## Transcript

Hello and welcome to the Classic Finals from Free Place Florida 2019. This is Karl DeAngelo and joining me is Jason Wardrick. How are you doing, Jason? Hey, okay. Hi there, everybody. So, this is the first game, first match, first group, top group. Watching Alberto play a victory. This was chosen by Andrew. And so, I assume Alberto chose to go first. Oh, wow. So, I didn't get to play any Classic. I didn't either. So I don't know much about this game, but I was just told it's about checkpoints. So there's a series of checkpoints you want to go to. Checkpoint 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, all the way up to 7. Correct. I don't have much time on this game. I don't think I've ever played this game in a tournament. And then those targets in the middle advance your bonus multiplier. So let's see if we can see the checkpoints. Checkpoint 1 is... Oh, man, it's not working. Oh, my touchscreen's not working. I'll try to fix that. Oh, got rid of that. Not a good idea. Nice spinner shot. Oh, a little gimper right there. All right, we've got one. Let's see, where's two? Can I find it? No. This is going to be fun. All right, Chad, just stay along with us. But, yeah, it's all about the checkpoint to hurry up after you get to seventh, I believe. Nice shot. Oh, nice combo. The fuel targets are not working. You dropped targets. So there's 100,000 on that ramp that he's shooting, I believe. Yes, that was 100,000 points. So you can grind out there. You can do other stuff. That's kind of a good thing, because then Eric Stone would be hitting those targets all day up there. Here, Jason, move over just a hair. Hey, guys, how's it going? Good, you? I'm all right. I'm just going to take a break from all that qualifying stress. Yeah. Did you play classic? No, I did not. I wasted enough money in the mains. All right. Looks like we're on victory. Nice save. Oh, that went. Oh, wow. Right back in the flunger lane. Nice shot. Oh, another great big. Nice big there. That's strange, is it not registered? The checkpoint one shot. Oh, beautiful drop catch. I had to waste money He is on free play. No, I had to buy so many entries. Excellent ball by Alberto. Alberto gets things rolling with 1.2 million. Alberto dropping bombs. Alberto bombs. And I believe up steps Andrew Rosa II. Of course, the son of the other Andrew Rosa. And I believe Andrew Rosa placed third at this year's Pinberg. That's correct, yeah. And it was a phenomenal performance and a great representation of the youth division. That's right. That's the best part. Alright, now that one registered. Checkpoint one. Now checkpoint two will be... It's touchscreen is not working. But it's the right spinner where it says spin out. I'll try and get it up. I'm just going to do some stuff for a moment. Oh! Top right there. I actually remember when I was little, for Christmas one year for my Wii. Come back. My grandparents gave me the Pinball Hall of Fame Gottlieb collection for video games. And I actually remember playing Victory on it. Oh, zombie ball right there. Why don't you just come forth? Alright, looks like Baren just drained up the left out lane and now comes up Vince. Those spinners are some big targets on this game as well as the checkpoints. Hello, hello. Are we back? We should be back now. We should be back. Had a little computer issues. It's someone hit the power earlier and it's been a little wonky since. So we missed a couple balls. A couple games, but camera we show we got Andrew Rosa second. He is at checkpoint number six. What? For check point number six, he needs to hit this target right here. He needs to hit that target. Sounds like we got a good game going. Is that your mic? Am I muted? No. You're good. Okay. Looks like there's been a double roll on volley. Nice. Nice. By, looks like Jeff Palmer. $245,900. All right, so we see Andrew here. He's doing the hurry up, checkpoint hurry up. And he's got $3.1 million, which is very nice. Here it comes. All right, checkpoint one. No, he didn't quite get it, huh? He didn't quite get it. Right, I have to go over. You got a hit right here, and I think there's a little hole up here. Right. You have to lock it in for it to actually count. But here's another chance it's coming back down. Oh. That checkpoint one is a very, very difficult shot. All right, so the hurry up is over now. So he has to go and relight all seven checkpoints if he wants to get back into that? Or is this a shoot? Well, checkpoint number one is. So, yes, he started over. And there are seven. Right, seven checkpoints. There are seven checkpoints. there's checkpoint one which is through here and here checkpoint two is this spinner is right in here checkpoint three when the ball look don't want to draw on ben granger's head but when the ball's in here it'll come up here and checkpoint three is that shot all right not the ramp it's the right orbit and checkpoint four is just this rollover right here number five there's a target right here number six there's a target right here and number seven is this rollover all right and you have to hit them all in order of course and it is no easy task Also, the lights that spell finished right here, that is your multiplier, your bonus X multiplier. And, yes, you can go back into the shooter lane on the right side. Yeah, that's a very interesting geometry there. Yeah, 80's Premier Gottlieb has some unusual layouts. Oh yeah, no question. Wow, whoa. That was good. Alright, ball's up there. Balls up there, going to kick out to the bottom right flipper. Going to project point one I'm assuming. Oh wow. Nudges it right back into the shooter lane to keep his chances alive. They are currently on ball two. Looks like Andrew Rosa, too, is in the lead with 3.2 million. Alberto Santana. What's that? I'm sorry. Alberto Santana is at player one, is second place. And Ben Granger just moved into currently third place. And Vince is currently sitting at fourth. That looked like an attempted tap pass. Uh-oh, look out Yes, that was a tap pass From a Gottlieb Premier game And wow, right back to the shooter And that's like his Third or fourth time in the shooter lane This ball Call it luck or call it skill skill is more positive and complimentary so you're shooting for the ramp to get the hundred thousand right when when this is lit there's a time where it's only ten thousand there's a time when it's one hundred thousand and whichever time it is lit on is when you're going to stay many shots at that And when the 2X is lit here, I believe that spinner will be double, too. Now we have Vince stepping up. And there's the ramp to the bottom right. He's going for it. Now, since we've been watching this, I haven't seen a single person successfully make the one. Or did Andrew make it at the very beginning? Andrew, yeah. He's got it. And Vince has a checkpoint hurry-up. He's counting down. He was just sitting there. It's a good time out. But it is very, I don't know if there's a target right here or a hole, but you actually have to thread that needle right in there. Right. And then there, in the shooter lane again. All right, so does the ride out lane actually drain anybody? It can if you're unlucky. Much like the Jersey Jet Pirates of the Caribbean or the Simpsons pinball party. Man, another reject there. Welcome to the Gottlieb Premier Victory Hour, where you'll see many missed shots at checkpoint one, and that's about all you're going to see. The thing is, they don't look like missed shots. I mean, they're going up that lane, they're just not completing the... They're not completing the Checkpoint target And that is It's easier said than done folks It is a very difficult shot And L.B. is just stepping up for his final ball in this game And he's got the hurry up ready to go Did he get it? No No he didn't get it He didn't quite get it in there Oh my god After some amazement we're all going out for drinks This is going to be it Nice shot at it It is rotten right now Disappointed, Alberto walks away And up steps Andrew Russell II Step it up to ball three. Andrew's got to be feeling pretty confident. I would think so, yeah. Of course, especially of how this is playing. All right, look at that. So there's a foster. And boom, right to number two. Right into number two in one combo. And now he'll aim right here. Right there. Okay, yeah, medium. And now... Look at these hurry-ups. Number four. Number four is the left pass, the left in lane. He's probably going up top and hitting that ramp. That's probably the safest route. There he goes. Here comes number four. Boom, number four. And number five, that target directly across. Excellent play. So, technically, you can almost complete all the checkpoints in one combo, really almost. It's going to be tough. You've got to hit the one, come it down to the end lane, the number two, upper play field, the number three. I thought that was a good one. All right. Alley pass to number four, come down, hit number five, then hit number six, and way past the six. Well, Andrew finishes his game with 5,662,100 points. A very great score on this game. And we have Ben Granger stepping up, and it looks like we have Jason Werdrick coming back from his game. So how'd you do, Jason? The devil did his magic on me, and I didn't do much of that. Man, that devil's there. I've wasted too much time on that game. I'm happy I'm sitting at 1,400,000. I think it was what I finished with. That's my best score on it. Yeah, I got a 1-7, and I'm trying to better that. I know I can, but the devil ain't having my way. Wow, Andrew blew that up. 5 mil, huh? Wow. That was a nice tap pass. Yeah, Ben's been doing good. Very nice tap passes on this game. And we have been watching with great hesitation and stress as many tried to attempt that number one checkpoint shot. It would just go through that lane and rattle out of that saucer. What game is this? This is Victory by Gottlieb Premier. Victory. And Ben taking a moment, breathing. Probably because he's not wearing his shades earlier. He was rocking some sunglasses. I was calling him Stevie Granger. What I think he's going to do, he's just rocking those spinners when they're lit. There's of course two spinners on the game. There's here and here. And when the spin out is lit, I believe they're worth 10,000 a spin. And what's the 2x linking over there at the, well it was linking on the upper left one, excuse me. I believe that it'll double your award when you go up here, which I think when you launch it in there, you'll get 100,000 points. So when you get it doubled, I believe it'll be 200,000. And 100,000 points is no joke on this guy. Oh, does he get them? Yes. He passes Alberto by 34,000 points almost. And Vance is looking at ball three with a, got a hill to climb. Oh. Bitch. Trying to do the same with that. A little frustration. It's kind of your last one there. It looks like Andrew Rosa the second walks out of that victory with a victory. And we take a look at the quarterfinal classics standings. It will be Andrew Rosa with four points, or three points. Ben will get two, Alberto one and Vince zero. And we have game one of three of Grand Slam. It looks like Bob Caldwell got the win, followed by Luke Nahonyek and Jeff Chielas and Josh Huck. And on the flip of a card, Don came out with a win, three points, followed by Fred Richardson, Derek Price, and Mike Tedesco. And group four on the game of Jacks Open, we had Zach Sharp the winner, followed by Eric Stone, Bob Matthews, and Alex Hyman. And while Carl comes up, moving the camera. If you're just tuning in, we're here at the Free Play Florida 2019 Classics Quarterfinals Playoffs. It is currently 7.41 p.m. where we are. And everyone in the main tournament is sitting anxiously and with great anxiety. in order to qualify for the mains, which end at 12 o'clock midnight tonight. And it looks like we're heading over to Grand Slam. And I believe this is only a two-player game, so we'll see the first two players up first, followed by the next two players. And it looks like Alberto is stepping up. and I actually don't know too much about Grand Slam, so I will try to do my best. I'm going to have to leave you here. I'm going to play up on trying. Okay, Jason, go kill him. So from what I understand, there's a third flipper in the upper left corner, and there's targets that say Homer. I believe we're going to see a lot of spinner shots on this game. And here comes Andrew Roesta, up again. And it looks like he is just, looks like he's going for those homer targets. Only need to be letter O. Wow, great on the fly spin shot. And the thing about this game is the right out lane is reversed, meaning this is dangerous, But this is safe. Quite strange. Much like if you've seen Fathom or... Oh, no. Alex. That was wrong. Yikes. Well, of course. Dangerous of stepping up. Not too stellar games you're going to see because of the difficulty ramped up and not to mention pressure kind of plays a role. When you're feeling anxious, you tend to miss early in anticipation. Andrew Rosa, he's feeling pretty comfortable after coming out of victory in first place. But as we can see, whoa. Oh, boy. And a gate was removed on the lower right, right? I do not see a gate there. Yeah, there should be a one-way gate there that's been removed. And that adds to the danger. Hello Andy, we're just watching your boy. He won on victory. Nice, nice shot. He is doing pretty good on it. He is almost at 150,000 points. Wow. Nice. Another homer. He dug that one out. Okay. and loop it back up top. Nice lane change. Lane changes. Oh, that was a great ball by Andrew. And that puts him, wow, 312,000 going into ball three for Andrew. And Alberto smiles knowing that he is a hill to climb. Because not only does he have to, he has the pressure of seeing Andrew play, he has the added pressure of the next two players. Nice reflexes there. That's a hard shot to make. That ball comes out of the scoop. It's off it pretty quickly. Whoa. This looks like a very, very fast, flowy game. So Alberto's high score on this was 454,000. Uh-oh. We have a reset. We have a tilt. And Andrew's high score was 443,000. So they were both pretty close in qualifying. So Andrew, he does not want to plunge this because he has two other players that play in his group. So he will play this one out. I'm going to add some score here. Sorry for the big title text thing. So, Alberto has 30,710 points. Alberto has a score of title text. 30,710 for Alberto. And after this ball, we will see what Andrew Rose with the second gift. Great patience. She's trying for the spinner. Missed a little early on that. Boom, there it is. to hit the upper flipper up to the upper section of the plate though. Nice shot. There we go. Another. I believe spelling Homer those letters, those five letters are big points. or something. Probably much like the 50,000 bonus on Six Million Dollar Man or Super Cycle on Evil Knievel. I think that has some resemblance. But a great game for Andrew on this Grand Slam, and that will put him at least over 500,000. Wow. and Andrew Rosa finishes that game with 570,470 points. Fantastic game. That is nothing to sneeze at. And now we will have Ben and Vince up next on the same game. This is a rare sight. Take note. Johnny Modica is actually hell-tooned out. Clip it. We can see many, many recognizable faces. In the background, Steven Bowden, looks like Eric Stone, and Jim Belsito in the corner, and Andy Rosa, Sr., talking with his boy, congratulating him on that game. Now steps up Ben and he's going to play Grand Slam alongside Vince. So Andrew gave us a demonstration of how it works. We're going to probably see a lot of shots with that little flipper. That was a nice reflex shot there. I mean, it comes out really fast. It's a very difficult shot. They're very, very lightly flicked reflexes, you'll believe me. See, he was a hair