trying to destroy the world which is funny in one sense because we would rather have her playing a game where somebody is trying to bring about the end of the world then play a game where women have been sexualized so that's one and two I'm really happy that the game is a doesn't doesn't sexual to sexualize a character and it's beautiful this is just one of my favorite games and on top of that I love the fact that my daughter enjoys it she really likes the music she likes how easy it is to get into a multiball and get back out but it is also funny that my wife and I love the one aspect about it and that my daughter likes it in addition to the fact that it's also called TNA on top or referred to constantly as TNA out of yeah it's just I feel like there's a lot of irony in there and and I go over the head at one of the blog posts so not like all those valley girls in the 70s and 80s must have been real cold through those models back in Chicago cuz you are not wrong it's it's gotta be really hard and this is one of the things that I feel like it's difficult as a guy in pinball to to empathize with it all for for women but I you go to a tournament where there's any older games and and and it's it's just it objectifies women all the time and I I can't I can't imagine how uncomfortable that must be and how difficult it must be for to even get women to in general to appreciate and make it past that hurdle I guess because once you're in the community I feel like most communities are probably cool and the games themselves are amazing but that's just something I I imagine is is a struggle and why things like bells and chimes and the the women's tournaments associated with the IFPI IFP a and and their their own association exists in the first place it's just anything to help get the up 50% of the world more involved in the sport is great different time different time yeah I think she's on a suicide mission to reset the timeline and save the past somehow t-rex that is it it wasn't getting as much bounce as it should going to the going to the other side because it was flexing the the flexing the plastic so I ended up replacing that and that resolved that issue the other thing would be to make sure that I think the flipper isn't touching the the back I don't know enough about t2 to know if it has if it's like really close to one of those little mini rails back behind that the flipper can rest on or if it hits something it it allows it the flexibility to go down and I guess make sure it's tight outside of that there are people in chat who are much better at fixing pinball machines than me rune word says could be old rubber dirty play field or depends on what you're trying to have dead bounce or something extra screwy like you sing right yeah I mean and I and we also are just about ready to destroy our second reactor the goal is to destroy all nine reactors in this game and it's a pretty simple rule set which is hit the grid up here in order to hack the nuclear reactors start the new nuclear reactor by hitting it into the scoop hit it up into the middle get it to bounce around a bunch to overheat the reactor and then hit some random number of shots to destroy it you just have to do that nine times acid funeral thank you very much for that follow and welcome to the stream let's see if we can get right into a multiball and that will put a play field multiplier in place and let's see if we can do our crazy thing there that did not happen there we go okay so we had a ball saved that just ran out we're just gonna hit that shot right there slow things down so that way I can start taking taking potshots at the grid in the center and lose a ball instantaneously that's also why the grid is super dangerous and you kinda only want to do it there we're at 30 as you can see up at the top left so now we're gonna hit that left orbit again and try and hit oh my god just get there yes all right so third reactor is now overheated and it's ready to be destroyed there's one who I will take that so now we hit one destroy over here it's random as to which shots are going to be lit destroy but the number of shots to destroy will be consistent with the reactor that you're on so we had three lits now we have two left one here and the a and rad let's see if we can hit the destroy over there apparently we can't we can backhand it but it's a really tight shot obviously that was we're gonna call that one opposed transfer nice and easy just gonna take our time I guess I'll go for the a and maybe we can ricochet off the a into this stuff I play heroes of the storm and pinball and I only ever stream really pinball I've tried branching out it's just nowhere near as fun because I really really love pinball but I've been playing baba is you now that da Ciotti tascioni welcome to the stream but now that da co t is on mentioning puzzle games Baba is you might be one of my favorite games of all time and on top of that I got my wife hooked my wife loves doing things like trying to she wants to become kind of like a professional lock-picker so for Christmas one year I got her an increasing increasingly difficult set of locks for her to figure out lock-picking and got her the books and all the cool gear whenever we play D&D or any kind of role-playing game she always plays the rogue who likes to break into stuff and does she watch the lock-picking lawyer I love that I have not heard of it but I showed her Baba is you and explain kind of how you mess with the rules a little bit in that game and she got hooked was playing it till 2:00 in the morning the other night and had to set it down has not been able to pick it back up since for fear of getting hooked and playing it again till the wee hours and we have a six-year-old that my wife who is an amazing mother is is ultimately in charge of while I work and and right now especially of all time she needs what little patience she has left to make it through every day since we have been socially isolated now for I think going on three weeks it feels like six years anyway the regular master of lock-picking is such a it is kick-ass peanut absolutely lock-picking lawyer is the best pencil okay so I'm gonna have to tell Jessica about I've not heard it is that on Netflix by any chance or Amazon and we love pinball 90% of pinball when you drink seven beers then you were immune against Corona okay by the way I was talking about Corona the beer not Corona the YouTube okay that works YouTube channel we can I'm fairly certain there's an app for that on the Apple TV alright let's keep things going over here we're on ball three we need to start up