This past Saturday and Sunday, the 10th annual IFPA European Pinball Championship was held at Lund Pinball Academy. A field of 64 based on the ECS standings traveled to Lund, Sweden, to crown a new European Pinball Champion. Congratulations to Viggo Löwgren of Furulund, Sweden, our 2026 IFPA European Pinball Champion! Viggo defeated on the way to his title Ralf Lindinger, Andrew Foster, Jiro Suvanto, Pontus Qvarfordh in the Semi-Finals and defending Champion Timber Engelbeen in the Finals. Viggo won a NIB pinball machine courtesy of Stern Pinball. Fifth placed Jiro Suvanto from Helsinki, Finland won the very last spot to compete at the IFPA21 World Pinball Championships to be held in De Pere, Wisconsin later this year. Congrats to the top 4 finalists, who played amazingly well all weekend. Our gratitude goes out to all the competitors who came to support the event and make it a success.
