per ball. That passes time. Yeah, which is nice. Yeah. Because it's encouraging, actually. Instead of just getting... It's like fucking our ball drained. As opposed to discouraging. Yeah. I did see whenever I came in tonight, at least in the... It's wintertime, so I imagine not a lot of pinball going on at the Zach Angeli Brewing Company in the garage. It's closed, man. It's closed. I figured it was closed for the season. The LVAC's in there, dude. That's what I assumed, but I didn't see... I didn't think anybody was home. I was like, oh, shit. There's no games here. I didn't see any cars in the driveway. I'm worried the Camaro might be done this winter, this summer. It's actually at home. And the T-Tops leak, so it can't really sit outside. So it needs to sit inside, but I don't know. The Mary Beth, she has a convertible. This is going to be a problem. Yeah, I don't know. The Camaro trumps, I think. huh I think the Camaro trumps the convertible I'll say it I'll say it two liter ABA you've got the galactic tank force actual tank down here in the basement and then evil dead so I mean that's quite the and then there's Dracula episode one speaking of evil dead like fun house if you have not played the video mode you need to play the video mode cactus jacks we did just discover we did Star Wars Sega. Zach still listens to games off. It's Cyclone. If you haven't played the video mode on Evil Dead, it's like literally an arcade game. It's pretty fucking sweet. It's like Atari 2600 era, like literally left flipper button. You move your character up and down across a 2D screen. Your action button was the jump, and then the launch button was either use the saw or fire the shotgun. And you can use your tokens If you walk up to a game in the wild or anywhere That has tokens on it Start button and action button at the same time Yeah it'll bring up the options And one of the modes is start video mode So if you want to hear Benjamin Hackerthorn tell you That Ashley needs more shells This is the game for you Hit launch button It's pretty fun I like how they integrated the whole game That and the other Cheryl's going. Oh, yeah. Yeah, it was really cool. Flashers. The other thing that we added. The dead bar. I was just going to say, we put the dead bar on. And they had that integrated in that video mode. The dead bar is a, so I looked it up, and it cost under $100. Yeah. And I mean, what a fucking add-on. It seriously is. It brightens it up so much. And you don't see it at all. It's done very nicely. Like, you don't see the actual LEDs, but you just see it lighting it up. Right. And it's, like, I don't think it's an overly dark game, because it is. No. The theme is dark, but it does add a nice clarity. It's awesome. Nice mood lighting. Yeah, exactly. Yeah, definitely awesome. I'm hoping. It seems like they're planning on using it on everything else. Yeah. Why wouldn't you? It just makes sense. It's super simple. It's literally like three 3D-printed clamps and an LED strip. Right. But it's all in a box. And it just slips onto the backbox and some screws into it. Yeah. It jumps off the light board right back there. Perfect. The only improvement I would make on it is I would price it at $150. That way I could make $50 on it whenever we sell them. That's the only improvement I'd make. No doubt. Whenever I looked it up and I was like, they're literally just giving this away right now. That's so cheap by comparison. It's so crazy. What's the Cine Expression Lights? Oh my god. Well now they've broken it out into the side rail ones, the inner ones. I think it comes out to be like, if you want to do the whole kit and caboodle, you're at like $500 or $600. No, it's way more than that. It's not italic if you're adding them. Because I don't even think... So italics were like $600. Right. Because it's just the inside. The inside cabinet. Yeah. And not including the extra armor you have to buy now. Right. So Spike 2 was just, you had your speaker expression lights, and then your in-cabinet on premium and above. Right. You pop the things out, you put your other ones in. And then starting on spike three, you have ones that can run on the side armor inside the cabinet on all levels as well as the speaker. So, I mean, you can get deep into the lighting budget pretty fast. Pretty, pretty, pretty fast. Yeah, sure. So the cabinet expression light system is 300. Right. And you can't run the exterior ones unless you upgrade your side armor to have the laser cuts for the lights to come through. Laser beams. Is that a freaking laser beam on a freaking shark? Lasers So we're talking a little spooky here We're talking Evil Dead and all of that Jeff what's in your basement I don't have any fucking spookies So the side is 250 Yeah So it's 3550 And then you have to get the armor So you'd be at It all adds up quick It adds up quick So embarrassing story I was playing Deadpool yesterday day before, it was Sunday and I'm like, you know, I don't play this game as much as I thought I would whenever I got it, still, it's not going anywhere I love it, it's a forever game for me but I'm like, you know what, out of curiosity I'm going to see what the play count on this thing is guesses on play count on the Deadpool premium that I've had for at least two years did you buy it now? yeah, yeah, yeah I've played it maybe six times 187 games no, no, no Kyle's guessing 187 I haven't said a number yet I said 250 I personally played it like 6 times It was less than I thought it would be 140 It was 195 When I got on it on Sunday That was embarrassingly low So now I'm going to have to grind some games out on that Dude that's like a brand new game It plays great I'm sure it does What about your Godzilla I went down the line at that point because the curiosity was peak. You can't tell as easily. Right. So Godzilla was at about $2,000, which is about what I expected. And that was new from... Yeah, but you're right. No, it was not used. I did not. So this was pre-Mad Pinball. This is what started it all. I bought it from Tilt Amusements down at Cincinnati, and this is how I met Kyle because I'm going down there to get my Godzilla because a certain guy that's sitting around this table... We met on Facebook Marketplace because we were selling a Star Trek. I'm like, that looks cool. And you're like, yeah, it's cool. Was it a Cincinnati show game? It was a Cincinnati show game. So it had $300 when I got it. And so I put another $1,600 on it. That's why I got my Jurassic Park home. It is? And Jeff didn't take the fucking balls out of it. He might be getting another one back in on trade. So I was thinking you probably wanted it. If it's super cheap, I want it, yes. I thought you might. Don't trust guys you meet on the internet. That's the key, too. I don't have a game on my internet right now. $500. So those two, Star Trek LE, Ultraman, and then Strange Science. Are all your games downstairs? Do you have anything upstairs? Strange Science and Ultraman are in the upper room. Okay, okay. And I was messing around in there. It's pretty sparse. Hey, breaking news and completely not relevant to this podcast. Meow, meow, meow, meow. I sold some video games today. What'd you... I know, right? Are you okay? You know, I was in there and I was cleaning up and I'm like, you know, there are games in here. I have... Okay. The real, real here. I have like almost 2,000 physical video games. You'll never get those games back you sold. Don't you dare, Corbin. Don't you dare. You are the worst enabler of them all. Sorry. And I'm looking and I'm going, like, there are ones I will play and there are ones that I do play, but I'm going, like, there are ones here that I will never hook the system up and never play them. Oh, you're selling, like, whole systems. I didn't sell any consoles, but I sold, like, 50 GameCube games and, like, 10 duplicate Super Nintendo games that I have. Duplicate games. You know, that's how it goes sometimes. I understand. That's normally my move to sell duplicates I have. But I'm so out of it, I didn't know how to price any of this stuff or anything, so I just throw it up on Facebook Marketplace for what I thought was a fair price, and immediately it's like a freaking feeding frenzy of like, this guy drove from Columbus. So you gave him away. I feel like I may have underpriced that. If you guys are looking for games, follow Jeff. He's a real problem. He also underprices the pinballs too. They're super cheap. You should buy them. feeding Frenzy the shit out of these pinballs, people. Alien, come and get it. Come and get it. But pinball at the beach. Speaking of, what do you think that's worth? So that's a Genesis. That's the original version 1 in the box. Is that Sonic? I would put that at like $75. Somewhere in that area. Yeah, Genesis version 1 is not super desirable. Like, immediately if something says Nintendo, it's immediately worth it that's very sexy that bubble bobble right there by itself that's a pricey game the very first one I'm seeing just put a Nintendo sticker on the Genesis it's Sega Genesis by Nintendo you guys never heard about this? rare you gotta dirty the sticker up though this is unreleased undocumented I think you're looking for a prototype you ever seen the Tetris movie when he was in that room? That was like me, but with this shit. That's a good movie. Nerdgasm. Pinball at the Beach. Spooky booth. This was a thing. Can we talk about getting to Pinball at the Beach first? No, no, no. We're going to skip ahead. Here's what we're going to do. You guys ready? Pinball at the Beach. I mean, you weren't fucking there, so you don't know the story. But here are the segments I want to talk about. And this is exactly how I have it laid out. Okay, okay. The Journey. The Triangle Pinball Collective. The Event. And then the Afterglow. So we've got all the bullet points here The afterglow, what are you talking about 17 hours, Corbin and I In the fucking truck Afterglow for everybody else Yeah, on their flight back That was such a good time, Corbin was like I hopped on that plane, I was home For the Super Bowl, so I don't know what you guys were doing Breaking down games still probably Jersey Jack fucking bullshit It was so fucking heavy by the end So obviously the lead up to it was Insane of Corbin doing his Normal running around, collecting all these children. I actually was home by like 9, so it was actually one of the earlier pre-show nights for me, personally. Pre-show night scrambles of collecting the children. Normally they're a lot later. We got them all loaded. We had 15 souls on board on the way down, plus three humans. Humans. And we rolled out Wednesday morning. 9.30 or something. Probably something like that. And then you guys had a scheduled stop in Morrisville? It's basically Raleigh. It's basically Raleigh. It's basically Raleigh. At the Triangle Pinball Collective. Dude, which, what a spot. Talk about it. So we rolled in, and so in our usual fashion, the event starts at, like, the tournament starts at 7. 6.55. Oh, dude. 6.45. 