reactor four just catching back up so we have completed these three reactors four is the active one and right now we have to complete the grid that means that we need one two three four five six shots on the grid in order to unlock the fourth reactor which will then I will allow if we can start it by hitting the scoop and then overload things up on the top and then finally hit the four randomly assigned destroy targets and dr. jorde oh it is super colorful it's customized a bit it has some itched Greenglass on it and then I just went through and replaced all the rubbers with UV reflective rubbers inside of it I've also got a pin stadium I've got the pin stadium extreme streamer lights on it right now but I'm gonna like permanently embed some pin stadium lights on the inside which have flashers that the UV reflective rubbers will will respond to so kind of excited about that to make it even a little bit more reflective so going back to the game rather than focusing on hitting the grid which is very dangerous shot the ricochet path on that is often gonna put it right down the middle I'm not gonna do that and instead I'm gonna focus on getting into multiball and and then in multiball while you have a ten second ball save timer focus on trying to hit the grid as much as possible and hopefully start the reactor before the multiball ends that's kind of how I try and tackle this we just joined your discord and follow you on twitter we love pinball thank you that's probably why my phone just buzzed a second ago so what I just said about ricochets ignore that apparently that first shot if you hit it on the left side a little bit is just as equally dangerous as hitting the grid up the middle oh yeah total nuclear annihilation is a pretty table to watch people play I can't remember who first introduced me to it loan mouse wolf once that's just fun to say it like rolls off the tongue nicely it it is so much fun and what's great about it I'm gonna switch here for a second but what's so great about this table is that actually I'm gonna switch back um is is it simplicity the music which I can turn up the music here but the bass is a little loud on it apparently I I'm messed with the wrong dial when I tried to pull it back a little bit the other night and I turned up the bass I don't know why that made it sound why that made it less loud by turning up the bass that's weird now that I think of it but anyway um it's a really simple set of rules very easily explainable there's not a ton going on on the play field so when you bring people over who aren't into pinball this is kind of the perfect machine to get them into it it's beautiful it is very colorful it has amazing sounds it also has a retro kind of synth Wave theme to it which i think is really popular right now it has a stealing mechanic and on top of all of that you can play it co-op so everybody works together to try and destroy your 9 reactors or you can play to v2 if you want to make it competitive with a team aspect to it or if you want to go completely competitive you can then steal locks from your opponents if you're playing a multi-person game it is it hands down I think it's like the ultimate party game for pinball because of all of those components and how they come together so yeah and there's gonna be two count em two tables tomorrow yeah speaking about that tomorrow is gonna be really interesting tomorrow it is a we just hit 700 followers so we're doing a trans light giveaway tomorrow and - we're doing it duel so I can't have people over right and we've had to go figure out some of the technology to allow it the same kind of high-quality streaming but from different locations so tomorrow MPT 3k and I are gonna duel on total nuclear annihilation x' he's got a physical virtual table if that makes sense it's a physical table that he has custom bill that plays virtual pinball games and he has access to total nuclear annihilation so we've got an entire stream figured out where we're dueling and the pince omni ike who mentioned that just a minute ago is his center and he is gonna be commentating on on the play tomorrow so it should be super fun i think last night we work through a lot of the technical details of making it around the delay between three different people streaming from three different locations and getting it all to come out seemingly without without any kind of delay or issue that's the that's the hope for tomorrow night and then i think we have another duel planned on Jurassic Park on Thursday and then at some point in the near future I got a duel all not amiss again who also has a Jurassic Park and oh I know those virtual tables played one myself at a con they're really high-tech in a weird way they are and on top of that MPT three K has spent six years custom building his so it has actual flippers to simulate the feel of flipping like when you do this there's a tactile sensation you get associated with that it has a real tilt Bob in it it has so much it it's as close as you can get to feeling like you're playing a real pinball machine while it's still being virtual so anyway let's keep going here [Music] really want to get those locks going right now so we're up top this isn't doing a ton for back up into the top nope nice and easy finally getting it off to the right this is great because I should be able to lock that shot very easily and get another attempt too soft plunge it up into the though it's one-dimensional has a simplicity and a depth to it that has kept me coming back for over a year consistently at least I think once a week if not more my favorite slingshot Bank is starting outside of our comfort zones and figure out new technologies to try and create situations where maybe we can do things together but do it virtually together and we've done just that we've figured out how to have multiple streamers all stream within the same stream without partner status and doing the the team stuff that which offers so we have we did a test of that last week with MPT 3k tomorrow we're doing a duel on TNA so same game but there's gonna be a virtual TNA versus a physical TNA with a third party commentator who will also be on stream and then we're gonna try and shoot to do something similar like that again in the near future with Jedi McMuffin I think that's on Thursday tentatively scheduled for Thursday and then we have I think follow-up duels with with other streamers as well so I know we love pinball was interested and all nonnamous as well and we just got to put all in a few minutes ago who is actually it built into the software on this game how cool is that so