late. Oh, great, great. He dug that out. Yeah, yeah. There's no gate on that side. We don't want trouble. He does not want to get Grand Prix'd. Grand Prix has no in-lane gates on both sides and if you trap up it'll roll and roll and can roll through into the outlanes and it is very humiliating and embarrassing when that does happen Oh, that's what we're talking about. He just needs the letter R to complete his homer. Open the... There we go. All right. Oh, that's a rare reverse flame. He's just going to go for the letter R. Yes, homer. Okay. Not a bad start for Ben. Probably not. 178,000 points. And up steps Vince. So for those just joining us We are at Freeplay Florida 2019 At the Taribe Royal Or is it Royal Free Taribe Royal right Taribe Taribe Royal Resort Taribe Royal I believe And this is the First round of Classics Finals And I'm Carl D'Python Anghelo And I'm Dalton Ely And we're seeing Vince Gellermein? Gelormine? I'm butchering his name. I actually don't know. The only local in the group. The only local. He is from Fort Lauderdale. It's not exactly local, but it's Florida. Home State. Home State. That's a good way to say it. Home State. And Ben steps back up. Ben has one more letter for his homer. I want to see the value on that. I'm curious. I believe it's more if you have runners on base, much like in the game of baseball. I meant this one at the top. I don't even know if that's supposed to be homer or not. I can't read the letters on this monitor. Oh, I see. It spots letters much like Paragon. Right. The Homer saucer up top. And, of course, spelling Homer drives in runs. And it says, all Homer targets hit in sequence scores 25,000 to 50,000. Extra ball and special. Right. So that's where the center runs. Really great ball, 350. Trying to read up top up in the saucer area. It looks like it says, and advances letter. I can't read that. Saucer scores something for letters, I believe. Yeah, because it's advancing the letter. So it gives every letter before it, too, when you hit it. I assume that's what it says. I'm just curious the value when you get all five of them. Alright, so Vince having a solid control. Oh no. Oh. And there it is. Not much you could do with that one I think. It was bound to happen. It's almost like Robo-War. Yeah, again, another Gottlieb, another Gate Room. Oh, wait, this is a Gottlieb. This is a Bally. Bally Midday. Like the Hardbody era. Yep. Yeah, but Robo War is in the mains, and you can guess about how that goes. Yeah, Dan did the same thing. Oh, no. He's not coming. He tried to nudge it up. Oh, no. Good enough for second. Well, that's good enough. $475,000. Second at the moment. So, and Vince steps up knowing, well, Alberto is taking fourth place no matter what happens. And Vince, he walks up knowing he has a long journey ahead of him. History repeats itself. All right. Let me go get this game moved. And Andrew Rosa again comes out on top, followed by Ben Granger and Vince in Alberto. And we are switching games currently. And Andrew Rosa comes out with two first-place finishes, giving him a total of six points. And Vince comes out with one point for third place. Ben comes out with two points. That will get them at four. And Alberto will get his zilch. Alberto will have one point still. And on group two, we have on quick draw, I actually do not know the finishing of that. But it looks like on group three, Don Murkey must have won again. He has six points. And Mike Tedesco has one point. Derek Price, three points. And Fred Richardson, two points. And on group four, on victory, we have Eric Stone, Bob Matthews, Alex Harmon, and Zach Sharp. Eric Stone and Zach Sharp, Bob Matthews, and Alex Harmon on victory. That game's going to last ten years. Yes, I am commentating, Glenn. And I'm alongside Carl D'Python Anghelo. He is currently moving the camera rig to a different game. Yeah, I figured. Go ahead. If you're just tuning in, we're live at the Freeplay Florida 2019 Classics Playoffs. And I am Dalton Neely. And alongside, currently not at the booth, Carl D'Python Anghelo. You can hear the buzzers, bells, and whistles from other machines and desperate attempts for main players to qualify for the A Division. The A Division cuts off at 24 players and the qualifying ends in 4 hours, 12 AM, 12 o'clock midnight. Me, I'm sitting okay at 17th. I used to be fifth yesterday, but everybody's been doing well. And these gangs are no joke in the main. They are faster than Grease Lightning, except maybe for Devil's Tale. All right, most of the games are wrapping up, so I move the camera to the next game, the Andrew pick, which is 2001. So we'll be watching that. Coming soon, after a word from our sponsors. Yes, exactly. I'm going to go with the big three. Hey, we might be getting a big three. We could hit checkpoint one for big three. What's the difference? Hey, I know that guy. Adam? Thank you. and we are back take it easy until uh till they start the game up and this is 2001 a old EM with little flippers one of the better two-inch flipper game in my opinion and it's also single player so I should not delete my my text stuff darn why did I do that yes these this is a one-player game and we're going to see Alberto first I believe 2001 was listed as one of the best EM's is a very high rated EM And this is a five ball game, correct? Yes. This is a five ball game. What are you looking to do in this game? For 2001, of course, the targets are big priorities. And of course, when the pop bumpers are lit for 100 a pop, those are big too. but you can't actually hit them dead on when they're lit. And I believe if you complete the color-coded bank targets, it'll light, I think, those four targets in the dead middle. Oh, wow. That was a great dig by Alberta. Now, this is a tilt-in game, right? Yes, this is a tilt ends your game. So it's dangerous to be doing too much movement there. Now, he's completed one set of colors, which is why we have the saucer bank, right? The saucer that's at the top? Yes. Since we lost it, I hate saying it. I believe it. Or is that just second ball? No, see, there's the other saucer because he finished the reds. He completed the reds, and I think he's finished the blue side, too. Yeah, I think that's what it is. And so Alberto is doing very good. He's almost at the 3,000 mark. Thank you, Steve. You should be here to commentate. I need to get a Skype connection working up. Pim Omen Nerd's podcast meant Gap, not, oh, boy, I should do that. I need to remove that now. Hold that. Nothing. Mumble, mumble, mumble again. Blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah. Bleh, blah, blah, blah. Yes, Jackie. Let's divert our attention to Alberto. He's just past 4,000 points. I'm not very sure what happens or what happens to be his ball. He's past 5,000 now. And Alberto, I think, is finished with a score of 5,477 points. 5,477 points. That is a great, great start. So we are going to see a, hopefully we'll see a lot of better scores or around that area scores. We see Bob Matthews and Eric Stone in the background camera. We see the Project Pinball charity machine, the Attack from Mars. They hold a contest. Highest score gets prizes. Sadly, I do not have the lead on that game. I had $9 billion, but I think someone had $11 billion. I believe it was Francesco. Alright, Glenn, see you later, man. I hear my father yelling cheater at Tron. Yes, my father Stephen is in this tournament. He is qualifying as well, or trying to. But him yelling cheater at Tron, he probably has a reason to. That Tron has been stingy this qualifying session. And there's Dan Spoler, who's the project pinball organizer and the main tournament director for this Free Play Florida. A lot of thanks is directed towards Dan and his group of Project Pinball. And we are certainly glad to have the privilege of playing at Free Play Florida. And does it look like we have scoring, a little score dispute going on? We have funky Fred Richardson taking up camera space. And I believe Andrew Rosa II will be stepping up as player two as we get rid of a Freudian slip. That's what I was trying to do. Oh, boy. Okay. No one sees that with a mom. Alberto ends up with 5,477 points. Andrew is going to step up as player two as soon as they accept the scoring. All right, and the points are now updated on the screen, too. So really, this is Ben's match to lose at this point, because this is 3-2-1-0 scoring. Yes, it is 3-2-1 instead of the common 4-2-1-0 So Andrew with six is already, he's advanced And Ben only doesn't advance if he gets last Right, gets last, exactly And Andrew doesn't get last So he basically needs to beat Alberto and Ben Yes, it is the top two, right? I believe it is the top two points advanced The crowd goes bigger in the main tournament area. And we hear the deafening, dog whistle-style noise of Meteor. Here's an update on the other groups while we're waiting for the next player. And we have, it looks like, on group two, Luke Nahorniak and Bob Caldwell are the top two with four points and three points respectively. Oh, wow, Jeff Teal has four points as well. Yeah, we've got an interesting game there. So it may come down to game three. Jeff Teal and Luke are top two with Bob Caldwell and Josh Sharpe with them as well. And on group three, we have Don Murkey. He had two wins. Looks like he has six points as well. So it looks like Don will advance. And Derek Price has three points, Fred Richardson two points, and Mike Tedesco one point. So we'll see probably either Derek or Fred advance. And it looks like we're in game mode on 2001 with Andrew Russell II. Eric Stone, Bob Matthews watching behind. Oh, that was some wicked spin. I hit the elbow of the flipper and can't recover much from that. But thankfully for Andrew, he didn't need to do anything on this game. Oh, yeah. Good practice. Good practice. Or he can be a spoiler. He can block out points for the other players. Yeah, he can block. Nasty spin bouncing off that flipper. And Andrew, that's it. 1,555 points for Andrew Russell II. Wow. Quick, but like you said, he doesn't have to do anything. He advances automatically for his first two victories on Victory and Grand Slam. He may have just pushed Ben through right there. So all Ben needs is to get to 15.56, and he advances. Ben needs to He just needs one point To guarantee an advance Oh no, my mom's in the chat Oh no Oh no And it looks like Ben Granger's stepping up He is player three. This is a five-ball game on 2001. He's already a third of the way there. Wow. And on his second flip. And he is almost up to Andy on ball one. Yep, I think he's the best thing. 1483 points, I believe, on ball one. And he's got four more to go. And there we are. And Ben has surpassed Andrew. He is guaranteed one point no matter what Vince does. And we have many expletives shouted at Bally. Yeah, your mindset always changes when you're playing the little flipper games. And he is at 2,888. or 3000. Wow. Going into ball three has 3375 points. So I got one more blue target, two reds and one yellow to finish the entire seven targets. If he passes Alberto, he is guaranteed two points. And he is one point from 4 points Getting 200 points, wow. And there it is, he's passed Alberto. Currently broke the 6,000 mark. And the bounce is into these scoops, right? And, yeah, Ben ain't complaining about that. He knows he's going to probably guarantee an advance along with Andrew Rosa II. He knows he's going to. He wants to roll this. I can see it. He's determined. It's like his shades are, you can still see his shades on when he's not wearing them. Excellent. Excellent. Fantastic game from Ben, 8,320 points. And Vince is stepping up knowing he has work to do. I mean, Vince is not guaranteed the move, so it looks like it will be Andrew and Ben. Yep, guaranteed. Guaranteed to move. Even if Vince rolls this, it will be Andrew and Ben. Patience on that out. Uh-oh. Whoa. That was almost embarrassing. Great little nudge off the top of the sling. That's done. He's got one more ball, I believe. Come on, Vince. Go out swinging, bud. 300. So he ends up with, oh he's got one more. My fault. And that's it for Vince's game And it looks like Andrew and Ben Will advance to the next round And on football card No one else is finished yet It would say advanced if they did. I'll go check on the groups. Okay. And Andrew and Ben advanced. And on current, group two is currently on flip a card. Group three is currently on quick draw. And group four is on grand slam. Don Merkey is guaranteed to move. He has won his A1 the first two. He has six points. And Eric Stone has five points. He has a good lead. Eric Stone and Zach Sharp both have a great chance to advance. And Luke Nahornyak and Jeff Tillis are both tied at four points on group two. And if you're just tuning in, we are live at the Free Play Florida 2019 Classics Playoffs. I am Dalton Ely alongside Carl D'Python Anghelo And Carl's come back with an update from the other groups No updates, they're all in mid-game So we'll be waiting to bet They're close to the end of the game So there's not enough time to remove the rig So we'll just stick tight, sit tight Check out the scores on the website The only person we know who advances is Don Murphy He has six points. Nice. So, Andrew and Ben advance to the next round. And Francis Pate, the two happens, and advances. Yay. Pretty cool. That has never happened before. That's never happened before, ladies and gentlemen. All right. Let's see what I can get up here. All right, we'll take a look here. Those are tiebreaker on 2001. Oh, got it, got it, got it, got it. Okay, so Bob Caldwell and Luke Nahorniak are tied. Working on it. And they are playing 2001. Luckily, we do not have to move the rig. And Bob Caldwell will be playing Luke Nahorniak. and I believe Jeff advanced. Jeff Tielas advances. And that put Josh Sharpe out, I assume. Dr. Curley has a good point. Do you want to update what happened there? I don't know what happened. You can update us. I have no idea. Update us, Jeff. Whoops. Hello. I was in this match with these two guys. Thanks, Doug. Thank you, Dr. Curley. Bob won the first game we were playing, which was Grand Slam. That probably was the nemesis for Josh Sharpe because, as you know, not too many great Chicago baseball teams or players, so that probably hurt Josh right off the bat. And then he just got, what was the next game we played? Was it Quick Draw? Quick Draw, yeah. It's a two-player game. He actually won his game, but Luke and I passed him, so he needed a miracle to advance in this 3-2-1-0 format. So right now you've got Luke and Bob Caldwell. Bob from St. Louis. And it looks like Bob has finished his game with 3,115 points. And up steps Luke Nahorniak. Missing hunting season, by the way. He told me a few deer lived another day. Hey, Albert. Thanks, buddy. My favorite thing about being in that group, by the way, is because of where we were seated. Every time they asked Josh, what do you want to be, first or second? And every time he said second, I giggled and giggled and giggled. You have a chance to be first. 