15 minutes early, okay? You're 15 minutes early. Yeah, we were 15. We had everything out and set up by the time they started. We did. And they were fucking shocked, of course. No, no, super cool place. So, yeah, we roll in running behind, like, we're not even behind. Just getting there when we get there, like we do. traffic and shit and like after our like 8-9 hour journey like we get stuff so we unload all the games except for I'm gonna go get us a beer so I go up to the bar and I'm like uh three of those whatever and they're like three can we see the people that you're with like I was buying something for underage people so they made us come in and show her like I was like it's these two he's like oh okay whatever Those dudes have done super cool They'd been true dode before So they had to be Had to be careful So we unloaded there Space Hut Rotation 8 Space Hut Rotation 8 Merlin Arcade and Looney Tunes. And they wanted America's Most Haunted. Jeff promised America's Most Haunted. It was in the front of the trailer. I offered him a list of them. He chose all those games. And I totally forgot when I was loading it. And it was like, I didn't feel like rearranging things. And so we were like, let's get a beer. But we get that in there. and they would have been too tight with another game anyway. It would have crowded out rotation. Which is the last thing you want. So we got them all in there. We worked everything out because some of the stuff bounced around. We got it all good. They all played. What a spot though. I just want to say it was... The story was one of the guys told us that they were hanging out there regularly and they just had these back rooms that just had random junk and stuff in them and they were like, hey, somehow they came to the agreement that they could clean it out and put games back there. And so they had. I mean, there was one, two, three, like four little rooms or whatever. At least. At least each had four or five games in them. That one room like. Oh, it's true because it went back in because it was like bad cats. Two did that, yeah. And then you went to the next. Because the one to the right did that too. Yeah. So it was just always. It was like a weird like office setup. It felt like a house party. It did. but like the way it was set up was like obviously it was like an office area at one point you know broken there's like windows there's windows through certain areas so you could see over into the other rooms like you're like cutouts and it was it was cool though i mean they and they had very unique shit like they had there was they had a winchester house yep which like shit i mean wish we could get one of those they had um that what was the stars okay so the stars with the alternative playfield art was pretty sweet i've never been attracted to that game before until I played that one. No, the Backglass was original. I think the Backglass was... I don't remember looking at the picture of that one, but your traditional Stars one is literally... It just says Stars. It says Stars with coming across the more you know Starburst type thing. So that was cool. They had the Bad Cats that had all kinds of different code that they changed weekly on it. They had that spooky, the Zakaria spooky. Which was then again at Pinball at the Beach. which I thought was bizarre. The one there. It was so nice. It wasn't the one at the pinball. The beach wasn't nice. The guy was really pleased with the mountains not being cracked. What about the rest of the game, bro? They had some really unique cool... I think we played Dune there. There was a Dune there we played. The place was supposed to close at 9 and they stayed open until 10.30. Which was super cool. Do you follow them on Instagram? I do now, yeah. Oh, a bunch of Theater of Magic we played. The pictures that they posted the other day, because I guess this was their anniversary down there, so there were pictures of what it looked like before. Yes, yeah, yeah. And it looked exactly like what Kyle was talking about, where it was like offices or whatever, because it was like that typical nasty... I'm a commercial painter. Yeah, office carpet and whatever. I was like, from what it was to what they turned it into was like no small feat, it looks like. They had a big Stern Alley sign. Cool carpet. Yeah, they had some really cool stuff, though. It was a very cool, good spot, good people, good crowd. I think they had 50 or 60 people there. The beers were good. We were getting ready to leave. The taco truck was good. Oh, it's really good tacos. Always good tacos. We were trying to get some beer to go. The bartender comes out, and he's like, this isn't what you want. This is what you want. This is what you want. And they were. Yeah. Then he gave us a bunch of other random beers and staff discount. It was a good day. Made some shirts. Stayed right down the road. Me and Corby went on a little adventure. To get ice. to find ice. It was two hotels over was where the ice machine was. We had a little suite or whatever and we were like, man, the ice machine would be nice because we got all these beers from this place we were at. We had a fridge there but we were like, we've got to leave in the morning. We've got to drive another couple hours tomorrow. Eleven, a couple hours. We should keep the beer cold. It's like, oh, where's the ice machine? We were like, it'll be on the floor. We just take the ice tray out of the fridge. We get down to the lobby and she's like, no, it's over there. And so then we walked through another hotel. We were just committed to another. We were committed at that point, but we did find ice eventually. And then it kept our beer cold, which one then, when we rolled continuing on with our journey story, we drove the next day for a number of hours. We rolled into a number of hours. St. Pete around 830 PM. I would say it was about 830. I don't know. I thought it was later than that. I thought it was like nine 30. No, I think it was eight 30. That's it. Okay. Between eight 30 and nine. Let's say either way. Either way, within an hour, yeah. It was dark, yeah. So were you setting up games Thursday night? Yeah, we unloaded. We just wanted to get in. We wanted to get in. We just wanted to unload. Well, my thought process was because no one else was really doing much there because it was 830. And get the trailer out of the way in the back of the parking lot, too. Yeah, yeah. Because you guys got the primo spot. Yeah, because Marshall and them were, I think they had just finished unloading a truck, and they were leaving to go load again. Load again. And we were like, all right, we're going to unload three more trucks. Yeah, and so we went and we unloaded everything. We got everything on legs We just kind of got it all in place So then we're like Tomorrow we just have to go in Got the blankets off too All that It was basically It was just the spooky people And then Jason and Chris Okay So Because they weren't opening The show didn't open until Friday at 5 So it was like You had a lot of runaway Friday We had a lot of time Which we For our stuff We were good Yeah we were fine We were good Because we got down there around 10 I want to say I got down there around 10, 11 Set up level Because I'm like Let's get our stuff Everything playing Because then we had to Because then Rick and Morty wasn't ours, and we had to screw up. The Spooky Guys fixed that. Hey, Luke, this doesn't work. We had to fix a few random things. And then around noon or 1 is when we started helping the other people. Because you're looking at these games not on legs. Two Penske trucks piled up next to each other. We were piling the Penske trucks still with box trucks in the legs just everywhere. And so that's when we all went into game time mode and got everything. We owned it. It worked perfect. It did. What's that guy's name? Orvette. Yes. was a huge help. Basically, me, Corbin, and Zach were just taking games in. There was a guy directing us, put it here, put it there, put it here, put it there. And then Jason and Chris set up. And their wives, they actually were putting legs, matching legs to the games and everything. And then they had a whole bunch of other volunteers down there, which it was awesome to see it go from being a big pile of games to a show in a couple hours. What was it, probably about 80 more games that we set up? Oh, easily. The PBR Can Crusher with Tenacious D. I say we definitely have to do a talk talking about the cool stuff. I have a list of games I want to talk about. PBR was definitely on there. Shout out Deja. Sorry, Chris's wife, I forget your name. The crew down there is definitely strong. I didn't roll in until Saturday. I just zoom in like everything's set up everyone's like having a good time it shows we've been out for a day we're like yeah we're outside the parking lot because we've been we already got our fill and it's like I walk in and it's like well here there's mad pinball shirt I don't know that person wearing this mad pinball shirt where are the people I know I will say that Thursday night the cool thing too was once we got our stuff done and the speed guide people all ended up rolling and we were kind of still hanging out there And then we turned Beetlejuice on and we got to play a little, like, you know, a nice. Intimate. Yeah, have some time with everyone. And they were updating it up until, like, opening time. Yes. Like, it was definitely cool. But it was all, I mean, super cool show. I mean, we had all the spookies other than Alice Cooper, which is the whole thing. But it'll be at the next one. I'll get it figured out. Marshall had every single Insider Connected game there. We brought a Black Knight Swords of Rage. It was the only one he needed that they didn't have already locally. I was surprised. I thought of all of the games. Somebody would have it down there. They didn't have Black Knight because they had so many Aerosmith Pros. In his back shed, there was a Pro Cabinets. Aerosmith Pro Cabinets. Just in case. It was like an outside shed. It was like a pile of card board. Pile of pallets. Aerosmith Pro Cabinets. Jason's game. He bought 16 of those at least. Good Lord. Good lord. And there's 25 Aerosmith Bros. Anyone who didn't attend second year for this show, awesome show. Not your traditional like TPF or Expo or other ones to where there are a bunch of vendors everywhere. Oh, no. This is a big tent with a bunch of games. Oh, yeah. There's every Jersey Jack game too. He had every Jersey Jack game. He had all the barrels. I mean, technically all the barrels of fun games were there. So, I mean, a lot of Williams. That's a pretty good WPC showing. I would say... I was impressed. That was a big buck hunter. I thought we were going to get to play with... Oh, we almost played with him. Yeah, with... You know, what's his name? Because we saw him playing Space Hunt, too. Oh, Keith Elwin? Yeah, Elwin was playing that, but no. Who did we smoke cigarettes with? John Borg. John Borg, yeah, Borg. He's going to come play his game with us, because this would be cool. I played it with Don. I like that game. The interesting part of that show, though, is all of those people are there, but it's a completely different setting than... Scott