## Analysis

IE Pinball streams live coverage of the Pinburgh 2020 Satellite Tournament at Riverside Game Lab, a qualifying event for the major Pinburgh tournament. The broadcast features multiple tournament rounds across various Stern and modern pinball machines (Tron, Stranger Things, Game of Thrones, Iron Man, etc.) in a strikes format, with commentary on gameplay, machine setup, and player strategies. Notable discussion includes machine technical issues (loose rubber foot on Tron, tight tilt on Indiana Jones), operator setup variations affecting playability, and tournament format details.

### Key Claims

- [HIGH] The tournament uses a strikes format where players accumulate strikes throughout competition, with 4 strikes resulting in elimination. — _Narrator describes standings and format: 'Four-strike tournament. In a four-player group, players three and four get one strike. In three-player groups, player three gets one strike.'_
- [HIGH] First place finisher gets free entry to the main Pinburgh tournament on the 22nd; second and third place receive one-day passes to Arcade Pinball Expo 6.0. — _Narrator explains prize structure: 'First place obviously moves on...they don't have to play the game on the 22nd...second and third place get a one-day entry into Arcade Pinball Expo 6.0.'_
- [HIGH] The Tron machine experienced a mechanical issue where the rear left rubber foot came completely off during play, causing the game to wobble. — _Narrator: 'The rear left rubber foot on the game was completely off...I had to have another person I assigned as a TD for the tournament determine what the correct course of action was to be.'_
- [HIGH] Indiana Jones has a very tight tilt setting due to using a replacement tilt rod that is not the correct part for the machine, making it shorter than the original. — _Kyle explains: 'The tilt rod broke, and then some of the other guys that work on the Games, they brought in a replacement part, which is not the right rod for a super pin. So it's short. It's very short. So the tilt, Bob, is super tight.'_
- [HIGH] Stranger Things has a randomized 'upside down' mode that can significantly impact tournament play, creating balance concerns for competitive settings. — _Narrator discusses mode mechanics and tournament implications: 'If this isn't changed by then, and you have this randomized upside down, I don't know what dynamic that's going to be.'_
- [HIGH] Operator settings can deliberately make games harder (e.g., affecting ball feed angles and playfield pitch), which affects gameplay consistency across different locations. — _Dave explains: 'As an operator, you can deliberately set the game harder...in this case, this one is set hard because it doesn't feed to that flipper.'_
- [HIGH] Riverside Game Lab opened this year and is hosting Pembroke Satellite tournaments. — _Narrator: 'Game Lab did just open this year' and mentions hosting 'Pembroke Satellite Tournament.'_
- [MEDIUM] The Iron Man Vault Edition at this tournament was recently at Mission Control and previously at Texas Pinball Festival. — _Narrator: 'The Iron Man at the high stakes bank is owned by the museum...This one has been around for a while. It used to be at Mission Control, and then it was brought here to Riverside Game Lab.'_
- [MEDIUM] Multiple Southern California launch parties for a new game are scheduled on the 15th (The Ace), with events at Captains and other locations following. — _Narrator mentions upcoming launch events: 'I think for SoCal, the first one is The Ace. Yeah, I think on the 15th. Saturday the 15th, yep. And then right after that, I believe, is Captains maybe on the Sunday?'_
- [HIGH] One of the main techs at Riverside Game Lab has been out sick with the flu for a week and has not been able to perform play-testing duties. — _Narrator: 'One of the main techs here has had the flu for the last week. He does play test the games. Oh, Jay? Yeah. He has not been out about it. He's been out sick.'_

## Transcript

Oh for half a second. And then let's transfer it into another double L win. Into a double catapult super. What are we witnessing here with all of this? Oh, look. Oh, Ray got it. Clark. Is it Clark? Clark got it first. A, uh... Oh. What? What? What just happened? We gotta wait until the ground is clear. Oh, because they're... They are... They are just, uh... Johnny spent 100 million, I think. Ron's up right now, so... Oh, he is? Yeah, Ron's up and then Derek. So Derek, that's a... Hello, anybody that's joined us, we are at the Riverside Game Lab. Thank you, Riverside Game Lab for the Pemberts Satellite Tournament. Yes, we are. And I'm the one drinking. No drinks here. Exhausted enough for the day. We're going to show what we can. We don't have any commentators right now. Well, I mean, right now we do. It's my job from that here. And I'm very close to being eliminated, so then I'll just be over here. Once the round starts, we won't have anybody. That's what I'm trying to say. So right now we've got two games finishing up, one on Stranger Things, one on Sopranos. Stranger Things is nearly finished, and Sopranos sounds like it's nearly done also. So once those are done, we'll build the round, we'll move the rig to something, and have something to show you finally. You're not playing well today, Matt, huh? No. No, I had three strikes in a row, and then the last two games just barely clinging to life. Well, that's all you need. Yeah. You can make it all the way through. Well, that's why I started drinking, because I got to that point and I said, okay, three strikes in on the first three games. So is that relaxing you more? Is that why you're playing better? Well, now I just don't care. You play better when you don't care. I do. But alcohol does kind of impair you at the same time, so it's a tradeoff. True, true. Yeah. Oh, we got some people. Hey, Nap Arcade, how you doing? How's your day going? So this is a tournament to win an entry in Timber. If you want it, where are you going? Are you going? I've got a hotel. I am absolutely going to try to go this year. So I've got a few people who are going to try and get tickets when they go on sale, because I'm not going to win this. You don't know that yet. You can still make it. I've resolved myself that that's okay. But, yeah, no, I'm absolutely, it'll be my first time. I had a different page. Oh, there's my page. She's just waiting on the Sopranos still. I wonder if I can peek around the corner here. And these are the standings right now. Raymond Ashby, the only player remaining with zero strikes. Four players with one strike. Five players with two. No, no, more than five players, I'm saying. We're waiting on this last game, which everyone in that game has two strikes. This is a four-strike tournament. In four-player group, players three and four get one strike. In three-player groups, player three gets one strike. And this is the same format all the Pimbroke Satellite tournaments will be using. Thanks to the host, Anonymous, and Boo-Boo, who's over in the room right to the left here, who obviously did that from here. Howdy, Pimble Howard. So, what's the camera on right now? It's not on anything we can watch, right? It's just on Iron Man. It's just on Iron Man. Yeah, it was just my setup game just to make sure everything was working. All right, so we're waiting. And that's definitely not the current standings. So the lineup, we can look at the lineup for the arenas today. It's Iron Man, Sopranos, Doctor Who. Batman, Dark Knight, Game of Thrones. Indiana Jones. Right. Star Wars Pro. Stranger Things Pro. And then Tron and Viking. Right. Only one old game in there, unfortunately. But Viking's so fun. It is. It is. Unfortunately. Yeah, yeah. I agree. Yeah, yeah. It hurt me on the last one, but it's still, you know, it was fun. What do anybody watching, what do you guys want to see out of that bank? What do you want to... I mean, we're going to have six games in play or five games? But if people are like, hey, here's the top three. Yeah, we'll have five games in play. I don't think I've seen Stranger Things. We just played a long game on that, so I don't think it's going to get played again next round. Because the software actually tries to balance the game, too. Gotcha. Viking, if it's a good one. Viking was a great one to put up. We put that in the state championships two weeks ago, which was here at the game lab also. The top group. That's a good call, too. That's a good call, too, yeah. And we can't see what's going on because we are actually around the corner from the game. Yeah, I keep peeking around the corner. Okay, so Derek is up now. Ron just finished. And he's the last player on... On Supremes. Yeah, this cable's not very long now. Yeah, he's just about to plunge, so... And he has to play, apparently. Thank you for following iiii... It... It? I... 14791. Thank you. I'm trying to appreciate anybody watching the channel. I'm trying to figure that out. Like, it's ITGIFT. It's GIFT ID. Okay, if you're in the chat, let us know what that means. Are we done? No. Yeah. Anytime anyone walks in here. Makes me think the game is over. Oh, he's got a long way to go then. That's a lot on Sopranos. 50 million deficit on Sopranos is a big gap. Yeah. Just to get second? Just to get second? Yeah. So, again, we're here at the Riverside Game Lab. That's a, yeah. Over 100 million on Sopranos in a tournament is a very good score. So we had a lot of prizes we gave away too. I just gave Jockton his Papa Pint glass, which was supplied by the Replay Foundation. We also gave away several t-shirts, buttons. Jockton donated a pair of pin shades. I donated three decks of critical hit cards. Shirts. And then we also have two for the first place obviously moves on to they get their entry in Pembert today. They don't have to play the game on the 22nd, which, you know, the game of a thousand people trying to get into Pembert. Yeah. And then second and third place get a one-day entry into Arcade Expo 6.0. Which will have a tournament on the Saturday, I believe. Correct. Correct. And that's a good value because it's 60 or 65. 60, something like that. It's probably 60 today, 65 as we get closer kind of thing. Nap Arcade, yes. Game Lab did just open this year. All right. I'm told we are done. We have our results in. Although they're not. They are in. All right. Close round. Start next round. Okay. Top group is on Tron. We'll go to that apparently. Somebody else suggested bottom group because those people are leaving. That is on Stranger Things. Somebody wanted Stranger Things. Why don't we go to the bottom group? I'm going to put him on Stranger Things. All right, guys. I'll move the rig. Yep. Carl's going to move the rig over. I'm going to jump off and go play whatever game I'm assigned to. Player four on Indiana Jones. Oh, I'm player four on Indiana Jones, which I've never played in my life. So that'll be fun. I've never played the game in my life, but that's okay. All right, guys. So I'm going to jump off. I'm going to go probably not do well at Indiana Jones, but we'll let you guys watch some Stranger Things. And then Carl will be back in a second to get that showing up on the screen. All right. Let me get this camera moved over to Stranger Things and hope it's working. It is working. You just missed the first ball of player one apparently. So, we are not going to have commentators for this game. Enjoy watching, I hope. I'll try and come by in between balls. I'm playing Tron. What player am I on Tron? I'm player one. I must go and play my ball. So, enjoy watching Stranger Things. We'll have commentators as they become available. That was fun. Okay, we just had a little issue on Tron. When I was playing, I noticed the game wobbled when I nudged it. I didn't think anything of it. The rear left rubber foot on the game was completely off. I mean, like, completely off. So, since I'm in the game, I had to have another person I assigned as a TD for the tournament to determine what the correct course of action was to be. And that was to put the Rebel Hood back on. And unfortunately, player two got a tilt warning, but just one tilt warning, so not too bad. Could have been worse. SirQuestingHood, by the power of purple. Yes, this game is so purple, isn't it? So what do we have? Ball two on here. Yeah, it's tournament setting with no extra ball. Of course. So this is Dave Hill And I want to point out Dave Hill Because Dave was a tremendous help During Indy One of the core people That we could not have done a tournament As well as we did Without him Without him Without Jay Collins Both of them were just I have no words So Dave's got his lock ready on the left ramp, but it looks like he's trying to pull in the mode first, which is shooting three shots on each. That did not get him through it. So he's trying to shoot up here to go all the way around. his last one before I assume shooting the lock. I'm going to think that it's on lock three. That's a ball state. So there's a little insert right here. I forgot what lights is. I've only played this game twice. But it's basically a ball state. A virtual kickback, as you would call it. Do we have any classics on rotation? We only have one classic game in this thing. And that is Viking. The massive toy in the middle, will we ever see it? I don't know. I played it on my game just because I was already ahead. I would not have shot it otherwise. So that's ball two locked. Okay, so now he... Oh, this is his second multiball two. So you know... So the first multiball, you hit these two targets once, the two targets on the ramp once, and that lights the lock for all three balls. each subsequent multiball, you have to hit both targets to light each individual block. And he's going for the Demogorgon. So yes, you will see it. So he's got to shoot up here into the hole right there and it's not so simple. Nice call, Little Fish. So I shot this maybe seven times without it going in. at this point I said no I don't think so well the ball said I don't think so and drained out he's having a hard time getting it in there but his aims also off he's either too far left or right he hasn't really made a center shot that was a center shot but it had too much velocity So it went over the mouth of the Demogorgon. Nice, nice move there. And he also started Demodog breakouts. He's just shooting Demodog targets, these ones that are flashing. Here, here, as I sloppily draw on the screen. There. And that's that. So he takes the lead. Well, the bonus is going to be pretty big here, too, depending on how far you've gone in your multiplier. So $10 million bonus on a $37 million score. That's, I mean, almost a quarter of a score. I'm up. Goodbye. Goodbye. And I'm back. So here we have Derek Price fighting for his life. In fact, all these players are fighting for their life. Four strikes and you're out. Two players in this group are going home. Their Pember dreams will end here. Well, they'll still have a chance on the 22nd, but they have to get lucky with the lottery. Derek, a very solid player. San Diego is scared of him. He's from San Diego. He's in the upside down now. Fun ball of Tron. That was me missing the left orbit four times from the draining. That was not nice. All right. You can backhand the left ramp on this game. And that's, yep. I was going to say that, and he was shaking the cart a bit there. Yeah, this shot, it could cradle up, and then backhanding up this ramp works beautifully on this game. So if the lock's lit, I would do that every time. Thankfully, that's only ball two for Derek. He's not that far behind, and he's got that lock ready. Matt's stepping up, putting a timer on the game. Thank you so much, Rick. Thank you. Thanks for coming. It's a lot. You didn't win anything with Apple, right? And commentators are coming. I can be relieved here. So, yeah, for Matt, time should be expiring soon. Derek tilted on Stranger Things, so Matt's waiting for it. Other Matt survives again somehow, magically. Well, because you don't care anymore, that's fine. Yeah, I just had no idea what I was doing on that game. Somebody gave me a little bit of advice and it helped out. Which game? Uh, Indiana Jones. Okay. Basically, all I did in the game was the multiball, which was just enough to get me a second place. I got that. So what have we got? Matt's up? We've got a pretty close game between three players and then Matt. Oh wow, yeah. 38, 48, 34. So Dave right now is guaranteed. Dave's in the lead. No, he's not. It's only ball two, so no one's guaranteed. Oh, it's ball two. Sorry, I thought it was ball three. No, ball two. Oh, perfect. I was pretty sure it was ball two. It looks like it, yeah. I can maximize this temporarily. Oh, there you go. Yeah, ball two. Yeah. And, yeah, none of those scores are that crazy. If you haven't played this game yet, there's a couple high-scoring things. Obviously, the multiball. Yeah, the multiball. That's, I mean, you just have to go for it. Yeah. The other thing is, if you ever get into upside down, which I don't know, we set it for tournament mode. Yeah. But I don't know what it's... From what I heard, it's a... It's still sort of random. Yeah. Yeah. So, it'll randomly, what'll happen in that is the entire game goes dark, and then the drop targets in the center are all worth a hurry up value. Right. That starts at like 7.5 million. So if you get all four of them real quick, you can really rack up points. So I would just go for the multiple now. That was my strategy with this as well. He's in the upside down now. So upside down, it's absolutely vital to hit those drops, which he's done. Look at that. Look at his score. He's back in the game. And that's the problem with the upside down when it comes to tournaments. Right. Is that that is still sort of random. Because, yeah, exactly. Well, we'll see what they have ready for the launch party in two weeks or so. Yep. I think for SoCal, the first one is Ace. Yeah, I think on the 15th. Saturday the 15th, yep. And then right after that, I believe, is Captains maybe on the Sunday? On the Sunday? Yeah. And then there's one on Tuesday and another one, I don't know. Mission Control, I think, and then there's San Diego. Yeah, there's a lot happening. The last one is Heads Up, and that's always fun. Yeah. Yeah. But if this isn't changed by then, and you have this randomized upside down, I don't know what dynamic that's going to be. Yeah, it's going to be an interesting thing. So this is anyone's game right now. Paul stepping up does not have his lock lit. It looks like he must have played one multiball already. Or maybe not. We don't know. But he needs that target right there. Yep. So on the first multiball, it's very simple. You get both of those stand-ups once, and you can lock all three balls off that. After you've done one multiball, then you have to hit those stand-ups for each ball lock. Backhand it. Backhand. Yeah, backhand