52 seconds, Josh. Oh, well. Yeah, the key in this game is just get the back up top. Right. I hope you get lucky with some sling hits. The drops are lucky. Some drops. The pops will change every now and then to 100. It's tough to get it all the way back up. I mean, that's a real. It looks like the inner slings are pretty powerful on this one, though. Yeah, but again, look at that gap. I mean, that's the hard part of this game. Oh, yeah. The flippers are small and the gap is wide. Yep. And by the way, these slings definitely throw it in the out lane. Yep. Once you get to the top of the slings, you better be gently nudging. Although, in this, I don't know if you were streaming it earlier. Yeah, we did. Was it Fred Richardson? No, no, no. We streamed this match. Alberto and the Andrew Rosa group. Okay, well, Freddie, unfortunately, just gave a nudge right at the top. His score on this game was one. That's for real. Damn. He tilted? He tilted on his game on the wedgehead. Tilted on his game and with a score of one point. Steve Daniels, good point. Trouble, trouble. Yeah, see ya. Yeah. Center is always 3,000. I find a full plunge is almost hitting that. I mean, we'll see. Full plunge has been getting me either center or the far left one, which is good. If he can get those bottom five red targets, that's going to make that worth 300. Luke had a great plunge there. It just zoomed by us. It looked like it was the right velocity. Not sure which ball we're on. Yeah, one point. We're on ball two. Ball two. This is ball two for Luke. It's a good score. Look at. He's almost at the 2,000 mark. When you're in this situation, though, it looks like it's so far away. Even though you've got three balls, you know, hit a few saucers there. They weren't lit. A little fumble there. Ball three for Luke. He is at 2,102. He needs 3,115 is Bob's score. Another tie would be great. I know Carl wants that. That would be fun. Oh, boy. Why was that a training square? I thought where they had an actual tie. I can't remember where that was. It was this year. The IFPA World Championship, it was Johannes and Daniele. They tied on Rocket 3. That's right. I wasn't there. I saw it. I felt like it was there. That was nuts. That's right. Dalton, good point. That was pretty cool. All right. The whole world. That did it right there. He's got it. All right. It's a walk-off. All right. Luke advances. There you go. Talk to you in a bit, boys. All right, Jeff. Thanks for stepping in, and good luck. But yeah, the whole world championship, IFPA world championship finals between Johannes Ostermeyer and Daniele Acciari, it was incredible. It was from exact tie games and insane comebacks to a full replay of a best of three. Right. It was a best of three. And since they tied on Rocket 3, they had to play a best of three again. again, so it was basically best of however many. And we have an announcer stepping in. How are you today? I'm doing all right. All right. You're just tuning in. We are here at the Free Play Florida 2019 Classics Playoffs Finals. I am Dalton Ely, alongside Carl D'Python Anghelo and Ron Hallett. And we're just waiting on group three. We're awaiting further notice to see who will join Don Murky in the next round. So did you play in the classics at all? Nah. I attempted. Yeah. Attempts being the word. I wasted too much money in the main. There you go. Yeah. Wasted too much money buying interest from mains, you know. But I am very surprised I am still sitting, I'm currently at 17 in the A's. As long as I stay there until 12 a.m., I don't care. So it looks like Eric Stone and Bob Matthews advanced to the next round. Jeff Teolis and Luke Nahorniak after Luke Nahorniak beat Bob Caldwell in the 2001 tiebreaker will be Luke and Jeff in the next round with Andrew Rosso II and Ben Granger. I actually played Andrew in the last round of Pinberg this year. Yes It did not go well It went well for him Andrew Rosa placed third In the Pinberg this year Great representation of the youth Following in his old man's footstep Andrew Rosa Sr. He is of course with him Andrew is currently Or Andy Sr. He is currently starting a game on volley. So if you hear really loud slap sounds, you'll know that he's playing. Probably slaps the game louder than any player I've encountered. He also wears the gloves, too. Oh, yeah, the gloves. Amplify the sound. Andy won the Starham Pro Circuit Final. And I think he also won the, was it the Cleveland Pinball Festival? Yeah, he won something else. He's also a former Chicago Pinball Expo winner. Yes. Andy is a veteran. He knows what for. Yes. For the A Division, it is the top 24 players move on. They'll play tomorrow in the playoffs. They'll be the top 24. The top eight get a bye. And we're waiting for Carl to come back. He is moving the camera rig to see what next game we will have. So how was your play today? Did you feel any good? Mediocre. Mediocre? I got in my mode where I just picked a game or two, and it's like I'm going to have a good game on it at the expense of all else. Yeah. So I had a decent game of Meteor. That was my game here. and I think I had a really good game in 2001. That was about it. But, yes, the top 24 in the A Division, there are no splashes. Carl D'Python Anghelo is sitting at number one with 481 points. Your best five scores in the mains count towards your totals. Carl D'Python Anghelo is in the lead with 481 points, followed by Derek Price, Eric Stone, Zach Zac Stark, Alberto Santana, Travis Meary, Bob Matthews, Alex Harmon, Steven Bowden, Nick Mueller, Greg Pavarelli, Sebastian Bobbio, Derek Pugatti, Luke Nahonyak, Jason Werdrick, Andy Rosa, Dalton Ely, me, Andrew Rosa II, Jeff Tillis, Adam Lefkoff, Jeff Palmer, Shannon Stafford, Josh Sharpe. And for 24th, Tom Graff and Brian Brian Dominy are tied. So we'll have to see the Classics Finals have any effect on the main as several of the players near the bottom are in the Classics Finals and can't play right now. Yeah. So if the cues get long enough at the end and they can't get their games in, it may actually end up hurting them, which I've seen happen in many tournaments. Oh, yes. waiting killed. Yes. Although it is only 7.30 and we are... It's only 8.30. Oh, I'm looking at Josh Sharpe's laptop here, which is on Central Time. Yeah, that's why. Wow, the next three Stern games right here on the page. I better close that. But, yes, you will hear the whistling, the flippers, bells, buzzers, and whistles in vain desperation attempts to qualify in the top 24, which ends in three and a half hours 12 a.m midnight looks like we're going to quick draw quick draw that's where one camera has moved to actually both cameras have moved to so but you probably can't see look calls coming back it does look like we're about to see some quick draw action ah quick draw Quick Draw is a two-player EM. There is a four-player variation EM called Fast Draw. And with a one-click and a swift transition, we are seeing Quick Draw. Now, let's see how they play this. Wow, this is a great group we have here. So two-player EMs. You're going to see first two players, player one and player two, Andrew Rosa II and Mike Tedesco will play their two full games right now, followed by Jeff Tillis and Bob Matthews after Andrew and Mike are finished. Jeff and Bob will play their full games. Now let's see if they used the strategy I saw many players using, which is all those drop targets that look like the most important thing to hit, avoid them completely and just keep hitting it up top. They are deadly. Yep. They are very, very deadly. Wow, that was intense. And, of course, the ABC rollovers, I believe they light the pop bumpers for 100 points a pop. You can get them all. Is it like double bonus, something like that? I'm trying to remember from the card. For ABC, you'll get the hole value right here and here are 1,000 points and 1,000 more points for each letter you have. So he currently has all his letters, ABC. So he will get 4,000 points every time he goes into one of those holes. I'd say that's a good ball. Last game ended at 33, 34. I believe this is a five-ball. Is this a five-ball game? Yes. This is a five-ball game. Currently up to ball two with Andrew II. Yikes. You better watch out when it comes down. Yep. There's his letter B. Curses and expletives can be heard all over the world. in violation of IPS guidelines. And I guarantee 90% of them are either at RoboWar or Sinbad. Probably Sinbad. Yes, Sinbad. The title of the game, Sinbad, the sin is silent. So it's just bad. Sinbad, not only is it quick. It's a three-ball game. Sinbad is a three-ball game. It seems like it should be a five-ball game. It should be a five-ball game, but it is fast, unfriendly, stingy. It's after a good first ball. Going into ball three. Wow. This is a very, very close game. Very tight. 800-point difference between them going into ball three. Oh, that lip out on that saucer. Yikes. So here comes Mike. I'd like to thank the many collectors that have brought their games here for this tournament. Oh, yes. I almost forgot to mention, this game has a hair trigger tilt. Yes. Any kind of movement, this thing will insto tilt. You have to hold your breath to play. You can't even breathe on it. I didn't think I saw anything there. Uh-oh. You can't even do just your typical, like, just downward motion. Like, really, even that doesn't work. You're going too hard. We also like to thank Dan Spoler and his Project Pinball charity. They always do a great job, what they do, donating pinball machines to children's hospitals all over the United States. And he is the head tournament director of the Free Play Florida tournaments, and we are glad to be here. And we very well appreciate what he does in terms of pinball. And also, I'd like to thank Carl right next to us for giving us a beautiful playfield angle over at IE Pinball Switch and giving you this pinball action. Thank you. Please subscribe and or donate. Either is fine. Here we go. All right. 4K free stops. Mrs. Penn says Saucet right Yes Saucet She's like this game Oh boy Another lip out And it doesn't cost them that time This will probably be a good Stall ball game Oh boy I don't know if you have enough time to To run away Alright some progress made Thanks Hector Too much too Thank you for the subscription. Dang. Someone trying to get the attention of the scorekeepers. Many of the scorekeepers are volunteers and it's obvious who they are. And not only that, but there's been some odd issues with the score. Oh, with the queuing? Yeah, and I still don't understand them. It's probably the network. Yeah, that's what I'm leaning towards, but it's still extremely frustrating for the players. Myself, too. They're coming up. I feel horrible, but I'm looking at the logs. I see nothing going on. Yeah, it's weird. Like, one time I was next, and then I wasn't, and then I was again, and then another one. I was next when I shouldn't be next. All right, we're at the last ball, ball five. And on ball five, your bonus is doubled on this game. So you don't want quick trains here. You do not want to tilt at all on this ball. So what's happening, Bo? Oh, no. Oh, oh, oh, oh. Oh. Okay, 35, 130. 35, 130 for Andrew Rosen. As we said, don't want to tilt there. Now, keep in mind, this is in the EM. Anything can happen to Mike here. He could not get a single thing. And I noticed on at least all of the games I was able to see inside, they're using the earplug trick with the plumb bob. So I don't know if they did it on all the games. And it looks like Mike is going to let this settle. He's not taking any chances with this. It's a very smart thing to do. So he needs 5,000 points. Yeah, 5, 1, 3. So he needs every little bit of nudging he can possibly get. So these targets and these targets, it looks like they add bonus. And also they are 500 points a target. And they will also kill you. Yes, they will come screaming back at you from the looks of it. That's why you may wonder, why aren't they going for those obvious targets? That's why. And here comes Mike. That was actually a very good plunge. Right in the seat because it comes right to the flipper. The one just keeps going up top and can hope it doesn't drain. So the targets also add bonus. He's currently at 2,000 doubled. So if he does not till, he will pass Andy in bonus. Another lip out on those crossers. The game looks slightly lean-y to the right, at least from the screen. You've got to force yourself to not nudge too hard. I would say not nudge at all. Yeah, exactly. You're just hitting the buttons. Yes. You'd be surprised, though, how reaction takes over sometimes. Also at the top, there are add bonus lights. Thank you, Steve. There's two right here and two right here. Only two will be lit at a time. He's got them at this point. Yes, he's passed them. But he's still playing because we have two more players. Yes, we have two more players. And when those players are Jeff Teolis and Bob Matthews, you have to get out of dodge with those points. And, wow, great, great, great ball five from Mike. and that will put him at 72,410 points. So if you're in Andrew Yoros' spot, you don't know if you could be second or you could be last. Yes. You don't know. Or for Mike, you don't know if you're going to be third or first because. Heaven knows the next two players, I mean, if you get 100K apiece, probably not going to happen. Johnny Monica reviewing the scores. About to see what game is next. And up steps Jeff Gillis. They had a brain fart there. Of course it's the same game, Rob. Jeff Gillis and Bob Matthews will be playing this game. Yeah, I thought the A and the C were good because they would just come straight down to the flipper for a controlled shot. And, wow, bumpers given the letter B. That's where you want it. Keep hitting that stand up, hit the pop-upers. And there's the letter C. All pop-ups are lit. Currently has $4,000 in bonus. Uh-oh. $20K is maxed bonuses and more than that. No, I believe he had $9,000 doubled. He had $9,000 on the bonus chart and he had it doubled. That's a very good first ball. Jip has $7,000 in bonus in the bank when he loses the ball. Now he has $8,000 in the bank. This is how you want to play it. Of course. You want to get to the left or right of the pop-offers there. Hit that target and just hit the pop-off right there. Just keep doing that over and over. Yes, but also the scorekeepers. If you volunteer scorekeeping like I did, I was volunteering scorekeeping in the main tournament. And for every hour or so, you get seven free entries. And it's always great to do some volunteer work. Not to mention if it saves you money. Hello, we have in the booth with us now, we have one of the women's participants. Hi, I'm Norma Jennings. I actually participated in the women's tournament, and I won the tournament and was really thrilled. It was a fantastic honor. I also was sort of in charge over here in Classics And so I'm watching Classics now from a distance Well, congratulations on the women's tournament Thank you very much, thank you very much It was great Watching this here, I was looking for an opportunity to jump in And boy, I'll tell you This is one One tremendous set of performances that we're seeing here And we currently have Bob Matthews up against Jeff Teolis. After Jeff Teolis' first ball, great score with 31,610 points. And Bob Matthews, just over 10,000. And we're going to see a great battle between Jeff and Bob here. Bob is a veteran in the pinball competition. He knows all the old machines. He's got his gloves on. He knows what to do. And Bob is an excellent performer alongside Jeff Teolas. Of course, we all know Jeff Teolas with the pinball profile. And he actually had the pinball profile world tour stop by at the District Eat and Play in the Oviedo Mall on Thursday. and yes he did very well there I'm sure and you know Bob Matthews I have to tell you he had a bit of tough luck there on ball one it looked like it rolled over the insert and kind of went down and there you go Jeff Keel this is what happens sometimes you know all the good things you do and it doesn't come out there and Bob Matthews I'm just going to tell you I watched him play I watched him play a flip a card today and he rolled slip a card, and I learned more probably from him in that one game than I probably learned from any one player this whole year. It looks like he got bugged by an insert again here. The play field is level. I've checked it myself. That was one of my responsibilities. I even had to prove it. I'm really not here to take over anything. I just want to say thank you to Carl D'Python Anghelo and the whole team here for putting on a tremendous performance. I'm