Danesi, he signed Timmy. Thank you, guys. He walked by, and I was like, can you turn that piece of shit down? My wife looked at me like, why are you telling that guy to turn your game down? I'm like, that's the guy who designed that game. She's like, oh, that makes a lot more sense. I said the same thing to Bug. He's like, oh, the volume's broken on it. That was one of the One of the wins, I would say, when you're outside or you're anywhere in the tent, you could hear that boom. Like, it was multiple. Turn it down. Nope, can't. Oh, by the way, Jeff, we might need new speakers. Well, you know, I think we can afford it. And auto launcher. Yeah, auto plunge needs some love. Yeah, it needs love. So, very, very cool show. Did Marshall share with you if they ended up selling out all 1,000? I know they were getting close. I think he probably did. I need to call him. Yeah, it was really close. Yeah, it was at like $8.50, I know. It still didn't seem overly crowded. The only time to me that it felt crowded was Friday night, I thought. Was it Friday? Yeah, when they were open Friday night, at one point when we wandered back in, I was like, man, it's a packed city in here. And then we wandered back out. So it didn't matter to us. But other than that, I mean, Saturday when they opened. Honestly, it was just beautiful. It was literally just the spooky booth. We were just hanging out in the spooky booth. And that's when we were like, yeah, we're going back outside. But they had 12 of them. They had 12. Dude, it was... So Spooky didn't mess around. They brought the 12 Beetlejuice. I did not see a play field up on there. No. Not a single one. They updated the code a couple times, and that was about... I mean, stuck balls or whatever, but... Saturday morning, I'm sitting there fixing Challenger, and the door's open, and people were running, sprinting to Winchester, man. I gotta get that juice. We did get some good time at Winchester. I thought... I'm excited for ours. I'm just getting bitter that we don't have it yet. Yeah. We're spoiled. Don't they know? They should know. If they don't, they should. I'm going to email him more and be like, don't you know? We're from Ohio. David David Van Es did do a cool thing the other day to where he posted something on social media. They were definitely working on those. That said, for the next 30 minutes, call me and I'll talk to whoever calls on social media. So someone just called and chatted with, you know, have some ideas, pitch me your idea, have some whatever. Shoot me a game, bro. I'll keep it quick. Keep it going. Interesting. yeah overall though I mean probably I'd say one of my favorite shows one of my top shows of the year I don't want to say because we do a lot of cool shows it's just unique it's a very unique show though it feels to me very much like there's no vendors really it's truly just for the love of the pinball and getting some weird stuff there oh the Batmobile the hearse the ice cream And then Jurassic Park. He was giving us free ice cream on Sunday. Oh. He's like, you don't get to choose what you want, but it's free. Like, whatever you hand me. And that little tut-tut was out front, which was cool. For sure. I don't know. I just love how casual it is. I love how comfortable everyone is there, not just the attendees, but then also the pinball quote-unquote community, you know, the celebrities, if you will. And then, you know, just like I could bring my family and they could go to the pool or they could go and do whatever. There were all kinds of things for everybody. I was very excited about... I was very excited about... I got one. I'm good. I just lost what I was very excited about. The ice cream was good. Just the overall mix of the way that show was set up. What about the dinner we got? Oh my god. First off, I also want to say I'm fairly certain we went to a different place. No. Are you sure? we went to a place I'm positive I went to a place Zach and I went to a place for breakfast that was a breakfast joint in the morning it was like mad something at night it was like a diner kind of place mad fish we sat at the bar and I looked when I was sitting there I'm like I had one of those moments where I was like or we went there at some other point during the trip when we were down there I was convinced when we were going out for dinner that it was the same place don't get me wrong no no it was very good the same place but it was not the same place because at this place too that we ate there was a chair in the bathroom and I'm like at night time this is a fancy fucking place I think the place was called Madfish and it was like literally right in that same block because we walked to it from the next morning we walked to it when you guys went to the airport we walked to there and got breakfast and it was in the guy who was walking around the whole thing you could see the kitchen and I'm like this is I'm pretty sure and I looked at the night time menu and they had all kinds of seafood and stuff and like a really expensive steak on it and I'm like I'm just I think that might have been where we went. Should we regale the listeners with the spread? Yeah, fuck yeah. From Pinball at the Dates? Three potatoes, two steaks. It's what the steaks were, though. I honestly had even forgotten about the fries. They should have been... The truffle fries were good, but they weren't amazing. I didn't even touch the truffle fries. You didn't miss much. I went double mashed potato. I had everything. So we'll start at the bottom. The fries, they were truffle fries or whatever. They were fine fries. then we had normal mashed potatoes and then we had, what was in those high test crab and cheese there was like a lump every bite of it was I don't know how to pronounce the cheese it was delicious it was real Gouda cheddar, Gouda, I think I got those ones down so then double steak so the steak was a tomahawk 40 ounce Australian Wagyu Wagyu We're so fancy We didn't even drink our beers out of glasses in this place Nah fuck that So they came out with not frosting And then a strip steak That fucking tomahawk was Oh it was so good I enjoy that we all like We listened to the special She walks away and we were all just like So you guys I just think the right call was To not each individually like, let's get this entree, that entree. Let's communally... I always black out when they're telling the specials. I'm like... No, you told me before they even came out, you're like, Jeff, I need you to memorize these. I remember listening until like, fish, whatever, whatever. What? So, 10 out of 10. It was so good. Delicious. The family dinner. I think it was like Moritz or something. I don't know. I still don't know. It was .2 miles away from where we were. I didn't even have to pull any U-turns. You've been using it. Drive through any construction zones or anything. It was just a straight shot from where we were. Yeah, it was good. But the rest of the time, we had good food. It had a sick fucking Porsche in the parking lot. We ate at some other... Oh, that GT3. There was a Porsche there. There was a Rolls there. AMG. This was no joke. Lambo. What was the... We ate at that other seafood shack for lunch. That was good. Yeah, it was good. big shout out to Jason Jason, Deja, Chris and Chris' wife I'll figure it out by the end of it I think he emailed me something I want to shout out the lady and her husband from the hot tub that's who I want to shout out back to Chris and them we can talk about them in a second Chris and them were such a huge help Jason they were super helpful I just appreciate them That's all I wanted to say Yes the hot tub crew No no I'm good I don't think that's probably for the podcast But Corbin did fully get into the ocean He was the only one of us Jeff and I got about half way I got about to my knees and I'm like Kyle got to his toes I'm not putting the boys on ice I got up to my knees I was like fuck this I was ready to commit You were down I was the first one in the pool Nice heated pool The moral of the story is It was a nice suite We had a nice little room with a view Honestly the moral of the story is It's 2026 and we're living like a weird Like surreal dream I really appreciate that show though Because I feel like it's not just It's not just us sweaty dudes Yep With our stinky feet in there You know Whose wife or family wouldn't want to go to the beach It's an easy sell Very easy sell and it's a very nice show and the accommodations are nice. Please, Marshall. I know you're still in the throes of putting your life back together after this, but 2027, buddy. Do you think Marshall's a listener? I hope so. I'll text it to him. You guys are like texting buddies. I need to call him. I haven't called him since we left. He needed some time to catch his breath. I don't know if Corbin's ever called me. I called you. Call me back. I wanted to talk a few of my favorite games from pinball at the beach so I'm sure I'll be stealing some from you guys as well some of it take it all the good ones I'll start with one and then you guys can go to maybe some of the ones you have on the last episode we were talking about Gottliebs that had only played Gottlieb Vegas at the pinball hall of fame in Vegas you seem to be breaking up do you have a bad connection? You know, it's funny. I was listening to this morning and thought, I was like, you know, Jeff was talking about Vegas. And then there was a Gottlieb Vegas down there. Somebody bought it, too. And I played it. And I played great. Yeah, we saw him hauling it out. I enjoyed it. It's a fun game. Because they had a class of 1812 as well. So I was like, I love it. And lots of camera action. I'm down with it. Yeah. 1812 can come to my face. Okay, okay. So that's your first one. That's my first one. Okay. What do you got, Corbin? I'm pretty sure I know what direction you're going to go here. I'm trying to not be predictable on this one. He can't resist Just do it Dude I love Orbiter I love that game It's such a weird cool game It's like as we get these As we continue to get weird games That aren't good earners Or whatever but are really fun to play That one's on the list that's coming up I like playing it a lot too You could save the ball by putting up There's so much It totally turns the rules upside down On traditional pinball So you want to hear a crazy And we fixed it Do we have one getting traded in? That would be amazing but no The next best thing is happening So Rob in Toledo Glass City Pinball Just put one out on route So when we go up there for Flip for a Cure I think we need to get to know Rob a little bit more Because if he Do we know Rob? Have I met him? Maybe very briefly I've met him a couple times But definitely I think the introduction needs to be made because if he's wild enough to where he's putting an orbiter out en route, like that's the sort of people that we need to be in league with. You better be charging a dollar for that motherfucker. Better be charging $2. No, that's not going to be crazy. I knew orbiter would be on your list, and then I was blown away to see that. Yeah, Glass City Pinball up in the Toledo