into that stand-up. Yep. And I will say, from my standpoint, the backhand into that ramp is way easier. Yeah, that's why I was telling the chat here. Paul missed it there, but it's definitely good. Whoa. What happened there? Why did it give him the lock? Why did it give the lock? Did it not give him the lock? No, it gave him the lock, but he fell in this thongster right here. He didn't make it to the ramp. Huh. So this is, again, this backhand into the ramp is the right move. He looks like he's trying to post-transfer, though. Oh, there he goes. Three ball, two. Ball, two, lock, yep. And again, since this is his second time doing a multiball, He's got to hit those stand-ups again to get to light it. Right. All right. I'm going to go check on my Tron game. I'm probably up soon. All right. Cool. Oh, that looks like it's going to end him. He'll get some good bonus on that because a couple chapters complete. So that'll put him in an all right score, 54. We've got Dave coming up with 48. Looks like he's got Locke lit. All right, and that actually puts Dave into multiball. So 49 with a multiball is a good place to be. In this multiball, really everything you can see, all those blue flashing inserts, they are all lit up for regular jackpots. After a certain number, one of those will be lit for a super jackpot. You did not win. Our names aren't here. I'm fortunate. I don't win nothing. There is an add-a-ball in this. The shot right to the left of the drop targets, if it is lit for mystery, mystery will always give an add-a-ball while the multiball is running. And as far as modes go, so he just started a mode, you'll see those inserts right below. There's four sets of inserts. And each of those shots, if you hit them three times, will then start a mode, which then locks out that particular shot until all four modes have been played. Dave just hit that inner loop shot, which in regular play, when you come up here, will come around and actually give, it alternates between, I believe the spell of protection, which is your left outlaying virtual kickback, and then I believe the alternate is mystery uneven ones? I can't remember exactly. Playfield multiplier. Yes. Thank you, L Anonymous. Playfield multiplier and and that left kickback, which is called spell of protection and then the four inserts on the in lane and outlanes are actually what light mystery now that I remember. They're the dice. Dave is having a great ball here. Clinging to life and doing a good job of it. So he got the mystery, which as I said earlier, anytime you're in multiple, if you can light and get the mystery it will automatically be an add a ball. So he's got the super lit on the left but that was only a single super righty so he should have shot the ramp to lock the second ball so to speak. Yes. Yeah you can... to double it. That's a good point during that multiball if you shoot that ramp You can lock a ball for a second, and it's, I don't know, 10 seconds or something like that. Right, because once the super's lit, it lights this. You'll see the green lock shot lit there, locks the ball, and then you can shoot here and get 24 million instead of 12. But I think he's probably pretty happy with the 12 that he got and with the score he's got right now. Probably. All right, he's on his second Demogorgon, I believe. Yes, second level of Demogorgon, so he must have already done the first one. And this is a multiball. And it is a multiple, yep. And it still won't go in? It still will not go into that thing. I've played three different tables of this now, and on one of them I was able to make it fairly consistently from the left flipper. Okay. On everything else, can't hit it with 50 shots. Sadness. Yep. I guess you're getting 500,000 per hit? Yeah, I think you still get value for the hit, which is not bad, but it's nothing compared to the value of actually getting it in. All right, so what are we looking to do now? Just go back to multiball or start the mode? Well, so he's got two modes complete, which means he can't start a mode from either of those shots anymore. Right on the left side, right. But he does have some progress on those right-hand side modes, which is really... Right, but at the same time, I think there's just so much more value in the multi-balls. Yeah, stacking it is great, but at the same time, it's not even worth fighting to stack it. Right. If you can just get into that multiball... Like that loop, I don't even bother shooting the... That loop? That depends on the machine as well. What I've seen, again, playing three different ones was when it's aligned in a certain way, it will actually feed directly to that left flipper. Right, right. And you can sit there and kind of loop it multiple times, which is great. It's a great feeling, and you get the left outlane kickback, and you get playfield multiplier from it. up but on in this case and I've seen this on multiple of these where that that left drop is just going to drop right into the sling and then it's out of control All right, so Derek has got a mode going now. Dave's over here like, oh, I'm done. He's not safe by any means, but it's up there compared to everybody else. I feel good for him. Yeah, yeah. I feel good for him. But Derek and the multiball, you know. Derek's got a multiball going with a mode spec. He did just get the mode right beforehand. I have no idea on the modes on this game. What's more valuable than what? I don't. So I will say there's a couple modes that I found are great, especially if you can stack them in the multiball. And these right-hand modes, these inserts here tell you which mode you're going to get when you actually get it. One of those is, I don't remember the actual thing, it's like quarter collect or something like that is the name of it. Ooh, and Derek is out of the multiball. That one is worth a ton in a multiball because every shot is just adding up exponentially values. The way you change between the modes is through those pop bumpers at the top. Ah, okay. So if you can hit that right orbit, you can get it up there, and all the modes will change based on those platforms. Derek is, this may steal Derek's fate right here. He needs $9 million in bonus to stay alive, and I don't think he's going to get it. No. That would be it for Derek. Derek is eliminated. He had some tough games. He and I were in the first game where we both had a strike on our first game. Wow. Break out the twisted tea. I'm a little concerned that my Tron game is finished yet. I'm going to bring Dave on here. Mr. Dave Hills, TA. That's me. Threw up a really good score there on Stranger Things. It's just surprising because I've never really played this game. I just keep thinking Attack from Mars and keep lighting all the shots. We talked about it beforehand. I said it's multiball. All you've got to do is focus on that multiball. Right. And left end, it's easier from the left flipper than from the right flipper. So right here, again, if you backhanded up that ramp as opposed to... See, he's trying to post-transfer. Yeah, that's... And it's a harder shot from the right flipper that I found than from the left. Yeah, I agree. It's a pretty easy backhand. And this is the feed we're talking about. It's a sling. Yeah, it's... But, you know, Stern has it set up one way, and then you put it in the wild, and people have a different pitch and different angles. And it's something important. You know, some people were talking in chat about Stern and about quality control. Something to remind people is also that it also is an operator setting. Right. As an operator, you can deliberately set the game harder. Yes. In this case, this one is set pretty hard because it doesn't feed to that low flipper. Yeah, you'll find you'll go to places where operators and techs will play the game to test the game. Yeah. And then other locations where people will just go and, oh, is it flipping? It flips. Okay, we're cool. Oh, yeah. So. Unfortunately, one of the main techs here has had the flu for the last week. He does play test the games. Oh, Jay? Yeah. He has not been out about it. He's been out sick. Oh, all right. People complaining about which raffle prize they got. I got none. We're still waiting on Tron, it looks like. Okay, yeah, Carl ran back up there. Yeah, player one. He was probably having to play. Did you survive? I did. I barely survived. I barely survived. Gave you the quick tutorial on Indiana Jones. Yep, and it paid off. I survived because of hitting exactly what you told me to do. Shoot center, lock balls, shoot ramps. Yep, exactly what I did, and I barely made it. And then I still tilted even though you warned me that it was tight. So the tilt on that is extremely tight. The tilt rod broke, and then some of the other guys that work on the games, they brought in a replacement part, which is not the right rod for a super pin. So it's short. It's very short. So the tilt, Bob, is super tight. I'm not much to move games, but it moved just for me playing fairly heavy-handed on the footers. Yeah, not flat-saving, just pushing the button. Yeah, just a little nudge. And multiball profit. That's right. All right, so what do you guys want to see next? Do you want to just stick with, you know, the last suggestion was the bottom group, which I thought was interesting because they were like, oh, we're going to see the top players. The only thing there might be is the, depending on what game they're playing, some games are going to run long. We've got to look at when Carl does the groups, kind of which machines are in play. Exactly, yeah. So choices as far as the arenas go, not all of these will be in play, obviously. But the arenas that we have right now are Batman Dark Knight, Doctor Who, Game of Thrones, Indiana Jones, Iron Man, Star Wars Pro, Stranger Things Pro, Sopranos, Tron, and Viking. All right, the next round is up. All right, so we're going to show the standings for a minute. We're going to look at what rounds are up here. We are both on Iron Man. You're player three, I'm player four. Oh, well, then let's just put it on Iron Man and watch us. I like it. Well, the choice is we're going to be Star Wars, Pro, Game of Thrones, Viking, and Iron Man. All right. So you're going to watch Dave and I go play Iron Man and cling to life. How much is Iron Man? You know? 50 cents. Oh, are you giving me your money? Well, you want to give me your money? I'm up before you. Yeah, you can give me your money. No, I'll come grab you when I'm done. Well, you can. It's right there. It's the first game. It's around the corner. I'm going. I'm going. Is it a new Iron Man? Yes, it's an Iron Man Vault Edition. It was the same one we recently saw at the California Championship Series. Looks like the cameras have been moved. Oh, boy. Pressure. Another pressure round. Another pressure round. I believe everybody's got three strikes. Yep. So two shall survive, two shall not. This is a vault. Yeah. Yeah. You can tell the vault's come LED'd from Stern while your original series, like you saw if you were at Indisc. The Ironman in the high stakes bank is owned by the museum. It's original, so it's incandescent lighting. We're going to get started. Who is Eric Rottenbiller? Yeah, common spelling. Doing new Ironman vault. Oh, you know, I heard that about, that they're going to do another run of Ironmans. because apparently they do well and people are asking for them. But this one has been around for a while. It used to be at Miscontrol, and then it was brought here to Riverside Game Lab. Well, that was a quick ball one by Eric. Let's see if Luca can do a little more. Personally, I go for the Ironmonger at first. The feeds off the warm machine can always be a little dangerous. It's not that they go on and off. The idea is to light them all, and every time you flip, they cycle between both sides and the top lanes. And then, obviously, when you light them all, your shield is lit. All right. Oh, Luke is up. All right. Oh, I see what you're talking about. You're talking about the GI under the slings. Yeah, that's. Oh, is it me now? That's me. Oh, yeah, it's you. It was very quick. All right. I'll redact it for a second. It's a red LED. Can I come back for a minute? Yeah. I'm pretty sure this guy here. Stranger Things was doing the same. Oh, okay. Well, keep an eye out for that. All right, Matt's got his theories hat on. Let's see if he can do some damage. Getting a couple drone targets. In the war machine. Dangerous. Oh, I got to go play. Hang tight. Matt will be right with you. Well, that went fast. I played this earlier and had about the same result. This one, this Iron Man plays very, very fast. Nope. And the same for Dave. All right, so we agreed as a group we're just going to play a two-ball game today. Oh, okay, cool. Yeah, we like to keep it on the edge of your seat. Why would we want somebody to blow it out, you know? TW Rex Pinball, I agree. I like the ramps as well, especially in tournament play. but I could not hit it there for some reason. Eric's almost got Monger lit. One more spin. Oh, is everything in? There we go. All right, so there's his Monger up. Just needs five hits. There's two schools of thought. hitting it directly is kind of a risky shot but if you hit it on a rebound so if you go off of the Ironman targets on the edges yep you can generally get a register among your hit as well and there's that danger of hitting it straight on but he's put himself in a good position for his ball three at least it is yes it is in con CCC thank you very much it was all luck It wasn't like it was my excellent coaching. It was basic spin ball skills. Shoot, splashy shot. Yeah. Luca trying to get it done. Two more Ironman targets for Ironman. Yep. It looks like he's going for the ramps, maybe. He's got War Machine lit. Oh, it's bad rain, but he's set up for ball three. All right. All right. Let's see what Matt does. It's not going to be good. Yes, lucky bounces always help, but that game is definitely a nudging game. All right, he's going around. Still working on the monitor. Me and him are both behind the power curve. Let's see if he can get buttoned up. Oop, that's dangerous. And out the right out lane. All right, folks. Hang tight. Your turn. There's another excellent example of not how to do it. Oh. So this is kind of going to be my first Ironman game. I swear to God, the whole world is against me, bro. This was my first game of the tournament, and I did about the same, which kind of set the precedent for how I was playing. It only takes one ball. It only takes one ball. It does. Unfortunately for us, Eric has got that one ball right now. I believe so. I'm nowhere close on any multiballs or anything. Nah, I don't think I'm any better. I barely hit, like, two ramps even for bogeys, so... Although my last game ended the same way. It was one ramp away. How do you get the multis and modes? The multi-modes. So, there's a few different ones on this game. What he's playing right now is the Monger. so we can see these purple flashing lights around the play field those are what he hit initially to spell monger and raise the center target once that center target is raised he then had to hit that center target six times again to spell monger again which then triggers that multiball then you got a drones get you or a war machine Yep. War machines are dangerous. The drones are all the small stand-up targets in between all your major shots. So once you hit enough of those, then you can shoot the war machine shot, which is a really nice kickback. If you've ever played, like, Guardians of the Galaxy, the rocket shot, it's about the same kind of thing. And then their whiplash multiball is over here on the other side. which he just... Generally considered it's easier to start Ironmonger and work on the other ones when you have more than one ball in play. War Machine and Whiplash are both very scary feeds. And then what he's actually going for right now by hitting these ramps, if he hits them two more times, he'll go into bogey mode, where the ramps become very valuable. A lot of people will try to stack this mode now with a multiball for a long time. He's in a bogey chase. Now he just wants to do rants. Yeah. Danger. Oh, there we go. That's a good score, though. That's a good score. It's probably going to be good enough for this round. Yeah, I'm not liking my score. I'm going to go play right now, though. Good job, Luca. Thank you. Let's put some scores in here. I'm also scorekeeping. Oh, and that was a quick one. That's too bad. Oh, no. All right. I'll be right back. And that'll do it for me. I missed completely hitting that monger shot on the way. So XAWWAXX, I'm not sure how to pronounce that phonetically, but, yeah, so this table is playing really mean, And I think that's probably why no one's going for the stacks right now. Wax. All right. Oh, I see. It's a... What is that? Oh. And, all right. Well, Dave and I will now be your hosts for the rest of the event. And this is how we became on the broadcast full time. Yeah. So now we're just going to sit here and talk to you guys. I think we have to order a peach and get another round of beer. Yes. Let's do pizza and beer. I like these ideas. The place in the food lab is delicious. All right. You want to... Yeah, we can probably put one together. Big pizza? All right. All right. And we put our scores in. No, don't. Because that seals it. I know. Two, five. Terrible. Terrible. This isn't the same one that was at Mission Control, is it? It is. Is it? Yeah, it is. At Mission Control, I could usually break 10 million at least. We find that even when we move the games around Mission Control, the pitch on the floor, because it's over a 100-year-old building, so the floor is not exactly level. All right. but every time you move it, and I mean the flippers have been rebuilt probably twice since you played it at Mission Control. It's been quite a while, yeah. And yes, it is a brutal game. It is. Oh, we're going to pull up the standings to make Dave and I feel bad. Yeah, I'm thinking we're moving. Yeah, we're not going to be tied for 11th anymore. No sense watching a game with nobody on it. That's true. That way that matters. I just need to know what game he went to. I will take a look here. I'm guessing Viking. It's the closest. It's either Star Wars, Game of Thrones, or Viking. He looks like he's kind of waiting for Star Wars, which has somebody actively playing right now. Oh, okay. Where are you? So it's... Yeah, it would go... Looks like Johnny, I think, is up on Star Wars. Star Wars. Star Wars. David Olliver, Jockton, Raymond, and Carl. Yeah, so I'm... Oh, it's the lead group. Not even... Okay, it's the one to the left of Star Wars I think he's waiting on. Game of Thrones? Maybe Game of Thrones, yeah. Yes, because Johnny's up on it right now. The carrier pigeon of the Mottica plague that he is. Yeah, it'll be one of those two