really just here to give a quick shout-out to those, I call them the gorgeous ladies of Florida pinball. Hopefully you enjoyed some of that coverage earlier tonight from Carl and the team. Really great performance. Again, I was very happy to be part of that and to participate well here in Florida. Hopefully, if you've never come down and played anyone in Florida, please come down and check out Free Play next year. you're going to encounter some great competition also IFPA 17 coming up in Fort Myers Florida it's on the other side of the state and that will be in May 2020 so folks will be back here at that time I just want to say great competition here the guys and the gals they're all really fantastic players really just drop it in to say hi don't want to interrupt this fine play here You know, we've got great floor competition here and some fine players from around the country. And so, Dalton, I think I'm just going to hand this back over to Mr. Karl DeAngelo. I'll let you guys take it the rest of the way. Great to hear from you. Congratulations on the women's tournament again. I'm sure all the ladies love that quite big representation. And, again, congratulations. And no need to wait until next year because we will be open tomorrow. Exactly. Only until 4 p.m., but we will be open. So if you're in the area, come on down or, I guess, up, depending on where you may be. Exactly, exactly. Yeah, Florida, you know, here in Orlando, it's just about smack in the center. All right, well, thanks a lot, guys, and enjoy the rest of this competition. Back to you, Carl. All right, back to you, Carl. And we are already on ball five of Quick Draw. Joe Gillis with a comfortable lead, 43,000. With the 43,000, he passes Andrew Rosas, 35-130. Yes. So, Jeff Gillis has guaranteed at least one point. And this is why in these type matches, I always hated going first or first and second. You sit there and watch people pass you. Happens at Kinberg all the time. One player EMs, if you have to go first, you think you had a good game, and then everyone passes you. Of course. Adam, this is an excellent game. Remember, this is ball five, so this is double bonus. Yes, this is double bonus since it's on ball five. And also the targets are 500 points, and they add bonus. And we will reiterate, he does not want to tilt. Yes, please do not tilt on ball five on any EM. Except maybe volley if it's a tilt in his game. Yeah. That way you don't have much to lose. For 2001. Does that have bonus? I don't think so. Yeah, 2001, yeah, you can. And with the bonus, Jeff Teolis has his Mike Tedesco to currently take the lead. And let's see what Bob Matthews does. Jeff Teolis ends up with 84,590 points. Fantastic playing from Jeff. Yes, that ball, that first ball. But, of course, when it comes to the old games, do not count Bob out. The Indisc Classics champion, I believe, or one of the days. I think they had multiple days. Yes, I believe Bob Matthews was a Classics champion at the Indisc this year, if I'm not mistaken. Either Saturday or Sunday. No, Friday or Saturday. And, look, that was some great expertise saved from the Classics master. Wow. Swished the B in lane. Yeah, just grinding it out. And there it is. Let's see what we got. But within the bonus, Bob takes third place with 58,430 points. And Jeff Tillis comes out of there with the first place finish. Then it is Mike Tedesco Then Andrew Russell Or then Bob Matthews Then Andrew Russell So And as we take a look here On We have no updates yet On the game of victory So Probably still going on It was the I think it was the longest playing Well If Eric Stone Oh, if Eric Yeah, if Eric Stone is on it Yeah If Eric Stone's in that group You know it's going to Take forever He might be still on ball one Or I don't know In tournaments with Eric, I played in many tournaments with him, it would usually be that one game that he just absolutely owns and destroys. He probably picked victory, I would assume. He will continue to pick it. And if you're just tuning in, we're here at the Free Play Florida 2019 Class 6 Playoffs. I am Dalton Neely alongside... Ron Hallett. Ron Hallett. And we are currently awaiting, and also with Carl D'Python Anghelo running the camera booth and the camera rig. And the voice of reason. Voice of reason. We'll correct us if we're wrong. You're wrong. And the peanut gallery. We're moving the flipper car. Oh. Oh, the wonderful flipper car. And with a great moan, everyone collectively moans, we're moving to Flip A Card. It's a game that involves hitting lots of stand-ups with two-inch flippers, where you have no idea where the ball is going. And also, this is a one-player EM, so Andrew is first. So Andrew will play his full game, followed by whoever player two is. Oh, that was, that was, oh, he deserved better after that. There's also a saucer, which maybe you can hit it directly. I had it lift out pretty much every time. It will usually fall into it. Okay, so it spins the number, but what's the number? When you get the matching number, what does it do? I don't know. What does it do, Carl? Do you get a special? Do you get a special? Which is probably... Is it worthless then? A pat on the back. A pat on the back. Because if it's a special on these old games, it probably won't give you points. Calling Steve Daniels in chat. Steve Daniels here wants it for the rules. You get a pat on the back if you hit it in the spin hole because, whoa. There it goes. Andrew gets a pat on the back. Because that spin hole looks hard. It is harder than it looks because there's no backstop to it. It is just a saucer right in the middle of the play field. They give you a nice in lane on the right side, but then on the left side, they don't. This makes it so much harder to control. So on this game, of course, it just looks like you want to go up top all day. Yep. Same thing with a lot of these games. But it looks very difficult to get it up there. And it really is an art, learning these two-inch flippers. It's a totally different way of playing. I believe this is Andrew's fifth ball. I'm not sure. I think so. And he's almost at 5,000 points. There it is, 5,000. Oh! And he was ready for it. Yes. You've got to get props for that. He did not walk away dejected. He was ready. That was a great ball. Oh, it probably was ball five. Yeah, that was definitely ball five. Well, he had nothing to lose for ball five tilting. A strong start for Andrew, 5,158 points. and now you get to watch the next three players and just hope honor that anyone would think I know this machine expletive you didn't hear that I heard nothing you heard fire where's the yellow card the sharp bros are here They're going to hand out the yellow cards like candy. I don't know. I haven't seen the yellow card yet. I know the league I play in, we actually had a little announcement before one of our weeks where we went over all the new rules. And we had questions like, is the yellow card, is that per week or per the season? You know, questions like that. So, and I guess we are waiting for the tilt to settle down for player two. I believe player two, we are waiting for player two. Will it be Mike? Will it be Jeff? Will it be Bob? It will be Dan Spoller. No, it will not. There's Dan Spoller. And it looks like it will be Mike Tedesco stepping up to flip a card. He steps up with great remorse. We're really putting over these games. And there's Andy Rosa Sr. with the firm grip gloves, his staple. Telling us not to use a nut slap to get him hard enough. Of course, great pinball runs in the family. Andy Rosa was a He won the Stern Pro Circuit Final this year The Cleveland Pinball Festival this year too And he's also, I believe he's a I believe he's a former Chicago Flipout Expo champion too I remember that He had to wear the crown Oh yeah They made you wear a crown He won the Houdini last year There you go Yes And the Sands Headlamp You did not bring it with him as far as I can tell The Sands Headlamp He does not have a headlight. The lighting is good in here. And, of course, his son, Andrew Rosa II, showing the Rosa pinball genes. He placed third in the Pinberg tournament this year, alongside Keith Elwin, Daniele Acciari, and I believe Chris Stevens. I think he would be the favorite if there was any father-son of that. Yes. There's a great father-son duo teams in the pinball world. You have Adam and Escher, the Lefkoffs. Adam Lefkoff and Escher Lefkoff. Escher being a Papa World Champion of 2017. He was, I believe, how old was he? I think he was like 13. Something like that. I was there. You have Jeff and Atticus Palmer from Florida, from right here. Jeff and Atticus, the Palmers And of course, Andrew and Andy, the Roasters And maybe one day it'll be the Ely's Me and my father, Steven So Mike's having a pretty good go at things, I feel I mean, it's like everybody's hitting the targets pretty well Whoa, another Lazarus Multiple Lazaruses And Steve has an answer for us. He had to look up the instruction card, but it says, spin light stopping on card, spots the corresponding card, and scores the card value. I hope that was English. Yeah, in other words, just keep hitting it up top and avoid drains. Or hit it directly into the spin, you know, at 500 points. I can't believe that one just stuck. Yes, there are a lot of heavy-hitting players here at this Free Play Florida main tournament. We have the Sharp Brothers are here, Zach and Josh Sharpe, and including their father, yes, another father-son dynamic duo. You've got Roger Sharp and, of course, the Sharp Brothers, Zach and Josh. Oh, that was rough. That is a classic house ball. He literally just hit it. That was ball five. That was it. Oh, my. I think he thought he might get that back because it didn't hit anything. But on some EMs, it doesn't. Well, it went over the in lane, didn't it? It did? I thought it went all the way over the left. I thought it went all the way over the left area. Hold on. Hold on. It went. Okay, never mind. It didn't. No. I have control. Yes. The ball didn't do it. 4,817. Now you can do it. Yeah. The ball did not do that. That would be strange, but I believe it bounced off that rubber donut and just came off and straight down. Because he stopped like he expected it to come back because he didn't hit a single switch, but it did not. Yes, Gottlieb EMs do not have play field validation. I had to learn that on Jungle Queen before. It's funny, we probably all learned it the same way. We'll get that back. He's like, no, we can't do that. It's a Gottlieb EM. and up. Gattiola is coming off an excellent game and quick draw. With the win on quick draw, he will step up to flip a card as player three. Followed by Bob Matthews. Is he our only Canadian representation in the finals? In the finals? Maybe, yeah. Representing the entire country of Canada, no pressure, Jeff. None at all. This game had the shortest queues, I would say, during the qualifying. I can imagine. I wonder why. I'm just kidding. Well, technically, El Dorado City of Gold had the shortest queue, but they had none. It died. It died. Yeah, spin shot. So that was only 50 minutes. Oh, wow. I saw a look of, oh, man, on Jeff's face for a split second. So I get it now. So if you've already gotten the card that you spin to, you get 500 points. And if you don't have it, you get 50 points. Okay. So you don't really want to be going for that spin if I'm correct until you have a lot of cards. Yeah. If it bounces in there, just take it. So, it basically just hit the ball forward. Avoid side-to-side action and hit it up top. Pop bumpers give you some points, too. Uh-oh. Well, if you go by that third, he's got a lot of cards now. Yeah. He wants to go in there. It's better off just keep flailing, man, hitting it, and maybe it'll fall in the hole. I know that doesn't sound skillful. He's going to get every card He's only got three left Oh man Another Huge ball one Look at that Huge ball one Oh Jeff has the ball one magic He's got the touch That's 37 38 3,803 points for Ball one for Jeff Teolas Jeff Teolas representing all of Canada And pinball profile I guess Jeff's doing so well because he's got the glasses. I'm trying to figure out the top lane thing. I mean, is there just one light up there that's lit? I had trouble seeing if it was like lights were just dim or if they're... I think the other jack on the left is lit, but it's dim. I couldn't figure that out when I was playing it. So Jeff is on pace to pass Mike. And Jeff has passed Mike Tedesco. So Jeff is guaranteed at least one point. I believe we're doing, was it 3-2-1-0? Yes, it is 3-2-1-0. the kill system instead of the 4-2-1-0 as many people know. Keep it closer. And more nail biting and more anxious and more nerve wrecking. I think it's from Jeff's point of view. He won the first one. He keeps killing it here. If he wins two in a row he still won't be far ahead of everyone. That was a great save by Jeff. That was 50 points So I don't know what I'm talking about. Jeff has passed Andrew now. He's currently almost on pace for 6,000. He's doing the impossible. He had a good ball one and two. Yes. Which is crazy. On an EM like this. On an EM? Yeah. He's getting a chance to play. He may be on pace for rolling it. It's amazing how often the highest scores on the games happen during the playoffs and not qualifying. Fascinating, isn't it? It's just like, I don't know if maybe they get more playable. They slow down a bit over all the qualifying, but you just see it over and over again. All right, so you just need the one jack to complete all the cards. Yes. I assume that just likes to be threshold. Oh, is that? No. I just noticed the cars are lit on the back glass. Yes. That's the step that I am. He only needs the jack. Right. Also, in case you're wondering, we actually cannot see what ball he is on because it is not listed on the back glass. It's actually on the apron. It's on the apron. It's like a series of lights on the apron that will tell us what ball he's on, but I believe this is ball number three. And ball number four coming up. Denise the Jack. Jack. Yeah, you can see the ball counting on the screen. It's on the play field. Yeah. So if he gets the jack, do we go to ACDC next? That's the question. Yeah, we're blind as a bat. The ball in play is right there. We'll just blame the glare. We'll just blame the glare for we can't see. If you donate to IE Pinball, Carl will get anti-glare glass for all the games, and everything will be in 4K, and then we'll be able to see that. But it's all up to you. Hey, I need bandwidth more than glass. That's true. $9,079. $9,079. What was the high qualifying score? I'll look it up. The highest qualifying for Flip-A-Card, I believe it is. Let's take a look here. The highest qualifying score for Swippacard was 12,454 points by Luke Mahoney. Holy cow. Fun fact, Jeff had 9,885 as his highest qualifying. Oh. So, pretty consistent with his qualifying score. Great job Jeff And up steps Bob Matthews And it is currently 9.07 p.m. here in Florida, the Preplay Florida Tournament. Maine's players are still trying desperately to qualify for the top 24 in the Maine's. They are pumping and dumping. The lives away. They take credit card here, folks. What? Yes, they do. They take card. They take card? I did not know that. Yeah, I saw someone using them. I go, that's a smart move. We will be taking cards in this, but it will be via the IFPA. I didn't know he was taking cards, otherwise I would have worked and gotten the integration on the... Look at it through PayPal or something, too, if you guys are paying. That works. Can you say Indus, Carl? When is that going to be? January 9th of the 12th. He was going to say, I don't know. I was. Which is scary. Long day, okay? So Bob is currently on ball number three. He's just past 2,000 points. You don't want that side-to-side movement. It's just death. That left out lane, it