area put that out en route. So if you're from the area, get out there. It's on Pinball Map and all that. I think it was one of seven on location or something like that, and the other six were at pinball museums and the sort. We got to see underneath it a little bit, too, because we were helping them fix it, so that was cool. So is the play field itself is like a vacuum molded sort of situation? Yeah, it's two-piece, too. When we went to play it, I think the first time we went to play it, it's like, oh, there's a washer. But it was underneath the first one. And it's basically there's a post, so on the right side there's that spinner, and there should have been a star post there with a stud, but the nut in the washer in the bottom just floating around. Never good. That'll definitely give problems every single time. Every time. Zach, what do you got on your list? A random. The Roger Sharp shooter game. I almost saw Roger Sharp die. We did see me shit. I'm serious. We were sitting there setting up games again. Somebody had taped an extension cord down. He tripped and he just I felt so bad. Face plant. And I'm like, oh, shit. I want to stand up. Like, five guys rushed him and picked him up before he could even get off the ground. And then there's a team of people with duct tape coming out, taping the cord down. Like, no, we got it. We got it. It's good. Like, he ate shit hard, though. Yeah, we did see that. Yeah. That was. And we were. Because we had just moved to rotation eight because where we had it, we had a perfect level. And somebody else comes in and is like, can't have this here. It was right in front of where they were going to serve alcohol all weekend. $16 hot dogs. $16 one shot mixed drinks Good lord Oh yeah Did you buy any People just kept giving me tickets No I didn't use the tickets I didn't buy any Okay anyway Or trailer beers Trailer beers or free I did hear Don talking about Hanging out in trailers Oh did he What are you going to do at 3am Sometimes you just got to hang out in the trailer We didn't want to move a game to his room He threw us under That's what he wanted He's what Oh yeah Yeah Fucker Yeah he's like move a game to my room And I'm like He's like, I'm two buildings over. Like, no, we're not moving a game two buildings over. He would have had me if it was like that building. We did convince him, though, that we were sleeping in the trailer. You convinced him, yeah. He's like, you guys can come sleep in my room. We're like, dude, we're just joking. We have room. I didn't see Monica. Was Monica there? No, she wasn't there. He said that they had taken too many other trips and she had to stay home with the kids. She had to stay home and work. That's pretty much what he said. But he did say, I need to text him and remind him that he was going to hook us up with some butter stickers. Oh, yeah, Monica was going to. No, very cool. He said, I think the exact words were, I'll send you a whole case. Just email me your address. Oh, I did want to mention. That was after like 7-11 drive-thru. Of Long Island. The hookup, Spooky hooked us all up with the spooky pinball at the beach kit. Like the Hawaiian type shirt. I actually consider wearing my tracksuit. I have a PSA about this. I have a PSA, too. Don't leave your shit laying around. No, don't steal my fucking shit, you fucking assholes. If you wanted a mad pinball hoodie, I would have gave it to you. Spoiler alert, he would not have given you his Mad Pinball hoodie. No, because it's this thin one. I heard about it all weekend. This is my favorite one. No, my red one's fucked. It's a painting hoodie now. Ben's been crying about wanting one, so I've got to do this whole order thing. See, I would have just gave it to him. You're up, buddy. Just don't be a fuck. No, I agree with that. You paid like $200 to go into this show for a weekend. That's what my Mad Pinball hoodie is going to say. Hashtag don't be a dick. For years, I've been wanting this shirt. Now that I have control of this shirt Ordering this round I'll get it for one round and then gone Snatched back out Shut down Did you know, I didn't realize The guy we were playing games with on Saturday night That looked too young to be drinking Is the director of sales at you know who now I had no idea He's of all sales? Yeah, like North American I took him a beer Or three Yeah, like three, yeah. Wild. Anyway, I guess I just didn't realize he had ascended to such prominence. Moving along. Crazy times. I hear what you're saying. So, Kyle, did you name your... You didn't ask me, fucker. Yeah what your game dude You were just giving PSAs about people stealing your shit Yeah whatever No PBR Cancrusher with the alternate music Yeah I played a lot of that That was sick. That was the same guys who had a couple of the other games. They had a decent amount of games down there. Because I tried to talk to them as they were breaking it down. I already love that game layout, whatever. Just the audio package on that. Yeah, that's so cool. I saw it reportedly pop up for $5 or $55. What do we think? So $55 is about... Buy it. 55 to 6 is about the normal number on it so I don't have any money and he has like the cardboard cut out he has like some of the other extras I think it was in Tennessee do they have the crates? yeah it's on the crates I'm not going to get a well in LA if it doesn't have the crates I mean it's like Ultraban and all that where you can run the other code what about that other guy who wanted something Josh Kleinman I never forget a name he's J-Dogs Hot Dogs oh yeah because we got Jetsons from him so remember the BOL oh did you read that BOL nonsense over that playfield I'm not sending it you're going to send it Stern you're not going to send it I'm not paying for it the time and energy wasted is just mind numbing to me sometimes I don't care what the layout or what the name of that game is you can buy it and then you can put whatever music you want on it week to week even yeah for sure you know like the new black keys is coming out but load that bitch up and so what was the guy that we talked to a lot i think he was like the pin sump pin sump somnix guy okay do you remember he has like he's taller he has like he had you know what i'm talking about with you know i think i think you guys know that this podcast is audio right so yeah yeah so i believe that was one of those one of those. I think his name was Nick. And his wife were super cool. Super cool. Yeah, he was going to buy some spooky swim trunks and never came back and joined us. Yeah, that's right. He has the primers at home. Did you have to go to the restroom real quick? Yeah. I think. So for me, the import row... Oh, we'll move it back over here. Oh, Corbin and I have something we figured out while breaking down Harry Potter's. Oh, okay. About Eclipse. Is Black Hole without the lower playfield? Eclipse is Black Hole without the lower playfield. Look at the pictures I took. Yeah, you didn't know that. Do you have a picture? I don't think I really looked at Eclipse. I don't think I took good pictures of Eclipse like I have it with. That guy bought it. The J.J.P. guy bought it. Did I take a picture of it? Oh, yeah. This is where you go to the lower normally. I took a picture. Huh. I took a picture. Gottlieb. It's literally Black Hole without the... Hold on a second. Yeah, here. Okay. This is us sitting here as we were tired of breaking down JJP games. So this is where it goes down into the basement or whatever. But the rest is exactly the same. I mean, it's Black Hole, the flipper placement, the pop bumpers. We can go look. The game's out there. So the six games that they had in this row were Jolly Park. We had no clue. We're very proud of ourselves. You guys don't know anything about God Leap. Spooky, Odin Deluxe, Eclipse, and Spirit. Dude, did you see they were also running off of... They had a converter back then. Yeah. These games felt very... They were sent over in a container or whatever. They came out of the container. They showed me the pictures and I shipped them over. Yeah, and they were set up for the show because they were very... This one, the head was rat strapped on. They were asking if they needed head bolts, and I didn't have the right ones. And everything else, these people, I had. You didn't have an extra leg bolt? I offered them leg bolts, and he said they weren't the same. So Jolly Park to me. Dude, we broke down. Uh-oh. We broke, I don't know. This guy's a nice guy. Yeah, it's fine. Yeah, yeah. All I'm going to say is. Oh, Cor and I broke down and loaded our whole trailer, and Guy still had two games to go. Yeah, out of like five. He was using a little Crescent Ridge. and like at one point I helped him and somebody Mr. Crescent wrenched to take the bolts off of the yep yep yep like the adjustable one the West Virginia socket set they had Carlton socket set somebody was a couple of us were helping him break down a game the guy's like are the balls still in here and he's like yes why and we're like no reason no reason we also had a guy Should I tell him that's right? We're breaking down JJP We're breaking down the fucking JJP He starts, Corbin picks it up And the guy leans on it And leans on it And I was just like, yo dude, could you maybe just get off this for a second While we finish this up We can keep talking Did he not realize? He literally pulled his phone up and was just like Chit chat with us Yeah, it was just like, what's up dude I'd like to talk to you but If we could ever get more TNAs We could sell so many of them. They'll do a run in a wall at some point, I would think. I hope so. So that row of six was European and rare pinball specialist EuroPin. Motorhead? So mark at EuroPin.info for anyone looking for some of those crazy imports. It's cool that it was a nice spot where we had rotation aid because it did feel very much like it was in the rare weird stuff. For sure. But it was not for sale. So our working rotation aid. The only one that I'm aware of. We're not taking it to the church. I might bring it back in my house. Oh, for sure. It should always be in your house. I don't know if Anna was actually complaining about it. What? She's like, it's weird not having that table here. I'm like, I know, isn't it? You've just plugged in for ambiance. Sometimes. Why not? Sometimes. I turn my little tie for a little ambiance, yeah. Might as well. So the Jolly Park, to me, had some vibes on it from like Oktoberfest because it had like the little bumper cars on top of the pop bumpers. The back last year was very Comet to me. Yeah, for sure. So it had some inspirations there. Cobra, I don't know if you guys got on, but it had some Looney Tunes vibes to me because it had some ramps way in the back and almost the exact same placement as Looney Tunes, but no upper flippers to feed them. So that had definitely that inspiration. So on this spooky, did the owl's eyes work? I didn't notice that. I don't think they did because we asked the guy when he was setting it up, and he's like, I don't know. I've never tried them. and then we looked at them and the eyes are looking all wonky. That was super