## Analysis

Cary Hardy reacts to Haggis Pinball's newly released Centaur Revisited trailer, having prior knowledge that Centaur was the next title. He analyzes the Beast Edition and Orblivion Edition variants, noting significant visual upgrades including RGB lighting, digital displays, improved toppers, and red underglow compared to the original. Production is limited to 250 Beast and 50 Orblivion units, with details about code differences between editions still forthcoming in a future video.

### Key Claims

- [HIGH] Haggis is making 250 Beast Edition and 50 Orblivion Edition machines of Centaur Revisited — _Clearly stated in the trailer shown; Cary reads the production numbers directly from the video_
- [MEDIUM] The Beast Edition does not have an apron display, only the Orblivion Edition does — _Cary states 'I don't think the Beast Edition had the apron so it's not going to have the 2.0 code' but later notes uncertainty and mentions information will be covered in future video_
- [HIGH] Centaur Revisited features RGB lighting, a major upgrade from the original black/white/warm LED setup — _Cary observes RGB immediately in the Queen's Chamber with strobing effects shown in trailer_
- [HIGH] The game maintains the black, white, and red playfield color scheme — _Cary confirms 'they stayed with the black white and red playfield' based on Jason's comment and video observation_
- [HIGH] Red underglow is present on the Centaur Revisited machines — _Cary observes red underglow on the ground and underneath the cabinet in the trailer footage_