games. It'll either be Star Wars or Game of Thrones. So how do we order food? I'm sorry? How do we order food? One of us ought to walk over here in a second. Somebody put the plague up. That's right. Monica Plague. I personally came back from Indus with plague. This year's strain. I don't think I did. I think I survived, and I was in the mix the whole time, too. Yeah. I think I was burning my candle at both ends. You were pushing. I was pushing 12 to 16-hour days, and I think you were pushing harder than that. Yeah, it was about five days in a row. We were 17 hours or something like that, including the day before. But it was great. Super successful. Everybody was happy. We were happy. It was a lot of fun. It's always fun having to rebuild a game right there on the bank. Yep. Indy 500 was being difficult. Yeah, I remember. What was the first one that went out? Banzai Run is notoriously just first. Banzai played well. It played well, though. Last year it was totally shot. It played well. That was the museum's copy, and this year we used Jim's game. That is one of my favorite games. By the first day, we already had like three different parts from the museum, one in it. Yeah. What was the one that got pulled out first? It was the time-based one. Force 2. Oh, no, Beat the Clock. Beat the Clock. I'm the man, yeah. Beat the Clock was like first day. It had a phantom tilt. Like in the lead-up day, we discovered it. We thought we figured it out. We changed a bunch of stuff. And then we started getting into the first day, and it was obvious we didn't fix it. We couldn't figure it out. So they... Yes, the gym does play pretty good with normal issues. The biggest issue we did have was the motor that carries the ball up to the upper play field because the museum is amazingly like a freezer. The grease inside of that drive motor froze up after the first night it spent in the museum, and all of a sudden it was, oh, gosh, oh, gosh, we need parts. We need parts. Yep. That was the interesting thing with the museum. You get there in the morning, and it's freezing, and you need a winter jacket. Winter jacket and a beanie. California winter jacket. Oh, yeah. It's not like... Every now and then, you'll get snow at the museum probably once every three years, and it's there for a day. All right. All right. Looks like we're pushing up to that Game of Thrones like we were talking about. And here we go. All right. Ron's playing. Ron. Looks like we're on ball two. I believe you know what you're doing on this game. No, I... Today was one of the first days I played it, but I... Well, I know that this is the pro, because the premium has an upper playfield. Oh, really? Yeah, it's up here where the dragon's at, and it basically obscures... It's not great. This was one of those ones where right before I got on it, I said, I don't know what I'm doing, and I had somebody give me advice of... The key thing is these stand-ups on the right to light the lock, and then shoot the lock. Oh, okay, yeah. multiball. Just get the multiball going, which panned out for me. I mean, in the sense of, like, on ball one, I got through it, got the multiball, got 100 million, locked two balls towards my next multiball. Right. Oh, okay. But there are a lot of rules I didn't know, and I ended up losing because of that. Yeah, this is a game that's never been at one of my, I'm normally at miscontrol. Yeah. And sometimes the captains, because I live in Santa Ana down the street from his control. But the games there, I tend to learn the rules very well. Yeah, I don't know. And that's what ended up hurting me the most, was not knowing the rules on this. Because somebody else came up on ball three at, you know, they were at like $10 million and turned it into $300 million on multiball. And I had no idea what was going on. Ron doing some work here Yeah TX play field lit Looks like everybody out of the pool Oh. That's a tough break. Blackwater total. Let's see what that puts them up to. I'm not sure where everybody else stands at this point. I saw a 600 million on there, so. Okay, good. Put up on him. He's in second place. He's in second place right now. We still got another ball after this. And again, I myself saw someone go from that 10 million score to 300 million in one ball. I think it's one of those games you get to stack everything up and then ball three, pull the trigger. You can read it again and again. Yeah, yeah. That's kind of the deal. Yeah. I think this was probably around the era where the game started getting a lot more complicated in terms of the rules. Yeah, that sounds about right. There you go. John... No. Frustrated. Yep. He's not happy with that. There's a little jump. No. But he should be semi-familiar with this game. He used to be at a couple of places he frequents. Mm-hmm. The former Super Arcade in Azusa. Oh, okay. I played there once. I think one of their last ones. I did a critical hit one there. Okay. Yeah, they did. Did I think one or maybe two critical hits there? I did the last one. Oh, okay. Which is my only time playing a critical hit. It was fun. Oh, okay. Are you going to... I'm thinking about going to San Diego. The biggest loser? Yeah. I put in my weight. I sent it in. I'm far down. I'm not far enough down. I'm like 10-ish. See your weight. It's a great time. We're going to have fun. Oh, that's a big move right there. Not today, Mr. Krivonak. Not today. But, yes, the San Diego's biggest flipping loser is a great time. Yeah. I drank a lot of beer last year. I did the stream down there, too. Okay. That's Kyle, right? Kyle Smith that runs that, I think. Kyle Smith runs it, and then the San Diego Pinball Club. Yeah. There's pinball in the kitchen. There's pinball in the living room. There's pinball in the pinball room. There's pinball in the garage. It was great. It's funny. When I went down there, me and Jay carpooled down there because we had to pick up Johnny Demonic. That's now at Mission Control. Oh. All right. The plague himself is up. Clearly in the lead. Trying to get that lock shot. It's not happening. Nice bounce. There he goes. There he goes. So that's his second ball, I'm assuming? I think. I think that's what these two green lights over here. Yeah, I think, well, I think this game does the, I don't know if it was the first one. Because it did drop it down. He uses the same. Oh, he just, never mind. Oh, we're in multiball. He's in multiball. Duh. I noticed while I was playing this game, it seems to be one of the early games that did the pop bumper slot mechanic. Ghostbusters does that as well, where the top bumpers will change the slot reels to give you my mystery award. So he was in one multiball. He's got two balls for blackwater multiball. Oh, so that was a... He was in, I think, wildfire? Wildfire, sure. Yeah, that's right. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I mean, I'm pretty confident in saying he's got a winning score there. Yeah, that's what we call a commanding lead. Yeah. Sorry, we had somebody reeling in the groupies. Kidding. We always have that happen. Every time Dave and I are here. Oh, he was in Hand of the King. Yeah, look at that. Hand of the King. Oh, thank you. We are goofs. Goof one, goof two. And we're not going to say which one's which, but we did clearly say at the beginning of this. We don't know the game. If you put us on Star Wars Pro, I can explain everything all day long. Yeah. Or Viking. See, that's where I live. I live back in the... Put me on Viking. I can talk through those rules. Well, we're over a billion. Oops. He's got to feel good about his score, but he's still going to try and get as high as possible just to make sure it's secure. Iron Throne. Again, I don't know what that means, but it sounds pretty important. Some kind of wizard mode? Yeah. Or a mini. Because I've never seen it before. So I'm assuming you collected the four houses, the light span. Thank you, yes. We have our technical consultant on the chat. It's worth a few points, yeah. I can imagine. Point you don't necessarily need, but yeah, he's still going to rack them up. Single. Single. That was a good catch. It looks like he is shooting for that ram for the wild mare. Oh, it's the final wild mare of the game. Johnny's just rolling down the street Yeah I definitely I believe this is the highest score today for sure I think That's safe to say Yeah I think before this it might have been Raymond had like a 500 million or something like that Oh Thank you Yes. Oop. I got to move that camera. Somebody moved the game. That was a huge, big Krivenak. Put a huge move on it. The plague. So this is... We got the plague rubbing his chin. I don't know what I'm thinking about being in. This is the last game playing for round seven. No surprise. At the end of this. Okay, so we tied for 13th. Awesome. This is where we finished out there. I'm happy with that. Nobody showed up in this. Everybody that showed up in this isn't exactly a slouch. No, yeah, there was no, yeah. So this, nobody will be eliminated from this group. Two people will become three strikers. Two people will remain two strikers. And then next round we'll have a couple more eliminations for sure. Look at that with a 2.2 billion. JBL pinball saying complete all the shots, hit the rim, and then restarts the multiball. Oh, nice. Oh, and there we go. Bad break. But with a great, you know, good score still. So Jonathan coming in, he needs about $90 million. I believe so. It's hard to tell because they might switch out. But there's two in the lock, which I think are his. There's two in the lock. Somebody else is talking. Polaro's over here talking without a mic on. But, uh... So he's trying to post-transfer over. So he needs to beat the 172 score to avoid... Man, I know the female voice on this. well JD open ball you guys are Germany is that correct keeping it alive a little nudging All right, you're going to run two modes here. Got about a 70 million death stat. I'm English, but live in Germany. Okay, yeah. Nice save. Get down out of control. Oh, right down the middle. So that's going to, again, nobody eliminated here. That's going to put a third strike, though, onto Jonathan. One, five, eight. And Brian. All right. So that's going to put us into the next round, which looks like it's already up. We've got Indiana Jones, Viking, and the Sopranos. Oh, I'm going to vote for putting this on Viking just because that's the one I like. It's Viking. You guys hit the button, right? Yeah, we did. Sorry about that. Our vote is Viking. All right, we won the vote. It's going on to Viking. So, again, yeah, we're at, what is that, 7, 8, 9, 10. Oh, how many people? 12. So 12 left. Yep. Nobody in this round can be eliminated. That is correct. There's nobody with three strikes. Everybody only has either zero, one, or two strikes. Yep. So this is kind of a buffer round. And it looks like Raymond got his first strike, so now Raymond and Carl are both tied for first with one strike. Can everybody else switch too? I've got to switch. Carl does not stop working ever. There we go. All right. No biking. No muffins. That's the only thing I care about. Okay, cool. Let me know and I'll... All right, so Viking. Yeah. So we got Ron, Johnny, Carl, and Raymond on Viking. This is another game that's a personal favorite of mine for gameplay, although it's really mean in competition. So, TWRX, the main strategy in Viking really lies with this thinner spinner. And what you'll see is all the little, see, that light moved up a little bit. Every time you hit that spinner, it will move that light up, and then you can see it fly up, and what's happening is he's collecting higher bonus. A big strategy on this, especially early balls, is try to get to either 20 or 40, which is that super bonus that carries over between balls. The next thing to do on this game becomes shooting these left drop targets, which become your bonus multipliers, so 2x, 4x, 5x multipliers. Ooh, and that was a rough shot for Johnny. Again, keep in mind, it's a five-ball game. If you can secure that super bonus in your first ball, you're in great shape, because then a lot of times what people will do is just try to hit that 20, and then as soon as they hit that, they just focus on those left-drop targets and try to get the multiplier every ball. The other things you can do in this, once you do get those up higher, is we see this flashing arrow on the right-hand side. There is a shot there that will allow you to go up and around, and if you can get into this saucer, will then collect that bonus but not reset it. So you actually get to collect it multiple times. And then if you can get the A and B down, you don't have to then hit that right shot. The saucer itself just becomes lit all the time. and yes set up like Monohari scoring like Paragon one of the other fun things I like about this is the outlands in this game the outlands are are set in such a way sorry I got a little distracted watch a car here's an example we just saw it right there which is that when you come down this outland there is a rubber that is right here and if you nudge the game the right way there's a gate here and the ball can get back up to the flipper and Carl just showed us an example of how that works. Carl right now will probably keep focusing on that spinner trying to get that super bonus up to at least 20 so that it's locked in between balls and I I think there's a lighter two out, but he's pretty close. See that? 19. There, he just hit it. So the 20 light, it looks like it's out on this machine, but he did get the 20, which means between balls he's actually going to carry that super bonus over. And then this is going to be a huge bonus that he's going to get up here on his score. So 287 is a great first ball and got the extra ball. And we are playing extra balls in this. There's only a couple games that have him on. This is one of them. So even if this is a drain, which it looks like it's going to be, he still had that super bonus, which means he still gets another 20,000. Raymond's stepping up, taking a look at the machine. I will say Raymond is actually the one who taught me how to play this game at Ace Goge. a few weeks ago before InBisc. I was just saying that Raymond is the one who taught me how the rules work for Viking a few weeks ago at Ace before InBisc. And it became quickly one of my favorite games. You thankfully showed everything I was trying to explain, including the save from the outlane. Yeah. And these are inverted posts on this one, so it's more difficult. It's very hard. I saved once, and then the second time the tilt got me. Yeah. saved in the end until... The other thing I didn't mention too is with that center spinner, after you get it a few times, it will light for 100, which it just did, and then even 1,000, which only lasts for a few seconds unless you hit the spinner again. So Raymond got back through, which kind of reset that timer. It's still set for 1,000 to spin. Stuck ball? No. I'm stuck. Are you going to try, or do I need to go over? I'm going over. Okay. No, no, he got it. He got it. He got it free. Inverted post, yes. The gym, this is Valsito's game. He took the post and outlanes and turned them upside down, which makes the rubber set lower than usual so it's harder to bounce it off. You can still do it as you saw, but it makes it more difficult. There's also on these gates there's three settings, essentially three places you can put that gate, which make it harder and obviously the reset for the harness. Johnny confused or something? I think they were probably talking about that stuck ball. Yeah, yeah, I know. I'm just messing. I always mess with Johnny. All right, all right. Anytime. Okay. Nope. All right, so they're going to actually go take a look at this. apparently part of the plastic may have actually come off during that from the rubber. So we may see a little bit of a delay here while Carl takes a look. While we're waiting, why don't I go ahead and throw up a couple little advertisement things here. So first being that where we're at, this is the Pinberg Satellite Tournament. First place in this tournament will win a spot in Pinberg, which if anybody's trying to get into knows it can be a bit of a challenge in terms of a couple thousand people vying for a thousand spots. So not only do they save the money, they also get that guaranteed spot in Pinberg. We are playing at the Riverside Game Lab. And I'll turn those standings up for a second here. Alright, looks like they're removing the glass. We'll go ahead and watch what they're doing here. I think they just put it back on. Yes, Raymond is playing excellently for a very long time Up until 7th or 8th round, he was the only one with zero strikes So still only one strike for him, and he is playing wonderfully And we're back Ron, Ron and I have been in a group together at least two or three times today. So as I said earlier, even though he hit it backwards because the game has no idea which direction he hit it, he did light that saucer by going through that kind of orbity shot. TWRX, yeah, that is absolutely true. A lot of people with Pemberg. It seems, you know, if you're, call it in the top 100 of the wait list, you've still got a really decent shot of actually getting in there. All right, Carl's going to go back and show us a little bit more of how to play this Viking. So when you're plunging on Viking, something to consider is whether you're trying to get into this center saucer or these lanes here. The center saucer is 3,000 points, which is, you know, it's fine. but honestly those lanes, when you get that A and B lane lit, it lights that saucer for bonus collect without having to go through that right hand shot, which is really nice. So a lot of players will try to dial in their skill shot essentially to get the A and the B. Plus that saucer, depending on what machine you're playing on and where, will sometimes just feed straight down on you. So Carl collects his bonus, er, sorry, his extra ball. The way he did that is, again, these left side multipliers. If he gets all of them down, which he did, and then makes this shot around this loop Here, it will let it for extra ball. I don't want to play extra balls, apparently. You know, you wanted your bonus. That's all you cared about. Yeah, I went 22. Oof. I think if he nudged when it first went down there, it would have saved it. It's hard. That timing is really hard. It is really hard. Because you can't just move the machine at any point. You have to hit it right when that ball is hitting that rubber. And you have to hit it hard, too. I mean, I'm hurting my hand. Yeah, and I hit it too hard. I tilted on one of them. It's a weird balance. So on ball three, again, this is a five ball game Or in Carl's case, at least a seven ball game And you can see how fast that thousand light goes out on that spinner Yeah If you're not really quick to get