cool. Because they should have worked when you started the game. They open up and they kind of blink at you. Because that had the orange special hole. Yeah. And then had the orange special spot numbers. It's like a very interesting broken English. On this one, too, the thing that always breaks are these purple castles. Okay, that makes sense. On the top of the pop bumper, all the castles. The castles and the ramps and stuff. It's a cool looking game. It is very. I mean, the colors on it are wild. I would love to find one. What is it? What's the manufacturer? It's a car. It's a car. Yeah. Zachariah. Zachariah. I also thought, so he also, the price he had on his spirit made me think, I don't think Micah did too bad. Like, not based on those comparisons. At the time, it was like a grand. I think that's what Micah paid for his, and I'm like, Micah's is like, whenever Micah's ready to let go of his go. I mean that's That's one I would Definitely like Cause it's a cool game Yeah Somebody spilled a beer On it the other day But Did you need a Pokemon pro Pokemon I posted Pokemon Yeah Cornette Some kid called Four times Looking for meal juices Same day And he sounded like It was seven He called me the night Before too By the fourth time I'm like Dude you called me Three times already I still don't have one That wasn't me I'm like It's the same number Hung up then It's like before I could even get out But it's like oh my gosh Do you have any beetlejuices? Do you have any Pokemon LEs? No and no Maybe it was Kaneda Maybe I said no multiple times But the Sonic Odin Deluxe was an interesting one to me Not like the most wild layout ever It had some neat shots But I'm on it and I'm playing it I feel like I'm having a great game It's a six digit display 100,000, 500,000, 700,000, 900,000 And then it fucking sobs you And then it sobbed me dude I get to a million and all of a sudden a seventh digit just shows up like, and it's only a one. So then later on in the day, I'm like, Hey, Noren, like, let's try to get this to 2 million. Like what? I've got it to seven. Yeah. What happens? Like whatever we get this to 2 million and that doesn't happen. Yeah. But it was apparently when I did a little bit of digging into it, there was another one that Sonic didn't do. It was another, um, international manufacturer and it was just Odin. And then Sonic was Odin deluxe. I don't know if the extra digit got you the deluxe or what got you the deluxe. It's the cabinet. The guy told us. Okay. Because it's also like the... It's like a rapid fire cabinet. Yeah, or like the 8-ball deluxe cabinet. Yeah. So that's why they called this cabinet was the deluxe. 8-ball, L-E. Or L-E or whatever. Yeah. He was telling us about it when he was... Yeah, it makes a ton of sense. As he was setting them up, he said... Because they did the Centaur II. It's the deluxe. And I'm like, yeah, I bet it is, dude. Okay. Seems real deluxe. Eclipse wasn't on the entire time I was there, so I didn't play that one at all. I saw DJ turn it on and then turn it back off when he tried to play it. But that was my row. I don't know. I love the weird stuff. I think that's why I enjoy past times and those weird areas of Expo and whatnot, to be able to just check something out. Every time past times is doing their after dark thing, I'm like, fuck, I've got something to do this weekend. Not randomly. They're turning all the lights out. Yeah. So what, do you just play by candlelight or something? Yeah, yeah. They give you a candle. That's cool. They have one game that has Penn Stadium's Neo Geo out on Concert Galaxies, and it lights the entire facility. Everything. Elton John just fucking lights the whole thing. I would say another game that I enjoyed playing was that Black Knight 2000. Yeah. Because I never got a lot of fun. That was a fun, the four-player game. In the crowd that we had on it and everything at the time was very cool, and we had one I know traded in a while. If we got another one come through, I'd keep it next time. The one we had to trade, the one that we had in, I wouldn't have kept. Yeah, we'll get a nice one, and I would keep that game. For sure. It's one other... I mean, if there's more than one of a game, then we need to keep all of the series. There was more to it than I thought. I still think it's weird, though, just seeing these people play our games. It was real weird. What do you mean? Like who? It's almost normal to me at this point. I know, but, like, L1's over there playing Dominoes. Yeah. Like, what? I almost... So, Saturday night after, I was like, oh, I'm going back to the room or whatever, and I'm walking by and a certain someone was standing right by Challenger. I'm like, if this person gets on Challenger, I'm turning it off. But then I just went to my room instead because I wanted to behave. I played a lot of Big Buck Hunter. Big Buck Hunter. Dude, I want one of those. I love shooting that deer, dude. It's just so satisfying. When it's whipping across back and forth, like bam, bam, bam. Yes. Make on a deer. One of the only downsides, I just want to say to Pim. It's better than make on a stick, I feel like. A lot of positives, but the only downside was in comparison to some other shows were like pinsonati uh cle pen big time go all night traditional pen brew like they go all night like where you can like where you can still go back in and play games like they are pretty serious on this especially oh they're shutting them off hard oh yeah like i'm pretty good at like if if there is any option to staying late i will get to stay late in this one there was no there was no option because it was like a the the hotel staff was leaving everyone has to be out before the hotel staff leaves and they want to get off so it's it's shut down which is not a bad thing i'm not saying it's a bad thing there's plenty of other stuff to do and i respect it and everything but that is one of the only downsides because sometimes i like to stay out a little later and do whatever but here's what i'm thinking hear me out for possible future pinball at the beach if we're bringing games and by we i mean you um thank you for that power bank at the trailer and there's a game in the back pocket that just stays out at the trailer. For sure. A hundred percent. It would be easy. Parking lot party after the party. One of our upgrades that we almost did while we were there, we never got around to it, was we need to get lawn chairs for the trailer. It was one of the upgrades we needed. We also need some more like battery-powered lights. Other than, we had like the flat, like the... It was just too bright though. No mood lights and stuff. But we need like mood lighting. We had a speaker. We did have the speaker. We had other accessories out there, the cooler and whatnot. But I think next year, if we do it again, I think... bank with at least a game. A game would be key. A game out there that you can play, I would say... It's got to be something weird. Super weird. Oh, super weird, like Punny or something. Flipper Football. It's the only game left on. Six players. I don't want it to be Punny. I think Flipper Football. Something that actually works. Flipper Football, Haunted House... South Park. Yeah, I always forget that. Because those all were... Aren't they around that era? Yeah. He said he's like for maintenancing it for all these years. the deal was as long as whenever he needs to move a car we're moving for him that's the next level so we're going to e-track it out no we're going to actually fix the lights it's the truck it's the new truck no I'm still going to fix the old one so Buck Hunter I want to put a little bookend on that one so that's to me one of those games like Sega Godzilla where it's like my whole focus is I want to have all of the multi-balls stacked up and get them all at one time. So the pheasant multiball and the blah blah blah blah blah. Right, all I want is just boom boom boom. But then once you've done that one thing that there is to do in that game, it's like, eh, alright, I'm good. Because that's exactly what I did with Sega Godzilla. Like, finally once I stacked them all and got them, I'm like, alright, I did the thing. Alright, I can sell this thing now. Another random game. You see them, but Jeff, we talked about this there. What you don't see though with the topper is the original Dungeons and Dragons. Oh, I wouldn't mine come across one of those too just that's a cool game it's a real cool game because it has so the crazy tall topper but then also it has the same mechanics down at the bottom like uh hard body where instead of the flex save it's a magic save where you hit the extra flipper buttons and it is weird on that too it almost looks like it's cut off on the box yeah someone cut that off it's a weird cut it's a weird cut for sure i tried to get one like go ahead tim run the router that's exactly what he's like all I got is this chainsaw they had to use that wood to make the topper we need this much extra wood he's like I'll take it out of the bottom but the thing to look for on that game is the Borg's in the background doing something else just cheering him on but the inserts like to delaminate so all of the numbers all of the everything on all of the things that was pretty clean That one, I mean, you don't see them often with the topper in that play field. Yeah, the topper. I don't think I've ever seen one with a topper. That was – just overall to me, it wasn't your normal show up in there. While they had every insider connected game there, so the stern showing was very, very strong, it didn't feel like one of these ones where you're just getting beat over the head. There's a group of four bond pros and four bond premiums and whatever else. It was like such a variety. and accessories on some of them. It was truly like I'm just happy and appreciative and I feel very fortunate that we got to be a part of it. I just hope if they do it again we get to be a part of it again. So that would be my question. So you guys made the two day drive down. Did the show. Two day drive back. And you're saying. Long story short on the way back. It was a long fucking drive back. But we did it. Corbin and I just kept cruising. we stopped at the Tamarack though baby it was a pain in the ass it was one of the worst gas stations we'd stopped at it was not convenient we looked forward to it snack selection was terrible we didn't go up to the market they didn't even have double eagle jerky coins in them bro I did see them somewhere there there was a curtain between the guys and the girls bathroom area you just went in and went by a curtain depending on which gender you were so you were asking if we would do it again fuck yeah From everything you're saying It sounds like you would It was a good time You're at a show for three days And you're driving for four days That's an awesome commitment Stopping at the Triangle Pinball Collector Was super cool I plan on going back Whether we take games back or do something with them again I just want to go back and hang out Anytime I'm in the area I will definitely check that out So you guys set it on fire down there Because