looks so small, but it's actually a gobble monster. It is just eating it. Oh, and just, yeah. And so Bob Matthews steps up to ball number five with 3,000 points. Remember, he needs to pass Mike. He does not want to take a zero here. Will he get a flip? Yes. Thanks for the sub. I'm going to assume you're going to have to take up. Thank you so much. Greatly appreciate it. So he ends up last. So, yep. So, Jeff Tillis, amazing 9,000-point game on flip a card of all games. He's killing it. And that gives him his second victory of the group's match. That means Jeff Tillis will advance guaranteed. And on group two, it looks like Ben won his game. Eric Stone got second. Luke, third. Don Forth. And it looks like they will be moving to Quick Draw. Well, they're currently on Quick Draw now. Claude Python Anghelo going over and moving the camera rig around to give us another game. One of the greatest inventions ever. The camera rig. The oval rig. And if you're just tuning in, we're here at the Free Play Florida 2019 Classics Playoffs. I am Dalton Ely alongside... Ron Hallett. Ron Hallett. With the beautiful Caribbean Royale. Am I saying that? I'm probably totally butchering that. Caribbean Royale. Caribbean Royale. Caribbean. You've got to roll the R slightly. I can't roll. I fake it. Caribbean Royale. Caribbean Royale in Orlando, Florida. And it looks like we're going to Jack's Open This is the only game Andrew could pick still And he is closing it So then if he moves on to the next round Which he Wait No, it's not guaranteed If he moves on He will then have all games available again And of course you can check out the standings at www.neverdrains.com Forward slash FPF 2019 So Connor, what do you know about this game? Targets. Targets. Or is it one of those, avoid the targets and get behind the targets games? Looking at the play field. It kind of reminds me of Joker Poker in a way. It looks like I want to hit the Dax right now. Yes. Much like Joker Poker, you have to hit certain targets to get the 5x bonus. See, now he has to go for the Queens. And so, again, this is a one-player EM, meaning they will all play their full games one at a time. Chialis being the gentleman, I can't really just check that. He's a gentleman here. He decided to go first since he is guaranteed to move on. Oh, yes. Also on Jack Stobin, there are no in-lane gates. No in-lane gates. meaning the ball, if you trap up, the ball can roll out. The ball can roll out much like another EM Grand Prix. Suicide inlanes, as Steven Bowden called them. However, there is a slight upside because there is a tiny post on each side that could bounce it in if you're lucky. Like right there? Like that. That was beautiful. Thanks, Jeff, for being on cue. Jeff. Such a gentleman. No. But regardless of how Jeff finishes here, he advances because he has placed first in his previous two games. Oh, no. And there we go. He's demonstrated everything. He demonstrated what not to do there. Back home, we call that getting Grand Creed. Also, shout out to Portal Pinball Arcade over in Kennesaw, Georgia, where I am from. And they have a Grand Prix there, and it is notorious for being forgetful and being embarrassed by trapping up and rolling out the outranger. If you tune in tomorrow, there's a very high chance you will see a Grand Prix. Because someone will probably pick it. Yes, tomorrow at 9 a.m. Why not? Carl's not totally confident someone will pick it. He thinks it will just be like a Tron, Guardians of the Galaxy. I thought you were talking to me. That's why you were. Oh. But this isn't tomorrow. This is today, the Classics Finals. Yes. Tomorrow at 9 a.m. The main playoffs begin. It will be the top 24 qualified. The top eight receive a bye for the next round. All right, we're working towards the special now. And this is Jeff's last ball. He just rolled it. Yes, he did roll. Jeff Gillis has rolled Jack's open. Oh, boy. Jeff has been killing the classics. He's saving that dangerous queen in the middle for the last one. Very smart play. By the way, the current scores on the profiles were the previous scores for flip a card. Don't want to say drop a card or spin a card. How many games? There's so many different A card So Jeff Teolis finishes his game With a roll 112,110 points That's huge He's trying to do I call it the L win You've already won after the first two games So in the third game you win it anyway Well of course yes You can spoil who advances Because however you finish in your third game You can In your mind, you want to choose to play it out and just skunk everybody out, or you want to play subpar to maybe advance someone else. Ugh. He gets hurt by that in lane there. The thing is when one person runs away with it, it makes the other part very tight between the other players. Oh, great nudge saved by Mike. I'm faster all that than tilt. On anything now. Anything I fast-throw. Nice. See, that's the only upside to this game. It was those saves on those pegs. I believe there's an old Stern Electronics, I think, called Trident. It's got something similar to that in the right out lane. So Mike is entering ball four with 64,270 points. Oh. Alright. Ball five. Mike Tedesco is on ball five. Just wants to get a play. Oh, oh. Oh, that, yeah. Outland. Some pilot error, unfortunately. Mike finishes his game with 70,130 points. and I believe up next we'll have Andrew Rosa II with his father watching over our shoulders as we speak. I'm sure he is very proud of his son advancing this far in the classics. I'm sure he was really proud for his Pinberg finish, finished third at Pinberg, Andrew Rosa II did, and is a great up-and-coming youth, or not up-and-coming, He is a great youth player. They're no longer up and coming. They're here. They're winning majors and stuff. Yeah, Andrew's current IFPA record is 63rd, and Jeff Gillis is 64th. He's just one below. Bob Matthews, 46, and Mike Tedesco, 1,967. He's going up top. Oh great nudge. He completes his jacks, now he needs to hit his queens. The important thing is when you're up top there, you can't drain it. It's the safest place on the play field to be. Yep, that's about right. Another fantastic nudge to save it bouncing off that peg back into the in lane. Excellent ball. Of course the one time he actually went for a target in the center. Well, he has a fantastic ball one with just surpassed 60,000 points. He's in within striking distance of Mike's score just after ball two. And now it looks like he needs to complete his Queens and Kings. Nice. Another T has been working those out lane saves to a T. Now he needs the Royal Flush, A, King, Ace, King, Queen, Jack, Ten of Hearts. And Andrew is almost on, he's almost rolled the game much like Jeff. And he does. Another roll while Jack's open for Andrew Rosa. And with that, he passes Jeff Teolos' score. I think he's punching his ticket right now. The interesting thing is he did it differently. He started going up top, first like two balls, and now he's going for the target. Well, because if you get the fourth rollover, it resets them, I believe. So you want that value. You don't want to give that heart. So, I believe with that passing of Jeff Teolis' score, I believe Andrew may be joining Jeff. Yeah, Bob would have to pass Andrew. So, we'll see. If Bob gets last, Mike and Andrew will play a tiebreaker to join Jeff in the advance. No, no, Andrew will get three points from this. And Mike's got one point. Mike's got one point. Oh, yeah. Bob would have to pass Andy, and then it would be a playoff. Yep, that's it. It's the only option for this one. Is this the high score for the tournament? Since we were talking about high scores. He is in finals. He probably is in finals. He's almost to roll it twice. Andy Russa running off excitedly to play Black Knight Sword Race. He's feeling inspired after seeing his son's wondrous performance on Jack's Open. So close to that double roll here. There it is. There it is. Andrew rolls it twice. Oh, nice. Yeah, that was. And Bob has to sit there and watch all this, further and further. Andrew is showing great patience great skill fantastic A fantastic game for Andrew II. 246,090 points. And the highest qualifying score was? I don't know. What was the highest qualifying score for Jack's Open? You know what? That's right. There was no qualifying on it. Yes, because I believe. Wasn't this the replacement for El Dorado? The replacement game? Okay. This was El Dorado's replacement after El Dorado kicked the bucket. Correct. Bob Matthews now has to pass Andy Rose for the second. Oh, wow. No nudge. Cup insert. Bob going straight to target instead of trying to get back up top. And that dangerous middle target. Trouble, trouble. Oh, man. Oh, wow. Great escapes. Picking off his targets one by one. He got... He got... Shatspreed. Now he needs to shoot for... D. He needed to go for the queen and the king target. Oh, boy. There it is. Now the target's reset. Now he needs to. Oh, no, not again. Again. Four or five. We learned back in. Five. Ball five. Ball four. Ball four. I thought it was a four. Yes. Here's two more balls. Catch Andy Rousen. Bob Matthews, of course, the Indy Classics winner. And he is a well-seasoned player in competition. If I'm not wrong, I think he's the one who coined the Indy name. He is. Which stands for it never drains in Southern California I bet you half the people don't know that's what it is They just call it Indus at this point Yeah, we tried to drop the full name Well Well, from all the officials Well, Bob is, as we speak, he's just past 100,000 Yeah So he's halfway there of beating Andy That's rough You turn it over and, okay, you're halfway there This reminds me, I was in a tournament in Pelham, Alabama the Pinvasion 6 tournament. Do you remember the Pinvasion tournaments back in the Southern Fire Game? Brian Broyles. Brian Broyles. He hangs out, and that's it. As my player cam goes out, all right. He probably just threw it to the ground in hate. Yeah, Brian Broyles, he owns the Portal Pinball Arcade in Kennesaw, Georgia. That's for them. And he put on the Pinvasion 6 in Pelham, Alabama. and I had to play a tiebreaker for second seed against Chris Compton, and we had to play it on Wizard. We had to play it on Wizard, okay? And I end up double rolling the game, and he ends up with $165,000, and it earned me the second seed. And it was like a double roll for a tiebreaker. Jeez And especially on Wizard Of all games But As Carl goes to move the camera rig We are here at the Freeplay Florida 2019 Classics Finals I am Dalton Ely Alongside Ron Hallett And Carl D'Python Anghelo Back in the booth with us And our game is going to be Well actually The other semi-final is going on. Yay! Flip a car! Flip a car! And the crowd goes wild. You will notice a lot of the same games you're going to see. Yes. I think we have five. Four or five games. Yes. We have changed the groups now. We have Don Marakey, Ben Granger, Eric Stone, and Luton the Hornet. So we have a... We've got a good group here and here comes Eric Stone. Stepping up. This is their third final game. This is their third game. Ben Granger looks like he's in the lead with five points. Luke Nahornyak, four points. Eric with three points. He always laid back, never intense, Eric Stone. I actually had the opportunity to play Eric Scone in the finals of the Georgia State Championship earlier this year. And I ended up winning the state championship against Eric Scone in Georgia. Right. And he's... Congrats. Oh, thank you. But he is a... My history of playing Eric Stone is, like, play Dirty Harry, get over a billion, which I think is a good score, and he, like, doubles it. And I get destroyed. Yes, Eric... To put it in perspective how good Eric is, he came up to the Portal Femal Arcade in January for state championship, and in practice, on dialed in, And he put up a score that just a month ago I managed to finally beat for GC. His grand champion score stayed for almost eight months. And he still owns the grand champion of our Iron Maiden premium. And, yes, one day I will pass that grand champion on Maiden. Of course, it is a big, big mountain to climb. Hard to see with his head, but... And if you heard that, that was him. His pinball stance is a streamer's nightmare. Yeah, I can rearrange it and push it back a little further. I would say Eric Stone and also Robert Gagneau and Escher tend to lean way over the game. Yeah, if you watch the 2017 Papa World Championship, you can see Escher's head blocking the flippers and leaning over. All right, he only needs about 300 more points to take the lead on this. I believe this is ball four or ball five? I think ball four. Could be mistaken, though. Eric, he is a great pinball player, but many people don't know he is also a fantastic bowler. And he's also the weatherman for his local news here in Florida. This is his home state, matter of fact. And he is also the person who picked my name in a Project Pinball sweepstakes where I won a Ghostbusters premium. So I will always be rooting for Eric Stone. Oh, wow. Congratulations. It's still on YouTube somewhere. If you win a big prize like that, you've got to keep it forever, right? I mean, for a charity? Yeah, okay, Carl. 5,333 points per error. That makes them currently in the lead with Ben Granger close behind, followed by Don Murphy, and it's all up to Luke Nahorniak. So he's a minimum of two points. He's a minimum of five. So what are our possibilities here? Oh, I hate this part. It involves math. So we have a three-way tie potentially. Yeah, so Don Murkey, sadly, will not advance. Eric, will he catch? How far down do they pay? Eric is guaranteed two points. So Eric is guaranteed to five points. Ben Granger is guaranteed one point. So that will make him at six. If Eric Stone gets first, he'll get six. And if Ben gets... Yeah, you can get six. This is the number crunching part. It has to go between Ben and Eric for the fun stuff to happen. So Don, in the top eight, he will receive... Looks like $148. Wow. According to the current prize money list. Not too shabby. No. Not at all. I don't know if that's, that may be for five through eight. Not each. Right. Yeah. Pits three, yeah. And those are approximate. It may vary slightly. I think Andy Rosa was actually the Pittsburgh pinball open champion. He was not the Cleveland pinball champion. That actually was Luke Nahorniak. So apologies for the misinformation. We're having a rough game. Looks like we are ball four, I can tell by the light at the bottom. It's hard to see, either four or five. If Luke gets last in zero points, he will receive four points, and that will mean Ben and Eric advance. Or... Oh, no. Man, that looks like a long time. Oh. So Luke ends up with four points. He gets a zero for them. Don Murphy gets one point. Ben will get two points. Makes him at seven. Eric will win with six. So Ben and Eric will advance. to our finals. And it'll be the final four. It started at 7? Or what time? I can't read that. I don't have my glasses on. It is currently 9.35. We can hear the mad flipper pressing of the main advanced, of the main qualifying. Two and a half hours to get to the finals, which is good. Desperate attempts to qualify in the top 24. And the qualifying ends at midnight tonight. So you still have an opportunity, if you're listening to our stream, I can't guarantee you'll get all your entries in, but you can try. I've got to take a look and see how many entries. I think I've got like three entries left. Let me take a look here. I have four available entries. Yikes. Okay. Take a look at the main things. I'm still sitting at number 17. I'm not too stressed yet. Yet. Yet. But Carl is sitting pretty at number one, followed by Derek Fugati at number two, and Derek Price retired for second, followed by Eric Stone at 4th, out of the Harmon 5th, Zach Sharp 6th, Alberto Santana 7th, Travis Murray 8th, 3-way tie for 9th between Nick Mueller, Bob Matthews, and Jason Werdrick, Steven Bowden 12th, Sebastian Bobbio 13th, Greg Pavarelli at 14th, Luke Nahorniak 15th, Andy Rose Sr. at 16th, I am at 17th, Andrew Rosa II at 18th, Brian Brian Dominy, 19. Jeff Teola is 20. Adam Lefkoff tied with Jeff Teola. And Dominic Kachik tied with Jeff and Adam. Shannon Stafford at 23rd. And Jeff Palmer is 24th. And Josh Sharpe is right below the bubble. And Josh Sharpe is on the cusp. Don't have kids. Stop blaming that on everything. Hey, Carl, you have kids, right? And you're in where, first? I have one. Yeah, first. Yeah. Yeah. Which was how long ago? It was like 10 hours ago or something? Something like that. Yeah. All right. We've got a, they're working on the, checking the switch on victory, so we have. Ah, victory. Victory. Well, maybe they've already done it. Very interesting play field. And now we'll be the final four between Andrew Rosa II, Jeff Teolas, Ben Granger, and Eric stone and to kick things off we're going to victory which we know in this first and a word from our sponsors The tickets are on sale right now for Indus. You can go to indus.com to buy them. January 9th through 12th at 2020 at the Museum of Pinball in Banning, California. What a promo. 