back through that spinner again, it will go out on you. And you can hear it, too. It's got an audible cue when you're at the machine. Yeah. So you know it's going away. Wow. Oh. Okay. All right. Well, Johnny gets to play. I was talking earlier about the difference between trying to hit that saucer versus trying to hit the A and B. The A is more important, I think. Yeah. Yeah. Because the B seems to happen more often. It's as strange as it is. Mm-hmm. And here's the... Oh, I thought he was going to get his B there. Yeah. Cursed. Tom did a curse. Because the saucer's not a nice speed. No, it oftentimes will just send it straight down on you. Right. All right, he's changing his strategy. Going for the drop targets now. He was doing exclusively spinner earlier. I didn't catch really did he get the super is he already got because the 20 lights not working. No, he's not there yet He's not I don't believe so. Okay All right, he's almost his 5x Looks like yeah He looks like he's going with the strategy which a lot of players do on this is if it's on the left flare Flipper go for the spinner if it's on the right flip or go for those drop targets Alright, now he's at 20. Yeah. So now he's at least guaranteed to carry that 20 over. Which... He's at 5x now or 4x? 5x. 5x. So... Extra balls. Alright. Alright, Carl coming back out, showing us getting that A like he talked about. Oh, and then we got a stuck ball. And he nudged it himself out. A lot of times, once you've got that super bonus, it is just good strategy and he's trying to just alley pass over to get to that right flipper so that he can just keep shooting those multipliers. because every single one of those multipliers he hits is 20,000. Plus leading him towards another extra ball. So I would expect him to alley pass here again. Oh! Oh! Still a really commanding score on ball three. Wax, it is entirely possible. This is one of those games where, yes, you can definitely feel the stacking of ball to ball. If you can do well in an earlier ball, it carries on. However, you can just have a ball that still completely brings you back from a lower score, especially if you get into the bonus collect. So, you know, right now he's got 18 on bonus. He gets it. So now it's multiplied. If he starts getting those multipliers down and collecting that bonus, it can be worth a ton if he double collects. So right here, oh, we wanted it to pop up into that software. Hi, Michael. Oh, hey, what's going on? I just wanted to hear your voice. Oh, I know. It's so soothing. It is. Especially after the fourth strike. Oh, you got your fourth strike? I did. Oh, yeah. I had mine earlier. Indy, he tossed me the snake. Indy did that to me, too. Actually, no. Indy, I survived. It was Iron Man that did me my fourth. Bob was saying these rubbers are way too loose to do that recovery. What we were talking about earlier is Jim has actually reversed the post on me. So those rubbers, instead of being higher up kind of where the center of the ball would be, they're actually lower down where the bottom of the ball is, so it's that much harder to get the ball to bounce back up in. A lot of that, you know, and a good save from Ron. And I will say that the tilt on this is fairly tight. It is. A slightly harder hit would have tilted. Especially on the upward. Oh, and now he's going to try again. He did it. He did it. Oh, and again. He still does it. Clip that. Which is ultimately why Jim sets these the way they are, because some of these players can just sit there and keep the ball for hours. Oh, my gosh. Prove me wrong. Shoot. All right, so now we're on ball four. People are starting to get pretty close to needing to make some movement. Flirting with disaster, making out with disaster. It will be interesting to see whether Johnny tries for the alley pass to hit those multipliers or just goes for more bonus. He's going for more bonus. A couple of nice spinner hits there. Oh. Johnny, Johnny, Johnny. All right, Carl coming up with a 675,000 on ball four. I think he'll probably alley pass and go again for those drop targets. Nope. The alley pass hasn't been super friendly to him on this one. There we go. Wow, that was kind of a nice lucky three times. Oh, that was rough. So, again, we talked about earlier, these gates are set at the highest setting. There's three different settings they can be set at. And it can, I've seen this before, it can happen where if you get a ball that screams up into that gate, gate, it will actually pop the gate up and go under it. Yeah. Unfortunate. I feel like Carl's probably still okay with his 800,000 though. Speaking of Carl, what are we going to name that maneuver where you use the ball? Yeah, Carl was talking about a maneuver today where you use the ball and you gently flip it up right as another ball was coming to Force a cradle? Yeah, force a cradle. I was saying Carl the Cradle-o. You know? Maneuver. Picard Maneuver. Carl the Cradle-o. We'll workshop it. I don't know. All right. So Raymond is now... Looks like he got his five times. He got his extra ball. So he's still going up into those drop target area, which I can't remember the exact point value. I want to say it's 25,000 if you keep hitting that to stand up at the end of where those drop targets are. Oh, but he's got an extra ball, which you get to play here. And he's in great shape. Dave came back with our pizza, so it smells so good. Well, I need another beer, too. Okay. All right, Raymond. Oh, that was a great nudge. Just barely to get it back in. Oh, that'll do it. But that was a great ball for Raymond. and that's going to put him in the lead after his bonus. Again, first and second don't necessarily apply. Really, it's just wanting either one so you don't get a strike. I don't think we're going to have any kind of tiebreaker scenarios because it's a strikes tournament, so there's not really any number of firsts versus number of seconds kind of play. So Ron actually collected the bonus. It wasn't much of a bonus, but he did have that saucer to collect that bonus. Ron's got a little mountain to climb here. Is that 150? Dangerous bounce here. Oh, boy. Oh. Let's see what the standings are here. All right. So that is going to put another strike on Ron, which I believe everybody except for Carl and Raymond were at one strike. Oh, wow. Or were at two strikes. They were the only ones with one strike, so that would be a third strike, I believe, for Ron. Still in it. Johnny fighting to break at least 800,000, and that's not going to happen. All right. So no matter what. Yeah, so no matter what, Carl and Raymond are going to be progressing with... Yeah, no matter who gets first or second here, it won't change the result. And in fact, I think Carl is just stopping right there to say, we're just going to record it. Looks like we have one more game still going. Sopranos with Jonathan, Bob, Brian. Yeah, Sopranos have been playing kind of long today. I didn't get to play that one today. All right, here's our updated standings. So, again, it looks like, oh, it looks like actually this group here that's playing right now is playing for knockouts. Yes. So Bob, Brian, Eric, and Jonathan, the bottom two out of that, will get a strike and be eliminated. It's going to be a 10th, 11th, 12th tie. All right, looks like we got ourselves moved over now. So we're now over to Soprano. So we can watch this happen. Still Ron with 15 mil. Wait, actually no. And we will switch this guy over so we see the correct scoring up here. Bob Matthews, 114. This is a do or die game with everybody at three strikes. So far it looks like Bob is safe, but I saw 114 and it's either 5 and a 2 million for players 3 and 4. Party at the Bean. Yep, we're going for Party at the Bean. 75 Switch hits. I believe, I can't remember if at Indus this was set to a higher amount or if it still started at the normal 75. So today's point value should be around 17.57. No, actually, if this was a 100% tournament, it would be worth 17.57, but it's a four striker with 23 people. So a little bit less than 17 points for today's winner. But really, we're playing for our Finberg Pass today. Yep. Or for raffle prizes. Or you win a deck. You already have one, or is that your first one? I have one, but cards don't come back when you run critical hit tournaments. So this is going to feed, you know, refeed. Speaking of tournaments, tomorrow there's a tournament here at Riverdale Game Lab. $5. This starts at 12.30. I want to be here tomorrow. Okay. Yeah. It's one of those games where it's hard in a tournament setting where you're trying to see everybody's scores because the scores don't necessarily stay up on the screen very long. So 15-1-14 is what, this is going to be a 45-40? Well, I saw Jonathan saying goodbye, so I'm assuming he already knew he was going to be out. So Brian's going to be, come on, 35, yeah, 15. So Eric Rottenbiller from Pasadena needs to pass. He needs to get roughly a 36 million in order to prevent himself from getting a strike and being tied with me and Jonathan. Which is not impossible on a single ball in this game. Yeah. You get into, you know, what I tend to do on this is try to get a ball locked up here in the ship. Oh, yeah. And then instead of immediately going for that multiball, I will go for the three shots to light Bing. Right. So that you start that multiball while trying to get your switch hits, and you're using that multiball to get through the 75 and then chain it into Bing, which can be huge points when you do that. It looks like Bob and Brian. Lasse, this is last, I'm going to say. This is the Pinberg Satellite Tournament. It's at Riverside Game Lab. So we are actually playing first place in this. We'll have a guaranteed spot at Pinberg 2020. Yeah. And Lord Howard Hurts. Does this Tupanos have the plunger removed to prevent this Stukitz validation trick? Correct. You need to press both flippers in order to play. No, this one does actually have the plunger in it. Was it working? It was working. Oh, but you can also press both flippers to plunge. You can both. You can also press both flippers to plunge. And a lot of times with these, I've noticed Jim in the past will take that plunger out, so you can't have anything except the two. But, yes, I did notice you can plunge on this one. Man, I wish we could get to Pinburg sometime. Awesome tournament. A lot of fun. Lots and lots of pinball. A replay FX show. A thousand people can get in as of last year. So I believe tickets sold out in about nine seconds, though. Yep. These satellite tournaments, there's a lot of tickets. Yeah. Because your spot in Pinberg isn't guaranteed. Even if you've qualified in the past for your previous campaign, you've still got to purchase a ticket like everybody else. So it sounded like also we're going to move this over to Doctor Who for round nine. Round nine. Expect to see lots of other loop action. All right, so we've got Johnny, Bob, and Brian on Doctor Who. Oh, a three-player game? Okay. Three-player game. So the way we've been doing these three-player ones is really only the last player is the one that gets a strike, Wow. And which means one of these three will be eliminated. The other two will move on. Who do you think is going to make it through? I don't place the guesses. I think the winners will make it through. Okay. That's who I think. Let's see. Doctor Who. I'm going to say Brian for sure in a toss-up between Bob and Johnny. I'm going to put my mic up just for a sec so I can eat some pizza without making mouse noises into the microphone. I think we can do ASMR, you know. Yeah, I mean, some people might be into that, but I'm not going to assume that. So now I'm eating the pepperoni. Anyway. Just calculate this whopper. Four strike knockouts. This is going to be, oh we have 23 players? 25, oh wow. Yeah, it's 25 game TGP, so yeah, this tournament's going to be worth 17 and a half Wopper for the winner. So last, just to point out too, you were talking about Pemberg, as far as having to book your hotel and your flight in advance, in advance. You don't necessarily have to do that. The hotels, like I've booked my hotel for Pinberg already through the group discounted rate and it is fully refundable up to like a week beforehand. Oh, yeah, yeah. I did that too. And flights, obviously, yeah, you don't book your flight until you get your ticket but tickets go on sale in three weeks from now which is still way in advance of when you would need to. February 22, around what, noon Eastern? I don't know, 1 Eastern. So, So don't let that stop you. Definitely take a look still and work to try and get in if you want to play. All right. It's been a pleasure, Matt. You have an offer? It doesn't matter to me. It doesn't matter. I just want to eat some pizza. Eat pizza. Oh. You want to use two mics? That's why I kept putting my mic up so I wouldn't make noise. I know what you mean. I don't know what your noise is. Oh. All right. Critical hit. Yeah. Flair loves his critical hit. I love critical hit. It's actually super fun. Huge critical hit tournament in San Diego on the 29th. That's right. Biggest loser. Last year, you had the distinction of being the person who lost the most weight. I did. You've got to warm and vulnerability. Yeah. I can play the card and then tilt people's balls out and still not take a strike. Yeah. Crazy card. How much did I lose? 20 pounds? No. I gained it all back, so I can get that card again this year. All right, let's see. He's choosing doctors. He's going to go for... Yeah, it's that real head scratcher, isn't it, Krivonac? Brian, you hurry. Free now. Went for Dr. Prime, which is not the normal one. It builds the Transmat, which is like a bonus score that's collected, and then it's collected at stand-up here. filled by the pops and Doctor Who is mean. Wow. We did not mention. Alright. The plague steps up. Yeah, Doctor One is my initial ball one go to. Build video mode faster. Johnny's going to play the loop game. Video mode. I love it, man. Video mode is life. That's right. Video mode and loops. It's going to hit a sonic boom here in a minute. There it is. Does not make the shot. See if he can get back up into Loop City. All right, here we go again. Oh, so exciting watching this. This guy's Playfield Multiplier maxed out. It's 4x right now. Coming up on another sonic boom. Connects the shot. Back up again. moving around. Wow. And another sonic boom. Sonic boom. Connected the shot, an extra 40 million. Forty million. Forty million. Brian and Bob can grab a beer right now. Well, Doctor Who can change any minute. But looks like Johnny's got the rhythm on this machine. Boom, brick shot. And he'll be safe. Oh, gave it to him. Oh, wow. Quite the delay. A little danger. Put it back over the ramp. Back in the side ramp. All right. Here we go. Yeah, there's Dr. Six. No, Five. Either Five or Six, I believe. It gives you double credit when you build a playfield multiplier 2X. Is this the finals? This is not the finals. We are. Round nine. Round nine, bud. Not very fine. Nine players left. Nine players remain. No player has three strikes and no one will be eliminated this round. No, the... Okay. Hang on. Our course, you are... This one is... How about we refresh my screen here? Players, arenas, rounds. Okay, so a lot of people have three strikes. Six people have three strikes. We're going to have two people knocked out of this round. Two people eliminated. That'll leave us... Seven people. Seven. Next round will be a four-play game. Down to two groups. Yep. So I was making bets with Matthew about who's going to stay and progress for this game. Who do you think it's going to be? Johnny. Johnny. I was going to say Brian and then Johnny. I think Johnny got one as well. Yeah, but that's before I saw the loops. We're getting one. Oh yeah, Johnny's lucky. Let's be clear. Except when it comes to the disease. He's the plague. He's the plague. Alright, Sonic Boom coming. Sonic Boom. Nobody ask you, Guile. Another one. Welcome to Population Johnny. And now here we go. Yeah, he's putting in the loops. Man. That is what this game is all about. Or it's one solid strategy. The other is multi-goal. Yeah. All righty. Oh, here we go. I don't know how many times I've seen him shoot this shot already. Yeah, there's only so much comment on the same shot. I've seen it ten times. I hear that song, you spin me. Spin me right round. Round, round, round, round, like a flipper. Sonic Boom coming. Want to do it this time? Oh, what? Nice save. Oh, and he's got the Daleks opened up at the top. 200 million, 4X. 80 loops already? Somebody counted. Oh, no, it counts for them on screen. Every time you make a loop, it keeps dragging. All right, get some Daleks. Playfield Multiplier is down 3.5. Alright. I suspect he'll go... well he... I wonder what he'll do next. Well... He needs one more hit on the bank to light video mode. But, back into loops. Yeah, it was a Tosa multiball. His loops are far producing more points than anything else. anything else. A lot more points per minute. Coming up on 110. 108. Phonic Boom. Yeah, I'm not going to do it. He didn't do it either. Do the thing. Do the thing. It's a car right in my head. Oh, my God. Oh, my God. So while, you know, Arena is like skill shot the game, this is like loops the game. Loops the game. Hey, loops. Oh, man. All right, Johnny. Come on. Hey It just Jane already No It not ball three You don know E want to see Doctor Who on like pro on TV for the pinball championships Wow, man. Yes, Gianna's right. There's only so much we can do to sexy this game up right now. It's just loop after loop. What are you drinking right now? I'm recently drinking Modern Times Fortunate Islands Hazy IPA. How do you like that one? Can I have a draw from the attorney now? Yes, he does have the rhythm. Hello? Hello? Hello? 4X video mode, can you show me if the bumps are friendly? The bumps are friendly. Yeah, video mode with the play-doh multiplier up is a pretty good option all the time. Easy IPAs are the best. That's right. Rum and Coke's not a bad deal, though. They have a decent beer selection here. I don't think they had hard alcohol when I looked, but not drinking too much today. You know, can only drink so much. It is cheat day. Getting ready for the biggest flipping loser in San Diego. So, kind of lose a couple pounds to increase my card draw in that game. But we'll see when that happens. 