the guy who runs River City Arcade immediately messaged us afterwards. I was like, if you guys come through here again, you need to stop by at the River City Arcade and bring your awesome games. Do we know them? Yeah. He's not one of our customers. Well, let the bidding work continue. Yeah. Sorry, but right now, Triangle Pinball's got my heart, baby. Well, I mean, we do have a good contingent of both Sam, Kevin, and Ovid, all our customers. And there's other guys getting a Pokemon premium for theirs. It keeps it all in the family and everything else. That's interesting that they want us... We're living weird times. I meant to tell you that, but we've been talking about so many other things. Pokemon and everything else where it was like... That's very strange. It hadn't been at the top of my list where he was like, Oh yeah, next time you guys should stop here. It's like, do you buy your games? And help grease the wheels a little bit. Don't get me wrong. I'd love to support any of these places and check them out. but like you don't get the full us stopping and setting stuff up unless you're in on I mean it's crazy to walk into a triangle I just remember we're unloading rotation 8 and I'm like well that's not going to fit through this door and I'm like look away guys and they're like what are you talking about and I flip it on its side and fucking roll it in there I mean it's the only way next thing you know rotation 8 so yeah 10 out of 10 We take the core out, put it on top of Corbin's head. He holds it like some bananas. And then, yeah. No, I'd do it again. And I hope we get invited again to be a part of it. I, you know, it's, it's just cool to be able to do it all. It was a lot of work at the time. Sure, whatever. But that's, I don't know. We're living, it's, it's un, the other experiences that come along with it are unparalleled. I just thought it was so fucking funny, too. because everybody's just like, oh, did you guys just do that in like 10 minutes? It's like, yes. Even the speaking people were like, did you just unload 14 games in 12 minutes? Yes, yes we did. It's the way she goes. It took us longer to get into the fucking trailer. Did we tell you about when we got to the trailer? Dude, so we get down to the trailer. We lost the keys to the lock. We couldn't put the fucking keys to the lock on the trailer. So we had the keys to the side door because it was a route key. But then the back door was one of those cheap yellow ones that we had on the small thing. We had locked it up the night before the Triangle Pinball. Which is smart. Doing the right things. Before we back into the Holiday Inn, lock it up there. You can't find the fucking key. That was a Marriott. Shout out to Marriott. Thanks, Ben. I've got to get that code. So we stopped. Next day, we couldn't find the fucking keys. We got down there. We're backed up to the tent entrance. Operator key. Operator keyed the shit out of the thing. We didn't have a big enough hammer No I was trying to use the metal tire chuck But I couldn't get a good swing with it I'd like a video of that Zach's disabled Zach with his messed up thumb Yeah Zach's a little disabled Alright so I have a question for you guys So today Jason texted us About he broke a glass Have you guys ever broken a glass? I have I know we have I know you and I have I'm just asking the rest of them. You know my story, but I will tell it for podcast purposes if you guys want to hear it. Guns and Roses? Yeah. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. So, if I haven't told this story before. It's not in a traditional fashion, but you still broke it. Oh, I broke it good. Yeah, you did break it. You broke it good for sure. So in the days... And then I had to sell it for him. Before, Corbin was super involved with a lot of things. I did a lot of delivery solo. and I was doing a delivery of getting a trade-in of a Guns N' Roses limited edition. Customer's getting his, I believe. I forget what it was. It's of no consequence to the story. So it's me with my Escalera. I have the Guns N' Roses on the Escalera. I've got it strapped up. I've got it ready to go. I've gone up steps, down steps hundreds of times, no problems whatsoever. This one was a little bit of a tricky set, set where it was four steps that made like a quarter turn and then you have a full you know just a straight shot after that so i know this little quarter turn is going to be tricky with anything but you're bringing it out though bringing it out okay especially tricky with an escalera so to my own fault i asked the customer i said hey as i'm going up these four quarter turn steps can you just make sure that you have hands on it you know just to keep the weight balanced a little bit get up one step start to turn a little bit and the thing with the turn is at some point you really only have one of the climbing pegs on a step and the other one's kind of there but not kind of just hanging on get up the first step get up the second step get up the third step and all of a sudden out of the corner of my left eye i see the customer take their hands off the game and pick up their phone for a phone call and in the second that all of this registers the game loses its center of gravity, tips forward, and literally the Escalera, I hold onto the Escalera, I flip over the top of the game, let go, full Superman over the game, crash to the ground, glass explodes inside the game, bends the scrap out of the side armor, I mean, just worst nightmare of glass everywhere in this thing. It was like a complete disaster. But it was put back together Built stronger, faster, better And has a new happy home now But that was my one time breaking sheet of glass I put a bunch of hot glue on the connectants I feel like it's not in the traditional Have it disappear out of your hands version I feel like it's somewhat of a rite of passage A little bit Jason said he broke one today Happens to everyone eventually Eventually it does You mess enough glass? It's not if, it's when. That is correct. Okay, that was one of my questions. It's the only place in my entire house that has carpet. It's the game room. Strategic. Very smart. Before we move on to this next topic, I did want to make a quick shout-out to the IFPA Women's World Championships, which will be March 28th through the 29th at Lions Arcade in Lions, Colorado. They're streaming on the Ocho, right? They will be streaming. and Mad Pinball is proudly sponsoring Stacy who made it into so they took 16 it was like 16 and 16 Stacy from Pins they invited Kyle and I but we said politely declined I defined for you sorry we swagged her up with some Mad Pinball gear dropped a few bucks in her pocket and hopefully she'll maybe she'll bring home a world championship how cool would that be world champion great question You know what I'm going to ask. I knew, so I looked this up ahead of time. You get a pinball? You get a pinball machine. What? I believe it is a Metallica Remastered Premium for the winner of the women's. With expression. Nice. If she wins it, I'm going to say it now. If she wins it. Oh, wait, wait. Everyone, listen up. If she wins that Metallica Remastered Premium, we'll send her a set of expression lights. Hell yeah, you will. There it is. I just want to say it because she needs them. And if she wins it wearing that pinball gear. Oh, yeah. She's getting expression lights for that fucking pinball. Done. So that was number one. I don't know if she wants to keep it or not, but it's getting decked out. We might even consider other accessories. Open for discussion. It is. Depending on how much she wins by. I think number two was like $1,100, and then number three was $600. The big prize. It's still $600, though. Only calls if you get the pinball. But you figure if you're flying from Ohio to Colorado, hotel rooms. And if you happen to be listening, and you win the pinball, and you're not Stacey, and you happen to win anyway, we'll still reach out. We'll take care of you. Yeah, if you're listening to this. Sorry, Stacy, but you know. No, we're rooting for you, Stacy. We are rooting for you. Zach, what's that email address again? Freshpinball at gmail.com. The one that Jeff never texts. Who? I call 1 That a real number Call it Please don call So Church Arcade Pin Brew I think we touched on this lightly but I think we need to go a little more of a deeper dive Because we have a little deeper, like, real deep in dive. So, this will be the first that we're talking about this on the podcast after the first Church Arcade event that we went out and did Challenger, and Space Hunt was there, Metallica Remastered Premium, Mandalorian Premium Alien Yeah Alien Ripley was out there A whole bunch of other cool stuff They don't have a paperboy That is the most random Why should they have a paperboy I thought it was like an arcade scene They should just have it I want one and I just haven't seen it in a while Expensive We used to have one expensive We did along with everything else And Airball I love Airball Anyway so yeah we went out it was cool It was a cool spot I mean, I thought they did a really nice job. It was some of the churches you go into. Like, this is a church that had character. They kept that character. The confessionals, one of my favorite was the confessionals turned into you'd go in each door. I'm not sure how this traditionally works, but then there's a cocktail table in there, and you can play against each other. Oh, that's sick. It was pretty cool. I did like that they still had, like, the light switches and everything for the outside to show, like, hey, there are people in here right now. Occupied, baby. Occupado. so no very cool job they had music going they had the WYE do you say Y? Y beer I call them WYE sure they had that why not beer was out there slinging beers they had some food trucks they had a Korean corn dog which was very good which if you don't know what it is it was like it was a kebab it was basically cheese hot dog cheese hot dog and then so but yeah it was a cool spot so they are that's then segueing into the next part of it, taking over Pinbrew. Yeah, and pretty much for all of February, every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, they have different events and tournaments going on. So this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, they're doing like a fish theme. So the food truck is like fish fry, whatever. Is it ever fish tails? Yeah, so fish tails is there, sea witch is there. Like they're doing like a whole little thing for it. So that's the week, yeah, 20th through the 22nd of February. But then... Because it's Lent. It's Fat Tuesday. Correct. which I thought was very clever. I probably missed that while I was being... No, you're good. And then they are collaborating with the original people of Pinbrew and bringing it to the Church Arcade. Collaborating. Yeah, I prefer to collaborate. I prefer some collaboration. And that will be April 10th through the 12th. And again, that's going to be a pretty tournament-heavy show. There's a lot of details that are still kind of being fine-tuned, but will Mad Pinball be a part of that? Of