500 pinballs on free play. Basically the replacement for Papa. It doesn't look like it's coming back anytime soon. We lament for problems. We lament. They stream once a week. They can just lament watching all the games. From a very secretive facility. I don't have seen any of those streams. They have like curtains everywhere so you can't see anything. They're still working on victory. What do we know about victory? The rule set always confused me on what I'm supposed to do on that game. Victory consists of spinner shots a lot or you want to go for the checkpoints. There are seven checkpoint shots you need and you have to hit them in order from one to two to three to four to five to six to seven. And when you complete all of them you'll have a checkpoint hurry up which can be some big points and there's also a little upper play field with little flippers on the upper right very interesting play this is a Gottlieb premiere from the 80s around the time of Monte Carlo Genesis era yes like 88 I think victory victory is one of the three two or three vitagraph games they did where they're experimenting with a different, I don't know if it was a clear coat, it was just a different play field surface. Did it with Diamond Lady, Victory, and I think TX Hector. I think so. Also, it was about the time of one of the main tournament games, Robo War, that everyone loves. I like that. I think he's the game. Well, everyone loves that they have a decent game, but then there's the one who loathes it. Including me, because that ramp is a tough shot on RoboWar. It is hard to make from a cradle. It's like it sometimes does not want to go up all the way. Yeah, there are some, I think there's some voltage issues in the room. because I know the Robo war is actually high tap and it's still still hard to get up the ramp if you're just tuning in we're here at the free play Florida 2019 in Orlando Florida the Caribe Royale Hotel I am Dalton Ely alongside Carl D'Python Anghelo and Rob Hallett and this will be the final four of the free play Florida classics tournament Oh, Vitagraph. Yes. Vitagraph. Vitagraph? Yes. Vitagraph. There's an R between the T and the I. Vgraph. How's that? Yeah. There you go. The weird V word. That was the Cotleaf's experiment. They eventually dumped it and just went back to the glacker. Clear coat. Yeah. Me and my father, we actually own one of the Monte Carlos, the Gottlieb Premier Monte Carlos. They are still working on the victory. This extended Indy's Open World Championship advertisement brought to you by IE Pinball. We'd love to thank Carl D'Python Anghelo for his incredible effort and time into giving us a great view of the pinball action And also don't forget to subscribe Subscribe, donate Alright, we are waiting here for a victory to be fixed or tossed out Take a look at the standings again Catastrophic malfunction We're going to flip a card No no no no no no no no No We're going to Meteor We're just going to pull it and bring it over here Make them play Grand Prix That would be interesting And in the finals We have Andrew Rosa II Eric Stone Ben Granger And Jeff Teolis Andrew Rosa the second there have been phenomenal performances by these players from Andrew Rosa double rolling Jack's open Jack's open was double rolled by Andrew Rosa and another roll by Jeff Teolis fantastic balls fantastic ball three fantastic ball two fantastic ball one fantastic games overall and we are still awaiting victory to be fixed. Or tossed. Or tossed and go to flip a card. No. I'm still trying to figure out this million plus insert what game this is from. Fun House. Fun House, okay. There's the steps ramp and the frenzy trap door, that loop. And Andy, Andrew Ross' father, Andy Senior, I'm sure he's very proud of his son making the finals. And we are still waiting on... Uh-oh. So it looks like victory will not be played. Maybe a camera will go to... I ain't going to say it yet. Keep it dispensing. We're going to Tron Legacy No Oh god So that'll be tomorrow There'll be lots of Tron Lots of Tron Lots of Black Knight Lots of You'll see lots of Guardians Yeah So don't worry If you want your classics fixed You need it right now Because tomorrow You probably will hardly see any of them We're going to Robo War Yeah Yeah I want to see that That's the closest thing to victory. I mean, it's the same era. That's why I wish they'd enforce, like, no re-picks and things. Or, like, different era picks. Like, you must choose from this era, this era, and this era or something. Basically like Finberg. But do not worry. It is a Black Knight Pro. is not a premium. It's not a premium. So we will not be hearing until Monday. It will finish. We will not be looping up to $1 billion on ball one. And Koff-Koff a la Escher Lefkoff in Chicago. He was the winner of the Chicago Flipout Expo. And the top four finishers in that Chicago Flipout Expo were all under 20 years old. I think under 18. I think they were under 18. I think technically no one there was old enough to drink. Yes, no one in the top four was allowed to drink. Yep. And we had, it was Escher Lefkoff was the winner, followed by Alexander Kachmarchik was second, and third place was Colin Urban, and fourth place was Jared August. Fantastic. You did that all from memory, folks. You were not looking at anything. That was impressive. Yes, because I was there. I was actually playing in that, and I managed to finish 14th in the A Division. I mean, that was... I managed to watch the A Division action. That Black Knight Sword of Rage was a premium that Escher Lefkoff and Alexander Kachmarcher were playing. Escher puts up one billion on ball one. That's a B, billion, on ball one. and it marked the end of Black Knight premiums for tournament play. Yes. Unless they... It doesn't matter what they do with the code. The folks at Stern Pinball, Tim Sexton, will update the code to nerf the loop value. You can nerf it. I think the players will still hit it up there and just loop all day, or just hit stuff over and over. It looks like we are What are we on? Oh yes, also You may notice You may have seen Adam Lefkoff playing But you're saying, where is Escher? Yeah, where is Escher? Escher is, according to Adam He is at home resting because He quote unquote Has enough Stern Pro Circuit points He is second in the Pro Circuit rankings Escher is And he will be playing in the pro circuit, regardless if he came here or not. I'm going to reboot that camera in the middle. So here we are. So victory is up and running. We're going to lose the scores for just a moment. Just kidding. Keep it as a principle. Take it wild, guys. Wow, he actually hit the checkpoint one shot. now remember it's not just this in lane you have to hit in the saucer right here there's a saucer you have to hit in order for it to count the toaster is pooped it's bootin we will get the player scores up eventually there we go And there's checkpoint three for him. I really like this playfield. It's very interesting. It's a very interesting Gottlieb Premier playfield. Most Gottlieb playfields are fairly interesting. The rules were they kind of maybe not the best. There we are. Just in time for him to finish. He has 1,484,000 and... Jeff G. Ellis stepping up. Apologies for the... with the telestrator blocking the view, kind of. Representing the entire country of Canada. Here's Jeff G. Ellis, A. A. A. Nice strike there, A&O. Oh, he's beat that problem. Okay. Uh-oh. He's just called Dan. There's a problem of some kind. It's necessitating, opening the game up. What could it be? Is the ball in the screw line? Don't look like the ball's in the screw line. Is it? Hmm. Is it that multiple? I think it does. If it does, I have not seen it. I remember playing the virtual version of this. It has two balls in it, but you never actually play multiball. It uses it for another purpose, and I can't remember what it is. It's very bizarre. So it looks like the ball is not in the shoe. Apparently. Which, hopefully, the mech is underneath the playground for that, and not underneath the apron. Okay, we good? I think. Maybe. All right. It appears we are good. And Jeff Teo is stepping up. He is giving a couple of test flips. I don't think Jeff wanted to play this game. Yeah, you're going to be seeing a lot of shots to that spinner. Hey, that counted for checkpoint one. Wow. And now it will shoot right there for checkpoint two. Now it will go up to the upper flipper play field for the checkpoint three on the right side, right there. and it will come down and checkpoint four is the left flipper in lane. Which really shats it. In lane pass. No. Oh wow. It went back in the sugar lane. Like I said, you have to see a ball go out there. The only safe way to get to the guaranteed left flipper in lane is the this ramp right here. It'll come all the way down. That's it. That's it. Come on. Do it. Too late. Too late. You're running out of time. Oh, he went for it. He went for it. They're gone. That's hard. Let me just go get it. He's got points. Oh, look at that. He cheaped it. All right. He actually got the fifth checkpoint. Yep. Two, so. And now checkpoint six nails it for 512,000 points. Checkpoint seven is the right end lane. What are you doing, Jeff? He's thinking, which is never good. Should have shot it here. It'll come all the way down. He was trying to figure it out. Like I said, I don't think he played it well. I can understand. When you're up there playing, it's like you forget all the skills you've learned. Because it's like, it's just, you forget. It's just the pressure is on. He'll get it here. Does that relay one? Checkpoint bonus, he needs to hit the finish line. Oh, I got it, I got it, I got it. Which is the left orbit spinner. Here it comes. Here it comes. Another chance. Boom. Nope. All right. Also, the finish. All right. Great start for Jeff. Also, the finish line targets as your bonus multiplier. Okay, so quick rundown of the checkpoints. Checkpoint one is here, but what really counts here, they hit that saucer. Checkpoint 2 is from the left flipper into here. Checkpoint 3 is this orbit. Checkpoint 4 is this end lane. Checkpoint 5 is this target. Checkpoint 6, this target. And checkpoint 7 is this lane. And the finish line is right here. That's just a quick rundown of the checkpoints after Ben gets a 13,000 point and Eric gets ball to flipper playfield validation style. The zeros are still blinking, meaning he does not have a play to validate until just now. That number one checkpoint has been very selective in terms of how does it go in there. That's one of those deals you see it work for someone else and then you try it like five times in a row and it doesn't work. Then you start getting mad. It is now almost the two-hour warning for the main qualifiers. It is almost 10 o'clock p.m. If you're tuning in, we're here at Freeplay Florida 2019 Classics Finals with Andrew Russell, Jeff Teolis, Ben Granger, and Eric Stone, hometown hero Eric Stone. V3 does have a lot of interesting geometry and shot making. Like, for instance, that round. He didn't get it. He didn't get to 100,000, did he? That was the issue that the game was held up for. This didn't go there. It didn't. Yeah, that ramp, when it's lit, when this is lit for 100,000, that shot is 100,000. And it's also the same. It alternates between this for 100,000 and this shot for 100,000. It's hard to see right there, but that was 100,000 points, I believe. Yes, it was. Yep. And it switches with switch hits, I think. Yes, it does switch with switch hits. Why risk going for checkpoints? Just grind the 100,000-point shot. 100,000 points is no joke. Honestly, Eric's style is usually good at the grindy games, too. Why not go for it? Eric is a wood chopper. Yep. Oh, wait a minute. Is there a center post or is that... It's probably that Gottlieb... Is there in the out-hole? Yeah, the Gottlieb rubber post. But it almost looked like he purposely didn't make no attempt to save that. Just hoping it would hit that, and it did. Yeah, Gottliebs would have like a little post a lot of times in the actual out-hole area. Yeah. That's why you... On all these Gottliebs, you've got to be ready for the Lazarus. Oh! Oh, my. Even he yelled out in... Yeah. Almost... You know the next player's going to get it on the first hit. Yeah, I'm waiting for the swear. I know that. I'm going to start. Hope he does that save again. I wasn't looking. Do it again. I wasn't looking. No swearing, please. This is a PG-rated stream. Correct. Got to keep my YouTube standing, you know, good for kids, right? with all the new restrictions that are incoming. And up steps Andrew Rosa from the start of ball two. He has made great progress of his checkpoints. He is currently on checkpoint six of seven. So he will probably go for checkpoint six. Did he get it? No, that's 2.5. There's 2.6. Alright, now he needs the right end lane. The safe way is to get it right in there either here or there And there it is And Here it comes It going to be three two hundred and seventy thousand points and then finish the then oh oh oh yes yeah there we go that 634 victory for J victory victory plunge literally that was a victory point and now he's talked all over again with the shot that will not work with the number Number one, the dreaded first checkpoint. Is it me or are the fuel targets down? They are down. They are permanently down. That is not working. Okay. You know it's got to be a miniature celebration when someone finally hits that number one checkpoint. Another right to escape the locker. I think they all escaped the locker. There we go. He's got checkpoint one. Now checkpoint two. And Eric is saying, what happened? Come on. Now the checkpoint values look a little higher this time around. Is that the case? I think so. I guess, though, since he completed his checkpoints already, I guess they carry over from checkpoint to checkpoint. I'm starting at 800,000. That seems pretty good. And he needs checkpoint number three. And here's his champ getting up to the upper area. There's a nice little mini flip there. There we go. There's checkpoint three. And checkpoint four is the left end lane of course. So he's going to go back to the upper playfield and hit that upper playfield ramp to get it safely to the left out left end lane. So he's going to hold it. Oh well that was a good ball. Completed the race, Andrew Roscoe. and up steps Jeff Tillis from Canada. Toronto, I believe. Burlington, Ontario is where his house is. He's from Maple Leaf Land. No, Jeff's a good guy. We love the Canadian representation. I'm sure Canada loves Jeff's pinball fun. Pinball's favorite Canadian vinger. FTL. The golden voice of pinball. Of course, Jeff runs the pinball profile show. And will be taking over by FPA next year. At least that's what he's saying. Jeff trying for the checkpoint one. Oh, it was just enough away from the left bumper where we can hit it. Yeah, it's basically Toronto. Every city in Canada is Toronto. Unless it's Montreal or Vancouver. Quebec. Or Quebec. Is that a city or a province? Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. From Winnipeg, Manitoba. Ben looks like he's choosing zoo while we go. There we go. Wow. Got it. Then he hits the checkpoint one, a huge accomplishment in itself. So these are 800,000, so there is no difference between the first one and the second one. So it's doing the same thing over and over again pretty much. Yep. So he is going to... I believe he's trying to tap past... Oh, boy. Oh, no. That was a great day. I hope he's doing that during qualifying. and didn't just decide to do it now. He shouldn't have flipped that right flipper. Yeah, Quebec is both a province and a city. Yeah. I usually know it as a province, that's why. Like Australia is a continent and a country. Except Brian C. doesn't know that, and he's from there. Oh, he hit it. Eric is excited. He is just in, ugh. Eric exclaims in joy for once. Full value, too. Look at that. But, of course, that does deserve some celebration. Whoa. Whoa. And there's checkpoint number two. And that puts him over $2 million. He will be going for checkpoint three. Right up top. You can see flashing there. Boom. Nice little half-foot pair gets into position. Boom. Roll value. Man, $800,000. This Eric Stone head cam is brought to you by IE Pinball. Yeah, I moved. Oh, he went for the shot immediately. On the fly alley pass. That was great. All right, now he needs the checkpoint number five target. Oh, whoa, he actually shats into the checkpoint five target. Someone's going to have to clip that. I really didn't catch that. I was blinking. And there's the number six. He's going on the fly of shats for number seven. He's trying. There it is. There it is. And the finish line, finish line bonus. There it is. See, wow. Impressive. Yeah. Great completion of those last four checkpoints. And a big light show for finishing the race. And now he starts all over. Yeah, someone's going to have to clip that last minute of that shooting from Eric. That was some phenomenal work. Oh, that was beautiful. That's another clip-worthy segment. I'm so tempted to say things like it's partly cloudy with a 0% chance of rain. Whatever that stuff. There he goes. Just an excellent ball. That was a great, great display of accurate flipper skills. Yes, very high level flipper skills. Chatsing on the fly. I mean, who knew it's Eric Stone. And Andrew is stepping up. Currently in second after Eric Stone's. Ball three. Cloudy with a chance of pinball. There you go. Andrew Rosa stepping up. It's a very draining Saturday. The chat is much more inventive than I thought. Wow. Great on the fly checkpoint one shot. And now when it comes down and in the in lane and almost right to number two. Is that number two spot, is it possible to backhand that? Or do you have to, like, perch it up a little bit? No question. Actually, victory is the one game I could not play. I don't know. It just looks like he might come backhanding it. Well, there we go. No need to find out. He's got it. And number three coming up. Right on it. Boom. 751,000 points. that was. Let's see, will he on the fly shat like Eric does? No. No. Safe ways, just get up in the upper playfield and hit that side, that upper playfield ramp. Right there. He changed his mind on the fly. Also you can get up to the upper playfield by hitting the left ramp right here and it will pop into here and you can hit that and go down there. Nice. Nice. Oh, beautiful. Great nudging skills by Andrew. He got those from his dad. That one's troubling. Oh, yeah. Saw that. No warning. Unfortunately, went to the well once too often. And God leave and its infinite wisdom is having you put the initials in during the multiplayer game. Yes. Fail. Yes, that was nasty. Yeah. Just A, A, A, A, A. It's kind of like, I think Lethal Weapon. Robo War does that. Yeah, and Lethal Weapon does the thing where it does the match first. Or no. It does, yeah, it does the match first. So you've already walked away from the game and then it has you put your initials in. I never understood that. I think something like the order of putting initials in will be pretty standard. I mean, the upside of this, you can use that countdown as a tilt countdown. And I guess the advantage is if you want, you can just walk away, and you don't have to come back to put your initials in. Triple A is mine. What is it Triple A is your initials? Well, what about the unfortunate soul whose initials are ASS? The thing I learned is you never give people more than three initials for the high score. Or they will put in very, very bad things. Yeah. They knew that. All right. Here comes Keeler. From one to two. And hopefully to number three. There we go. He's trying to get on that flipper. Uh-oh. A little early on that. Back up. Here's his extra chance. Nice little tip there. Tip over right into it. And live shaft like Garrett. No. No. No. That was way too dangerous. All right. That was stable. And up comes Ben Granger. I think Ben was originally trying to grind up the 100,000, but there's no way that works with all these countdown bonuses that everyone else got. Ben Granger from the Minneapolis area. So almost Canadian. Not quite Canada. Ben steps up knowing he has a mountain range to climb. Yep. But he can hit. So why wasn't he going for the checkpoint? Because he got it right there. We can always interview him later. Oh, yeah. Spinner points? How much does the spinner weigh? 10K a spin? When it's lit? Yes. I believe it is 10,000. Yes, 10,000 a spin when it is lit. All right. So that's about 200,000 points for that spin. All right. He's on his way to number three. And, oh. Too early. Get it up there again. Trouble. Yep. All right. Another chance. Back up top. Try to hit number three. Almost. Oh, there you go. Perfect feet. Oh. A little early. He's a little early. Yep. Still early. There it is. And now to number four. He's going to hold it. Great, great decision. He's going back up top. And now he hits that side. Now he hits the upper ramp to get up top or get to the inlet. Okay, nice air bone. Yes, it aired right back into, there we go. There we go. That was number four. and number five is lit did he know not quite target on the right nice booby got at it that was it that was it now numbers left now the opposite snap yep nice Wow great chat pass Wow when you're not aiming for When you hit checkpoint one. That's about how it goes. The target you're aiming for is the hardest to hit. Now get up there. And. Come on. Hit. And. All right. There's number seven. And if he hits that shot again, he will get the finish line bonus. Oh, he's got no shot right. This counts down. You can see it. It's like true racing, the faster you can do it. Just plunge it in there. Oh, gosh, he power plunged. Almost didn't know. Yes, he did. He got it for 329,000 points, and that puts him up to 3.7 million. If he has checkpoint number one, that would probably push him into third. Oh boy. He was way behind going into ball three, too. This is a really good comeback. Oh, no. It came up. He might have been able to get a piece of it. I think that was our commentator, Chris. We're sorry. So, what's the point of this ramp right here? Just to get it up to the upper play field. Because it's not involved in any of the checkpoints. I see there's an insert in front of it, but I don't know what it is. That's the extra ball ramp. All right. There's an extra ball. So that's it. So Eric gets a victory punch. All right. And Eric walks away with the win, followed by... I guarantee you this will be the longest game of this final. Yep, it is. The next two games will not be anywhere near as long as this. Oh, no. Oh, no. It's us. We're on camera. I don't have my hat on. I look stupid without my hat. Let me put it on. Yeah, I've got the hat here. I don't want to. Well, I have to have my sweater on at all times. It's my gimmick. But, yes, we are here live at the Freeplay Florida 2019 Classics Finals. and we have just finished the first of three games on victory, Eric Stone being the winner. And we will advance as soon as we get the word from Carl D'Python Anghelo. We will move on to the next game. Oh, we got the clip. The alley pass has been clipped. Thank you. Yes, yes. That was a phenomenal display of that power in lane super chat. Super chat. That was a very fast, on-the-fly, lightning-quick reaction time from Eric Stone. That was impressive and well-deserved victory of victory. And now it looks like we're going to Grand Slam. Oh, lovely. Hey, at least it ain't flipper cars. Well, does anyone want to explain the rear of the car? Now, it's harder to see on the screen because of the angle, But this has like the little flip targets. You hit them and they just flip up. Yeah. These targets that spell Homer, they're flipped like a swinging door. I'm sorry. Don't worry. It looked like I was trying to draw a football on a baseball field. You want to try to get them in order. Yes. Up to the right if you can. And this also has the just drain. It has the in lane that's an out lane. Yes. It does have a reverse in lane. Yeah. That means the Valley Trademark I love that That is much like Fathom If you ever played Fathom It does have that And we have no gate Yes there is There's usually a gate Right here A one way gate So You can get the Suicide If you try to Drop in there Much like Think of it as Robo War And it's As far as how hard this is playing, I actually heard an F-bomb from Bob Matthews on this game. So that's how hard it's playing. Yes. Yes. This is a two-player game, so you're going to see Andrew and you're going to see Andrew. Who's this? I was blanked out for a moment. Was it Ben? We apologize. Yeah. There's also the lanes on the top right, which are also, I was told, a big deal because they will get you a grand slam if you can get them. I mean, the rule of thumb on this game seems to be basically just hit it up the middle. Keep it up there where it can't drain. Yeah, you want to get it up in the, you know, get in the loop of shooting up here and hoping it goes in here so you can shoot it again if you've got good reflexes. Yes, that is a very, very fast kick out. Oh, yes, that happened to me several times. Now, the upper left flipper, is that the right flipper button or the left flipper button? It's the right. Or is it the left? It's the right flipper, I believe. Yes, so, yes, it's Jeff. Andrew and Jeff are playing together. And after their two full games are through, we will see Ben and Eric play their two full games. See, that is a very, very quick. Watch this. He jumped the gun a little bit there. Of course, we all know Jeff as the head of, he runs the pinball profile. He's also a huge baseball fan, so this should be great in his wheelhouse. Frequently will attend a major league game in the area that he's playing a tournament. Yep. He told us he wasn't coming to end this one. Oh, no. No games in January. Ah. So, I mean, this right now is wheelhouse. This is a mid-'80s Bally. This is a hard body era Bally Midway. I think this was the 1803 era game. It is. Lovely keypad. Yep. This has a terrible key bed, a terrible cheap fiberboard cabinet. They were in their full cost-cutting mode. This was before pinball kind of got hot again in the late 80s. Yeah. This is like the BMX hard body Dungeons & Dragons era. Dungeons & Dragons. Some of the greatest music ever in a game. Even though it doesn't match the theme at all. What do you think is the best original pinball soundtrack? TNA is up there. Of course. For that style of music. A no-brainer. You know, everybody's going to say Black Knight 2000. Oh, Black Knight 2000. Black Knight 2000. The metal rendition of Black Knight Sword of Rage is awesome. It was done by Anthrax's guitarist, Scott Ian. The guy from Death Clock. I can't remember his name. Was it pretty small? Yes, small. From Metalocalypse. Yes. He's getting those homer targets. He got them all. All right. He has them in order. See, you can tell if it's in order, they'll blink. So they're still in order. So this is what, the max. He got it. That was it. And Jeff is closing in on passing Andrew. He has a bonus. He has, but something can happen. There it is. Jeff has passed Andrew. I think I'm looking at the score displays. Is this a six-digit game? Yes. Yes. Even in a seven-digit era, which is weird. Valley was doing some interesting things this era. Leftover parts? Yeah. But even like the two-player, like no one was doing two-players at this point. Yeah. Yeah, you even got the six-digit down below for the runs. Leftover parts, Carl? I mean, like the rapid fire cabinets that they used? They've never done anything like that. Yeah, never done anything like that. All right, another, he is killing it here. He is surviving. Yes, keep in mind, he does have to play on because of the, the other two players have to play after his game is over. There we go. Very happy with this ball. Yes, Cheekwald, the plastics on this game do look like pajamas. Now this is a Vient Bally 6803, this is the chip they use. They had a lot of addressable lights they could use, so they usually had a lot of inserts on these games. They saw that go. Here they use it for the baseball diamond lights. Check out that bonus. Wow. All those diamonds. Wow. 559,980 points for Jeff D'Olus. He's been killing it. It's been the proverbial on fire. He's cold like the Canadian winter. I mean, even the art on this game is stellar. Look at that great back blast. That back blast is great. Players from the mid-80s obviously all had mustaches like this guy. Oh, yeah. That's what I did. Jim Rice. What year was this pinball machine to be exact? Oh, this has to be like 83, 84. If I were to be a betting man, if I had to pick one, I'll say 84. Consulting Carl over at IPBB.com. 83. I should have stuck it in 83. 