150. Hey, I'm back. Yeah, we're good. Oh, I can't hear myself. You can't? But I can. Hold on. How about now? No. Maybe there's a setting on here I missed. Sorry, we're adding a third headset in, and Carl's not here to show us the way. Yeah, you're in the right. Nope, that was number two. But it's up. Oh, we were rough power out way in there. I figured it out. I just didn't plug it all the way in. Oh. You have to actually plug things in for them to work. Allegedly. Yeah. So this thing says. All right. Oh, Krippinat kicks it. Bad outlay, and that was quick. All right, we're coming into ball three. Johnny's got about a commanding lead. I don't want to say commanding. I don't want to do math right now. One billion, was that what I saw up there? Yeah, 1.6 billion. That's a comfortable lead on this game. You've got to feel pretty good about that. And we're back into Loop City. And again, only one person is actually going to get eliminated from this. Right. Question is, I'm fairly confident it's not going to be Johnny, but it will be the legendary Bob Matthews or Mr. Krivenak. And out of the other group. And what game are they on? So there's three groups of three, which means three players will probably get eliminated this time. Two. The lead group can't get eliminated. Oh, the lead group can't. So two will get eliminated. Welcome to the Johnny Madoka Show. Unfortunately, it's been canceled early. Which then puts us down to eight players, which means two four-player groups for the next one. So we'll actually get back on to that double elimination kind of time frame. Extra repairs and letters. so every, ooh, lucky he got a second chance. Every time he hit a target along the left side, it will reward him, too. It's a tough break for Bob Matthews. Yeah. We know Bob. All right, what's the score look like? What does Brian need to do? Brian needs to... He doesn't have much at all, but he... Getting 12 million is not that ridiculous of a... No, you need a... I mean, honestly, I wouldn't even really try the multiball at that point. No, I would go for... I would have picked doctor number one to give you double... to video mode to make... Yeah, it only needs to shoot three or four shots and collect that. Shoot that video. Without a multiplier, it's 24 million. Yeah. That looks like what he's doing. He knows what he's doing. He's just going for that. He needs one more. But every time you go around and lock it in, if it's not lit, it lights one more. So if he goes around through the pops and gets over to the video mode, he'll light it and he'll need to hit it twice. Unfortunately, this is one of the games with lightning flippers and an extra wide little gap at the bottom. Yep. Johnny's got to put his initials in. Shocker. Forward. Time Lord John. I don't think so. All right. So that's going to eliminate Jimmy and Bob. Let's go to the standings. Pull up the standings while Carl readjusts us here. And we'll see where we're going to head off to. Oh. Did nobody put in anything? We need a scorekeeper out there apparently I believe Carl may be handling some of that So from Stranger Things it looks like Ron was actually eliminated with that strike on that one so David and Luca will continue on Doctor Who, uh, we talked about, looked like Brian was eliminated, which will put Johnny and Bob continuing. We still need scores from the Sopranos. Oh, are you? Well, apparently the Sopranos is still going. Alright, so we're going to move over to the Sopranos here. And see what this is looking like. Alright. So again, no one's going to get eliminated from this. this. Worst case, if Draka came last, he would get his third strike. Otherwise, Carl or Raymond would get their second. Everybody, of course, is doing the pro strategy. Stop plunge to try to get a free lock shot. This is the same game that was in Indus, but for that tournament, the plunger was removed. With a plunger this time, though. How do you get the free lock shot? You want to explain the soft plunge? So what happens is you soft plunge, but... In a lot of these games, especially the older the game is, if you soft plunge and you don't hit a switch, meaning you don't hit one of these flings, you don't hit anything along the playfield at all, the game hasn't quite registered that the ball is actually in play. So you get a free shot, essentially. It's almost like having an extra ball save. You know that, oh, I can actually just drain this if I miss, if I don't hit anything, and just get it back in the plunger lane again. So this game takes a couple of switches to validate the playfield. It does, yeah. So if you get it out there without hitting any switches into the flippers, you can attempt to lock a ball. Without actually having any play field. Correct. And then you still get your ball safe when you do launch that ball. Right. It's like it never happened. Yeah. A lot of modern games, they've actually learned about this now. Stern has and is putting things in place to try and prevent it. I remember, so I have a Ghostbusters at home. My Ghostbusters are the same way for two, three years or whatever I've had it. You could soft plunge and essentially not get any switch hits and be able to just take your first shot for free. Right. But they've since changed it in the software recently. Yeah, they've already done that. Yeah. Everything, there's no possible way to not register a switch hit on the plunge. Carl's typing in something. Is he in player three or two? Oh, they... Oh, there's a plunging. Player one is... They already know player one is eliminated. All right, we're going to... Not eliminated, sorry. Gets an extra strike. All right. All right. Game of Thrones or Iron Man? Iron Man, I think Iron Man. Iron Man, yeah. All right. What's more Iron Man? Maybe they'll play like we were playing and I'll feel better about how I play. Probably not. No, I think they're going to play much better than we do. It is a tough game. and this one like a lot of these games is set up tougher than most which does make it good for tournaments it is yep it was the same with with being at it in disc you know a lot of those games were really tough right but they're tough for everybody it had to be because otherwise you get a you get a 30 minute long Keith Ellwing game on Rescue 911 like I watched. 30 minutes? I think it's more like 40 minutes. It was probably more than that. He got $9.8 billion. We were all sitting there wondering what happens if he actually hits the $10 billion because there's no option for that in the scoring. Right. I'm sure it's like F-14 rolls at $10 billion. Yeah. Or $10 million. No rubbers. There were some of that. Yeah. Yes, that is true. No normal games. Got to make them hard. Yep. Which for us normal players makes it really, really hard. Oh. Can you see it? War machine shot. Nope. Not today. Not today. That $10 billion they asked for, I believe it does. This game is done forever. While eating chicken. Well, we were just eating pizza, so... We did. There was another piece in the box. I ate it. Okay. Thank you. Very good pizza. It was very tasty pizza. So here at Game Lab, right next door, they have a adequately named food lab. They were first. And they have a brick-fired pizza place in there. Yeah, kind of New York-style pizza. The one we had has pepperoni, sausage, and bacon, and is aptly named the Ron Swanson. I like it. I like it a lot. Alright, Luca looks like he's setting up his bogey right away. Those ramp shots, even without getting into bogey, can be so valuable as a combo shot. Oh, yes. These are for the popping machines, Titan rubbers, nuclear solenoids all around. Oop, oh. He gets his monger. Yeah, there you go. One more shot. Oh, yeah, sorry. Yeah, flashing for the final one. So this is a strategy a lot of people try to use, which is get into bogey and then get into a multiball. Yeah, mongers up. A couple of nice flaps there. So you move on it. Like we were saying earlier, the direct shot against the monitor can be dangerous because it's really unpredictable where it's going to come back. Yeah. You always want to try and hit it just kind of on the sides. Or, again, like you said, you can bounce it off those Ironman targets on the left and right. Yeah, it'll be interesting if they do do this reproduction. Vault 2 Mark 2. Yeah. Nope. There's the train. Come on, go to the death, baby. Do it, do it. Yeah. All right. Raymond Ashby steps up to the plate. Man of great pinball talents and cat things. He likes cat things. Oh, that's rough. That's rough. Oop. Don't do that. Don't do that, Ron. Nice try. Yeah. What are you doing? He's already been eliminated. How do you disqualify him? Are you going to double eliminate him? Is he not allowed to go to Pinberg at that point? Yeah, I think so. I think that's the ruling. Like most games, getting the half ramp is always really dangerous. Rough break for Carl. Yes, Lassie. Shit, come on out. In disc for 2021. You're looking like it's going to be bigger and better. Yep. I'm going to spend more time scorekeeping and less time playing even than I did this year. You may not. I may not? You may not. That's a secretive kind of... Yeah. Things in the work. Straight down the middle for Bob. Oh, the ball save. Looking at some change. That table hates him. All right. Luke coming back out feeling pretty good about his $18 million. Yes, there is no top post on this machine. Yeah. This particular one. He's trying to start a war machine it looks like. Yeah, he thinks we're going for that shot. This little thing. I don't... Is that that cannibal? Almost. I don't know if you can. It looks inconsistent. It's going to drain out, but it'll put them probably just over... No, no, not quite. Meet 29. Finish sixth in the Swedish Championship. Nice. Some classics. It would be fun. Hard to get tickets? Yeah, it's... In Sweden, that's quite a trek out here in California. India's got a little easier than... Finberg, yeah. Because you don't have to go through the thousand people gauntlet. The only issue is we're not near an airport. Well, I mean... We are very close to an airport, just not one flight to come into. Yeah, but LAX, if you don't travel during rush hour, is an hour and a half away. But you need to find some friends and rent a car. Yeah. Because while there are some mass transit options, it's kind of... Banning California doesn't exactly have Uber. Yeah. Yeah. Nope. Everybody says, you know, Southern California, L.A., but Death Valley is also in Southern California. Yeah. Yeah. Just pick us up at the airport. You never know what could happen. Yeah. Yeah, our public transportation leads a little bit to be desired here in Southern Canada. The L.A. area. Yes. And I even live across the street from the train station. Yeah, but it's a train station that goes through one very distinct part of L.A. Yeah. Oof. Oh. Tough break. Still keeping in second place, though. All right. Bob's coming up on ball three. So this is Bob needs to do this. Bob and Luca are both fighting for their final strike. So Bob's going to need to put up a few million on this. Yes, Palm Springs Airport. That's true. In half an hour, guys. There's Palm Springs Airport, yep. Needless to say, you would need a connecting flight or two to get. Yes. You'd fly into LAX or something and then take a. Go over to the little. Pub jumper. It looks down like the fan is on. Yep. I've taken a few of those. Oop, dangerous. From Denver to Palm Springs. Wow. Oh. That's surprising. Palm Springs is a different town. They've got people that come and visit that place. That's true. Palm Springs does have its own kind of tourist attraction. Yeah, I don't understand it. But, you know, whatever. It's cool. I did this last year at Indus. I stayed at the... Oh, there it is. All right. So Bob's put a score up. He's got four million there. He needs to put the voodoo curse on Raymond and Carl. Yep. Which has so far worked. Right. Luca's probably feeling pretty good. So this one, if you go for the skill shot without that post that works, you can actually get the ball stuck up there. Oh. Multiball. All right, come on. Total going for War Machine. Yeah, he's absolutely going for War Machine. Or the ramp. I think the ramp was a missed War Machine shot. That looks about right. Oh, there he goes. That drain was a missed shot. That drain was a missed shot. You know, it happens. But, again, $20 million. $20 million, not bad. All right, Raymond coming up. Raymond Asby. He needs to break $4.3 million in order to secure, well, not even secure a place, to knock Bob out, basically. Yeah. He's almost got Monger. Like two shots away? Yeah. One shot. No shots. All right. So now, again, probably going to hit the edges of the stand up there. Yep, love that. Taking his time. Oh. Dangerous post pass there. I don't think that's what he meant to do. No. Trying to. Oh, and that's going to do it. Tried to save it. That bonus is not going to be enough. Nope. So Raymond will be getting a strike on this one round. And now Carl is down to whether Carl will knock Bob out or not. He doesn't want to talk, right? No. I tried to give Raymond a mic. He didn't want to. Yeah. We do have Bob sitting right behind us, though, watching intently to see what happens. We're coming up on a bogey chase here. I mean he's kind of a ramp award he's quickly building oh he's not going to do it though that bonus is not going to take it Bob survives another round by the hair of his chinny chin chin so that's interesting too both the players that were the only ones that had one strike are now the two strikes each and Bob and Luca will both continue on as well at three take a look at the standings They'll be up to date in a minute. Oh, they're probably still playing Game of Thrones. Yeah, it's been playing pretty long. Is he moving it? No, he's looking up there. I do not know where the information about the Iron Man Mark II vault is coming from. Where did I see it? Is that official? No, I saw it. I've seen it everywhere. Somebody listed it for sale. One of the major distributors actually listed it for sale. I can't remember which one, if it was Cointaker or somebody like that. But I'm pretty sure I saw a distributor already have it. A few distributors have added prices. Oh, that's cool. Yeah, I mean, you get more games out there. I'm, you know, even if a game I'm not a fan of, there's been a few games recently I haven't been a fan of, but I'm still glad they exist and that they're out there. Monsters. The new Elvira as well, yeah. I haven't really played it. We don't have one at Mission. I love Scared Stiff. Right. But the new one didn't grab me. But I will say yes, Monsters, the... Oh, looks like they just finished up on... Nope, are up to round 11. Doctor Who and Tron. Let's see where we are going. I'm going to... Monsters isn't that bad. I'm probably going to put it on Tron. It is on Tron. Yeah, this is a knockout round for sure. Let's see. This is the interesting thing about these. Everybody's got three strikes on the Tron group. When you get into these strikes tournaments and you get down to where you have these three-player games at the end and you're only single eliminating each round, the first rounds seem to go so fast and then it starts dragging on a little in terms of how fast people get eliminated. Yeah. All right. Johnny up on Crown. Ball save, ball save. Dangerous. Oh, manages to save it, but that is dangerous. So he's going to take a sec. Oh, he's not going to take a sec. He's just going to keep going for it. Looks like he's doing the usual strategy of light cycle. Light cycle. Maybe end of the line. Try to hit that Cora shot and get around to the end of the line. Come. He's coming around. Can he hit the end of the line? Nope. Nope. He missed it. He's got multiball lit. Yep. Now, did he go right forward, or did he try to stack it with Cora? That is advanced Corlett. No, he's going for the easy multiple. Yep. I will say, another game that has set up really tough here, I was playing a Tron yesterday, that I just, you know, couldn't drain on. Oh, really? Just multiball, multiball, just doing great. And then I stepped up to this one today. It's like new. Yeah, very different. Oop. Not bad. 21. That's a good start. It's a really good ball one. 22, 23 million with a bonus. Especially in a three-player group, again, you're only worried about not being last. Correct. I'd take that back. 25 now. 25. David Oliver. So last, yes, Monsters isn't that bad. It's not that good either, though. Yeah. Okay. No skill shots. See if he can get the saving at the ramp. Ooh, jank shot. Bubble, bubble. Kind of a tough break. Jackson was just here saying goodbye. It looks like he was one of the ones that was just eliminated in that last round. Did want to make sure we mention, check out his new product, The pin shades. Producers, fine pin shades. Yeah. Fine pinball eyewear for all. Those of us that have glasses, we haven't quite got there yet. But if you don't wear glasses, they're actually really neat. And my eyesight's good enough that I played a little bit with them on instead of my glasses, but I'm still better off playing with my glasses just because of the vision I like to see. Yeah, you know, sharpness. Detail is important. But they're really neat. He's done a really good job of making something that does change the way it's played. They've got some coatings on them to reduce glare and kind of enhance colors and brightness. Pretty neat. See it in the line shot. That's a good hit. Oh! Alright. Bob holding the second place position. The blade steps back up. It will always be the plague. I don't understand the reference. You don't know about the Monica plague? So, one, it's a critical hit card. Oh, okay. But the story goes, it's a Pinberg story. See, the Monica plague. He looks like a zombie. Apparently, Johnny went to Pinberg. And before he went to Pinberg, he got really sick. But he paid for everything. So he insisted on going to Pinberg. But didn't wear a mask? No. Over the course of the week, he transmitted his disease to like ten people. Like ten people that he knew. And like a couple of people were sick for like a couple of weeks. And after that, it was forever. When you go to a pinball tournament and you get sick, it's the Modica Plague. We should just start handing him bottles of sanitizer before each game. It's funny because Carl's got all this stuff not with match play, but when he uses the Never Drain software, he always replaces Johnny's photo with the critical hit card. So David's into multiball here. Trapping up on both. Nice. There's like a whole bunch of different versions apparently. Yeah, on here. Yeah. In the chat. available overtime tonight no thank you work alright David's having a really good ball too here already done his light circle multiball working on disc danger a lot of times on these you get used to the fact that you can normally just kind of trap up there and catch that ball when it's coming down I think he was intending to ramp it across. Yeah. And Bob with the skill shot into the arcade. Bob's definitely an on-the-fly kind of player. Doesn't usually trap up too much. Oh, that was actually... Why is your trounce so dark in the middle? I don't know. I don't know. It might just be the way the lighting looks. It looked normal to me when I was out there playing it. Yep, there we go. All right, Johnny coming back, feeling pretty good about his $30 million. Yeah, but David only has a couple of shots left for disc. He could easily pass him up. But he doesn't want to be last. He doesn't want to be player three. Going for first here doesn't necessarily get you anything at all. You know, it's like when you've got to outrun the mountain lion. You've just got to be past your friend. Hop with the person beside you, and you're fine. He looks like he's going for another light cycle. End of line. Let's see if he gets his end of line. That'd be a good one. No. Ooh, big move. Big move. Double danger on that one. I don't think that was really necessary. He's still in great shape, though. 