course. when is the flip for a cure? March January, February, next month? correct, yes, that is in March and it's not conflicting with TPF? no, TPF is at the end of the month flip for the cure is the beginning of the month Kyle, I want to tell you, Jason said we can cross his house or whatever we need to when we go next anyway those are the pin brew dates, Church Arcade you can go to thechurcharcade.com for details, follow them on social media It's going to be a different structure. I think everyone should just be prepared for that. It's not going to be bad. It's going to be good. Change is good. It's just going to be the new 2026. I think they're going to have Dippin' Dots there because it is going to be the future, and it's going to be good. I think they're reestablishing what Pinbrew is going to be going forward, and this will be, hey, 2026 is the reboot of the continuation. Like, it was going to die otherwise. Now it's back. It's been saved. Not death is better than death. Correct. Better than nothing, I think is what you're saying. I think it'll be cool. I think it'll be a reimagining. I was actually talking to one of the mics today, and he was saying that... Which one? You know, MB. MB. And they were talking about doing tents out in the parking lot that they have for food vendors, for tables and all of that, and then also renting the Airbnb next door so they can use that grass area for tents as well. I heard they're doing an Easter egg hunt. Oh holy cow But each of the eggs are going to have Like you know like little airplane bottles in them $10,000 a piece Someone's going to have cash Someone's going to have like some Someone's going to have all kinds of stuff in it It's going to be interesting But whatever you open Someone's just going to have candy You know there's just going to be some Some James Rees's Cups and eggs or whatever I mean I still want James Rees's Cups Jelly beans and what not But someone's going to have you know whatever So I heard that is going to be part of it too So we're at an hour 20 and I'm going to ask you guys I've got a couple, I've got two more pretty decent topics and we'd be pushing some serious time here. Do we save them for the next episode and just go events or go at least one more. Leave them cliffhangers. Yeah, I got another topic I need to talk about. Yeah, go ahead. No, no, go ahead. You got two. I have one. No, yeah, hit your one. I want to hear Corbin's. I want Corbin's topic. So you guys watch the Olympics at all? Of course. Fuck no. Literally every night Tia and Nora are like at 7 o'clock get to the couch and you're watching some Olympics perfect this is great so I've been watching some Olympics myself I love the Olympics I know you do so what have you been watching what's your top preferred watch curling there's been a lot of curling action the US curling team has been doing very good curling is whatever I curled once in Finland the moguls the mogul like uh racing bull racing i don't watch that shit fuck mogul that shit looks wild did you see the four person racing on the snowboards i guess this was the first year that they've ever not seen that oh it was insane speed skating one where there's like 16 people in there and they all keep passing off the they keep pushing each other off yeah and i saw the one where australia never won a winter olympic gold some guy crashed on the final lap took out everyone else and the Australian guy passed like the entire crash was like, what about the women's, uh, the, the jump, the ski jump, the, yeah, the super whatever. So, but anyway, my, my thought was as I watch these different where I'm headed with this, you know, as I watch different sports, the different events, it's going to go into pinball Olympics. It's sort of, well, I mean, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, I just think like these different people, like the different athletes, I'm just thinking like, which ones, what do you think it'd be like to hang out with these different people? I think, for example, the big ski jump people, like a real librarian crowd. That's the vibe I'm getting. The moms of the group, you know? But then you get into some... I don't know, man. They get some fucking height, bro. They do. No, wait, no, no. I got that back. The curling chicks seem like the librarians. The curling chicks. The ski jump chicks. No, no. Ski jump chicks seem crazy. That's what I'm saying. They seem crazy. That's what I'm saying. The curling seemed calmer The jumps seemed crazier Or like the double bobsled people I'm just saying like some of these people Which one of these people would you want to have a beer with And I think it would be very interesting I have an answer for this I don't know exactly what the event is called But it's basically Cross country skiing With a gun on your back And then you stop and shoot five targets Cross country skiing That's like a five bush light guy That's a bush-like kind of guy. I'm talking the guys who lay on their back and do the... The double. The luge. Yeah, the luge. Double-decker luge. That's a crazy motherfucker right there. No, I'm not hanging out with the dudes that do the cross-country skiing and the shooting. I'm hanging out with the chicks. This Italian chick won gold, and there were 20 targets. She missed zero. Ooh, okay. There was literally some event where they were talking about... Definitely a shot. Well, they're going up against a real... The way they phrased it, they were like, oh, that Italian team is so hot. And I was just like, what? And both of us were just like, oh, like on fire. But it was just like, I mean, they were, you know. But, yeah, all kinds of things that I didn't even know were things. Dude, there's a lot of sports that I did not realize were sports. But, anyway, I've been enjoying it, and I just enjoy thinking about, like, so any listeners, if you have any, like, which Olympics team do you think would be the most fun to hang out with? That's the question. The Germans, of course. I wasn't talking about country sports specific, but probably the Germans. I'm telling you. You Volkswagen loving motherfuckers. I know, right? Were they the East Germans or the West Germans? And is North Korea in the Olympics? Every time they say Korea, I'm like, is that North Korea? No! Norrin asked the same thing. I'm telling you, cross-country skiing with the guns, I'm down. Any of the snowboarder sports. I just had never seen the racing ones. I've seen like the half pipes and the whatever else, but I've never seen where it was like heats of four. I've never seen that either. Oh, it was crazy. And the one dude was 44. I've watched zero snowboarding because it's just me. I don't want to. Makes you sad. You watch any of Jackson Hole's The Drop-In? No. I know what you're talking about. Yes, because they put a camera on the drop. Yes. Because now they do tricks at the bottom. I know. Yeah. I don't know that long jump shit is scary oh those people I looked up the speed they're going like 60 miles an hour and they're like 700 feet in the air right oh dude and they're just like laying like and you the noise they make when they shoot off I'm like is that the noise they're making are they adding that sound effect in no is that real it's like it's like yeah it's like if it were me I'd be like it was yeah but we were watching it and as like a dog sleeping right As they're coming down, there are all these tiny little trees. And I'm like, why are they killing these tiny little trees? So I had to look it up. And it was like, oh, this is how they can see visually how far they've went. It's obviously purposeful. I think it's purposeful to gauge the distance, yeah. But why are they using tiny trees? Why do they have to be killing tiny trees? It's like, what moron laid out the track right on top of these trees? What the heck? It makes no sense. That's what Tia said at first. I'm like, I don't think that's probably the case. But she had said that the main Winter Olympics Like all of the non-mountain stuff Is like many hours away from Where all the other stuff is Yeah, have you seen where they do like the zoom out of the Yeah, crazy Did you hear about the whole condom situation too? I heard they ran out or something Who do you want to hang out with? It doesn't surprise me I have a story off topic It doesn't surprise me When I went to Nationals for Division 2 It's like you got all these top level Athletes who have been Doing nothing but training They've been focusing, they've been tapering They've been working out And they're all a bunch of good looking people And they're all together and either they win or they lose Once in a lifetime they're done They're done for a while It's time to have a good time When I was in San Antonio or wherever That fucking place was wild People getting down Mattresses Anyway 10,000 condoms Gone They didn't talk about were they faulty maybe Maybe that was part of the problem They had to use multiple. Like, I don't know what the situation is. I don't know the full situation either. Anyway, so that was my Olympics gig. I do like it. It's just a fun thing to, I always enjoy watching all these random sports. I don't ever watch any sports other than the Olympics. This is my, unless I go to like an Indians game with you guys or Guardians or whatever. I think my real problem with the Olympics whenever it's like on the other side of the world is it's happening at like 2 p.m. or 3 p.m. And then they're replaying it for us at like prime time. and it's like, man, with the internet, it kind of ruins some of it. I'm not on the internet. It's not for it to be ruined, but I put my name in the lotto for the ones that are happening in a couple years out in Cali. Nice. I mean, tickets are cheap to events. It's like under $100 a ticket. Once you get the lotto to do it, you've got to get out there. But it'd be cool to go see some of these random things. For sure. Right, dude? I'd go to Cali. I don't know. Where is it at? Maybe it's near Long Beach. We can go see Gonzalo. Gonzalo's the man. Have you ever gone to any spots? Yeah. I went to Long Beach Beer Lab and Trademark the last time we were out there. I want to go see him. I talked to him today. Gonzalo's awesome. Yeah. Gonzalo's the man. Robert Rusticus, who has joysticks, is an awesome guy. Bob Wilson, who has Fast Eddie's meal on a bun, is a great dude. We have, like, for being in Ohio, we have a really awesome, like, Cali contingent of customers. It's kind of crazy to think. We do take trade-ins. It's Yeah You were talking about that house I was fighting today I'm like man I might just get another one and be done with this fucking one I was telling him about it I should send him a picture of it He would appreciate it of anyone I feel like dude you think yours is a fight right now I want to see mine Alright do we want to go down the road of Ron's Or do we want to save that for the future Alright we'll save it for a future episode I did set that game up and turn it on today We'll talk about it all in the future The final thing that I wanted to hit on My final thought here is Being out at Stern here This past week for the Pokemon preview The last time ever The last time ever I will not be invited back On deep HR Problems right now You know what your punishment is You know you have to work with Kelsey One month First and foremost I didn't realize I didn't realize that Ray Tanzer worked at Stern. No shit. How didn't I know this? Yeah, it's Ray T. Stan. Didn't we talk about this? No, he did not. They're just both named Ray. So that's someone... I'm pretty sure last episode we talked about this. Did we? Yes, we did. Where were you, Jeff? Did you even listen to our episodes? Are you here? Was I on it? Are you on drugs? I mean, I'm on a crispy coke right now. Riding that wave. Tia's going to be upset. And then I had posted about that Gottlieb cocktail, the one-on-one basketball one. and someone from Stern had commented, oh, someone who works here, one of my colleagues, is the one who owns it. So I was talking to Kyle from the tech department. I talked to him today, too. Nice. And he told me who it was. I forget the guy's name. And he's like, he worked at Gottlieb back in the day when they were closing down. It has to be Ray Tanzer. That has it? It wasn't Ray. It was somebody else. It was some other guy who's behind the scenes. And he's like, he's super grouchy, and he doesn't really like to talk to anybody. I'm like, well, if he wants to talk to someone, let me know. I'm around. Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. Did you try? My dad's good at that stuff They couldn't hear each other They just rambled for a while Next thing you know we're invited over It's good So that's my final thought It's always more interesting to me To go to those things Just in the To talk to Eddie and Pablo And Kyle and everybody in the tech department And you know Talk to these people in engineering And these people in whatever because it's so multi-generational now. A lot of the employees that work there are like, oh yeah, my dad, Eddie, my dad worked for Williams or Alex or whoever. There are a ton of people. The guy who did our tour was saying that there are some people who are third-generation pinball. I know, it's crazy, dude. It's wild times we're living in right now. So that's my final thought for this episode. Zach, do you have any final thoughts there, buddy? try go play Evil Dead's video mode yeah I just keep thinking about it one of my final thoughts since you skipped over me I was coming back to you damn dude I was going to have you be last haven't you realized that this is whatever he wants wild animals around this table I'm saying one of my things I just wanted to say was and you can come back to me no this is it you're going to get muted I didn't realize Evil Dead sell for like money now. Oh, yeah. 18k, 19k, depending on... Are we talking about events? Yeah, of course. Okay. Well, final thoughts before events? What do you got? That feels out of order. What do you got? We're on events now, right? Yeah. I don't know. What do we have coming up? I don't have anything. You can't say, are we doing events? Make sure we cover them. Look at me for the dates. So tomorrow, Finney's League is going to be happening. Yeah, I'll be there. Wednesday nights. Just go down to Finney's. Check it out. I was there last week. Wednesday's at 7. Jeff won't post this until Saturday. You never know, but it's every Wednesday. You never know what you're going to see. Literally, Corbin. We did. Everybody was like, ooh. It was interesting for like a minute. Three minutes, probably. Yeah, yeah. That's why I said all three minutes. Monday the 23rd at quarter up is quarter up Mondays. The lineup there is always being refreshed and changing. I think we're taking something new there this week. So I highly encourage... Perfect Four. Perfect Four is going this week. Very cool. I highly encourage everyone... Because it'll fit in the trailer. Just check it out. In another pinball of sorts. You will dead. You will dead. I need to give you the tag for that trailer because it's expiring. So when I see you next. Groovy, thanks. I'm buying a new one. It's going to happen. In the meantime, it's probably good to be legal. Yeah, yeah, yeah, whatever. Not that we'll break lights with that truck or anything. Oh my God. So Wednesdays, Finney's at 7 Quarter up Mondays at 7 We have the Church Arcade Having their fish fry event For Lent, the 20th, 21st And 22nd No, no, no, this is legit like perch Fish sticks? Is it our anniversary yet? We will not be there the 21st Shout out, Cokes We got the big event That's not a public event I said shout out and then we get into March Corbin we're already we're going to be looking at Flip for the Cure up with our friends Jason Kratzer and family buy some hoodies buy some shirts they're for the cause pretty much all I mean the majority the very very large majority of it is going to for the cause so definitely support even if you can't attend the event you can go to madpinball.com and pick yourself up a t-shirt or a hoodie Just select that you want it shipped to you through a t-shirt cannon And Corbin will get it right away I don't understand why people don't choose that option more I have an option now too Like if you're in New York You can use a potato cannon And we can shoot it to Canada Oh, that's cool Yeah, it's much closer And then at the end of the month I believe it's the 19th through the 22nd Is the Texas Pinball Festival It's not really the end of the month End-ish, third week Is there another one after that? Yeah, I think we're going to be somewhat I felt like you were committing to some things today I think I have one of them sold I figure I'll do two and we'll just go out But if we're getting these games shipped in I think he's going to let us keep the musketeers So, talk about it a little bit Yeah, we're getting some space hunts shipped in So if you are thinking about a space hunt especially a classic This is the opportunity If you want one, this is the chance There's currently six space hunts in the country. Four elegances, two classics. We're getting another two, seven and eight, bringing in classic and elegance. Elegance. Mad Pinball and Hex is taking care of the tariffs coming in, and we're taking care of the freight bringing into the country. So this is the time where you can get a steal. What are you talking, like 12 grand? Oh, less. Email. 12 is going to be like what you're looking for around 12 for normal. like this is going to be sub 10 basically for like for a class for the classic yeah it's going to be awesome yeah yeah so i mean this is if you want one if you've played it if you think it's cool this is your chance to get one for sure um wow this feels really salesy but the other more important exciting the more important part is they're also bringing the musketeers with them is gonna be the first i think public showing as far as i know they haven't even showed us he sent us some like little sneaky like tip of the dick pig but not like the full thing For TPF. Yeah, he's bringing it to TPF. And I think there's a good chance. I've been trying to lay the groundwork that maybe we just get to keep it over here to simplify things. That is correct. So we'll see. Ship it back to Ohio. Very exciting times. So that might be around then, too. That's the easy part. Yeah, oh, yeah. Is Charlie Sheen going to be on the backlash? If he's not, I've got a cardboard cutout. We can make things happen. Oh, my goodness. Final thoughts, Kyle? Play more pinball. I'm so glad that it's almost not fucking winter anymore. I heard we're getting a Beetlejuice soon. They haven't confirmed that, but I'm going to just put it out there in the world. It's happening. I'm going to win sometime this year. We were invoiced for number 36. That was pre-Pinball at the Beach. Correct. So the games are being built. The games are moving. Things are happening. They're showing up on locations. They're at shows. We will most certainly have one by Pinbrew time, if not two. I'd like to get six. Honestly I'd like to get a nice contingent of them And then after the show get them out to our show game customers To kind of start to get that Get that all moving I'm one of those people You're more in the December timeline there buddy boy You keep saying this shit But I know the owners I know a guy I had a beer with him once Alright that's all I've got Any other final thoughts Mr. Corbin? No I just want to say that the Electric Playground has a lot of exciting stuff coming. Things we can't talk about. No, I'm just saying, pay attention to them. They got some cool stuff coming from them. Shout out to Ron. I was just going to say, at American. What's up, Ron? They're legitimate at American. There's some very exciting stuff happening if you're paying attention. Legitimate at Electric Playground, too. I'm just saying, sometimes I think in the past, I can say for myself, I've talked about American and it was like Ugh you know Berrios it's like I love it And I think it's cool and it's you know Oh yeah did I tell you about the whole Bourbon beer thing You started to but I don't think we Talked to completion So she wanted to pay us for whatever and I was like I just need four tickets And be allowed to put up you know Be advertised with the rest of your stuff And she was like so I think we're good on that deal Very nice so that'll be at Formerly Canal Park in Akron and Corbin's taking over Akron right now between River City Tattoo and Bourbons and Brew and Quarter Up and all that. He's running for mayor, so everybody be ready for that. Don't you have to be a resident of Summit County for that? He has a second home. You have a house over there? We'll figure it out. We'll make it happen. Nice trailer. Whatever we have to do. The wide baby. Yeah, baby. Next episode, we'll have a little trailer talk and truck talk update, and then Corbin's epic adventure into snowbound Western PA. Oh, it's a story. It's a story worth telling. Shout out to the 2012 Chevy. 15. Oh, 15. Into 15. I will say, I just want to say, now that we got back with it, we left town with about 210, 211 on the odometer, 211,000 miles. We got back, and we're over 213 now. 213,000 miles, baby. Hauling fucking 16 games back. Eastbound and down. Keep them truckers trucking. Full course. My final, final thought I will say, though. We did run the Texarkana. Yeah. The black truck for sure. The classic, though, whenever we were over at the church and I parked in the legit snow drift and then put it into four low. Oh, the classic. It has good tires on it. When you get the snow and shit, the classic, you ain't got no. Yeah, because we plowed that one, so that one's good. All right, Kyle. If you want to play us out here with the Mad Pinball Jingle With lyrics With lyrics You want me to sing? He's going to make me sing Go ahead and sing I was humming this the other day when I was doing laundry If you're singing you've got to do it word for word though Playing pinball with my dad This is actually Don Harrison singing Peter, Penco, Matt and Paul Top of spots, they've got them all They've got them all Call 1-800-MATTIFALL It's a real cult number, please call 8-4 words that rhyme with all Peter, Penco, Matt and Paul Fresh Pimple