81,000 in production. So this is actually a pretty rare game. And if you know pinball, rare means great. Maybe not. Unless it's going nuts. I think he got Homer in order there. And right down the middle for Ben. Alright, Eric Stone steps up. Jeff talking to Carl about the letter T he was trying to hit. He was trying to backhand it, but... Jeff T. Olst is talking? Someone like him. Sorry, man. And here comes Eric. He's got the timing down. That's insane. He did it twice in a row. This Eric Stone head cam is brought to you by... Oh, I got by him that time. And I moved the camera. I moved it so it shouldn't block as much. Yep. Well, it's not very good playing. I did notice, Carl. I did notice. Oh, my goodness. Heart-stopping moment. Oh, wow. That star rollover. He's pointing at that star rollover in anger, and I can tell because the star rollovers here, here, here, and here, they're not perfectly flat against the play field. They're actually kind of like a, it's not flush with the play field. They're a little hills. They're a little more up. You mean the 35-year-old play field is not pristine? Oh, goodbye. Well, meaning the ball can be affected by the star's button, because it's actually a button, and it can push it right out to the outfield. Star rollovers. And that's what happened to Eric. and that's how I got a ball stuck on Sinbad. Stuck on one of, yeah, I think the Sinbad here, which we'll see tomorrow, it has a full play field protector thingy on it. Yes. In the name of Sinbad on the pinball machine, the sin is silent. It's just bad. Oh, my. Fight words. I like Sinbad. I don't like playing in the tournaments, though, because in tournaments it could be a little too, I don't know. No, I'm talking about the tournament one. I ain't talking about the game in general, no. The game is fun. It's just this one is bad. This one is lightning fast, sensitive, and the house, you can own a real estate agency with all the houses. All right, he's got the HBO. So we're in ball three. Uh-oh. That's a tilt. No harm in that. Jeff Teolas watching on. Eric Stone waiting for the tilt to settle. So Ben will end up with 62,920 points. That will give him last. Zero points. which unfortunately means after two games, he will have two points. Here's a baseball joke for you. What happened to the batter who couldn't hit right? He hit left. That's right. Oh. He hit left. I got it. My grandpa told me that one. That's why it was bad. Mike Sinbad. Poor Stenbad. Hey. I wish it was on five ball. It actually feels fair if it's on five ball. Yes, it would be. It would be. I will retract my Stenbad statement if it wasn't on three ball. All right, let's see what Eric can do here. He gets a flip it on. Oh. He literally got one flip and it was gone. All right. Run bonus. Eric's going to get the ball. He got second. Staring knives into the game. And he barely passes Andrew Rosa with 217,000. Maybe next year we'll see Banzai run in the tournament. God, no. That's actually pretty interesting. Not when I've seen it play. It's like, let them go up and don't complete them and just go up to the top over and over and over. And a word from our sponsors. So good. Hey, I know that guy. Fred and Adam. Hey, there's Bongo, there. I'm starving. I've had nothing to eat but peanut butter and like flint bars is all I've had to eat today. Cookies over there. I know, and I've had a couple of snacks of gummies from the pinball lounge. Hey, there's the fountain. Thank you. Again, more info at indus.com. Someone call Steve Richard Someone tell Dalton to play Listen if you come here To the Sinbad You will know exactly what I'm talking about Play better Play better Alright Banzai was down the whole tournament Yeah Banzai never got working I didn't dismiss you What's considered a classic Probably anything not dot matrix. Like, so we have our... Everyone has their own definition, but a lot of it's anything numeric, maybe not alphanumeric, although typically victory here is alphanumeric. So, Andrew Russell will be attempting to duplicate his previous double roll of this game. It would be fantastic if we see another one. Oh. Oh, lovely in lane. Nice getting back up. Too bad. We've got another single player. Yeah, but that Sinbad has probably been the number one entry. And it's also been the shortest queue wait time. Yes. Yes. Either that or Meteor. I got like 150k on it. I was happy. That was all one ball. So a quick rundown of all the main tournament games. We have Tron Legacy, which plays like grease lightning, super, super fast. No ball set. Right next to it, we have an old one-player EM called Volley. And it is super floaty, super bouncy. and right next to that we have RoboWar which was down for the first half day of qualifying it was not even in the tournament because it was down which is Sinbad 2.0 yes, it has been very very hungry it has been stingy as in layout, it is Sinbad yes, yes I thought you were talking about bad But it is 44-690 after it is a ball three. Yes, this Robo War is almost near impossible to hit the ramp to lock the ball on Robo War. You have to do it on the fly. And since it's got the lanes much like Grand Slam, it's hard to trap up on that right flipper to get a shot at it. Right. And, of course, right next to that we have It Sinbad. And next to that we have the Black Knight Sword of Rage Pro Edition. There's no premium. After Chicago Flipouts Finals, you're probably never going to see a Black Knight Sword of Rage premium again in a tournament. Not a larger scale tournament, anyway. No, the Robo War does not have a gate. It does not have a gate. At least I don't think. No, it does not. Yeah, it don't have a good. Oh. So Andrew's having not quite as a good game right now. He's kind of jinxing. All right, he's got his third lane. So now he doesn't want to even wear this. The last ball miracle. Yes. Also. He gets the flip. Oh. 66-770 for Andrew Russell this segment. And up next will be. Will it be Jeff will be up next. And a quick more rundown on, we were at Black Knight Sword and Rage Pro Edition. Next to that, we have Joker Poker. Joker Poker is five ball. And next to that, we have Devil's Dare. Devil's Dare, I spent too much time on that. And we have Guardians of the Galaxy. That is another super, super fast like Tron. And we have Centaur. Centaur and Grand Prix. Grand Prix was fun. I rolled it. I managed to get one million on Grand Prix. But many others have too. And Grand Prix is five ball. And we also have Meteor. So, that was taking a while to get started here. I think it's the Eye of the Tiger or something. The Eye of the Moose. The Eye of the Caribou. The Eye of the Caribou. I guess we have a nickname. Can we call him the Mountie? Interesting. Short first of all there. This is a System 1 Joker Poker. This is not an EM Joker Poker. And it's also System 1 Sinbad, too. Which is preferable. I think EMs have a different rule set. Yes. I actually prefer the solid state. Well, I think the solid states, you know how on EMs, like for volley, for example, you hit two targets at the same time and you only get credit for one. But on System 1s, I think they fixed that. You can hit two targets. Ah, try to dig that out. Could not dig that out. Eye of the Tiger is the EM version of Spin Badge. Eye of the Tiger is actually the two-player. Two-player. Yeah. Eye of the Tiger. Dalton, for your information, you're only four points above the cut line. Uh-oh. Uh-oh. Uh-oh. Need to leave the booth? Well, I'm still at 18. Yeah, you've only dropped one in how many hours? Well, I mean, we've got an hour and a half to go. All right, call four. Again, he is behind Andrew. We've already, oh, boy. Maybe I'll hop in on a couple more games before I leave. But this is the last game, right? This is it. Yeah, this is it. This is Jeff Gillis' last ball. Yep, Jeff Gillis stepping up, potentially his tournament life on the line. Taking a little extra time. Yeah, these scores are putting stone, and he's probably getting pretty happy as a champion. Oh! Not a good finish. 44,480 for Jeff Gillis. All right. It all comes down to Eric right now. Eric Stone, yes. Ben Granger sadly will not. Well. So right now if Eric passes Andrew, it's over. Yes. If Eric passes Andrew, Eric wins. It all depends on. then I believe whatever Ben does will affect if Andrew and Jeff will have to play a tiebreaker or not. Here we go. One jack. Two jacks. Look at that. Snipe those two jacks. Boom, one queen. Boom, two queens. Not even hitting the other target. And there's the third queen. Look at that. Pinpoint accuracy. Now he needs the three queens and king. Oh my god. How did that drain? See that little nudge he gave right at the end? Man, that was great. Don't tilt. If he passes Jeff, that means Jeff is guaranteed. Well, he ain't guaranteed. a point at all. But Andrew, on the other hand, he is guaranteed one point since he has passed Jeff. So they'll put Andrew at one. That'll make him at least Andrew will get a grand total of four points at least. The balance for first place, which is looks like it's worth at least $1,107. So Eric Stone has got a good chance of walking away with that money. So if you win, you could buy several jacks open if you wanted to. If you ain't got a triple. I would not advise it. I would not advise it. I would buy maybe a couple meteors, maybe a couple stars. Oh, boy. Get a couple of Grand Prixs. Ball for it. Two more balls here. That middle queen is always the killer But he has passed Jeff So Jeff can only Get one point At the most If Eric passes Andrew Eric will Automatically be the winner. He's just going at those targets. And we can hear him. He needs two more targets. We can hear Eric through our headphones. He got it with that 5K. That 2,000 passes Andrew Rosa and that means Eric Stone is our winner. Eric Stone will be the winner of the Classics for Freeplay Florida. Congrats to Eric. So congratulations, Eric Stone, for the well-deserved Classics victory. You have won over 1K. $1,000. And depending on what Ben does here, it will decide on whether If Ben passes Jeff Jeff gets zero points And that means Andrew Oh my gosh Alright, if Ben passes Jeff But does not pass Andrew Andrew will get two points for five And Jeff will get zero Meaning Andrew will get second If Ben gets If Ben gets fourth It'll be It'll be a tiebreaker If Ben gets fourth Jeff will get one point Andrew will get two points It'll be a 5-5 tie between Jeff and Andrew If Ben passes Andrew and Jeff both That means What was that? I don't have a detail. They just missed the button. Oh, that's terrible. Yeah, but if Ben passes both Andrew and Jeff for second, Andrew will get one point, Jeff zero. And that means they will have a tie. So There will be a tie between Jeff And Andrew If Ben passes them Or if Ben does not pass both If Ben passes Jeff But not Andrew Andrew will be second And Ben has passed Jeff But he has not passed Andrew like we said So that means Oh wait My mistake, there's one more ball. One more ball. It's going. It's all coming down to this. He just needs 7,000 more points. And there's 3,000. One more target. Boom. Boom. Yep, he's got it. Ben is path Eric. So that means Andrew will get two points Jeff will get one point Or no Jeff will get zero points We have no tiebreaker That's what That's what this means Andrew gets one Oh wait no you're right Andrew and Jeff Andrew and Jeff have a tiebreaker At four points apiece Meaning Jeff and Andrew Will have to play a tiebreaker Do they have to Or can they split the money Rock paper scissors No Maybe I can cue myself in on something. I think I have like five more inches left. You what? Yeah, I'm sitting at 18th. I'm okay with that, but I do, I'm like four points away from the cutoff line so looking through here for cues. Yikes. Lots of cues here. As long as I'm in the top 24 by 12 a.m., I'm all right. I'll be happy with that. So, again, thanks to everyone for watching the Classics Finals. Maybe I'll join Tron. I'm going to join Tron. You're going to do Tron. I have a feeling I can blow that game up. Tron Legacy. Yes. Or Gone Legacy. That's the more games of it. Yeah. Me and Baden were talking about the real names of them. We'll say Gone Legacy. Volley for Volley. What I want to know. Can't say what Robo War was. Bad for Sinbad. Black Knight Rage. In the 90s At Williams They would have very Inappropriate names For their Codenames for their games Or mean Like high speed Would be high cost Yeah That's what they called it That's what I want I want to hear an interview with them And just go over all the different names And there was Choker Poker Like Choker Choker Poker Devil's Dare was just left Because that's exactly what it is It's Dare with the Devil and Guardians of the Galaxy just we couldn't thank the Lord for that alright the tiebreaker is going to be on this wonderful game sorry folks alright if we have to sit through it you do too you know you should play Pinburg folks because you'll learn that there's a lot of really really bad games out there So appreciate the good ones. So this is the tiebreaker for second place, Eric Stone being the winner. This second place will be between Jeff Teolis and Andrew Rosa the second. And it looks like Jeff may go first. And if I recall, Pinberg wasn't Andy Rosa. He was in a playoff with Don Yelly, I think. Andrew Rosa finished third in the Pinberg this year. I think he was in a playoff with Don Yelly. It was Keith Elwin, Daniele Acciari, and Chris Stevens were the women. Not less known names. Those names are well known in the pinball community. Carl would remember this. Sorry, I wasn't listening. Pinberg. Yes. Wasn't it Daniele versus Andrew, like in a playoff? Yeah. I think. Yeah, they actually had a playoff tiebreaker. Yeah. I think they had to play like Willy Wonka or something. Ah. And come the free play Florida, folks. They're still open. They'll be open tomorrow. Also, that Andrew Rosa, he actually played a tiebreaker with Jim Belcedo on pro football. Oh, yes. And that was amazing. He had like a, I think, whoa. Oh, Lazarus. I think Jim finished with, what was it, like 80-something thousand? Andrew came all the way, climbed the hill, and beat that score, I think 90,000 to 80,000. And it was a well-deserved spot into the final four. Once again, folks, if you're in the Orlando area or near the Orlando area, check us out at Freeplay Florida. Well, at this point tomorrow, it will be open from, I think, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. You can play the Willy Wonka Collector's Edition. They also have a Wizard of Oz. Yeah, Yellow Brick Road. They have the Star Wars with the new comic book art. I love the new comic book art for the Star Wars. It looks so much better. I mean, it gives off the Data East Star Wars feel. Oh, that was some wicked spin. I think overall though, Jeff will be very satisfied with the Classics performance. I'm sure Andy Senior is very proud of Andrew right now. He's very proud of him this year, especially finishing third in that. Wow, the hole just grabbed it. He's like a magnet. But I'm sure he's very proud, especially of that Pemberg. Playing in a group with two multiple-time world champions. Keith Elwin and Daniele Acciari, I think they have like more than... They've got like more than seven world championships between them. So he finishes with... 4,600 points. 6 or 8? 8.6. 6. $4,640. And it comes down to Andrew. This is for the second place money. How much money do we get for second place? Second place money is $664. So this game is for $202, $227. Yep. Whoever finishes gets $220 more. I guarantee when Flip-A-Card was designed, they never thought a $200 game would ever be decided on it. I guess we jinxed it saying we're going to see Flip-A-Card, and guess what? We're actually seeing Flip-A-Card. Yeah, we are. Almost a trap. Very impressive. Goes into the hole of doom. I really want to see this game end before I get up on Tron. I've got like two more players before I go up on Tron. Is it me or is this leaning to the left a little bit? It's very possible. Or it's warped. Or it's warped. Or it's possible, yes. That's also possible. Flip a card is warped. Without the warp. And we got Jeff Teolis. Jeff Teolis has joined us next to the booth watching. on ball four. And Andrews tests out the ball four. Jeff Gillis watching on. Seeing if he gets the extra $200. Andrew needs to pass $4,000. $640. Those 100-point bumpers are massive. And here we go. $45.53 he's currently at. Not yet. Not yet. There we go. Done. There we go. Andrew Rosa passes. Jeff Teal is on flip a card. Whoa. He is tackled. Off camera. Wow. Jeff Teolis tackles in joy and or anger Hidden And that's it And that concludes the classics That was fun Eric Stone the winner Followed by Andrew Rosen II And Jeff Teolis And Ben Granger Ben Granger And I am Dalton Ely We're also called Angela and Ron Allen And we thank you for watching And stay tuned until tomorrow So, finals, whenever that may be, whenever Carl decides to come up. Oh, he's got a time? Well, it starts at 9 a.m. It starts at 9 a.m. I'm seeing when I show up. Okay. So, like I thought, when Carl shows up. All right. It'll be early tomorrow morning. Between 9 and 10, we'll start broadcasting. Thank you all for watching. I had a pleasure broadcasting. Thank you. If you all don't mind, I have to go play Tron. Go for it. All right. Thank you all for listening, watching. Appreciate it. And thanks for the subscriptions and the bits. Don't forget Indisc, which is January 9th through the 12th. We'll run that one more time, and then we'll go offline. See you all later. See you later.