32 million. Yeah, I'd give that a minute, David. So the other match is Luka, Raymond, and Carl on Doctor Who. Oh, whoops. which I believe will be in the same kind of situation where actually Raymond and Carl are both only two strikes. Only Luca can be. Oh. So Luca's the only one that could be eliminated if he gets third. There we go. Yes. If Luca loses, he's eliminated. and then whoever whoever's in last out of this group. All right. All right. So Bob's got to get another 11 million added to the score on this ball. Bob's tournament to lose right now. He's taking a minute and he's thinking about it. I don't know what he's looking at. He's still a pretty butterfly. Don't wait. He's coming in here. Alright, looking for a consult or... I don't know what's going on. Bob has just walked away from the machine. Just give it a minute. Oh there he comes, there he comes. He's alive. Alright. Alright Bob, show us how to play this game. Skill shot. Let's start. But he still, I mean, the advantage he has is that he hasn't started. Save it. Oh, yeah, okay. He hasn't started his multiballs yet. He still has. I thought he did a light cycle. I'm not sure. But it's not flashing here, so I don't think he did. Oh, yeah, you're right. So I think he still has all. Ooh. And that is going to do it. And just like that. That's tough break, Bob. That's rough. That'll put Bob out on his fourth strike. Oh, Carl's getting the scores. Once again, we're playing the Pinberg satellite match here at Riverside Game Lab. First place will get an automatic entry into Pinburg. Just got to buy an airline ticket and a hotel. You got to do the rest of the other stuff. But you know what? The hardest part is getting that entry. So I... All right. So we got... I'll put the game on Dr. Who. I'll just call. I'll come back and do it. Scott's going to move us over to Dr. Who as soon as the current player finishes. Thank you. We're waiting for the ball that's on Doctor Who to end. Yeah, which we can't see. It could be 100 loops later. Completely different area. Yes. Is this the Doctor Who that Jay put up the bed on? Somebody can beat his loop score on it? Oh, there's somebody beat it? Yeah, there's a higher loop score on it already. Oh, okay. But it's like 300 and something. It's ridiculous. Or it might be this one. It might be in the 200s. When it was at Mission Control, it was at like 335. All right, Doctor Who, we're going to the next round. Oh, we're going to the next round. Doctor Who's over. All right. We're going to have Stranger Things. Okay. Oh, Stranger Things will be up next. Stranger Things. It looks like, oh, this is an interesting breakdown. And we have, is it a three-player and a two-player, or is it? Yeah, so we've got a three-player group and a two-player group, which means the two playing on Sopranos, which is Luca and David, are truly playing for survival. One of them will continue, one of them will be eliminated. On Stranger Things, we've got Johnny, Raymond, and Carl. Raymond and Carl, both with two strikes, can afford another strike, theoretically. Johnny if he came in third would be eliminated. Carl looks real excited about playing Stranger Things. Yes. I see the look of total patience. He's got pretty good. I'm trying to think of appropriate things to say on the screen here. PG. He's got the look. Is that like a rock set thing? I'm not going to start singing, but, you know. I think it is. Yeah. Last minute strategy meeting between the minds. Luca telling Johnny get the multiball get the multiball pinball two flashy shots yes push start button he just pointed see get those and then get the multiball that's going to turn into a weird drawing if I keep going that way yeah PG-13 yeah I stopped I mean, the modes can be pretty valuable in this game. You know, I've played through them. But honestly, the points just skew so much towards that multiball. Right. The two things in this is the multiball, and if you get that upside down where the targets are worth a hurry up, is just worth a lot. There we go. So we see Carl with a 917 million high score as the grand champion on this. Details, bro, details. When we first got this a week and a half ago over at Ace, Carl showed up for a league, hadn't played it at all, and on his first ball put 120 million. All right, thanks, Carl. So this is one of those games we talked about earlier where there is a switch validation. Johnny's never played... Johnny has never played Stranger Things. But he has played Attack of Mars and he has played Medieval Madness. It's on. I put it in. Yeah, yeah. I don't think he's aware he can. Oh, no. He knows he's backhanded that first shot. So, again, he's already got into a mode. I think he was kind of thinking about it for a second and was like, I wonder if I can do this. Yep. Head to the blinking lights. I love that game. Whitewater. Always a great time. Lost another one. I haven't played it that much. That's a good game. Because the multiball light lock, it's the same setup for targets to the left and the right of the lock shot is how you light the multiball lock. So, yeah, as we're seeing with him right now, that right-hand flipper shot to that ramp is really hard. It is much easier to backhand it from the left. So he's got his upside down. He probably doesn't know, since he's not familiar with the game, that all he should be doing is shooting up the middle right now with everything he's got. So what's happening is... That timer moves fast. It's very fast. Those four drop targets there are worth a hurry-up value each. It starts at seven and a half million. And just scroll down. Now, he did get his multiball going, which is great. but he did miss out on a few points there with the upside down. Multiple on this is kind of your standard, everything is lit for jackpots. Right. Shoot all shots once. Yep. And then after a certain number, you can get a super jackpot, and the thing to do with this, though, is you can also lock a ball to double that super jackpot. All right. But it takes a lot of foresight. You've got to really be paying attention to where you're at. Oh, double drain there. Not a terrible start. No. $16 million. Again, I think the biggest thing there was him not knowing about the upside down shot. Yes. It cost him a lot of points. So Raymond, I do know, is familiar with this game. He's played it for a bit. At Ace. Head over to Ace, yep. You'll see him there many nights of the week. But, again, this one does play differently. Oh, they all, yeah, of course. And the one at Ace, I believe, has been tuned up a little more. It's been adjusted. Properly play tested. Yeah, well, it did do the same thing this one does, which, you know, If you've watched any of the streams with the creator of the game and kind of how they designed it, it is meant to be a very slow game where you can take this inner loop or this shot here, and when it comes out here, it's supposed to just feed right to that flipper so that you can continue that path along. What we've seen is a few of these have shipped out where this left side kind of rail there isn't quite bent out far enough, and, yeah, it goes right into that slingshot. Okay. It's all about how they, you just got to get them set up to where the shot's makeable. Yep. And as we said earlier, it's not, you know, I don't fault turn necessarily. It's a lot of it is it's operator setup. You've got to go in and adjust your game. Yes. A pinball machine ship's broken. It's just the way it is. Yeah. Especially a first run, you know, early run version of it. That's why my Rick and Morty is 250 instead of... At least you got one. I did get one, yes. I got a 250. Carl's got, I think, 110. Right. And... Kyle, I think, got one, too. Yeah, he's got 109. Which I thought... He's hoping it will be at... I don't think it will be, though. At the... At his tournament. Oh, gotcha. Yeah, yeah. I don't know if it'll be that soon. No. I know that for four weeks. That's in four weeks. Like next week. Oh, when it may be. Is like the first ten. No, they're only doing like ten a week. I would be very shocked. Oh, they disabled the virtual lock. Either it broke or they disabled it. The post. So it wouldn't break. Shane's got four and five of Rick and Morty coming next week, though, so, you know. Oh, does he? Come off the either ace location now, and that'll be gone in a couple weeks. Van Nuys is such a drive already. I know. I've come down to it. You go the other way, yeah. I've been the opposite direction. Yes, the center shot here is much riskier than Medieval Madness or Tech from Mars. Oh, absolutely. I agree. Yeah, yeah. I mean, actually getting the center shot on this is harder than the multiball lock on Medieval Madness, which is a really tight shot. except when upside down yes then absolutely have to go for it we were talking about this earlier today too you know this machine is set up for tournament mode which obviously anytime you set up a game for tournament mode the default software is supposed to try and eliminate as much randomness as possible so if there's a mystery award it's the same mystery award for everybody they're asking if the left ramp would that lock a multiball right and fall for this no it's just like it jelly through there yeah it's when you you're ready for the super that's when you can tell you got one shot laughter so in fact I think he just got it with the double jackpot yes I'm locking the ball up there so you'll notice the ball lock light was on when it gets over oh there's a double super so 24 million a great... It's an okay score. Yeah. Well, and it's a nice thing, too. It's one of these ideas of being able to kind of park a ball upside down while you're doing two upside down immediately. Third one. And you got all four? No, he's got one left on the right. Yeah, okay. It's still worth 75. So he got all those before the countdown even started. Ooh, and then it gave it to him. Yep. So 11 million upside down total. Oh. Sorry, 56. Yeah, yeah. Because he got a bunch of them before it even started. And I think he had Playfield Multiplier going. So Mystery, when you do get it lit, is collected right to the left of those drop targets. It's also where you start the demo dog mode, I believe, and one other thing. Yeah, the castle lock shot. Yeah. Yeah. Or the lock shot. Yep. What happened? He got his upside downs very quickly with 2x. Yeah. So upside down again, it turns all four drop targets into a countdown that starts at 7.5 million while he had 2x playfields, and he got them all down pretty quickly. So you can say each one of those would worth 15 million. 2x playfield. So that is a certain number of loops around this way. What these loops do is they will first of all light. There you go. They'll first of all let a virtual kickback. Look at that. Look at that bonus. Bonus on this is built around having done things like kill the Demogorgon and start with multiball and these kind of things. But, yeah, so that loop, it's the burn it up loop, will first light the left virtual kickback, and then the second time will light the play field multi-play. Gotcha. There's the left hoop after a bunch of inter-loops. Yeah. Hmm, have you killed the Demogorgon? No. I have. So, and this is another one of those things where machines can be different. Like, I played on one where from the left flipper I could nail it. And I mean, call it 50% of the time, which still is great. 50% of the shots from the left flipper I was hitting it. Right flipper couldn't touch it. And then I played another machine where both flippers I must have had 30 shots on it and couldn't get a single one in it. Oh, that's a move there. Is that a double danger, I'm assuming? Yes. Oh. Which McCullough? It's run out on the dog. Yeah, there you go. All right, so mode-wise, again, he's already completed the mode that he just shot right now, which is that same as that lock shot. So that doesn't actually give him anything. He now has to move on to the other modes before he can reset it. Put the game back. There you go. Oh, he moved it back, and it tilted his bonus away. He's trying to be nice. It's okay. He's got a pretty – and we're only on ball two. We're only on ball two, but that's still – I mean I don so he may have had probably had a multi in there so I not quite sure what his bonus would have been but it probably was at least a million or two I was just looking out at the they actually watching Stranger Things at the bar Oh, they are? Oh, yeah, it is. Up on the big screen. Yeah, up on the big screen. What was the other game playing? The other game is Sopranos. Yeah, they're still doing it. Luca and David. Just the two of them. And again, one of them will survive, one of them will not. Two will enter. One will survive. It's a rough thing, you know. I've seen some strikeout tournaments will do a buy instead of doing that, instead of forcing into a two-player group. Yeah, I haven't seen that. But, yes, if it says danger twice, it's a little more figured out. A little obvious. Yeah. Alright, so Raymond into his first multiball here. He does not... I mean, he does have a mode stack with it. Well, maybe he doesn't have a mode stack with it. It might just be multiball. First warning is yellow, double danger is red. That makes sense. Huh? One thing I haven't quite figured out on this is what determines the value of the jackpots on the multiball, because I have seen various different values of jackpots. Hmm. Ooh. So right now he's actually got that two. Oh, there it goes. Oh. Oh. He's still got a ball left though. And he's got upside down. And he knows to shoot for it right away. Unfortunately, getting it behind does not count as any of those targets for upside down. Oh, and that's out. Decent score, keeping him in second place. Yep. Raise the upside-down value? Is there a way to raise the upside-down value? I haven't seen any. Not that I've seen. It's possible, but I don't know. Well, two-axe playfield, yes. Playfield multiplier, we saw that with Carlo. You can add that to it. But to raise the actual default value, I don't know there's a way. It's like Carlo's got his ramps finished up. He's trying to get his other shots. Well, he's probably, he's actually, let's say he's going for the right side, which does two things. One, it's qualifying that mode, which you just started. Right. The second is that by going into the pops, he's actually changing what mode he's going to play. So if you know the modes, like, you know, there's only one, I remember there's a coin one on the right-hand side. Oh, and he stacked a multiball. And if you can stack those two, you stack the coin and the multiball, then it's a huge amount of coins. Come on, Carl. Save Will. Award what? Award map. Oh, it basically gave him a free mode. Oh. Countered as a mode complete, which will affect his bonus. Those are pretty valuable in the bonus. Don't tilt, Carl. I think he's okay no matter what he does on this. Yeah, you know. We want to see him get a break his own grand champion. I don't know how it works. Stern Trek bonus next time. I think I'm going to shrill down in an arcade. In an arcade, yes. In video games, no. For anybody that was a Super Mario World 2 Yoshi's Island player, never played that one. Baby Mario's on Yoshi's back the whole game, and whenever you get hit, he falls off and he starts screaming and crying until you recapture him or you die. That sounds horrible. nope got another upside down for Carl so this is the part we talked about where hopefully in a future version of software they adjust the tournament mode to have some sort of control over when the upside down the screaming lady in ghostbusters is pretty good oh I had to turn that off that was Dalek's induction that's pretty the worst part about the screaming lady in ghostbusters is that with a tilt oh is it yeah it's a tilt the screaming in Ghostbusters is not based on the volume setting of the game. No, it's just loud. Where I have it set at, you know, five volume or something like that. It's loud enough for my house, but not... Right. But then you forget after you update the software that it resets that screen and it comes out the first time at full volume. I'm waiting. I guarantee you somewhere there's somebody that got the cops called on them because of that. Oh, I'm sure. the rogan air officer yeah I mean it's probably lucky it wasn't me I'm pretty sure she's murdered yeah you need to go in there I don't think Carl's playing ball three I don't think Carl's playing ball three either oh and it looks like for our Sopranos we have the victor which is going to be David Oliver which knocks Luca out The screen does not happen during gameplay. No, it does. Oh, it does? Oh, it absolutely does. It's random. Nice. It's completely random during gameplay. It's not awesome. So I did notice when they put the new code into Ghostbusters, have you ever done the flipper code? Mm-mm. for like when Star Wars first came out they did it it's an ad for oh okay Deadflip oh okay a couple of the new games I've read about it I read that Ghostbusters the new code of Ghostbusters Willy Wonka has that too I think I don't know oh I know because you know he's Stern's guy yeah I have the not quite officially approved code on my Ghostbusters. Oh, did you now? Which, it doesn't change any of the scoring. It doesn't change any of the gameplay at all. All it does is change the soundtrack and put in all the licensed music that they didn't get licenses for. Oh, nice. So, when you get into some of the modes, it's a lot more fun when you're getting the actual soundtracks. Oh, that's cool. Yeah. I should have just scored it in the 90s. Yeah. Yeah. It goes like this. Speaking of new code, did you see the post from Keith Elwin about the minigame? I did. It looks interesting. Did you see the even newer post from this afternoon? No, no. The beta code is on Jurassic Park at Captain's Auction House in Orange County. Really? In Anaheim. All right. What's the ROM? People want to know. Oh, as far as the Ghostbusters one? Yeah. I just go on Pinside and look for Ghostbusters Custom. I think is probably what I searched for. And you'll find it on there. Somebody's posted on there. And it's full 1.17 up-to-date rules. Everything else about it is the same. It truly just changes the sound track. Flashy shot, John. Flashy shot. I mean for not