## Transcript

Well, you guys have no idea how difficult it was to not tell you that it was in fact Centaur that Haggis was revisiting. Now just so we're clear, I have not seen the footage for what the game actually looks like. I merely just was aware of what their next title was going to be. So whenever it showed Centaur Revisited, Haggis has posted a new video that was like 10 minutes ago. All I've done is basically get things set up right here for recording. And I'm going to watch it along right here with you guys. I can't guarantee you I'm going to have a reaction to it because I like to just kind of focus and see what this thing is going to look like. And we'll just go from there. I don't think that's too loud. Oh man. So here we go All right, so we've spent the first 15 seconds of this get into the damn thing Beast Edition I was wondering what they're gonna call it I am a monster. Okay, so already we have RGB. So that is something that I can immediately tell you right there. This game is usually very black and white. Or if you have gone with your warm LEDs, that's what you've got. So we have got RGB already through this. So this is already looking pretty nifty. And I have the power. I'll turn you into So the Queen's Chamber right there, they've got the strobing lights over here in the Queen's Chamber. This looks pretty nifty right here. I'm liking the way that looks. A slave and a cow I am a half-man I mean, honestly, the game, and I don't know, I'm going to assume this is a song that they have done. This is not like a licensed music or anything. That's partially why I'm stopping this, guys. And I know how it could be annoying if you just want to watch the trailer in its entirety. I will put a link in the description down below if you would like to watch that. Feel free to come back here and we can go through this. So the game, honestly, you wouldn't be able to tell as of right now with a great deal that it's revisited. Which is a good thing, obviously, because people want this game to look and feel like it did, but only be new. So as of right now, I'm just mainly seeing lighting as being the differential on the difference between this game and your original. So let's see what we got. Shoot for the queen This has probably got to be their original song. Okay, so I'm kind of curious if this is part of the music of the pin. Because at first I was like, okay, this song's kind of iffy. But now you're bringing in the rock. So that sounds kind of cool. The display down there on the apron obviously is a big tell that this is a revisited The game so far looks pretty damn good oh they gonna show that topper hold on no that better not just be a tease and that it we're gonna go back to that that's all they show that it's gonna be a little upsetting so that's why i'm gonna try to make sure we get this in the video in case you guys want a good view of that That's all we've got at the topper right now. They may go into better detail, so I'll let it play. Oblivion Edition. Edit going on right here. Evidently, I can't read. So it's not Oblivion. It's Orb-livion? Orb-livion Edition? I didn't catch that. I'm sorry. So throughout this video, I'm going to be calling it the Oblivion Edition. It's actually Orblivion, which makes sense due to the fact you have to spell ORBS as one of the main things in the game. Continue the video. Okay. Oh, man. Haggis, I'm telling you, you guys are... Shit. All right. so we've also got side art along with of course the laser etching on the side rails bad move human hold on i've got us i haven't even finished watching this guys and give me a minute i've got to send this video to my buddy jason all right so maybe we'll get we'll get feedback from jason here let's continue watching it sorry oh the drops are black black and silver color play field with side art oh my god it's looking so damn sexy the sound of the cyborg oh look how shiny that is too guys Oh, and Jason, we redid your play field in case you're watching this. We almost made your rails look as shiny as this, but damn. Damn. Just so we're clear as of right now, Haggis, your camera work on this, You're showing the game. I can obviously still tell the game looks really good. I don't know how I feel about the whole spiraling around thing with this. I don't know. It's just me. But, okay, camera work is a little kind of iffy on it, but you're still showing what the game looks like, and it's freaking beautiful. So there is the topper for the Oblivion Edition. And it, of course, looks a little better. Yes, we're seeing, you know, the simple art with layered plastics. It's colored art. But it looks pretty cool. I'm kind of curious to see what it does with the game. Oh! We've got some of the plasma effects going on behind her. Where am I getting notes of this Oh, this is, is this like a Rammstein? This is what I'm feeling that this is, guys. This song sounds very Du Hoft familiar to me, so. So that kind of gives you a look of the toppers side by side and the size difference and on them and everything. Oh, my God. Oh, my God. 250 games, but what's the oblivion? 50? You sons of bitches. Why? Why? Prototype machine shown, so... Begin or be in the past. Oh my gosh. The game looks freaking beautiful. I mean... the Oblivion editions are gone. 50 of those, they're friggin' gone. I'm not even going to try, guys. There's no way. And we could go deeper into this. I feel like this definitely needs to be a separate video on my feelings about buying this game opposed to mixing it to my reaction to what the game looks like. So look forward to another video about me buying Centaur. continuing on with this though so haggis the games look beautiful beast edition and oblivion but oblivion obviously takes it to the next level of just oh you make it so difficult to turn down i i'm i'm hoping that you're going to regret only doing 250 of the beast and only 50 of the oblivion but i think with the numbers that you're putting out as of right now as we speak then that's what you have to do i mean if you were able to pump out games like really quickly then i think you would definitely need to do more than 250 and the 50 for the oblivion so this is merely showing off what the game's aesthetics are which is what we all go by firstly whenever a game is revealed so i feel like this definitely showed off what the game looks like i would have liked you know some slower pans over pan overs with the side art uh the cabinet and everything but this is mainly showing off the play field which is what you're obviously going to be looking at majority of the time when you own this game anyways i i don't think it has it but i feel like this game should have some red underglow i did it have it in there let me rewind back but i don't think I mean it's got red lighting but I don't think it's for the game I think they merely have red lighting on the back of it just to add to the effect of the game and what it looks like and everything and here's a let's see what Jason has to say guys okay so I haven't read it yet but this guy is a big Centaur fan alright he owns an original we redid the play field and everything on his it's one of his favorite games man that looks beautifully done glad they stayed with the black white and red playfield i don know if he has seen the oblivion on that video yet let me question that he like yep so there you go guys i guess i know you watching this uh jason who a big centaur fan says it's beautifully done so i mean i i don't think there was any doubts that you guys would craft a beautiful game that is not the question here but so red underglow definitely would go great with this game. We do not know what the code is going to be like, the 2.0 code for the Oblivion Edition. I don't think the Beast Edition had the apron so it's not going to have the 2.0 code. Let me just confirm this real quick. Another edit. As of after recording this, guys, and going through the editing, a bunch of information has been divulged and shown to all of us out there comparing the beast to the orblivion so I'm well aware that there are differences now and what it has and what it does not have but that will be in a future video so you don't need to comment letting me know that which one has what I know look forward to that the next video back to this one no it looks like the apron on this one's got the got the display in it but these could be like they said it's prototypes so you i don't think we're i don't know if we're going to be getting the 2.0 code with both versions but probably because as you've recently seen with the fathom they made it to where the people that bought the other edition that they had could turn theirs into a mermaid edition with extra money of course and everything so they may just be doing away with that thing and just making it to where the different editions merely are aesthetics so the color play field the topper uh probably a sound system or something like that that's going to be the main changes but damn guys this game looks damn good so as of right now all we've got is merely aesthetics on what this game looks like you know my feelings on it the game looks damn beautiful um like i said look forward to video mine i may even put it together tomorrow going over more in deep uh about their games releasing and how they're doing on that and just you know quick heads up how long do you think it's going to be till we get this game let me know what you think about this game in the comments section down below and i mean they probably have it posted on their website i mean comments are turned off do they have a link to their website haggis come on guys while the credits roll let's watch this again to see if we see anything else we'll just kind of go through this here hold up let me rewind back and get you some audio so it does look like that under the cabinet right here we may have red underglow i see it on the ground too so good job haggis it looks like you're doing what this game needs and red underglow underneath shining onto the floor i'm kind of curious of what all is going to be like reflecting onto the floor and everything how that's going to look and i don't know if the beast edition has that as well but uh damn it the game looks freaking good i'm curious as to what artist or what group did the music for this i mean you have to agree with me that this does sound like rammstein curious if that's going to be the music in the game or not which honestly i feel like would be better than the single tone that this game typically has so um will we be able to see this soon probably not