knowing the game at all and not having ever played it he's putting up a pretty good score so far a little bit a little bit he definitely needs to be shooting for that lock shot there he goes so now that he's had his first multiball the challenge becomes that he's got to actually hit those stand-ups to relight the lock again Just got one I was going to say Because the first time around You just got to hit them once For all three right As soon as you let it once And it seems to stack Where you can keep hitting it It does appear to do that Yeah You sure need the wrench I don't even know this mode Rainbow breath I don't know what's going on Extra ball is lit. I saw somebody else collecting these shots. I've never seen this one personally. I don't know what this is. Extra ball. Isn't that supposed to be disabled? So it should be points. Should be points. If it is enabled, he gets to play it. But I'm assuming it was turned off. Board mapper. So again, his bonus is enhanced by that. So he started Demo Dog. Demo Dog's interesting. So there's a bunch of stand-up all around the playfield that will spell out Demo Dog. Right. If you light them all and then do that shot to the left of the drop targets, you will start a Demo Dog mode where all of those stand-ups become worth significant points. It's a timed one. This is it for Raymond right here. So Raymond has to break 100 million in order to stay in. He does have his lock lit. Oh, danger. Yeah, danger, danger. All right, take a second, get a breath. Again, that right shot, right hand flipper to that left ramp is so hard. There he is. He nailed it, though. All right, so that's ball one lock. Most likely he is going to keep just trying that. So there's that burn it back shot. As we said, a few more shots of that would light double play field. I like this. I like starting the mode while going for those stand-ups to try and get the multi-fall. Oh. Backhand. There it is. I think I'd go stand-ups here, try and get the multi-fall going. That works. Yeah. Dangerous. Double oof. Yeah. Some of the game, it's a lot of tight shots. Yeah. I didn't see what it got. I think it was increased jackpot. Yeah, I think it was. That was, we were talking earlier, I saw somebody getting higher jackpot values for the multiball. Oh, there we go. That must have been it. But there's got to be another way to do it other than that, you would think. I would think so. Oh. Big move. Big move double danger, but he did save it. Oh, oh no, he has spell of protection. Yep He's going for that lock now He's got the lock lit backhand that up there Again we talked about stacking he may have stacked. Oh, he's got upside down right now now. No, he's not going for the upside down. He's just going to try and get that ball locked. He might have stacked a third ball lock in there. Ignoring his upside down. Oh, no, he's got still one stand-up left to hit. There, he's got it now. So now, he just needs to There he goes. Yep, he's got his third multiball right there. There we go. So now he's got to turn this into jackpots, and he's got that increased jackpot value from the mystery award. So 300, now 600 million jackpot. I've noticed most players on this one, yeah, his ball save's going. Yeah. Most players on this one, it is one of those games where they don't, I haven't seen a lot of people try to trap up and do single shots at the jackpots until you get to that super jackpot. Most people are just trying to keep all the balls going at the same time. It looks like he had his add a ball through the mystery award shot. Ball save. A little more ball save in there. Yeah. Mystery's lit again, so I think he would, you know, if he can, you get into that shot again which might you're at another ball or at least give ball save Three shots to a scooper. Go for the right ramp. Three shots. All right, he's got that mystery. I couldn't see what it was. The lock shot is lit. He's got the lock. He's got the lock. If he can get this shot in, it's $24 million, which might be enough. It would be if he just gets that left. He does probably have it in bonus, but he's also got a double danger. I don't know. The bonus isn't too. I mean, it can be pretty big on this, but I haven't seen any huge. There he goes. That'll do it. $24 million for that. And that is going to secure Randall. Randall knows he's got it. He doesn't even care. He's going to step away from the machine. And that is going to put Johnny Maduka as being eliminated. Plague has been vaccinated. The cure. The cure. All right, let's take a look at the standings. All right, so we're going to be going into round four, which is going to be Iron Man with our remaining three players. So once they get this moved over, we'll have Carl, Raymond, and David. So some cool things, the folks over at the Museum of Pinball and Replay, or what's the next one called? Arcade Expo 6.0. So, again, we talked about the first place of this gets a Pinburgh entry. Right. Which is, you know, obviously a very valuable, everybody's shooting for that. But second and third place will actually get a free day at Arcade Expo Sticks. That's correct. Good times. InDisc has been cleared out. All the arcade games are back. Yep. But there's still, you know, a few hundred pinballs. The whole pinball side's open. 700 pinball machines. 700 arcade machines They should have the new sections So they're opening a gasoline alley They moved all the drivers to a new building So it's going to be an even bigger area Alright One of my favorite memories from Indus Was actually just playing that stupid giant Pac-Man Yes So it was me Versus Pac-Man but the showcase edition So it's massive Yeah, it was me and Elwin and CeCe and somebody else playing that. Every player has their own pedestal to look at the game. Well, and it's competitive. You're actually trying to eat each other in it. All right, here we go. So, down to the top three. Raymond and David both with three strikes. Carl with one strike. All right. I was not paying attention. That one's on. I can bring it up for you. All right. There you go. You're up there. All right. A little more. You got Johnny joining us over here? Yeah, why not? That's what you do when you lose, right? That's why I've been here for a couple hours, you know. All right. So we got Mr. David Oliver. All right. Everybody's throwing your name up in the chat. All right. Hello, people. Hello. My green face. I didn't. I was not even looking. I didn't see what happened. I don't know what happened. Raymond, you tilted? I guess you tilted. because David, you put a timer on it. All right. Okay. Let's see, David. Let's see what he's got. Have you played this one yet or not yet? Twice, but I lost both times. Okay. Yeah. So you're not a fan. Actually, I'm a huge fan of the game. Okay. I'm not a fan of how I played it today. Ah, well. Sometimes the game beats you. Sometimes you beat yourself. But it's been mean to everybody at least. Watching this, I get to go like, okay, it's not just me. This has been a really mean game today. Outland Ironman, that's what I always call it. I always stay away from this thing if I have a chance. But what are you going to do? Sometimes you're forced to play it. The bad thing is, I don't think we're going to be here for a long time. No, and Carl's obviously trying to, you know, he wants to get a first or second here just to force somebody else out and narrow the field down. But if he were to lose, he would be the not eliminated and we'd still be the same group again. Right. All right. So let's see, standard setup, so I think, what I try to do is I would do exactly what he's doing right now, which is basically try to get drones. Okay. To get into that war machine? Yeah, get into the war machine. Well, yeah, okay, now he actually lifted up drones. I actually, he, well, he did the orbit, so, all right, he's going to the war machine. He's going for Monger right now. Yeah, Monger. And down the hill. Not war machine. Monger, I get this too confused. War Machine and Monger, huh? Yeah, War Machine's the... The big thing in the middle. Well, War Machine is that... Really fast kickback. Yeah, War Machine is the fast kickback. Yeah. But I like to have War Machine when the Monger's up. Okay. So you can try to combine it and not do the risky stuff that he was doing and lost the ball. This is another one for a combination a lot of people will try to get, which is getting that Whiplash ready to go at the same time as bringing War Machine out. Yes. Or bringing Monger up. Yeah, Whiplash is great, especially when you're trying to do the Boogie. Yep. And that's another thing, too, is, you know, that kind of ultimate trifecta is you get bogey ready, you get it going, then you get your war machine and your monger or your whiplash and your monger going. So let's see, Raymond, he's... Ooh, good save. He's probably, I think he's going for bogey. Let's see if he's going to go for orbit. No, he's going to get his monger up. He's going for monger. Which, you know, again, you can always finish out the bogey right before you trigger the multiball. That's the problem with Monger, though. That's the only problem with Monger. So he's thinking about getting maybe some points. I mean, it was ball two, so he's got ball three. He's got some ball saves to try to get a few hits on Monger and then try to start the multiball and get some points on the table. Ball two already. I didn't think it was at the bar that long. Oh, yeah. Oh, well, it's Ironman. Welcome to Ironman. Oh, yeah. I guess part of this, too, is Chuck Casey, the curator of the museum of pinball, was at the bar. I had to schmooze for a minute. Graciously lets us host Indus at the museum. Yeah, that's kind of cool. Let's see what David is going to do over here. Is he going to... Okay, he's actually going to bring Monger up too. So everybody's kind of following the Monger route, I guess. Well, and when you get into this, you're not playing for first. You're playing for not last. Exactly. You're playing a little more conservative than you might if you were trying to just rack up as many points as possible. Yep. Just trying to get some safe points. Is it safe? It's nothing on the game is safe. Nothing's ever safe. Well, he survived a couple of shots there, so he's actually looking pretty good right now. Yeah, he's only got... I'm kind of surprised to see everybody's going for the clip the edge of monger approach rather than the... Bounce it off. Bounce shot, which will also give you a register. Eh, I don't know. I guess it's all personal style. Yeah. There he goes. All right. David's got it going, and he's on... Just in time because he drained that out in that outland. Yep. See if you can get through it. Trying to trap up here, it looks like. As I say, they're getting that last ball back. Yeah. All right. Bring it up. Come on. Get more of it. Yeah, Petro. There you go. He's got the orbit up. All right. Now just keep doing it. Bash the ball, Rod. I mean the mongrel. Oh. There you go. All right. Settle down for a second. You got a couple of points, but not too much. Unfortunately, that's the thing. It's a multiball that doesn't last a long time. It doesn't really give you a lot of points. Yeah, unless it's stacked. Yeah. So now at this point, I'm thinking he's probably going to do bogey. Probably get his bogey going, maybe go for whiplash. Yeah, he's got a couple of shots on it. Put some more points. There we go. Bogey, come on. Got Iron Man fast scoring. Isn't it nice when you accidentally hit a drone and you still survive it? So he's got his bogey. All right. Come on. Do some ramp combinations here if you can. Oh. That was like a drop catch. That's a tough break. Club. Yeah. Weird thingy happening there. But still put up a decent score. Absolutely. As to what's going on. Yep. Nine million. I know. We called it. Yeah. A club drop catch. All right. Now, nine million is not really a score you can get too easily by just ramping out. But it may be enough. You know, exactly. Let's see Carlito here. Infamous Carlito. Is this the same machine that Carl got the, what is it, the Dewar Diamond Multiball or something like that? Dewar Diamond. The one that you complete everything on is blinking. Oh, Jericho? No, not Jericho. The other one. the one where you complete all the modes and they're all blinking and you go to the final ultimate where's your goal do or die do or die multiball right yeah yeah so this is the one that was here for the state championship it might be his I mean the old his when he sold it so who knows I don't think we're going to be seeing any do or die multiball though no not not the way this one's playing no All right. Carl showing nice separation. Ultimate control. Yeah. Nope. And no. Ultimate-ish control. Where is the ball stuck? The balls are both stuck on the lane guide right here. On the lane guide right there. He's trying to get it to shake it down there. Almost there. There it is. There it goes. Okay. Wow. Ball separation. I don't think he meant that, but it worked. All right. Okay, he just tried to, so he was talking about this earlier. He's been trying to name this move that he does. Right. Which is right there where he had a ball on one flipper, cradled. The other ball was coming at the flipper, and all he does is just nudge the cradled ball to stop the momentum. Is it a nudge or a quick flip? Well, a quick flip just to stop the momentum of the incoming ball. Yeah, it's almost like a tappy flip. Oh, get in there. 3.5 million. Go. Oh. Oh, look at that. Jeez, what a night. That was a funny piece of... I don't know. All right. So you got about, what, 5.4 now? The cardo. Cardo. Well, I would just play with the letters more. Yeah. Carl dole. Yeah. By the way, Carl's really cool at doing that stuff. He likes to juggle a little bit, you know. Yeah. He does a little tippy-passes and stuff. All right. Back to the drawing board here. And still got some points. Yep. So put some pressure on Raymond. And Raymond has to pass either one or it's over for him. Yeah, he basically needs to do something. Yeah, he needs to go. Okay, so he's got a ball safe. So he needs five hits. Five hits on Mager. Smash him out real fast. Yeah. And survive them. Got one. Four more to go. Two. Oh. Okay, good. Survive the fling. All right. Take the second. Pecan collected three. Come on. What? Why are you passing? I don't think he meant to. Okay. I think he was trying to do an early flip. Oh! And that's it. Warmish. That's a good start for Raymond. Just like that. And that's going to be it for that. All right, Raymond. So that'll be a third place for Raymond. He's going to get himself a gift from the kids. And Carl's putting in scores. We're not going to delay the inevitable here. We're going to just get down to a heads up between David and Carl. Oh, yeah. What time is it? Wow. Hey, not even 7 o'clock. I know. We're doing good. Not too bad for a four-strike tournament. All right, let's take a look at standings here. Yep. Thanks, Raymond. Good job, Raymond. So he's going to the Arcade Expo. He is. That's a pretty good prize right there. How much did you go take it for? 60, 65. That's not too bad. Not too shabby. And you can use it. There is one day they will be doing a tournament there. Saturday. Typically what happens on the other events, we'll run a general tournament on Saturday. And then OC Bells and Chimes will run a women's tournament on Sunday. Ah, okay. There we go. Cool. So what will be the next game, we wonder? What will be the final? Oh, Batman. Is that what it will be? It is. Okay. It's going to be Batman. So in this, this comes down to either if Carl wins, that's it. He wins the Pemberg entry. If Carl loses, we'll do another round. That's right. To see who wins. Batman it is. Batman Dark Knight. So this could be a long playing game. I mean, this is a fun game. Oh, it's a great game. I like this. Did you win a raffle? Did you get your raffle prize if you won anything? I don't know. Did I win anything? You won the fluke. You didn't either. Congratulations. I won the zero? Yeah, I won nothing either. Where do you see it? names. Oh, got it. Nope. All right, David's getting started. He's trying to do Scarecrow, it looks like. Trying to backhand that Scarecrow shot. I played this a few times when it was at Mission Control for a little while. Right. And I got some of the basics down. Once you figure this game out, it's a lot of fun. But it can get run long. But I've also played Batman 66, which is the same layout. Yeah, completely different rules, though. Different rules. Different rules, yeah. So let's see. What did he start with, by the way? Did he start with a Scarecrow skill shot? It looked like Scarecrow. It looks like Scarecrow's lit, but I don't think he got it. I don't think he got the skill shot. He did not. He's just shooting for Scarecrow right now. And now he's going for his Joker. Because you can't backhand that Scarecrow shot from the right. You cannot? You can. Oh, you can. Yeah, usually you should be able to. You definitely want to bring that up as soon as you can. Yeah. But he looks like he's just going straight into Joker. Oh, he flubbed it. Yeah. He got one lock in the Joker. Which is actually not too bad, because now on the next ball, he wants to have the Joker skill shot. Steve Carl's holding up left flipper. He's going for the Joker. Really? He's going for the Joker. He's going for Joker. No, he was going for bat. And he missed it. It's gone. Yeah, it's pretty quick. Yeah. All right. Now he's going for Joker. Oh, now you want to backhand Scarecrow. Or not. No, he's going for locks. Okay. Personally, I want to get the Scarecrow out there because it's a safe shot. Yeah, right. But if you're confident on getting those Joker shots in. What I like to do too is I like to get Batmobile out of the way. So if I think I have a clean shot at Batmobile, I try to do that and complete it. So you can start the modes afterwards. All right, let's see. So he wants another... I'll say, mystery's also lit, but he's not too worried about it. That's dangerous. That's dangerous, yeah. If you can nail the center ramp, it's great. If you half ramp that thing, you're in trouble. All right. So there's the second ball locked. Okay. So now I wonder if he goes for Scarecrow before starting that. Oh, you have to. Yeah. Maybe he's trying to put the target down first. Maybe. He might, yeah. Okay, but he started Batmobile, so you want to complete it, and you don't have to do the Bow and Cairns on this. Or if you actually hit the orbit over and over, the hurry up just increases and increases and increases. Yeah, you blow it up. I think, I don't know if Boeing got a billion shot or something out of it. I think somebody in chat was mentioning that, too. Let's see a billion shot. You can build it and build it and build it. Build it and you can get to a billion. Imagine that. Wow. But you've got to do like 30 or 40 loops. Hey, that's a good do or die thing there, you know. It's not as easy as Doctor Who. Yeah. But if you're in jail or something, you need some points, hey, do it. All right, let's see what David. David is waiting a little bit. Stop giving Escher Lefkoff ideas. No, no, no, no, no, no, no. That one was going, Karens. Let's give credit where credit is due. Come on now. Escher's got plenty of feet under his belt. With the old Batman. I mean, with the new Batman, actually. Yeah. Yeah. Man, crazy what he's done. All right. Let's see what David's got over here. Oh, looks like he was going for Scarecrow. I think they're only going for Joker. Good control. I don't know why. There you go. Yeah, he's back in. Now he's going for Scarecrow. Now we understand what's going on now. By the way, what skill shot did he go for? He went for the Joker skill shot, right? I didn't see. It's green flashing. Now he's trying to get... Yeah, that's a joker, so that's perfect. So he's got a perfect setup. He only needs to nail it, nail the joker, and he's got a good setup. Do it. Oh, come on. Stop missing. Come on. Oh. Ejected. And this is always how it is. You get everything lined up. Don't lose the ball. All right. Get in there. Why are you passing the ball? That was weird. Wow. Because he wanted to be able to take a clean shot at it. Wow. I would think that from the left it's better, but hey, what's for him? Good. All right. He's already gotten through most of Scarecrow's jobs. He just had one Scarecrow shop left, and there it is. So he brought that in. Yep. So what I like to do here is if I see that question mark laid on the left orbit, I go for it. Because that could be, yeah, because that could give you a bonus multiplier on a shot. And if you can get a bonus multiplier on the joker shot, those jackpots are worth a lot of points. Oh, the two Xs. Oh, yeah. The little Xs that you see on the field. So other than that, just hit jackpots over and over and over. That's why it should be at a ball. Yeah, that's why it's very important to make sure that you're switching lanes on the inlanes every time. He's doing that. He's actually very good at that. David. Very meticulous. Question mark is the mystery is lit. He's got two balls. Did he get his out of ball ready with all those? Yeah, he already did his out of ball. All right. Oh, that's it. All right. Not bad. Not bad. You got some points. Is there a ball rolling around? Oh, there it is. All right. All right. He's got bat mission lit. Yep. Bonus two. Impostors. So I believe Impostors is another one that you can... Is it another one that you can build? No. Before you do the Bat Signal? No, it's just shoot the shots. Impostors. Is that what it is? All the Bat Missions are just shoot the shots. No, but I remember there's one that you can keep shooting the three shots before you actually hit the left orbit, and you just keep increasing the jackpots. I forgot. There's a... Is it the Batmobile and then something else? I'm sure somebody's about to probably ride it on the board there. Somebody's going to know. Oh, it is that signal. Aha, that signal. There you go. But if he hits the center shot. All right. Center shot. Come on. There it is. There it goes. It's good. Now what is it? Scarecrow? Should be Scarecrow. Yep, that's it. So he needs... No, that's it. That's it. Now he's started the Bicycle Challenge. Okay. Okay. Boom. Alright. Three shots to hit. In the meantime, why not? Yeah, it looks like that pod multi is lit on the right orbit. Okay, get that one down. Why not? Finish it on. Finish it on. So this is the one that you can build it up, okay? So this is the one that you can just keep hitting the middle shots over and over before you hit the left orbit. Unless you just want to, you know, Collect, cash it on, just start the multiball. But, yeah, that's what he's going to do. He's not going to go for any more of that. There you go. And now the jackpots are going to be 175. He's saying, I just want some points on the table. He knows Carl is coming for him. Yeah. Yep. All right. So this one is basically shoot all the little shots. All the lit shots. Oh, ball safe still on. He's good. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. All right, now it's out. Nice. And he's already up to 46 million, so. Mystery what? Get the mystery. What's he going to get for the mystery? You got a jackpot. Jackpot. No X. Man, I like the X. Every time you get an X, you're like, ah. Well, it looks like he's got 2X play field. 2X on. Looks like center ramp and joker shots. You can see them here. That's right. He does. He's got bat missions lit on the way. Oh, he drained. Never mind. Yeah. Be quiet now. But he's got 55 million points. It's a pretty good lead over Carl. It's a good start. Let's see what the master can do. Alright. We have somebody download the custom ROM for Ghostbusters. There you go. It's fun. With the good music. Big move by Carl. Save them for next time. No, he did not. Oh, that's going to put him in a really tough spot. We may be going to another final round. We may be going to a final, final, final, final. I guess so. I was kind of getting hungry, so I was almost like, oh, yeah. We had pizza. Yeah, we had pizza, yeah. I do. Oh. Ball save. He's got ball save. Don't do it again. Yeah, he's just keeping tense for ball three, you know. That's what it is. going to pull Jim Del Cito on him. Oh, boy. All right. Playing with fire. He's got that. That was the... See you, Ron. I feel a little sad every time there's, like, finals in pinball. You know, you usually start off with a full field, 50, 60, 70 people, and then the final, there's, like, five people there. Yeah. Everybody kind of walks out quietly. Quietly go the way. Someone picked a game. No, the games are chosen automatically by match play. Yeah. And the setup for these satellite tournaments was determined by replay effects for all the Pinberg satellite tournaments. Yeah. All right. So double danger for David. So no more moving. Okay. Loud. Oh, wait a second. You don't want to lose interest in pinball tournament. It's the same people going until 2 a.m. Yeah, just because you don't have an audience. It isn't true. Young blood coming in. I mean, you grow over time, you know. I've only been playing for a little over a year, and I went from, you know, being in the very bottom every time to, you know, I generally finished at the halfway mark or the top third mark, and I've had a few tournaments where I've even hit like a fourth or fifth place. and you just kind of keep building over time and realize that it is a very long-term skill that you learn. And there's lots of subtle skills to learn. Yeah, well, and a lot of it is the rules. You step up to a machine and you don't know the rules, which I still do. I still step up to a lot of machines and go, I don't know how to play this. Oh, you forgot he had both changes. All right, so Carl's got some work to do. It's Carl's game to win. Carl, tournament to win. Yes. 66 million. That is a lot of chopping wood on this game, let me tell you. But then again, I don't know. Let's see. He's going to go for the Scarecrow. Yeah, Scarecrow skill shot. There it is. Yep. He's going to try to start Scarecrow and try to combine it with Joker. And he still has a chance. I mean, he's not going to be as many points. Okay. Do not start. He's not going to want to start the multiball right now. Oh, boy. He really wants a scarecrow. Drop up. Scarecrow. Get the scarecrow. There it is. All right. Now he wants to start multiball. Yep. And it's right in the middle. Oh! And I guess we're going to another game. We're going to a final round. Yes. And Swizzlefish, one thing I would say, too, is talk to your tournament director. If you're finding you're in a big tournament like that and you're getting to the point where it fades away and everybody kind of dies off because only the top eight or so are playing, a lot of tournaments have started doing a B division type of thing. League's new consolation tournament. League's new consolation tournament. A lot of things for that exact reason, which is to say, hey, you know, yes, maybe these eight players are going to be going over here, but then we do a, you know, everybody else still gets a chance to have some fun and play well into the night. Anybody want to take bets on what the arena is going to be before you hit refresh again? What I want it to be is Viking. Viking would be awesome. I'm going to say... But it's going to be Star Wars Pro. You know, I haven't seen Star Wars Pro. No, it's going to be Indiana Jones. Do it. Let's see. Viking! Viking! Woo! Let's go. Classics. All right. All the classics. I normally don't place bets, but I would say I'd put some good money on Carl on this one for Viking. I think he's got... Yep, he's got a good feel on Viking. He knows this game real well. He's got a good feel on it. But you never know. I mean, it's... It is a game anybody could win and anybody could lose. It's a... Got five balls. Five balls. Five balls. And unless, you know, unless somebody locks in a 40 super bonus right on the first ball, then... The 20, we are going to say the 20 super bonus light is out. It is out, yeah. Then there's one of these, I think it might be the seven might be out as well. Yeah. So, a couple of strategies on this. So, what do you guys prefer? Extra balls are turned on. Extra balls are turned on. So, Carl and I were talking about this earlier, too, which is lock in at least a 20 super bonus, I think. 20 bonus is what I go for, and then the... He's going for multipliers and extra balls. Yes. And that's why, because he wants the extra ball. Because you know what? That extra ball, it actually ends up falling there quite often. It does, yes. Yeah, it's not as rare as you know. If you can get those five cleared, and then now he's got a little bit of bonus. Yep. So I think, yeah, his strategy will be get the extra ball, then work on bonus, then work on his AB and his collect bonus. So unfortunately, as Carl just discovered, the MPU 200 problem with the games, if you hit the spinner super hard but immediately go into saucer, the game doesn't have the ability to count two things at once. Really? Oh. That was a rough drain. That was a, yeah, weird. Yeah, it's not even right off that left sling, I think. So if you nail the spinner right through the middle and go straight to the saucer, it immediately stops counting once it's in the saucer. Wow. Oh. All right. Same for Harlem, Paragon. There's a bunch of older games where they can only count one thing at a time. They can't count you. Okay, so David's actually already in position in terms of the bonus collect, which isn't anything right now, but if he can build up a bonus, he could actually get it without having to hit that right. And it's a pretty safe shot, by the way, I've got to say. I've seen it earlier, and it was not bad. So, see if he's going to go for the, build a bonus, or he's actually going to try to. He's going for the. Oh, save it. Nope, nope, nope. Looks like he's going for the multiplier. Unfortunately, we can't see the tilt light, because it's lower on the back glass. Right. But there's a good chance he may have tilted. No, I saw the bonus. I mean, it wasn't much. It was only like 8,000 or something. But I will say that the tilt is fairly tight on this. we saw earlier when I was playing that, trying to do that save, that I hit a little too hard. Though going up and down, I mean, it gives you, it does give you some leeway. Oh, there it is. Gone. Yep. Bye-bye. Five balls. House collects. Five balls. Five balls. Yep. Yep. So David has a chance to come back here a little bit. Let's see here. And that's a good feed from the top. So shoot it up the middle. Get stuck there. Yeah, you got it. That's all right. Give it a little. Yep. Yeah, I'd shake the machine more than trying to do it. He's trying to do a tap pass to kind of get it out of the wedge there. There he goes. Nice. And he got it to spin. And by the way, the spinners are nice and juicy. Oh, there he goes. Oh, he's just going for the spinner. He's got the 1,000 lid on the spinner now, too. Yeah, I'm surprised, though. So he's getting the bonus. Oh, yeah. Yeah, this was one of the Indus games, so everything's super juiced up. It's that fast, yeah. I mean, I think when you have it on the right flipper, I will kind of go for the drop targets, for the multiplier targets, than the spinner. I see. I, on this one, on early balls, try and get the super bonus locked in at least 20 and then go for the drop targets. Because if you can get that 20, then you can just feel safe on your next ball about just strictly going for the drop targets. We get some points. But going for the drop targets, you can light extra ball. You can light extra ball. That is true. That's a big one. I think that's been Carl's strategy here. It's probably going for the tap pass. He's not even going for the spinner. Look at that. No, he doesn't care about the spinner. He cares about the extra ball. I think after that house ball he got on the last one, he wants to get a pad in there. Yep. And there it is. And now it's lit. So, that's a question of collecting it. So, now he's going to shoot up the middle, try to get some bonus in there. Nice. Nice. Nice tap. All right. Get it back under control. Absolutely. Up the middle. So, what he's trying to do right now is right here. Yeah. Is where our extra ball is. Oh. Did he tilt? Nope. No, he's going to get his bonus. No, he's going to count some money here. Yeah. Oh, yeah. Even without trying to raise his bonus, he's still got a good bonus there because of that five times. Yeah. That's why I keep thinking those multiplier targets, if you're on the right flipper, you've got to shoot for it. Yeah. I think it's not a bad strategy at all to say, hey, if I'm on the right flipper, I'm shooting those drops. If I'm on the left flipper, I'm going to shoot the spinner. Yeah. The lit flashing arrow you see here gives you 50,000 points only when it's flashing. Only when it's flashing. It's like a siren. Yeah, it's basically kind of like the... It's a distraction. It is very much a distraction. It's a bad idea shot. Oh, man. It's like a guaranteed drain if you hit that thing. I mean, you can kind of hit it by accident, and it's great. 50,000? Hey, you know? It's a close game. Stick to the strategy. Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah. All right, ball four coming up. All right. Unfortunately, David is not getting a lot of breaks when it's going down the out lane because you can't save it. Yeah. It's getting kind of dirty down there. Someone's asking, what tips would you give to improve my games in this tournament? Oh, he didn't tell that. You better give that a minute, Carl. You better let that settle. So tips to improve your game. I'll tell you right now. Do stuff that you are uncomfortable with and force yourself to do it. Yeah. Dead passing, post-passing. Tap pass. Oh, yeah. Tap pass, that's even more. That's not essential, but I think dead passing is probably the most important one to do to differentiate yourself. Just to trust the game to bounce over there. Yep. That's when I took a long time to get used to it and then finally went, oh, okay. That's it. And then drop catch. Carl needs the extra ball shot on the roll over here. What I would say is if you don't have a machine at home to practice on, when you go and play on location to practice, don't just play the way you normally play. Don't just sit there and try to get to a certain mode or anything like that. Yep. Use that time to, like Johnny was saying, practice your tap pass, practice the alley pass. And we're supposed to say to have fun, which you should. And have fun. Of course you want to have fun. That's the reason why you do it. But you have more fun when you win, Dave. Oh, I know that. Sounds like a satisfaction. I got glad I got that. Yeah. But I'm going to think in order of importance, the skills to learn are probably the dead bounce is probably the most important. Yes. Followed by the drop catch and the live catch. You got those three down and you can get to the finals. Yep. And then it's learning the rules of the games. And the rules, of course. Depending on what games you got. There's some games where some loop passing is pretty valuable. It all depends on what machine you're playing Yeah, but that's like Those are the little tiny Those are the two percentiles Yeah, I mean, yeah Older games like Johnny Monick's not going to be in every Yeah I'm going to say If you get to 95% 95% of your score is going to be that Drop catch, dead bounce, and Hit it No Alright Ball five coming up Ball five Carl's got a little more than double Alright David's score The scores are not Super high right now They're not No There is no Because nobody's done The collect shot Nope Somebody put some Bonus up there With a couple collect shots And Oh yeah A whole new ball game Yeah Or even just get Get that 20 Learned with a full time That saves To save money Yeah Oh That's why you're not Playing in tournaments I left the window open here This is open This tournament Is down to this ball And I think he's got a 20 already in the bank, right? The Pinberg Satellite Tournament in Riverside. I don't remember. It's come down to one ball. All right. Let's see what he can do here. And this is it. So I say get the multiplier. Get the multiplier. Get the extra ball. Yeah. Boom. You don't even need the extra ball at this point. You get the multiplier. He's in. That's a bad bounce. All right. Survive it. Survive it. Oh, he did it. I didn't even see him move it. I didn't even see him move it. Oh, he moved it. He moved it. He moved it. There's a left side slap. There's a left side slap. So David is going to get himself a pin. Carl D'Python Anghelo is your winner. And Carl is going to get himself into Pinberg. David Oliver may be going to Arcade Expo 6.0 for free, but Carl D'Python Anghelo has secured his guaranteed spot in Pinberg 2020. Well, we're all going to Pinberg. We're all going to Pinberg. Carl is guaranteed to get in. Not going to Pinberg. You're not going to Pinberg? He's one less. I'm going to try and go to Pinberg. I don't know what to worry about. All right. We're starting to run out. See you later, people. Brad's kicking us out. Yeah, thank you all for watching. Thank you, guys. Carl says thank you. Have a great night. And what are you doing? So next week we're going to do more Lord of the Rings at my house for those that actually want to watch anything, trying to get to Valinor. If I hadn't, would I have it this week? If I hadn't screwed it up. You still can't get to Valinor? No, I've done it, but I had it lit. And I failed to destroy the ring twice on Thursday. Do you have, like, an LE you got at the house? No, just a regular. Oh, it looked different on the inside. All right. Thanks, everyone. See you, folks. See you later.
